Futuristic Roleplay Ideas

As I scan through the roleplays on this site, I do find a lacking in futuristic, or science fiction roleplays. Of course, I have my preferences for what I'd like to play, but as a whole what themes and genres would you want to see in a group roleplay set in the future? What concepts would you enjoy playing?

- Pirate adventures in space?
- Treasure hunting in space?
- Transporting an alien princess to another alien planet for an arranged marriage that will bring peace between both worlds but oh-oh! not everyone agrees. Cue space combat!
- Discovering an abandoned ship floating through space. Why is it abandoned? Why is there no distress call? Where did everybody go? Why is it so bloody and goopy everywhere?
- A character was frozen or put in an early tech cryo-pod and wakes up to find themselves in the far future. What happened to them? Where did my family go? What does the future have to offer? What happened to earth?
- Robot rebellion?
- Alien rebellion?
- Alien invasion?
- adventures in space?

Plenty of stuff to do in space. Just throw whatever plot/concept you'd throw in fantasy stories and add lasers and aliens.
