Fairy Tail: Eclipse

She once again seemed to have fallen asleep, and now she was behind. The girl who resembled a cotton candy puff seemed to frantically get up, moving out of the train at the station behind her group members (Group 1) without triping. She didn't want to be seen as a drag, and she questioned why the guild master would even allow someone like her to join a group of such strong people. Ahh, she was getting anxious.

Once their stop had arrived, she tried getting off, and for the trip, the kimono she usually wore was different; it was shorter, and her hair was tied up into a pony tail through a bell ribbon that didn't make noise. Her kimono had the skirt up just above her knees, and she wore black shorts underneath, however kept the long sleeves.

Looks like she was travelling lightly.

Wait.. Eh? Where was her group? They were there a moment ago... Did she lose them? Oh gods, gods no. What would she do if she lost them? She would be in so much trouble, like, real trouble. Oh gods, oh gods.

Just then, she heard Zerek speaking up, and she listened to the voice carefully, trying her best to follow the voice of her fellow group members. Her petite structure was able to fit between the people, however, it was tough with her bag, in case people would try to take it from her after all. Once she got out of the crowd of the people, she found group crowded together, and her face expressed utter bliss. "I found you-- Wha!" She said, almost as if cheering, only to trip over her own feet, and falling to the ground. She would probably just fall on her own, soon getting up slowly and rubbing her forehead. She had grown used to it, but, it was still annoying, all the tripping happening. "I-I'm sorry.."

Felix glanced about at the group, disappointed in the lack of response. "Well, I guess we can settle that later, it's a boring conversation anyway. Let us go hunt down this heathen and show him why he should fear the honor of a true warrior!" he exclaimed dramatically, holding a fist to the sky. The gas-mask he wore muffled his voice, though his words still came through loud and clear. He was probably being significantly louder than he needed to, but Felix was quite the dramatic guy, after all, why should he worry about what others thought? A true warrior was always confident, for there were few things in the world that could stand up to a warrior, so long as the warrior's heart was true and their blade honorable. Even in death, the true victory always went to the most honorable opponent, and Felix Ferris was a very honorable man.

"So, we're going in.. to catch the bad guy!" River pointed her fingers in a make-believe gun. She couldn't help the grin the spread across her face. "What are waiting for? Just as Felix said, lets go, lets go - LETS GO!" Jumping up and down, she tugged on Phi's shoulder. Still pumped with enthusiasm, she heard someones water bottle explode in the back ground.

Kuroh Fujijibasu

He walked off the train last, mask on along with a tattered cloak that he had worn on the way there. His team didn't pay much attention to him as he was a background person. He was someone you could walk by and forget almost immediately. He continued on down an alley way hoping to find clues. It was then he saw an unconscious young boy who was very sick then it happened. 'This Pain what is it' he thought as he grabbed his head with both hands. Flashes of his memory started coming back to him. "No I don't want to remember!!!" He said aloud to himself. Not knowing what to do he used a 'soul punch' on himself giving him a brief moment of unconsciousness. He started heavily panting as he got up he started walking to the boy. He wondered how many of the sick his team had found.

He made it out with the rest, with his hands in his pocket. They were going to check a lead out, to see if that could help them narrow down who's using poison in the air to kill mages specifically. A casual expression was plastered on his face as he listened to what Zarek said. That's when his attention shifted back towards the train when he noticed none other than the last person in their group. Clumsy and cute, but also quite dangerous. Ice formed around his nose and mouth, making an ice-mask for him to use. There was no need for him to use the one they had, but he kept it just in case.

Walking over to the clumsy guildmate, he spoke up. "Hana-chan, you alright?" That's what he used to call her anyway, though his expression could have said otherwise. 'Stop tripping already' He thought to himself. Letting his question sink in for a moment, and after getting a response, he nodded her over to the rest of the group. Once they gathered up again, along with Hanaka, he kept quiet, just listening in.

"S-Sorry.. I'm alright.." The petite girl mumbled, quickly trying her best to get up as she put the mask over her face, in fear that she might get sick as well. "So um.. What is the plan?" She asked, pretty absentmindedly, trying to get a grasp on the situation. The plant magic user tilted her head, a curious expression shown through her bright, pink eyes. She was pretty embarrassed when she tripped so easily, again, it was times like these where she wondered what sorcery let her be picked for a mission such as this, but she knew better than to speak twice to the guild master.. She was scary in Hanaka's opinion.. Well, no worrying about that now.

She had no good idea right about now, as she rubbed the back of her head, and followed Nero as quickly as her little feet could take her. Once he stopped, she kind of bumped her head onto his back, to which she quickly backed away and moved next to him. "Sorry.."

