If you heed the Grail's call, and abide by this will and reason, then answer me.
The Fuyuki Grail War: a famous ritual in which mages summon heroic spirits of the past in an attempt to attain the omnipotent wish granter. But for generations the Tohsaka, Matou and Einzbern families have ruled it, using other mages as pawns for their own goals. In America, where magecraft is all but non-existent but greed runs rampant, a rogue family attempted to build their own version of the Holy Grail in a small mountain city in the US. It didn't work, sadly: the Grail activated prematurely and consumed the researchers in an attempt to fill the mana needed to bring itself into the world. To get the rest, it sent out command seals to seven individual mages and begun a Holy Grail War - the first American Grail War - but there was still a flaw: the masters are all descendants of the registered Heroic Spirits resting in the throne of Heroes, used as a living catalyst to summon their ancestors as Servants in this Grail War. And that isn't the only flaw with this Grail...
All RPers will responsible for both their master and servant. Interactions between characters will be gently restricted to multiple short paragraphs. Solo moments may be more lengthy. Participants take the viewpoint of either master, servant or switch between (be sure to specify any swaps during solo moments). Combat interactions will be as live-action as can be maintained between individuals and no pre-scripted victors, instead it will be done on fight-by-fight basis between individuals engaged in battles (GM's overseeing to ensure fairplay). For the RPers themselves, keep to what is established for your characters and no god-modding (we don't need another Gilgamesh-tier servant running around). Servant and master profile templates will be provided for all participants. As always, be kind to each other while trying to murder them!
