Kuroh finally awakened from his long nap. He walked closer and closer to the end of the desert. Finally he had made it back to the forest. Walking a bit further he went to his little hut of a home he had kept after his family had been killed. The hut wasn't big, it was a small little comfy home that he enjoyed. Opening the door he set his things to the left of it. He prepared himself a small meal to eat. He sat at his makeshift table eating it whole. Deciding he was full he decided to leave his hut and go and explore the forest some.

When Moki heard Max's voice his eyes started to shine. He looked around him and just barely saw something brown move. That had to be him. Moki started running towards max at full speed, ready to tackle him. With the grace of a deer he tackled Max together with him in the water. For a moment they were both submerged but Moki soon surfaced again. "Want to play Max?" He had a sheepish grin on his face. "Any game you want." Then Moki saw some flowers floating on the water and he felt at his antlers. "Or if you want you can help me decorate again." He took some naked vines of his antlers wich were now useless for him.

Nwanne had come outside again with a big bucket of cloths that needed washing. She had it soon filled up with water and had added some soapherb. Now came the hard labor of actually washing it. There was nothing to look forward to, since she had to wash it herself. Nwanne sighed and rolled up her non-existent sleeves. "Let's get to work." She started scrubbing the clothes over the washboard with all her might. Just when she was in between scrubs she heard a small voice. Nwanne stopped and looked around for the one who said that. She cautiously approached the voice, hoping it was not a trap from hunters. Instead she found a little cat eared dobutsu hunched and it seemed kind of scared. Her suspicousness was blown away and immediatly replaced by pity. Nwanne kneeled down as not to scare the girl and reached her hand out. "Girl, even if you are lost you shouldn't walk around naked." She said in her most sweet and calming voice. "Come, stand up. I will give you some clothes." She had no idea that the girl was a newly created dobutsu and thought she was like any other normal lost girl. Only naked.

Cain finished had finished his coffee but he kept looking at the forest. Listening to the forest coming alive. Uriel started purring as Cain absentmindedly petted him. "Nice morning isn't it, Uriel" The cat gave a small sound as anwser. Soon the cat started miauwing out loud. "I get it." Cain stood up, pushing Uriel from his lap. "Enough staring more food." He went inside closed the door behind the cat, put his mug away and walked to a bird cage. The cage held a small bird that cain had caught in the forest yesterday. He opened the cage and let the bird fly around his house. Uriel followed the little thing with greedy eyes, hunting season was open. The bird flew from perch to perch but everyone of them was reachable by the cat. They both kept going around the house while Cain grabbed a book to read. It was daily occurance to him, he liked to keep Uriel's hunting instinct intact and he didn't need to play with him this way. He setled down on his couch and started reading while the hunt made a lot of background noise.
"What are you talking about I'm alwa--" Mag said then she stopped. She looked down to she her pale smooth skin and small breasts. She had no fur and no paws. She touched her head and there were ears and turned to her back to her a cat's tail. "AAA!! what the heck!?" MAg stumbled on her the ground and then got up. "I'm human???" Mag was extremely confused.

Taira did as Harris said and returned to the water, making a small splash and a few ripple as she entered the lake once more. She floated on her back a few feet below the surface of the water and realized how she must have sounded like a fool when panicking about Kasuki to Harris. She took a moment to calm herself, thinking positive thoughts such as what the two sisters would do once they were reunited. If they were reunited. As much as she tried, Taira could not keep from worrying herself more. She moved to bring her head out of the water, hair pressed against her forehead and ears. She watched Harris set down the hunter after knocking him out, not realizing he was only unconsious. Of course she didn't feel sympathy towards the hunter however, he stole her family.

In the tiny wooden hut Shiori called home, the petite reindeer was tidying up her home. Though there weren't many items in her little hut, she was grateful for what she had and made sure to keep everything in the best shape possible. She dusted away along her drawers and desk, getting every little speck of dust to fly away out her open window.

