A young man and lady are apprentices to a great wizard in his tower. After an emergency, the wizard must go away for a few weeks to deal with a nasty problem. While the master is away, the man gets into his belongings, while the lady behaves herself and is studious and diligent.
Delving into the darker arts, the man finds an ancient book of evil and accidentally summons an evil spirit from the beyond.
