Fr@gm3n+5: Do You Find It Hard To Remember?(IC)

Camille had moved closer to the group with Shoriya, Mitsuko and the others, but paused when they had gotten the attention of the static wolves. "Yes, we should. Answering Mitsuko she changed her stance to accomodate freer throws she took a steadying breath and picked out the cards, 2 and 4. Centering herself she threw the two cards with an improved aim at two of the wolves aiming for Shoriya's group.

These cards would hit and she was sure now that her 'weapon' was more suitable for support combat, fighting on the frontlines with only a part of a deck of cards was pure idiocy. "Six cards left," muttering softly to herself she kept track of her cards out of habit, momentarily wondering why she was doing so. Putting the thoughts out of her mind she focused on the present, she didn't want to die. Not yet.

LINA DONNELLY
COLLECTOR
NEGATIVE DISTRICT

"Nothing's changed really." Lina studied her maps she'd gone to retrieve as she re-entered her look out. "Same buildings, same places... not a lot of creativity in this place." She quickly ran up the stairs, taking two at a time. The tapping on the window quickly caught her attention and Lina opened it to let her static scout in the room. It took a few minutes for it to relay the information it'd gotten while circling around the city but in the end, Lina wasn't too surprised with the results. "A death this early huh? Good, maybe this game won't be so hard this time around. But still no sign of the other Collectors?" She sighed before carefully folding up the maps and stuffing them in her pocket. "Oh well. Lead me to the Fragmented." She picked up the bird and launched it into the sky before following it herself.

Running had always felt natural to her even in this unearthly realm. Dashing through an alley here, vaulting over a fence there, Lina never slowed in her advance as she kept her eyes locked onto the static bird acting as her guide towards the Fragmented. She noticed that they were nearing the boundaries of District 0, which made her realize the Fragmented had not gone far from their original positions. Were they being occupied by something? They certainly seemed more organized from her previous games, where many Fragmented had chosen flight over fight. Still, Lina didn't expect much. Just like the previous games, one had fallen to a mere Static creature - and in the very beginning as well.

Occupied in her thoughts, Lina realized the bird had stopped moving too late. She skid across the concrete floor before she let her momentum carry her further out of sight and behind another house. She'd only caught a quick glance of the group of Fragmented but from what she'd seen they'd already known how to activate their stickers and were making short work of a group of wolves. She hoped they hadn't seen her and slowly peeped around the corner, hand above her tattoo to activate her own abilities if needed.

Until now she hadn't really thought of a plan to take their memories and now seeing them united as a group, Lina's usual plan of taking them one by one wasn't really in the realm of possibilities. Unless... Lina thought to herself, biting her lip. Though they appeared to be organized, they couldn't know what she knew about the game, having been only recently released into the District. Infiltration didn't seem impossible but for now, Lina would simply observe them before doing anything else. At this distance discovery was always a risk but she kept her invisibility ready to be activated at a moment's notice.

(District Zero)

'This is too much! I want to go home! Any where but here, please! I'm sorry if I did something to deserve this. I promise I'll be good from now on!'.

"I-I'm sorry for crying like a baby, I just needed to get out. Its nice to meet you Jack, did that . . . thing hurt you? I'm . . . sorry for distracting you before."
"...No its alright kid. Better to let it out now while you still can," Jack spoke softly finally able to push away his own pain at the moment for the child's sake. He patted her on the head with a grin to try, and cheer her up of course she would probably see through it, but it was worth a shot.

"Oh this scratch no worries kid something tells me I have been worse for wear before, and much worse probably," he chuckled her worries off as he dusted himself off as he suddenly became alert to the sounds of gun shots. Were there others near by? With a sudden look of confidence he looked to Amber giving her a thumbs up.

"Well Amber lets go see if we can go find some others for now alright? Then we can worry about all this insanity later," he suggested as a took her hand, and started to lead her quietly toward the noise of the fight, and while it seemed insane to go near the sound of hostility with a child it was even more insane to expect the two of them alone would last long in this insane world.
............................................................
With each passing moment the group of fighters started to thin out the pack of wolves one by one until there was only about three left. Yeul's scythe pierced into the body of a unexpecting static bringing the number suddenly to two as another was suddenly shot to a sudden end by one of Kyouko's bullets as the last static was brought down by Mitsuko's blunt force. For a moment there was complete silence before the sound of wind passed by signaling to them that the threat had momentarily passed.

Not bad at all, was the thought that passed through the Collectors thoughts as "she" continued to observe the seemingly well knitted group. If "she" waited to long another Collector would soon find them, and trying to steal their memories, but at the moment "she" felt like observing a little longer wouldn't hurt besides seeing someone else test them would be great. That way "she" could observe how they would react to a Collector, and could see how well they could handle a... "intelligent, and skilled" opponent.

She was about to move observing points when she suddenly felt another two energy sources nearing them... it seemed to more Fragments were not to fair away... not to fair away at all. For now "she" would keep using this observing point just to be safe. Once they would start moving "she" would as well.
........................................
"Looks like we just missed the action," Jack lightly mumbled allowed as he, and Amber finally found the scene of the fight, or what was left of it for better terms. From what he could tell that blue hair kid in the middle seemed to have banded the other people around him together which meant there was no a group of "Fragments" that was not acting on fear.

"We better go join them looks like the blue boy knows his stuff... HEY WATCH OUT FROM ABOVE," Jack suddenly yelled his lungs out at the sight of a Static Wolf leaping from atop a roof diving straight for Shoriya. Jack started to mad dash forward still holding onto Amber, but with the distance, and Ambers ability to move he would never make it as time stood still with the Static Wolfs mouth opening wide aiming to take a life ending bite out of the blue haired kid.

Nagito Shoriya / Jigsaw / Modern Armory and The Perfect Killer
Kyouko (@MiNaGi) might have noticed something earlier, but everybody after the attack.
'Well damn...' He was impressed as he kept an eye on his "comrades" and how readily they took up positions to limit the wolves' avenues of attack. "We'll move wh-" he tried to reply to the purple-firearm wielder, but a sharp pain nearly caused him to drop his own weapon as his grip faltered. Try as he might he couldn't keep his head from actually slumping as memories flowed into his mind unbidden and most certainly unwelcome at the moment. 'What the?' His last thought sprung forth as he noticed something just at the edge of his vision, an individual past the pack of wolves where Nagito was certain none of the Fragments had run.

