Jamie losing his hand and the aftermath must be the best damn character development I've noticed in this series so far.

I could never quite figure out what Littlefinger really wants from all of this. The fact that he baffles me makes him an interesting character to me.

Also, Tywin. Let's not forget the father of the pathetic lions (except for Jaime and Tyrion). He is king shit.

They will find out soon enough. That said, another character to add that's long gone (dead, I mean) in this series and book is Rhaegar Targaryen.
