Backstory:

Blanche was born and raised to a Bat and Bear Faunus couple on the outskirts of Vale, though she and her family never stayed long in the same place.

During her childhood, her parents worked as traveling merchants and hunters for hire, though their main source of income had been through their sold wares. They kept their weapons secret and never openly advertised their abilities to be more than just sells people. Those who did discover the couples' true potential would often hire them for dangerous work, some keeping their word to pay and others needing intimidation or violence to hand over what was promised.

Due to their line of work, the couple had decided that bloodshed, violence, and disturbing behavior was not something their darling daughter should be exposed to. So, they talked it out with the Elk Faunus's father and decided that letting Blanche stay with him would be the best thing for her.

While with her grandfather, Blanche had become an outcast among the children for being a Faunus. She had been very young at the time and never understood the discrimination against her, so she ignored it as best she could to try and avoid problems. This only encouraged the children to try harder, and eventually, they succeeded in making her cry every time they cornered her.

Her grandfather caught wind of this. He would smack some sense into his granddaughter, telling her that Faunus were not seen as individuals in this day and age. The humans are using them to push around and make themselves feel stronger than they actually are. From him, she took to heart that humans were naturally weaker and they would do anything to forget how fragile they truly were. And so, Blanche picked up that if empathy and compassion wouldn't get her bullies to leave her alone, then violence would.

The next time the group had come to pick on her, Blanche threw the first punch. It ended with the main bully having a bloody nose and a broken arm; the posse hadn't expected the Faunus to fight back, so they fled to save themselves from being hurt or getting in trouble.



Blanche's grandfather was proud of her for putting the human children in their place, but her parents weren't as pleased.

Her mother sat her down one evening and explained to her that yes, Faunus was not seen to the same extent as humans, but violence would only get her so far before she became a public enemy. Blanche's mother was happy that her daughter stood up for herself, but violence should not be the first resort to her problems. Compassion, kindness, and negotiation did go a long way in life.

Blanche had questioned this, asking that if compassion worked, then why did it not deter the kids from making fun of her?

Her mother simply sighed and told her that under specific circumstances, violence was necessary. Blanche should not be throwing the first punch. She should not have to rely on violent behavior unless she feels she has no choice but to.

Blanche felt a little conflicted with what her grandfather and mother were teaching her. She didn't know who to take to heart more.


Around the age of 6, Blanche had decided not to go outside as often as she used to and instead found sanctuary in her grandfather's store. She never had to worry about being bullied or facing some kind of discrimination when she was in there, and so decided to spend most of her time within the store's walls.

She one day watched as her grandfather worked in the back while one of his trusted employees manned the front. Blanche had become very interested in her grandfather's work of bullet swaging and weapon repair, so she expressed her desire to be taught.

Her grandfather was happy to teach her.

Blanche quickly proved to be a diligent and hardworking girl because, by the time she was 8 years old, she was helping in the store by making quality bullets and assisting her grandfather with weapon repairs.

Her parents weren't exactly happy that their daughter was working as an employee at such a young age at first, but Blanche was clearly enjoying herself and making quite a generous allowance from it, they realized that she would gain a work ethic from this and learn something every future hunter or huntress should know. So they allowed this.

Blanche herself was happy with this arrangement, but she hated having extra time on her hands. So, she went to whatever hobby markets she could in Vacuo to get anything for herself to pass time with.

She picked up beginner knitting supplies, yarn, a random murder mystery novel, a book on knitting, a sketchbook and some pencils to begin. Blanche hadn't known where to start with those items, but they helped spark her interest in her current hobbies.


When she was 12, her parents were forced to come home early due to a leg injury her mother had sustained. A deal that had gone incredibly poorly left her mother crippled, leaving her to walk with a limp and unable to handle herself as she used to. Blanche's mother had to retire her weapons, much to her dismay. This event inspired Blanche's father to begin training his daughter. Blanche was going to grow up and be independent one of these days. If she couldn't defend herself, she would be in huge trouble in the future. She had to learn.

Blanche took the training in stride, which was when her father was convinced that becoming a huntress was his daughter's destiny. She picked up on his lessons faster than he had anticipated, and she showed potential.

Dusk and Dawn were not passed down to her until she was 14, and with that, Blanche's desired path in life had been sealed.



She trained herself and her weapons with her father's help and a family friend that happened to be a hunter until she was 18. Through trial and error, Blanche gradually became an exceptional huntress by her father's standards, and so he decided that she could begin to accompany him in place of her mother.

One night as they traveled from Vacuo to Mistral, her father explained to her the truth behind her grandfather's shop. They did not survive on profits and word of mouth alone. Rather, Xanthias had set up a deal with an organization known as the White Fang. In exchange for bulk shipments of ammunition and dust bullets, they would discreetly sponsor the shop with generous monthly payments and protection for Xanthias and his family, and even further train her if she so desired. He would then tell her that he and her mother agreed that they would continue this deal even after Xanthias passed away, and hoped she would take the reigns after they died as well. Not just for her sake, but for her future family's sake as well.

Blanche took what he said to heart and considered it.

She accepted the offer of being trained further, knowing that it would only benefit her in the long run. The Grimm were steadily getting stronger, and if she didn't adapt, she would become a hearty meal as well as anyone who relied on her. With her decision set in stone, Blanche's father made some arrangements and her training began.

Through her cousin, an Ox Faunus who had been a White Fang veteran unbeknownst to her, and an older Lion Faunus woman, Blanche received steady physical and Semblance training for the next year. Their training regime was grueling and they wiped the floor with her face the first couple of spars, but gradually, Blanche grew better. She learned the different techniques and honed her senses for combat, much to the delight of her teachers.

Blanche managed to defeat them when she turned 20, only because she had to use her Semblance at its maximum capability. She'd been told by her cousin that with time and experience, she'd be able to take down her enemies without the need of using her Semblance. But for now, her training was finished.

Blanche knew that this protection and training would eventually come to them asking a favor of her. After everything the White Fang has done for her family, for her, and for her grandfather's business, who was she to deny them?

The day they asked, she'd be ready.

For now, she resumed traveling with her father, feeling stronger than ever.

Blanche helped sell goods and repair services up until she was 21 years old, then it was decided it was time she begins going alone. She had had a few business partners who promised to be of help, but Blanche had ended up breaking the arrangements early due to incompetence. The most promising one had perished during their travels, leaving behind a caravan Blanche uses to this day, a broken weapon, and memories.


Weapon:

Dusk and Dawn

Twin pistols that double as a falchion sword. The weapon has been around for generations and had been retired around the same time hunters/huntresses became shunned. Blanche brought the weapons out of retirement and learned how to properly use Dusk and Dawn. She is now rarely seen without them.

Semblance: Blanche's semblance allows her to get stronger with each fraction of a second that passes. The strength she gains builds up until she is able to lift 5,000 pounds comfortably.

However, the entire time she has her semblance active, Blanche will undergo pain while her body works to adjust for the strength she gains. The more Aura she uses up, the worse the after effects of her semblance will be once she deactivates it.

The after effects itself is a throbbing feeling in the muscles of her arms and legs, much like someone would feel after they've exercised. This is usually remedied with medicine, but the worst state Blanche can be in is immobile for a couple of hours. She has two hours of Semblance usage before she is unable to move.

Blanche always wears a glove on her right hand because when she was a child, she had a red dust accident that completely burned and discolored the skin. Having grown annoyed with people staring at it or constantly asking about why her hand was a different color to the rest of her, she always wears gloves. She used to wear two but one had been stolen by a thief who thought it was her coin bag on her belt. She hasn't bothered to buy another one.

Blanche hates purses and refuses to wear them. She believes it's the best way for a thief to come and take everything she holds valuable. So her important belongings are always hidden on her person. This could include inside her pockets, boots, bra, and belt pouches; however the most that will be gained from her pockets are little reminders or info slips of paper.

Backstory:
Chro's early life was somewhat typical of a child born into a family of hunters and huntresses. She began combat training from a young age, learning her family's fighting style. At the age of 17, she enrolled in Beacon academy. The assaults on civilization by the creatures of Grimm which continue to this day began shortly thereafter, putting her and the rest of her peers on the front lines. Although hardly the education she was expecting, she still managed to survive, and obtain her license as a Huntress.

In the early days after the fall of the academies and the rebuilding of new cities, Huntsmen weren't regarded as poorly as they are today, and she was hailed as a hero, along with many of her peers. A modest person who genuinely wishes to protect her fellow man, she has fought many battles and sacrificed as much as she could in defense of the people of Remnant. She's seen her share of death, and is compelled to save as many people as possible. Her drive to protect others will usually outweigh her concerns for her own safety, although she otherwise tries to avoid risks whenever possible.

Ten years ago, she helped organize and found the CHRM (pronounced "Chrome") Foundation along with other like-minded huntsmen. The name of the organization is something of a fanciful call-back to the team names used in the old academy days. An anti-Grimm research organization, the foundation's purposes are to uncover the secrets of the changes in the Grimm, and develop new weapons and technology to better fight them, with the goal of minimizing casualties. CHRM is a non-profit and demilitarized organization, and has grown to include branches dealing with such areas as civil engineering to help people rebuild. While she spent some of her time as a director or advisor for the foundation, she continued her work as a huntress.

