~"It's choices that make us who we are; and in the end, define us in history for all eternity"~

In the year 1756, a great once nation known as Yula Fei made homes for some of the worlds most remarkable individuals. It was a city of peace and all whom lived within it's boarders sought only the serenity of their environment and the company of the ones they held dear. While for many years they remained undisturbed by the struggles and strife of the rest of the world, humanity is and always had been a creature of conflict and soon Yula Fei was faced with an opposition unlike any it'd known before.

1768, Princess Omoiyari declares war against the World Government after discovering their involvement with the kingdom of fire, formally known as Iliah'Adari, a nation who firmly believed Yula Fei belonged to it's own monarchy. The war lasted for five long years and many perished on both sides before a terrible fate befell the princess, whom had been successfully assassinated in the year 1772. The collapse of the monarchy lead to the downfall and deterioration in the Yula Fei forces and soon after they lost the war.

The year 1784 marked the day when the name Illiah'Adari fell beneath the boot of the World Government. The monarchy from the kingdom of fire had began to fall short due to a lack of heirs and as the monarchy died out, so did the name which had ruled side by side with the World Government. The names Yula Fei and Illiah'Adari fell into history and the great cities left behind by both nations began a gradual change over the coming years, construction work on a grand scale had their cities merge together.

1824, the World Government proclaim the merge of the once great cities complete and declare the arrival of the first ever world metropolis, calling it the 'center of the world'. Many from all over the world heard of this news and by 1845 the grand city had began to expand to compensate for the many which came form all corners of the world to exist in the constructed world they had made. At first there appeared to be a housing crisis and for three years trouble appeared to gravitate to the grand city in the form of crime and mischief.

1857, the expansion to the grand city successfully made enough homes for the new arriving populace. A policing force was issued to keep the peace, officially known as the 'WGA' or (World Government Arms). Outfitted with weaponry and new state of the art armour, units were sent into the 'poorer' areas of the city to crack down on crime and enforce laws to keep the people safe. An additional branch of officers called 'justice' were introduced shortly after, compiled of extremely skilled and powerful individuals, crime fell dramatically.

1904, a petition from the people across the city arrived on the desk of the WG officials, requesting a name befitting the metropolis, believing that the sprawling city had earned itself a name other than simply referring to it as Grand City. After many debates and deliberation between political heads and the people of the city, they finally agreed on a new name to cement the city forever in history. The metropolis was simply named, Eternity, due to it's never ceasing expansion across the world, growing year after year.

~~~~~~
One thousand years has passed and Eternity remains to be the center of the modern world. The year is now 2904 and Eternity stands as the dominant jewel of the world government which has now became the epicenter of culture itself. As the years moved on and the intellect of man grew, technology developed which broke the bonds of the natural world, politics changed with the passing years and resources slowly began to thin as the economy began to crush the poor while filling the pockets of the rich. A gap between the classes began to form more prominently and before long resentment set in between the people.
Riots and protests began to invade the city and while some were peaceful, others began to grow out of control and were quickly subdued by the WGA, furthering the political unrest among the people. The loss of control spiraled and the World Government found itself losing grip on it's grand city, which had stood for over a thousand years. The president of Eternity, a man by the name of Mendai Carol green lit an initiative to have covert operatives enter the poorer areas and slums to unleash a virus that'd cull their population.
Of course vaccines were made available to those who could afford them and the virus was constructed in such a manner that it would spread only so far before becoming benign. The intention behind this was not only to cull the 'riffraff' of the city but to also clear the way for further development for their richer inhabitants. It worked up to a point but the issue appeared to remain unresolved, poverty maintaining a hold in areas of Eternity. Before long, the gap between the rich and the poor had widened to such an effect that areas began to segregate and an oppressive hand lingered in the air.
The poor were soon denied rights and treatments, denied access to certain areas of the city and were confined instead to the poorer areas and districts, some in which even lacked a dedicated police force to maintain the peace. Only servants and maids were allowed to access the richer districts and while one might have expected the rich to have such luxuries, the terms servant and maid were pretty much cover names to allow the rich to ignore the fact they were practically slaves. Things continued to destabilise further and only in the recent years have some people decided to take a stand.
~"Wherever an oppressive hand lingers, resistance awaits to stand tall against the rain"~
People from all walks of life have gathered from corners of the city and beyond, rallying together under one banner to stand firm against the oppression. They seek to overturn this World Government and return Eternity to the once great city it had been all those years ago, to return it to the people and dissolve the gap between the rich and the poor, so that no group nor class would be disparaged. This group called themselves 'Serenity', a word which had once meant something to a nation long ago that existed in a time long forgotten.
~~Eternity~~
Molnar_Berlin.jpg
Eternity is a sprawling super city, spreading far and wide. The city is split in to various different districts, segregated for the rich and the poor. Within each and every district you can expect to find malls, shops, streets and just about everything you could expect to find in a large busy city. However the thing to note is the quality, the richer areas of course are kept clean and clear and the more expensive retailers are set up there. In the poorer districts you'll find significantly less care is given to the streets. Trash, crime and other unpleasantness await you, so be careful, especially if travelling alone. Any more information required on the city, seek out your nearest Serenity directory office.
Technology has vastly improved within Eternity. Medicine has enabled people to live significantly longer and military tech has evolved the world of combat significantly. While you may not yet find laser guns, you'll find local peacekeepers sporting armour fitted to enhance mobility and strength. Cybernetics are one of the worlds most incredible features, enabling people who have sustained severe injuries to substitute limbs with fully functioning synthetic replacements. While the days have long since passed from the days of super powered pirates, there are still individuals with exceptional abilities, though most of these individuals are quickly inducted into the Justice program or serve roles as bodyguards for high paying clients or WGA military roles.
~~WGA (World Government Arms)~~
marcel-benes-police-knight1.jpg
You'll find these officers just about everywhere in Eternity, save for a limited few areas which have been left to rot. They are incredibly tough, well funded and well outfitted to undertake a multitude of combat scenarios. When confronted with a WGA outfit, it's highly advised to either kill them fast or run. Fighting them for lengthy periods of time is dangerous and they are well trained to engage and kill anyone suspected of belonging to Serenity. They're partially augmented, including a combat enhancement that enables them to learn and adapt the longer they fight an opponent, giving them a tactical edge, it's this reason why it's necessary to kill them fast or run. While they do have a command structure, they will answers orders from Justice members without question even if it directly contradicts their chief officer.
