"Thanks Camille... and ya I'll agree to those terms," Jack responded giving Camille a thumbs up as he was about to start bolting towards the light before a soft tug on his arm reminded him of a small problem... Amber. The little girls smile lit up as she explained she was able to recall the sound of her mothers. Jack paused for the moment wondering how well Amber, and Yeul were really understanding the whole current situation. For now though he needed to check out that light, and get back to the group as fast as possible. Kyouko, and Mitsuko, were rattling on about the time frame issue causing Jack to snap back to attention.

"Well lets just be realistic about it then. Give us as much time as you can if we can get a hour I'll take it if not it was my choice in the first place. Just leave us a hint I guess," Jack suggested hoping to end the question at hand. With that he motioned for Amber to let go of his hand before kneeling down to eye level with her.

"Amber I need you to do me a favor. While I am gone you need to be careful, and listen to these folks alright you can trust them. However if you run into anyone you don't know I want you to run alright... theirs no telling what else is out here with us," Jack requested of her as he stood up, and nodded at Camille as he gave a confident smile to the group before starting to run off toward the life.

"You guys be careful, and watch out for whatever those Collectors are," Jack said as his final words as he disappeared into the maze of buildings ahead of them. As he, and Camille ran forward Jack kept a eye out for any signs of hostility, but for a good two minutes... there was no noise at all... it was almost to quiet like there was no life near them besides the light.

"Is it just me, or does it feel like that whole sense of danger is completely gone like were being ignored," the teen asked almost feeling like those they had left were the ones heading into danger... no that was a silly notion... wasn't it?

.....................................................................................................................

Pausing for a moment Camille finally looked properly at the optimistic young girl. For a moment she felt envious of her energy and smile. Why? Thinking back she wasn't sure why she even should feel envious of Amber. Everything was a mess and there had been no time to even sort out the jumble of memories. Snapping out of her thoughts she gave a wave to the other group before following Jack.

At eerie silence and Jack's comment she nodded softly. "Though being ignored means it is possible that someone is still aware of our presence. Letting our guard down might be the worst idea." Touching her sticker she summoned the cards noting that she had more cards on her hand. Giving them a quick glance she recognized the suit and numbers. "Two and three has returned..."

[fieldbox=Mitsuko Shiki | District Zero to District One, red]As Grener and Ainsworth left, Mitsuko glanced at the current group. Two people closer to her age, Kirigiri and Shoriya, and two young girls, Amber and Yeul. Since they had already agreed on how to position themselves, she took to the front of the group. She was under no impressions that a group of strangers would let themselves be led, which meant they would have to work together. Something about that nagged at Mitsuko, as if the idea of working with people, instead of commanding them, wasn't something she usually did.

With a small sigh, she set a hand on her hip and glanced at Yeul. The blue-haired girl, as she had remembered, showed a disturbing amount of calm and skill with that chain scythe that she shouldn't have. Then again, who am I to say that? We're mostly a bunch of teenagers here, and Shoriya has a fuckload of guns but he is younger than me. "Yeul." She looked at the blue-haired girl, a small frown on her face. Even if something about Yeul made her distrust the young girl, she was still a person, and a seemingly capable fighter at that. "As Shoriya said, you are to be beside him. Keep your scythe out if you can. Amber," Here, the frown on her face had lessened, clearly showing what she thought of Yeul and the difference she she had with Amber, "Can you tell us more about your sticker? Preferably while we're walking, you can be beside Kirigiri."

She couldn't make the girl stand beside her at the front. They hadn't seen the youngest girl fight yet, but like Jack, Mitsuko wasn't really on board with the idea of making children fight. She was a little irritated at herself for this softness, in a situation like this she shouldn't care at all - they needed all the help and power they could get. Still, everyone has different skills and abilities. Amber would have her own specialty, by whoever chose these stickers for us.

She looked ahead at the area in front of them, then in the direction where Grener and Ainsworth had taken off. Looking at the buildings, she wondered if there were people inside they could ask - but it couldn't be that easy at all, could it? "We should check the buildings." They seemed to be shops of different sorts, but was it wise to enter them? There could be those static creatures lurking within those, as well. At this rate, she had to consider just about anything was possible.[/fieldbox]
[fieldbox=Yeul | District Zero to District One, turquoise]Hearing Amber speak about her mama made Yeul feel a strange tinge of wistfulness, longing, and jealousy. Why didn't she get much of a memory of her own family? Whatever she got were bits and pieces that were hard to put together, she knew she had a family, but were they alive? What time did she even have that memory where her mother was singing her to sleep? How old was she then? But jealousy wasn't a good thing, she remembered, and she kept quiet. Amber seemed like a nice girl, and Yeul knew she had been taught to have manners. She kept quiet as Miss Ainsworth, the one with the cards, and Mister Grener with those strange things on his hands agreed to go together.

