Why, Hello there~
Okay, so for those who haven't already figured the title out, this is an interest check for a possible roleplay involving the anime "Fate" Series involving the main piece of the stories within the different parts of the series, the Holy Grail war. Holy Grail wars are always fun and all, and it's fantastic to always see what people come up with for characters, but it's even more interesting to see what they come up with as those characters' heroic spirits! Now for anyone who has seen any of the several Fate's in question, the rules are very simple.
"The Holy Grail War (聖杯戦争, Seihai Sensō?) is a competition that decides the ownership of the Holy Grail through intense battle royale. While there have been many conflicts over supposed Holy Grails in the past, this term refers to those specifically based around Masters, usually proficient magi, summoning Servants, Heroic Spirits brought forth as familiars, and meeting in battle until only one pair is left to claim the Holy Grail."
Now here's where things get tricky (and mostly cool). Holy grail wars are great fun in RP, but while choosing a heroic spirit of the past is a fun, and very creative process for some, I felt it would be interesting if we added more than just heroic spirits of the past present and future. Why not expand the rules a little bit for a Holy Grail war unlike anything you've ever seen?
Yes, that's right. Heroic spirits from other universes! Love Fairy Tail? Why not have Natsu as your Caster? Fall in love with the original dark Lord himself? Have Darth Vader as your Saber class! Need that gritty badass in your life? How about the original badass gunslinger Doc Holliday himself?

You get the idea right? I sure hope so! I want this to be as fun an experience for everyone involved, and think I've explained the best I can, but for further clarification if you need it, or are just curious, there's a link HERE, and on the Holy Grail war explanation in the second paragraph! Have more questions you need answered?Feel free to message me on site, or post here.
The Setup:
So now that you've been informed of the idea, here's how it'll work. You'll submit your character, and their selected spirit with a character profile sheet below this post. Here's the Template (Be sure to fill all the fields in the template, but feel free to add more if you want!):
Name: (EX: Seth Thomas Schor)
Age: (EX: 23)
Gender: Male, or Female?
Physical description (Includes Outfit): Height, Eye color, Hair color, Hair style, Rough Body build desc. and anything else you may want to add
Mage type: Are you a Necromancer? Pyromancer? Alchemist? Etc.
Skills: Within the magic you've chosen, what sort of spells, charms, magic circles, etc. can they use?
Gear: What sort of helpful tools are you carrying on you? D]Is your character less focused on magic, and like weapons more, but uses magic to assist them? Do you solely use magical energy blasts and the like to achieve your goal?
Family Blood Line: Y/N
> If Yes: Blood lines last family name, and brief history
> If No: Skip, and move to Backstory
Backstory:
Spirit Class: Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Assassin, Berserker, or Caster?
Name:
Universe: Is it still a spirit of the fate universe? If so Past, present, or future? If not, then is it a spirit from a TV Show, Movie, Manga, Anime, Book, Comic Book, etc?
Age:
Gender:
Skills:
Gear:
Noble Phantasm:
Backstory:
Now Spirits of choice must be within reason. There's nothing wrong with choosing for tactical advantage. That's how the game is played after all! However, there's always such a thing as too much. Don't think you're gonna choose Super man, or Goku, and come in just wrecking everyone because of their powers. When judging profiles, I will take into account along with my other chosen self proclaimed RP Mods as to if you have given fair balance for the character you wish for your spirit in question. Have fun with it by all means, but were all here to have fun, and enjoy the Story that unfolds, and especially the battles that partake! So keep it within reason!
That said, your character needs to fall under a certain class. There are 7 Classes to fall under, and each is unique.

Saber - Wields a sword of some form
Archer - Shoots a projectile of some form (within reason)
Lancer - Wields a Lance
Rider - Rides things with any form of weapon
Assassin - Stealthy, and or very tactical in combat
Berserker - Tanky. Usually filled with some form of stubbornness, or rage
Caster - A spirit capable of magic use

So for example:
Say I were to choose Vader.
