Ferrus - Branded Dark Mage
Age: 45 (appears 12)

Race: Beorc (Branded)

Talents/Skills: Wields Dark Magic, and is knowledgeable about really obscure matters.

Class: Dark Mage

General Appearance: Due to an experiment with dark magic backfiring on him, Ferrus is trapped in his child form. He wears light purple and blue tunics. His Brand is located on his stomach just above his belly button. Ferrus is also left-handed. He carries a fox mask with him, which is a memento of his childhood. In his adult form he looks between 25 and 30 years of age, this is due to the fact that Branded age slower than pure Beorc.

Child Form
Mage2_zps3f9a3f93.jpg

Adult Form

AdultMage_zpsd5beb921.jpg

Height: 5'10" (4'10" in child form)

Weight: Lean (Scrawny in child form)

Eye Color: Baby Blue

Hair Color: Black

Skin Color: White

Habits: Scribbles notes in his tome constantly.

Hobbies: Experimenting with the natural world and its inhabitants

Greatest flaw:

--Mentally-- Ferrus doesn't value himself at all, due to his origins and so will put himself in dangerous situations and experiment on himself without a care for his well-being.

--Physically-- Luck, things rarely seem to go the way Ferrus would like them to.

Best quality:

--Mentally-- Ferrus is extremely objective and can look at most situations without bias, there are a few areas that he is very emotional about but he keeps them well-hidden

--Physically-- Magic, Ferrus' grasp of the arcane arts, specifically Dark Magic, is rivaled by only a few of his contemporaries

Personality Characteristics

General Personality

Ferrus is extroverted, reckless to some degree, and always deflects questions about himself and his past with a smile and a deft change of subject. He trusts all people to a certain extent, and doesn't anger easily. If he is interested in something he tends to relentlessly pursue it until his curiosity is satisfied.

How does the Character see himself/herself?

Ferrus doesn't value his life as important. He was born the illegitimate son of a Renais nobleman and his slave Laguz, and was told from birth that his existence was meaningless, a product of Beorc assertion of dominance. He has accepted that, and strives to simply enjoy his meaningless life.

How does the Character believe he/she is perceived by others?

Ferrus believes that other Beorc see him as an unwanted blot in their society, especially his younger half-brother, the legitimate heir to the noble house. He believes that the Laguz would see him as the evidence of the crimes and barbary of the Beorc. Ferrus thinks that anything would be better than his life with the Beorc, which, along with his curiosity about his mother, prompted his decision to seek out the Laguz.

How self-confident is the character?

Ferrus is well-aware of his limits, but consistently puts himself in situations where he knows he is at a disadvantage.

Ruled by logic/emotion

Ferrus is a very logical thinker, having locked away his true emotions at an early age, but there are a few instances where he will act purely on emotion. For instance if someone he cares about needs help, or his mother is mentioned.

Emotional Characteristics

Strength/Weakness

Strengths:

--Not afraid of risking his life

--Unfazed by the carnage of war and loss of life

Weaknesses:

--Too willing to risk his life, reckless actions tend to get him into trouble

--Not particularly attached to any cause, he doesn't respond well to impassioned speeches

What does the character want out of life

Ferrus wants to find his mother, who ran from the castle one night. Other than that he has no set goals.

What would the character like to change in his life?

Ferrus would like to change his meaningless existence

What motivates this character?

Curiosity, and his desire to find out what happened to his mother.

Other notes:

Ferrus' mother is a Crow Laguz, though this fact is unknown to him currently. Ferrus has run away from Beorc-controlled lands into Laguz-controlled lands in search of his mother. He feels more inclined to side with the Laguz over the Beorc despite being Beorc himself. This is because there is nothing positive Ferrus can associate with the Beorc, whereas there is a possibility that the Laguz will not treat him the same way as the Beorc did.

Basic Statistics

Name: Carte
Age: 23
Race: Taguel
Talents/Skills:
Quick Thinker
Collaborator
Swift Footed
Calm Natured
Class: Tactician

Physical Characteristics:
(Referencial)
140214-184640.jpg

General Appearance:
Carte Face Sprite.jpg
Carte is a young Raustish Taguel with the expected features like lines on his cheeks and forehead, hair extending over certain parts of his body (neck, shoulders, wrists, short tail, etc), along with his hair being curlier than most, his chin being sharper, and his nose being pointier, as opposed to the normal button nose. He always looks determined, and when he smiles, it looks like a smirk if you don't look at him head on. He wears his hair in a single, long braid down his back, his ears falling on the front of his shoulders with large rings (like Panne's) around the base, and a short plait extending from his chin in a goatee. He wears a black hooded longcoat with a green velvet interior andsilver accents, such as clasps and lining. He also wears Taguel armor under the coat.

Height: 6' 3"
Weight: Aerobic
Eye Color: Taguel's Greyish-Brown
Hair Color: Taguel's Dark Brown
Skin color: Taguel's Greyish-Cream
Habits: Running After Scents, Itching with Teeth, Pulling or Massaging Ears When Stressed
Hobbies: Reading Tomes and Historical Records, Planting Carrots, Transformed Running Exercises
Greatest flaw: Accidental Transformations when carrying a Beaststone
Best quality: Swift of Mind and Body

Personality Characteristics

What is your character's general personality?
Carte is friendly and open-minded, accepting people's decisions, so long as they do not harm good people. He is an idealist, and believes that any enemy which cannot be dealt with diplomatically should be destroyed for the good of the rest of the world. "Take one life, save a thousand" is a philosophy he gathered from various historical texts. Carte is also an intellectual and an aspiring philosopher, constantly reading, thinking, planting, or exercising. He plants carrots all the time so that in a few months, any Taguel following his tracks will have a nice snack to help them on their journey - and in case he ends up doubling back for whatever reason. He knows that the winners write the history books, so he is often on the lookout for banned texts and manuscripts about past wars, to see multiple points of view and make decisions on his next move and think up an addition to his philosophy.