He couldn't be sure of whether he was awake or asleep, but nothing felt concrete. Sight came in flashes, glimpses of paintings covered in splotches that blotted out more than less. Sound was indistinct and filled with white noise, distorting what it didn't drown out completely. What he did hear painted a desperate fight to survive: the discharge of many different firearms, the schlick as steel parted flesh, all against a background of ever growing animalistic and monstrous sounds. The sounds of resistance grew fainter, punctuated with screams and death cries, and then Nagito felt it. It didn't matter how little sense it made, but he felt as if he was the center of attention; dream or memory, his presence was somehow recognized.

Nagito jolted back to wakefulness with a start as the moment passed and almost instantly took notice of the growing shadow around his own. 'Shit,' he realized his grip had slackened enough that the firearm barely maintained its form; its edges were indistinct and smoke leaked from it. Instinctively he realized that the weapon wouldn't function at the moment even as his hand tightened around it to re-anchor the piece, he spun and threw an arm up to shield himself.

The pain caused him to gasp out, but he managed to hold back any other reaction as he allowed himself to be thrown back against the ground to bleed away the creature's momentum. Before the Static could do anything else, Nagito jammed the MP5's muzzle, now fully solid once more, against its flank and pulled the trigger. Three sharp cracks rang out before he stopped and he flung his hand to the side to shake off the dissipating creature.

He sat up, rubbed the back of his head with the firearm-holding hand, and grimaced as he looked at the fresh wound on his left arm. "Well shit," he muttered rather coldly as he began to test the range of motion he still had with the injured limb. It was obvious that pain would be basically constant, but limited exertion was still possible at the least. He switched the firearm to the injured hand to simply maintain its existence before he began to work on dressing the wound; unbuttoning the vest and shrugging it off to use it as dressing. As he folded the blue fabric on itself and began to wrap it Nagito noticed his hands begin to shake.

'Shit...' The realization that he had literally brushed with death began to settle in, but when he looked up and saw the six others that had gathered around him he realized they had done so with a reason. To break down, in anyway really, wasn't acceptable nor beneficial, so with several deep breaths he forced himself to get it under control. "Anyone have something to tie this up?" he finally asked as he held the dressing in place with his hand, unwilling to destroy his shirt as well if he could avoid it. He didn't let the question hang for too long as he got to his feet and looked to the four, surprisingly all young ladies, and thanked them for the assistance. Addressing the six that seemed to have banded around himself, he nodded in the opposite direction of where they'd all started. "Nagito, Shoriya," he introduced himself rather quickly before he continued, "We need to move, intros can come during. I wouldn't be surprised if we've drawn unwanted attention."

She stiffened, pausing for a moment as she saw this stranger almost being eaten by the Static. By the time she had gathered herself and pulled out a card to throw on the Static the young man had protected himself just in time. Releasing a shaky breath she joined them in time to hear the request for something to tie up the dressing and for him to introduce himself.

Remembering that her hair was actually in a ponytail she pulled out the simple hairtie, releasing her long, hazel hair from it's controlled state. "Will this do?" Holding out the hairtie to Shoriya she added, addressing the whole group. "And my name is Camille Ainsworth." Letting her grip on the few cards she held go the cards disappeared in smoke, leaving her unarmed for the time being.

Kyouko wished she had taken the fears to heart. She had decided to ignore it, and when they were finally "done" with their fighting, Nagito was actually attacked by one of the static wolves. Kyouko was exhausted and couldn't reach him in time. In a moment of brief shock, she thought he would die. But the shock was different from a usual shock. Usually, it would paralyze you and make you scared, but the shock Kyouko felt was quite different. It was the kind of shock that set her feet moving, cleared her mind.

She was relieved to see that the wound wasn't deadly, and when Camille offered her hairtie, Kyouko took action.

"I know how to tie those, I'll do it." She said, waiting patiently for Camille to give the hairtie. After a few seconds, she did, and Kyouko crouched down by Nagito's side, dropping her gun on the ground, stubbornly wrapping the band around Nagito's arm and tying it tight. "It should do for now. We should do our best to find something more useful later." When she was done, she stood up, putting her right hand over her heart as a kind of greeting.

"My name's Kyouko Kirigiri." She said as she looked down at the ground. The gun had disappeared into thin air, and she now knew that dropping them would be absolutely fatal. She grit her teeth, clenching her fist. "We need to get out of here, and that in a hurry."

She looked over her shoulder, in the direction where she had seen a blob of creatures. She hoped that they had disappeared now, but the headache she had indicated that the power she had used before would be useless right now. She sighed as she rubbed her hands together. She hadn't taken off her gloves even once yet. Something about the way they itched and scratched made her scared to see it. But would she remember something if she looked at it? It was a constant dilemma.

All she knew about herself was that she was used to being alone, and this would be the first time she worked in a group. She also knew that she had an amount of medical knowledge, not to mention an instinct to fight down and avoid danger. It was painful, not knowing yourself. She fell to her knees despite having just stood up for a few minutes, nails digging into the sides of her head. She was so close to remembering something, so, so close, and it ran away from her. In her confused and dazed state, she took off one of her gloves, and her eyes widened. A memory flooded her. Useful or not, she did not know.

There was a man standing across from her. She tried moving her arms, but her hands were tied. The room was dark, but she could see that there was a window to her left. The curtains were pulled over it.
He was coming towards her with something in his hands -
a bottle -
and then he -
She screamed as the pain rose from her arms to her entire body.

The memory stopped there, and she widened her eyes. Burn marks... chemical burns. Someone had poured acid on her hands? Had she ever been abducted by someone? Why would someone abduct her? Before anyone could really see what her burnt and scarred hand looked like, she dragged the glove back on.

Well, that was quite the horrible idea. "I apologize... this whole thing, it's, it's quite upsetting. I'm alright now." She hoped that people hadn't been worried or had just not seen her. She didn't need sympathy right now. It wouldn't happen again. Now she had the bits and pieces of that memory, and looking at her hands wouldn't trigger the same thing twice.