Now there are only 6 slots, as I myself will also be partaking of course, but if enough interest is drawn, that number may jump to 13 to make a Greater Holy Grail war composed of two teams!
Noble Phantasms:
To keep things short, Noble phantasms are meant to be (usually singular) special abilities with special cooldowns, particulate rules, and regulations that have something to do with the nature of the spirit you summon, and their past/story in history/major event they had to do with/what makes them a heroic spirit. Or as the show puts it:

"Noble Phantasms (宝具ノウブル・ファンタズム, HōguNouburu Fantazumu?, Precious Tools) are "crystallized mysteries", powerful armaments made using the imagination of humans as their core, and weapons or abilities owned by Heroic Spirits. They are the embodiment of the ultimate mysteries of a hero that symbolizes one's existence through historical facts and anecdotes. They can be physical weapons, such as swords, lances, and bows, or support items, such as rings and crowns.[1] They can also be abstract concepts, like unique abilities, unique means of attacks, curses, and changes to the environment and its physical properties. When summoned as Servants in the Holy Grail War, they are the trump cards of the heroes that allow them to overcome others in battle."
However in the case of the spirits that are of another universe, said phantasm can be based off those things, or they can be based off a major ability they have from where they come from. Again, it still needs to within reason though.
There are several grades of Noble phantasm

Classification:
Noble Phantasms are classified by their effectiveness against enemies.[18] One Noble Phantasm may have multiple classifications depending on its abilities. Along with Noble Phantasms, there are also the alternate descriptors of Secret Technique (奥義, Ōgi?) for Jumping the Eight Ships at Dan-no-ura and Mystic Sword (魔剣, Maken?) for Tsubame Gaeshi.
  • Unknown (不明, Fumei?) - Due to its variable nature, Nine Lives is not given a classification.
  • Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm (対人宝具, Tai-Jin Hōgu?, Anti-Person) - Anti-Unit Noble Phantasms are those specialized against defeating other people in single combat.[6] Compared to stronger weapons, a majority of Anti-Unit Noble Phantasms will not go beyond defeating other beings no matter how strong the magical energy or curse they wield. Saber's Invisible Air wouldn't increase the speed of an action like chopping wood, and Lancer's Gáe Bolg, which strikes the opponent's heart, would just be a strong lance if the target is a rock or a house. The advantage over stronger weapons is that they can be compared to guns with unlimited ammo while Anti-Army Noble Phantasms are one-time missiles. Missiles are more powerful, but an Anti-Unit can be continuous like Invisible Air. There are also those that are very cost effective like Gáe Bolg, so it can be called a sure-hit arrow that is better at killing single people than a cannonball.
  • Anti-Unit (Self) Noble Phantasm (対人(自身)宝具, Tai-Hito (Jitai) Hōgu?) - Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm used upon the wielder instead of another target.
  • Anti-Self Noble Phantasm (対己宝具, Tai-Onore Hōgu?) - The classification of The Queen's Glass Game.
  • Anti-Mind Noble Phantasm (対心宝具, Tai-Kokoro Hōgu?) - This classification of Noble Phantasms that targets the mind. While normally Anti-Mind, Sarasvati Meltout, within the cyberspace of the Moon Cell, becomes Anti-City and Anti-World.
  • Anti-Team Noble Phantasm (対陣宝具, Tai-Jin Hōgu?, Anti-Formation) - The classification of Aestus Domus Aurea.
  • Labyrinth Noble Phantasm (迷宮宝具, Meikyū Hōgu?) - The classification of Noble Phantasms that brings forth a Labyrinth or something similar to the concept of a maze.
  • Anti-Army Noble Phantasm (対軍宝具, Tai-Gun Hōgu?) - Anti-Army Noble Phantasms are those with a wide enough range to be specialized against armies.[6] They are more powerful weapons than Anti-Unit Noble Phantasms, capable of easily blowing them away, but they must be used more wisely because of their larger cost. Using an A Rank Noble Phantasm takes a great deal of mana, so they must wait before they can use it again.
