Russel hadn’t quite decided yet on why he accepted the invite. Maybe to finally arise some interesting events in his life, maybe to try and see if he could make amends with humans, maybe something else. It wasn’t a big thing to worry about, what was quite troubling for him, though, was how the invite got to his bunker in the first place. A gold lined envelope with a very fancy-looking stamp.
His first assumption was that it was A11 playing tricks on him, an attempt to play some sort of prank. Upon opening the letter, he was proven otherwise. Some big, fancy rich man had somehow managed to invite a human-hating android to a secret-Santa-masquerade-party-thing. It put him at a certain unease on how this random guy, with enough money to support this kind of event, had managed to reach him, much less think it was a good idea to invite him.
Russel considered his options, he could easily attend, and flip what the people expected on their heads.
That… or, he could go to evaluate the humans. Just to see if all of them were as bad as what he’d met in his life.
Currently, he was searching for a gift in one of the back-alley markets. The person he was gifting hadn’t quite given much for him to go off of, but that was alright. He was bound to figure something out!
Once he eventually found said gift, he wrapped it to the best of his ability, using wires in place of ribbons, and metal sheets for wrapping. How he thought his person would open such a thing? He hadn’t figured out yet.
Russel tried his best to walk to the manor in a steady time frame, making sure that he was on-time. The moment he set foot into the neighborhood, he knew exactly where the manor was.
He strode on over, and immediately upon walking up onto the porch, a few maids and butlers rushed out of the household. They’re voices excited and all talking at the same time.
They all escorted him to his room, explaining a few things just in case he hadn’t caught them in the letter, and leaving him alone in the room. Well, that was eventful!
Russel examined his surroundings, taking in the detail and comfort the room had. Lying on the bed was a silky black outfit, lined with gold lace and beaded with amber specks. Said outfit was a long, flowing dress, surprisingly his exact clothing size. Once he finished admiring the dress, he moved onto the small pin, said to match the one he was supposed to be gifting.
The pin was like a small, black feathered swan.
He didn’t have many plans to return neither the outfit or the pin.
The mask matched the outfit and pin, glossy black with golden-painted streaks along the side. Not much different from the dress.
Russel dressed himself in the new clothes provided, snapping on the pin and sliding on the mask. It wouldn’t hurt to wander a bit..
