"Are you okay? That looked scary and really pretty. How did you do that?"
"Ya definitely unnatural that's for sure," Jack responded still processing the whole "gauntlets appearing like magic" thing as the young girl observed him with a clear sense with horror if not intrigue. He seemed to finally snap out of it when other people started to test the supposed "stickers" summoning quite a few more strange items into the parking garage. Well then... how could this whole experience get any stranger? The answer would come in the sound of similarity as the same loud ringing sound announced the door... disappearing... again. For those who had been on the second floor this wasn't as shocking as it would be for those on the first floor. The massive door slowly disintegrated from existence revealing the outside world.

"...Ask, and you shall receive I guess," Jack said with a not so surprised tone. After seeing one door disappear, and magic gauntlets it was clear to say Jack had gotten over that amazing feeling. With a shrug of his shoulder he started to head outside to see if he could get a better view of where they all were. What he was introduced to was the sight of a large city as far as the eye's could see. Yet what had Jack attention at the moment wasn't the ever expanding city, but the sky. It was a unrealistic gray, and every now and then their was a random blotch like static appearing in numerous places.

"I may not remember much, but I know that's definitely not right," he spoke allowed mainly to himself as he continued to view the world around him. Was this his hometown? Was it anyone's hometown? With that thought in mind Jack realized their was no own else for miles in view besides everyone who had been in the parking garage.

RING RING RING

"Huh," Jack suddenly felt something vibrating in his pockets breaking himself away from the ever growing list of things that didn't feel right. Reaching into his left pocket would reveal a small dark orange flip cell phone. With a questioning eyebrow he started to hear a multitude of other phones go of behind him most likely from the other people. Opening the phone revealed that he had a text message from an Mr. Anonymous.

"Alright I'll bite buddy," he spoke again to whoever Mr. Anonymous was. Opening the message he read the words allowed.

From: Mr. Anonymous

Congratulations you have been selected to be apart of the new Game session. Now that all of you Fragmented have awakened the session has official started.

As such it will take a few, but soon the Static will awake so make sure to avoid them as best as possible, and only fight when forced to. Staying in groups is well recommend, but not to big or you will be easy prey for the Collectors as well. Watch out for them for they look just like you happy folks. The name of the Game is simple recover your memories, and survive each session. Not to hard right? Well as long as you don't get yourself trapped, or killed though trust while the Static will be easy to get away from the Collectors will not.

Well the Big Boss will be sending a message to you lucky folks to where your first memory is hidden so try to at least survive to that point, and I wish you all luck. Cause lets face it your going to need it.

"Game? What Game? What the heck is a Fragmented, or a Static for that matter," Jack said a bit annoyed by the lack of explanation with the addition of even more confusion. Yet it then registered to him that the word kill was in the message. He paused temporarily before rereading the whole message again... were they really in danger? He looked up again trying to see if he could note anything hostile around them. Yet nothing out of the "ordinary" was around. Was this Mr. Anonymous just messing with them?

"Ugh... my brain hurts," Jack said finally seeming to have a small meltdown with all this information coming at him. It was then his head jerked up at the sound of something howling. Turning around to the source the teen squinted his eyes before they suddenly went wide. Right at the entrance of the parking lot was a unnatural phenomenon of static physically forming like the strange blotches in the sky. Yet this static started to grow taking form slowly into a 3D shape until it seemed to become a wolf. Jack's phone hit the ground as he found himself lost for words. A wolf made out of static was standing in front him... well he now knew what a Static was, and now he was sure they were all in danger.

(The Negative District)
"You... Are loud."
"Hmph well your to quiet Ms. Zone Out," Rika growled back at Hoshiko before mumbling a weary good luck to that Lina girl. She had been around how long? Two Games maybe Rika stared at the TV's usually a reapers forth game decided their fate if they would last long, or die "young" in the field. Crossing her legs she surprising took Lina's advice, and decided to calm down a bit. Besides she would still get to see which Fragments would be worthy to chase later for the moment a Collector met up with a Fragmented, and fought it would appear on the TV screens.

"At least figure out which ones will be fun "Mirrors" rather then doing all that BORING "let me end your suffering nonsense"... its so boring to watch you play emo goddess," Rika shot back to Hoshiko before like clock work their cell phones went off... the Game was now in session which meant. All five listed Collector were suddenly engulfed in static teleporting them to Enix City wherever they would land was always random. Once they were gone Rika gave out one last mumbled complaint about having to wait while the greenhorn girl was allowed to go in the first round.

She truly hated them all, all the other Collectors why couldn't she just have all the "mice" to herself? The only ones who could answer that question in her warped opinion was REM, or Ren both of which no one knew how to directly contact. Maybe they could give her a fenced off area with her own Game Session so she never had to wait. She smiled at that idea if she ever did see Ren again she would have to ask that. Until then she would have to wait with the rest of these clowns.

"I wonder if that one interesting boy is gonna be in the Games again," she asked herself. Yes that particular boy who just wouldn't give up. A twisted grin surfaced at the thought of him. He had given her many a fun situation, and fights. He had made her feel truly alive more times then any other Fragmented had before. He played desperately which made him dangerous yet overtime he lost that deadly edged that had made her hunt him specifically. Her tail flicked about as the smile turned into the frown most likely if he was in the game again at this point he would most likely have lost even more of his edge.

"A girl can hope I guess."

Exavior had only just finished his game, a mere twenty one points shy of beating his score, when there was a dull vibration in his cheap, five dollar flip phone and a brief ringing before he felt a chill form around him, he closing his eyes and letting the neither dark, nor light static envelope him, erasing his existence from the Negative district and deposit him behind a building only a short ways from District Zero. He smiled, figuring he could give an early advantage to his fellow collectors by starting to break up the fragments, but to do so, he would have to play smart. He knelt down, looking around to corner to see that they had made very little progress in forwards movement, and then half laid himself propped up against the wall of the building he was behind, closing his eyes and letting his body relax to the point of looking limp. He would wait for their inevitably soon approach and play off being attacked, having been here for years, unable to find his way. He would likely be able to enter the group easily like that, and if he had 'been there for years' they would all ask what he knew about this place. He could guide them in smaller groups to their own detriment.

