This the General Chat thread! This is where questions, comments, and concerns will be posted as well as out of character chatter.​

ROUND 1: END
ROUND 2: June 24th - July 24th​​

Should have mentioned this earlier but I had a tiring day yesterday and when I was available, it was only to talk and answer questions. Anyway, because of Wicked's schedule eating 'em alive, I've decided to archive Lou until Wicked decides to return. I've also decided to conclude round 1. What does this mean for the current scene? We'll time skip to the next day and I'll let Namora decide if Cerise is still captured or not. If so, Zelda and Angelica could have returned to the girl's cave with the news of her capture during the night and we'll pick up again with the girls planning a rescue mission. This could be the opportunity for both sides to meet. The time skip will also allow for a smoother migration for the newest members and open up new opportunities for character interaction.

I'll start up round 2 later today/tonight and tomorrow I'll do what I had planned to do yesterday and work on updating/reworking the OOC thread again since I'm still getting questions about things that are already written out. I didn't have a clear idea on how long I should keep each round open for but swing as the first round managed to drag on for months I'm setting the closing date exactly thirty days after the initial opening, which means round 2 is opening today, June 24th, and closing July 24th.

One thing: familiars are semi-ethereal, meaning they can't interact with anything other than casters and familiars, so sadly Neried can't carry anything unless it's his Caster.

Just, Ya know, On the names of stuff, A fathomy grave? 2 suggestions for names on that;
10 thousand Leagues Under the Sea.
Or. Crushing Abyss/Depths.
both sound cooler and 1 is the name of a REALLY good book.

Ice storm works, but why not just outright Blizzard.

And Waterspout, Why not god dam Geyser?

Wondering Star motes are mines, if ya can detect em and know what they are. you can walk round.

Holy sword, well in one case, he has to smack you with it, in the other case its flying in a straight line out a pentagram.

Star Fall, It falls out the dam sky, just roll out the way (well its about 2m across so a bit further) as for the aoe version, just produce a sheild or go hug him.

Fury Of The Sun; Yes, it is, its pretty much a laser beam. but its only good at close range.

Genesis; its a tactical nuke via magic. you can try. also, he's banned from using it remember?
 
I like both of your suggestions, thanks. I didn't like the name of "Fathomy Grave" when I came up with it, but I felt like I needed to get my CS up, and didn't want to hold it up because I couldn't come up with good names for spells - was difficult enough to come up with the spells. (Also, how do we know that book exists in this universe? j/k)

Cuz "Blizzard" is the name of a AOE spell in WoW... and while it's similar, I didn't want to use "Blizzard".

and C'mon "Geyser", you're gonna name it exactly what it is in RL (and likely the game world).

I appreciate the constructive criticism....
 
Lol, I build worlds as a hobby, and a big part of them tends to be magic. so spell names, and spells themselves tend to be fun for me. If you would like I could draw you up some water spells and PM them to you.
Ok, what about Frozen Blades?
water spout seems, well rather damp. while Eruption sounds rather fire based, it'd also be hilarious for her to go 'eruption' and someone go 'the fuck? thats a fire spell isn't it?'

...I just drempt up a whole new spell for Lux. and I want to add it to his list. but I'm allready on five. @Noctis the Devious Can I start drawing up a list of 'general' light spells? because otherwise you may or maynot end up with a spellbook sitting in your inbox.

I don't know anymore I really don't I have like 2 more minutes of Free time right now before I have to do things OH MY GOD I HAVE AN IDEA!!!

What if their was a "Specialist" Class? they can only learn one thing but it's outside the ordinary things like a Specialist could have the power to manipulate color or Use their Aura to defend and attack people.
 
I think it would be pretty cool, Especially Manipulating your Aura personally I would choose that, I'm just sitting in Physics and I kind of just dreampt that up
