Daniel James "DJ" Greenwood
Currently on the road to Fairytail
interacting with everyone.

Daniel was taking his time walking down the road he was smiling looking at everything getting familiar with everything this land had to offer. He looked over at the houses overlooking the road, he watched the locals smile as he passed and watched the children run by him. "this seems like a fine town, this must mean that the guild here is grand." He stopped at a shop and browsed through a few books, he grabbed one and looked at the author a smile appeared on his face as he remembered the name of the Author from his family library. "i enjoyed his passed works." he said to the shop keeper. "I will take this one, thank you." he offered up some jewel and was thanked by the shop keeper. He held the in front of him and tossed it in the air, he aimed his left arm at the falling book and the ring on his left hand started to glow. "Black hole" the ring started to create a vortex pulling the book inside the black stone. once the book was swallowed the ring stopped glowing, DJ bid the shopkeeper farewell.

DJ made his was closer to the guild when he saw that there seemed to be a disturbance in front of the train station. he stood around looking to see if there was any way to help. he saw that an older man was talking to a young woman but for the most part the situation seemed to be under control. He left the scene and continued walking tword fairy tail. As he got closer he saw some children playing in the street pretending to cast spells at each other. he smiled as they pretended to be enchanted and would come back with amazing magic counters. As DJ passed he chuckled loud enough for the children to hear him, one of the children pointed a twig at him and yelled out "NOBODY laughs at the future of Fairy Tail!!" He pretends to cast a strong magical charm at DJ. DJ smiled and pretended to be hit with one of the childrens charms. "oh no! i've been hit." he dropped to his knees and then to the floor. "i've been vanquished by the mighty Fairy Tail wizards."

DJ smiled and got up. "sorry kids i'll make sure to show the future of Fairy Tail some respect." he winked as he walked away, the kids all waving as he made the way up the street. DJ finally made it to his destination, he stood happily in front of the grand doors. He pushed the doors open and noticed a bunch of people sitting around. He cleared his throat, "excuse me, i was looking for the master of this Guild."

"You will be my what?" Ken asked with a raised brow as he looked at the woman that approached the bar moments after the girl did, as he spoke he shifted away from her just a few inches. Not too much to make it look like he was uncomfortable, just enough to get a good amount of space between them. "Did I miss something since I sat down and you arrived next to me? I thought I was giving off this vibe of, I dont wanna talk to people~ Ya know hence why I sat at the bar and not at a table closer? Or was that hint not good enough~" A light snicker left his lips, as he failed at giving his name to the woman that asked him for it. Rather instead of answering her, he turned his attention to Eve, who continued to explain and make things clear about the guild's policies, rather than say anything about them he merely nodded showing he understood what was being said.

"Well, while that may be the case, in terms of the free food. I'll go ahead and pay for mine. Mainly because I dont care for steak, you wouldn't happen to have some kind of seafood? Or a kind of noodle dish would you?" Ken asked simply before his name was requested by the young girl. At first he didn't want to really give it, but it seemed she wouldn't give him the mark, not unless he divulged this information. There was a small bout of silence at this as he closed his eyes for a second. 'Turning a new leaf, no aliases or masks. No more hiding...this is a legal guild, its going to be fine. Softly biting the inside of his lip, he let out a small breath as he relaxed himself some. With that he gave the young girl a grin as he tilted his head to the side, so she had access to his neck, that way she could put the mark on. "Ken Tanaka, your new possible Sandstorm and Celestial mage~ Pleasure to make your acquaintance, even though I know there is a high chance I'm going to get under your skin, annnnd possibly many others as well~"

As another snicker left him, he perked up a moment when he sensed something at the door. Looking behind him, he raised a brow when he saw the blond woman enter the room. '.....Ah, she was at the train station wasn't she? Is she a member of this place?' He wondered before noticing at least two more people arriving at the guild. "Well! Seems like this guild is more popular than I was lead to believe~"

Pompey Glashion
Fairy Tail - Guild Hall

Pompey smiled in satisfaction as Eve stamped the guild's mark on her. Hopefully, this would signify the start of a new life as a new woman. "Nice to meet you Eve Galeheart." She watched Eve wrote her name in a little notepad. She explained the reason behind it and took it for what it was. "As expected. I do hope I get to meet this man soon." She then responded to the rather bitchy teen at her rear. Was he going be Mr. I don't care about anyone but myself?