Shujo jumped slightly as a sound, akin to that of a screeching, hissing, cracking sound rung out from the general direction of their only exit. Those nearby it didnt seem too phased by the occurrence, which must have meant it wasnt all that dangerous, and thus, eager to see what was going all and why they were all here, the girl headed off towards the quickly disintegrating door. A couple of people had already left, speaking amongst themselves, but as she left the parking garage, something felt off. She tried to think back to her memories again, as her headache was starting to dull down, but the most she could grasp were brief flashes of very blurry events. She sighed, looking up to the sky, a look of confusion masking her face.
"Why.... isnt the sky blue here...?" she seemed to ask no one in particular. In one hand she still lightly held to the staff that had materialized while touching her back. A howling, a sound naturally interesting for the girl, sounded out from among the group, calling her attention to a formation of what seemed to be television static in a fully third dimensional being, a wolf to be exact. It had formed from nothingness, and judging by its stance and hunter's howl, it was planning to turn them to nothing as well. The girl had left her phone in the garage, feeling there was no need for it, though she had seen everyone checking their own phones just moments earlier. She considered going back to grab her phone, but it was too late to do one thing or another. Either fight or flee. Rushing out from among the congregation of peoples, she swung her staff boldly, ignoring any consequence that could possibly come from such an action, aiming for the head to either give a good fracture, or maybe injure the beast's jaw.

Hoshiko Kagami | The Mirror Maiden | The Negative District -- District Zero
Hoshiko brushed off the cat woman's snippy comment, her eyes merely glancing momentarily in Rika's direction then indifferently looking away. "You will find out soon enough. Killing does not give me the same pleasure it does you, child," she murmured, for a moment reminiscing on the much, much earlier times. Maybe long ago, there was a time she did try and enjoy killing and fighting - maybe there was a time her powers seemed wondrous to her? I can't remember... She then looked to Lina Donnelly for a moment, before giving a brief nod. Lina was one of the youngest here, she could tell by the way the other was still so inquisitive about the other Collectors and the Game itself. Then the ringing sound came from her pocket, and Hoshiko settled back, closing her eyes as she felt the static start from her feet, working its way upwards the girl.

She heard Rika's comment about a certain Fragmented that had been going through the Game again and again. Ah, yes, that boy with the recurring face for the past games. With every game he had seemed more and more desperate to regain what he had lost, and Rika had more and more enjoyed breaking him down. Some Collectors did like to play with their 'food', an oddly fitting analogy for a cat woman like Rika Swerch.

More static then started to envelop Hoshiko, staying there for a moment before she felt her consciousness and physical form start to reform in another place. The static also took the numerous mirrors that were floating around her, and as she looked out at the place close to District Zero, she gave a low sigh. It seemed like Exavior Mishana was already here, so she simply materialized flat, simple mirrors and placed those around the exit to District Zero, flat against the building in such a way that would let her see what was happening. Then the girl herself slowly walked in front of one, and held her hand forward as if to press against the reflective surface. Instead, she passed through as if it was just another room, her whole form moving into the reflection world before she vanished from sight.
Mitsuko Shiki | Jack in the Box | District Zero
When the door on the first floor also disappeared, she was better prepared and didn't so much as blink, although her frown deepened. Mitsuko's dark brown eyes looked out at the sudden surroundings that were revealed, and she noted the strange grey sky with a sinking feeling. That couldn't be normal. Much less the strange blobs of what looked like static appearing and disappearing there. Then there was the fact that even from this far, there should have been signs of life in the city beyond this parking lot - but why was it so empty?
Just then, some cheerful, but generic ringtone sounded, making Mitsuko startle slightly. Her fingers clenched tighter around the naginata in her hand, and the redhaired girl quickly took out a phone from the pocket of her shorts. It was a black flip phone, and she quickly opened it. Maybe there's someone we can call to know what is actually happening here. But she didn't hold much hope, since the phone in her hands didn't ring any bells for familiarity, and she had never had it before... Had she? Her suspicions were confirmed when she read the message, which made her feel like a stone had been dropped in her gut for all that it said. Fragmented? Collectors? Killed? And to only fight when forced to... Who the hell was this Mr. Anonymous, and who did he think he was to play around with people?

Her shoulders tensed for a moment until Mitsuko forced herself into a more relaxed position, holding the naginata firmly in her grip. Don't panic. Let's take a look around - then there was the sudden howl, and her head whipped around to stare at the entrance. Mitsuko's eyes widened slightly at the wolf-like thing that appeared there, the black and white flashing and moving things that made it up looking like static. Static? Her mind quickly provided, and she then breathed out as she remembered the text from Mr. Anonymous. There will be more, apparently. Whoop de fucking doo, isn't that great. Now let's see what we can do... There were about thirty or more other people around, so one wolf wouldn't be much, right? She turned and looked around her, all the while warily watching the wolf out the corner of her eye, and looked at the others who had their weapons out.

All of a sudden, another girl rushed out from the congregation of people, and Mitsuko recognized her as the one that stood with the other woman she was talking to earlier. "Hey-!" She sharply called out, taken aback by the sheer recklessness that the girl displayed by simply rushing at the static-wolf with her staff. What's she thinking?!

Startled by the sound of something in her inner chest pocket, Kyouko was brought back to the real world, and swiftly she flipped it open and read the message over. And over. She did it three times before finally deeming that she was finished with this. She looked up at the door starting to disappear as she flipped it closed again, putting it back in her pocket. She was surprised by the fact that they would go through the trouble of putting it in her inner pockets. Or were they just showing off as if telling her "you were so far away that you didn't notice?" and more so...

" "Anonymous"... geez, how unoriginal. So you'll be troubled if we know who you really are...?" Kyouko mumbled to herself as she walked towards the entrance where everyone seemed distracted. On the way, she slid down her jacket shoulder to find the marks there. So these were those "stickers"? One had a gun with an explosion in the background on it, and another one was a pair of hands clapped together with an eye above it. She must've touched the one with the gun on it. She sighed as she pulled her jacket back in place, surprised when she looked up.

