As the title might suggest, the idea for this game will be the Final Fantasy worlds fighting the Tales worlds. Two similar franchises, an extensive fandom behind them, a library of unique worlds and characters to use, and of course, enough stilted acting to make Kevin Costner blush.
I kid with that last one, but it's not simply two series fighting each other. Each world within their separate universes are opening, and as you might expect, no one has a clue what's going on. All they know is people and monsters are coming out of portals and attacking their worlds.
The goal of the game is different depending on who you play, as you can use canon characters, OCs, and even the villains from each game of your choosing, as the objectives can be massively different from who you play as and where they're from. Alliances shift and change, each kingdom and country are trying to figure out what's going on, chaos is all around, IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!!!..... But I feel fine~
That's the idea, and more details will surely be developed as time goes on. Hopefully you find an interest in this.