WGA soldiers also have exclusive access to high end technology not limited to rapid response vehicles such as hover bikes and gunships. It's uncommon for such measures to be active unless the situation is just that they should require such forceful measures, but at times when presented with combatants that ground units aren't able to handle it's likely gunships and automated sentry units will be deployed to assist ground units in overcoming the opposition. It's recommended that Operators do not engage against such odds as the recorded fatality rate is staggeringly high. For more information regarding the WGA arsenal consult your CO for access to unclassified archive information.
~~Eternity Races~~
Humans - Make up the largest portion of the cities inhabitants and are found within all districts. Humans are considered to be any sentient individual with medium to low level synthetic replacement cybernetics whom still retain functional main organs such as the heart and brain. Humans generally have a life span of 120 years due to the advancement of medicine. Augments and alterations to any human that advances their physical state to exceed natural boundaries of the human body may be considered to be Augmented Humans, not to be confused with Cyborgs or Omnics.
Cyborgs - Make up another large portion of city inhabitants and are found within any and all districts. Cyborgs are considered to be humans that have extensively interchanged their organic material in favour of cybernetics and synthetic augmentation. Cyborgs generally aren't required to eat and drink and have life spans that are classified as indefinite. There are various different classifications of Cyborg from low tier D grade to high tier S grade depending on technologies implemented into the individual. Low tier Cyborgs are often made with outdated or cheap synthetic cybernetics where as high tier are equipped with newer state of the art tech.
Omnics - Make up a considerably large part of the cities inhabitants and are found within most districts. Omnics are fully sentient artificially intelligent humanoids consisting entirely of synthetic technology. These beings became prevalent following the end of the machine war which resulted in Omnic units evolving into sentient individual entities. They follow a similar grading path to Cyborgs in terms of technology outfitted inside of them, while some opt to upgrade themselves most are often a result of the year they were manufactured. Currently there's been no government involvement in terms of assisting their upkeep and maintenance, however following the end of the war a bill was passed to allow Omnics to integrate safely into society and to be considered their own people.
Mutants - Make up a moderate part of the cities inhabitants and are found only in poorer districts. Mutants are the result of contaminated areas following the virus outbreak. During the pandemic poorer districts contaminated by the virus were quarantined and the survivors were deeply effected with altered DNA cellular structures. Deformities in children both externally and intravenously are considered to be mutants and are prohibited from entering the richer districts. Mutants commonly band together in closed communities and don't often stray from within their own territories. Their kind have a poor reception with classes of upper class districts but are usually left alone by other communities.
History:
Convel grew up rough, like most kids in The Cut. He wanted to be a gangster, tried to act tough and play with the rough boys, but everytime they saw him at a party they sent him home. "You don't belong here man. You're smart." was a routine chorus in his ears. He didn't understand the favor they were doing for him until after college. Thanks to his clean record he managed to get an athletic scholarship to university and not have it taken away. He announced his eligibility for the draft but went unpicked for all 6 rounds. He was signed to a practice squad and given the chance to compete for a role with his rookie contract but in the end was never good enough to play at a professional level. With sport out of the picture he used his Criminal Justice degree after all and decided to try and go back and help out his community the right way.
For the next 5 years he worked his way up from a beat cop onto the Gang Task Force. There he learned a lot and got a taste of just how corrupt and ineffectual downtown police actually were. He did what he could to keep his nose clean, only dipping into evidence cash once or twice. He got the nickname "Scrumdog" during this partly because of his past sports career and partly because of his insistence on getting into the thick of any firefight. Eventually this bit him in the ass. He and his partner were clearing a drug stashhouse looking for a known copkiller. Convel saw the perp jump out onto the fire-escape and shouldered through the door to the room which had the balcony of the stashhouse. One grenade boobytrap later he woke up in an ambulance with a tube in his mouth and a pair of EMTs struggling to keep him alive.
The department insurance was the real life saver though. It bought him a new set of lungs and a new arm once it became clear shrapnel and infection had taken what he was born with. After that he retired from police work, struggling to get the risk and reward of a job that he knew in his heart was rigged to fail right in his head. He used the remnants of his rookie contract and the little bit of cash he had saved up to by a small storefront where he started selling antiques. He had an eye for old things, and a head for selling them at a profit.
He's still not sure exactly how his antiquing turned to gun running. It wasn't overnight, but it feels that way when he thinks about it. A business opportunity there,a blown deal there, and before you know it he was selling guns to his old childhood friends and doing his best not to think about it. The money helps, and the memories of dirty sergeants help even more. He still wants to help his community, and in a warped way, he tells himself he is.
If there was ever a prime example of how appearances could be deceiving, Naomi would be that example. Standing at a height of five foot six inches Naomi is far from what her call sign would suggest in terms of height and size. In fact most who meet her for the first time find themselves some what puzzled as fist impressions on her appearance usually show her to appear as a normal young girl with dark hair and blue eyes.
Often you'll find her dressing fairly smartly with a black jacket and yellow tie, though when off duty she'll often wear less formal attire which she finds more comfortable, wearing her hair down as opposed to the ponytail she often has instead. In extremely rare cases you might catch her wearing PJ's and lounging about but if you're able to find her in such condition then you're probably where you shouldn't be and should probably run fast.
Naomi has no tattoos, scars or markings due to one of her augmentations, however aside from clothing she does have a set of Serenity dog tags that identify her by rank and name. One of the jackets she wear also bears the Serenity insignia along with her rank and designation but as it's not convenient for field missions she rarely wears it unless attention formal events within Serenity, which is also some what of a rare occasion.
Naomi's personality is often decided by situation and circumstance. On first impressions some say she can be very moody or appear as if she's annoyed, she herself will just tell you she has 'resting bitch face', which roughly means she always looks pissed off even when she's not. To talk to she can be very pleasant and interesting company, although at times she can become some what distant if something is troubling her mind. Often she might come off as not giving a damn about mostly anything and everything though again it's dependant on what it is.
She doesn't make any attempt to hide details about herself and will generally be forthcoming about most things, whether it be her past or what she thinks about what you're wearing. She comes across honest because of this but at times she can sometimes rub people up the wrong way by being too blunt with certain things. Naomi can be stubborn, though at times she might submit depending on the situation and who it is. Naomi favours hard liquor, usually whiskeys for the burning sensation it brings her upon consumption.
Naomi has a very aggressive temper which is hard to reel in once it's provoked. Some believe it to be a result of her conditioning during her augmentation and conditioning which could have more truth than most realise. Depending on who it is, some can talk her out of a temper if they know her well enough, others will likely get ignored especially if the focus of her temper is standing right in front of her. Naomi has taken steps to minimise her temper and can sometimes be found holding a stress ball which she'll focus on when she's annoyed.