How does Character see himself/herself?
Carte believes he is a genius, and it doesn't help his naivety that he's able to prove it. He admits he can be wrong, but has a hard time realizing when he is, and thus needs to be talked down when he gets jabbering on about something. A good gift to give him would be a Secret Book.

How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others?
Carte is seen as a bit of a mongrel, despite his abilities. People tend to see a know-it-all with bunny ears and a tail and think he's nothing - until he proves his abilities, of course. After he proves himself, he is regarded as an asset and a protective friend.

How self-confident is the character?
Carte is naive and somewhat full of himself, but knows he isn't perfect, and that he can be wrong. He likes company, but hates the gazes he gets from people who don't know him

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof?
Carte applies logic to emotion, and thus can have his personality seem to shift completely when new information is revealed. He tends to believe that no intelligent being is better than another - Beorcs are equal to Manaketes are equal toLaguz are equal to Taguel. The only exceptions he makes are that he believes diviners like Lady Tiki are greater beings, and that anybody who thinks another less than them simply by their race is the lesser of any.

Emotional Characteristics

Strengths/Weaknesses?
Carte is open to debate and collaboration, but he will not tolerate unacceptable decisions and making unnecessary sacrifices. He loves the company of other Tacticians for their remarkable intelligence, Swordmasters for their skill, andLords for their experience.
Carte will often put himself down if he's feeling lousy, often as a result of accidental hypocrisies. He will always try to correct himself, but may sulk for a day or two.

What does the character want out of life?
Carte wishes to hold the greatest collection of banned books and manuscripts known to man, and have a vast range of knowledge - including the ability to name the page of a book which a quote appears in it. He wants to be able to memorize spell incantations so he will no longer require a tome to use magic, although he hypothesizes that tomes are required due to the insignias inscribed within the pages, and thus, has attempted to learn embroidery so he can stitch them on his sleeves. He has so far not done too well with fine embroidery, but he was able to place a single symbol from a Wind tome on a left handed glove, and keeps it with him to further enhance his knowledge of magic and tomes.

What would the character like to change in his/her life?
Carte wishes to solve the sad truth of oppression in the modern society, and travels around to prove himself to those who tend to look down on his kind, the Laguz, and the Manaketes. He often makes requests for audiences with royalty, but has so far only been successful in Rausten - which really doesn't help.

What motivates this character?
The quest for knowledge and the pursuit of his ideals.

Name: Folle
Age: 18
Race: Taguel
Talents/Skills:
Acrobatic
Charismatic
Resistant to Magic
Swordfaire
Class: Myrmidon

Physical Characteristics:
(Referencial)
140214-184600.jpg

General Appearance:
Folle Face Sprite.jpg
Folle is a Carcinoan Taguel with much more human features than other Taguel. This is due to her upbringing. She is primarily Taguel, with her face still bearing marks, and still having ears and a tail, except her ears are much shorter. Her hair is also greenish due to a Manakete ancestor. This propagates into a terrible shade for her hair, but she manages to pull it off. She wears her hair in twin tails, with her ears as a base. She wears it short, so her short ears are barely poking out from the bottom of the tails. She also has some hair falling down her back which she doesn't put into the tails. She leaves it as is. She wears traditional Myrmidon attire in violet, except with Taguel Armorreplacing the traditional chestplate.
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: Aerobic
Eye Color: Manakete's Violet
Hair Color: Taguel's Dark Brown (slightly Manakete's Green)
Skin color: Fair human complexion
Habits: Plays with Swords and Lances, Indulging in Scents, Overly Serious When Sparring, Plays with Hair
Hobbies: Sparring, playing with sharp objects, hitting people with sticks, cutting down enemies
Greatest flaw: Enjoys violence like a little girl enjoys playing with dolls
Best quality: Eager to brighten someone's day

Personality Characteristics

What is your character's general personality?
Folle was raised in Carcino. She is descended from Crimeans. She has a slight hint of Manakete in her blood. Folle is a mutt, and she's proud of it. She appreciates diversity and wants people to get along. She tries to drown out foul news with happy thoughts and ideas. She's the first to laugh after a funeral, and tends to get others to fall in line. Folle has a knack for turning bad situations on their heads through humor and sanguine disposition. She loves nothing more than making friends and making people feel better when they're down. She loves travelling with friends, but wishes she could make a few Beorc friends while she went around. She's been to Rausten and has even dared to skirt Renais. It was not a fruitful event for her and she tends to stay away. The one thing she fears is discrimination, which she faces almost everywhere - even a few Raustish folk have it out for her on account of her diluted blood.

How does Character see himself/herself?
Folle sees herself as a girl looking to have fun and fights. She admits she's a bit cocky, but she can't turn down a duel - and she loves it. She sees herself, above all, as a sign of acceptance. She wishes Beorcs and Raustish would take a page out of the Crimean book and make diversity their policy. She's willing to join anybody who shares her ideals.