This... couldn't be real. She was looking at a wolf made completely out of static, a wolf that was floating in the air. Nothing made sense anymore. She unconsciously touched the sticker, as if she knew just where it was despite her jacket, and her gun appeared. Something clicked inside her high-speeding mind. This world… couldn’t be real. It had to be some sort of illusion. There was nothing to back it up yet, but the unnatural color of the sky, disappearing doors, “magic” weapons… if this was somehow not a real world, everything would make sense.

That failed to explain why she was even here in the first place, though. Had she been brought here on her own volition? Had she perhaps agreed to this herself and allowed herself to be captured in a place like this? With what purpose would she even do that? She failed to realize anything. Her memories were all jumbled up, stopping when most important. Why are you there?

Who are you?

Who am I?

She couldn’t even answer all of these questions on her own, and she felt like the memories inside her were completely useless. Yet what was this strong feeling of purpose? It must’ve come from her past, but she had no idea who she was before she came here. What kind of life had she been living? She stared down at her hands that had gloves on them. Purple gloves. She was scared to look, because her hands felt like they were pained.

A girl’s voice sounded in the quiet and Kyouko looked up to find Mitsuko yelling after a girl that had charged directly at the wolf. Kyouko walked up to her and looked towards Shujo.

“Hey! You can’t just charge it like that when you don’t know what it is! In this kind of situation, you should run away before doing something reckless!” She yelled, the first time she’d really spoken up. The words had left her like an impulse.

Nagito turned to the source of the ringing noise that came on once again and began to make his way over towards the disappearing door. Looking past its fading form, he could just pick out the city that stood behind it and, perhaps more disturbingly, the odd sky that laid above.

As he finally stepped past where the door had once stood, now closer to the other Fragments, he felt a vibration in his pocket and heard ringtones go off all around him. Sparing a moment to glance at the others, he pulled out the phone he hadn’t known he had as it vibrated once more and flipped it open to reveal the message. ‘Old...’ he thought as he glanced at the design before actually focusing on the message itself. The contents were vague, but nonetheless he felt something familiar about it. Dismissing it with a sigh, sure it’d just be another mess of jumbled memories if he tried to make sense of the feeling, he turned to face the latest development.

One of the distortions seemed to have descended from the sky to ground level, twisting and changing until it resembled a wolf in shape. Frowning as he stared at its fraying edge, the creature even paused to howl like the beast. Placing his phone back in the pocket he’d found it in, Nagito felt something indescribable as other than the urge to destroy as he looked at the creature of Static; after all it was the enemy. Glancing at the others around him, they seemed for the most part still in the midst of deci-, oh wait no. Following the girl’s rather reckless frontal charge at the beast, he figured it was time to move as well.

Tapping his right palm as he stepped back and out of the crowd, the moment he was free Nagito darted to the side. Clearing the 30 or so other Fragmented, he twirled the materialized spear experimentally to get a feel for its characteristics. Satisfied with its weight and feel in his hand, he too moved forward to engage the creature; intent on flanking it while it was distracted with the girl. While he knew he was capable of generating firearms, the possibility of attracting more creatures with the sound was not lost on him.

ts was too quite, it didn't matter that there were all these people here with the cool magic stuff, there was not enough noise. Was this normal? to feel like everything was on mute any thou there was some people talking about? Amber wanted something to listen to, maybe music? but what kind of music did she like? Did she even like anything? Amber wasn't just gonna stand here and make herself feel worse than she already was, the way to get answers is to keep looking. When Amber got out of her head the parking lot was empty and there was a new open door. As Amber started to walk toward the door she saw a phone on the floor, so she decide to pick it up and try to find who it belongs too. *Bzzz**Bzzz* Amber's sweater pocket started to ring, pulling out a pastel yellow phone, Amber looked at the text.

"What do you mean about getting killed? Is this like in video games, the text did say we were in a game. I know! we're apart of a new type of video game! Cool!" Amber headed out the door with a big smile on her face, she liked games at least she thought she did.

When she made it outside the sky looked off and all the other people were starring at something. Then there was a growling sound toward where they were looking, a wolf looking thing growled at the people going after it. Amber tried to find the boy from earlier, because she knew best from everyone else. When she spotted him, Amber ran over to him holding on to his arm.

"What is that? Why is coming at us? Did some one poked it? I'm scared."Amber wined a little, her eyes watering. Even if this was a video game, it was scary.

Camille had been about to confirm Mitsuko's question but the series of events that occured right after that gave her no chance to answer. The materialization of weapons, the second door opening, the text message and the wolf-like creature appearing. She had the time to memorize the contents of the text before the wolf materialized and the other girl, Shujo, rushing at the creature.

She was about to call out to her just like the other two girls had done, but she also wanted to rush in to pull her back. Iit reminded her of something her instructor had once told during a training, which and when was unclear though. "Never rush blindly into a conflict, that's what gets you killed." Remembering that made her worry for the girl even more.

Clenching her fist she felt a sense of frustration, was it even safe to touch the static directly? Forcing herself to breathe out and reclaim her calm she spotted something on her left shoulder. 'A Sticker?' Touching it some cards materialized in her hand, it was nine of them numbering from 2 to 10. Glancing at the cards she could see the back had some patterning and the front had chalices, Cups, according to their numbering. She had her weapon now, but how was she even meant to use it? Throw them at her target like some cartoon character?

Though being physically reformed in another location was something Lina was sure she would never get used to, it sure beat being stuck with the rest of the Collectors forever. She found herself being plopped gently in a building in the First District. She frowned - the static always seemed to have a problem landing her in more convenient areas. The Zero District was quite some way from here and Lina was sure by the time she would make her way over there the Fragmented would be gone. Still, from this angle she could see far from the windows and any lone Fragmented would find their lives and memories soon hard to defend. Lina closed her eyes and concentrated for a while before summoning a static in the form of a small bird. "Find the others." She spoke simply before opening a window to let it fly. Now there was nothing to do but wait.

