Fate/Grandiose Delusion

I'm here. Though I have a question for Raijin.

If I offered the Lancer spot, could I have the Saber spot >.> (Just wondering. I have a Saber in mind, but you don't have to trade :P)

I actually claimed Saber, sorry.

Raijin has Saber.

What do you by mean claimed Saber, Silver?

My post makes no sense then. I thought you wanted Saber under your master. Never mind!

Anyways :P

Would you be willing to trade?

He's talking as a Servant not as a Master.

*sniped*

Okay! Master revised! No more soul switching and the Illusion spell should make sense! I also finished his stats.

-quality: D
-quantity: A+

Abilities:

Illusions
Time Manipulation
Energy Thief
Witchcraft (his captor wanted him to be able to place curses)
Necromancy
Runic Magic

Illusions – Over the years they have been working on how to cast Illusions and manipulate them.

Time Manipulation – After botching his first attempt and exploding his sister’s arm, he has since been knee-deep in studying this art. The most recent rune he has etched into himself is on the back of his neck.

Energy Thief – After battling with monster after monster, young Kyun learned how to place a curse upon his opponent that would gradually steal their energy.

Witchcraft – The first study Kyun was thrown into. He is very versed in curses. His next goal is to learn Broom Flight. (who doesn’t want to fly?)

Necromancer – By the time Kyun could kill a single monster in less than five minutes, his captor began multiplying the numbers. Along with studying the dark arts, Kyun came across this handy ability. His first practice was with seven monsters.

Knowledge/Failed Abilities:
Prana Thief (failed, a study his kidnapper had been forcing him to try and uncode)
Reenactment (studied the theories)
Teleportation (currently studying)

Skills:
Scholar – Kyun is very well read and can understand old texts very easily due to his training.
Martial Arts – Kenjutsu, Krav Maga, Capoeira, Ninjitsu
Runes – One of the many magic arts he and his sister studied were Runes. In order to use Runes without incantation, they engrave them into their skin.

Mental Trigger: The image of his sister being touched by their kidnapper.

Personality Pre-Kidnapping:
Kyun was raised to be respectful and strong, but his nature was to be a very bratty and selfish child. He hated having to share with his sister. He was very favored by his grandfather and would often find ways to get out doing his chores. As a child he also loved antagonizing his sister whenever he got the chance. One day Ryun fell deathly ill and this started to change things for him. She couldn’t play anymore when he wanted and couldn’t train with him. When she did get well, he was so excited that he began a new relationship with her. He was kinder to her and they became close.

Personality Post-Kidnapping:
The experiences he gained through this atrocious event are what have built him to be the person he is today. He treasures his sister more than anything and is happy to give her anything she wants.
He has a sense of strong gratitude about him and isn’t shy on expressing it. Because of his little contact with other people, he can come off as strange. He is very curious about other people and as a scholar has the tendency to ask a lot of questions. Kyun is very gentle towards humans, but doesn’t trust animals or other mages.
He and sister express a lot of affection and stay very close to one another; which can make others feel uncomfortable.

Equipment –
Nodachi
Throwing Stars (15)
Climbing (Ninja) Equipment
$$$ - Whatever cash of their kidnapper they could find and whatever of their family’s. (I don’t think they’ll be able to spend all their cash by the time this war is over. XD)
Passport
Clothes, kimono, trunks, etc.
Smart phone
Laptop