Well, she had the tendency of apologizing. At least she was being polite about it.

The God Slayer shirked at Felix' question. "Uh ummm..." But as River tugged on her in anticipation to get moving, and nobody else offered, she sighed in defeat. "I guess so..." She half mumbled. Phoenix wasnt shy really, but she didnt like telling others what to do, leading wasnt exactly her forte. She was much more of a follower....Sometimes. Shaking her head she smiled at River as she bounced around like a little kid. 'And she wonders why I treat her like a younger sister...' She thought with amusement. Felix picking up they're luggage made the blonde blink in surprise before giggling lightly. "I guess all that muscle comes in handy outside of a fight too huh?" She observed in a teasing tone. But thats when she heard a familiar voice a little ways from them, her sensitive hearing picking up on it sooner than the others most likely.

Frowning she ran over to where she heard Kuroh. By the time she arrived her teammate was getting back up with a large red mark on his cheek. "Kuroh! What happened?" She asked out of concern. Thats when Phi noticed the sick boy in the ally. Her sapphire eyes turned sad for a moment before she placed a hand gently on Kuroh's shoulder. "I know....But we cant help them now. We have to find the cure." She spoke in a sympathetic tone, her tone hushed. On the outside she might seem strong, but on the inside it was killing her to see so many innocents suffering for no reason. A fury was swirling inside her and she needed an enemy to take it out on. Walking out of the ally she motioned for the others to follow, her features serious. "Lets go, these people are depending on us."

River glanced at the boy, his state made her want to hurl a little. Keep calm. She nudged back a little behind Phoenix. They were then lead forward from the alley, walking forward slowly, River found herself at the back of the group. Her breathing sped up slightly, she was on edge. Hopefully we find something useful at the tipsy wand, the plauge is truly terrible.

Zarek glanced over to Hanaka as she nearly face planted when she tripped off the train. Luckily Nero was near to help her out. For some reason Zarek liked the....Perky young girl, she was refreshing to him, if not a bit naive. When nobody commented on his plan he took it as acceptance and folded the map back up, stuffing it into his jacket. Looking back to Hanaka he explained with a calm expression. "We're going to check out a Shrine a few clicks outside the town, theirs been suspicious activity there possibly related to the Crusade. That is if nobody has any objections?" He inquired at the end as his amethyst eyes scanned the group. Honestly he hated having all eyes on him, he did much better in the shadows and never enjoyed the spot light. Gods know why Winter appointed the map and plan to him of all people. Especially since not everyone in the guild trusted him, not just because he'd only been there a few months, but because of his.....Tainted blood. 'I swear that woman is a devil in disguise...' He thought sarcastically as he waited for anyone to voice they're opinion. If they didnt have any objections he would set off for the town gates.

Temperance sighed and went along with the blood users plan for now, as it seemed no one else wanted to speak. She thought back to the other team, knowing that they were full of energy, while this group seemed to lack such energy greatly. The only energy they have comes from clumsy little Hanaka. Her single eye looked back at their "appointed" leader, said man seeming to not like being at the center of attention very much. Strangely enough, she felt that maybe she should see if he is okay to be in such a position even though it makes him uncomfortable. Walking over to him, she placed a hand on his shoulder and looked him in the face. "Are you alright, Zarek? Do you wish to relinquish your position to someone else?" She asked, her voice only slightly muffled by the mask she wears. With the added equipment, only one third of her face was revealed to everyone. Suffice to say, her face was a bit uncomfortable right now.

Akira was right behind Aurora, his hands tucked into the sleeves of his dark blue gi. Hideyoshi's attire stood out amongst his companions. It virtually screamed 'traditional' in every sense of the word. The robe-like garment had a deep v-shape neckline that somewhat exposed his lightly toned chest before the two lapels wrapped over each other. His lower half was covered in a pleated skirt like pants; he wore sandals woven from straw and thick, split socks. At his waist was a beautiful, ornate curved sword. The sword never seemed to leave his side with the exception of bathing and sleeping and was extremely well taken care of. The sword however, was not waved about lightly. He only used it to fight bandits and the like.

While Akira was a master with the sword, his ability were much more formidable and something to be respected--if not feared. His caster magic Crash and Disassembly were highly advanced magics. Fairy Tail's very own Gildarts Clive knew them, and was a master of them. Even so Akira had accomplished something his senior in the art hadn't--complete control over Crash. He didn't have to worry about demolition entire towns just by moving through them. Perhaps that was why many of his opponents underestimated him because he would never show his powers off unnecessarily because of how destructive they were.