Around five years ago, she began to use some of her resources with the foundation to create a sort of support network for hunters and huntresses still in operation. Although some supplies are available, the primary purpose is to maintain contact with each other to share information and safe haven, in the current climate. If asked, she considers this side-project to be more of an informal letter-writing circle than anything.

She is semi-retired, and currently owns and operates Cafe Kyrie, a cafe in Zramore, Vacuo. Her days are devoted a little more to her hobbies of brewing coffee and tea, and conversation with her patrons. It would be difficult to call her days completely peaceful, however, and she will still do what she sees as her duty, if she hears of any Grimm in the area.

Weapon: Silver Key
A longsword built out of a silvery alloy and family heirloom. Silver key's blade appears to be covered in a strange arabesque tracery forged naturally into the material of the blade. An archaic weapon in many ways, it lacks modern refinements such as a cartridge system for dust, although the sword does have two sockets into which raw dust crystals can be slotted, to empower its attacks. One socket in the sword, the other in the scabbard. Silver key does not transform into other forms. It does, however, boast unique properties enhancing its wielder's ability to channel Aura through the blade and channel the elemental power of Dust. Chro at least claims the weapon is particularly dangers at night, when the moon is shining in the sky.

Semblance: Vector Trap
While she claims to manipulate vectors, Chro's semblance is not quite as broad in application as that would imply. The primary use of her semblance is to create circular glyphs on a nearby solid surface. These glyphs cause anything that comes in contact with them to be launched away from the surface, with the direction indicated by wisps of aura streaming out of the glyph. She cannot places these glyphs on people. A refinement to her semblance glyph is to instead create an arrow-like symbol that causes anything coming in contact with it to move in the direction the arrow points. Rather than simply send things away from a surface, this can move them along it, instead.

Regardless of use, the symbols she creates last around 20 seconds unless initially supplied with more Aura or dismissed earlier. She can create them in a limited range around her, and is restricted by line of sight.

Aura Color: Silver

Dust: Chro primarily uses dust to enhance her melee attacks, by adding an elemental effect or burst to her strikes. She has no strong preferences for Dust of any specific type, and will use whatever she has on hand at the time. Her weapon's archaic mechanism means it can only use unrefined dust crystals and lacks an actual firing mechanism, forcing her to focus on drawing the dust's power herself. She can use dust in concert with her wave techniques to particularly devastating effect, infusing her sword or blasts of Aura with the element the dust contains.

Chro's Semblance does not interact with Dust.

Talents:
Aura wave Technique: Chro is quite skilled in using aura to infuse or enhance her attacks, and can even launch waves of it as a projectile.

Cooking: She can cook, and usually does a good job of it. She personally bakes the desserts served at her cafe.

Driving and vehicle maintenance: Chro can both drive and maintain her motorcycle which will in no way be doomed as part of a cool set piece at some point in the RP.

The main CHRM headquarters is located in Malden, although branch offices exist in each of the four major kingdoms. The engineering school is situated in Wakikata. Primary CHRM research areas include the Grimm, advanced robotics (including creation of robots capable of wielding aura), and improving Dust-based weapon systems.

Chro formerly carried the nickname of the Black Witch, during her more active days as a huntress.

Semblance: Icarus Wings. Allows Nudara to project his aura as a set of wings. These wings are not used for flight. However, as they are made of his aura, they can be used to shield him. He can also shoot the feathers out as aura-based projectiles. By mixing his aura with the red dust in his sword, Nudara can emblazon the feather projectiles with fire.
Dust: Red dust, for fire, embedded as a gem stone in his sword.

Weapon: Midas Talon. This weapon was made on the orders of his father to be part of a set of two. It is a falchion made from a golden-bronze alloy. A red dust gemstone sits in the center of the cross guard, which can be used to cause explosions and super heat the blade. The single edged blade gets wider towards the tip, with the back hand side having saw like ridges. A lever on the pommel can be flipped to activate the sword's chain form, in which the blade will separate into segments all connected by a chain. In this form Nudara uses the Midas Talon like a chain whip. Using the lever again will reel the chain in and reassemble the segments back into a complete blade.

Backstory:
Nudara comes from a very rich family. The Shreiks have been jewelers for generations and the Golden Skies Corporation is the leading producer and retailer of jewelry and gemstones. Their name and wealth are famous the world over. And Nudara was the oldest son and heir to this vast fortune. Was.

Nudara, however, had other plans. He knew that his father used Faunus labor to mine gold and dust. Vacuo has an abundant amount of natural dust so the mines were close by. Though they mostly owned gold mines. Not all of the Faunus workers were paid or even registered. They were slaves. Nudara set out on a series of covert operations to close down all of the mines. He worked with local Faunus and even the White Fang to put an end to the slavery. The rigorous training that his father put him through was paying off.

But there was an incident. A rescue mission gone wrong. Nudara teamed up with a White Fang representative named Urian Lakis to bust some Faunus miners out of mining camps. The mine collapsed during a fight, killing Faunus workers and Golden Skies guards. It was the last mission Nudara ran with the White Fang. Their violence was too extreme and they didn't care who they hurt. When his father found out, Nudara stood up against him. For the first time in his life he was standing up against his father. Closing the mines, helping the Faunus workers, he was finally doing something good. And he would not let his father hurt anyone else.

Unfortunately, his father had no worries about disposing of any resistance to his business. Even if that resistance was his own son. The head of the Shreik family sent his own son away to Beacon Academy. In the public eye this was to help improve relations between the kingdoms. But it was actually about Nudara's father removing him from the company. And worst of all is that he blackmailed Nudara into going to Beacon. He threatened to report Nudara's illegal raids on his mines, even going so far as to threatening to pin the injuries and deaths of the dead foremen and guards on him.

Needles to say that Nudara's impressive resume easily saw him accepted to Beacon Academy. The prospect of becoming a Hunter is something the Nudara readily accepted despite the fact that his father was simply getting rid of him.

After graduation, he began his work as a Hunter. During the construction of Malden, he saw that the Golden Skies Corporation was exploiting the people of Malden. Making a profit by delaying the construction of much needed homes. This lead him into direction confrontation with his family. Fighting against the Golden Skies Corporation and the Shreik family. Fighting the Golden Skies Corporation and helping people wherever he goes has been his life for the past three years.


Trivia:
1)
His first name, Nudara, is of Arabic origin, meaning gold. His last, Shreik, is named after a bird-like monster from a video game (Dauntless), furthering the motif of the wings semblance.
2) He once left Midas Talon out in the sun, on a hot day in Vacuo, causing the blade to heat up and trigger the fire dust. The weapon needed serious repairs after this incident.
3) Talks with a noticeably posh accent which stands out in his home kingdom of Vacuo.

Backstory
Abandoned as a baby on the front doorstep to Haven Academy, Axel was taken into care by the headmaster of the academy at the time as he was raised as the headmaster's own son. Growing older every day, it was soon discovered that the reason behind why Axel was abandoned was that he was diagnosed with a disease that was actually killing his body internally each and every day. This new discovery explained as to why almost every night at dinner, Axel would end up coughing horribly just to see that it was blood each time he coughed into his napkin. Refusing to allow a young child to slowly die this way even if he was a Faunus, the headmaster spent each waking day and night attempting to figure out a cure for Axel's disease when he wasn't monitoring and checking on the students at the academy. No matter how many attempts he made, nothing ever came out in success, so to avoid causing too much worry for Axel the headmaster suggested that he should sign up to become a hunter and so he did.
Although it wasn't exactly a solution to the problem, having Axel join the academy to learn how to become a hunter allowed the headmaster to spend even more time focusing on the cure while not having to be worried that Axel would become far too concerned that he was no doubt going to die one day.

It wasn't until the news about Project Grimm being something that was saving people's lives that were either sick or disabled did the headmaster sign up Axel for one of the candidates to be next for treatment. Because of how the headmaster had requested Axel, it didn't take long before he was taken into the facility to begin the 'treatment'. Being unable to visit or even hear from Axel for several months and only being told that he was getting the best treatment possible because of how his disease was more special than others so it was taking longer, the naïve headmaster simply believed what he was being told.

While, in reality because Axel was the headmaster's request he was indeed gaining special 'treatment' but rather than curing to help him they decided to give him a heavy dose of the dragon Grimm's energy before keeping Axel locked up in a completely all metal room in the back of the facility where there had been several guards and multiple security checks just to gain access to 'Subject D' as they named him. Everyday was a living torturous Hell for Axel as he was forced to take more and more of the dragon Grimm's energy serum before being put into several tests to battle against other lesser Grimm to see if their plan had succeeded in forcing Axel to awaken the dragon Grimm's inner power. While there were several times it worked, it left Axel unconscious by the end of the experiment every time.

