With the end of the year well upon us all. I was curious of the following question; what was your favourite rp character of the year?

In particular, which rp character was your favourite to write! Any special reason or something they did in an rp?

Give me the deets! I wish to know!!

You want me to pick just one? That's absurd. Especially because I already suck at picking a favourite anything. I was going to cheat, and list several, but I discounted a few who, while very fun, I only got to post for two or three times, which narrowed it down to two. From those two, I picked the one I think I had slightly more fun writing.

I'm picking Lenore, from my roleplay Petrichor and Smoke with @PavellumPendulum
He's an archetype of character I quite like — an arrogant, unflappable, show-off who never gets hung up on feelings, to the point where you could doubt the existence of them. Never getting attached, never caring. However, he is played off of his exception. The one person he does care about — a lot. The one person he thinks is actually better than him (even if that isn't something he'd admit). He also starts the roleplay in a particularly vulnerable state, both physically and mentally, and it's fun to play such a self-assured character fighting his need to be aloof and his cravings for affection and closeness. Of course, he wouldn't be nearly as fun to play if I wasn't playing him against such a fun character — written by such a great writer. Overall, he's been a delight to write, and I look forward to continuing to play him in 2025.

You know who I'm bringing to the table, Manna. Only got to flesh out one character, it's frickin' Cereza the witch from "calligraphy only turns people into witches.".

Maybe Dimos? He's a Greek warrior/olive farmer/playboy that got way too frisky with someone's daughter and got tossed into a minotaur's labyrinth to get rid of him XD

I have Braye who is a totally dopey farmer and wanna be adventure to follow in his father's footsteps!

I've got an idiot demon named Rave (who definitely excels at rave parties) that summoned a human down to hell.

There's a low end angel named Luther trying to earn his wings and just being genuinely terrible at it by lying to his gods instead

Or a really grumpy detective that hates people and cheer and children... so naturally gets a case at the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH, DIDNEY WORL

Mine has to be my baby Duncan! He's new so not much on him as of right now but he's so fun so far amd so versatile! My silly goofy man xD

Honestly? For me? It's an easy pick for sure. I'm going to have to go with my boy Dexter Valentine. At first glance, he's your typical bratty twink that wants nothing more than to get dicked down. But once you get past his exterior? He's a troubled lad that wants nothing more than to be more than his past... but honestly? That's easier said than done.... I love my sweet boy a lot and he's been a blast writing him.

my favorite character to play this year has absolutely been henrietta jekyll; shes a smarmy pain the ass whose trying, reluctantly, to be a better person. she tends to have some of the funniest lines and scenes, in part due to her emotional immaturity and in part due to her incurable attitude problem