Mitsuko Shiki | Jack in the Box | District Zero
The man's shout of warning towards the boy hadn't reached them in time, and Mitsuko's chest tightened as she saw the static wolf lunge downwards onto the blue-haired boy. None of the girls who were close nearby could reach him, much less Mitsuko. She held her breath, holding her own weapon in a ready stance as the other wolves had already been downed - it seemed that they were pretty competent. When the wolf pounced and reached its target, she heaved a shaky sigh of relief at the quick - and vicious - reaction the boy gave, the three shots ringing in the air serving to calm her down instead of agitate her further.

One boy earlier had already died earlier. She still didn't know what to feel about that, and she could imagine how this boy must have felt at his brush with death. He had left the encounter with a cut on his arm, and she noticed his hands begin to shake slightly. Approaching him with two other girls, the one with the purple firearm and the young woman with the strange cards, she nodded. The action was slightly jerky, a betrayal of her own nerves at the situation. At the others' introduction, she nodded shortlly. "Mitsuko Shiki," her voice was a little curt towards the others, but she couldn't help it.

This situation was out of her control and Mitsuko didn't like it, not one bit. The violence earlier didn't really disturb her so much as it raised her hackles and her self-preservation, though she was still startled and bewildered at how it had ended up like this. While the shock was still there, Mitsuko knew how to compartmentalize her own feelings - and so the shock went to the back of her mind, ignored until for later. She wasn't unused to violence, that much she could feel. She wouldn't hesitate to attack or hit back, for one, since she wasn't the type to hesitate.

She said nothing more about the need to hurry, the others had already flat out said it, and took a look around the place as Ainsworth gave her hairtie to Shoriya, which Kirigiri soon helped tie up around the bandage on the boy's arm. Where was that man who had shouted the warning to them? Her eyes flicked around the room, passing over the other close girl, who also had - guess what - blue hair - and soon settled upon a young man. He didn't seem much older than her, and he was with another, much younger girl. Not knowing what to say, she settled for raising her hand to call the man and the girl's attention, before motioning them to come nearer.

A slight sound in front of her made her turn back to look again. Kirigiri had fallen to her knees for a few moments, and Mitsuko's eyes zeroed in on the telltale shock on the purple eyed girl's features, the slight paling of her face and the widening of her eyes. Kirigiri seemed to be seeing something. "Kirigiri?" She asked, a little awkwardly as the girl still stayed kneeling on the ground. It wasn't for long, though, and at her words, Mitsuko gave Kirigiri an intent stare for a few seconds, trying to puzzle out what had just happened. Upsetting, you say? "Well, it's upsetting for everyone," the bitter words slipped from her lips, not quite antagonistic, but quite unhappy before she could stop it, accompanied with a slightly sarcastic laugh as she shook her head. We're not even sure what the fuck is up with this game and those wolves, and someone just damn near died in front of us. Again. Upsetting? Along with a whole lot of others, hon. "Never mind. Let's just go." Mitsuko looked away, frowning at the ground. Unlike the others, she was still holding on to her naginata. She couldn't quite let it go yet, since the others were currently unarmed, though she knew that with a touch of their stickers it could be helped.
Yeul | Jigsaw | District Zero
Yeul was a little disappointed when the scythe plunged into the static wolf's side, the strange creature letting out a startled yelp before dissipating. It was too clean, and she hadn't even seen any blood from the wolf. That left a strangely unsatisfied feeling for the young girl, as if her weapon had failed her and it still hadn't done its true purpose - she had wanted to see more. She approached the spot where the static had disappeared before someone shouted, and she idly looked in that direction. A young man was frantically warning someone, and she followed his gaze.

Oh. It was the blue haired boy, and there was a static wolf leaping for him. Even if one of us tries to run for him, the wolf will still reach him first, she thought, and watched. It would be a little sad if another person died like earlier, it would be a waste of life. Yeul wondered if she should think the same way about those static wolves, and gave a mental shrug. Those wolves would be bad, right? Since they tried to kill humans. And Yeul was a human, it automatically made her against them. And she... Didn't really like seeing a person die, either. It left an unpleasant taste in her mouth.

Well, it turned out the boy could take care of himself, not that she hadn't seen that earlier with his gun. She was a little impressed at how the boy had rammed the gun against the wolf's flank, then pulled the trigger. Three shots, and soon he was pushing off the quickly dissipating static off of him, and sitting up. Yeul noticed the red streaking on his arm, and realized he had been injured. She watched as he started to wrap cloth around his arm, and approached the others closer.

Miss Ainsworth seemed like a nice lady, giving her hair tie like that to help Mister Shoriya. And Miss Kirigiri was really nice too, kneeling down beside him to help him tie it all up. The only one who didn't seem so nice was Miss Shiki, who seemed to have a scowl on her face as she looked around. "I'm Yeul," she murmured, giving them all a small, kind smile. "I don't know why I'm here, but it's nice to meet all of you." Her voice was perfectly placid and unhurried as she watched Kyouko tend to Shoriya.

"Miss Kirigiri?" Yeul gave the older girl a quizzical and concerned look, and soon drew closer to her. Kyouko seemed upset about something, and when she stood up Yeul looked up at her. She didn't really look fine, but if she was going to say that, Yeul was going to listen. Besides, she was starting to feel a little strange. Like something was draining, though the calm, crisp feeling the sticker on her chest gave her still didn't disappear. Maybe she should let go of her chain scythe for now, as the others had also done the same - that is, most except Mitsuko. The redhaired girl looked like she wasn't going to let go of her polearm for sometime.

Shujo Mishana
Pixel
District Zero -> District One
{Outskirts}

With adrenaline flooding her veins, clouding any judgement that the girl had, Shujo broke free of the group of other people that she had been running with, the sounds of fighting growing much more quiet by this point. She could almost imagine that it had stopped, though she knew that couldn't be the case. She was now upon the very outskirts of the cityscape, finding herself in a very slum like place, full of back-alleys and broken down homes. The sounds of gunshots and cries echoed across the stone walls and empty alleys, casting an eerie air to the place, and yet, a strangely calm sense. With a sudden chill coming over her, Shujo pulled her arms across her chest, walking down one of the alleys, looking around apprehensively.
'It must be overcast.... Well.... More so than it already is....' she thought drearily as she made her way down the small space she had assigned for herself. Her footsteps soon became the only sound to surround her in accompaniment to her slightly shaky, shallow breathing. As she found her way further into the alley, the light from the sky and outside world grew dimmer until she was in total darkness. Once the darkness befell her, though, she didnt move a single step more. Tension had ensnared her in a thick web of anxious energy, and for good reason. From the darkness came a deep, rumbling roar. After a few seconds of processing the fact that a roar could be danger, Shujo turned on her heel and ran for the opening of the alley, hoping she wasnt being followed. Just to be sure, however, she ducked down another alley further away, catching her breath and calming her racing heart. A faint groan pulled her attention away from herself though. As she looked over to the source of the sound, she found a man, a bit older than herself, though not overly much so. He was injured, and didnt seem to be awake, or conscious for that matter, calling to question what had happened here. Did he have a run in with whatever it was that she had just run from? Slowly approaching, Shujo knelt down beside him and lightly shook his shoulder.
"Hey... Are you alright...?"