Years passed and eventually when the day of the other students and experiments started the riot to escape the facility, Axel was one of the last to be able to leave after the guards were either killed or too busy focusing on other experiments to notice Axel had snuck out. Wandering the land after escaping, his memory was nothing more than a fuzz as all he had was the necklace he wore since he had been at the facility and the clothes on his back which were nothing more than rags. Something in his head telling him that he was to return to Haven Academy was the only thing that he could remember as he went on his way there to get to Haven academy only to find it surrounded by Grimm and Atlas troops all over by the time he had gotten there.
Even without his memory, he followed his instincts and gut before ending up coming across the headmaster's office where blood was splattered everywhere around the room but yet no body was found anywhere. The only thing there was a sheathed sword covered in blood resting against the front of the desk and a note beside it stating that it belonged to him signed by the headmaster, also stating an apology for not being able to protect him like he promised. After reading the note, still barely any memory was returned to Axel as he only took the sword and left as quietly as he could. Now to this day, he simply travels Remnant in hopes to one day regain his memories about who he fully was as well as what lead him to this point.

Weapon
Raven's Talon
The full history behind the weapon is a mystery even to it's original wielder; the late headmaster of Haven Academy. Even he did not keep any record about how he had crafted the weapon or if it was true that he had crafted it or if it was found. However, there have been rumors that were passed around that the sword has a legend behind it that the reason behind it's crimson color is due to how it was originally taken by an unknown Grimm and used to slaughter countless numbers of mortals, it was even stated that the Grimm that used the sword was intelligent enough to know how to speak in multiple different languages and it appeared to have the figure of a human.
At first sight, Raven's Talon looks to be nothing more than an ordinary katana from it's shape and how it has a sheathe just like a katana. However, aside from when the blade is unsheathed, the base of the handle has several jagged spikes that allow for any dust capsule to be placed there so that the sword is able to achieve that dust's element for when Axel is to strike. While the blade is sheathed, it is constantly being charged with electricity due to the advanced technology that was made within the sheathe; allowing when the blade is unsheathed, it is fully charged with electricity for several minutes before requiring to be recharged.
Aside from that, the sheathe can also be used as a semi-automatic rifle as it shoots bullets infused with dust from the opposite end of the sheathe.

Semblance

Being able to channel kinetic Energy throughout both his body as well as any object to be able to remove it's energy to cause it from moving whatsoever or to channel further energy into it to cause it to move at a greater speed. Axel tends to use this moreover upon himself with his sword to allow him to be able to make clean cuts throughout each of his attacks or to even increase his own movement when running. Following along with that, Axel is also able to absorb damage into him at high amounts and turn that damage into kinetic energy as well to either allow him to blast out the same amounts of energy into pure force from his left hand, however the more damage his body takes the more it risks him to be killed as well. The downside to using his semblance however is that aside from having to actually the object to be able to stop or increase it's speed, due to how he uses it upon himself more than anything, each time he uses it; he causes his body to go into severe amounts of exhaustion due to him still not having the full mastery of it yet.

Using a variety of dust elements, Axel mainly only uses it for his weaponry since he has no experience in using it in any other form. Though he is one that has a tendency to experiment by combining the different dust capsules together at times to see if he is able to create a different element even if most of the time it leads to only explosions in his face.

Axel at all times keeps his right arm hidden from sight as much as he possibly can. Normally he is seen wearing a large ragged brown cloak around his body and even when taking it off he keeps his right arm hidden within his hoodie so that the sleeve looks completely empty. When actually revealing his arm, it is completely wrapped in several white bandages yet unlike an ordinary hand, he appears to only have three claw-like fingers due to how underneath the bandages is a Grimm arm. This being a major weakness to him when in battle since aura cannot protect anything that is Grimm, yet the strength of the Grimm arm is immensely superior to that of any ordinary human or faunus.
Axel also wears a necklace that appears to have a shard of a black dust crystal that is the element of gravity that he tends to have a deep connection to it. Although he has no memory as to why, he seems to be highly attached to the necklace and protective to make sure no one is to take it from him.

Semblance: Pharaoh's Orders. Hazim can project his Aura around another. His Aura will slowly begin digesting theirs and feeding it back to him. The effects do not last but for a time it will slowly sap the powers of those affected and make Hazim stronger. This also makes it very easy to use his aura with Phyygian Grace's liquid gold.

Weapon: Phyrgian Grace. A weapon that can spray the holder's aura in a golden liquid form. Body parts that come into contact with this liquid are forced to obey Aura's owner's orders. The liquid has to be in direct contact with their own Aura and the target body part at the same time for it to work. One of a set of two swords, made as a pair with Midas Talon.

Backstory:
Hazim was raised by his father for one purpose. To become the new leader of the Golden Skies Corporation and to carry to company forwards into the future. At the age of twelve Hazim was locked in a room with his twin brother and told that the door will be unlocked when only one heir remains. A hour later and the door was unlocked for Hazim to leave the room. Only Hazim left the room.

At the young age of fourteen he attended Vacuo's Shade Academy, early, to train as a Hunter. Being placed in a team of four... With two filthy Faunus. It sickened him, not only that he was on the same team as them, but that one of them was his leader. His leader! How had this happened?! Their time together as a team was far from steady. All four were constantly at odds. And it was inevitable that they would go their separate ways.

Finally graduating from the academy... At nineteen he killed his father and usurped him as the new CEO. Since then he has ruled his company and employees with a golden fist.

After his first wife fell pregnant, Hazim hired a scientist to develop a dangerous machine. The machine was designed to be used on his wife during the later stages of pregnancy. It gave Hazim direct contact to the unborn baby inside. Allowing him to alter the baby's semblance. Hazim used this on the unborn Nudara to change his semblance of wings into a protective shield. All the better to have his son at his side, keeping him safe, and serving as his executioner. Hazim had his prized first born son. After giving birth, as she lay resting, Hazim went into her room amd smothered her with a pillow. Later telling the Nudara that his mother died when giving birth to him.

Before his oldest son's birth, Hazim had a the same mechanicle scientist (from the machine he had used)make two swords for him. One sword to command, another to execute. And thus Phrrgian Grace and Midas Talon were first crafted. One to be used by Hazim himself as ruler. And the other to be used by his son, who he fully expected to serve at his side.

With his second wife, he used that machine on his second and third son too. But not on his youngest child; his daughter.

His first name, Hazim, is of Arabic origin, meaning strict regulator. Matching his position as dictator-like leader of the Golden Skies Corporation/
2) His weapon, the Phyrgian Grace, is named after the Phyrges or Phyregian; a people who lived in Southeast Europe before moving to Anatolia. Their language predates and was eventually replaced by the Greek language - further showing his use of Greek motifs in names.
3) Hazim holds references to both Arabic and ancient Greek culture. Both cultures had a colossal impact on Egypt that still affect the country to this day... Hazim is very much a Pharaoh figure. He plasters his likeness and his family's symbol wherever he can. He is immensely rich and powerful. He controls vast armies of slaves and forces them to build his empire, akin to the Hebrew slaves under Ramesses III. Similar to Cleopatra he had a young brother with a legitimate claim as heir.

A weapon that was designed and created from scratch by the hands of Zayne himself; Devil's Fangs are a pair of combat daggers that has no regular hilt but rather has a revolver on the end. The style of the handle for the dagger shows that the thumb fits into the slot at the rear of the revolver while the pinkie goes towards where the trigger is. Due to the style the weapon is held, the blade of the combat dagger is to be held backwards allowing the user to make quick and successful swipes with the blade while when clashed with another blade allowing the user to be able to fire the revolver up close.

While his semblance requires his opponent to attack him or for him to be in the immediate danger zone of an explosion or any sort of attack whatsoever; Zayne's semblance allows him to somewhat 'absorb' the attack or explosion and redirect it an the immediate direction in front of him. If there was gunfire towards him, he is able to absorb the very Dust bullets before firing it right back in front of him with the same amount of deadly force. Explosions however does not allow him to recreate the explosion in front of him yet he is able to recreate the very shockwave of the explosion where he wishes in front of him up to several meters ahead of him; even if it may not burn off the flesh of his enemy it can still easily blow apart objects or destroy limbs. Physical attacks on the other hand, requiring tom actually take the very damage onto his physical body; if he is able to see his target, he can recreate that very same wound and pain upon his enemy in front of him in a mere instant.

Due to how many Grimm he has been injected over the timespan of the entire Project and even with the continued experiments he does upon himself after the fall of the experiment, the pain he suffers is far greater than any ordinary damage so when the same pain is returned onto his opponent it is similar to the feeling of being attacked as though one barely had Aura since he possess little of it from all the Grimm.

After injecting himself with one Grimm after another and being able to sync with them, Zayne has come to the point he no longer needs the use of Dust as much as Huntsmen or even the military. So instead of using Dust as his main source of ammunition, he tends to shoot white spikes that come from the palm of his hands or his very fingertips; these spikes are capable of exploding or piercing through solid steel walls with ease. The spikes are comparable to those that protrude from Grimm bodies. The few times he does use Dust just so that he is not identified immediately as to what or who he is; he tends to use a variety of different sorts of Dust though his most common is usually lightning.