[glow= Aqua]History:[/glow]
One of many victims of various experimentation's and projects conducted by the WGA, Naomi belonged to the combatant project, developed with the aim to create a weapon that was unstoppable in the battlefield, a force that couldn't be overwhelmed that'd either hold unwavering against the odds or turn the tide with brutal force. When the paperwork for her project was laid bare in front of those whom would undertake and oversee it's progression, some opted out immediately due to the morality of what they were being asked to do.
A project designed to create a brutal combatant demanded brutal methods of improving and modifying the young orphan girl. Upon securing her limbs to a frame which stretched her to her limit, she was given a strong numbing anaesthetic to dull her pain receptors, allowing them to keep her conscious as they began to flay her skin from her body strip by strip. Despite the strong medication administered, the feeling of your skin falling away was a terrifyingly scarring experience, her screams became so much that the surgeons operating opted for noise cancelling earplugs before continuing to remove her skin.
Once the process had been completed the steel automated frame was given an input function, ordering it to systematically snap and brake her bones, twisting and folding till her body lay shattered in pieces. A few of the surgeons decided to leave the room for the process, returning only after the machine had finished it's function, others didn't even flinch, merely watching with eager interest as if curious to her reaction to the experience so they could secure before and after stress data to complete the project. To say it was agony was a gross understatement despite the medication keeping her conscious and supposedly numb.
The process after these steps worked to rebuild her, but not as she was before. Naomi's bones were altered with a titanium mesh overlay to reinforce the bone structure, making them more durable and resistant to stress. Her skin was regrown, replaced with a hypodermic metallic skin-weave injected with a regenerative biochemical overlay, making her more resistant to projectiles and impacts. Her modifications were extensive, expensive and took a lot of time and work to make functional, making her faster and stronger. But once complete the surgeons congratulated themselves on their breakthroughs in combatant weaponry.
It was not enough to succeed however, it had to be tested. Naomi was placed into a variety of situations where she was made to undertake damage, stress and pain from an aggressive force. She was placed in arena type rooms without weapons where she was repeatedly beaten by automated sentries and soldiers, all to test her modifications and weather they would hold up in battle scenarios. The results were a complete success and soon she was due to be trained in the use of her augments which had been created specifically for her project. Testing included tackling difficult combat scenarios and problem solving on the spot during high stress environments. Over time her combative aptitude and success rate improved exponentially.
When Naomi had finally reached the fruition of her project, becoming one of the first successful subjects in the combatant program whom could undertake extreme physical stress. It was shortly after this time that Naomi escaped from the research facility and broke free, having left many dead during the tough battle past the security and surgeons attempting to subdue her. Naomi spent a long time after that standing just in the periphery of notice, favouring to remain out of sight and out of mind for the sake of her freedom. It seemed that fate had other plans, when she eventually became discovered by Serenity and was offered a place in exchange for her help in their cause. Given everything that had been done to her, she was more than happy to help.
A pious and holy man, Zadok is always ready to serve, not only for his Machine-God but as well as the people of the city. He is attentive and quiet, his mind calculating the outcomes of dozens of possibilities before answering. Blessed with augmentations all across his body, from a mechanical heart that steadily flowed a mixture of blood and oil throughout his body, to entirely replacing the bottom half of his body. The most radical change being a complete replacement of the right-half of his brain while also heavily augmenting the remaining intact half of the organ. As such, in times of stress or need, he can entirely disable his emotions and run on pure logic of the machine. Nevertheless, he remains to be a gentle soul who strives to listen to his human emotions as well as that of his faith.
History:
Growing up, Zadok had lived in a semi-affluent and distinctly middle-class district of Eternity. His family were members of the Cult of the Machine and so he followed in their footsteps. In his youth, he was attending the prestigious University of Eternity on a scholarship awarded by the Cult to study engineering. However, just as he was finishing his final year, the soulless had finally reached the point of sentience and the machine war had begun.
Like many young Mechanites, he felt the holy call to fight against profaned Men of Iron and joined the Crusade. Zadok received many blessings to his form, making him faster, smarter, stronger. It was also this time that his own dormant power began to awaken as if favored directly by his Machine-God.
But, the war came to an end, and unfortunately, the Cult lost. Instead of obliterating their blasphemous foes, they were forced to not only call off hostilities. Not only were they forced to acknowledge their right to existence, but to the point of acknowledging them as equals. The Cult, particularly the Crusaders, were filled with a righteous and furious rage, but they knew they could not win against the combined forces of the World Government and the newly liberated Omnics.
Zadok, while ultimately angry at the realization that all the war-effort and all the sacrifices made were for nothing, he found peace and purpose in the sacred and cooling logic of the sanctified machine and joined the secretive spiritual leaders of the Cult, the heavily modified Techno-Priests.
As the century rolled by, and after witnessing the aftermath of countless atrocities, many Cult members were becoming disillusioned with the peace promised by the World Government and some were bold enough to join the resistance of Serenity, despite the low calculated odds of success or survival. The Cult's organization itself is not involved with Serenity and deliberately distances themselves from Serenity members as a way to not draw the ire of the WGA.
Weaponry: Hand-crafted Galvanic pistol. A trademark of the Cult's, Galvanic Weaponry uses a galvanic cell, or voltaic cell, (in layman's terms, a battery) to magnetically propel bullets at great speed and force. In essence, Zadok's galvanic pistol is a small battery-powered railgun.
309px-PhosphorSerpenta.jpg
Powers: In addition to his heavily augmented body, enhanced senses, and cyborgized brain, Zadok possesses the ability to channel the Motive Force through a process that was once traditonally called 'Power of Destruction'. This holy force that gives motion to all moving things and it is both fueled and empowered by his raw emotions. Of course, that means that the more he relies on logic and machine-code, and the more he suppresses his emotions, the weaker the power becomes.
Abilities: Enhanced senses, empathetic responses to machines, highly skilled and knowledgeable engineer with a specialization in cybernetics, and all the benefits that having a body made mostly from steel brings.
As all who participated in the Veslin Uprising (or North Veslin District Policing Action as it is officially accounted in the WGA sanctioned historical records), and who also managed to escape the brutal aftermath, he's a closed and private person. Time passing, he came to realize what actually happened back then when the rest of Eternity did not join in their uprising against unjust authority of the WGA. All those bloody selfless sacrifices made no difference in moving the hearts of the citizens, all the calls for help went unanswered. As such, he deemed everyone in Eternity guilty of the tyranny WGA perpetrates, some through collaboration, some through complacency. It's hard to get past his outer shell as he sees everyone he doesn't know as another WGA pawn. If deemed worthy, however, one would find a loyal, jovial and resourceful friend in him.