Ori had heard about a meeting near the edge of the forest about attacking the hunters, but she didn't know for what reason or the people involved in the situation. She did feel a bit guilty for not helping out and had a gut feeling that something might be wrong, but she also knew that most if not all the dobutsu in the forest were capable of taking care of each other and themselves. Opening up another window to let more sunlight in, she breathed in the fresh air. Something caught her eye, however, as she noticed a dark figure descend from a grand willow tree about a mile away, standing out from the bright environment.

Tall with wings larger than her whole body, he seemed a little scary to approach. But, upon closer examination (by leaning out her window in a rather dangerous fashion), he seemed somewhat approachable. The wings covering his body were colored strangely but beautifully, looking light and feathery in appearance. She was curious about this creature, but not curious enough to stop her cleaning all at once. After all, she was too timid to make new relationships out of the blue. Her fate did not take too kindly to that decision, though.

"Ow!" She yelped, hitting her lengthy antlers in trying to back out of the window against the shabby wall of her hut. Ori tried once more to back up without hitting her antlers and glanced up to see if the brooding figure in the distance had noticed her rather embarrassing cry of pain.

Umiko stared at Harris for a little while, contemplating if she should accept his offer or not. Well, it's not like I have something else to do right? I shouldn't have finished all my work today she thought to herself before speaking "As you wish. I'll be waiting at the willow tree"

She then submerged herself into the cool, crisp water, letting her stingers float around her and letting herself get hydrated again. Even if there was a little feud going on between humans and dobutsu, Umiko still makes sure that she can find relaxation in her life, and water always gives it to her.

As she arrives at the willow tree and got out of the water, Umiko noticed Midori, the crow dobutsu that she also finds so charming. She had met him a few times and but they really haven't talked much. You could say that he's an acquaintance. "Greetings, Midori" Umiko greeted as she sat on a tree root, wringing out the water on her purple hair and her dress. "It's been a while since we've seen each other haven't we?"

Umiko then noticed a deer dobutsu not far from them, its antlers hitting the window as the dobutsu backed out. Now, Umiko knows that it's rude to laugh and its informal to do so, but she can't help herself and let out a small giggle.

The male was suddenly snapped from his thoughts as soon as he heard a womanly voice. He turned around curiously, giving full attention as he saw a purple woman. "Greetings, Midori" he heard. Midori simply squatted beside the lake as he was outside of his willow tree -no longer hiding under it- and eyed the woman down, before giving her a smile."Why.. Hello, Umiko." He said tone friendly. He was somewhat familiar with her, but they weren't close enough to be friends. It was just a slight gap really but he didn't mind nonetheless."So, how are you?" he asked."Life in the water--Hows that?" inquired Midori just thinking up of a nice and easy conversation. As he was listening to the woman's response, Midori couldn't help but look over his shoulder as he heard a 'Thunk!'.

It sounded like something hitting against a wooden surface or so, and was followed up by a female's voice, a soft voice yelping,"Ow!". "Hmm, how troubling." He stated as he looked back at Umiko. "Sorry, Umiko. Please excuse me.. I'm gonna go help the girl over there. I know our interactions are often short-- I'll try coming back soon to talk more.. And if I don't, Maybe next time when we chat I promise to stay and listen longer." He said as he gave a forgiving smile and stood up from where he was. From afar saw a girl with antlers. He couldn't really inspect from afar and so walked towards her as she was grimacing in slight pain before he quietly stood there, blinking his green eyes. It was a deer-Dobutsu, and as she looked up--He moved his head back a bit to give her some room."Sorry for being close--Hello here." He said, before averting his gaze to her large and beautiful antlers. She seemed to be in tiny trouble."Do you need help?" He asked looking back at her eyes. He didn't pull out his hands yet since he wanted permission to help first--Some dobutsu's were alarmed like prey while others were stubborn like predators. So he was pretty cautious.