History:
Kyun and his sister were raised in their family shrine where they learned how to harness their abilities from Magic to Martial Arts. When the twins were only six years old they were kidnapped by a mage they had never met before. The man murdered everyone in their family besides their grandmother. The man ordered them to work for him or he would murder the last remaining member of their family.
Determined to keep their grandmother protected, they complied. He nourished their capabilities and taught them further Martial Arts, including Krav Maga, Capoeria and Ninjutsu. Their teacher wanted an imbalance between his two prodigies and put one through lavish training while the other one went through brutal training.
Kyun was the one chosen to endure the brutal training. The mage forced him to live in the underground chambers where the kidnapper tossed his failed chimera experiments. Kyun would have to use every ability known to him in order to protect himself. He was also not given clean water or no food. He found himself eating whatever he could from the monsters’ bodies.
Every few days or so, their captor would allow the children to train together and that was when Ryun came up with the idea to switch clothes. She begged her brother to allow her to take some of the burden of the dungeon training. He refused repeatedly until she made him agree to a bet. If she could defeat him in a match, she would take his place until their next session to train together. Kyun knew his training was much more difficult than hers so, he agreed, believing he was stronger. Being such a young child who had never before been exposed to so much pain and sleepless nights, he failed at defeating his sister. They switched clothes, but the cuts and bruises all over Kyun were not to be overlooked by their captor. He called them out on it and, infuriated, flogged the boy relentlessly, calling him a “coward and terrible child” for having convinced his sister to trade places. Of course, it had originally been her idea. She tried to make him see but he did not believe her. For her punishment, he forced her to watch the boy’s beating. She couldn’t look her brother in the eyes, although Kyun only stared into her golden orbs—it was the only thing that helped him survive the punishment. He couldn’t imagine her ever going through the sinister man’s brutal training.
After years of training, very rarely together, his sister shared a new idea. Her studies inspired a very crafty way to use their magic. She believed her brother would not survive his training much longer and devised a technique that would allow them to switch appearances undetected. She was eager to try it. He refused her idea and told her they should just train. Ryun was dishonest and tricked him while they were practicing spells together. Her calculations were correct and they fell under her illusion. Kyun was furious with her, but before he could devise a way to switch back, their captor had returned. Terrified of not knowing what the Mage would do to them, Kyun kept quiet. It agonized him. He remembered the mage saying, “My, aren’t you looking rather cheerful, Kyun.” Of course the boy appeared happy, because inside his sister was smiling about her success.
Kyun cried every night for his sister while they were apart. She had no idea what his training was like. He prayed she would survive.
Life inside the mage’s house was much different. Kyun could eat, drink, bathe, study, relax, whenever he wanted as long as he completed the material that his kidnapper wanted him to learn. Every night he would snuggle in the cashmere blankets and stare out the large ornate window in Ryun’s room. The stars against the night sky were beautiful. He knew Ryun would not be seeing them for a very, very long time.
Finally, when they were reunited for special training, he ran to Ryun and squeezed her. She hugged him back, but instead of crying, she was smiling. His image was in much worse condition than when he had been using it. The challenges in the dungeon had become harder every day and that was something Kyun had grown used to.
He demanded they switch back, so during their magic practice, they searched for a way of doing so, but Ryun’s prana was too low. The children learned that both of them must have generally around the same level of prana in order to use their secret ability. The captor came back before they could make the switch.
Kyun cried and fought to stay with his sister. The mage at that point told him to stop being such a weak girl.
The next time they got together they skipped their physical training to study hard enough to learn more about their prana and how to cancel the illusion. They realized they would not have time and devise a plot to escape before the mage came back. The man had returned sooner than expected and caught them. He told them they would never see each other again.
Days bled into years. One day, while he was studying, the mage told Kyun that “her brother” was learning two new things: how to use blood and sexuality as tools.
Sick to his stomach, Kyun nearly lost his mind and almost attacked his captor, but he knew that if he failed, Ryun was sure to be in agony unimaginable. He dove into his studies and found rune passages. It took him several days to understand the context and execute it. Around six a.m. he started the spell, first by inscribing the rune into his sister's left arm (he knew that once they canceled the illusion, her body would be fine) and at six’o one a.m., he was laying on the ground in a pool of blood. He tried to sit up, but when he moved to lean on his left arm, his face hit the floor instead. Pain and shock filled every inch of him. It took him several minutes to discover he had botched the spell and it had backfired. He collapsed into the blood, crying, swearing. He squeezed the wound—his fingers felt flesh, not exposed bone. He looked to wear his gushing stump should be, but instead it a clean numb with the rune symbol glowing an eerie blue. The pain remained, but his confusion overwhelmed it. His eyes wandered involuntarily until they landed on another conundrum. His clock hadn’t changed from six’o one a.m. He had done it. He managed to freeze time. He knew it wouldn’t last long, so he had to act. He found his captor’s frozen body sitting at the fireplace, reading books and sipping wine. The orange and red of the flame were perfectly still. He could see outside that the clouds still floated lazily in the moonlight. On the far wall was a collection of weapons. Some were filled with the aura of magic.
He grabbed the mage’s axe with the iridescent purple blade. Kyun had done enough killing of beasts, but never humans. He hesitated—until his captor’s pinky twitched.
That fatal swing of the purple axe led to the rescue of his sister and their escape.
The twins used their kidnapper’s library and training grounds until they felt experienced enough in Ryun’s Illusion concept, Time Manipulation and many other skills. There was one last thing they studied before returning home: the War of the Holy Grail.
When they did return home, they discovered their grandmother had passed away about a year ago. They remembered what they studied of the war and made a promise to win it and get their family back.