"Oh, I just assumed you were shy. I didn't expect you were just some moody boy he laughs at his own quips." Pompey relaxed her smile once she realized he wore black to tell everyone he was another edgy teen and not for the fact that it was sliming and stylish. "I'm wondering if I should just become a vexation during our limited time of being apart of the same guild. Or I could just let you play cool and standoffish." She didn't bother waiting for a reply, he wasn't the type to respond anyway. If he did, it would defeat the purpose of him saying he wasn't here to talk, at least not to her.

Hearing Eve say that food was free made her smile widen and licked her lips as she thought of the thick, juicy steaks she saw earlier. "Please, Miss. Galeheart, I would love a steak with a side of fried eggs. As for my potatoes, I would like them chopped and pan-fried with plenty of salt and pepper." She hoped she wasn't asking too much of the young girl. She doubts Eve would let her cook herself. Pompey would get carried away and make more than just what she requested. "And a mug of alcohol also. A beer or something stronger will due."

Pompey then heard the doors open again and turned to see who had entered now. In the doorway, there was a young blonde, rather cute and a muscle-bound older gentleman at her side. "Ah, I Imagine the older man is this guild's leader. Is my assertion correct Miss. Galeheart?" She asked with her back turned and her attention on the two in the doorway. She didn't notice the other two that at the door as her view was obscured by the 6'5 gentleman in front of her. Pompey wouldn't ignore someone, she wasn't rude like others who walked through the door today. Pompey than realized she never got the name of the boy who was busy eating earlier. She hoped he wasn't like the other boy. No need for two bitter jerks in this guild. If that was the case, she knew there was at least one or two more that was apart of the guild.

Watching with gentle eyes, as Emilia opened the doors to the guild halls, Ivo was certainly surprised to see several people that were inside. Two who were sitting next to one of their long tables, each having a meal and a beer. And three more people next to the bar, which included Eve and the sand wizard from the train station "It certainly seems so." Ivo said back to Emilia after hearing her muse. Before he could start going over the other faces he did not know yet, someone tapped his shoulder from behind.

Turning to face the person, Ivo would find himself look at yet another young woman. She looked like she might not even be 18 yet, and yet there was something that immediately caught his attention. Her eyes. Hearing her ask if this was Fairy Tail, Ivo ignored his initial instinct to simply nod "It is. Would you like me to escort you to a seat, miss?" He asked, sounding polite and caring before briefly turning to look at Emilia "You can feel free to approach the young girl at the bar and tell her what you want as breakfast. She is the guild hall caretaken, and she is a fantastic cook. I will join you in a moment or two." Ivo kept speaking with the care and politeness, but there was also a bit of promise in his tone, something to reassure Emilia.

Another man suddenly went past them, stating he is looking for the guild master. He stayed quiet for a moment before putting the blind young lady's hand on his arm, to indicate he was still very much willing to show her the way to a seat. Turning to look at the man and the people inside, he smiled "Welcome to Fairy Tail everyone! I hope that so far, those of you who waited found their wait to be a pleasant one! And those who appear to have joined," Ivo said, looking at the two people next to Eve at the Bar, who appeared to have the Fairy Tail mark "I hope the guild will be a home to you just as it is a home to me and to anyone else who seeks a home! This is guild is more than a guild! It is a Family! So I will say it one more time! Welcome to Fairy Tail!" He called out in a loud voice.