With the number of Grimm that reside within him it comes at a cost that Zayne has a smaller Aura pool compared to others however to make up for it, he is also able to regenerate from wounds inhumanly quick as well as regrow limbs even after they are severed.
With how long he has been joined with many other Grimm, he is also able to call out with a shriek or howl that can echo along nearly a 50-80mile radius that can attract the attention of all sorts of different Grimm to come to his particular location. Although he cannot control what they do, he is able to subdue those who dare attempt to attack him.

Xanthias's Semblance allows him to weaken metal of all types when he touches it. For instance, if a metal pipe is swung at him while active, he can catch it and crumble the pipe into a ball as if it were paper, hence the name. It only works if the metal is in his hands. Staying true to his name as a Sun Child, Aelius has characteristic blond hair, fiery crimson eyes, and a smile bright (or menacing) enough to outshine the rays of the sun. His eyes change to a sea green coloration whenever he activates his semblance. He stands at about 6 feet and 6 inches and due to his consistent training, he's developed a well built physique. Oftentimes, he could be seen wearing a bartender suit, a keepsake from his father, when not in training or in combat. He has several spare suits so it shouldn't come as a surprise if he seemingly wears the same clothes every day.

Backstory:

Aelius, or Ael (pronounced similarly as Ale) was born in a small village on the outskirts of Vale. His father, Helyon was the village blacksmith while his mother, Aqua, is the village herbalist. He was the middle child among 3 siblings, with an older sister, Ilyas, 7 years older and a younger sister, Lucifina, 3 years younger than Ael. Since the village was located on the outskirts of the city, Ael's father thought it was mandatory for his son to learn how to fight. So, at the tender age of 5, Helyon began training his son in the ways of the sword. As he grew up, Ael thought it to be highly unusual how a blacksmith was so proficient in combat that he managed to teach him not only the basics of combat but also some advanced techniques as well. When asked, his father would always reply that "the good blacksmith is someone who can make a fine blade, the better blacksmith is someone who can use that fine blade, but the best blacksmith is someone that can understand that blade".

When Ael was age 13, Helyon left the village along with some merchants on their way to Malden. He had thought that his father would simply be delivering his wares to the kingdom but, after a few days trip turns into a month-long disappearance, Ael's family began to worry about Helyon's safety. A few days later, a letter sent by the merchants arrived at the Cedomir family residence stating how Helyon's caravan was suddenly attacked by a horde of Grimm while they were only a few kilometers away from the kingdom. Helyon survived the encounter and is currently recuperating in a hospital in Malden but he had lost an arm and a leg during the grimm attack. Still, Ael thought that luck wouldn't even begin to describe it, considering how his father managed to get away with only those injuries. So he decided to confront his mother about the real identity of his father. She revealed that the Cedomir family was indeed a family of Huntsmen turned blacksmiths whose lineage could be traced back to the early days of the kingdoms. Helyon, however, decided to take the path of a Huntsman just like their family's founding father. He would escort travelers to villages all over the kingdom, even without any compensation whatsoever. However, after meeting Aqua during one of his escort missions, he decided to settle down in his hometown and takeover the family business.

Upon learning the truth, it had seemed that a fire has been lit in Ael's eyes ever since. He would spend most of the day training. polishing the skills his father taught him and even experimenting on ways he could improve his technique. Then one day, he set out by himself to the kingdom in order to see his father and talk to him in person. Nothing could dissuade Ael from this idea so all Aqua could do was prepare her son as best as she could for the journey. Along with giving him some medicinal herbs and food, she thought that it would be best if he would also be given the Cedomir family's heirlooms, at least temporarily. Despite being ancient, and covered with rust, it was better than going outside of the village defenseless.

While on his way to the Malden, Ael was attacked by a group of Grimm, this time in the form of a pack of Beowulves. Despite his extensive training, this was still the first time he'd fight Grimm in his entire life. He had not unlocked his semblance yet, and he was only equipped with what he thought to be sub-par gear. Despite this, he managed to bring down a couple of Grimm before the Alpha managed to knock away his sword. The clang of the metal against a distant rock seemed like the tolling of church bells to his funeral. Tired, wounded, and surrounded by still half a dozen beowulves including the Alpha, he was beginning to accept his untimely death. However, he heard a voice inside his head saying that as long as the light and warmth of the sun touches him, he should never lose hope.

Suddenly, he felt an unnatural warmth spread across his entire body. When he opened his eyes, Ael discovered that he was glowing, in the literal sense. A fiery, orange aura enveloped his entire body from head to toe and he felt stronger than ever before. His once rusty armor was now gleaming beautifully as if the aura returned it to its former glory. When a beowulf tried to attack him, it only took one punch to turn it to dust. Before the other four regular beowulves could try to pounce on him, he quickly outmaneuvered them and reached his sword. Upon touching the rusty blade, he watched as his aura enveloped the entire sword, cleaning the entire thing of its impurities until he was holding a well crafted, and well-balanced blade. Having made quick work of the other beowulves, only the Alpha remained, but whenever Ael tried to get close, it would continue to distance itself from the shining knight. Out of sheer frustration, Ael focused on his sword and swung it with all his might towards the Alpha, despite the grimm being at least twice the distance away from his sword. All of a sudden, a beam of burning energy erupted from the sword and was sent hurling towards the Alpha who didn't have time to let out even so much as a yelp before it disintegrated into ashes and smoke.

After the victorious battle, Ael hurried over to Malden in high spirits. However, great power comes at a cost and he soon learned the cost of that power later that night. Just when he was only a kilometer away from reaching the city, he felt his strength suddenly leave his body. He knew losing consciousness here, alone would be tantamount to suicide but alas he could no longer fight his exhaustion.

When the first signs of daybreak came, Ael immediately woke up, disoriented, confused, and surprised to find out that not only he was alive but he was in a hospital in Malden. Right next to him, his father laughed heartily, congratulating his "stubborn" son for making it so far on his own. He told his son that a Huntsman friend of his stumbled upon Ael while he was out for an evening stroll and he brought him back to the same hospital were his father was recuperating. After his son told him everything that had happened, Ael's father was convinced that it would be for the best if he trained under an active Huntsman so he could become a full-fledged huntsman. His father convinced his friend, Ingram, to take Ael under his wing and take him to Vacuo where the hate for Huntsmen wasn't that prevalent.

For 6 long years, Ael stayed in Vacuo, training under Ingram, who, unsurprisingly was an even stricter yet more skilled than his father. During his stay with his mentor, Ael would help out in the Inn Ingram runs in Zramore, The Blasted Tree, as a waiter while Ingram hammered his lessons into Ael during their free time and even take him out on routine "Hunting Missions" around Vacuo to ensure that no powerful Grimm would threaten the one place where a Huntsman's presence is still tolerated, all while labeling it as "practical combat experience" for Ael. In Ingram Ironcurtain's tutelage, he learned not only to fight more effectively but also to use his semblance more efficiently. He had taught him that one should not rely on one's semblance in battle and must find other means to win, specially when Ael's semblance had such a nasty side effect when used excessively.

Rifle Form


Hexcalibur Solstice: The Sword of Radiant Victory - the sister sword of a legendary blade that was used to win a great war from ages past, it was bestowed as a gift by its maker to the Cedomir family's ancestors and has been an heirloom ever since. Strangely enough for an "ancient artifact" it is equipped with functions that are akin to today's technology.

The first function, or mode, is the standard sword-function. The edge of the blade is sharp enough to cut through most Grimm like butter except those with tough armor. However, the true function of the sword is to act as a vessel for the energy absorbed by Ael's semblance until it is dispersed either by being coated around the blade or being launched like a beam.

The secondary function, or mode, is the rifle-function which allows regular bullets and dust-bullets to be integrated into the blade to serve as ammunition. The effects vary depending on the type of ammunition used though he normally carries only fire, ice, and steam cartridges.

Semblance:

Burning Daylight - an ability that amplifies Aelius' abilities starting at dawn and peaks during noon but is completely useless at night. During combat, his strength, speed, and agility are increased significantly. It also allows him to recover from non-fatal wounds. Additionally, this semblance also enables Ael to assimilate the burning heat of the sun to his blade, encasing it in an energy field. This field could be extended up to twice the length of the blade and can also be shot out like a beam, although it takes 3 minutes before Ael could use this ability again. Needless to say, this ability drains a significant amount of his aura so he uses it sparingly.

However, overwhelming fatigue envelops him during the night as if his body's strength had left him. This ranges from feeling rather tired or gloomy to flat out passing out the moment the last bit of sunshine disappears for the day. The longer and the more he overexerts himself with this semblance, the more intense the pervading feeling of fatigue he experiences during evening.

After training with Ingram Ironcurtain for a number of years, he was able to learn how to localize his semblance to only affect certain parts of his body so if he ends up only projecting his semblance on that particular part on that day, he would only feel fatigue on that part.

Due to the adverse side effects of his semblance, Ael only uses it sparingly. When he does use it, he takes great care not to overexert himself fearing the consequences of pushing his semblance's limit without the assurance of making it to a safe place he could stay for the night.