Yeul clenched onto the handle and chain of her scythe tighter, watching the nice lady, Miss Ainsworth, and Mister Grener run off. She had spoken up earlier about coming to help whoever needed it, but when it came down to it, the idea was still... Frightening. As the two had run off, she also felt strange - as if those two had gotten the easier end by leaving the group, and whatever was trying to hurt them was now focused on their current group.

She swallowed slightly, looking at Mitsuko with a hint of nervousness on her face and nodding. The red-haired woman had now walked to the front, in front of Shoriya, and following her words she stood some distance away from the other blue-haired person in the group. She looked down at the weapon in her hands, and felt a little tempted to touch... The sticker right over her heart, just to feel the calm and even slight happiness she had earlier. She knew that she probably wouldn't perform with the same skill and ability she had earlier without it, even if the scythe was still somewhat familiar in her hands. The calm earlier had given her clarity, clarity that left no other space for things like being scared or feeling bad.

While she was looking at Mitsuko, she could tell the redhaired lady didn't like her. She just did, and it seemed to be a bad thing. Mitsuko seemed to act or try to act like an adult, and she looked the oldest one currently in their group, Kirigiri the next after her. Yeul didn't even know what made Miss Shiki dislike her, though she saw the clear difference when the woman looked at Amber.[/fieldbox]

Nagito Shoriya / Jigsaw / Modern Armory and The Perfect Killer

Shoriya couldn't help the disappointment he felt as the two broke off from the group, but it was surprisingly easy to push the feeling aside. So now their group was down to just the five of them... Not a bad number he supposed, though Amber's presence was a concern, if a callous one. Compared to basically everyone else, she didn't seem to have any grasp on the situation, even if it was unrealistic to expect everyone to come to terms so easily. At least the others seemed to be following his suggestions and taking up the mentioned positions without too much complaint. Hopefully they'd be able to cover for her well enough. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, tightening his hold on the weapon, before he finally looked up.

It was nice, he supposed, to have someone else do the talking and Shoriya stayed quiet as Mitsuko addressed Yeul and Amber. The difference in opinion she had for the two was pretty noticeable as she didn't even bother to hide it, but sometimes that was just how things were. A glance told him that Yeul had also noticed the difference, but it wasn't his business to adjust other people's opinions. Everyone was, after all, entitled to their own. "Don't be too worried," he muttered to the bluenette as he began to follow after their red-head front guard, "hopefully we'll get settled down soon enough."

"I'd suggest we make for the convenience store first. If there's food around, it should be there and that's probably our most important need at the moment. We can look for other supplies afterwards." He tapped the firearm's magazine to secure it as he kept an eye out on their surroundings. The buildings that were illuminated flickered constantly, but mostly the stores looked to be darkened husks. He'd readily admit that it was damn eerie when combined with the lack of any other life.

Seeing Jack leave with the other girl broke Amber's heart, she didn't want to be left with these strangers. What if they didn't wait for him to come back? What if she never saw him again? Keeping an eye on where Jack had walked off, Amber thought for a moment of running after him, but remembered that she could distract him again. So she took her position in the group and answer the red headed girl.

"I have a pretty staff, so I can wack those wolfs!" Amber gave a giggle at that, she wanted to stay in good spirits. Looking over to Yeul Amber gave another wave.

"Hey Yeul, wanta play eye spy? Or maybe we can play something else." As she was talking Amber put her hands in her pockets. She then felt the extra phone, pulling it out Amber asked the group.

"Did anyone drop a phone?"

Taking her place in the rear, Kyouko followed the group, keeping a watchful eye out. She was going to leave her worries about the past and her memories for another time. As she looked back at the place where the other two had just split away from them, she was filled with an ominous feeling. Who was really walking into danger, here? Biting her lip, she decided to ignore this feeling as well, hoping that she was very wrong in her assumptions. She didn't need them to walk head-first into danger. She wasn't sure of the recovery time for her weapon yet, and if she was faced with an enemy defenseless, it would be a problem. Especially because of the wolves. They'd been slightly weak but still posed some sort of threat. She could only guess, but it would be too naive to assume that enemies would get weaker as they proceeded. It could only get tougher from now on.