How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others?
Folle thinks she's seen as a happy girl, despite the fact that a lot of people see her as a gaudy, childish, and queer young woman. People don't tend to like her until they see her in a fight - and even then, they might fear her instead of take a liking to her.

How self-confident is the character?
Folle has an indomitable self-confidence, and loves a good duel.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof?
Folle doesn't care about logic. While she admires smart people, and is willing to take orders, she just wants to cut down a few bad guys. The only logic she applies is "How do I make this person happy?" or "How exactly am I going to cut this bad guy to ribbons? What's the best way to kill him? Oh, the possibilities~"

Emotional Characteristics

Strengths/Weaknesses?
Folle is incorrigibly happy and is only known to sulk for a few seconds after a funeral before she gets everyone laughing a riot. This does, however, make her very invasible, as the one way to cut a nerve is to imply that she doesn't care about people.

What does the character want out of life?
To make everyone happy and make sure everyone loves each other so they can dance on the bodies of the bad guys.

What would the character like to change in his/her life?
People getting sad all the time - gods, is it really so hard to smile?

What motivates this character?
Her Crimean ancestors

Name:
Galric V'nyle (Gahl-rick Ve-nile)
Age: 26
Race: Beorc
Talents/Skills: Stealthy, picks locks and pockets, Assassination style combatant (striks before he's seen)
Class: Thief

Physical Characteristics
Height:
5'10"
Weight: Average build, Fit and limber
Habits: Drinks on occasion and can hold his liquor, Tells wild stories, extremely light sleeper. He'll gamble on pretty much anything.
Hobbies: Cards, Weapons Training, a good story, Riddles and brain teasers.
Greatest flaw: Claims armor hinders his ability to move and so he refuses to wear any. He also enjoys spinning truth with lies and watching people pull the two apart.
Best quality: An excellent listener, to everybody regardless of his personal feelings. If you need information he can get it.

Personality Characteristics
What is your character's general personality?
The world in general may see him as overly friendly, rather talkative, and something of a trickster. He can be charming when needed, but he also knows when to push a point home.
How does Character see himself? As a tool. He had no purpose except to fulfill his Lord's requests. His life, like his knifes and lock picks, exists only to do another's bidding. His loyalty can be bought. Though he would never betray his own personal code of honor.
How does Character believe he is perceived by others? He's been noticed? He's not supposed to be noticed, and if it is he should just be a vague memory of a average guy who was "nice enough". Oh you mean by his friends? Does he have friends? Well if he does he supposes they'd say he can tell a good story. Those who could claim to know him well (like his employer) expect him to lie, and would never ask him a serious question and expect an honest answer. Unless Galric's own safety was on the line, and even then it's not a guarantee.
How self-confident is the character? Extremely self confidant to the point of arrogance.
Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof? At times it may seem as if he does to something based entirely on emotion, however he is just that good an actor. The logic always pans out in the end. He believes that emotion has no place in his line of work unless it's being used as a tool.

Galric almost never loses his temper because doing so could disrupt the results of the end game. On the very rare occasions when he does grow angry, it's a very cold sort of anger.

Emotional Characteristics
Strengths/Weaknesses?
Both observant and intelligent (and rather proud of the fact) he notices details others may miss, and is extremely good at getting information from people who have no idea they've even told him anything of value.

He enjoys answering questions with tales so ludicrous that the listener can't help but accuse him of an obvious lie to which his usual reply is, "Yes, but wasn't that tale more entertaining than a simple 'I can't tell you that'?" What one believes Galric said is very rarely what he actually meant, and he's perfectly capable of wrapping a grain of truth in a story so full of believable lies that listener wouldn't be able to discern the one from the other. Even his accent is a lie as he can shift easily from one dialect to another no one is really sure which is the original.
What does the character want out of life? A comfortable bed, a good book, a strong drink, and maybe someone to share it with that he doesn't feel the need to lie to.
What would the character like to change in his/her life? Changing his life implies he's ashamed of it. He's not.
What motivates this character? Profit. What is it he's going to gain? And it need not be monetary.

Basic Statistics
Name:
Raymond (Rae) Lawrence
Age: 23
Race: Beorc (actually branded, but she's pretending to be Beorc)
Talents/Skills: Riding and scouting terrain, excellent head for heights, Can use a lance and Javelin, can travel long distances quickly.
Class: Pegasus Knight

Physical Characteristics:
Height:
5'1"
Weight: Short and light (more petite than slim), but strong
Habits: bites her lower lip when worried, hums when taking care of Marko (her Pegasus) or other horses, talks in her sleep.
Hobbies: Riding and training horses, enjoys sparing with the boys, enjoys cooking.
Greatest flaw: She's stubborn and insists on always doing the right thing, even when doing so could cause problems.
Best quality: She's got a kind and compassionate heart.

Personality Characteristics
What is your character's general personality?
At first Rae may appear to be shy, but it's quite simply because she wishes to gauge her companion's personalities and not give off a bad first impression by making mistakes. Once she knows a person she carries a conversation without worry, and both smiles and laughs easily.
How does Character see herself? Rae would classify herself as a realist, that is the glass is neither half full not half empty it simply contains 50% of its volume in water, however, she does prefer to look for a silver lining so she can have something to hope in.
How does Character believe she is perceived by others? Rae is a classic tomboy, and just as good as the boys when it comes to soldiering and living off the land. She is very dependable if given a task but doesn't like to be in a leadership role herself. She's also quick to act when needed.
How self-confident is the character? With the armor off or on? As a soldier and scout Rae is completely confident in her ability to do her duty and protect her comrades. However, because she was raised to be the son her father never had, once she's in a social situation where she's expected to act like a lady, Rae starts second guessing everything she does.
Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof? Rae can be completely logical when the occasion calls for it, but generally speaking she is far more likely to be ruled by her heart.

