Russel hadn’t quite decided yet on why he accepted the invite. Maybe to finally arise some interesting events in his life, maybe to try and see if he could make amends with humans, maybe something else. It wasn’t a big thing to worry about, what was quite troubling for him, though, was how the invite got to his bunker in the first place. A gold lined envelope with a very fancy-looking stamp.

His first assumption was that it was A11 playing tricks on him, an attempt to play some sort of prank. Upon opening the letter, he was proven otherwise. Some big, fancy rich man had somehow managed to invite a human-hating android to a secret-Santa-masquerade-party-thing. It put him at a certain unease on how this random guy, with enough money to support this kind of event, had managed to reach him, much less think it was a good idea to invite him.

Russel considered his options, he could easily attend, and flip what the people expected on their heads.

That… or, he could go to evaluate the humans. Just to see if all of them were as bad as what he’d met in his life.

Currently, he was searching for a gift in one of the back-alley markets. The person he was gifting hadn’t quite given much for him to go off of, but that was alright. He was bound to figure something out!

Once he eventually found said gift, he wrapped it to the best of his ability, using wires in place of ribbons, and metal sheets for wrapping. How he thought his person would open such a thing? He hadn’t figured out yet.

Russel tried his best to walk to the manor in a steady time frame, making sure that he was on-time. The moment he set foot into the neighborhood, he knew exactly where the manor was.

He strode on over, and immediately upon walking up onto the porch, a few maids and butlers rushed out of the household. They’re voices excited and all talking at the same time.

They all escorted him to his room, explaining a few things just in case he hadn’t caught them in the letter, and leaving him alone in the room. Well, that was eventful!

Russel examined his surroundings, taking in the detail and comfort the room had. Lying on the bed was a silky black outfit, lined with gold lace and beaded with amber specks. Said outfit was a long, flowing dress, surprisingly his exact clothing size. Once he finished admiring the dress, he moved onto the small pin, said to match the one he was supposed to be gifting.

The pin was like a small, black feathered swan.

He didn’t have many plans to return neither the outfit or the pin.

The mask matched the outfit and pin, glossy black with golden-painted streaks along the side. Not much different from the dress.

Russel dressed himself in the new clothes provided, snapping on the pin and sliding on the mask. It wouldn’t hurt to wander a bit..

Yuuji wasn't sure why he had decided to go there. Maybe because the others had pushed him to, saying it was better than doing paperwork all night? Because he felt like it? No matter. He was there already. Although, how did that rich man do it? He had just went downstairs one day, being handed an envelope by his cousin Yuki. A gold-lined envelope with a wax seal on it, embossed with something. An initial? He couldn't quite make it out, but he assumed it was another letter sent by the other Officer sending him his paycheck.

It wasn't a paycheck. It was a letter inviting him to a secret Santa gift exchange, along with details on the event and his giftee's preferences. How the hell this guy managed to invite a spirit to his manor remained a mystery, but he brushed it off, reading the preferences, and grabbing the present he needed, wrapping it carefully in a cloth pouch and slipping it into his bag, braiding a few strands of magic to conceal his inhuman features.

Once he figured out where the manor was and could visualize it, he teleported to it at the perfect time, in front of the entrance, and leaded to his room by various butlers and maids, all talking at once and grabbing his bag before he separated from them as they waited outside the door, a single butler stepping forward and explaining everything, in case he hadn't read the letter properly, handing him back his bag.

He shut the door, letting out a sigh of relief as he slid down it. He didn't like interacting with people, unless he knew them well. When he walked over to the bed, he noticed a silky velvet outfit on the bed. A suit and pants, black with gold cuffs and accents. When he looked closer, there were little cats stitched onto the breast pocket, making him smile as he saw the pin. A black glossy swan design, complete with gold accents as well, next to a black cat mask that matched the first two items, except designed as a black cat, with gold whiskers and eyeliner around the eyeholes.
He slipped on the clothes and mask, noticing as they went transparent as soon as they settled on his body before he went back to solid, pinning the pin over the breast pocket.

He went over to the door, turning the handle and stepped out. Maybe he could explore a little bit; he didn't want to get lost the next time he went out, now would he?

Russel made his way out of the room, carefully turning the doorknob and shutting it behind him. He took the time to examine the inside of the mansion, not given much of a chance when being led quickly to his room. He was taken aback by how much bigger it looked on the inside, and how fancy it was. Never had he thought he’d see this much gold, or valuables.

He quickly straightened his posture, having been used to hunching his back over all the time put of force of habit. It wouldn’t hurt to try and act more civilized in the home of the richest man alive.

Seeing as he was the richest man alive, maybe he wouldn’t notice a few things going missing. It’d just be a few dollars out of the guy’s bank account!
Russel wouldn’t steal a lot, just a few minor things!

Maybe one of the vases he’d spotted upon walking in, or one of the curtains. Even a doorknob might even be a enough to supply him an entire house! He considered his options while wandering around what felt more like a palace than a mansion. He had to be careful if he were to steal something, there could be cameras everywhere, and those servants as well.

Russel would wait until later, probably after gifting his secret Santa-person. Then, when that was out of the way, he’d basically be free to do whatever!

Yuuji walked around, going through a few glass doors and somehow ending up inside a courtyard-patio kind of thing. Hanging lights twinkled above him as he took in his surroundings.
A lot of white couches, granite walkways, and even a small firepit in the corner, with a bag of marshmallows laying on it innocently.
He walked over and sat down, looking around to see if anyone was nearby.
His fingers threaded through his shoulder-length green hair, braiding it in quick, concise motions.
He felt a temptation to take his mask off, but stopped after remembering why it was on in the first place.
Maybe his giftee would show up there?