"How do you suggest we go in? A closed-off building can be a death trap if we aren't careful." Kyouko said as she looked in front of her at Nagito. She figured taht he had a plan, but somehow, she wanted to hear it. She knew that they were only going to meet dangerous things from now on, and the risks they'd be taking by just running through the front doors bothered her. It wasn't an unlikely scenario if creatures waited to ambush them as soon as they set foot in there. It was a pretty old trick. "I suggest we scout the nearby areas before going in, but if you've got a better idea..."

She didn't want to sound too confident. Because she wasn't confident at all. Should she be confident? Was this intuition of hers worth more than what she thought it was? Could she count on her own instincts? She sure hoped not. Because she had a feeling that they'd be running into one dangerous thing after the other starting right now, and she did not under any circumstances want that to happen. This feeling that resembled carefully treading between hidden landmines left her adrenaline pumping. She would have to calm down her imagination a little bit. It couldn't be that bad...

The alleyways of the abandoned city structure was all too quiet, almost deafening in such, until it was shattered to pieces by a cry of shier terror and pain. Another of the younger fragments, alone and searching for one of the larger groups, had been running from one of the many lionesses, now pinned to the ground, devoured alive in much the same way that the other fragmented had been disposed of by a wolf not so long ago. Exavior, shifting so as to sit up, managed to conjure a look of disgust as such was heard, not being so far away from the building they sat atop. Surely Shujo had seen the event clearly from her perch near the edge of the concrete structure.
"I told you these were strong creatures.... We cant outrun them, and we surely cant fight them off without proper planning." said the male as he looked off the edge to the ground where the girl's vision was now focused. They were coming, just as the girl had hoped, and that meant that his plan was working. Soon enough, he would have front row seats to the real show, the real game. Seeming to hear other prey, however, the lions turned, finding another lone group of two that were within reach. Letting out low growls, they slowly began to stalk forwards, ever cautious, nearly silent as they made their way through the alleys.

"Hey! Watch out!" Called the rather rash Shujo, making sure that the lionesses were out of reach before sliding down the side of the building, calling forth her staff and attempting to follow after to get to the other humans first, or at least be able to help if they were attacked. Exavior sighed, forcing hismelf up, not in any sort of mood to deal with this stupid child, but doing so anyway for his own better interests, sliding down as well and following as closely as he could without blowing his guise of being too heavily injured.

(District One)

"Ya you have a point," Jack responded to Camille statement as they headed deeper, and deeper into the city. All around them passed by buildings of various types, but mainly of a more marketing type as if it was the shopping center of the city. Jack noticed strangely how every building had their lights yet no people to be seen working. It was almost like they were in a city in eternal sleep awaiting for the people to return... in short it was eerie, and disturbing as possible. Jack shook the thoughts out of his head of what could have possibly befallen the original owners, and kept his eye on the flickering light before suddenly it stopped, and a girls voice yelled out.
"Hey! Watch out!"
Jack looked ahead in confusion as he watched the person he, and Camille had come to rescue literally coming to them. HA take that everyone else is what Jack thought to himself happy to see they had indeed found a actually person in peril... well not that were in peril, but the fact she... THEY were a people he mentally noted as a second guy slide down from the building right after the girl apparently in a much worse state.

"Alright then points for... oh crap," Jack groaned as he finally heard what caused that girl to yell at them in the response of a loud yowling sound followed by the sound of feet running towards them from Jacks side. It would only take a few second before three lioness's jumping from out of the alleyways all around them before full on sprinting towards them.

"You got any projectiles," Jack yelled to Camille as he activated his gauntlets allowing the swirls of purple mist to form into said weapons before he looked behind himself again. They probable had about 10 second before those things caught up thankfully they didn't seem to be super face like a actual lioness, but still it was clear they were the faster.

"Dammit she's got a injured person with her.... Camille if you can take out that middle one," Jack yelled... five seconds were left before the big cats would catch up with them.

"Food is indeed a necessity, being prepared and strategized is also very wise. My your probably the most well organized group I have seen in quite a long time," a woman's wispy yet seductive voice chimed tot he group from above. Gently swinging her feet of the side of one of the smaller building was a woman dressed in a British designed suit with long dark pink hair tied in ponytail. Her eye's were hidden behind a Bowler hat with mocha colored lips lightly smiling at the children as she watched them from above. Her skin was a light caramel that seemed to glisten with the moonlight yet all such feature would be ignored at the whistling sound of a can being spun in her left arm.

"You children look lost. May I offer you a bit of assistance to this dreary town," she asked politely before leaping of the building, and landing so gently in quietly it almost seem unrealistic. Standing up at full height she held the cane in front of her with both hands before lightly bowing to them. She seemed to be around possibly her early twenties, but that aside they would all feel a strange presence from her being something... not completely....right.

"Well?"