To the crow, he wasn't necessarily familiar at all with the young lady and he grinned gently, letting out a soft chuckle."You seem to be a bit clumsy--Its so cute." He commented with ease, as he gently pulled out his hands from his wings that acted as a cloak. His crow hands suddenly shifted to look more human and less intimidating as he placed them on her antlers gently and helped angle her head to slide back in easier, his other hand holding up the window. He couldn't help but help, she practically seemed harmless to him but he still kept his caution and soon retreated his hands as they slowly transformed back to its crow-like looking state and hid in his cloaky-wings. He kept his bright and friendly Grin."Are you okay, miss?" He asked looking up at her.

Umiko continued wringing out the water out of her hair before flipping it off of her shoulders as she replied "I'm fine, thank you. Life in the water is still the same: cold yet exciting and fun. How about you, Midori? How are you and how's--"

Umiko then was suddenly cut off when Midori spoke up about the deer-girl, making her scowl a little. She was raised as a lady and her parents taught her very well about manners. She knows that it's rude to cut off people while they were talking so why in the world would Midori do that to her? There's nothing more annoying than not finishing up a sentence. Staring coldly at Midori, Umiko then focused her gaze back into the water before speaking "Of course. Do what you must."

This is one of the reasons why Umiko hated being out of the water: she always felt out of place. Due to her nature and being raised all her life underwater, she barely got any friends on land, just mere acquaintances. Even if she did have acquaintances, it seems like they were not really fond of her.

With a deep sigh, Umiko dipped her hands in the water as it moves softly around her outstretched fingers, caressing cooly, eddying in their wake. "Maybe it would be better if I return underwater.." she whispered, taking her hand out of the water and admired the scenery. Under blue and sunlit skies, the view was wondrous to behold, for the lake teemed with life. To the chorus of bird song from the surrounding green bushes, and the sound of carp sucking amongst the flowering lily-pads, mother duck, watchful for the predatory pike, scooped the surface for food, with her young trailing behind like a row of bobbing corks. Dab chicks and coots fed in the safe haven of the reed-beds, whilst flashing green and blue dragonflies hovered above.
She can't help but smile at the sight before whispering once again "...maybe later."

"Sorry for being so close -- Hello here."

Shocked by his sudden appearance in front of her, she backed up against the wall of her house once more as another audible 'thunk' echoed in the relatively quiet forest, along with a giggle in the distance. She grunted, but not as loudly as before. His face was contorted in a worried expression, glancing up at her annoying antlers and then at her once more.

"Do you need help?" Ori didn't know what to say to this gorgeous creature other than stare at his emerald eyes and be flustered in her current situation. Eventually, she nodded slightly, careful to not hit her antlers against the wall again. His worried frown turned upwards, a small laugh escaping his lips. "You seem to be clumsy -- it's so cute."

Blood rushed to her face faster than a cheetah could catch his prey. Never was she ever this close to another dobutsu, and it made her heart pound either in excitement or heart wrenching terror and nervousness. Either way, she couldn't hold his gaze as she felt his hands trying to free her from the predicament she had put herself into.

Stupid curiousity, she thought, cursing away in her mind at herself.

After he had helped her out, he inquired about her state of being in which she curtly replied with a nod. Her mouth was glued shut for some reason, and every time she tried to open it, she couldn't think of any words to spout out. Should she simply say thank you and be on her merry way? Or should she ask about his presence in the forest? After all, it was her first time seeing the . . .

Wait, what even is he?

His wings were like none other she had seen, and she had seen many dobutsu with wings in the past. Nevertheless, she kept it in the back of her mind to ask later (either him or someone else in the forest). Ori noticed someone at the tree where the winged stranger was located before - a girl who looked a little disappointed and hurt wading all alone by the lakeside - so she thought of something polite to say fast, assuming that it was someone close to the stranger who wanted to talk to him. "Th-Thank you for helping me, sir. How can I repay you?"

She thought about asking for his name, but she didn't know how to ask. Should she say her name first in order to bring about a natural flow to the conversation? Or should she ask him straight up since he did approach her first? Questions circled her head as she bit her bottom lip without thinking. Eventually, she awkwardly whispered "Y-Your name . . . ?" a few seconds after her previous statement.