  • Anti-Army (Self) Noble Phantasm (対軍(自身)宝具, Tai-Gun (Jitai) Hōgu?) - Anti-Army Noble Phantasms used upon the wielder's own army instead of another group.
  • Anti-Gate Noble Phantasm (対門宝具, Tai-Mon Hōgu?) - The classification of Noble Phantasms that has power capable of blowing away sturdy walls, doors and gates.
  • Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm (対城宝具, Tai-Jō Hōgu?, Anti-Castle) - This rank has powerful Noble Phantasms that can even blow away solid fortified structures.[6] While the difference between Anti-Unit and Anti-Army is the variation in area of effect, Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasms are distinguished from other categories by the great difference in power. Only Excalibur has this rank in all of the Noble Phantasms of the Fourth and Fifth Holy Grail Wars. God Force in Fate/Extra also possesses this rank.
  • Fortress Noble Phantasm (城塞宝具, Jōsai Hōgu?) - Fortress Noble Phantasms are those that consists of solid fortified structures.
  • Anti-Mountain Noble Phantasm (対山寶具, Tai-Zan Hōgu?) - The classification of An Gal Tā Kigal Shē.
  • Anti-Populace Noble Phantasm (対衆宝具, Tai-Shū Hōgu?) - The classification of Noble Phantasms that targets the people, whether they are of the masses or they are that of a civilization.
  • Anti-City Noble Phantasm (対都市宝具, Tai-Toshi Hōgu?) - The classification of Noble Phantasms that has enough range to potentially cover an entire city.
  • Anti-Country Noble Phantasm (対国宝具, Tai-Koku Hōgu?) - The classification of Noble Phantasms that has enough range to potentially cover an entire country.
  • Anti-World Noble Phantasm (対界宝具, Tai-Kai Hōgu?) - The classification of Noble Phantasms that affect the World itself, such as Enuma Elish. While the actual output is around the level of Excalibur, Enuma Elish's effect of unquestionably being that of the legend of "ripping the world" puts the sword in a special category.
  • Anti-Planet Noble Phantasm (対星宝具, Tai-Sei Hōgu?, Anti-Star) - The classification of Angra Mainyu/CCC and Cursed Cutting Crater. According to Leonardo da Vinci, if one releases the full power of a Top Servant's Noble Phantasm, it still can't completely destroy the planet. Even if an Anti-Planet Noble Phantasm existed, according to her calculations, it's still not possible to destroy the planet, since there are already safety measures put into place by the Counter Force. Only creatures from outer space might be able to destroy the Earth.[19]
  • Anti-Thaumaturgy Noble Phantasm (対魔術宝具, Tai-Majutsu Hōgu?) - The classification of Noble Phantasms that are meant to be used for the dispelling and destruction of magecraft and other thaumaturgy.
  • Anti-Treasure Noble Phantasm (対宝宝具, Tai-Takara Hōgu?) - The classification of Noble Phantasms that targets other treasures, potentially including Noble Phantasms.
  • Divine Noble Phantasm (神性宝具, Shinsei Hōgu?) - The classification of Child of the Sun.
  • Anti-Divine Noble Phantasm (対神宝具, Tai-Shin Hōgu?, Anti-God) - The classification of Noble Phantasms that are effective against Divine Spirits. They are few in number, including Enkidu and Vasavi Shakti.
  • Anti-Evil Noble Phantasm (対悪宝具, Tai-Aku Hōgu?) - The classification of Lord Camelot.
  • Anti-Banquet Noble Phantasm (対宴寶具, Tai-En Hōgu?) - The classification of Bale of Inexhaustibility.
  • Anti-Wisdom Noble Phantasm (対智宝具, Tai-Tomo Hōgu?) - The classification of Fintan Finegas.
  • Anti-Principle Noble Phantasm (対理宝具, Tai-Satoru Hōgu?) - The classification of Prelati's Spellbook.
  • Anti-King Noble Phantasm (対王寶具, Tai-Ō Hōgu?) - The classification of Alf Layla wa-Layla.