The brightly lit but empty streets and alleyways were unnerving to the point that Camille only gripped tighter on the cards in her hand. Nine cards, she only had nine projectiles against an unknown amount of enemies who she wasn't even sure she could touch. Just the name of them, Static, made her insecure if what skills she possibly held would be of use. She could count cards and had apparently done some martial art? She wasn't even sure if whatever martial art she had practiced would even be useful.

Her thoughts were broken at the warning, looking towards the source of the sound she saw the young woman coming towards them. Seeing an injured person following behind she disregarded them for now to look around. Seeing the lionesses of static coming towards them she easily went into a familiar stance, readying a card. At his question she nodded lightly and agreed with his suggestion. "Yes, and on it."

Throwing the first card, marked '9', it whizzed past her intended target when there was only five seconds left until impact. Gritting her teeth she altered her stance slightly and threw a second card with the number '5' that hit the target spot on with only two seconds to go. Watching the creature disperse one thing was for certain, she had to get better at throwing cards.

Nagito Shoriya / Jigsaw / Modern Armory and The Perfect Killer

Unsure if Kyouko had seen the building he was intent on checking for supplies, Shoriya gestured towards the dimly lit convenience store just a few hundred meters ahead. Most of the lights seemed to have failed and those that still worked flickered constantly, but the ambient light allowed him to see in through the mostly glass front well enough. It was at the base of what looked to be a high rise shopping center and one of the many stores that probably fed inside. Still, he didn't quite see the point of delving deeper into an enclosed unscouted building and stated as much. "If there's no food close to the entrance I don't plan to go any deeper into the building, we'll just look elsewhere. As for scouting, I'd rather not. If we do end up finding something we'll probably have to fight it, and if we cause a commotion I'm not planning to stick around to gather supplies afterwards." Before he could get the others' thoughts on it though, a voice caused Shoriya to stop.

His hand had found its way back to the firearm's handguard and brought the weapon up on aim. Attire aside, since he couldn't really call it odd given everyone elses', she exuded a sense of wrongness that simply set Shoriya on edge. That aside, it was painfully clear that she had not been one of the participants at the start of this game; he was certain he'd have remembered. So the million dollar question now was, whose side was she on? Was she one of the Collectors the message had warned them of, or another faction? It didn't seem too far fetched that whatever parties had set this 'game' up would fail to mention such information. Still, at the very least she seemed willing to talk, and enemy or not that was better than simply straight to violence. His eyebrows rose just a tad at her landing while his stomach sank though. 'She has powers...' With the possibility of the stranger being a Collector rising, he spoke warily. "Depends on the assistance."

Exavior noted that this group, if only of two, was well coordinated, working together without question. The fact that his lions dispersed so easily, however, was rather concerning, especially for them being a slightly higher level. Even so, they had been summoned and under control for quite some time, easily providing explanation for weakness. There were only five left from what he could sense, two that were in attack of the 'rescue group' and three that were still wandering about the city. Severing his conscious control over the other three, Exavior focused upon the two that were in the current battle so as to have a more close connection, a heightened hand in the fight so to say. Continuing to limp after Shujo, he looked around behind him, as if worried that there could be more coming, though there were none behind him, giving him the look of relief that was called for. Shujo, by that time, had reached the closest of the lionesses, swinging her staff in an ark similar to what one would swing a bat in, clearly not the ideal way to fight with that form of weapon, but effective none the less, she able to take out the animal's hip, it unable to continue it's chase, though it could still just as easily turn and attack her as she was still in range. Gritting his teeth and such seemed to be happening, Exavior lightly brushed his hand against his hip where his sticker was laying in rest for him, his motion fluid, well practiced. Within a thick mist came forth two wheel like structures with spikes all around the exterior, ornately designed, his chackrams. Spinning on his 'good' heel, he threw one with all of his portrayed might, the circle of flurried blades soaring through the air and arcing in such a way as to cut the head off of the lioness, just as it would have turned to bite Shujo in the leg. Dispersing into particles of static with the wretched sound thereof, Exavior flinched and looked away, Shujo sighing slightly before looking up to the other two to see if they had handled the other lioness yet and if they were alright.

[fieldbox=Mitsuko Shiki | District Zero to District One, red]Mitsuko glanced at Shoriya, then at the flickering lights that could be spotted within the buildings. The situation felt disturbingly like something out of an apocalyptic movie, with how deserted the buildings and stores were except for the scattered groups of people. If the city was truly that deserted, and it was, with only the Static and the Collectors the phone had given a chilling warning about, that meant they had to get adapted to this quick. As much as she wanted to think this could end quickly, the blue-haired boy was right. They had no guarantees how long they would be trapped in this situation.