(If you're familiar with the fate franchise, yes, this is Gawain's Numeral of the Saint skill. If you're also familiar with The 7 Deadly Sins/Nanatsu no Taizai, this is also Escanor's ability though I know how OP he is so I'm saying right now Ael wouldn't come close to being that OP)


Aura Color: Fiery Orange Flames

Dust: Ael mainly uses Fire, Ice, and Steam Dust in the form of Dust bullets for his weapon's Rifle form and vials for his weapon's Sword form. Thus, he makes sure that he has an adequate supply on him at all times. However, he also keeps other types of dust since he believes that one could never truly know when they may come in handy.

Talents:

Weapon Maintenance- While his skills aren't comparable to his father, Ael does know a thing or two about maintaining his equipment in tip top shape, having grown up in a family of blacksmiths after all. He always makes sure his blade and his in peak condition since he is quite aware that


Herbalist - Ael's mother also taught him not only how to distinguish between edible, medicinal, and poisonous herbs but also how to mix them to give various effects. Although modern medical treatment is still by far more effective than anything he could mix up, it's still a handy skill when one runs out of meds in the field specially during emergencies. Lately, he's also started experimenting with integrating edible and medicinal herbs in his drinks to give off more nutritional benefits to his patrons and is close to coming up of a recipe for a drink that doesn't give hangovers the next morning.

Multiple Weapon Mastership - Ingram trained Ael not to rely on wielding a single weapon but instead familiarize himself at the very least with handling a wide variety of melee and ranged weaponry. He has done so to the point that he could also incorporate his semblance into them but they usually break after one use since they weren't designed to function in such a way like Hexcalibur Solstice.
Hobbies:


Barhopping - Whenever he has free time, he likes to visits the bars of fellow bar owners in Zramore to catch up with them, and try out their drinks to gain inspiration for new drinks he plans to add to the inn's menu.

Reading - Another one of his past time, Ael likes to read a wide variety of material but generally prefers fiction stories involving knights.

Training - Despite jumping from being a full time into a part-time Huntsman, Ael firmly believes in not allowing his skills to rust even for a moment. He devotes a few hours every day into training not only his swordsmanship but also unarmed combat and semblance control.

Despite his extensive training, this was still the first time he'd fight Grimm in his entire life. He had not unlocked his semblance yet, and he was only equipped with what he thought to be sub-par gear. Despite this, he managed to bring down a couple of Grimm before the Alpha managed to knock away his sword. The clang of the metal against a distant rock seemed like the tolling of church bells to his funeral. Tired, wounded, and surrounded by still half a dozen beowulves including the Alpha, he was beginning to accept his untimely death. However, he heard a voice inside his head saying that as long as the light and warmth of the sun touches him, he should never lose hope.

Suddenly, he felt an unnatural warmth spread across his entire body. When he opened his eyes, Ael discovered that he was glowing, in the literal sense. A fiery, orange aura enveloped his entire body from head to toe and he felt stronger than ever before. His once rusty armor was now gleaming beautifully as if the aura returned it to its former glory. When a beowulf tried to attack him, it only took one punch to turn it to dust. Before the other four regular beowulves could try to pounce on him, he quickly outmaneuvered them and reached his sword. Upon touching the rusty blade, he watched as his aura enveloped the entire sword, cleaning the entire thing of its impurities until he was holding a well crafted, and well-balanced blade. Having made quick work of the other beowulves, only the Alpha remained, but whenever Ael tried to get close, it would continue to distance itself from the shining knight. Out of sheer frustration, Ael focused on his sword and swung it with all his might towards the Alpha, despite the grimm being at least twice the distance away from his sword. All of a sudden, a beam of burning energy erupted from the sword and was sent hurling towards the Alpha who didn't have time to let out even so much as a yelp before it disintegrated into ashes and smoke.

After the victorious battle, Ael hurried over to Malden in high spirits. However, great power comes at a cost and he soon learned the cost of that power later that night. Just when he was only a kilometer away from reaching the city, he felt his strength suddenly leave his body. He knew losing consciousness here, alone would be tantamount to suicide but alas he could no longer fight his exhaustion.

When the first signs of daybreak came, Ael immediately woke up, disoriented, confused, and surprised to find out that not only he was alive but he was in a hospital in Malden. Right next to him, his father laughed heartily, congratulating his "stubborn" son for making it so far on his own. He told his son that a Huntsman friend of his stumbled upon Ael while he was out for an evening stroll and he brought him back to the same hospital were his father was recuperating. After his son told him everything that had happened, Ael's father was convinced that it would be for the best if he trained under an active Huntsman so he could become a full-fledged huntsman. His father convinced his friend, Ingram, to take Ael under his wing and take him to Vacuo where the hate for Huntsmen wasn't that prevalent.

For 6 long years, Ael stayed in Vacuo, training under Ingram, who, unsurprisingly was an even stricter yet more skilled than his father. During his stay with his mentor, Ael would help out in the Inn Ingram runs in Zramore, The Blasted Tree, as a waiter while Ingram hammered his lessons into Ael during their free time and even take him out on routine "Hunting Missions" around Vacuo to ensure that no powerful Grimm would threaten the one place where a Huntsman's presence is still tolerated, all while labeling it as "practical combat experience" for Ael. In Ingram Ironcurtain's tutelage, he learned not only to fight more effectively but also to use his semblance more efficiently. He had taught him that one should not rely on one's semblance in battle and must find other means to win, specially when Ael's semblance had such a nasty side effect when used excessively.

Hexcalibur Solstice: The Sword of Radiant Victory - the sister sword of a legendary blade that was used to win a great war from ages past, it was bestowed as a gift by its maker to the Cedomir family's ancestors and has been an heirloom ever since. Strangely enough for an "ancient artifact" it is equipped with functions that are akin to today's technology.

The first function, or mode, is the standard sword-function. The edge of the blade is sharp enough to cut through most Grimm like butter except those with tough armor. However, the true function of the sword is to act as a vessel for the energy absorbed by Ael's semblance until it is dispersed either by being coated around the blade or being launched like a beam.

The secondary function, or mode, is the rifle-function which allows regular bullets and dust-bullets to be integrated into the blade to serve as ammunition. The effects vary depending on the type of ammunition used though he normally carries only fire, ice, and steam cartridges.

Semblance:

Burning Daylight - an ability that amplifies Aelius' abilities starting at dawn and peaks during noon but is completely useless at night. During combat, his strength, speed, and agility are increased significantly. It also allows him to recover from non-fatal wounds. Additionally, this semblance also enables Ael to assimilate the burning heat of the sun to his blade, encasing it in an energy field. This field could be extended up to twice the length of the blade and can also be shot out like a beam, although it takes 3 minutes before Ael could use this ability again. Needless to say, this ability drains a significant amount of his aura so he uses it sparingly.

However, overwhelming fatigue envelops him during the night as if his body's strength had left him. This ranges from feeling rather tired or gloomy to flat out passing out the moment the last bit of sunshine disappears for the day. The longer and the more he overexerts himself with this semblance, the more intense the pervading feeling of fatigue he experiences during evening.

After training with Ingram Ironcurtain for a number of years, he was able to learn how to localize his semblance to only affect certain parts of his body so if he ends up only projecting his semblance on that particular part on that day, he would only feel fatigue on that part.

Due to the adverse side effects of his semblance, Ael only uses it sparingly. When he does use it, he takes great care not to overexert himself fearing the consequences of pushing his semblance's limit without the assurance of making it to a safe place he could stay for the night.

(If you're familiar with the fate franchise, yes, this is Gawain's Numeral of the Saint skill. If you're also familiar with The 7 Deadly Sins/Nanatsu no Taizai, this is also Escanor's ability though I know how OP he is so I'm saying right now Ael wouldn't come close to being that OP)


Aura Color: Fiery Orange Flames

Dust: Ael mainly uses Fire, Ice, and Steam Dust in the form of Dust bullets for his weapon's Rifle form and vials for his weapon's Sword form. Thus, he makes sure that he has an adequate supply on him at all times. However, he also keeps other types of dust since he believes that one could never truly know when they may come in handy.

Weapon Maintenance- While his skills aren't comparable to his father, Ael does know a thing or two about maintaining his equipment in tip top shape, having grown up in a family of blacksmiths after all. He always makes sure his blade and his in peak condition since he is quite aware that


Herbalist - Ael's mother also taught him not only how to distinguish between edible, medicinal, and poisonous herbs but also how to mix them to give various effects. Although modern medical treatment is still by far more effective than anything he could mix up, it's still a handy skill when one runs out of meds in the field specially during emergencies. Lately, he's also started experimenting with integrating edible and medicinal herbs in his drinks to give off more nutritional benefits to his patrons and is close to coming up of a recipe for a drink that doesn't give hangovers the next morning.

Multiple Weapon Mastership - Ingram trained Ael not to rely on wielding a single weapon but instead familiarize himself at the very least with handling a wide variety of melee and ranged weaponry. He has done so to the point that he could also incorporate his semblance into them but they usually break after one use since they weren't designed to function in such a way like Hexcalibur Solstice.

