A game that I brought to this site awhile ago from my initial bout of activity on this site. (that I found on a different site)
so we start with a fortunate event. Then we go to an unfortunate event.

ex: person A :fortunately, Bob found the cd he was looking for.
person B: unfortunately it was broken.
person C: fortunately, he knew a guy who could hook him up with a replacement.
person D: unfortunately.... (insert unfortunate event here, making it somehow related to prior fortunate event)
and so forth

last time we went from someone winning the lottery to gremlins being on a different dangerous planet!

let's see what kinda story we can do this time!

Fortunately, Tim got an A+ on his math test.
 
Unfortunately, he was looking at the test the wrong way and it was a F-.
 
Fortunately, he was able to retake the test.
 
Unfortunately, the teacher misplaced his retake test and thought he just didn't turn it so the F remained.
 
Fortunately, he found some way to go back in time in order to actually retake the test.
 
Unfortunately, he traveled to the past and accidently kissed his best friend's mother.
 
fortunately, the mistake got cleared up quite quickly.
 
Unfortunately, this event spread among students of the school, giving Tim a bad reputation.
 
Fortunately, Tim has a thick skin so if others talk they just talk.
 
Unfortunately, he was expelled due to the nature the rumor grew too.
 
Fortunately, he gets to live with his uncle where he'll be able to go to an alternative school.
 
Unfortunately, his uncle died the first night Tim arrived there.
 
Fortunately, his uncle left him some money to live on so Tim has options.
 
Unfortunately, all of Tim's uncle money was obtained illegally.
 
Fortunately, he was a master criminal.
 
Unfortunately, in his line of criminal activity he became the target of assassins.
 
Fortunately, the assassins didn't know about Tim.
 
Unfortunately, his former best friend's mother did. For revenge of Tim accidentally kissing her she divulged information about him to the assassins.
 
Fortunately, Tim had altered his appearance to remain unnoticed.

Unfortunately, while Tim may have altered his appearance he could not change his blood type and therefore the assassins were still after him.