(District Zero)

In a flurry of unexpected responses many of which were merely yelled out disapprovals of the rushing girl's actions Jack could temporarily see another fellow fragmented moving to flank the creature from behind as the girl swung at it with her staff. It seemed he planned to perform a pincer on the creature. Jack himself suddenly felt a rush of adrenaline, and was about to mad dash toward them both to try, and stop them. Yet before he could even take a first step he was latched onto by the youngest girl from before who was now in fear, and confusion over everything going on.

"What is that? Why is coming at us? Did some one poked it? I'm scared."
"Ugh... calm down its going to be alright just keep your nerves about you," he responded oddly in a brotherly tone that felt all to natural. Was he a brother? No those types of thoughts had to wait as he watched ahead now forced to only watch ahead to see how the two attackers actions would play out.

The wolf immediately noted the girl rushing it giving out a loud girl as she swung for it. What happened in that one instances in attack caused Jacks pupils to go wide. In a unnatural nature the wolfs next twisted beyond normal means, and caught the staff in its mouth halting the girls advance. For a moment it simply growled before its next started to twist back to its proper position fighting the girl for dominance over her weapon yet before a winner could be decided it let go, and yelp while leaping away as the spear wielding boy attempted to attack it. Unlike its aggressive response to the girl the creature almost seemed afraid of the boy....but why?

It seemed the wolf had lost its aggressive edge on the girl as well though clearly more terrified of being pincered by the two dominant attackers at the time. With that it mad rush away causing many of the fragmented to scream, and move out of its way as it tried to find a easier target. That's when it locked its site with the little girl latched onto Jack, and with a new goal started to bark loudly as it mad rush for her leaping to bite into its prey that was moved out of harms way as Jack picked her up, and jumped out of its range causing it to yelp as it tumbled to the ground in error.

"Just stay behind me," Jack said putting Amber down tacking a defensive boxing stance... wait why did he have a stance. Well most likely he must have been a boxer cause he knew it was a boxing stance... it seemed secondary nature had not been removed from the Fragmented's mind. Which in this cause was a good thing as Jack found himself staring down the wolf ready for it to attack yet just like with the other two who had attacked it before once he showed equal aggression it started to whimper, and slowly back off. Being a lesser Static especially a District Zero meant it didn't take much strength to kill it in a clean hit, and while they didn't know that the static did. That was then it turned its attention to some guy running off using the distractions as a chance to run to possibly get home. Jack watched as it immediately took a chance, and broke the stare down running after what it considered easier prey.

"WAIT GET BACK.... KID RUN," was all Jack could yell as it rushed after the new target at a full sprint. The kid mumbling how he just wanted to get home briefly turned around to the sound of Jacks yelling just in time to realize he was being chased with fear clearly plastered on his face he started to run faster now screaming for help. Unfortunately no one would be able to reach him in time as the wolf caught up, and with a single leap locked its teeth into the kids neck as it knocked him down. Blood immediately gushed from the kids neck as he tried to scream with the Static wolfs teeth sinking in. He squirmed helpless as the wolf simply kept him pinned down at that point. Jack was about to run to try, and save him even though mentally he knew from the sight alone it was probably already to late. No one seemed to move as the kid continued to inaudible scream due to the neck wound as the wolf continued to keep him pinned down. Slowly though its body started to expanded into a cocoon around the Fragment until neither site nor sound were available to the Fragmented watching the scene.

"What.... the... hell," Jack uttered as without another word the static cocoon dispersed, and the only sign left of the kids existence was the blood that had spilt out just moments ago all over the ground. It was then the ominous sound of multiple howls caused Jack to turn his head back to the entrance where now a pack of maybe a good six wolfs now stood. It didn't take long before many of the Fragmented reacted in screams, and started to run toward the city not wanting to meet the same fate as the boy before.

"Time to go," was all Jack could muster to say as he grabbed Ambers hand knowing that the reaction of fear would only cause the wolf's to give chase. The needed to get out of the open, and fast they were easy targets at this rate. Along with their being more then one this time he doubted they could scare them off like they had the one... no this time the situation was more serious, and the game all to real now.

(The Negative District)

"And one little lamb falls to the fearful wolf," Rika mumbled allowed as she watched the first kill on the TV screen by the static. It was a pretty normal thing to see the Static get the first kill usually do to the confused Fragmented's reactions to the creature what wasn't usually, however, was for one nay three Fragmented to fight back so early, and so quick. Rika's lips pursed into a grin at the sight of a particular Fragments appearance.

"So he is still the game hey maybe I can get one last goo fight out of him," she said sadistically as she leaned forward now more attentive to the happens on screen. Then their was the other boy, and girl they seemed like possibly future enjoyments. Hell one of them seem to be a actual fighter from the look of his stance.

"Heh this games is already shaping up to be fun," she spoke aloud to no one in particular.

The sounds seemed to die down as he focused solely on the wolf-like creature as it grappled for control of the girl’s staff. A brief moment of surprise had caused him to slow down when the creature had managed to contort itself to catch the strike, but he pushed forward through that without hesitation. It was a simple thrust that sent the tip towards the creature’s flank, but somehow it managed to realize it was under attack and leapt away. His eyes narrowed as it broke off, and though he tried to catch it with the spear tip the creature seemed to stay out of range by a good margin. With its greater speed as well, it wasn’t hard for the creature to bypass Nagito and make a charge towards the grouped Fragments.

With a small scowl as the distance between him and the creature increased Nagito tossed the spear to the ground. It clattered once or twice noisily before only grey smoke remained which dissipated mere moments later. As the creature hesitated against “prey” that showed they weren’t going down without a fight, he blue-haired Fragment tapped his right palm again and drew out an unremarkable handgun. Though his grip on the weapon was solid he seemed to pitch forward a bit and stepped out to catch himself. Head lowered, he took several deep breathes before he finally looked up, a few beads of sweat on his forehead. ‘Guess this isn’t for free.’ Despite the feeling of tiredness that had appeared after he had manifested the weapon, Nagito quickly looked around to try and discern the creature’s location.