Exavior Mishana
Collector
District One {Outskirts}

Having prepared well enough for any passing fragment, Exavior decided that he would lightly rest. He didnt leave himself defenseless, however, as he had many static in the nearby alleyways, ready to drive a straggler right to him. And so such happened. He had just started to wake up, groaning slightly as he shifted. Very soon after, a small hand could be felt upon his shoulder, lightly shaking him. Eyes lightly fluttering open ever so slightly, Exavior groaned again, closing his eyes once more rather tightly.
"Watch out... behind you..." he muttered slightly, he finally opening his eyes once more to see the girl turn around abruptly, a deep growl sounding out before there was a loud roar, a static formed lioness blocking the entrance of the alley. Fear visibly passed through the dark haired girl, she quickly getting up and looking around, a faint breeze causing the baggy folds of her clothes the flutter, showing off the sticker that was on her back as her shirt neck was just low enough to allow. A staff, made black with red highlights in it, surrounded by a black sort of mist, or maybe even a circle. The sight was breif. So much so that Exavior couldnt figure everything out at once. He slowly got himself up, feigning being injured rather well, groaning and wincing whenever he put too much pressure on one of his legs, and leaning rather heavily against one wall. The girl looked about ready to fight instead of taking the logical route and fleeing, causing the male so scoff at her slightly.
"Wouldnt it be better to get to a better vantage point? This is far too closed of a space for me to be fighting in, and unless you have a close quarter combat weapon, then we're both screwed." He said as he looked around, taking note of the spacing of the walls. The girl turned her gaze upon him, looking to be even more angered by his saying something, or perhaps angered by the logic and her newfound inability to do anything. In either case, she took a few steps back into the darkness before running at a full sprint towards the lioness that had continued it's advance, only to jump up, planting one foot upon the nearest wall and kicking herself up to the building adjacent, only barely able to grasp the ledge with her fingertips, but quickly working her way up so as not to loose grip and fall to a rather untimely demise. She then reached to touch her back, summoning her sticker weapon, a staff, as if it werent obvious enough from the imagery of the sticker itself. She leaned over the ledge, holding the staff down for Exavior to grasp, something he quickly did and used to help climb up the wall, sitting upon the edge once he had succeeded. From their higher position, they could now see that there were three other lionesses that were quickly approaching and that they would soon be surrounded. There werent many fragmented nearby, and even so, the ones that were seemed to be quite a ways off.
"Well then.... Now what do we do, genious...?" asked the girl as she stood up, pacing the rooftop.
"I suggest you calm your nerves and that we wait. These are strong, and not easy to kill... I've been wandering the outskirts of the city for days before having been attacked... I couldnt get far enough away and was lucky that you found me...." He said as he lightly rubbed his neck, looking down at the prowling, circling static creatures. The idea of simply waiting didnt seem to settle well with the girl, however, as she huffed, continuing to pace.
"Something has to be done... We cant just sit up here forever. Maybe we can signal for some of the other people I woke up with? I mean, with you in your condition, you'll need medical care soon."
Exavior sighed, conceding to her request, laying back upon the roof and closing his eyes again.
"Do as you wish. It's your life." he said softly, unable to see the girl having picked up a shard of glass and begun to flash it back and forth over the nearest group of fragments, using a light signal to show that she was up there.

Amber could tell Jack was just acting okay for her sake, but she didn't want to face that fact. Everything didn't make sense, why were they here? Is there a way out? Amber pushed these thoughts aside, they wouldn't help anyone by distracting herself. When the two of them came across the group of people, Amber hid slightly behind Jack. She didn't feel comfortable with these new people, it wasn't that they seemed bad Amber just wanted to be cautious.

"Hello, my name is Amber. Are you guys okay? Those wolfs are really scary and it was super close to you." The guy's arm didn't look too good and what little they did to fix up his arm didn't seem to help much. What if those things came back? 'Amber, if those things come back then we'll deal with it. No panicking, Jack said everything is alright. You have to trust that, calm down.'

(District Zero)

"Jack Grener, and I agree we should start moving. Definitely don't need to be staying where they think we are," the teen spoke up after Amber. With everyone's intro out of the way he started to head toward the city before stopping almost immediately after starting as he turned his head to the left noticing a blinking light... was someone signaling them?

"Anyone know Morse code, or whatever its called," Jack spoke up pointing in the direction of the blinking light a few buildings away from them. It was in the direction of the city though more at a angle then the path ahead of them, and while in his mind he wanted to go in that direction to save any other possible Fragments in the back of his mind a thought was bugging him.

"Then again it could be a trap, or worse one of those Collectors... whatever they might be," He added turning to the group to see what they thought about the situation. Anything was possible at this point from what they had all seen, but in this city, or wherever they were one thing was clear someone alone would not last long at all.

............................................................
"Oh what's this now," the well dressed Collector lightly chimed at the sight of a blinking light not to far off in the distance from District One. It seemed the Fragments "they" were originally watching had also noticed the strange signal. Luckily for whoever the signaler was the Static would not pic up on the light as they reacted more on sound, and scent. But if a bunch of Fragmented grouped up, and stood still for to long they would be able to target them.

"So what are you going to do newbies," "she" spoke aloud considering whether or not to start planning "his" own slithering to start picking off a few fragments. Round One would end once four more fragments died, and it would be unwise for a collector to not get at least one kill in before the list was redone for the current acting Fragmented.