Illusion’s Backlash:
Because Ryun had never before attempted a cloaking magic, her rushed spell rendered a terrible affect. Whatever the happens to the user while in the illusion will be carried back to whomever or whatever they are cloaked as.

Myths and Rumors:
The man had kidnapped the Misura twins because of their “golden eyes” and raw talent. He heard rumors about mages who were the far descendants of a “True Ancestor”. This has never been confirmed, just a myth.

Training:
Their family taught them in order to prepare for the Holy Grail War and their kidnapper trained them in hopes they would be his future body guards, for lack of a better word. This man had many reasons for teaching and strengthening them. He also was hoping to turn them into a resource for prana.

Reasons:

  • Prana resource
  • Protection
  • Experiment magic, runes, etc using them.
  • Discovering a cloaking spell that he hoped would keep him concealed during the war.

Wish: To have their family return to the way it once was.

Appearance: (will draw soon!)

Name: Ryun Misura

Servant: None, her brother is the Master

Alignment: Lawful Good

Age:16

Gender: Female

Height: 5’3”

Hair color: Red

Eye color: Gold

Blood type: O

Likes: Practicing martial arts, spicy food, swimming, bubble baths

Dislikes: Most other mages, evil, kidnappers, onions

Magic Crest: (it will be a mirror image of her brother’s)

Magic:
-quality: A
-quantity: C

Abilities:
General Magecraft
Illusions
Energy Thief
Counter Magic
Runic Magic
Conversion of Power

Knowledge/Failed Abilities:
Prana Thief (failed, a study his kidnapper had been forcing her to try and uncode)
Circuit Breaker (a skill that would allow its user to destroy the Magic Circuits of its target)
Teleportation (currently studying)

Skills:
Scholar – Ryun is very well read and can understand old texts very easily due to her training.
Martial Arts – Kenjutsu, Krav Maga, Capoeira, Ninjitsu
Runes – She can carve them into her skin for quicker application.

Mental Trigger: The image of her brother being beaten.

Personality Pre-Kidnapping:
She took notice of her grandfather’s favoring her brother and swore that she would surpass him as a martial artist and mage. She studied diligently and that’s what brought her to training so hard she made herself ill from lack of rest. When she was finally better she discovered a new side to her brother and her desire to become stronger than him wilted. Instead, she wanted to be his equal.

Personality Post-Kidnapping:
What she endured showed her how to have a strong resolve in spite of pain or fear. She is great at handling her emotions and takes great pride in that. She’s very good at detecting manipulation and doesn’t appreciate it. Ryun loves having fun by playing around, going to movies and meeting new people. She’s not as aggressive towards other mages, unlike her brother, and this is partially because of the relationship she had with their kidnapper.

Extra: She wears a prosthetic arm. Often magic is stored in this arm.

Equipment –
Chain and sickle
Explosives and Creation Equipment
$$$ - Whatever cash of their kidnapper they could find and whatever of their family’s. (I don’t think they’ll be able to spend all their cash by the time this war is over. XD)
Passport
Clothes, kimono, swimsuit, etc.
Smart phone
Laptop

History: Coming soon! Not much different than her brother’s.

Wish: To have their family return to the way it once was.

So we're just ironing out which servant goes with which master now?

Sorry Ornstein, but I'm going to stick with Saber for now.

So we're just ironing out which servant goes with which master now?
More or less, some CSs need to be made and such, but we've got grounds set up, so to speak.

Who has Caster again? And I mean normal caster, not the left-over one?

Well, I'll happily team up with you, Phantom, if you're still open and iron out a master once I figure out what would be an interesting fit.

@ConvexAtaraxia I like your opinions on Ravana, so I was curious, for his last Skill, which of the following do you think would be most suiting?

Bravery - seeing how he was quite the conquerer.

High-Speed Divine Words - since he spoke with Shiva and all that fun stuff.

Magic Resistance - relating to his requested permission.