It wasn’t too hard to find it once more as Fragments stood frozen at the scene that played out in front of them. He blinked slowly as the boy disappeared behind a black cocoon before that too simply vanished and left only a bloodstain as the only sign to what had happened. His grip tightened around the weapon as he looked between the other Fragments, a storm of emotions bubbling underneath his masked expression. Howls and the screams that resulted were a welcome distraction to the question of how Nagito really felt. He spun around to face the pack of six creatures as Fragments dispersed all around him, aware that if left unimpeded the creatures would probably run down some of those that tried to escape.

“Come on then,” he muttered with a sigh as he too began to retreat. Not with the others though as he tried to break off by himself, not wanting any consequences to also befall the other Fragments. There was of course the possibility that the sound of gunfire would attract even more of the creatures... Nonetheless a bead was drawn on the closest wolf-like creature and without a moment’s hesitation the trigger was squeezed.

Shujo heard many calls for herself to stop and come to her senses, but every instinct she had of what must have been her former life before all of this craziness told her to fight back and be the survivor. With one hefty swing, she aimed to incapacitate the animal, putting all of her strength into the blow, but even so, she felt her entire body ground to a halt, her vision coming to better focus to reveal a horribly contorted neck with a pair of strong, unscathed jaws just beyond, holding her staff as if it were nothing more than a stick in the park. Fear began to rise up into the girl's chest, before the creature yelped, backing off as another of the people who woke up here ran up from behind to attack with a spear. A sigh escaped her as she took a shaky breath and let the staff dissipate into a thick black smoke, it floating up a ways before it grew so thin that it was no longer visible. Screams and howls took her attention back to the scene, however, showing multiple wolf like creatures, akin to the one before, all behind the group. People began to run, but she was frozen, kept still until she heard a gunshot. Shaking her head and trying to rid herself of the paralyzing fear that struck her so suddenly as opposed to the reckless bravery of before, she ran after the largest of the off split groups, darting between people to try and find who was leading the charge. The city before them was growing ever closer, and as she grew closer, Shujo began to feel more and more apprehensive. Something bad was going to happen here, without a doubt, but what? And when? She could only guess.

Camille was relieved that the girl got out of the danger unhurt, but as the horror unfolded in front of her the normally vague expressions she held was replaced by an undiluted expression of horror. A boy tried to run but was hunted down and killed, unknowingly she had taken a step forward as the wolf hunted it's prey. The black cocoon, the remaining pool of blood, the reality of death, nothing had prepared her for this.

She would have remained frozen in both horror and fear just like that if not for the howls of the other wolves that had joined their friend. She would've run, she felt just that powerless, but hearing the gunshot made her realize that there were others fighing. Swallowing back the bitter aftertaste she clutched the cards on her hand, they had numbers on them and was possibly a weapon, a weapon she barely knew how to use.

Feeling anger at her own weakness she went into her stance with ease, she wasn't sure how long she had trained but it didn't matter, her body would remember that for her. Taking a card she quickly threw it at one of the wolves like you would a frisbee, the number 3 was spotted barely in time. She didn't know if it would hit, but she did know how to improve her throw on the next try.

Mitsuko Shiki | Jack in the Box | District Zero
"... Well," Mitsuko let out a breath as the girl who charged the wolf got away unharmed, but immediately focused on the other person who flanked the strange creature. He was experienced from the looks of things and the way he handled his spear, but it was the way the wolf cowered from him that made her wonder. What was that? Then she could only watch as it went for a small girl, who was then brought out of harm by the man with the gauntlets on his arms. We have to do something. But what? Reason and compassion was warring within her, one side of her saying she should just let them alone and focus on herself and getting out of danger, and the other screaming to help them.

The color drained out of the redhaired girl's face as she saw how the wolf then went after a boy, who could only give out a soundless scream as sharp teeth tore into his vulnerable neck. At the same time, she felt oddly calm as the boy started to die, before the wolf and the boy vanished. The only remainder was the crimson stain on the ground. Despite the slight terror at the death before her, she didn't feel... Surprised about the death. She didn't feel terror or shock, other than the shock that was already there before - how could this be real? She could only stare for a moment before she clenched her hand around her naginata, quickly pushing away the image of the dead boy's terrified face frozen in death.

I have to think.

The howls of the wolves was ringing loud and clear in her ears, but Mitsuko's expression remained stony as she shifted into a ready stance. Her back was straight but not stiff, both hands wrapped around the shaft of her weapon, and upon sighting the pack of wolflike beings she knew she couldn't simply charge like the other girl had. The wolf earlier had held the staff so easily between its jaws earlier, and if Mitsuko got disarmed...

The shot that rang out made her spin around to look at the boy who had intimidated the wolf earlier. Wasn't his weapon earlier a spear? But now he had a gun... Mitsuko sorely wished she had something like that as well, having a feeling that it would also feel familiar in her hands. Though the naginata also felt like it belonged in her grip, something that let her have a grasp on herself and to not feel lost for what to do. She watched the boy also retreat, but then noticed that he seemed to be almost trying to break off from the others. Why? Was it because he thought the gunfire would draw the wolves to him? But if he was alone... She cautiously moved, her feet taking her closer to the boy even as she held her naginata before her, the blade at the end glinting as she kept a wary eye on the wolves. "Do you have any more of those guns?" Mitsuko spoke brusquely, hurried as she shot a glance at the blue-haired boy. She had a feeling it was something like how she got her naginata - so maybe not. But it couldn't hurt to try. She then saw a flash of something and saw the woman she was talking with earlier throw a - a card? - at one of the wolves. "Miss! She called out, "Can you come over here?" A quick look around the other dispersing people made her see that a few had remained. The man and the younger girl from earlier, where were they?
Yeul | Jigsaw | District Zero
Did that boy... Just die?

Was that death?

A small girl, with pale blue hair and light skin, watched the chaos break out around her. She could feel her own heart beating wildly in response to the shouts and to the panic as the wolves appeared. She glanced at the spot of red that remained on the ground from the moments earlier when a wolf - she had never seen one before, she was sure despite the confusing jumble that was her memories right now - bit into a boy's throat. Then they both disappeared, and the girl was left wondering.