Emotional Characteristics
Strengths/Weaknesses?
When it comes to battle Rae is perfectly capable of turning off the emotional switch, but in everyday tense situations she may just have to sneak off for a moment alone before she blows her top. Rae also thinks she's just as good as the boys when it comes to most things, or if she's not she thinks she can at least keep up. She also fears someone will learn she's actually branded and tries to avoid situations where the brand might be seen (it's on her back)
What does the character want out of life? She wants her father to be proud of her and to someday be accepted for who she is and not what.
What would the character like to change in his/her life? It'd be nice if she had a brother, as much as she hates to admit it she's not really cut out to be the man of the family.
What motivates this character? She does what needs to be done.

Class: Healer

Physical Characteristics:
General Appearance:
Height:
5'4"

Hair Color: Black
Skin color: fair
Habits: Hums while she works, has a bit of string she plays with when she's nervous.
Hobbies: Knitting, cooking, enjoys simple children's games like tag or go fish

Best quality: She's very agile and can fit into small spaces.

Personality Characteristics
What is your character's general personality? Quiet and compassionate she'll help anybody in need regardless of race or affiliation. Don't push her into a corner though, because then the claws will come out. When she has an opinion she'll state it, but she is very rarely the first to speak.
How does Character see herself? A healer first, and woman second
How does Character believe she is perceived by others? a shy but warmhearted individual with a skill for healing.
How self-confident is the character? About average. She has her doubts, but she can hold her own when needed.
Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof? a balance of both

Emotional Characteristics

Sari knows how to "man up" and get the job done, but she can also be very sensitive to what's going on around her. If there's too much tension in the air she may even start to cry and be completely unashamed about it.
What does the character want out of life? She wants to be able to set up a little apothecary shop where anyone can come to buy medicine or be healed.
What would the character like to change in his/her life? She wishes the inhabitants of the world could get along better so she could do her job without being ridiculed by the opposing side.
What motivates this character? compassion

Basic Statistics

Name: Aurieus

Age: 35

Race: Mandakete

Talents/Skills: If it wasn't blatantly clear, his skills consist mostly of combative endeavors. Such as extraordinary skill with a spear or lance—that being typically be a favored weapon. He can also use a sword. Both weapons, however he can use with a shield, or on horseback with uncanny resolve. He is also a danger in hand to hand confrontations—if simply for his strength alone. Aurieus being a Calvalier class is adept at mount horses quickly, and battle on the back of the steed.

Class: Cavalier

Physical Characteristics: (Please, excuse the more...technological attachments and the skulls. Though they do look cool, he's not a Barabarian. Its hardly suited for his class I think.)

General Appearance: Clad in armor that looks as terrifying as it actually is; the steel and metal seeming to encompass the atmosphere of smoldering ruins. That is to say, the metal carries a distinctive black sheen coating, reminiscent of polished obsidian. His body beneath it looks about as solid as his armor does—if not more. But the added muscle doesn't slow him, as much as lets him endure punishing attacks or run longer and farther than most could.

Though, beneath the 'shell' of steel, this being is a Mandakete. Though the signature blood red hair isn't visible—he is probably in every sense of the word 'exception'. Though, when he removes his startling helm, the pieces begin to fall together. Red hair cut very short, eyes like socketed rubies glimmering when the light casts over them. He has a strong and noble face like any 'Mandakete' should bear. Though, through being in many conflicts—his service has not been kind and so he bears several, elongated scars over his face. Almost like some huge animal had swiped him.

He has broad shoulders, and is barrel chested as any man could be. Again, scars litter his frame; from shoulders to his stomach, down to his feet where perhaps the most 'mundane' injuries have occurred. He doesn't have facial hair, or none to be seen anyways. His cheek bones are risen and his jaw wide. His arms and legs are lean; taut with muscle that is evident rather he wears armor or he doesn't.

Height: 6ft 8in

Weight: Very well built

Eye Color: Ruby colored

Hair Color: Red

Skin color: Caucasian colored, though somewhat tanned.

Habits: He has no qualms about walking around in the buff, finding it a perfectly natural thing. He also has a tendency to take on challenges he deems worthy of completion. Usually, these follow combative natures such as deliberately handicapping himself.

Hobbies: Surprisingly, there are a handful of things this man can do besides fight, and do well. That is one among them is knowing horses.

Greatest flaw: Gets pulled into confrontations easily. Sometimes, this doesn't even have to be his fault at all. Other warriors see a big, broad target and they sometimes pick a fight with him. He also can't read, or barter. He can speak coherently—he just can't read.

Best quality: Adaptability. This doesn't always relate to the other A word—Accountability.

Personality Characteristics

What is your character's general personality? Stern, calm—extremely confident but not at all cocky. He is a very proud man, and that pride can be a double edged sword at times lulling him into a fight. That said, he care wholeheartedly for his race that is slowly diminishing. Though not entirely friendly with outside groups, he will cooperate with them from time to time.