Likes: Sweet things, banter, music so loud one can't hear their own thoughts, confectionery magazines
Dislikes: Musilin Regiment (a military unit that infamously participated in policing and cordoning the Veslin Rebellion), introspection, lack of distractions, large chain restaurants
History: While he personally is very secretive about his past (or rather, simply doesn't talk about it, despite the occasional effort to pry it out of him,in one case quite literally), everyone doing anything leaves behind indirect clues, whether they wish to or not. After the Uprising was crushed, Eternity was flooded by revolutionaries, hoping to hide in the masses. As the trials with the more prominent leaders of the uprising started, these hidden cells started to organize breakouts and raids on WGA prisons. They hoped to rile up the Eternity's lower classes for their fight nce more, but the locals did not see their fight as their own, and ignored the pleas and agitations. WGA and what remained of the Serfs clashed, and WGA easily won. The revolutionaries was rounded up and promptly either locked up or summarily executed.
Heidryn is known to have arrived with the first waves of the rebels, instantly labeling him a participant in the Uprising. However, how did he avoid being caught with the remainder of the rebels during the final struggle to free the rebellion's leaders is hard to explain. Perhaps he did not wanted to help, perhaps he was actively informing the WG on the rebels.
As for his even deeper past, its impossible to say. The public records of the Veslin District were destroyed, along with half of the district proper, during the fighting. The man shows odd fondness for small corner-of-the-street sweetshops, and there is a citation and a paid fine for vandalism on two franchises of the chain restaurant corporation NutriGourm.
Weaponry: Vz/88v "Samovar" assault rifle
The Rebellion would need weapons to defend itself, so it would last long enough for the message to spread and people all across Eternity would rise up with their Veslin brothers and sisters. The Samovar was made to be reliable and easy to manufacture. Most of the components are designed to be 3D printed or stamped, in order to absolutely minimize requirement for machining and other high grade precision tools. This would lead to wide range of manufacturing quality, depending on what kind of tools and skills this or that machine shop had available during the Rebellion. The weapon design allowed for this, sacrificing accuracy for reliability if need be.
Most of the pieces that flooded the black market after the quelling of the rebellion looked and performed like they were forged from shovels, but Hanlon's is a beautifully hand-crafted pinpoint accurate exemplar that shows what the design can do if manufactured with tender loving care.
It's hard not to notice the bright smile he has. It's friendly and inviting and almost contagious. After the smile, his purple tinted hair might be a little peculiar, but seeing so many cybernetics and heavily armored people- and mutants even, it's not too much of a big deal. One could ask about it, but they'd be left without answers.
Moving past his face, the next two noticeable things are his tattoos. On his left shoulder there's a star with a ribbon coiling down to his elbow. The star itself is imbedded with circuitry instead of ink, but glows blue in the dark. Just above his heart is an elephant skull. When asked about what the tattoos mean to him, he never gives one solid answer- and if he does, it's usually him saying "because it looks cool".
Outfit wise there's nothing really spectacular to show. He sticks with dark clothing, usually with a hoodie or a pull over to look like the average person on the block. One distinguishable item he keeps with him are cordless headphones that are capable of lighting up in different colors. It's not clear if they're actually connected to a device or not, but every now and then it seems like he's listening to something.
Personality: JD's personality can be described as: Protective. It could also be described as somewhere between lawful and chaotic good. For the people he cares about the most, he's willing to do everything it takes to make sure they're okay and content. As eager as he is to help, sometimes he may get a bit carried away. He also tends to be a bit too eager to please, even if he doesn't realize it, but it tends to make him a little naive and easily manipulated.
He's usually friendly and outgoing, but tends to adapt to the person near him. If they're chill, he's chill. If they're wild, well he's partying too. He's a wild card that's for sure.
History: With the World Government turning a blind eye on those who needed help the most, a group that started as just a whisper became more well known. It was a group that had many names, and sometimes no name at all, but their most recent and more permanent name has become: The Ivory Skulls. Some call them descendants of criminals and others call them the modern day Robin Hoods… and well, both would be true. The group of freedom fighters was rumored to have been created by descendants of a rebel, a criminal in her own right that rose to power and decided to make use of it. But no one talks about that history anymore. How could they when their current time and their futures were as shaky as they were?
Jason Deszo may not have been the one to create the Ivory Skulls, but his parents and from what he's been told generations before them have been apart of and even helped create the group. There was no way he planned to break the chain, especially not at a time like this. He grew up helping people and at this rate, he'll die helping people.
He'd say there was nothing truly spectacular about his life, and yet he'd constantly lead charges to steal from the rich and help the poor.
JD is more of a close combat fighter and uses metal escrima sticks that double as a bo staff.
Powers & Abilities: It was the perfect heist against some uptight rich folks that day. JD remembers the auctioneer selling a valuable antique vase- worth millions, and just behind the stage had been boxes upon boxes of other valuables and goods, but most importantly: Money securely- guarded of course. It was all a blur of adrenaline and near death experiences- which wasn't all that new for the Ivory Skulls.
He still, till this day, doesn't know why they'd put something as powerful as a fruit that gave people powers with a bunch of money, but here he was today. JD was 'gifted' with the "Electric Electric Fruit". While it's not as strong as lightning itself, he's able to conduct and redirect currents of electricity, using it to effectively taser/electrocute people. He can also use his electricity to create small orbs that can essentially be used as electric bombs. While he mostly uses his power on the offensive, it's also helpful in the defensive like absorbing shock or, simply cutting off power.
Typically, he uses his escrima sticks as a conductor, effectively making them tasers.
There's drawbacks to controlling electricity however:
  • When he uses too much energy, he quite literally needs to recharge, whether it be passing out/sleeping or dramatically using a defibrillator on him.
  • He's only tried to control lightning once, it didn't go too well. He couldn't control it and it caused him to go into a temporary paralysis for a week along with the more permanent damage of a (now) slightly unnoticeable shake in his hands. He doesn't like to talk about it. (Maybe he'll learn in the future)
  • EMPs make him nauseous- he's still not sure if it's some sort of placebo effect because he's 100% sure he's not a machine.
  • Also, of course, he can't swim now.
Other:
  • Hardcore Parkour - JD loves the thrill
  • Never introduces himself by his actual name; lots of people don't know his real name because of this
  • Can and will charge electronics for people
  • Has a few nervous ticks
  • Hard time focusing at times
  • Sometimes uses his headphones as a center of focus in crowded areas so he doesn't accidentally short circuit random devices. Usually when he puts his headphones on it's a sign of him trying to focus a little better. How you know it's on: The colors start changing.