Was that death? Where did the wolf and the boy go? And now there were more of the wolf creatures.

She looked at the strange thing she held in her hands. A length of chain ending in a small handle - it seemed like a handle - with a curved, gleaming blade. She could tell that it was sharp, she had nicked herself earlier running her finger along the edge. Even now there was still some droplets of blood trickling from her left index finger, and she looked at it in fascination. The other people around her also had some sharp object of sort in their hands, and maybe a gun.

Yeul had seen blood before, she was sure, but as she looked at the remaining puddle of blood, she knew she hadn't seen it in such plenty. She was curious and kind of wanted to dip her hands into the red fluid that had earlier gushed from a boy's gaping throat, but looking at the rushing people around her, scattering due to the sight of the wolves, she knew she also had to move. Yeul knew she wouldn't want to end up like the boy earlier. It didn't look pleasant at all.

She turned her head in the direction of where a loud sound - a bang - had come from, and set her eyes on a boy and a smoking gun - a gun? - and how he was some distance away from most of the other people. It was loud. There were screams and panicked sounds everywhere, and it was making Yeul's head hurt and spin slightly. She saw a redhaired girl make her way to the boy, and a woman throw a card at the wolves.

"What do I do?" She asked to no one in particular. She had earlier touched the sticker on her shoulder, having touched all over her skin as she saw some others touch some parts of their body and a some thing appear in their hands. But strangely, there was also a sticker on her chest, just above her heart. Her dress was a light blue, almost white, and frayed at the bottom hems. The collar was low, but Yeul didn't really have breasts, they were small and barely there. The sticker on her chest was blue and white, and it was strangely plain, except for the blooming white flower in the middle of a white circle.

With little else to think about, she held the handle of the scythe thing with the chain in her left hand, and touched her right to her chest. Immediately, she could feel an odd sort of numbness settle in her chest, and even if she should have felt surprised... She wasn't. Everything suddenly looked sharper and more defined, and her heart started slowing down into a steady, calm beat. Any panic or apprehension seemed to melt away, leaving her mind observing everything around her with only precise observations.

The wolves and everyone around her seemed to be moving much slower, she realized with a detached interest as she started moving - and was it so easy, so light to just move! - closer to the other remaining people. It was like she was walking on clouds, her body felt like it could fly with the ease of her movements. Her hand suddenly felt so much more sure around the handle of her weapon, her other hand starting to twine the chain around.

Kyouko was thankful that the girl who had rushed at the creature had got away unharmed, but watched in horror as the boy died before her eyes. The feeling was very familiar - a scene with blood gushing everywhere. She could almost picture his body lying there with the neck split open if the wolf creature hadn't swallowed him and disappeared - but to where?

This strange... familiarity with death made Kyouko uneasy. What kind of life had she been living before she came here? Would it really be better if she remembered everything? Inside her mind flashed a memory - a garden, she was sitting on a swing. A man, face blurred. He was about to say something, she could see it on his face -

"Argh! Dammit!" She cursed, surprised at her own frustration. She was usually one to keep it down, but the painful feeling when she couldn't recall anything completely bothered her. Not knowing anything at all bothered her. She didn't hear the man's words, but now wasn't the time for this.

She turned to see that the wolves had multiplied into a whole pack of them and decided to make her retreat. No need to spend more time on this without a plan. In case she would be attacked, she touched a hand to her shoulder, the gun once again appearing in her hand. Why did everything she owned have to be purple...? Instead of answering her own question, she set off in a sprint, following along with the group but ready to break off at any moment. She considered following the boy with the gun, and made up her mind, detouring from the larger group of people. They were too loud. Too easy to find. She needed to find stance somewhere instead of just aimlessly running.

She caught up to Shoriya's group and her feet stopped moving, slowing down into a calm walk as she reached the small group of people. For now, they seemed the most reliable people to be around. They weren't freaked out, but they weren't stupidly brave either. Someone needed to take out these creatures, and if not them, who else would help them? The only people here were a bunch of young people with amnesia...

"Hey! Were you trying to draw the wolves to you with the gunshot?" She asked as she briefly looked over her shoulder. She came to a halt and turned to look at the wolves - could they even be called that at this point? There was no doubt that these creatures had way more in them than any regular wolf. They were up against something that was beyond logic, and this left a hollow, uncomfortable feeling in Kyouko's stomach. As if everything she had believed in until now had been a complete lie.

Blood. That was all that was left of that boy and the screams echoing in Amber's head. The silence was now being replaced by feet pounding as they ran, growls from those wolf like things. Amber held on to the boy's hand as hard as she could, she didn't want those things getting her. So everyone just kept running, from what she could hear there were people fighting back or yelling at one another or at least it sounded that way. They were getting closer to the city, maybe they could find a place to hide? Would there be more wolfs? Amber just wanted to sit down and cry, but if she'd stop than the wolfs would get her.

"W-where a we going? Won't those things find us if they're from around here?" Amber cried to the boy, she still didn't know his name. Would she make it to learn his name? She had to know now, before anything happened to them.

"My name is Amber! I think at least. Whats your name?"

(District Zero)

The ringing sound of a shot vibrated through the air as Shoriya's bullet found its mark into the neck of a un-expecting Static Wolf. At first it had seemed the bullet had simply passed through with no effect at all, yet after a slight moment of pause with the wolf completely frozen the sudden sound of loud static screeched aloud as the creature popped like a balloon. One of the many other Static Wolf's paused realizing that one of its own had been taken down. Yet before it could respond a card came flying from its right smacking right into its side producing the same effect as the bullet as it to suddenly vanished with a loud static sound. Clearly these particular creatures while strong could not handle damage received in any amount. However, as the boy with the gun had predicted his actions had indeed brought him attention as the sound of enraged growls brought out the fact that his slowly growing group was now being chased by four new Static Wolfs each with a killing intent directed at the running Fragmented, and with each second they were slowly closing the gap.