How does Character see himself/herself? A proud member of a dying race.

How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others? A big scary guy? A big scary guy who can ride a horse or use a spear?

How self-confident is the character? Very.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof? Surprisingly, Aurieus is ruled more by 'logic' than emotion. Though if you insult the Manakete race you're going to find just how 'emotional' he can get.

Emotional Characteristics

Strengths/Weaknesses? His strength is his determination. But that can also be a double-edged sword, when you are so determined you lose focus of your true objective. Also to be considered, is his pride.

What does the character want out of life? To instill a legacy worthy of his bloodline and race.

What would the character like to change in his/her life? He wishes he could change the more…obvious faults about himself. Like being unable to read or write.

What motivates this character? The fact that the Mandakete are fading. He is very proud of his race, no matter whom or where they are—unless they do things that tarnish a bloodline he sees as more worthy than royalty.

Name: Ni'assus Vaphs
Age: 17
Race: Beorc
Talents/Skills:

* I Shall Be Without Equal!: Ni'assus is a young man plagued with an excessive amount of natural talent, and an excessive lack of trained skill. Although he has potential to be an extremely powerful swordsman, he is, in fact, a far way from it.

Class: Villager (Sword)

Physical Characteristics:

Height: 5'8

Weight: Very Lean

Eye Color: Brown

Hair Color: Brown

Skin color: Pale

Habits: Collects Swords, continually exercises and practices when he is not in battle.

Hobbies: Whittling, Flute-playing, Exercise.

Greatest flaw:

* "I Shall Be Without Equal!": The only thing more insufferable than a young swordsman is a young swordsman that thinks he is destined for greatness. Ni'assus is arrogant and proud to a fault.

Best quality:

* Never Give Up: Even when beaten down and humbled, Ni'assus simply picks himself right back up and gets back to work, regardless of how badly he was beaten.

Personality Characteristics

(Just answer these simply.)
What is your character's general personality?

Ni'assus' personality is mostly driven by simple facts about himself. He is a swordsman. He's fast. He believes himself destined to be the greatest swordsman the world has ever seen. And he isn't afraid to state these facts. Haughty and arrogant to a fault, his passion for what he does is only matched by his sheer recklessness in pursuit of his goals.

How does Character see himself/herself?

Ni'assus sees himself as a destined hero, to be simple. He sees himself as a paragon of skill and talent, even if he is somewhat lacking in the former.

How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others?

Ni'assus, admittedly, doesn't care too much about what others actually think. When he does care, he usually thinks they think highly of him.

How self-confident is the character?

How blue is the sky on a clear summer day? How white is pure snow? He is ridiculously self-confident, to the point of arrogance.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof?

Ni'assus is excessively impulsive. Most, if not all, of his decisions are ruled more by his base urges more than him actually thinking about it.

Emotional Characteristics

Strengths/Weaknesses?

- Strengths:
* Extremely Strong-Willed
* Unbothered By Trauma

- Weaknesses:
* Extremely Stubborn
* Insensitive Towards Others

What does the character want out of life?

The answer to that question is, actually, very simple. He wants to be the very best, like no one ever was. His entire life's goal is driven by his desire to be the best swordsman in the world, and he has little room for anything else. Maybe, once he achieves that goal, he'll find something else to occupy his time?

What would the character like to change in his/her life?

Ironically, for one who wants such a high goal in life, Ni'assus is actually quite content with the path he is taking. With every victory comes an affirmation of his skill, and every defeat teaches him more and more about how to win next time. There is very little he seeks to change.

What motivates this character?

What motivates him is, again, quite simple. He wishes to be the best swordsman in the world.

Name:Remus

Age: 22

Race: Beorc

Talents/Skills: Strategist, swordplay, Psychology and the study of human behavior—though this even could extend to the changelings. Hand to hand. Flexibility.

Class: Prince(Frelia)

Physical Characteristics:

(In battle)

swordsman2.jpg
In Frelia
Alucard_002.jpg
General Appearance: Perhaps one of the most notable things physically about him is his silvery white hair. Most Beorcs don't have grey hair so early in their lives. It's almost a status symbol of their own longevity. Needless to say, some have found this a remarkable trait to say the least. Even if they may be divided on what it may mean. Is he actually older than he says he is? Or is the term "old soul" merely presenting itself physically?

He is notably athletic. His body is one wiry, lean corded 'muscle' almost. Standing at five feet-eleven inches, he certainly isn't the tallest one in the room and has been ridiculed and harassed for such an embarrassing trait for a "prince". However, more often than not he's used the height to his advantage. In many ways he moves almost like a serpent; tensing his muscles, or shifting his body like a snake coiling around its prey.

Not the strongest or the fastest, but he is strong for his size and due to his short stature it makes him adroit and quick on his feet. Being able to counter or parry or just outright evade. His eyes are another very rare trait exhibited in Beorcs: a deep blue-purple hue. Many are just entranced with a single glance, but prolonged stares have occurred. It's not so much 'ability', as it is like one would stare into the bluish-purple sea of the cosmos. It's the rarity of the sight combined with just how beautiful his eyes are. Set against the stark color of his pallid skin, they really set themselves apart.

Height: 5'11

Weight: 160lbs (Lean, muscular)

Eye Color: Deep bluish purple

Hair Color: Silvery white

Skin color: Pale

Habits: Has to have tea at a certain time of day. It can't be later and can't be earlier.