Having followed Pheonix, he stood at her side. The man resonated with a calm nature despite all that was going on around him. Most considered him cold, calloused to their plight but nothing was further from the truth. In actuality, he had great compassion he didn't like to see innocent people fall victim to another's will. He could feel Pheonix's uncertainty; she was beating herself up again. If it wasn't because he'd known her for a time, he could see it plastered on her face.

"Let's go, these people are depending on us." She said to them.

While they continued on, he kept a steady pace with their eager leader and when there was a fair enough space between Phoenix and himself from the rest he spoke up.

"You mustn't beat yourself up, over something you can't help right now." He said holding his head straight but with his eyes were shut as usual. "It's enough that you seek resolution to their pain. That's more than most can do at the moment." He assured her.

"We will find those responsible, and when we do..." Akira's eyes slowly opened with an intimidating stare. "we'll beat them."

Felix Ferris extended a hand to the boy who'd knocked himself unconscious, offering the hand (which was as large as some people's faces) to help him up. The massive knight didn't understand why the boy knocked himself out, but he also didn't really know any of the particulars of the boy's magic, so perhaps it was necessary, "Try to avoid harming yourself, if your magic allows it. Self-harm is incredibly dishonorable," the knight said calmly, "Are you alright, or are you in need of carrying?" he asked.

Standing there, he felt a soft thud-like nudge from the back, tilting his head to the side, he gazed at none other than Hana-chan. Looking at her for a few seconds in silent, he spoke up. "It's fine, and while we're here, stay with by my side, got it?" For some reason, Nero wanted to protect her, and just as much as the rest from the guild, but to him, she was a bigger responsiblity in his mind. She was clumsy and could easily get lost, and tripping herself into falling was pretty much her middle name.

Once Zarek mentioned a particular shrine they had to visit to check for anything suspicious, Nero decided to voice something obvious, since no one else was asking any questions. "Then what are we waiting for? Lets go to this.. Shrine." After a few seconds, as they all settled on what to do, the group started to move.