He had no idea what the people eating a meal were looking for, or what the young women and man next to him seeked either. Ivo just knew he felt determined to help each and every one as much as he could "Now if anyone wishes to speak to me, please try to not crowd me. I will give everyone time, so just bare with for a bit." He added before turning his attention to see the response of the two young women next to him.

Hearing Ken's name and introduction, Eve couldn't help but want to state he was already getting a bit under her skin. But the fact he seemed so bent on stating that made her wonder if he was taking a lot of enjoyment from doing just that, getting under peoples skin. After marking him and going back to behind the bar, Eve couldn't help but wonder what would Ivo think about the fact they now have a second celestial mage among their ranks. He would probably judge him quite harshly on how he treats his spirits, she thought as she wrote down Ken's name on the same note as before.

But before she could think further on this, Pompey had made her request for a meal, and Ken stated he would prefer some sea food "Steak, fried eggs and chopped potatoes for Pompey and trout with a side of rice wrapped in kelp for Ken." She quickly said before turning on the fire lacrima that was within the stove. Before she could begin cooking, however, the doors opened up and a blonde woman stood there. The Guild certainly seemed to be more popular today than other days, just like Ken had stated. But what brought a bigger smile to Eve's face was the man standing besides the blonde woman. The two of them appeared to talk briefly among themselves, so Eve decided to start cooking the meals for the two new members.

Glancing towards the table, it appeared that both Chuck and Quill's attention was caught by the people at the entrance, and yet Ivo had not said a word to the people inside just yet. He was talking to another person from the outside, someone who stood directly behind him and was clearly smaller than Ivo, so the person basically hid behind Ivo for the time being. His actions towards that person, however, made Eve slightly wonder. Another man passed by Ivo, stating he was looking for the Guild Master. It felt a bit funny to her, that people could just pass by their destination without even realizing it sometimes.

A moment later, however, she heard his voice. It wasn't a shout, but a call. The same call he gave to every member that joined. Realizing he must've noticed Ken and Pompey's new marks, Eve smiled as she kept on cooking, albeit more silently so Ken and Pompey could hear his words without the sizzling of the food disturbing their hearing much. She couldn't do much about the smell, but all they needed was to hear, not smell his words. Once Ivo was done speaking, Eve looked up towards the two people next to her "Welcome to Fairy Tail, you two!" She said with a big smile before returning most of her attention to cooking the food once more.

Quill Neviris

Fairy Tail Guild hall, Magnolia

And suddenly it felt like the place started becoming more crowded, for a guild that was supposed to be small. Or maybe crowded wasn't the right word for it. As the woman from before went with Eve to the bar, and they were discussing matters there and joining the guild, from what it looked like, Quill couldn't help but feel like that just seemed a bit off. He knew some guilds were strict, but just letting everyone in, without the Master even being around? It really did feel off to him.

Without any alert, the Guild doors flew open, which almost made Quill choke on a bite of steak. Turning to look, he spotted a blonde woman standing there with a very impressive looking man besides her, although he looked much older. Before either would speak up, it seemed they would talk to each other. Glancing towards Chuck, he wondered the same thing as the man who sat in front of him. Was this the Guild Master they had been waiting for?

When the man at the door spoke up, Quill felt like he got his confirmation. The man never said it directly, and yet his tone and welcoming manner spoke plenty for him. He knew it was possible he was wrong, and yet, when the man added that he will approach everyone and there was no need to crowd him, it felt even more like something a man in charge, who knew they were sought out, would say.

Turning back to the table, Quill put his fork and knife down "Think that's the Guild Master? He never stated it clearly." He asked Chuck, raising his left eyebrow slightly.

Viera Delmonte
Fairy Tail Guild Hall

Viera let out a sigh of relief once the man confirmed her location. Seems like all she had to do was talk with the guild master now about joining. Hopefully, he wouldn't mind the fact that she couldn't see. If all the people in the guild were like this man, maybe she could make this her new home.