Hobbies: Chess, Psychology, trying to understand the mind. Not just of Beorcs, but all sentient life.

Greatest flaw: He is extremely intelligent for his age. And his understanding of human behavior right down to their choices—is uncanny. Nevertheless, he can be haughty, cruel and very cold. Once he's made up his mind, rarely does ever go back.

Best quality: Always places the 'people' first, never himself. He's generous; he can be kind and compassionate.

Personality Characteristics
What is your character's general personality? He's entirely a man of discourse. Everything he does, he does for his homeland. When something threatens to overtake it, one can be sure he's usually right there in the face of the threat. When he has to choose the 'lesser' of two evils/ the needs of the man outweighing the needs of the few—he makes the tougher decision, but often contemplates if there were other ways of going about it so that it wouldn't hurt his people so much.

He is very much a Machiavellian. He carries a duplicitous mask with him at all times. He knows, and understands how the heads of state work and think—and scheme. He's honest enough to tell one upfront, that he's honest about being dishonest, and that's the honest thing about it. Never a man to avoid getting his hands 'dirty' in politics he's assassinated several others and survived many attempts on his own life either by out fighting or out thinking his opponent. However, in public view he is charismatic behind closed doors he's a pragmatic man. If you give him an answer he doesn't like, you're more likely to find his answer even more troubling. Never one for public spectacles, he actually prefers secretive means of doing things though, if you give the man a sword—he will use it.

When the dust settles, he will bleed for his homeland and he will die for it if necessary. His exacting, methodical means will ensure any enemy will pay a very steep price for his transgressions. As cold as the ice that forms in Frelia, he's nonetheless 'pliant' like the snow and able to mold himself to the occasion the very best he can.

How does Character see himself/herself? As an expendable tool to be used correctly, then, if the problem no longer exists—forgotten about.

How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others? Cynical. Having an innate quality that lets him sees people and understand them—it really puts an edge on his view of things. As the more he 'sees' the less he likes. In a letter sent to the perpetrator of his own assassination he wrote: "Whoever desires to found a state and give it laws, must start with assuming that all men are bad and ever ready to display their vicious nature." The perpetrator was never seen again.

How self-confident is the character? He's very confident. He feels he has to be.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof? Strictly logic. He feels heads of state such as himself have no room for emotion. It's not a luxury they can afford and that's why he envies the poor and down trodden.

Emotional Characteristics
Strengths/Weaknesses? His strength would be he doesn't hesitate to make the 'right' choice. His weakness is his lack of empathy. He sees, he doesn't 'understand'.

What does the character want out of life? To simply safeguard Frelia even if that means twisting himself, or doing things seen as amoral or unmoral.

What would the character like to change in his/her life? He would honestly see peace.

What motivates this character? Frelia. His people.

Name: Miruru
Age of Appearance: 12
Actual Age: 77
Race: Laguz
Talents/Skills: She can jump really high (even in human form), climb rather well, and run faster than most Laguz despite her tiny legs.
Class: Taguel

Physical Characteristics:

General Appearance:
Miruru's features are more rounded than most of her brethren. Her tail is a cottony ball, and her ears are always upright and perky. Like other Tagul, she wears light armor on her upper body that can shift to fit her even when in rabbit form. Her armor is purple, a common color for female Taguel armor. Her armor also includes leg guards. Patches of fur can be found on her neck, shoulders, wrists, and most prominently between her legs and stomach (like a fur bikini).
Miruru_zpsc3437d3c.jpg
Vel1.jpg

Height: 5'0"
Weight: Petite
Eye Color: She claims they are purple, but everyone else says they are pink
Hair Color: Light Orange
Skin color: An odd ashen light pink.
Habits: She has a habit of twitching her ears when she's annoyed and her tail when she's happy.
Hobbies: Napping and racing other Laguz

Greatest flaw:

-Mentally - Miruru is racist. He hates the Beorc for looking down on her race, but she is guilty of the same exact thing.
-Physically - Miruru's short stature makes it difficult for her to fight heavily armored opponents.

Best quality:

-Mentally - Earn her respect (or have a boat-load of carrots) and she will follow you to the ends of Aurelis and back.
-Physically - Her speed, her heightened hearing, and her ability to fit into small spaces

Personality Characteristics

What is your character's general personality?
Miruru is prideful, racist, and stuck up. She works for herself, the Taguel, carrots, and not much else. Her respect is difficult to earn, and she isn't afraid to let people know that she doesn't like them. Unlike some of her more skittish brethren, Mirurur isn't daunted by much, or at least she tries to let on that she isn't scared. She is by no means bright, but she isn't necessarily dumb either. She just has a tendency not to think before she acts or speaks.

How does Character see himself/herself?
Miruru hates herself. Not her personality, that's perfect. No, she hates the way she looks. Unlike most of the other Taguel, Miruru is petite, without a single ounce of intimidation in her body. It doesn't help that her ears and tail are so round. She wishes she had the body of a fierce Taguel warrior.

How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others?
Miruru wants to believe that others find her rude and unapproachable. However, she worries that others find her adorable and innocent, two things she believes she is far from.

How self-confident is the character?
Miruru is confident in herself, even when she shouldn't be. She believes that as a Taguel, she should be unstoppable.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof?
Miruru is ruled by emotion, but these emotions are aimed at herself and her interests, nothing else. She has little compassion for those who don't have her respect, and close to none for Beorc in general.