Nero turned to the side, stopping in his tracks. Looking closely at Hana-chan before approaching her. Extending his own palm, an ice mask was generated. "Use this mask for now.. And if this one breaks, use the one given to us back at the guild.." He still had a serious expression, but he meant well.

~~~ Hanaka Kokoro ~~~
Location: With the group, off the train.
Mood: Embarrassed
Activity: Standing and 'totally talking' with the group
Hanaka was a tiny bit edgy, as she wasn't used to being in a group such as this, she usually went on jobs by herself, and somehow got them done as well. God knows what she did. Well anyways, enough of that, they had to get to a Shrine... Right? At least, that's what Zarek said, so they should get going sooner or later. There was a little moment of silence between both her and Nero, only for Nero to speak up, telling her to stay by him during the mission. The female was pretty embarrassed when he told her to, since she felt like she was being baby sat by a bunch of mages and such, though, reluctantly agreed to. She was pretty short, at least, a bit shorter than her age's average height, but it wasn't by too much, probably by half an inch, or an entire one. "Okay.." She mumbled, her voice somewhat muffled by the mask, but still audible.
The others seemed to be pretty silent, and in her opinion, it created the atmosphere of awkwardness. This kind of bothered her, bringing her anxiety levels way higher than they should be. Luckily, Nero broke the silence by suggesting that they go straight to the shrine. Hanaka let out a light sigh of relief, apparently thankful that Nero had broken the awkward atmosphere that she felt crawling on.
As they were about to leave, Hanaka blinked a few times, stumbling and trying her best to follow the others. She was probably smallest, height wise, as she only stood 5'0", so it took effort to actually be able to keep up with her short legs. Once she caught up to Nero, he stopped in his tracks; prompting her to again, bump into him lightly as he turned around. She kind of bumped into his shoulder, and so she moved back a bit when he stopped. Curious, she tilted her head to the side while looking up. "Um.. Yes?" She asked, in a fairly soft and high pitched voice. When he told her to wear the ice mask that he made, she seemed to have to process what he was saying at first to finally understand it. "Ah.. Alright!" She nodded, picking up the ice mask and taking the other mask off. She quickly switched the masks, making sure not to breath since she was in what she considered 'enemy territory' and such. So if the ice mask broke, she should wear the one that the guild gave her, got it.
Hanaka put the guild's mask in a small pouch on the belt, strapped around her waist. Her attire stood out a little bit, as she was wearing a short kimono, the sleeves were cut off from the kimono and the actual, cut off sleeves were tightly tied around her arm, jus under her arm pits, by a golden elastic. The kimono itself was a light pink/purple colour, with a white flower pattern on it. Before they started walking again, however, she held onto the end of the back of his shirt, looking down for a moment out of embarrassment before looking up at him again. "U-Um.. Can I hold onto your shirt like this..? I-In case I get lost or fall!" She hastily said, her face just a tiny bit pink. She wasn't used to asking these sorts of things, so she really didn't know how she should be acting.
Upon the rest of his team talking and such Kuroh decided it was necessary to split up. Without most his team knowing, he silently krept into an alley way. Thinking he was in the clear he walked out of the other side of the alley. 'it's not like anyone will know I'm missing' he thought to himself, this is because he didn't really stand out unless you were actually paying great attention to your surroundings.
Kuroh crept through the city looking for more clues and such. He could hear all of the souls screaming in pain due to his magic. He wanted to help them but in order to do that he had to find the cause of it first. He then walked in to what seemed to be an abandoned house. Taking a few more steps the floor gave out and he fell down into a shaft, everything went dark.
Kuroh blinked. His head hurt, he had just fallen from the shaft within that house. Taking in his surroundings he stood up. He opened the bag he had to make sure nothing had been crushed from the fall. Relieved he took out the small lantern he had been given, and lighted it. He then proceeded through the caverns ahead of him.
Oshita (Oshi) Harukichi
Oshita had just finished another side job for a guild and was preparing to leave town, in order to flee the plague, when she noticed a rather tall man in heavy armor exiting a train followed by a few other's whom seemed to know him. Judging by the gas masks the group were probubly wizards... but why were they coming here? Her eye's narrowed as she watched them. "So, does this mean you're leading this team, Phoenix?" The large knight that had originally caught her eye bellowed beneath his gas mask. The man certainly had a presence to him...
Oshita did her best to ease drop and while she could catch most of the conversation it seemed their 'leader' was being extra careful. Luckily the others gladly filled her in and from what she gathered they came here to start a fight. "Nothing quite like a great tavern brawl to get the blood pumping,' huh?" She mumbled under her breath as she adjusted her dust mask. The people of this city had enough problems with the plague, they didn't need a group of wizards causing trouble on top of that! She took a deep breath to calm herself down.
As she continued to listen in, which wasn't hard with the young girl and large knight excitedly parroting everything they were told, she began to realize they weren't here to cause trouble, but perhaps they were here on legitimate business? The group started to move towards an ally way and Oshita quickly followed. After casting paper in a broken stair formation she leaped from paper to paper until she was on the rooftops. It was there that she uncovered their true reason for being in the city. "I know....But we cant help them now. We have to find the cure." Oddly enough it was their careful leader that broke the secret. This was an opportunity. Where were they going again? ...
Unable to remember which pub they were heading too Oshita made a very rash decision. She remembered the leader had pulled out a piece of paper, that paper probubly had the details of their mission. All she had to do was use her magic to pull it to her, read the details, go to the pub with it in hand, and blackmail the group. Her conditions, 'I won't tell anyone about your mission if you let me join and get in on the reward at the end.' Honestly this wasn't really about the reward. The city was hurting, she was going to flee powerlessly but now... now she had a chance to do something! ... she was still going to take the reward though.