The sound of slithering movements awaken Kimiko from her short slumber. Rubbing her eyes to get rid the sleepiness she gently smiled to her little friends; though the others seems to address them as her servants, as she unwind the bundles tied on their backs and retrieved the tree roots they've got for her. She returned to her basket and added them inside. Doing a last check her on things she will bring for her session. Kimiko suddenly felt dread swirling on her stomach, a bad omen she always consider. After all this same feeling was the last thing she felt before her mother died from the hunters spear when she was young.

Swiftly turning around Kimiko stared at the forest opening watching every movement of the forest. Patiently waiting. If the hunters were able to find this new place then her life and the lives of the refugees will be in danger. And not only that, there was no one in this small habitat that can fight. It's either the occupants are young dobutsu and injured at that, there is also dobutsus who just wished to seclude theirselves away from the hunters. And lastly her, the only healer of the group. Hands clutching at her chest Kimiko started to think of an escape plan for her and the others.

Finally the lock clicked open and Harris put it into his pocket. it only costed him one of his lock picks... Oh well. He turned to see if the other hunter had awoken or something and he was pleasantly surprised to see that the hunter was STILL sleeping. It didn't really matter, it just made things easier for Harris. He slowly opens the door to the cage and smiles at it's captive. "Alright, let's go. Your sister is eager to see you. Harris turned to start running back to the lake, but he noticed something. The Hunter he saw sleeping was gone. He wasn't there anymore. No evidence that he was. It took all of 3 seconds until Harris knew where the hunter was. He was swinging a rather large knife at where Harris' throat was. Harris threw his head back and managed to get a free stubble shaving in the process. Harris let himself fall back once he had the optimum distance to the ground he planted his hands firmly down and bent his arms. A quick extension of his arms sent his feet into the hunter's jaw. The hunter was off the ground and so was Harris, his domain. Finally, Harris quickly flapped his wings in a way that sent him downwards and extended his leg plunging into the Hunter's chest. If he wasn't out of it, he was at least brutally winded.

Harris took a second to gather his thoughts on what just happened. He looked at the octopus girl and grabbed her arm and sprinted off towards the lake. He wasn't about to take any chances with sticking around. Hopefully she had the same idea as well. He ran as fast as his legs could take him, hoping that he wasn't dragging the poor octopus girl in the dust behind him. The lake was getting closer, but it still was a fair distance away.

Moki looked over all the things that Max had brought back. He was quick and it never ceases to amaze Moki how fast he was in the water. After he was finally done being amazed he actually inspected the flowers. There were some really nice ones and the cattails would be funny. "This will work." He himself grabbed some longrooted waterplants nearby. With precision and skill he grabbed flowers out of the hands of Max and started decorating. The antlers started to look like it was decorated for the hair of royalty and filled with ornaments. When he was done he slowly took his hand of the antles, hoping it would stay in place. "Well, what do you think." He shook his head a few times, everything held togethers. "Now, let's play!"

Nwanne slowly stood up, staying calm in front of the panicking girl. "You must be one of the animal turned dobutsu." She sighed and only for a moment she was filled with pity for the little thing. The girl had to get used to it, this was her live now. Warmly she grabbed the girls hand to get her attention again and smiled. "No need to panic. This is Hevandale forest, this is normal." A moment she waited to let it sink in before she slowly put her arm around her shoulders. "Let's get you inside for now. I have warm clothes and some food for you. Why don't you tell me your favourite." Nwanne started to guide the new dobutsu towards her home. The wash can be sone later. It was poor fate for the little kitty to be turned in a dobutsu in Nwanne's opinion. And if it wasn't a little kid then she wouldn't have been so patient.

"I'm kind of cold... so where are theses clothes?" Mag asked the winged girl. Mag wondered how the girl got her wings. Was she born with them and what was she talking about.