Emotional Characteristics

Strengths/Weaknesses?
Strengths:
-Miruru isn't swayed much by the troubles of strangers, making her a reliable soldier.
-Her list of fears are very small, meaning chances of her bailing on someone are slim.
Weaknesses:
-Miruru will do anything for a carrot. She is literally obsessed with carrots.
-Her hatred for Beorc makes it difficult to convince her to leave Beorc alive, and it is near impossible to convince her to work with Beorc, even if they are considered "good".

What does the character want out of life?
Miruru wants to become a strong Taguel warrior so she can drive the Beorc from Aurelis.

What would the character like to change in his/her life?

Miruru would like to change the fact that Beorc even exist, and she would want to change her appearance to a more formidable Taguel form.

What motivates this character?

Physically, Miruru is motivated by carrots. Mentally, she strives to eradicate the Beorc and return Aurelis to its 'golden age'.

Height: 5'4"
Weight: Slender
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Lime Green
Skin color: Light Peach
Habits: Adelaide has a bad habit of playing with her skirt when nervous. She also will always hold her pinky out when drinking, no matter what cup or container it comes in.
Hobbies: Adelaide likes to ride horses in her spare time and attend social events, specifically balls. She loves to dance.

Greatest flaw:
-Mental - Adelaide is a traditionalist. Anything or anyone that doesn't follow tradition bothers her, to the point where she will ridicule said thing/person relentlessly.
-Physical - Adelaide doesn't have much strength due to lack of training.

Best quality:
-Mental - If nothing else, Adelaide is decisive. While others might mull over a situation, Adelaide is quick to decide what she thinks is best and will declare it, no matter how unpopular the decision might be.
-Physical - What Adelaide lacks in strength, she makes up for in skill. She has a great amount of accuracy and has a knack for finding enemy weaknesses.

Personality Characteristics

What is your character's general personality?
Adelaide strives to be a traditional princess, in both her appearance and her personality. She is kind, humble, and holds herself like a proper lady. As a traditional princess would, Adelaide tries to be soft-spoken and let others make decisions, especially men. However, she despises indecisiveness, and finds herself taking the lead when no one else will make a choice. She has certain motherly tendencies, the kind that cause her to scold someone younger than her if they are doing something they shouldn't. Adelaide has a hard time interacting with women who don't act like proper ladies, even though she can interact just fine with men in general.

How does Character see himself/herself?
Adelaide sees herself as a proper lady, and therefore a proper princess.

How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others?

She believes people see her as uptight and strict with rules and traditions. Though this is true, she worries that this makes people think she can't have fun.

How self-confident is the character?
Adelaide is confident in any situation where she needs to act like a lady. She isn't very confident in her lancing skills, but she does believe in her tactics.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof?
Despite some of her motherly tendencies, Adelaide is ruled almost entirely by logic. Her decisions can be cruel at times, but it is because she believes it will be for the greater good. She is a bit emotional when it comes to her own desires though.

Emotional Characteristics

Strengths/Weaknesses?
Strengths:

-Trust doesn't have much meaning for Adelaide. If a person can help, regardless of their background or personality, she will accept it. This doesn't mean she is trusting, but more like she is neutral on her opinions about people.
-Adelaide is solid in her beliefs, which is what makes it so easy for her to make a decision. She is logical though, so if an idea sounds beneficial, despite going against her beliefs, she will go along with it.
Weaknesses:
-Adelaide has no experience on the battlefield and is actually quite fearful of battle. She will get woozy if there is too much blood.
-Adelaide actually fears the laguz more than hates them. She has seen the horrific wounds they have inflicted on the soldiers and dreads what they might do to her if she were to encounter one on her own.
What does the character want out of life?
Adelaide wants to go down in history as the perfect princess.

What would the character like to change in his/her life?

Adelaide wishes she didn't have to join the battlefield.

What motivates this character?
Adelaide is motivated by her desire to go down in history, specifically as a perfect princess.

Basic Statistics

Name:
Osiel
Appearance of Age: 29
Actual Age:192
Race: Laguz
Talents/Skills: No one can argue that Osiel's voice is radiant. His songs have the power to lift one's spirits or dash them to the ground. He is also well versed in the Ancient Tongue. Being a Heron, Osiel has the ability to read people's thoughts. However, due to the negative energy the war creates, this ability has been severely weakened. As long as the war continues, Osiel will only ever be able to read people's inner emotions at best.
Class: Heron

Physical Characteristics:

General Appearance:

HeronGreeneyes_zps44df4e54.jpg

Height: 5'6"
Weight: Lean, bordering on scrawny
Eye Color: Forest Green
Hair Color: Golden Blonde
Skin color: Light Pink
Habits: He has a habit of singing lullabies to anyone younger than him, especially those that look like children.
Hobbies: Creating new Galdr.

Greatest flaw:

-Mentally - Osiel will usually go along with other people's ideas , even if he doesn't believe in it. He has an 'I'm merely an observer' mentality.
-Physically - Osiel couldn't hurt a fly, at least physically. His body just wasn't made to fight, so don't expect him to hold his own during a battle.

Best quality:

-Mentally - Osiel has gained a great amount of wisdom throughout his years and is a good person to go to for advice.
-Physically - Osiel's voice is his pride and joy. Though leagues weaker than when he sings his Galdr, Osiel's voice still holds power even when he is merely speaking. When calm, his voice can relax his comrades, when enraged, it can strike fear in even the most courageous of people.