Noble Phantasms
Name: Pyramid of Giza
Title: Eternal Vessel of the Sun King
Rank: A++
Type: Anti - Army
Range: 1- 100
Maximum Number of Targets: 100
Description:

The actualization of the phenomenon known as the "Pyramid of Giza". A noble phantasm that pulls forth the true nature of the crystallization of Khufu's legend known as the Pyramid of Giza. It does not summon the pyramid by itself, but rather it is a complex ritual designed to create what is known as the Pyramid of Giza. The pyramid itself is not designed to be, as many have thought, a burial chamber, but instead it was a means of tethering the pharaoh's consciousness to the pyramid, a super weapon designed to reign over Egypt, so as to continue reign as a true representation of the sun god. However the mad ritual failed during Khufu's life as his people protested over this act of tyranny and threatened to remove his body from the pyramid should it ever be placed within, leading to Khufu's body being noticeably absent from the pyramid, likely buried in the valley of kings in a now long lost grave. Nevertheless the glory of the pyramids still stands to this day, a testament to the awing extent of Khufu's ambition and authority. The ritual itself is remarkably similar to the act of designating a territory, essentially claiming an area's mana designating it for use in the ritual. The area covered should be of pure earthly material such as bedrock or undiluted metal for best results, which can be found deep underground in mines(hint) and even on surfaces. The ritual can be performed on impure areas but will take significantly longer to perform, jumping from a minimum of a single day to four or even five. Once the ritual is completed, all the earth in the designated area is converted in mass, restructured, enchanted and modified to become a replica of the pyramid of Giza.

The pyramid's interior functions much like that of a highly ordered vessel of war, with several compartments for steering and targeting as well as maintenance and repair. However most of these rooms are invalidated as the treasures required to equip the pyramid with the necessary armaments are unable to be materialized along with the ritual. The main "control room" is located in the King's chamber at the upper end of the pyramid below the pyramidion. Egyptian magecraft inscriptions run across every inch and crevice of the pyramid's infrastructure all converging in the King's chamber, turning the entire construct into a vessel of war that relays data to the Pharaoh. Additionally, all curses of Egyptian origin are treated as rank up within the pyramid. The pyramid itself is "activated" by placing the symbol of divine authority, the snake staff of the pharaoh, into a special keyhole. Upon activation, the pyramid emerges from the ground and begins to float upwards as a massive and aerial construct, a true vessel by which the pharaoh would traverse from the earth to the heavens as it was meant to be. It moves rather slowly but can travel at exceptionally high altitudes above even low flying clouds. The pyramid itself is a construct that attempts to reconstruct the powers of the sun god Horus to a very lesser extent, an arrogant attempt to become a true incarnation of the sun god himself. The pyramid is able to harness sunlight in a massive area around it and absorb it. It is then capable of firing this light in massive beams of destructive heat that scorch the earth and create impressive and smoking craters. Two types of beams can be fired. One is a charged variant that utilizes six seconds of charging time to fire a massive two hundred meter diameter beam of scorching light that is equivalent to the power of an A ranked noble phantasm attack. The other variant is a smaller beam merely around five meters in diameter that can be fired in droves up to fifty at a time at all angles of the pyramid, with each being equivalent to a C ranked attack. These smaller beams can be fired in spread out intervals to essentially shoot beams constantly, scorching the earth in a carpet bomb fashion with a continuous stream of burning destruction. When the pyramid was first constructed, it is calculated that it would have been easily visible as a ball of light from even space, and it being aligned with the heavens through the constellations is no coincidence. In defense, the pyramid is capable of forming shields, with two variants like the offensive lasers. The first variant is a massive dome like shield that covers the entire pyramid, blocking out attacks of B rank potency easily. The other variant is a square barrier covering one side of the pyramid which is far more condensed and powerful, capable of withstanding even the attack of an A ranked noble phantasm. A bounded field is ever present in the interior of the pyramid, serving to stabilize environmental conditions within to make the place as inhabitable and comfortable as possible in the case of high altitudes or underground movement. The pyramid is essentially a massive node for light itself, drawing it in like a lightningrod attracts thunder. When actively storing light, the pyramid glows with an intense fervor, but this can be turned off to minimize its presence relatively well at the cost of, obviously, not storing light for future use.The pyramids also possess advanced navigational systems and even a radar through cross referencing constellation positions and scrying waves, a characteristic of the Grand Gallery which was a pathway to view the stars. These same navigational systems can act as targeting systems for the beams of sunlight, allowing for effective and accurate aim.

A self destruct system is also present, which is a last ditch effort and a vain backup for the pharaoh to go "out in a blaze of glory". The pyramid turns to it's side, facing its pyramidion to its target before propelling itself towards it while storing light in massive quantities. Upon colliding with the target, all energies present within the pyramid are detonated in a massive explosion at the level of an A++ noble phantasm's attack.

Cool character, but a question, how exactly would the egyptian mage craft work. It's just a matter of curiosity. Also, a giant floating pyramid of firey death, how very inconspicous.