Nagito Shoriya / Jigsaw / Modern Armory and The Perfect Killer
Interacting with everybody basically.
Or they could come right now he supposed, it didn't really bother him all too much. The redhead was easily recognizable as the first to have joined his impromptu party, if not by the weapon than by her attire. Then again it wasn't as if any of them had any choice in what they had woken up in. "A pleasure," he replied with a quick nod before he turned to the others, his attention easily leaving Mitsuko.

Nagito was about to reach out to grab the offered elastic, but was instead surprised when the purple haired girl beat him to it. It was… pleasant he supposed, and he raised the wounded arm so she could tie up the dressing more easily without complaint. His head tilted just slightly to the side as her hands twisted and wrapped the band in place, but his expression gave away little. When she finished he gave the band a slight tug to test it before he finally looked back at the two and dipped his head. "Thank you both." While unnecessary, he braced himself with his left arm and was actually pleased, despite the grimace, that it managed to actually support his weight as he stood.

"And I wish it was better circumstances," he directed towards Yeul with yet another small nod. Out of the four that had come to his side she was the oddity in his mind, and he didn't know if that was a good thing. Her weapon was obviously the one that required the most skill to use of the five that had fought, though he supposed it was possible that the chain scythe came with knowledge of how to handle it. Still… it wasn't exactly normal for anybody to wield a weapon that had such a high chance for self-injury so calmly and yet that was exactly what she had done. Did she have a secondary ability like his own? Curious...

Just as he had gotten steady on his feet, it seemed that another member of their group had hers swept under from her. With Mitsuko and Yeul already expressing concern, Nagito instead just swapped the firearm back to his dominant hand and began to scan the surroundings for any danger. The moment for the other girl seemed to pass quickly enough, and though he did notice the glove being slipped back on, he didn't bother to pry. His best guess was that it was some sort of flashback or recall like he had just experienced except simply at a more opportune time. There wasn't a need to repeat what the others had already said, so he simply turned to face the urban jungle and nodded for the others to follow. "Mitsuko, directly behind me please." Given that she was the only one he knew of with a melee weapon, its reach, and her competency with it, she'd hopefully be able to cover him well.

It wasn't hard to notice the light signal given that he was on the lookout for signs and details just like that, but after a few moments of observation Nagito replied to Jack, "That's not Morse, probably just be trying to get our attention." While continuing to move he glanced backwards at the six people behind him and asked, "Putting it to a vote, investigate or move on and hopefully find some supplies and shelter. I'm guessing they need help or there's a reason they can't come to us, so if we go we're likely going to run into trouble." Given that the others had formed around him, Nagito was weary about giving his own opinion on the matter out first. Hopefully there wouldn't be a tie that required him to vote as that was a great way to put strain on the hastily formed group.

Kyouko curiously eyed the blinking light as she thought about Nagito's words. They'd all been involved in battle - not only that, but Nagito was also hurt. It would be quite foolish to go, but what if someone died? Then again, there was also the chance that they in their weakened state could all get killed, and that didn't sound rather pleasant either... it was quite the good question. Now, she was not one for killing people, but there wasn't room for foolishness in this illogical world. There was really only one thing that they could do... even if it meant doing something like that to someone who might need help.

"You might not like my saying this, but I think that it would be best to search for shelter for now. I agree with Shoriya, there's a high probability that we'll run headfirst into danger. We've all been fighting with those wolves up until now. There's a chance someone else has been attacked by them, or worse, something more powerful. If we don't stock up and collect our energy, I believe there's a high chance we'll end up dying. If not all of us, then many of us." Kyouko was silent for a few moments as she rubbed her hands together as if she was thinking about something. "I'm not saying that you should choose to do that, but you should know that there's a high chance of immediate danger in that direction."

Not that there wasn't just as much of a chance if they went in the other direction... but she was pretty sure everyone knew that as well. Nothing was certain. This city, the sky, everything around them was just a stage, a stage they'd been cast onto for someone's entertainment. Who or what, she didn't know. But she knew that they had to be mingling in with the props somewhere. These things that chased them. There couldn't be a show without a host, and those wolves had been directed at them. Someone had sent those wolves after them. And what was that silhouette she'd seen with her eagle-like sight just a moment ago? Everything seemed to have a connection, but there was still too many pieces missing to put it all together. She sighed as she looked back, realizing she had been absentmindedly staring at some buildings far off in the distance.

"Someone is trying to control our movements here. I think those wolves aren't even close to the start, and no matter where we go, there could be traps. The question is whether or not we will think of that signal as a trap. If yes, we should move on... if no, there's nothing else to do but go check it out."

Mitsuko Shiki | Jack in the Box | District Zero
Giving Shoriya a searching look, Mitsuko nodded and complied after a few seconds. With her melee weapon, it was only logical that she would cover for him, as he was a firearm-user. Then again, Kirigiri was also used firearms from what she had seen, but only Shoriya seemed to have some variety in what he got. If the way he held his weapon earlier and used it was any indication, he was quite experienced with it. Taking a position behind the boy, she turned her attention to the blue haired girl who he had addressed before her. Mitstuko frowned, staring at the young girl, who was obviously younger than most in this group - aside from Amber - and the expression on her face. If anything, Yeul seemed almost even younger, barely even teenager in looks unless you looked closely. But her expression...

It was too calm. Looking at the girl's small body and the innocent features of her face with those soft cornflower eyes, Mitsuko didn't see any battle-hardened warrior or the slightly haunted, troubled look she could spot in Kirigiri and Shoriya in some way. Yeul was a child, from the innocent way she gave them a kind smile and the way she addressed them, her voice quite childlike. What made that smile and that voice so out of place was the situation they were in. The normal reaction Mitsuko would have expected was fright and worry, or at least act like Amber, who was closest to the blue-haired girl's age and probably younger.

Mitsuko decided not to look into what was up with the girl for now. There was still a possibility Yeul was one of those weird girls who seemed to take almost everything in stride, or possibly just weird, though the redhaired girl doubted it. Still, it was a better thought than the idea that the reason might be something worse.