Personality Characteristics

What is your character's general personality?

Osiel is normally a calm, wise man, a common trait amongst his white-winged brethren. However, after living many years with his wife, a crow laguz, Osiel has adopted a few harsher traits. Do to the mistreating of his wife to the hands of a Beorc nobleman, Osiel has a grudge against the Beorc. Though he desires peace, he would be perfectly content if that peace came at the cost of the complete annihilation of the Beorc. That is not to say he despises all Beorc, they simply don't have his full support or trust until they earn it. In general, Osiel is a very fatherly to those younger than him. This stems from his desire to have a child of his own. However, due to the trauma his wife endured, she is reluctant to let any man, even her own husband, bond with her. Osiel understands this and strives to remain cheerful, for his wife's sake.

How does Character see himself/herself?
Osiel sees himself as a normal Laguz. There is nothing truly special about him, and he's glad for that. He likes to imagine himself as a father figure to any who are younger than he.

How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others?
Osiel believes others see him as a regular man who likes to sing a lot.

How self-confident is the character?
Osiel is confident in the power of his voice and his wisdom. There isn't a sliver of confidence when it comes to physical endeavors though.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof?
Osiel is governed by his emotions, as well as other people's emotions based on who he's reading and how strong their emotions are.

Emotional Characteristics
Strengths/Weaknesses?

Strengths:
-Osiel has experienced many things during his countless years of existance. Little surprises him anymore.
Weaknesses:
-Osiel can easily be swayed by the emotions of another if the person's emotions are strong enough or if Osiel has a strong bond with the person.

What does the character want out of life?
Osiel wants the world to be at peace for two reasons. One, he wants his wife to be happy and for any child he brings into the world to be safe. The other reason is so that the negative energy the war creates will disappear so he can experience the true power the Heron race possesses.

What would the character like to change in his/her life?
If Osiel had his way, he would have had a child ages ago.

What motivates this character?
To protect his loved ones, and his loved ones to be.

What Would The Character Like To Change In Her Life?

She's very idealistic, and wants a world where everybody is free to do as they will, so long as they don't infringe on the rights of other people. She doesn't care about the races, or the societal levels. Everybody is the same to her, unless they prove themselves otherwise. Overall, she's just tired of the war, and wants to do her part to bring it to a peaceful resolution.

- Orin is normally quiet and stern. He may come off as off-putting and cold-hearted, but it is all because of his past. He will be the first to help anyone as long as his price is paid. He is calm and can always be counted on if he is on your side. If he is on your side, you have a very loyal and trusted warrior... just be afraid if you're fighting against him.
How does Character see himself/herself?
- Orin sees himself as a strong and independent young man... well... in Branded terms.
How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others?
- Orin believes that others see him exactly as he sees himself: strong, independent but willing to help at the right price.
How self-confident is the character?
- Orin is very self-confident in his abilities, but not so much that he will jump headfirst into a scrape without any prior planning or anything, whether it be a fight or just a situation, that he can't get out of without harming himself in the slightest bit.
Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof?
- Orin is primarily ruled by logic in all that he does, always thinking through many of the possibilities before he does anything. These views are tried, however, when the matters involve his family. With which he barely thinks anything through at all before he jumps in and does all that he is possibly able to do, no matter how he feels physically.

Emotional Characteristics

Strengths:
- Orin is quite strong and is more than capable of taking on a small, insignificant group of brigands or a couple (Meaning 1-2, MAYBE 3 on a good day).
- He is quite quick and agile on his feet, not getting hit a whole lot, but it still does happen. It does to the best of us.
- He has great endurance. The fact that he is able to wear such armor that he does, which is a memento of his father, is because of this endurance. What he did was he put on the armor one piece at a time. Legs then arms and so on. Doing so, he strengthened parts of his body one at a time, rather than all at once to make him practically useless.
- He is quite adept at taking on brigands, making him an invaluable resource when they are fought. He has fought many, many groups of brigands, so he is good at fighting against axe-men and archers, they being some of the main members of the groups.
Weaknesses:
- He may be adept at fighting brigands, but he does have a tendency to not take them seriously, often resulting in moderate to serious injury on himself.
- He has a habit of putting himself in the middle of a fray and getting quite hurt himself as he takes down almost everything.
- He has a tendency to be incredibly impatient and he will often charge into brigand fights without listening to reason barely, if at all.
- He doesn't work well with people, so even if you get him to work with you, he doesn't stay by the main group of people generally.
What does the character want out of life?
- Orin wants to avenge his family and the rest of his friends. All were killed in the middle of a turf-war between his little group of nomads of sorts and the best of the groups of brigands. There was a spy on the inside of Orin's group and they were surprise attacked and were all quickly wiped out, except for Orin who managed to escape and promised to avenge them all.
What would the character like to change in his/her life?
- If Orin were to change anything, it would be the day in his past when everyone was killed. There isn't a single thing in his current life that he would change.
What motivates this character?
- The drive to avenge his mother and father and fallen comrades motivates Orin to go on and search all of Jehanna and find the group that assassinated his family and friends, no matter the cost and no matter how long it takes. The idea of money motivates him to work with others. He will do anything and fight for anyone, with the exception of brigands (Unless paid greatly), as long as he is paid. His prices may be dicey, and he rarely changes his prices at all, he chooses one and sticks to it, but hey. He has to make enough to provide for himself and the cost seems actually worth it with his skills.