Barhopping - Whenever he has free time, he likes to visits the bars of fellow bar owners in Zramore to catch up with them, and try out their drinks to gain inspiration for new drinks he plans to add to the inn's menu.

Violetta was an accidental pregnancy born to young teenage parents; the result of a sexual rendezvous that was supposed to be a one-time thing. At some point during the pregnancy, a deal was made between her parents and both grandparents on each side. Violetta's mother's side of the family had been passing down a beloved company for many, many years to the first son born to the beneficiary. However, the recent beneficiary has only been able to have daughters despite his and his wife's best efforts, and he refuses to be the one to break the 200 year long all male inheritor line. If the two could give him a grandson to pass the company down to, then both companies would be in their inheritance. However, if they have a daughter, they will receive nothing and will have to learn not just self-sacrifice, but hard work for minimal payoff.

Nine months passed, a little girl with grandpa's two-toned hair was born. Since that day, Violetta's parents were stripped of their financial and materialistic privileges and forced to fend for themselves. Both sides of the family saw to it that Violetta remained in the family despite her selfish and immature parents trying to relinquish parental rights to an orphanage to put their daughter for adoption. However, they never made it far in the process without either side of the family stepping in. Both sides helped the young parents when it was absolutely necessary, but aside from the bare minimum, Violetta's parents were on their own.

Gradually, they learned more about responsibility and caring for their daughter. Her father had to work in factories or caves to make a decent enough living while her mother worked part-time jobs in retail environments. Violetta's parents lived paycheck to paycheck, with barely any funds left for food or entertainment. Violetta was made to find other means of entertainment as a child, such as dancing, singing, and trying out different recipes she thought of using cheaper than dirt ingredients.

As a child, Violetta did not have phones, television, or anything considered luxuries since her family couldn't afford it. So, in order to pass time, she picked up many hobbies that she can do for free. She did have access to these electronics when she stayed with her grandparents, though she didn't grow addicted to such things. At around 10 years old, Violetta was given a guitar as a birthday gift that her father had managed to get for a bargain (so he said). She learned it was a hunter's weapon and, for fun, decided to practice combat. Violetta realized she loved it and would train herself to become not just a better hunter, but a better guitarist on top of that with lessons from ex-hunters and musicians that took pity on her.

One day, her parents introduced her to the Aura Grimm project and manipulated her into believing that this would benefit all of them. Violetta, loving her parents more than she loved herself, agreed to be sold as a test subject.

She survived the project and escaped; however, when she returned home everything was abandoned save for clothing, food, and valuables. Violetta searched around and discovered that her room had been left untouched. Her guitar, her clothing; everything was still there. She took what she could carry and decided to travel in search of her parents. To this day, she'd been traveling on her own.

Oktave carries amplification and dust strings that propel massive sound waves through the amps located at the end of the instrument's front. The sound waves itself could be left bare or amplified with dust should Violetta play a dust string. The weapon works for short and long ranged situations but is completely useless for stealth situations. The ends of the guitar are sharp and works like a pitchfork, but other than that this weapon must be at its loudest to be at its best.

((Note: The guitar is actually capable of playing Acoustic, the problem is the volume knob cannot turn past a certain point but Violetta doesn't know this.))

Semblance:



Oktave's Earthquake - Violetta's semblance allows her to create earthquakes that rate 8.0 on the Magnitude Scale reaching to about 200 feet circumference with her at the center. However, she will not be able to move during the use of her semblance, which means she is also prone to the damage she causes. Overuse will result in severe motion sickness which will cause lightheadedness and stomach upset.

Areas affected by the Semblance usually have purple cracks running through it that make the ground look like it has purple veins.

The longest Violetta can use this semblance in one go is 10 minutes before she projectile vomits.

Backstory:

Before shit hit the fan twenty years ago, Ingram Ironcurtain was an up and coming Huntsman who had his whole life ahead of him. Graduating at the top of his class in Beacon Academy at the tender age of 17 years old, his professors thought nothing of him other than a prodigy that quite literally came out of nowhere. With no record of anyone being a Huntsman or Huntress on both sides of the family, Ingram would have lived his life as nothing more than a normal civilian if it weren't for his semblance and his unnatural talent at controlling his aura.

By the time the Academies fell, he was one of several Huntsmen who kept fighting the good fight in hopes of stabilizing the chaos and confusion that the loss of the academies had caused throughout Remnant. As a Huntsman, he still believed in the importance of making the people know that even though the schools were no more, the product of these institutions, the people that were trained and bred to fight the creatures of Grimm were still present.

Despite his best efforts, it seemed inevitable that the age of Huntsmen would come to an end. With increasing pressure and persecution of Huntsmen and Huntresses perpetuated by the laughably false notions that they were to blame for the near fall of civilization, most Hunters were tempted into retirement. As far as every Hunter was concerned, there was one question that plagued each one of them: "Why should I fight for the very people who would burn me at the proverbial stake the first chance they get?" Other than that, without a unifying system that would allow coordinated attacks to High-Level Threat Grimm, the average Huntsman would only be able to fend off low to mid-tier Grimm by themselves.

So with that in mind, Ingram formed Camelot (CMLT), an organization composed of Elite Huntsmen and Huntresses that were dispatched to settlements where the presence of High-Level Threat have been detected. For a time, Ingram's efforts seem to have worked. While the world was busy rebuilding cities from rubble, Camelot and Hunters alike were trying to keep the threat of extinction at bay.

Ingram's bold plan worked... for a while at least. Huntsmen and Huntresses who still gave a damn about the oath they took when they donned the title and responsibilities of being a Hunter all wanted to be a part of Camelot. However, Ingram was quite strict in selecting which Huntsman or Huntress would make the cut as he had made it an ironclad rule that only the very best could make the cut and join the ranks of the 15 Knights of the Round Table. The strict selection requirements dissuaded most Huntsmen from even trying but those who made it would continue to serve the organization until they choose to retire or they fall in battle. For whatever reason a Knight designation becomes vacant, another Knight may endorse a suitable candidate. A conclave is then held between the knights wherein they decide by majority vote whether or not the candidate is worthy enough to join their ranks.

For a good chunk of their existence, Ingram and the rest of the knights preferred to work independently from other similar organizations, but after half of their ranks fell in a battle against a horde of Grimm lead by a syndicate that wanted to eliminate them and plunge the world into chaos for the sake of business, Ingram was forced to merge Camelot with the CHRM foundation as its main Assault Unit against large scale, High - Level Threat Grimm attacks, though he was adamant in maintaining the group's selection methods.

Nowadays he stays in Zramore running an unassuming inn, training the son of a former brother-in-arms, and operating his organization in the shadows.

Ingram's trusty weapon, it comes in three different forms to incorporate a variety of fighting styles.

Rail Gun Great Sword: Its primary form is perhaps its most destructive one, the Rail Gun Great Sword. While primarily used as a melee weapon, a special mechanism allows the wielder to launch devastating energy beams towards targets, eliminating the need to transform the weapon into its default range form. The energy beams are produced through the use of lightning dust, though Hard-Light dust can also be used as an alternative to fire off lasers.

By splitting the weapon into two components, an additional two forms are achieved. These are:

Shock Dagger: This dagger form is taken from the great sword's component that also houses the lightning dust crystals. The subtle design allows for clandestine use during situations that require stealth, and the "shock factor" is ensures that targets can be neutralized either temporarily or permanently. The dagger form can also be used in tandem with its counterpart, the Shotgun Sword form when used by a particularly skilled huntsman.

Shotgun Sword: The last form of Ingram's weapon, its unique design allows it to maintain the special property of the Railgun Great Sword, allowing the user the freedom and convenience to alternate between melee and ranged combat without the need to alter the form of the weapon. The shotgun uses normal slugs and buck shot ammo pellets as well as specialized dust ammunition. Ingram likes to keep stock of all conceivable dust ammunition, but prefers using fire dust and freeze dust ammunition for his shotgun.

Semblance:

Strength Concentration - Ingram can focus his entire strength into a single point on his body. This concentrated strength not only exponentially increases the amount of damage he deals to his opponents but he can also achieve various other feats with this ability. By focusing his strength towards his legs, run up vertical walls, propel himself in any direction with great speed, jump several feet in the air and eliminate "fall damage" by turning his legs into shock absorbers. The more specific the body part he chooses to concentrate his strength in, the more powerful it becomes.

Reign has black long hair, that falls down to his hips, he has warm beryl eyes, that have a slight red tint to them and rather pale pigmentation. He has a rather athletic, if short build.

He usually wears a thin, sleeveless black shirt, as well as pants and boots of the same color, all blending into one. Ge also wears a raggedy red coat, that looks like a cape more often than not, with a high collar, both to protect his face from the wind and to hide part of it. He also wears a red headband to keep sweat from rolling down his face and to keep his hair from falling in his face completely. His clothes look ragged to make him look more like a traveller who has had a few run ins with Grimm, instead of a Huntsman.

