Found in the Wild Blue

Lynn had left the cake on the desk and long since left locking the door behind her, she needed to get back on deck while Danny was in the lower floors with a majority of the crew.

"Keep that door secure no one in but the Captain or me." Lynn pointed at one of the guards who turned back and stood next to Aline's door.

A Few Hours Later

The green and brown haze of land on the horizon peeked into view as Zek walked to the front of the control room to the large front window. The light of dusk rolled over the water nearly forcing one to avert their eyes from the reflection if it weren't for the fact they were angled down to make a water landing.

"They've already cleared us and most of the supply's are on hand and waiting to be loaded." Vay's hand pressed a head set to his ear relaying the info as he received it. "They also send their regards for the continued support."

Zek smiled as he folded his hands at his waistline behind his back and stared off at the island a few moments more before turning away from the window and looking at his flight crew.

"Alright lets get ourselves docked, line in the water and pumping. I want our steam tanks filled in 3 hours and back in the air before we turn in for the night. Make sure maintenance is ready with the valves and every one else it ready to unload and load. We aren't on a social visit I don't need people wandering around on land for to long we got our guest to drop off as well before we get some free time." Zek pointed to a few people issuing each of his instructions and they were quickly relayed over the ships intercom system.

Walking to his own chair just as they touched down Zek picked up that gold colored gauntlet, slipping it onto his left hand and heading to the cargo bay to direct and help unload. Aline would have to stay locked up for the time being, at best she would get dinner in about an hour and a half from now or when the loading was completed. They needed to drop off these medical supply's first to start loading in their food though.

Walking into the cargo hold seeing his crew lining everything that needed to be unloaded near the dock door.
"Alright everyone let's bring these people something to smile about!"

Aline awoke from a short, uneasy nap just as she heard some loud shuffling going around. Had they already arrived in Talder’ran? She immediately ran up towards the bedroom window. As she did so, she haphazardly put up her mess of a hair in a bun to get it out of the way. Her eyes squinted at the figures that were receiving the packages that the pirates were unloading.
An eyebrow raised in confusion.

Her hands immediately tried to clear the window’s glass. Aline could make out figures of small children and adults running around the pirates, smiling widely as the packages were set down in front of some adults. She recognized the captain speaking with some people who looked like doctors. What the hell? The place looked like some sort of a refugee camp. Were these people pirates too? It didn’t look like it. The crates looked like they were filled with medical supplies and food. She could see some pirates who looked like they were giving instructions to others on how to use a weapon.

Was Captain Zeus some sort of a pirate Robinhood? She snorted. That was just a bit hilarious. The cake on the table had rather turned to mush. Aline’s stomach was beginning to slowly feel the pang of hunger. Perhaps it was unwise for her to refuse the cake. But she’s had worse. A little hunger was nothing.

Aline’s gaze turned back into the scene outside. She could not tell exactly where they were. How far were they from Talder’ran? Would it be smart to try to get away now while everyone else was distracted? Surely, the captain would leave someone to guard her door. But that could easily be handled. Her head was spinning on a lot of ideas. Then again, Zeus did not look like the kind of guy who would just let a prisoner escape. The whole place was probably rigged. She exhaled sharply, annoyed.

One hand on her hip and the other ticking at the window pane. Amber eyes watched the figure of a man outside, animatedly talking with some adults and children. This man had inadvertently piqued her interest.

“Captain Zeus, huh? You are one hell of a character.”