  • Don't worry, he can still hear you.
Name: Sierra Khunalki
Alias: TBD
Age: 20
Gender: F
Race: Augmented human
Appearance: Skin tone is light tan and her natural hair color is dark brown, noticeable at the roots. However, she prefers her pine green color. She boasts the simple studded eyebrow piercing but no tattoo on her chin. The right side of her face and eye has been replaced with reinforced augments, no extra special functions, except a normal human can crush their hand against that side and her eye is slightly brighter than her left.
(Except the gun)
Height: 5'8''
Weight: Underweight
Eye Color: Golden brown
Personality: Above all, Sierra lives her every moment, every emotion, to its fullest. She believes in holding nothing back and this has fostered a rather brash and "fight me" attitude that people rarely see beyond, which, coincidentally, suits her just fine for she loves nothing more than to fight. She lives her high moments the same as her lows, and therefore can be prone to severe mood swings, bouncing off walls one day and growling at anyone who comes too close the next. When angered, she has a tendency to lash out, and some people assume she's an immature, brazen youngster who lives in a world of her own fantasy more than reality.
However, her erratic persona belies a surprisingly empathetic nature. She never turns from someone who's being abused or suffering, and is always trying to help out, even when she has no idea what to do. Sometimes it makes matters worse, but Sierra stops at no lengths to make it up to the person in question. This altruistic streak seems to be her saving grace, as she'll even help those who she once consider arch enemies, and has won her a decent amount of friends or, at least, acquaintances.
At the end of the day, she's loyal and fierce, if over the top, and will always have your back in a firefight.
History:
- Born into a large, but very poor family that lived in one of the factory districts. The Khunalkis and extended family live in an abandoned factory that they use to maintain a soup kitchen for the poor in their area. They are overall known as a hard-working and helpful clan to their community.
- Sierra was known as an unruly yet lively kid who endeared as many people as she pissed off
- At age 14, she was caught in a mass explosion along with her older sister, Meera, at a checkpoint between theirs and a wealthy district. The circumstances that led the two siblings there are unknown as Sierra retains no memory of the event, and Meera died in the accident.
- Sierra lost her arms, right eye, and suffered severe burns to her legs and face.
- The Khunalki's managed to pay for skin graphs and low-tiered augmentations to her face and legs, placing them in steep debt, without anyway to afford new limbs for their daughter. A saving grace came in the form of a retired Serenity operative, turned mechanic and handyman for the organization, who lived near the Khunalkis and offered assistance at no charge, knowing their charitable efforts. This man became a mentor to Sierra over the following years, teaching her all she knows about machines and engineering, along with self-defense techniques.
- As she grew older, Sierra became involved many fights, channeling her trauma into underground rings to gain money for her family, while others led her to jail or nearly getting killed. Only her father's minimal pull within the WGA, being a regular officer himself, kept Sierra from becoming permanently incarcerated...or worse.
- This violent streak ultimately led her mentor to talk to Serenity, believing her raw potential would be an asset to the organization...under the right leadership.
Weaponry: Her fists and the metal in her environment
Powers: Her augmented arms contain prototype technology of her mentor's and her own collaborations. Her arms enable her to change the polarity of most metals, creating a "push-and-pull" affect that allows minimal directional control. This tech also serves to enhance her strength, allowing to lift the equivalent of a semi with the help of magnetism. While without these capabilities, her prosthetic limbs still pack a hard punch, anything without metal can be as heavy and unmovable to her as anyone else.
Abilities:
- Self-taught collection of hand-to-hand combat, most from underground street fighting
- Mechanic
Other:
- Mother: Okra, age 52
- Father: Demetros, age 53 (estranged)
*All siblings share similar dark brown hair and light to medium tanned skin. Catos and Sierra have the gold eyes of their mother; the rest share Demetros's brown eyes
- Siblings:
+ Catos, age 32
+ Meera, age 28 (deceased)
+ Arnos, age 25
+ Delos, age 24
+ Yulivera, age 14
Height(Sven): 6'1
Height(Hana):5'8
Weight(Sven): 187lbs
Weight(Hana): Hana- "None of your business." Sven- "She's heavier than I am 191lbs, you just can't tell with her loose clothes"
Eye Color(Sven): Hazel
Eye Color(Hana):Purple, Red when scanning.
Personality(Sven): Sven is a mad scientist, he loves pushing the boundaries of morality to further his own knowledge. He just doesn't like doing it to living things as it always ends badly for him.
In terms of himself Sven is a cocky, narcissistic, unpleasant rude man who loves causing trouble. He's known for his insensitivity and the wall he puts around himself, a researcher true and true he analyzes with a careful eye and is extremely judgmental, both to others and himself surprisingly. Though Hana helps him realize the latter quite often.
Quite honestly no one in their right mind would be friends with the guy, he genuinely enjoys creating chaos for people he dislikes. He'll spend the whole day making an ingenious plan only to throw it aside in the middle of it to take a 'wing it' approach since it'd be more interesting.
He's a heavy gambler when it comes to dealing with things, a smile on his face as he manipulates everyone and everything to suit his whims. He only acts if it benefits him, he sees no point in it otherwise.
Hana however will say that Sven isn't a complete waste of human life, he does help those in the slum and has on many occasions helped people get away. Though he always expected something for his help, he never charged as much as he would to those with means. She believes a part of him truly does care for others but it's hidden underneath a very high wall to protect himself from something that hurt him long ago and the world he finds himself in now.
"Hey if people hate you it's easy to know where you stand with them. Hatred is the best form of honesty."
Personality(Hana): Hana is little more than a Doll in terms of personality, it's unknown the kind of person she was before the incident in her life but little emotion exists in her now. At least that seems to be the case on the outside. Her expression doesn't change but due to her jabs at Sven it's clear she still has a sense of humor. Sven will mention that the emotions are all there, anger, sadness, happiness, but she's locked them away deep within, a mental block she created for herself. Sven to a degree has the ability to 'unlock' her feelings by messing with her cybernetics as they are a large part of her system but since Hana doesn't want to feel he makes no attempt to do so.
Since her face provides no real sign of her emotions her actions are the easiest way to tell her feeling, she's surprisingly honest which more than likely ties into her blunt nature. She makes no attempt to lie or be dishonest choosing just not to speak if asked a question she prefers not to answer. It's unknown if she has any real joy in things since she no longer laughs or smiles but as she's very clear about her distaste with things, it's easy to tell when she's not pleased, if she hasn't said anything there's a 28% chance she's okay with it.