She looked over to where Jack was referring and narrowed her eyes at the blinking lights. That wasn't Morse code, but the way it blinked repeatedly, almost hurriedly, made it seem like whoever was flashing it was in a hurry - or more likely, in a tight spot. She nodded at Shoriya's words, then agreed after Kyouko. "It's better if we find a shelter first," she put forward. The likeliness that this was a trap was indeed high, and those wolf creatures don't just appear like that. "There will be trouble wherever we go, so we should take time to recover, those stickers seem to cost us energy, and there might be a limit to how long and how often we can use these for periods of time." Then remembering the text message in that phone the first time all of them woke up in this place... Someone is playing a dangerous game. And we're the mice to their cats.

Mitsuko understood Kyouko and Shoriya's hesitance to just move on and not investigate. If that flashing light was call for help, leaving it alone would likely put someone in serious harm. But if they arrived there to even worse trouble than what they faced here, what then? They were in a new, loosely formed group that seemed to look to Shoriya to lead them. They still didn't really know each other's abilities and personalities to work together all that well.

Most might think this was a callous thought, but the girl would rather move on and find supplies with this group. The survival of these immediately close people that she could now put names to was more relevant to her than the survival of someone she didn't know and was further away. That, and she would rather avoid any trouble right now - though Mitsuko meant to find out what was up with this, and get out of whatever game there was alive. Survival was survival.

Yeul | Jigsaw | District Zero
"... Mister Shoriya, we should see if they're fine," the blue haired girl put forward, a little hesitation creeping into her soft voice and the smile slowly receding from her face. Uncertainty and confusion was beginning to set in as whatever had let her keep a calm and unaffected mind earlier slowly receded, leaving the young girl mostly surprised, like earlier when she had woken up, and even a little worried. She was still able to keep her calm, mostly, and curiously watch and listen to the others, but a small, worried look passed through Yeul's features for a moment.

She held onto her chain scythe tighter for a moment, suddenly finding it both comforting and unsettling. How had she been able to use this as well as she had earlier? The weapon was still familiar in her hands, but the confidence to wield it from earlier wasn't as prominent. The scythe looked sinister and the chains ominous, though she had earlier appreciated its design.

"Whoever they are, they might need help. Maybe we could look a little into there without getting too close, until we know for sure," she continued, feeling a little out of place. Most of the people here were older than her, with the exception of Amber, who she shot a friendly smile at. Miss Kirigiri's words gave her some worry. So someone had sent those wolves to them? Why would they send those to attack in the first place? And there will be traps? Miss Shiki's words weren't reassuring either, and the redhaired girl seemed to not particularly care about the flashing lights, except watch it with wariness in her eyes.

Hoshiko Kagami | The Mirror Maiden | District Zero
She looked at the passing images and scenes displayed before her, even as she resided within the plane within her mirrors. Because these scenes and images were reflections cast into her mirrors, they were reversed, though Hoshiko had grown used to telling this apart because of the sheer amount of time she had been here. Her blue eyes settled upon one particular scene, with Fragmented girl approaching a Collector, none the wiser to the Collector's true nature and intentions.

Exavior Mishana seemed to keep up the facade of being just another hapless Fragmented, though he also didn't particularly act friendly to the girl, who used a staff as a weapon. As soon as those lion type Static surrounded the two, the girl had thought quickly and had used a glass shard to signal as much as she could to others who could come to help. The girl didn't know that the glass shards on the ground allowed Hoshiko to see what was happening with her...

The glass that had been laid against the walls to the exit of the Fragmented's starting place was ready, and Hoshiko waited for the remaining Fragmented in there to make her move. There were also some reflective surfaces inside that allowed her snippets of what was happening, and she could make out one notable Fragmented - Nagito Shoriya.

How many times has she played you and tried to break you, Nagito?

So many twisted and cruel games that he had been forced to play over and over, due to a deal he had made. And... the Collector that played with him got vicious enjoyment out of chasing him and pushing him, Hoshiko had seen how many times that had happened. Now, the boy probably had memories that were scattered and wouldn't match up, most likely frustrating him as it had in the previous games. "How many times until you finally fall?" A quiet voice asked, though of course the boy wouldn't hear.

The people that had gathered around the boy already showed that others thought he had potential, or was capable. And he was, though it hadn't been enough in the past times. A red-haired girl that had a small scowl, probably just as anxious and worried like the others despite the way she tried to hide it, a lavender haired girl who had fallen to her knees earlier, looking aghast at whatever memory had played in her mind, a woman who had been able to use cards as weapons, a blue haired girl who had wielded that weapon she had entirely too calmly than was usual. That latest one probably had some secondary ability, and it probably would cost that girl something as time passed.

Then there was the young man who had saved the youngest girl in the group. A heroic type, how admirable. Hoshiko could tell that this particular group was probably going to have the most chance of lasting longest. The naginata user was capable and experienced and their most effective melee type that had some range, though the young man with the gauntlets also had skill. A boxer in his life? The woman with the cards also had experience with fighting with the way she held herself earlier. The lavender haired girl was able to use her guns and seemed to have some sort of ability related to sight, and she was probably the one with the most insight and intuition. They had a good group.

Sadly, Hoshiko had already seen just about all forms of good groups, and in the end, only one - or none - won these games. "Not yet."

Studying the flashing lights she hesitated, she was perhaps the oldest of the group but still she was among the more awkward. "Heading straight into something is like signing under your own death sentence. I think... Someone told me that a long time ago." Frowning lightly her thoughts wandered through the jumble of memories, none of them seemed to fit together and each piece was hard to tell where it belonged. Some gave her the vague idea of early childhood, others made her think of being a teen.

Sighing she let that be and studied the group. Melee, ranged, mid-ranged... All of them had some ability, skill of sticker that gave each of them an edge. She needed to adapt her skills to suit her new weapon, but that could only be done through practice, not thinking. There was Jack who seemed adept at boxing, Shoriya who had the upper hand of variety, Kyoko with her gun, Yeul with the scythe, Shiki with her naginata, she believed it was called that, and Amber whose skills were uncertain. Thoughtfully she took a minor step towards the flashing light, seeing how panicked it was. "Perhaps... A battle formation of some sort? I am not sure yet if we can touch those Static creatures directly to be honest, so perhaps by organizing it by who has which type of weapon and range?" If they could attack directly then perhaps Camille wouldn't be so reliant on the cards?