Backstory:
Reign grew up as a single child to a single mother. His father left his mother when he was around three years old and Reign never remembered growing up with two parents. His mother was a loving mother, if a comparably old one, being 41 at his birth, who supported her child in all his endeavours. However due to being naturally physically weak Reign had a hard time in the settlement he lives with.

Reign joined the Shade Academy in hopes of protecting others and making the world a safer place, as well as finally gaining strength to show he was not weak. There he became part of team GRVL (Gravel). And even in Shade Reign still got pushed around for his inherant weakness.

A little before Reign had finished his first year of training at Shade Academy, his mother fell horribly ill, and shortly after she passed away due to her sickness. This made Reign open to his team, turning to them for support. They all found a shared love of music and formed a four man rock band. Not just that but through working together they managed to finish second and third year at Shade Academy as best of their class.

Reign's backstory, revised.

Reign's life in his settlement was rarely easy. He was a weak and small child, which was less than appreciated by the other members of the settlement. Reign was often pushed around for his weakness by other kids, telling him to "man up". Furthermore, Reign could not help the settlement ad much as others could which only got him yelled at and pushed to the ground.

Reign was not allowed to develop much confidence and he was trained to keep his own ideas and opinions to himself, being told that they do not matter and are of no value.

He also developed a liking to the night. The shattered moon of Remnant and the stars always mesmerized him. The fact that in the night no one was awake to hurt him only strengthened this liking. He would lose sleep, just to look at the stars. And even to this day Reign will skip sleeping in order to gaze at the stars or if he wakes up in the middle of the night he will begin staring at them for what is left of the night. Of course this only made him even weaker and everyone else more upset with him.

At age 17 Reign was accepted into Shade Academy, having learned how to fight and survive naturally by living in the desert. There he was teamed up with another boy from Vacuo called Grapha Lucent, a fox Faunus from the Menagerie named Violet Bell and another female from Atlas named Lilac Rosemary. They were collectively known as Team GRVL (Gravel).

Reign for the first year did not interact much with his team, save for the bare necessities. He had learned from the settlement that keeping silent and just doing what he was told to do usually resulted in less trouble than if he actually tried to enjoy himself and say what he wants to.

He was furthermore vicitm of Team ASTR (Aster), more specifically their leader Ashe Lathander. She was a student originally from a wealthy family in Vale. She and her team were known as the years bullies and she specifically took a liking to kicking around Reign, both literally and figuratively. Reign, of course, did not fight back for most of the year, remembering that when he stood up for himself in the settlement the beatings would just get worse.

Reign did get enough of this treatment and tried to fight back two months after the second semester had begun. That day he returned to his team's dorm room with much more severe injuries than ever before. Before Reign would hide his injuries from his team mates, now he could not do that and when they noticed they became furious. They had simply accepted Reign as the quiet type who did not talk much, but he was still a valued part of the team to them. So the rest of Team GRVL paid Team ASTR a visit and the next day Ashe would not even dare to get near Reign.

Shortly after the incredibly charismatic Lilac made Reign her personal pet project, aiming to break his shell and make him open up to the team. She befriended him and was the first one to get a glimpse of who Reign really was. A fun loving and curious soul, with an incredibly rich internal life that he had boarded up as a shielding mechanism.

When Reign's mother fell ill he found that he now had someone else to hold onto, he still had Lilac and soon discovered that Grapha and Violet were also ready to support him in any way they could. And suddenly Reign had truly become a part of the team.

They would start to really help each other out. Reign would help the others with theoretical work, his forté, Grapha and Violet, who had slowly been falling in love with each other, helped Lilac and Reign with practical work and Lilac became the team's eyes, ears and most importantly voice. This quickly saw the four becoming the year's best team with Reign as their best member.

They also bonded over music. Violet was an enthusiastic guitarist, while Grapha had always played bass and guitar, Lilac had taken singing lessons since she was very young and Reign could only ever really persue one passion in the settlement, drumming, although Lilac discovered he had a rather nice singing voice as well, letting hims sing one or two of their songs. And so they began making music and quickly surging in popularity amongst the students, teachers and even some people from Vacuo.

As all this was going on, Reign realized that over the weeks of him really getting to know the three he had slowly fallen for the incredibly beautiful Lilac. When he finally worked up the courage to tell her she answered by giving him his first kiss.

The time passed by and it looked like Team GRVL was going to finish Shade Academy with flying colors. However, this did not last. Lilac's older sister was set to marry so she was given one week off to be with her family in Atlas.

Reign received a call from her a day after the wedding telling him how she could see herself walk down the isle to him.

After that, Lilac vanished without a trace.

No one ever heard of her and all efforts to look for her were in vein. Reign broke, he thought himself responsible for her disappearance, he thought he had hurt her somehow and now she had fled from him. His teammates tried to console him, but to no avail. And after that it did not take long for the academies to be overrun and closed down.

Violet and Grapha headed to the menagerie to live a quieter life and Reign remained as a lone nomad in the desert lands of Vacuo.

Weapons:
Traumfänger
Two twin chakrams made of a blackened steel. They can collapse back into rods, which look similar to drumsticks, for easier transportation and nonlethal combat. Each has a slot for dust built into the cross-section in the middle of the weapon.

Traumfänger were designed and made by Reign himself. They were specialized to fly extremely fast, all the while trying to remain as accurate as possible.

Albtraum
Albtraum is Reign's secondary weapon of choice, which he uses if the risk of loosing one of his Traumfängers is too great, or if he has already lost both and has no way of retrieving them. Albtraum is an old triple barrled revolver, with no special slots for dust whatsoever. The barrels have intentionally been made a little longer, so that if push comes to shove, Albtraum may be used as a makeshift club.

Reign's Semblance allows lightning fast short ranged movement. Reign can designate certain items, a piece of cloth, a weapon, a book, etc. to which he can then move at incredible speeds. The semblance can allow up to five items to be designated, Reign cannot choose living beings, even if they are without a soul, every time he designates an item while he already has five designated, his bond to one of the previously designated items is dropped. The semblance does not teleport him toward the item, it merely pulls him toward it, like a magnet pulling a nail, with such speeds that he appears to be teleporting.

Backstory: Doran was born in a small community in Vacuo, an insignificant village in comparison to the much larger, yet just as grossly underdeveloped capital. It, like the main capital of Zramore, largely relied on its inhabitants for protection and cultivation and caravans to trade for what they still needed. Some rather shoddy buildings and makeshift walls, but its smaller size kept it from being a target for very many Grimm. People, however, felt much more welcome. Wandering nomads and traders would pause at the village at times, but eventually the village was visited by ones who didn't value peace as much.

Typically, Doran's father was relied upon as the protector of the village, along with a handful of others. They weren't incapable, most having survived in Vacuo for a while, and his father was a Huntsman at one point too. It was for this reason that the attack of bandits was so surprising. Not so much the attempt, but the success. They were coordinated and powerful. The village fell within a day with most of inhabitants slaughtered and whatever goods there repossessed by the attackers. Doran survived only as he hid and waited for it to all be over, a thought that spurns conflict between his heart mind to this day..

Doran had little time to mourn, but still couldn't find it in him to simply leave. Within the next few days, he had buried his family and was discovered by a caravan who saved him from malnutrition and took him to Zramore. Doran has never truly moved passed that day, but he has adapted to life in Vacuo on his own.

As he grew older, he wisened up to the ways of the country, though it would be wrong to say he was a contributing member of society. At first he was just one of the many pickpockets and thieves scraping by in the country, but with time, experience, and his father's old weapons, he rose to something more. Some began to refer to him as a Huntsman, but that wasn't very accurate. On the one hand, Doran was more concerned with getting his coin for his work than doing a public service, and on the other, it wasn't just Grimm that he turned his blades on.

His parents' nurturing might have made Doran more aware of the lives and prosperity of others, but unfortunately he now sees things similarly to those who robbed him of his childhood. He is more concerned with how he'll scrape by than how others are finding themselves. As such, he'll do what he has to in order to prosper. Whether that makes him a Huntsman for hire, a mercenary or an opportunist wanderer that just happens to have a morphing weapon, he doesn't much care.

Weapon: Scorching Sands

Scorching Sands are dual silver scimitars with black hilts and gold-plated brown guards around one side of the handles. The butt of the weapons each have a compartment available to inject dust to enhance the blades. Each blade can alter its form into a sickle as well as compound down into two smaller, dust-fuelled shotguns.

Semblance: Afterimage

Doran's semblance allows him the formation of "afterimages" or mirages in the shape of himself. Simply put, Doran can create a brief-lasting image of himself and animate it for a moment. Typically, it is used as a "fake out" or feint in battle, appearing to move left when he instead swerves right, charge forward when he actually pulls back for distance. The afterimages can take on his full form to give the impression of animation on his full body, or on select areas, such as his arms, making feints much easier and more effective to utilize. Unfortunately, since it simply an afterimage, making physical contact with the mirage will do nothing, nor can he retain them long enough to create mock "clones" of himself. Mainly, Doran uses his semblance as a way of tricking or feinting his opponents in a fight.