She looked over at Amber at the young girl's reply, arching an eyebrow at her light and happy tone. While the girl's seeming innocence made Mitsuko concerned, at least Amber had... A staff. Which they hadn't really seen yet, but there was no reason for Amber to lie to the group, and the redhead would know if she was lying. There were always the subtle tells and cues. Mitsuko glanced at the phone in Amber's hand. So she only found out about it just now... "Amber, that phone is yours. Check it for any messages, since we also got messages in ours." It probably was the same message she had gotten, or maybe not. But the sender seemed to direct those words at everyone in this mess. Mitsuko wondered if reading the message would give Amber a little more understanding into what was happening, and if that would be a good thing.

Mitsuko kept quiet as Shoriya answered Kirigiri's question, they had both made their points. She agreed with Kyouko that they couldn't get trapped inside a building, and scouting for threats seemed like asking for the threats to come to them. It was probably for the better if they moved around as quickly as possible. It wasn't as if she did even get a chance to speak, though, as another voice cut in.

"Food is indeed a necessity, being prepared and strategized is also very wise. My your probably the most well organized group I have seen in quite a long time," she wouldn't deny the knee-jerk reaction she had, her grip on her bladed staff tightening as her eyes quickly sought out the source. What now? What Mitsuko saw had her eyes narrowing immediately and she didn't relax.

She immediately didn't trust anything that came out of this woman's lips. Mitsuko barely glanced at Shoriya as he immediately replied, and it seemed the bluenette didn't trust the newcomer either. The woman... Was too self-assured to be one of the people in the mess earlier. She didn't exude even a sense of upset or panic, no feeling of being trapped. That simply wasn't how one should act when faced with this 'game'. In fact, this pink-haired woman even seemed amused. Then there was the offering of help. No help came for free, and what could one person offer in this place? It wasn't safe for anyone to go about alone... Unless they had some sort of power... And Mitsuko felt her gut twist as she saw the woman leap down from the building.

That isn't normal. Even with the strange powers or weapons appearing, this woman seemed to land as light as a feather on the ground. Mitsuko jumped on another possibility. A Collector? The woman just seemed too 'in the know' about something... "What can one lone person offer a group?" Mitsuko rose an eyebrow, a glare in her eyes and her mouth already curving downwards. "Unless you're offering to join, but you seem perfectly at ease being by yourself. Maybe it is us that have something you want."

[fieldbox=Yeul | District Zero to District One, turquoise]Yeul had been quiet after the other bluenette's last words to her. She didn't really think she could offer anything of help to the older girls and the lone boy in the group right now, aside from her scythe. This situation, she didn't have any other notable skills. The blue-haired girl could understand that, even as her memories remained difficult. Much like Amber, it seemed she just had to follow whatever they would go with. And hopefully, they wouldn't have to get in danger so soon again.

But what was this sinking feeling?

Blue eyes blinked in surprise at Amber. Yeul shook off her worry to look at the other girl. "Eye spy? I don't know that game..." She wondered if this game was anything she had played, but there was no familiarity. "But can you teach me?" Smiling at Amber, she was able to at least focus on something else aside from the worry. But they didn't get a chance to continue further.

Yeul turned and looked upwards, a feeling of apprehension running down her back. There was a woman, and she was smiling at them. It looked kind, but it was anything but. She didn't know how she knew that, but something about the woman told her to run away... And she hated that feeling. She was starting to hate feeling this uneasiness and even the rejection she got from the redheaded girl. The only thing that seemed constant and reliable was the weapon in her hands.

The blue-haired girl looked down, and almost touched the sticker on her chest. Her hand hovered over the mark for a second as Nagito and Mitsuko spoke to the pink-haired woman, but after a moment, she looked up and held on to the scythe with both hands, one on the handle and the other around the chain.[/fieldbox]

Amber shook her head at the red head.

"No, I found this phone after mine. I don't know who it belongs to." Amber felt a little mad that this girl thought she was that dumb, so what if she wasn't as smart as everyone here? Didn't mean she was dumb. Shaking off the feeling the best she could, Amber went to answer Yeul when a pink haired woman jumped down in front. Her face was covered by some hat and she was talking funny. The woman seemed like she wanted to help, which was good seeing they had no idea what to do. So Amber put on a big, sweet smile and gave wave to the pink haired lady.