(District Zero)

It was quickly becoming clear that a majority of the group was against the idea of testing their luck against this "Game", and quite honestly after seeing that one guy get devoured by static along with the fact almost being mauled himself... he couldn't blame them. Yet deep done his mind was begging for him to go see if there was a chance to save that person from a cruel fate. Whatever his past life was it was annoyingly coming clear he was somewhat of a hardheaded heroic type. Though at the same time his mind was telling him going by himself was to dangerous. At least it seemed he wasn't the mental unhinged "You better believe it type"... why did he suddenly think of a ninja in orange clothing?

"...," he was about to protest when the girl Yeul spoke her mind on the matter against the opposition. Unfortunately she was around the same age as Amber so taking her help didn't sit well with his mind. It would be better if Amber, and Yeul stayed with the bigger group which meant he would at least need to convince one person to come with him to at least check it out.

"Alright I agree we are worse for wear with clearly no handle on what the hell is going on, but dropping someone to their death on those facts doesn't suit well with me. Obviously I want to go, but at the same time I figure that equals suicide. However these things alone clearly wont attack numbers, and from here to there it looks like most of the paths are narrow," Jack pointed out to the labyrinth of buildings. He then took a look toward the city pausing as he tried to think of a well suited follow up to possible make a convincing plan.

"Hey big brother lets go to the convenience store I wanna get a slushy as big as you."

"Oh and whose gonna carry something that big for you hm?"

"My big brother who else," a girl ten years younger then him smiled... yet Jack couldn't fully make out her face yet one thing was clear... he had a younger sister, and it seemed she looked up to him. He tried to expand on the thought no... the memory yet the harder he tried the farther it got a away before suddenly it blanket out, and his eyes suddenly went wide open from the sudden pause. For a moment his body held still before all motor function returned, and he barely shook his head from his strange day dream. His eye blinked repeatedly as he was unaware that he had paused in front of everyone for a good minute.

"Um ya... Look here's a idea how about me, and someone else go investigate to at least see whether, or not its a trap or someone needing rescue. If we find that its to risking we will meet back up with the rest of you at that convenience store way over their," Jack said pointing to a location a few good blocks away where a 7/11 sign could barely be seen.

"At worst we come back empty handed, but by then you guys will have secured a place that we can all temporarily hold up for at least a night," Jack said turning back to the group hoping someone... besides Yeul, or Amber would be willing to at least get close enough to see what was happening at the blinking light's location.
............................................................

Oh so they plan to split up now? Maybe I should wait just a little longer I always love a little daring plan to build up, the watcher mentally spoke to "himself" yet now in a unexplained fashion "he" was much closer to the group more then they would ever realize "he" was before. At one time "he" had been on top of the Parking Lot summoning the static wolves to get a view kills in which unfortunately only had gained a single point, but now "he" was lurking in the shadows watching to see what the next move of this intriguing group would be. Besides this was still just the preliminary round in a sense which would end once five Fragmented had been erased, and so far "he" in the Collector games had already gotten a kill so really their was no reason for "him" to fight in this round anymore.
So with that said observing the other Fragmented for now would be the pass time until it seemed like it would be time for so good old sportsman like action to take place.

Nagito Shoriya / Jigsaw / Modern Armory and The Perfect Killer
Nagito was somewhat pleased to see that most of the group was reasonable, even those that advocated an investigation did so with caution on their minds. While the majority wanted to simply move on ahead, he was also reluctant to simply ignore the ones that did wish to investigate. In the end he took a deep breath, steeled his expression, and nodded as if he was finished with listening. "Alright then. If you can find a volunteer then you'll have a partner to scout things out. If not, I'd recommend against going alone Jack, but I won't stop you." The thought of simply walking away was not all that unfathomable, strangely enough.

Though aware of what he guessed was Yeul's disapproval, he ignored it for the moment and continued, "We probably won't bunker down at the store for the night. If you aren't back in an hour or so we'll have to move to a better location. I'll try and leave some signs." With that finished he glanced around to gauge the others' reaction. He didn't want to seem desperate or anything, but he seemed a bit stiff. This was a group of basically strangers and yet he'd basically spoken for them, or at least tried to with their input.

With a quiet and shaky sigh as he turned away, it was nonetheless relaxing as some of the tension bled away. "The rest? We'd better get started," he said as he began to walk towards the 7-11, MP5 resting on his shoulder as he bounced it. The weapon still felt completely solid in his hands, but then again he held onto it with a near death-grip. He'd felt what happened the moment his grip slackened even a tad and could guess the piece wouldn't last for more than a second if he completely let go. A concern, but one he'd have to address when the group had found a "safe haven". He chose this time to reply to Camille if she chose to follow along, "Probably much the same. Jack and Mitsuko will be the front line, me and Yeul will be the middle, while you and Kyouko should probably be in the rear. That all depends on who actually sticks with the group though."

Amber wanted to help the person flashing the light, but was scared of the wolves that could be there. Most of the older kids seemed to have that same fear. The only one who wanted to help was a girl around her age, who gave a wave toward Amber. She also a wave and smile to the blue haired girl. What would happen if they didn't go? Would that person end up like the boy from before? 'But I can't do much, I'd just be in the-' Amber's thought was cut off by a soft, woman's voice.
"Amber, every part of a team is important, no matter how small. It might not seem like it at first, but I'm sure you'll see how much your part means. Now how about we get started on your lesson?"

"Okay mama"

The voices faded away and no matter how hard she tried, Amber couldn't make them clear again. She was so happy and sad at the same time, happy because she heard her mother's voice, sad because she had no memory of her. Taking a quick look around, Amber notice that a bit of time had passed and she had no idea what was going on.

"Jack, did I miss something? Oh, before that, I know what my mama's voice sounds like! Its soft and sweet and I felt so safe when I heard it. Jack I have a mama! Isn't it great?" The whole time Amber was talking she was bouncing and tugging on Jack's arm in excitement.

Absentmindedly nodding Camille was looking at the flashing lights, should she join the scouts? Stick with the group? She looked like she was the oldest so she should at least help the main group... Though her thoughts were disrupted as Shoriya had given his opinion about the issue. Looking over at Jack who was eager to go, the girl Amber who had attached herself to Jack and the leaving group she made a decision.
"I will join Jack to investigate that flashing lights. I can provide back-up at the least." Speaking up she quickly glanced at the flashing, estimating the distance. Would only an hour work? Maybe, if they were fast and didn't have many troubles on the way. Turning she addressed the younger man, feeling it would be necessary to remind him of one important thing: "If it is too much for us to handle then we must retreat right away. Helping others is a good thing, but dying in waste is not something I find particularly bright."