"Well seems some of them are picking up the rules of the Game pretty quick as far as the fighting goes," a voice murmured to itself as a lone silhouette sat on-top of the parking lot watching from a magnificent angle all that was going on with the newly awoken Fragmented. The possible currently undefinable member's eyes were hidden behind a unusual English Bowler hat that match up completely with the rest of "his" British styled suit with long black hair whipping about in a ponytail. It was clear this person was one of the other preselected Collectors to start the Game, but at the moment like most Collectors did this person was giving them a running start. Their was no real reason to attack the Fragmented yet as "they" had said they were still learning the basics, and to "them" it was not very sporty to attack a newbie right off the bat.

"Give them a few hours, or minutes. That's the proper way to play in a fair fashion," the person chuckled lightly as "they" properly adjusted "their" collar.

"Well then might as well continue to watch hopefully no one does anything stupid... should be a good chance since Rika's not in this round." At this particular time the Collector was keeping a eye on the most intriguing group at the moment who seemed to be collecting around the only returning player from the last game. The Collector had not really ran into the blue haired boy in the past game, but then again they had met somewhat once before... well that wasn't completely true. In one version of the game they had definitely met, but that didn't matter at this time. Especially when you added that special rule that repeating Fragment player had to follow to avoid becoming a Collector, and to become whole again.

"My name is Amber! I think at least. Whats your name?"

"What? Not really the time for introductions kiddo HOLY HELL," Jack took a hard right as one of the following Static Wolf's dived for them barely missing its target as it landed on all four viscously growling in agitation at the boys quick reaction. The little girl had said something about it being impossible to get away, but most of her message became jumbled as his heart raced trying to think of how to get out of their current predicament. Unfortunately there were not many others still around them as most had already split up into smaller groups hoping the static monstrosities would stick to groups bigger for more targets... clearly not many people were thinking with their head straight, but Jack couldn't say his situation was any better as they were still being chased by one particular Static Wolf that showed no sign that it was about to give up.

"I doubt those things do much living," Jack finally responded coming to a complete halt as he flung the girl onto ground as a last ditch effort to get her to safety. Turning around in panic with no time left to make his own escape he heard the wolf howl as it jumped right for him aiming to take him out. Yet the sound that followed next was not of teeth bearing into flesh, but steel meeting teeth. With eyes wide open in surprise Jack held his ground in his defensive stance as the wolf gnawed at the left handed gauntlet not able to bite through surprisingly. With a animal instinct the static continued to try to bite down hard to break the gauntlet yet no matter how much pressure it applied the gauntlet still showed no signs of cracking. With a few grunts Jack started to push away the wolf as it tried to claw at him. After a few moment of this adrenaline pumping madness Jack was able to gain enough room to get the wolfs mouth high enough to where it had to concentrate on holding onto the gauntlet instead of clawing at him.

"GET OFF ME," he yelled as he swung a right hook into the static's face which the moment it made contact caused the beast to explode in a loud static array of sound as he stumbled back from the highly unsuspected reaction. Bewildered by the fact a simple punch had apparently ko'ed the beast. Snapping back into reality pretty quickly however, he returned to a higher priority.

"Hey you all right up there," he yelled to Amber as he climbed up what he could now register as a simply mid high wall. Once he had a grip on the edge he hoisted himself up coming into view of a small house with a barren garden... from the looks of it on a second glance though he realized the house was actually a Green House housing numerous plants. Though he didn't stay attentive to it long before his eyes met up with Amber.

"By the way names Jack... we seem to be safe... at the moment. Hopefully so is mostly everyone else," he muttered the last part of his sentence as from what he had so far seen gave him doubt that their wouldn't be more... loses on their part. Though from his own little experience handling these "Static" might not be to difficult. He rubbed his head as his mind seemed to start throbbing from all this information he was processing. What was this Game? Had he agreed to participate? If so why give up his memories, and what was he to gain from this game if he lasted long enough? Jack groaned lightly as his headed started to hurt even more from all the questions rushing into his head. Closing his eyes temporarily he felt the both gauntlets disappear from his arms as a sudden small fatigue settled in. So using those things came with a price apparently... he would have to be careful for now on. What about the other sticker though?

"No maybe later," he mumble to himself as he seemed to calm down a bit from the rush of adrenaline, and slowly growing headache.

"We better continuing moving... hopefully we run into someone else soon."

His lips curled slightly upwards as the shot tore through the creature’s neck and caused it to burst into black wisps that quickly faded away. A glance that followed the trajectory of the thrown card led Nagito’s eyes to linger on the slightly taller girl before his attention refocused on the still present threats. The creatures’ deaths had not gone unnoticed by the others and with sounds that promised painful and bloody deaths, the remaining members of the pack charged. “Tires me, not sure if more than one possible,” he replied quickly as he tracked one of the Static wolves calmly and squeezed the trigger fast enough that the three cracks blended into one; one on target and two to its sides if it somehow managed to dodge the first.

To the latest girl that arrived, he didn’t spare much time and briefly muttered, “Yes.” The creatures were worryingly close at this point and he fired the remaining rounds in his firearm to scatter rather than kill. The empty handgun was tossed aside and it dissipated before it could even hit the ground. At the same time he dropped to a knee as he focused on his “ability”, for lack of a better term. Despite the strain he felt as he manifested his new weapon he managed to grunt out, “Get away from me. Put your weapons to use,” to those that had gathered around him. It was unexpected that these people had followed him head first to danger, but he’d do his best to see them and himself through this.

Despite his weakness not being completely feigned, as Nagito did feel a bit light headed and out of breath, he raised his head just enough to keep the wolf-creatures in sight. Clutched close to his chest was a firearm larger than the two he had brought out before. easily recognizable to anyone who had played a shooter and still had their memories. Which was probably none of the individuals here, but it didn’t matter. If the creatures thought Nagito was going to be easy prey simply because he wasn’t on his feet, they were in for a nasty surprise.