"Yes thank you sir.." Kasuki said diving into the lake and swimming into the center. Then she smelled her. Taira. "BIG SIS!!!" Kasuki yelled tears flowing down her face. "Where are you?" she smiled and looked around for her.

"Looks great! Maaaybe it's a bit much, but that might be good so that when stuff starts falling off or dying it will be just enough." Maxie nodded. "Now that that's done, what should we do this time..? I wanna built a fort!" His enthusiasm was dripping with sweetness. Sometimes it was hard to believe he was a boy. He dunked himself under the water to feel the cool sensation of H2O rushing gently past his skin, already hunting for things to build with. Not seeing anything within a few seconds, he re-surfaced. "What could we use?" he questioned.

Adaline walked through the forest which had been home to her kind for centuries. Many species lived here, as well as those like her. Human, but with animal features and senses. She'd seen them before and thought each one was unique and amazing. Sighing softly, the female deer looked over at the large buck beside her who walked with his head held high, chest puffed out, and gaze forward. Seeing this, Adaline chuckled and looked ahead. "Has anyone ever told you how ridiculous you look?" She joked, gaining his attention. The buck looked down at Adaline and sighed. "Not until now." He responded, his posture becoming normal with a straight back and neck. Adaline stopped and picked up a white rabbit that had found it's way to her. "Hey there." She greeted it, holding it close to her and petting it. She started walking and soon found herself by a stream. Looking down into the water, she saw her reflection. Antlers and all.

Like usual, Jayce found himself bored with nothing to do. Putting his hands behind his head, he laid against the side of one of the rams in the flock. "What am I going to do? There's no one else like me in these fields!" He complained to himself. Jayce removed one of his hands and traced one of his horns. Sighing heavily, the usually up-beat and active guy now slumped and stared at the grass. "Life just ain't fair." He muttered to himself while pulling on the grass.

Harris didn't really need a thank you, he was just doing what was right. It felt good to see someone so happy, frankly that's all he needed. He gave the octopus girl a nod and burst off into the sky. It was overkill going up that high, but he usually did this when he was exceptionally happy. Of course, he still had to go to the willow tree to see Umiko. He wouldn't pass up that opportunity.

He let himself fall and opened his wings just above the water. It was very nice and cooling... all the mist that was coming up invigorated him. Harris looked up just in time to see this deer girl peering into the water. He closed his wings and his body skipped across the water once and he tumbled onto the shore, just barely missing the girl. However it wasn't a soft landing for him. After grunting in pain Harris slowly stood up and looked at the huge buck. Next to it was a deer Dobotsu. She was seemingly the opposite of this Buck. She was small, and seemed fragile. She probably wasn't... "Uh... Sorry about that... Probably scared the life out of you." he smiled and started combing his wings again. He wanted to leave and see Umiko, but he had to at least stick around long enough here so that this deer girl wouldn't think he was a blind flying idiot. @XxDreamingxX

The girl was practically stammering before him. She stuttered--But it was a true trait of hers. She seemed to actually be shy in general, and Midori listened carefully. "Th-Thank you for helping me, sir. How can I repay you?" she offered. He blinked for a moment, pondering for a bit."Well to be honest--I frankly don't know. I hope you don't mind me saving your offer of repayment though." He stated before finally having something."Maybe help me when I need it most in the future." the man grinned at her as the deer tried to keep the conversation up."Y-Your name . . . ?" she asked softly. "Well--Isn't it common cuterousy to introduce yourself before asking for another's name?" The crow asked as he tilted his head off to the side. He then gave her a chuckle of amusement and shook his head."No--I was only kidding.. Sorry." apologized Midori quickly. "I'm Midori--How about you?" he reflected the question back at her.

Taira found her sister in the middle of the lake and resurfaced in front of her, embracing her in a hug. She was smiling from ear to ear when se let Kasuki go. "Welcome back." She said.