Kyouko had considered joining them, but she wasn't sure what they were up against, and when her energy would run out. Before she could say anything, however, Camille offered to go, and she refrained from saying anything. She'd stay with the group and do what she could there. Camille was right, dying in waste would be stupid. She looked down at her hands for a second before she turned towards the group that was about to leave to find shelter. She would save her energy for later. She'd seen a lot of things today, and she didn't want to further confuse herself by exhausting her body and mind all at once.

She rubbed her temple for nothing more than a few seconds before she turned towards Jack and Camille. "What time window should we agree on? We will need to know when to worry if anything has happened to you, so, how long do you think it'll take? Assuming there's an enemy where you go, that is." If they didn't agree on something they wouldn't be able to know if something had happened to the two of them. Maybe she was just being paranoid, but she wasn't quite sure anymore. There was something that told her that splitting up and just leaving it at that would be a bad idea. She was a bit surprised at her own reaction. At a point like this, it would've been nice to know what kind of life she had been leading up until now, up until this point where she remembered just about nothing. Her hands that were burnt, her quick response to enemies, her lack of actual fear. What on earth had she been doing?

She knew that her life would've had to be dangerous. She wouldn't have a great gun aim if she hadn't used one before. It must've been a big part of her life. Who had taught her? Why had she needed to learn it?

[fieldbox=Mitsuko Shiki | District Zero, red]Mitsuko looked at the oldest person in their group for a few moments, before sighing. There was nothing she could do if Ainsworth wanted to go with Grener, but that didn't stop the slight anxiety. It would be a waste if those two just went there and died, simply to see if there was something wrong and then get caught up in the conflict themselves. I've already made my decision. She was going to stay with Kirigiri and Shoriya. At least now, Grener wouldn't be going in alone, he had a partner. The larger group could simply leave signs for them to track, if they had to leave.

She looked at the youngest girls, Yeul and Amber. Even she had to admit, it felt wrong to ask those two to go willingly into danger. The innocence that Amber hand displayed earlier, in her excited talking to Jack, made the redhaired girl soften a little. There was no way she would allow those two to go with Ainsworth and Grener, at least. And Grener seemed to be of the same opinion. She nodded in agreement to Shoriya's plan for their group's arrangement. While she didn't know what to say about being put in the front, she had seen how capable Shoriya and Kirigiri were with their firearms. Yeul was unnervingly good at her chain scythe, and Ainsworth had her cards. She also had a feeling it wasn't the limit of what the older girl was capable of. Grener clearly had experience, even with those strange gauntlets.

The redhead cocked her head to look at the purple-haired girl. "The longest we could wait, as Shoriya has said, is an hour." The place where the light was shining from earlier wasn't too far away, it wouldn't take long for anyone to get there - given that no other Static creatures would get in their way and attack them. "Any longer and more of those creatures might pop up, we have to keep moving."[/fieldbox]
[fieldbox=Hoshiko Kagami | District One, blue]There wasn't much to do in the lull that had come over as the Fragments scattered from District Zero. Hoshiko merely watched the ongoings through her mirrors, eyes listless as she saw one of the lone Fragmented, a young boy, huddle in an empty shop. He had ended up on the edges District One, running out of the starting district as fast as he could. His expression was the place between panic and disbelief, even as his eyes frantically darted to the door where he had burst in from. Even if she couldn't hear anything, she could see the telltale rapid rising and falling of his chest. He was also wearing a school uniform, most likely in middle school, or at least a first year in high school.

Hoshiko had been a high school student once. Her clothing, having never changed from the long, long time before, was still that of a school uniform. A white button up shirt with long sleeves, a dark navy blue vest, and a red tie. A black skirt and knee high dark socks, shiny black shoes. All in all, she was the picture of a put-together school girl. But it had been a long time since she had even sat in class. Now she didn't even now a reality other than being a Collector.

And she felt nothing about it. Now, shown through one of the reflective surfaces, the wide store window, she could see the nameless boy trying to calm his breaths. This one had been unlucky, having separated from the others in his rush to get away from the earlier pandemonium. Alone as he was... He was...

Easy pickings.

She knew she had to go and kill at least one Fragmented, lest she be sent back. REM also didn't tolerate Collectors deliberately not killing anyone, or at least sabotaging the game. Anything that counted as sabotaging the game was grounds for a Collector to 'disappear'. Why do I even care? She thought disinterestedly. She had been in this place for too long, maybe simply disappearing would be a blessed reprieve.

This was a good opportunity to get that one kill done. Hoshiko didn't particularly feel like extending much of an effort with the others, unless she was explicitly called upon.

Moving out of the shop window's glass surface, she silently stood and looked at the empty shop. The boy had hidden behind one of the tall desks by now, and she silently walked towards the place where he was hiding. Terrified wide brown eyes bulged out at her, before the boy visibly calmed as he saw a blue-eyed girl of similar age standing in front of him.

"I-I thought I was alone," he said, breath leaving him in a rush. He laughed a breathless, relieved laugh, the laugh of someone simply relieved to have gotten out alive. The boy still couldn't believe what had happened. A boy was mauled and killed by that... Wolf creature... It was unreal. He should be in school right now, right? Even if he couldn't remember which school, or who his classmates were...

A feeling of disquiet came over him as the blue eyed girl still looked down on him, her standing as he was crouched. He noticed, feeling strange, that the girl's vacant expression hadn't shifted, not once. "Are you okay?" He asked, growing concerned. Maybe this girl was also shocked, and didn't know what to do?

Then the girl crouched before him. It was then that he realized he had never seen her until she was in front of him, or that she had never made a sound, not once. Her breaths were even, but he couldn't hear anything. Her movements were almost mechanical, he realized, her expression absent. Her blue eyes stared down at him with a thousand yard stare, as if seeing past him.

The boy, had this been a normal situation, would have blushed as the girl crouched in front of him. Her face was close to his, and scratch that - he was blushing, and a little bewildered at the girl's closeness. He had never had much experience with girls before, and this one was a stranger. "Hey...?"

He never even saw the glass shard that appeared in the girl's hand.[/fieldbox]