Dust: Doran's main use of dust comes primarily in Scorching Sands' gun forms, using flame dust for explosive rounds or wind dust to give the weapons added piercing damage and range they normally lack. For the most part, however, Doran relies on his semblance more than the dust his weapon can use.

Backstory:
The Leicester family was one known throughout the world for their revolutionary techniques on synthesizing combined dust types from the 4 primary types, their especially potent gravity dust that is a level more refined than any other. The founders of the labs settled down on a naturally floating island on the waters west of Atlas in order to study the flotation of the landscape, the small foundation eventually grew into the sprawling floating complex today.

The complex once was solely a research foundation, but since the invasion of Grimm twenty years ago, it's purpose expanded into becoming an entertainment center for the rich that mainly resides in Atlas known as Zephyr Paradise (or ZPHR), which housed casinos, commercial centers and held prestigious events. No one knows the reason for this transformation, other than that it happened when the former heads of the family passed during the invasion and their five children took control. Acroma was the youngest of the five, his eldest brother Prisma Leicester was the leader of the family for as long as he could remember, as both of his parents passed shortly after his birth. He grew up amongst his elder siblings, who many were old enough to be his parents anyways.

Acroma's early life could be described as nearly perfect, his older brothers and sisters were so often preoccupied that they let him roam free, where he decided to become a security enforcer after finding his prodigious talent when using raw dust. Despite his aura being strong and his abilities growing with each passing day, Acroma never revealed his semblance to anyone in the public, it became a family secret, with rumors floating around that the youngest of the Leicesters was weak and didn't have a semblance at all. Though that didn't bother him, as everything has always worked out just fine, and the young man often shows being able to overcome situations where odds stacked against him seemingly by ability alone.

Life was well, but it didn't stay that way. Seemingly out of nowhere Acroma was kidnapped by Atlas officials, where he was held for ransom: the methods of dust synthesizing used by his family, and the political autonomy of Zephyr. The rest of the family refused, in an almost cold-hearted manner. "While it is unfortunate that our brother is in peril, we believe that fortune will always favor one of us, if he cannot overcome this alone, then we cannot help." It was the official response that sealed the deal. After weeks of being imprisoned, Acroma was put into the Aura Grimm project as a test subject, where he proved his family's response correct. By being one of the few that survived, as well as one of the few that escaped. Now he wanders the world, attempting to get back to his home without alerting Atlas despite their apparent abandonment of him.

Weapon:
Codex Leicester - Simple light weighted metal sheets that have gravity and hard light dust mounted upon them. The gravity dust is kept in an equilibrium balance which causes the card to continuously spin, becoming whirling blades that are nearly fast as bullets and can somewhat turn in midair by exhausting its gravity dust supply. When a target is hit the card wedges itself into a target and the hard-light dust can be activated to form various shapes, including snares, leases, and generally pointy things that cause pain.

There are 52 cards in total, while they are able to return automatically, there are situations where they well self destruct and needs to be replaced.

The cards are also crafted with the ability to bear the user's Aura, and by extension their semblance. Acroma is able to infuse them with his semblance to create a literal "good luck charm" for another person.

While it seems that Acroma has no semblance, his true ability is to manipulate his own fortune, or luck, at any given time. He has the ability to bend probability in his favor on most occasions. Despite this seeming like an all-powerful ability, it is often misunderstood. While it is able to make the user extremely lucky in a small time frame, it will bring misfortune once the effect is deactivated. The severity of the repercussions is proportional to how much and how intensely it is used. The ability will also automatically kick in to save the user from life-threatening danger, but at the expense of a long period of misfortune depending on how troubling the situation was. It also cannot turn what is impossible into something possible, it can only make what's unlikely more likely.

After confirming that the four were Huntsmen and Huntresses, the men knocked them unconscious.

When the sibling awoke, they were bound to tables in a brightly lit room. Panic settled in them as they shook as hard as they could, unable to escape the leather bonds that held them down. Sairen screamed for her parents while Lairen struggled internally, desperately trying to reach his sister. It wasn't long before people entered the room, explaining Project Grimm to them and how they would proceed with the tests. The two looked at each other, their eyes holding each other in a caring gaze moments before the people began to wheel Sairen out of the room. She screamed and reached for her brother, begging them not to separate the two, but her cries were ignored.

The long years of torture affected them greatly. Needles probed them so constantly they had grown used to the pain. When their testing deemed them fit for the real experiment, they were injected with Grimm. As a side effect of this, Lairen lost his right eye, turning his sclera black and his iris a bright purple.

The family was separated for years, not allowed to see each other while Project Grimm was still active, until a riot began to break out. Other experiments of the project began to break free of their bonds and prisons, setting themselves free. Lairen immediately took the opportunity, a fellow experiment freeing him while the staff panicked at the outbreak. After rummaging through files left out, he headed to his sister who was lifelessly laying on a table. She had grown so much in the time they were apart, but it was definitely her. He freed her limbs and lifted her face to meet his. It took a moment for her to recognize her now older and more mature brother, but it was him. Relief set in and so did the tears as they streamed down their faces. They only took a moment to hug before setting out to find their parents. It was still chaos in the facility, making it nearly impossible for them to search the entire place. Taking a look into Sairen's file, he skimmed her reports in hopes of finding something. He chanced upon the phrase, "...subject's parents were unable to survive the Grimm injections and have been disposed of," right before the sound of the guards fighting back the other subjects. There was no time to mourn now; his sister was alive and he had to protect her. The two fled the facility, concealing themselves amongst the other escapees.

The two returned to their home, which remained almost untouched since their kidnapping, but they couldn't stay. Not when those people knew where they lived. They prepared to leave, changing clothes and grabbing whatever necessary. Sairen reached under her parents bed to pull out a wooden crate. They had shown this to the siblings when they were young, but they never thought there'd be a day when they may need it. When opened, the box held Vincere Arcere and Caelestis, their parents weapons when they were still Huntsmen. They nodded to each other before fleeing once again. The two now stick together everywhere, occasionally travelling to other lands, but always returning to Vacuo, their homeland.

Lairen's weapons are dual swords which also double as a pistol. When combined, they form a shield made from dust stored in the circular part of the weapons.

Semblance: All Sight
Lairen's semblance allows him to see through glyphs that he places. These glyphs are small, about a 6 inches in diameter, and have an image of an eye in the middle. His semblance gives him sight in his right eye and shows him what is viewable from the glyph he's placed. For instance, in battle against many Grimm, Lairen could place a glyph on his own back in order to prevent surprise attacks. Though he tends to only use one glyph at a time, he's able to place up to 5, but it gets confusing and takes up an immense amount of aura. Glyphs will break in one hit.

Sairen wields two blue fans that can be used closed as a dagger. When opened, they can be used with crystals to create powerful attacks. With a swing of her fan, she can create a projectile of each respective element. With ice or wind, she is able to freeze or blow away whatever is in her path.

Semblance: Healing Hand
Sairen's semblance allows her to heal any physical wound by using the aura of another living creature. Wounds can range from small cuts to large gashes, but the larger the wounds, the longer it takes for her to heal them. In order to begin the healing process, Sairen has to physically touch the patient as well as have some type of physical contact with whoever's aura she is using. Depending on the size of the wound, the amount of aura taken from the donor varies. She is not able to use her own aura for healing, but the process of transferring a person's aura to heal another person is draining. In the case that Sairen must heal a life threatening gash on someone, she would be able to get the injured person to a stable state before passing out.

Backstory:
Manipulative, dangerous and cunning. Nudara's younger brother and always playing second fiddle. Thanian always believed he would be the far better choice as sole inheritor of their father's company. All through their childhood and teenage years together Thanian was jealous of Nudara.

When he caught wind of Nudara's operations the Faunus slave labourers in company mines, Thanian devised a plan to put an end to this and wipe Nudara from the family record in one swift move. He employed a Faunus extremist, offering jeweled dust and money to fund the White Fang. This Faunus, named Urian Lakis, was tasked with working with Nudara besiege a mine and free the labourers, but also to set explosive charges inside the mines to blow up and collapse all of the mines. The plan worked. Many Faunus and Golden Skies guards died but Nudara survived, much to Thanian's chagrin. However, their father found out about Nudara's escapades and excommunicated him from family and company. Thanaian was finally the heir to the company''s vast wealth.

Weapon: remarkably... plain... A large machete and a reinforced riot shield. Both very durable and cheap! In compairison to other complex weapons anyways. Why doesn't he have one of those complex weapons you may ask?

Semblance: Fortification, as it says, the semblance is a straight forward boon to one's defensive capabilities. Raises one's weight by roughly 5 times as well. At it's peak, one's aura could take a shot point blank from a cannon! or try and wrestle an incoming mac truck, well, you'd be able to stop it, after that, not too much. it's not strength after all, but weight dose tend to make things stop when they hit you.

Aura Color: An icey blue, reminds you of a refreshing blue raspberry snow cone.

Dust: ice dust! because you need to feel cool on a hot day.