"Hello miss! Its really nice of you to help us, thanks. Do you know why we're here? The phone said something about a game but I don't want to play. It seems too scary for me."
Amber couldn't help making a face at Mitsuko as if to say 'see? I'm not that dumb'

"Hey are you guys alright," Jack spoke out to the two new faces. The last of the lioness's in the heat of battle had slunk away to regroup with its sisters most likely planning on bringing them back to their current location which meant they needed to move fast. Running over to the two newer folks hopefully with Camille right behind him Jack made it his notion to checkup on the more wounded of the two.

"Gotta admit that was impressive what you did with the hula hoop in your condition," Jack complimented the "wounded" Exavoir before looking towards the girl who had been the one signaling them from the get go.

"I am happy to see you guys are still alive I was worried I was going to be wrong, and risk our lives for nothing. Thanks for staying alive," Jack chuckled with a relieved grin. Of course then it came back to him that the other lioness had left without a fight. From what he had seen these things were braver in packs, and seeing how that one left so abruptly rather then attack them out of sheer anger most likely meant there were still some around.

"Though with that said we better start getting a move on... no telling when more will arrive. By the way the names Jack, and this is Camille. Can you still run," he asked Exavoir.
...................................................
(District One "Main Group")
"Depends on the assistance."
The one with blue hair was the first to respond with a voice of concern, and caution easily hinted in his breath causing the strangers smile to curl ever slightly more to a devious grin. Though at the time there was no hostile presence exuding from her it was still a wise choice that they didn't immediately trust her. She had indeed found the most likely to survive group which gave her a slight thrill to see how this round of the game played out.

"What can one lone person offer a group?" Mitsuko rose an eyebrow, a glare in her eyes and her mouth already curving downwards. "Unless you're offering to join, but you seem perfectly at ease being by yourself. Maybe it is us that have something you want."
"My, my, my such a rude child. One should never doubt what another can give especially when it comes to knowledge. For what a group may think it knows one may truly know," she responded twirling her cane lazily in her left hand as she turned her hidden face at Mitsuko. Such a offensive child the red head one was... her weapon matched her pretty well though especially when noted how she held it. Clearly she must have had actually experience with its kind to adjust to its long range so fast. Then there was the blue haired boy his weapons type was apparently firearms for the most part, and he was known to have clashed, and survived numerous encounters with Rika. Then again this was what... his fifth time playing much of his original strength was probably gone at this point.

"Hello miss! Its really nice of you to help us, thanks. Do you know why we're here? The phone said something about a game but I don't want to play. It seems too scary for me."
"Unfortunately young one no one ever opted to be apart of the game, and no one can opt out... without dying of course," there was a disturbing note on that last part of her sentence a cruel twisted feeling that wasn't very... human. She then out of the blue clapped her hands together as she kept her cane held within her armpit as she melodically added.

"I am what you children will learn to call a Collector. Yet I don't believe in sullying my hands unfairly in the first round. So since I see you all as the most likely to survive candidates I'll offer you a chance to ask any questions you may like before round one ends... and the real game ~begins~."

Kyouko felt the looming presence of the woman, dread settling in on her. She felt suffocated and weak, but she knew that this woman wasn't to be trusted. She decided to stay quiet, the others voicing her thoughts. That was when Amber spoke up, reckless as expected of a child. When the word "dying" escaped the woman's lips, Kyouko leaped to Amber's side, shielding her with her arm. She stared the woman down. Well, Kyouko couldn't be certain that this woman would attack them, but saying something like that directly to Amber made Kyouko severely uneasy about the whole subject. Death...

" 'Any' questions, you say? You will answer anything we want to know? Are there any questions you're not allowed to answer?" Kyouko wanted to make sure that this woman wasn't playing tricks on them. Not like they could trust her at all... but if she promised to be completely truthful, maybe there was some more credibility to her words.

I don't trust this woman longer than I can throw her but damn... we have no choice but to listen to her, have we? She's the only person who might know something...

"... Fine. I understand that we're trapped here, and that we're forced to play this game by some unknown entity... but why are we here? Why us?" Kyouko decided to go with a simple question for now. Were they chosen randomly? From their abilities? Personalities? Ages? Areas they lived in? There were so many factors, and so far, aside from their apparent memory loss, they didn't all have something in common. Nothing tied them together. At first glance, that would seem like a random targeting... but it didn't feel random, at all. Just like now, with this woman in front of them, it felt even less random. If there's something they haven't been told, maybe this whole thing wasn't random after all.

They were perhaps not just a bunch of kids from here and there thrown into the haywire that was this world. This world where their memories were gone and they had to fight to get them back.

Exavior subtly sighed as he held his hand out, the chakram arching back in its path through the air to find itself captured once more in his free hand, he looking over to the two other fragmented that had come due to Shujo's signaling. All seemed to be going well enough to plan.
"Thanks for the complement," he started as he looked over to what seemed to be the leader of the rescue effort, "but that was hardly anything. I really should have been more careful with myself..." A slight smile formed, pulling at the corners of the male's lips as he let himself relax slightly, his bladed weapons slowly fizzling away into the same mist that had summoned them into being.