  • Anti-Beast Noble Phantasm (対獣寶具, Tai-Kemono Hōgu?) - The classification of Mechanical Illusionary Art - Bull Swallowing.
  • Anti-Dragon Noble Phantasm (対竜宝具, Tai-Ryū Hōgu?)
  • Anti-Purge Noble Phantasm (対粛清宝具, Tai-Shukusei Hōgu?) - The classification of Enkidu's Enuma Elish.
  • Anti-Humanity Noble Phantasm (対人理宝具, Tai-Jinrui Hōgu?) - The classification of Ars Almadel Salomonis.
  • Anti-Wave Noble Phantasm (対波宝具, Tai-Nami Hōgu?) - The classification of Prydwen Tube Riding.
  • Barrier Noble Phantasm (結界宝具, Kekkai Hōgu?) - The classification of Noble Phantasms used to create barriers, typically Bounded Fields, but it does not include those that are also used to attack. Avalon is purely defensive, so it is a typical example of a barrier. While other Noble Phantasms like Blood Fort Andromedamay create barriers, they will instead be classified by their ability to attack like Blood Fort Andromeda belonging to the Anti-Army category.
  • Magecraft Noble Phantasm (魔術寶具, Majutsu Hōgu?)
  • Conceptual Noble Phantasm (概念宝具, Gainen Hōgu?)
  • Covenant Noble Phantasm (契約宝具, Keiyaku Hōgu?)
  • Suicide Attack Noble Phantasm (特攻宝具, Tokkō Hōgu?) - The classification of Noble Phantasms that sacrifice the user's life like La Pucelle.
  • Drive Noble Phantasm (疾走宝具, Xisō Hōgu?)
Activation
Similar as to how spells are required to activate magecraft, it is necessary to awaken and activate Noble Phantasms with their True Name. While something like Gáe Bolg is a splendid spear with history and itself a Noble Phantasm, it does not appear inherently extraordinary by itself, only able to display its full potential beyond the realm of normal weapons when imbued with magical energy and activated with the recitation of its True Name.[15] It is possible to give an alternate name to a Noble Phantasm in the case of its True Name being forgotten like with Casseur de Logistille, but while it will be reflected in the Servant's status as such, it cannot activate its true power without it. Sakata Kintoki activates his Golden Eater and Golden Spark with those "suspicious names", while the True Names are very likely different. For weapons that release a great attack, they only reflect their power upon having their True Name called, so striking with them as regular armaments will only reflect the physical abilities of the wielder.[16]
There are a number of Noble Phantasms that display passive abilities that continue to function without any need to call out their names called Continuously Active-Type Noble Phantasms (常時発動型の宝具, Jōji Hatsudō-Gata no Hōgu?), such as God Hand, Crying Warmonger and Kavacha and Kundala. It may be the case that there are conditions required before Noble Phantasms can be activated, and some rare ones require materials to construct. The most common of such cases are those that still exist in the world in the present day that requires the Noble Phantasm to be obtained, while rarer cases require actual materials for their entire construction. While normally complete existences, there are those that are too large to be possessed by a single hero and those that were incomplete but still recorded in the hero's legend.[4]
Noble Phantasms that can be utilized by Masters in the Holy Grail Wars are called Master's Noble Phantasms(マスターの宝具, Masutā no Hōgu?).[17] While Avalon lacks functions as a Noble Phantasm without Saberpresent, Avalon can be sealed within a person to allow them to experience its healing effects so long as Saber is present. Qin Shi Huang's can be used by someone even without him being summoned, and Karna has shown the ability to give his armor to his Master.
The lowdown:
So, we have all this character design in place, world direction, etc, but this is everything else:

There are 6 slots due to the amount of heroic spirit classes within the holy grail war. There are 7 classes total, and there can only be 1 each, so if you want in, and want the class your most interested in, or closest to for the character you want as your spirit, you'll have to act fast!
I'm eager to see responses!