Oshita jumped from rooftop to rooftop until she found the ideal location. She reached out her hand and began to manipulate the rolled up paper that was sloppily thrown into the leader's backpack when she had noticed her comrades injury not to long ago. The paper slowly started to slip out of the backpack but before it came loose a gust of wind blew and knocked Oshita off balance. This resulted in the worst possible outcome. The paper she was attempting to swipe came flying out of the bag and Oshita came tumbling off the rooftop. "Ah-AHHH!"
Moriyama (Mori) Masamune
Moriyama was told about the mission a full twenty four hours before the rest of the guild, not because Winter trusted him or wanted to ask his opinion on the mater, but because she knew him all too well. She told him to pack and prepare the night before (which would mean he would pack the next morning), the next morning he was to pick up his mask (he would pick up his mask sometime that afternoon), then she would tell him his train left three hours before it's actual departure time (he would be just on time to catch his train) and finally she told him to meet the rest of his group an hour before their estimated time of arrival. Needless to say, he still managed to be late.
When Mori stepped off the train he immediately made his way to the rooftops. Winter had built in a lot of extra time for his mission which was nice for a change. He didn't have to feel pressured by time at all (though honestly Mori never felt pressured by time); she finally realized he had a lot of important things to do and gave him extra time for that. He was sure the rest of his guildmates felt grateful for the small amount of free time given to them to explore the city a little. Not that Mori was going to explore, no he had far more important matter to attend to.
"Zzzzz..." Moriyama was napping quiet peacefully on the rooftops despite having to wear an uncomfortable gas mask. He told himself he would only nap for half an hour then proceed to snoop around the town a little before meeting up with the group exactly on time... but his nap ended up taking a little bit longer than that. A gust of wind blew and sent a shiver down his spine. That's when he noticed a shingle poking into his side and finally sat up to relieve himself of the minor hindrance to his all important nap. He smacked his lips together a couple times before checking his watch... An hour late?! "Oh crud." He mumbled before hopping to his feet and jumping from building to building in the direction of rendezvous point.
On the last building before the plaza, that acted as a waiting grounds for the Shirotsume Station, Mori launched himself from the building and landed a few feet behind the departing group. "On time." He mumbled as he slid past Nero and Hana only to come to a halt just behind Temperance. "So who do we got? Cal, Nero, chibi (Hana), Demon (Zarek), and our newest powerhouse Ms. Valor." Mori purposefully pronounces her last name as written instead of how she directed him to pronounce it. "Excellent. Time to kick butt at the shrine."
Temperance nearly had a heart attack and turns quickly unsheathing her sword and held it to the person's neck, a glare set into her single eye. She despised it when people snuck up behind her, as it made her feel uncomfortable. More importantly, the person in question had mispronounced her name. Yes, the spelling itself was the same way as "valor" but it was pronounced as "vuh-lor". She continued to glare at the person, not exactly knowing this man personally and if he knew them, that meant either he was their target or an ally. "Who are you, stranger?" She asked, keeping her blade at the man's throat. "Speak fast, unless you wish to taste my blade." She knew that she may have come off as demanding and a bit cold, but in these situations, it is best to be careful of those who one is not familiar with.
Phi reached out to stop Kuroh from leaving, but he was already gone. She didnt understand why he sought out solitude, even on jobs with others he tended to go off on his own. Phi on the other hand enjoyed the company of others, at least good company. She'd been alone long enough in her life to learn to appreciate having people you like and trust around. Sighing she let it go, there was more important things that needed to be done right now. Walking through the town the blonde tried to ignore the suffering people and the ones that wernt affected helplessly trying to take care of them. She didnt even realize she had been frowning until Akira spoke. Blinking she glanced over at her comrade, at his words she gave a small, somewhat sad smile.
"Doesnt make it any less difficult to see all this-" She gestured to the innocent civilians "And not be able to do anything to help." She responded but her sapphire eyes shined with resolve. "Your right though, we're gonna pumble whoever did this and make them give us the cure." She punctuated her words with a fist to her palm that glowed a faint yellow. That was when everything got a little out of hand. A gust of wind hit them and Phoenix's map went flying out of her pack, which was odd cuz she could of sworn she put it in more secure than that. At the same time a distinctively feminine scream came from the nearby rooftop. Frowning Phi glanced up to see a girl around her age falling straight for Felix. Trusting the brute would have no problem catching the girl, Phi went to chase down the map. Luckily it was no match for her speed, with a leap into the air she snatched the map and returned to her group within a minute.
Just as she was about to reach them though....She tripped....On a loose stone....And fell right into Akira's back knocking them both over.
Zar was surprised when Temperance approached him so casually. Usually people, even Wizards instinctively steered clear of him. Either for his massive height or deadly aura that he couldn't help. But this one eyed girl seemed different, she seemed...Genuine. at her question he rubbed the back of his neck in a bashful gesture. "Im okay...Is it that obvious? I guess I'm just not use to having anyone looking to me to lead." He explained a bit awkwardly, he wasn't use to talking about himself either. It made the purple eyed man feel vulnerable somehow. "But Winter chose me, gods know why, so I'll push through it." His tone was a bit more confident now as they began to move out. "Thanks Tempi." He used the nickname he heard some of the other guild members use for the dark haired girl. But it was a first for him, Zarek just hoped she didn't mind.
15 min Later
Zarek was beginning to wonder when Mori was gonna show up as they neared the town entrance. When the object of his thoughts dropped down behind them, only to have Tempi hold him up at sword point. The scene was quite comical, especially if you knew Mori's personality. Before anything could get out of hand though, Zar stepped between the 2. Gently pushing the sword to the side with his fingers.
"Its okay Temperance, this is Moriyama. Hes one of us, and fashionably late....As usual." With surprising speed Zarek punched Mori on the head, not very hard....For him. "That's for being late, again." He stated bluntly, not caring for the "Demon" title the lazy mage liked to use for him.
With that he continued out of Logres with his team. It only took about 20 min to reach the shrine that looked like it hadn't bern used in ages.