Shujo, once 'saved' by the very person she was supposed to be escorting at this point, would have just as soon liked to take a break herself, she running low on energy from not having eaten as of yet, and having fought, run, and dabbled in a bit of parquor, all before the day had come to its close. That is, if this crazy place ever did have a night. She looked over to Exavior, giving a slight nod of thanks before looking to the two who had come to rescue them, she recognizing them as being a couple who had been amongst the crowd before everyone had dispersed from the wolf attack.
"Dont thank us for staying alive! Thank yourself for coming to keep us that way!" she responded to the male who had just as soon introduced himself as Jack. Camille had yet to speak, but such was just as well, as there seemed to be little time to speak with the way Jack put his urgings to get going.

With a nod, the raven haired male stretched his legs out a bit in anticipation of the run.
"I recover quickly, though right now, I can only run short distances. Dont worry, though, I will be most useful to you covering our hinds. Do you have a camp already set with supplies? I know a few places to get some goods. This place may be hell in disguise, but it is survivable."

Nodding lightly towards the two Camille couldn't as easily relax from the events that had happened. Looking around to get a clue where the lioness had went she noticed the blinking light of distress was gone. It was an easy conclusion to make that the two they had now met was the ones. The girl she had met at the starting spot, though she had never gotten her name.

While she was trying to think of a reasonable way to say 'hi' to her the man spoke. Listening to his suggestions she frowned softly for a moment. Hadn't the text message said it was a new game session? She wasn't sure, but since the ones behind this had apparently tampered with their memories who was to say for certain that they could remember previous participation? And obtain so much intel already? Putting away the unsettled feelings she instead nodded in the general direction of where the other group had gone. "That is as of yet uncertain, for now it is probably for the best to regroup with the others." Keeping the cards in her hand she added simply: "As for providing back-up, I can manage for now. Leaving it to an injured person is unreasonable." That, and his words made her unsettled. Could she really trust this man?

Amber's eyes bugged at the woman. She had to die to get out of this? Wasn't this a game? You don't die when you play games! Amber started hyperventilating. She bearly noticed when Kyouko jumped in front of her, Amber wanted Jack right now. He made her feel safe and calmed her down. Falling to her knees, Amber started to cry.

"Why are we here! I don't want to play this game! What did we do to deserve this!" After that Amber started to cry harder.

Nagito Shoriya
Jigsaw with Modern Armory & The Perfect Killer

Well, at least she wasn't trying too hard to lure them into a false sense of security; anyone who would have trusted such a smirk deserved the almost inevitable knife in the back. As he glanced towards his "comrades" it was nice to see that the majority seemed to be on their guard. Well except for Amber, but that was about as much as expected. He bit back any reaction towards the naive girl and Mitsuko's slightly antagonizing words, but wasn't able to stop his expression from darkening as the lady spoke again. Each sentence seemed to stoke his anger and fray at the edge of his focus. Amber's sudden breakdown didn't help recollect it in the slightest either.

He was not about to take another trip down memory lane, not now, and the encroaching blackness at the edges of his vision could fuck off. At the moment he didn't particularly care about his memories of Collectors; they were ghosts of the past that Shoriya couldn't allow to cripple him right now. Yet will power hadn't been enough to hold back the recollections the last few times, and it didn't seem to be enough as his body began to tremble. He needed a shock to reset his head, push back whatever memories wanted to swallow him at the moment, and the dull throb in his arm seemed like a good place to start.

A fresh wave of pain blew away the recollections, dominating his mind for a brief moment after he slammed the firearm against his injured arm. In their place was the red hot sensation of pain as blood began to seep into the bandages once more, but that was at least something he could work with. Unbidden, he'd fallen to his knees from the brief lapse of awareness, but he got to his feet without a sound. A glance at the Collector in front of him reminded him of the anger that simmered just underneath, but he forced it down and its influence away. It wasn't hard to guess why her presence was enough to set him off, but it was also fairly easy to see the outcome that would occur if he provoked her.

The others seemed to want context or reasonings, but those were ultimately useless to them at the moment. The knowledge on how they had ended up in this mess might let some of them to sleep better, but it'd do nothing to help them reach a position where rest was possible. So rather than focus on the fluff of their circumstances, Shoriya went straight for the "important" bits. There were plenty of questions to be answered, but how many and which ones would she answer?