History(Sven): "The World Government are innovators, it's not that hard to understand."
A youth with a fanciful dream in the slums of city stood on a tower and looked at the 'rich people's place' with the intention of stepping foot in there himself. Pushing himself, studying and sacrificing what little childhood he was permitted he made it to the upper echelon joining the elite when he was older, ignoring the occasional stares he'd get for his origins. Working hard the youth grew more and studied as a member of the WG alongside others of his fine caliber, he'd always hum an unfamiliar tune as he worked, a song lost to time ages past. He had achieved his dream and stared down at the slums from his new home with an almost cocky grin.
However things changed quickly, incidents started to happen putting people who he knew were good in danger, but fearing losing everything he worked for he forced himself to turn a blind eye.
Held in the disgust at the actions being done to the people he knew, focusing on his work, but one can only be pushed so far before they have to act. The Virus was the start but watching a sick child held by his crying mother try to get help and get thrown out was apparently the youth's limit.
He chose his side and…well one person can't take down the World Government and though he knew that he got tired of watching. He was caught by the WGA and almost killed but managed to escape, labeled a criminal he ran, changed his name and returned to the slums he had escaped from, the one place he knew the WGA wouldn't find him. Though permanently stigmatized by those he knew he chose to remain in the slums.
On occasion in the slums if he see a message from the World Government or one of their technological advancement pass by, should you see that message change to a mocking message of the World Government or that technological advancement crash and burn take a moment to listen, as you might faintly catch the hum of an unfamiliar tune lost to ages past.
History(Hana): "I am a weapon…I serve my purpose as need be."
Hana is a strange one, perhaps more than her partner in some cases. A member of the WGA she's worked helping to spread the influence and power of the WGA. It appears that she was a maid at one point but somehow managed to work for the WGA, more than likely serving just the right person, or saying the right thing at the right time, very few know. What little is known is she was trained and became a member in their ranks; some say she was a part of Justice but she disputes the claim.
Hana doesn't share much of her past but there are times a distant look forms in her eyes and she'll sometimes do strange rituals, whatever was in her past it clearly changed her, perhaps even broke what she was. She found a way to cope and the easiest way was to shut off everything and keep working. She became an efficient soldier no amount of hesitation in her actions anymore, and nothing to hold her back, she was little more than a machine.
Thankfully her humanity wasn't completely abandoned as she stood up against the WGA when she was pushed too far, feeling they had crossed a serious line with their actions. She doesn't know why she acted, why she betrayed orders, why she chose to feel in that moment but the rare cases she speaks about it there's a fire in her eyes, showing she has no regrets though it almost killed her. Cybernetic parts replaced what was removed or stopped working, and she doesn't remember much having faded in and out of consciousness at death's door. The only thing she can recall is someone hovering over her humming a strange but catchy tune she didn't recognize.
She now serves as Sven's bodyguard due to the fact he charged her for saving her life and she needs upkeep on her new parts, which due to the fact he created them, is the best one for the job.
Weaponry(Sven): Hana- Hana is Sven's weapon controlling her with his wires he acts like a puppeteer guiding his puppet to attack his opponent. She is his greatest weapon and he's put a lot of work into adjusting her cybernetics to respond to his wires responses. He can control her as if he was moving his own body, Hana acts on instincts while Sven acts on tactics the two are best together than apart.
Wires-Sven has wires hidden in his sleeves, though he himself is not a skilled fighter like Hana he does have training in using them, he treats them like garrote wires and since they are sharp he can kill with them. The wires are made of a strong metal but they can still be cut, Sven is working on fixing this.
Cloak- Sven posses a cloak with cloaking technology, hiding him even from infrared, though due to his bargain shopping the battery is atrocious making it only functional in short bursts. He uses his wires to power the cloak so he can't do anything while hidden but it's useful for him should he need to let Hana do her own thing.
Weaponry (Hana):
Fists- Hana's modifications give her enhanced strength making her a terrifying threat up close hitting her opponents with a barrage of attacks with frightening speed if Sven isn't controlling her. If Sven is she's much slower but still dangerous as the duo are in tune with one another.
Nodachi- Hana carries a collapsed Nodachi on her person, which is her original weapon. The weapon itself is nothing special, the metal tempered to better respond to the armor of their opponents.
Powers(Sven):
Glow?- Sven doesn't have any powers though a glow does escape from his body, he can't necessarily do anything with it minus manifest it.
Powers(Hana): Hana is able to use Armament Haki in very short bursts, aside from that she has no other powers.
Abilities(Sven):
A skilled Hacker Sven prefers to manipulate technology to serve him then getting his own hands dirty, if he can connect to it, he can probably hack it. He's not bad with robotics either, cybernetics was a specialty.
Sven has basic training in hand to hand having worked for the World Government, but his skill is nowhere near true professionals, he relies on Hana for that stuff.
Sven prefers staying in the back row then fighting up close but he is skilled with his wires enough to hold his own until Hana can rescue him at least. His training in it is far more advanced than his hand to hand
Abilities(Hana):
Hana is the only one of the two that knows how to fire a gun, Sven is a terrible shot, though she prefers being up close and personal, she has a preference for long range rifles.
Hana is a skilled close combat specialist, skilled in hand to hand combat, especially strikes and her sword is basically an extension of her body.
Her cybernetics are resistant to basic EMP related attacks, something that would cause a normal cybernetic to malfunction won't work with her, though that doesn't mean she's immune to the effects.
Other(Sven):
Ironically has mild Automatonophobia, seems fine if Hana is nearby.
He also has Caligynephobia
Avid animal lover.
He has discophilia especially when it comes to old ones.
Other(Hana):
Loves sand to an almost scary degree.
Doesn't seem to mind being manipulated by Sven while fighting. "He controls me so I hold back, I can't do so on my own," is a common quote from her.
Secretly practices how to smile properly.
Name: Grimm
Alias: 'The Hell-bat of Burke'
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Appearance:
He is a grotesquely formed little man, hunchbacked with long spindly arms and bowed, crooked legs that make him walk with a noticeable limp. His chalky skin has an unusual greenish pallor to it owing to his unnaturally colored blood. His face appears fleshless with jutting malformed features from his strange, knobby skull, his bloodshot eyes sunken into the sockets and lined with dark circles.
Grimm is normally dressed in a brown hooded cloak and covers his face in a custom-made gasmask. His clothing is a simple gray jumpsuit interwoven with steel mesh for protection. When on missions he dons a black chest plate made of Kevlar and reinforced with metal ribs. Further protection is offered by several Kevlar pads spread about his limbs. He carries his weapons in a satchel and on a small utility belt.
