Fearing Feathers
A storm is casting a shadow over the continent of Salacus.
From the Elven forest of Elineshire,
the Nomadic Orc tribes of the Burning Sands,
and even the stout Dwarven Nation hidden away in their Golden-Forge Mountains.
but none are as casted into the shadows like the Human nation of Sarok,

A majority human country, their rolling plains, wheat farms, and lumber mills are slowly being corrupted by a man they call The Prophet of the Raven. An army of the dead resides in his hand, its influence stretching across the land, spreading plague and unrest in its wake. The king of Sarok, Lord Issi Tredel, has sent multiple battalions of his army to deal with the threat, and each were defeated, the dead joining the prophets army.

In a desperate attempt to spare the remainder of his army, he ordered the Church of the Hawk to send out carrier birds across the land, calling upon heroes to come to the nations aid. He promises riches, blessings, land, and for those of a more criminal background, amnesty in his lands.

Will brave heroes answer the call, or will Salacus fall victim to the Raven?

**Note: No mater how bad the map looks, please try not too hate on it too much. I have little experience with map making and know it isn't a masterpiece.**

Sarok
[spoili]
A majority human nation, Sarok is ran by King Tredel, and his three close advisers. Noble Houses also make up sections of government that answer to the king. A civil war is brewing due to many thing the church as corrupt, and the military not protecting them from Orcish Raids from the north, and roaming monsters.
The Scar was once apart of the nation of Sarok, but as the Prophet of the Raven quickly corrupted the area, many towns and villages fell victim to his undead hordes. The most
prominent town was North Kel, a mining city, and South Kel a sister-city of merchants.
Ashfall
Once known as Ashwood, a dragon named Vytio burned the city to the ground over night. Ash-Fall was built on the same grounds. It is known for its Ash-Tree lumber industry, and is the countries richest town.

DragonFall
Vytio continued his rampage to Whiteridge, where he was finally slayed, giving its new name "DragonFall".

The Elineshire Forest
[spoili]
The vast forest of Elineshire holds the mystery of the Elves. While most of the towns are hidden throughout the forest, the Elves protect the entirety of it, watching from the brush or up in the canopy. At a maturing age, Elves are too be put into one of three families.
While the vast majority of Elves are close too nature, the Mapleblood family takes it a step further. The Maplebloods get their name from a Druid that protected the Elineshire Forest years ago,Drelthus Mapleblood, who fused the sap of a Mapletree into his veins. While the majority of Maplebloods are High Elves, a few "bastards" have been seen throughout the years, though they were often not as respected as other Elves. The Maplebloods have a natural advantage with plant magics, often shaping entire sections of forests into towns. While the majority of Maplebloods prefer to stay away from direct battle, if a force threats to destroy the forest, a Mapleblood Preserver may be sent to stop them. The strongest of Maplebloods are granted this title, and are extremely dangerous in the art of nature magic, often turning trees into hulking monsters, grass into strangling ropes, or the very ground into sink whole capable of burying armies.
While the Maplebloods focus on plants and nature magic, the Peltweavers focus on the taming and harnessing the power of animalistic magic. Each Peltweaver, as they approach the age of maturing, is expected to find their spirit animal, and tame it. They often bond with their animals and are said to be able to speak with the animal. Those that accomplish a perfect bond with their chosen animal are placed into special groups, their tasks ranging from diplomats and scouts, to assassins and small raiding parties.
The most powerful Peltweavers are rumored to be able to change their shape and become a hybrid of Elf and beast. Its thought those are simple legends.
Excluding the Elves love and understanding of nature, their next defining feature would be their speed and agility, and thus that is what the Silverwood Elves excel in. Masters of blade and bow, the Silverwood Elves are the back bone of the Elven military. Using guerrilla tactics and using strategy rather than brute force make them a deadly force. Their wooden armor enhanced with Elven magic allows them to remain agile while retaining a good defense.
The most skilled force of warriors, made up of only twelve warriors, are known as the Steelroot. Master tacticians and trained in nearly every weapon art make these twelve as deadly as any Sarokin army.

The Golden-Forge Mountains
[spoili]The extensive mountain range is filled with tunnels, towns, and expansive citadels of the Dwarven Empire. While they mostly keep to themselves in affairs, they do trade heavily with the nation of Sarok, their closest ally. The Empire is ran by twelve clans, the most prominent three being the Rubyfist, Ironeater, and Wyrmslayer
It was also once home for the Ratoaken, a race of Rat-People once thought to be monsters. While all known cities were destroyed, their ruins are still apart of the mountain system.[/spoili]

The Burning Sand Desert and the Badlands
[spoili] Home to the Orcs, the harsh environment isn't for the faint of heart. Made up of many warring tribes and various clans, the heat is the least of a travelers worries. The most dominant clan is the Grim clan, composed of two tribes, the Grim-Dosh and the Grim-Desh. Both warlords that rule the tribes seek to unite all the Orc tribes under one banner and march on Sarok. Among those are also friendly tribes, many of them however were driven from their desert homes, and find shelter in Sarok.
The area between the Golden-Forge Mountains and the Burning Sands is known simple as the Badlands. Home too only one Orcish Clan, the S'Kelt, they worship a dragon that lives there. It is thought this tribe is the strongest of all the Orcish Tribes, and even the Grim Clan fears them. [/spoili]

Dod-Gan and the Grasslands
[spoili]Dod-Gan is the snow covered land to the West of Salacus. Home to nothing but barbarians and monsters, it is a barren land too dangerous to explore or colonize.
The Grasslands North of Elineshire are just that, barren land of roaming creatures and a friendly tribe of Orcs, the Horse-Pelt. The Horse-Pelt tribe has close ties to the Elves, and a dislike for Dwarves. It also holds the ruins of Fei'Let'Da, a major Ratoaken city destroyed by Dwarves, Humans, and Elves in the Early Period.[/spoili]