The moment any creature committed to an attack, and he kept a close eye on all the survivors, they’d be greeted with the muzzle of a MP5 and several rounds fired from it. That one round from his handgun had put the creature down told him he didn’t need to worry about stopping power, but quantity was a better concern. And with what felt and weighed like a full 30 round clip, he didn’t have time to actually check, there were more than enough rounds for the creatures.

Rolling. One moment Amber was running the next she was sent rolling on the road by the boy who was running with her. As she got up, Amber heard the boy yelling at the wolf that was on top of him. Amber wanted to scream, was it her fault that boy got distracted? She should have kept her mouth shut and kept running. As she sat up the boy had destroy the wolf, Amber felt something wet on her face where it was hurting. When she put her hand to it two thing happened, she found blood and a mist appeared. The mist was a pale yellow came around her opposite hand and formed into a staff. It was medium length, made out of a light wood with a handle craved into the base and middle. Amber was in awe at the beautiful stall, how it felt in her hands and the designs in the handles. She didn't notice a new sticker glowed on her wrist as it appeared. Hearing someone walking closer to her, Amber Held tighter to her staff until she saw the boy she was running with. He introduce himself as Jack, and said they should be safe for the time being. With the knowledge that they were safe, Amber start to cry. 'This is too much! I want to go home! Any where but here, please! I'm sorry if I did something to deserve this. I promise I'll be good from now on!' She kept crying, rubbing her face causing her staff to disappear and gave Amber a short pain in her head. After a short time, Amber started to calm down. Crying is not going to solve anything and could cause more problems.

"I-I'm sorry for crying like a baby, I just needed to get out. Its nice to meet you Jack, did that . . . thing hurt you? I'm . . . sorry for distracting you before." Amber looked down to her knees, still feeling bad about the wolf as if it was her fault.

Mitsuko Shiki | Jack in the Box | District Zero
"On it," Mitsuko was moving before the blue-haired boy even grunted out his order, noticing the strain he was undergoing. She had noted his relatively good aim with interest, he must have used guns before. But now that he was brought to one knee, she knew she had to step in. He could give her support at least while she rushed at the ensuing wolves, her naginata held in her agile hands. She took a deep breath, adrenaline flooding her muscles and adding to her speed as she went to cover one of the boy's sides more unprotected sides. The wolves were closing in on them, and calling out to the woman with the cards - her ability was useful as well - She called out, "Let's finish this before any more show up." She glared down the wolf in front of her, clenching her jaw.

At the moment, she could only pray and hope that her trust in him wasn't unfounded. That he would watch out for all of them who were around him. Some distinct relief warmed her chest as she saw the new firearm he was holding. An MP5... But she was more concerned about the fact he looked paler than before, and definitely a little out of breath. Her sharp eyes could see that his chest was rising and falling faster than was normal.

From what she had seen earlier, these wolves would disperse at only the slightest bit of damage. They definitely would be easy to dispatch of, given that one wouldn't give them an opportunity to lunge and get mauled first. Angling the blade at the end of the smooth pole, she feinted a lunge towaards the wolf before sharply veering towards the side, her hands and the weapon a blur. The naginata's blade swung in a smooth arc towards the wolf's side, before she pulled it back and forcefully jabbed the blunt end of the weapon towards the wolf's head.

She could deal. Mitsuko knew they had to get rid of the wolves soon, there might be more that would pop up if they stayed here too long.
Yeul | Jigsaw | District Zero
Yeul only glanced at the boy with the blue hair - well, she had blue hair too, she noted absently - when he grunted out a strained reply. She was more interested in how his shot earlier had killed one of those strange wolves, and then the card-throwing woman also managing to make another disappear.

She blinked at the redheaded girl's sharp voice, but knew that it was only right. It was, wasn't it? To help the boy. He looked like he was starting to get winded. The cost of using and changing his weapons so many times, Yeul guessed. She wondered if she would be able to stay long in this wonderful state where she didn't feel...Scared. At all. She didn't want to feel scared, like the girl who had been protected from the wolves by a man with gauntlets.

She took her place opposite where the redhead had taken hers, at the boy's other side. He would look out for them, Yeul knew, and so with a song in her heart and a gentle expression on her face, she used her chain scythe for the first time.

Holding one end of the chain, she swung it easily in wide arcs, gaining momentum. Then she aimed the rapidly downward swinging scythe towards the wolf in front of her, and wondered what would happen. Yeul's body was prepared to move and defend against whatever the wolves would try, and her speed was preternaturally above normal human standards. It must have been due to the sticker...

The others having covered his sides, Kyouko decided to cover his back and as soon as she turned around, stepping a few steps away from him, a wolf lunged at her. In a flowing motion she touched the sticker on her arm, materialized the purple gun and aimed it. The wolf was an inch from her when she hit it in the head, and it exploded in a wave of static sound around her. What an inconvenient sound. She could see another one approaching, though this time farther away. She aimed her gun and hit it before it could attack her. Maybe now was the time to test that other sticker, as well? She had a lot of energy, and she had a feeling that it would be useful.

Well, she hoped that, at least.

She touched the other sticker that was located on the same arm, but they were separated so that it would be easier to touch the right one and not the wrong by accident. The moment she did this, her vision became sharper and some of her senses dulled. When she looked around, she could see that there were more wolves where these were coming from. Lots of them. Somewhere on a building in the distance, was that a person...? As she was about to focus on this, her vision faded back to normal and she shot the wolf that had closed in on her while she had been gone.

"There's a limit to how many of these we can fight down, despite how-" She aimed and fired another shot, in one of the wolves' chest. "- weak they are." She turned around towards the others who were still fighting. The number "7" light up in a little display on the gun. Was this the amount of bullets she had left? It would take a lot of energy to make a new one, tough call... for now, she knew that they had to retreat at some point to prepare for stronger enemies.

Somewhere in her heart she hoped that the bundle of creatures she had seen had not been the wolves. But what if they weren't? Then what were they?

She was relieved to know that one of her abilities was that eagle-like sight, but it gave her too much new information, and it was foolish to let herself be bothered by it. There would be an end to this, wouldn't there? This battlefield they had been thrown onto. Even now, she was scared to hear the answer.

She had a feeling that she was wrong.