Height: 3 feet
Weight: 102 lbs
Eye Color: Green
Personality:
Grimm is a very driven, enthusiastic individual who's very passionate about everything he does. He loves to create, and does so with detailed attention to function and aesthetic. More often than not he puts as much art as he does science into his creations. His passion sometimes leads to obsession with both his machines and other aspects of his life.
Grimm has spent years being alone, and this has left him with a strong desire to connect with others. He does his best to 'fit in', but sometimes comes across as trying too hard to befriend someone. He is more comfortable around Omnics than humans given that he was raised by one, and thinks that they hold less prejudice against his mutation.
History:
Burke is one of the poorest slums in Eternity, reduced to little more than a lawless stretch of ancient cement and rusting steel. The decaying buildings form a refuge for a few destitute families terrorized by local street gangs and drug lords. The travesty goes unnoticed beneath the forest of dark smokestacks that fill the sky with smog from Kemtech Incorporated's chemical plants. Other, fouler byproducts are removed from the factories in barrels and taken away, but some are never taken very far…
Many years ago a young woman lay in a crumbling Burke apartment giving birth. But what was born was not a child; not a pink cherub with soft eyes and a heartwarming smile. It was instead a twisted, bony creature that mewled pitifully at its horrified mother; a product of the foul, insidious virus released long ago upon the voiceless poor. The woman was repulsed and ashamed by what she'd bore. It was already a bastard; conceived in some strobe-lit nightclub in a hazy, drug-fueled encounter with a stranger she found attractive.
The girl panicked. She was barely able to support herself, let alone something that looked fit to die within a day. As soon as she was able to, she found the deepest, darkest back alley she could, taking with her a twitching bundle of rags and blanket scraps. She left it in a dumpster and vanished into the night without so much as a hesitant glance over her shoulder. The girl never knew she'd been watched. From behind a cluster of garbage cans emerged an ancient, spindly machine; a sentient droid who went by the moniker of Lefty, short for 'Left Behind'.
Lefty made his meager living fixing and selling gadgets he'd found cast off in the trash. He himself suffered this fate long ago during the AI wars, removed from his duty as a repair droid after showing signs of sentience. It stood to reason he felt pity for the creature abandoned by its provider. The old homeless droid retrieved the infant from the dumpster and looked it over. While lefty doubted it would survive, the least he could do was try to make its last few hours comfortable.
But the child didn't die. The sickliness that had plagued it melted away under the droid's care, and Lefty found that despite its deformities it was quickly developing. He took to calling the infant 'Grimm', taking the name from a book he happened to have at the time. He intended to rename him later, but never got around to it. As Grimm grew older he took a keen interest in Lefty's work, and the droid found the child had a remarkable talent for building small machines. Learning came naturally to him, and he supplemented his growing knowledge of machinery with texts of chemistry, art, and history.
But for all of his talents Grimm found himself rejected by the people of Burke. His grotesque appearance frightened children his age and drew resentment from adults. There were many couples in Burke who'd suffered the loss of seemingly healthy children; stillborn as a result of the pollution. To see something like Grimm, a 'waste of life' as some called him, grow to thrive stirred bitterness among them. This contempt would be redirected at Lefty, who would be avoided by potential customers whenever Grimm was near him, which was almost always.
Feeling guilty that his presence hurt Lefty's ability to provide for them, Grimm opted instead to remain hidden from sight, staying in their dingy hideout or exploring the dark and unused alleyways of Burke. His venturing eventually took him beneath the streets themselves. He could travel freely across town through the labyrinth of storm drains and sanitation tunnels without being seen. He found he could even help Lefty this way by gaining access to a whole new revenue of lost and broken gadgets lost from above.
Grimm lived for years in this manner. The long, lonely hours of the day were spent hiding in the desolate places of Burke with only the kinship of mutated vermin. When dwelling below the streets he'd often leer from the drains with envious eyes at the sights and sounds and faces of a world he wasn't allowed to take part in. But all the frustration and bitterness that clouded his mind in the day would melt away when he returned home to greet Lefty.
They'd spend all night together just talking, about their day, about things they'd found, about things they'd been reading. And when they were talking Grimm would often forget he was different from other people. For just a few hours he could connect with someone, and it meant the entire world to him.
Things began to change in Grimm's twelfth year. That year saw the arrival of a new gang in Burke; 'The Vipers'. Driven from a neighboring district they proved far more violent and dangerous than the local gangs and flourished in their new lawlessness environment like a spark in a pile of kindling. They brought with them their signature drug called 'Fuel'; a stimulant cooked up by their chemists that induced a manic euphoria and gratuitous violence. In less than a month the Vipers snuffed out what little order there was. They had no interest in establishing a new hierarchy; rather they saw Burke and everything in it as their toys to do with what they pleased.
Grimm was increasingly concerned with Lefty's safety. Avoiding the roving squadrons of gang members was becoming impossible. He began making plans with the droid about relocating to a new district, but neither he nor Lefty could pin down a place to go. The nearby districts that weren't worse off than Burke were too exclusive for a deformed mutant and rusting robot to enter. The danger presented by the Vipers grew to the point where they had to close down their business entirely.
Grimm managed well enough to scavenge food for himself, and had had found enough lost jewelry in the sewers to keep them afloat for a time. But he also knew that it would run dry, and without income an increasingly frail Lefty could no longer afford even the cheap, short-lived spare parts he needed to keep himself going. Grimm took it upon himself to scrounge up anything he could, but without parts he knew it was only a matter of time before Lefty shut down for good. They had no choice but to move, but to where they had no idea. They packed what they could and set off in the early hours of the morning in hopes that the Vipers would be crashing from a night of violence and drug use.
It was Grimm that first saw the mess of black leather and smudged purple face paint coming around the corner. Their needle-marked arms quaked from Fuel as they leered at the odd duo with bloodshot, dilated eyes and horribly contorted grins. Grimm grabbed Lefty's arm and tried to run, but the droid's rundown gears never stood a chance of outpacing the gang members.
Grimm awoke with the taste of blood in his mouth and the feeling of icy concrete beneath his body. His vision was blurred by swollen bruises, and his left arm throbbed with searing pain. The mutant blearily looked up and dragged himself to his feet, stumbling as he held his fractured arm. His mind cleared in horror as he saw screws and bolts and wires spread out over the pavement. Grimm quietly made his way over to the broken body of his caregiver, mentor, and friend. He looked into the extinguished lenses of his optic sensors and began to weep.