Finny was sitting on a low branch in a tree when he saw a man leaning against one of the sheep in the field. He stared for a moment, then hopped down off of the branch and started skipping towards the group of sheep. He was waving his arms back and forth with enthusiasm, his head tilted back slightly so that he could admire the oddly shaped clouds and let the breeze catch in the bright pink hood he wore over his ears. Once he got closer the stranger he stopped skipping and put his hands on his knees, leaning down to meet the man's current height. "Hey, what's wrong?" He pouted.

"Maybe help me when I need it most in the future."

What could he mean by that? Ori stared innocently at the man as she asked for his name in an unusual manner.

"Well--Isn't it common courtesy to introduce yourself before asking for another's name?" His grinning face told her that he was just joking, but she blushed once more as his words were true. What was she thinking? She looked down, embarrassed at her actions and fumbled with the hem of her knee length dress.

"Pardon my rudeness," She mumbled out barely, still flushed. Ori heard him chuckle and looked up shyly. Shaking his head, he apologized for his sarcastic remark. "Ah, no! It is certainly my fault for not introducing myself first." She trailed off, inaudible and incohesive words coming out of her mouth.

"I'm Midori--How about you?" he reflected the question back at her.

"Shiori Ishimoto, but you can just call me Ori." She glanced at his intimidating wings once more, still fascinated yet frightened by their sheer sizes. "B-But, you don't have to if you don't want to."

Ori was still contemplating whether or not to ask what species he had hailed from. Would it be rude to ask? No, it's just a question. He seems to proudly be in this state, so whatever he is, he isn't ashamed or secretive about it. After all, she was still getting used to the new dobutsu species she had surrounded herself with, growing up with only land dobutsu and not any flying types.

"E-Excuse me for one moment." She decided to come outside and continue their conversation. After all, it was rude and awkward to talk to someone through a window, and she felt uncomfortable with inviting a stranger into her house. "Are you new around here? I haven't seen anyone like you in this forest. You seem to have," Pausing, she wondered how to approach the matter, "unique wings unlike other flying dobutsu around here. Don't get me wrong -- they're very pretty."

Umiko kept her gaze on the horizon, just admiring the view and slowly forgetting the loneliness she's feeling. She was raised as an independent girl and lived alone just fine, why must she seek a companion now? Is it really necessary for her to make friends in the land? As she thought about these two questions, she started to notice that she's starting to get bored. This is also one of the reasons why she didn't like to be on land: she gets bored easily. True that there are a lot of things to explore on land and many flora and fauna to study, but compared to water, water is much more interesting. Ninety six point five percent of the world is composed of water and only less than five percent of it was explored. Now who wouldn't find water interesting?

"Hmm.. I promise Harris that I'll be waiting and Midori might come back looking for me...what should I do?" she whispered to herself, looking at the water once again "I'm starting to get bored.."

A bright idea then popped into her mind, a perfect solution for her little dilemma. What if she makes some garlands while she was waiting? Splashing herself in the water and swimming under, she went to the other side of the lake to gather some water lilies and pickerel flowers. It's quite odd that there's only a few flowers left around the area and it seems like most of them were plucked. "Peculiar. I do remember that there used to be so many flowers here. I wonder where it went." she mumbled to herself before noticing a deer and an otter dobutsu conversing with each other and planning on building a fort.

"Ah, so that's where the flowers went." she giggled to herself as she saw the deer's antlers beautifully decorated, her question about the flowers now answered. She then swam towards the two children, thinking that it would be better to help them first before moving on with her task. Besides, I think the two birds waiting for me wouldn't hurt them.

"Hello, my dears." she greeted the two, smiling warmly at them as her humanitarian trait taking over. "I couldn't help but overheard your conversation about building a fort and well, I was hoping I could help gather some of the materials. Is that alright?"

"Thank you big sis I missed you so much," Kasuki smiled and accepted the embrace. It was great to be back in the water with her sis. The land was something she didn't want to be on again, especially when there's hunters roaming about. "I missed you so much," she said again rubbing her cheek on her's.