Collecting his thoughts also gave Shoriya a bit of time to collect his composure so that when he did finally speak, it was with a tired but even tone. 'Best to stay away from anything that might count as a betrayal for her...' So despite really wanting to ask how they were supposed to get their memories back, he asked, "Can you explain more about these?" He raised his opened left hand so the "tattoo" on the palm was easily visible before continuing, "How can we get more of them? Is there anyway to make them more efficient or stronger?"

(District One)
" 'Any' questions, you say? You will answer anything we want to know? Are there any questions you're not allowed to answer?"

"... Fine. I understand that we're trapped here, and that we're forced to play this game by some unknown entity... but why are we here? Why us?"

"There are some questions I wont be able to answer that is a fact, but its not cause I don't want to answer its because I can't. Even though some of us Collectors have been here for extreme amounts of time there are still many things he haven't been able to comprehend about this "world", and the "Game" played within it," She spoke honestly as she turned her hidden face slightly over to the girl asking the questions. Just like the blue haired boy this girl could use firearms which in particular circumstances gave them a advantage especially in District Zero, and District One. Firearm users, however past that point... usually got overconfident, and were killed past those districts for many "reasons".

"Why you? You ask such a interesting question sweetie," the female Collector chuckled at the girl's second question as if finding it humorous that she didn't already know the answer to it. Then again for most it did take awhile before it clicked in, but since there was no rush the Collector was going to have a little fun teasing the girl with the answer strung right above her head out of reach. Yet the taunting would not last long as another question presented in a rather tearful way seemed to pull enough wait on the Collector for a response.

"Why are we here! I don't want to play this game! What did we do to deserve this!"
"For the same reason we all are both Fragmented, and Collector. It is why you awoke in the parking lot of District Zero, tis what made you curious about the stickers, and your surroundings. Its what drives you to find "it", and its what gives you the desire to strike me now," That last line was clearly directed at Nagito as the female Collector turned toward him with a brief smile as she watched him keep himself under control. Oh how bad it would have ended for this boy had Rika gotten into the first round... luckily for him she wasn't, and would continue not to be for awhile... well if he was lucky.

"Your memories are what brought you here, and your memories are what you must get back if you wish to leave this world," she finally answered in full gripping her cane as she sauntered slowly to the building she had jumped off of, and leaned against the wall before two more questions were presented to her.

"Can you explain more about these?"

"How can we get more of them? Is there anyway to make them more efficient or stronger?"

"The source of all your powers, and the thing that will keep you alive against the static, and us of course. I am sure you have already experienced the after effects though so do be cautious of how you choose to use them. Oh the ones you have now can indeed get stronger, but I wont say how that will reveal itself if you stay alive long enough which at this point I know you will," she chuckled again in her strange giggling way before she added more to her answer.

"Oh their is a way, but I wouldn't recommend it a human body can only handle three stickers at most, and as you can see once you get one it becomes a permanent part of you. Most of you will either have one or two already as for a extra... you would have to infiltrate the factor in district two, or... kill a Collector, and take our powers," she answered with a eager, and rather venomous guilty pleasure. She was willingly giving them information most Collectors were still not even aware about, and why... cause she wanted to see what they would do.

"However while you could go, and do all that stuff if you want to get out of here, and fast I would recommend avoiding my kind, and doing what the cellphones ask of you as quick as possible. Mr. Anonymous will guide you to what you must do to survive pray tell you all survive."

"Dont thank us for staying alive! Thank yourself for coming to keep us that way!"
"Fair enough," Jack responded with a upbeat smile just happy to know they were both fine at this time. Thankfully no one had suffered any damage at this time, and were all ready to get moving on from this dreary place. That was when the male of the rescued group spoke up with words of knowing of a few places to claim supplies... that oddly put Jack at a bit of unease, and from Camille's facial expressions, and response to him guarding their rears she was probably having the same thoughts. Was it possible he was a survivor of these games, or was he possibly something far worse... no as much as the guys response, and rather quick recover from limping did disturb Jack that wasn't the issue the fact was one of those Static things had escape, and he was positive it was going to come back.

"Well for now lets just get moving I don't want to be here when more of those Static creatures return," Jack responded motioning both the rescued teens to move first while Camille, and himself would guard them from behind in case of any future attacks... that way as well Jack could keep a eye on this new guy without letting him think they were questioning his motives... for now at least.

"Hey Camille how many of those sticker things you got on ya," Jack suddenly asked out of the blue as he started to move forward... it was odd now that he had thought about it he seemed to be the only one that he knew off that had a second one of those sticker things. Yet at the same time he had no idea what the second one could do... maybe he should test it out once they regrouped with the others.