The next several months saw Grimm relocate to the abandoned Burke Cathedral, taking residence in the belfry where he would look out over the district among weatherworn gargoyles. Without the kindred spirit of Lefty the mutant had only his bitterness and anger for company, and soon fell into an obsession with avenging his mentor. Grimm utilized his skills to craft weapons and equipment with which he planned to terrorize the Vipers with.
And terrorize he did. Word began to spread among Burke that some terrible creature was stalking the streets at night. It could scale sheer walls, hurl fire and brimstone, leap and bound incredible distances, and even fly on bat-like wings. While greatly exaggerated, these encounters were fact. Armed and enhanced with his inventions Grimm was targeting the Vipers with the intent of wiping them out, and would have gone on doing so had he not been approached by a Serenity Operative. Grimm reluctantly agreed to come join the organization, but his reasons are not entirely known yet.
Weaponry:
Incendiary Bombs: These are small, spherical grenades that can be thrown and explode on contact, erupting into a shower of flames and metal fragments.
'Dragun': A double-barreled shotgun modified to fire incendiary rounds, featuring an under-barrel nozzle and attachment which allows it to double as a flamethrower.
Toxic Gas Canisters: Cylindrical gas canisters that hold various gasses and smoke screens, the most common of which emit a white cloud of hallucinogenic gas that disorient targets.
Sonic devices: Disorienting noisemakers that are either pitched in ambush attacks or deliberately set up in select locations beforehand and can be turned on or off via remote.
Powers:
Mutations: Grimm's mutations have left him with a twisted, abnormal shape, and as a result he's been forced to work with it as best he can. While he's gifted with above average strength and endurance given his overall size and a resistance to sickness and radiation, his strength mainly lies in his upper body. This allows him to perform acrobatic feats such as climbing up walls and parkour.
Springheeled Boots: He's enhanced his short, bowed legs with a set of boots of his own design that allow him to leap and jump great distances using powerful springs and pneumatic air pressure. Curving blades are also affixed to the toes of these boots for added damage when engaged in close combat.
Glider Cloak: Grimm wears a cloak made of a fabric that can stretch and contract. A system of small magnets is woven into it at certain points, all connected with extremely thin wiring. When a current is applied the cloak expands and becomes rigid, and Grimm can use this to glide short distances between rooftops. The cloak is also fireproof to a certain degree.
Abilities:
Highly intelligent Engineer and inventor
Skilled acrobat
Gifted artisan and craftsman
Other:
Grimm has always wanted a personal vehicle, preferably one that can fly.
History: Created as a result of Project: Resolve, a secretive experiment conducted by the Templars in an effort to boost their numbers. By mixing and splicing genetic material provided by the Templars, it was hoped that the subsequent generation created would have a higher chance of attaining the potential to be trained in the Power of Destruction, what they believed to be divine power gifted to them by their Machine-God. Previous attempts at this experiment have failed with minor to moderate success, but it was hoped that this effort would succeed where the past has failed. Those infants created were placed in the prestigious 'Saint Hopper's Military Academy', a religious school that goes from infancy all the way to the collegiate level that has taught some of the finest officers that the World Government has ever received. The Academy takes students of all faiths, as it is common for upper-class military parents to send their children there for a few years, including orphans that have been sponsored. The Templars anonymously sent twelve infants, along with a very generous donation, to ensure that those children could grow up without interference from the experimenters.
Those infants were raised in a strict but ultimately nurturing environment. They were taught the faith of the Machine-God as well as given their names. Zeta-03, and her brothers and sisters, were taught a general education, with a focus on the military sciences and other sciences in their later years. In such an environment, they flourished to their full potential. Unfortunately, while they held a higher degree of talent than their peers, not one of them was seemingly capable of the Power of Destruction. At the age of 20, they had all graduated. All were invited to join the elite Crusaders of the Cult, for they had demonstrated the capacity of knowledge needed, and some accepted the offer. Zeta-03, on the other hand, joined with a private military corporation, albeit one that was affiliated with the cult. She was religious, but wanted to seek her own path. She fought with the members of the Bladed Cogs for three years and gained plenty of combat experience fighting against rebellious omnics as well as whatever wars that the World Government was a part of and in time earned her commission as a Second Lieutenant.
Zeta-03 and her unit were commissioned to enter and destroy a factory that was suspected of a Rogue AI Nanite infestation and they were accompanied by the Templar that hired them, promising them valuable weapons and technology in return. As suspected, the factory was indeed infested and had already killed and assimilated all the human and omnic workers. It was gruelling and difficult work but they had finally reached the core of the complex. There, the fighting was the thickest and to buy time for Zeta-03 to plant explosives, the Templar and the rest of her unit held off the nanite horde. The strength of the Templar and the cohesion of the Bladed Cogs were enough to buy her time but not enough to survive. One by one they fell and the Templar, before xe died, threw xe's energy greatsword relic at her. The emotional depths she had felt and the cold stark truth of being the only person alive had awaken her Power of Destruction and fought through the horde before detonating the explosives when she was almost overwhelmed. She had made distance, but not enough to not have been caught in the explosion. The blast had destroyed the core of the nanites, rendering them inert, but she had sustained serious injuries. Zeta-03 would have died in the ruins of her last victory had the Templars not arrived, alerted by the sudden death of their fellow brother. They had healed her, replaced her augmetic eye and had replaced her ruined limbs with Templar-grade cybernetics. Once she had recovered, they told her of her origins and, in their traditionally cold manner, offered her an invitation to join their ranks and learn their secrets. She hesitantly refused their offer. Despite three years, she still felt that she did not truly know herself and thought long and hard about her future. Zeta-03 decided that if she was going to fight, it would be "a war worth fighting for." She had seen the effects of the World Government, and their ceaseless endless conflict, and came to the conclusion that there had to be a better way. She then joined Serenity and is now seeking to change the World Government as a STALKER.
Weaponry: Energy-based greatsword known as the 'Fang of the Omnissiah'. It is a part of a set of sixteen energy-based weapons that use hard-light based technology to produce a killing mono-molucular edge that is unrivaled. Tragically, the secret to making them had been lost when the Temple that produced had fallen in the early days of the Machine Revolution. Out of the sixteen prototypes, the Templars hold five of them, Zeta-03 has one, the World Government possess three, and the rest are either missing or destroyed with five destructions confirmed. Each weapon possesses a learning chip and bonds with their user that lasts until their death. The weapon learns from the individual users and dramatically boost efficiency and combat effectiveness with enough experience.