When the man offered to show her to a seat her first instinct was to say no, this may not be her old guild hall, but the layout shouldn't be too different. Before she could voice her thoughts, the man addressed someone beside him and she didn't feel like being rude and interrupting him. Of course, that didn't stop the man who brushed past them from making his way inside and began looking for the guild master.

It seemed that she wouldn't be the only new recruit today, hopefully, that wouldn't put a wrench in her plan to join. She was just going to talk again when the man grabbed her hand placing it on his arm before he addressed what seemed to be a crowd in the guild. His loud voice seemed to echo through the guild hall, something she normally wouldn't mind if she hadn't been standing beside him. Her hearing, while not insanely powerful, was still better than the average human making the volume of his voice was more than a little off-putting.

Thankfully she was paying attention as the man who was holding her arm seemed to be the guild master, it's a good thing she hadn't spoken yet, he may have gotten offended by her refusal, especially since he had been so kind about his offer so far. First impressions matter, after all, they tend to set the tone of how you'll be treated by the individual. Gripping the man's arm lightly and gracing him was a small smile.

"Thank you for the kind offer, Sir, I may not need it, but I appreciate it all the same." She removed her hand to quickly bump her staff into the ground and discovered that there were at least ten people altogether in the guild hall, herself included. Once she had the general layout, Viera turned back to the man. "My name is Viera Delmonte, and I was actually hoping to talk to you about the possibility of joining. You seem to already know the major concern so I don't need to explain that to you." Viera said timidly. "I'm a hard worker, and while I know it may seem iffy sending me on missions, I'm willing to prove myself so that you can eventually trust me. I may not be the strongest mage out there, but I'm far from useless, and if given the chance I won't let you down.."

Inside Fairy Tale

Chuck watched the older man talk. He had announced that he was the guild master and that who ever needed to talk with him may do so. Chuck watched one of the girls next to him hit the ground with a cane or stick, then her head would move around the room slightly. "Interesting..." Chuck said under his breath.

Chuck was started to feel old at this point. Everyone in the hall was looking to be under the age of 24. He heard Quill mention something to him but Chuck's reply was better. "He is the master so we should talk with him. I am just starting to get concern that I am the oldest person here besides the master." Chuck let out a small laugh at this.

As Chuck rose to his feet, he began to walk around the table to head over to the master. As he approached, the magic presence coming off of the master was alarming. Chuck actually stopped in his tracks for a moment which he never did. The power coming from this man was incredible. Gaining his legs back, he continued forward until he was standing infront of the master. Chuck extended his hand. "Hello, sir. Chuck Lionheart. When you are ready and able, I would like to take you up on talking with you about joining. I am a bit old fashioned so the whole, "joining up," style you have is different than what I am used to. I know that there is a couple of us needing to talk with you. Whether it be easier to address us all here or one on one is up to you obviously."

DJ was about to make his way inside when a large man addressed them all. It seemed Fairy Tail was a very popular destination today. As DJ looked around he saw all kinds of mages, some young some old. He smiled as he remembered the good old days at his old guild, a single tear fell from his left eye. He quickly wiped it away hopefully before anyone saw it, he was here for a fresh start and that large man in the middle of the room was the first step to his new life.

He made his way to where the crowd was, he did his best to not get into anyone's way. He decided it be best to not crowd the master since he did specifically ask them not to. He waited patiently for his turn and popped up from his seat, he walked up to the large man and offered his hand. "Good Day Sir, My name is Daniel James Greenwood or DJ is fine. I am a B rank Wizard from Lamia Scale. Due to a few things happening i am currently looking to join a new Guild. I was pointed into this direction by a kindly old woman who had nothing but nice things to say about the Fairy Tail wizards."

DJ smiled and looked into the master's eyes. "my title is the Support wizard thanks to my attributes up, and strengthening magic. i hope to be of use to you and your guild." He had done what he needed to do but didn't want to get in anyone else's way so once he finished his introduction he excused himself and sat at the bar near a black haired mage. "hello." he said as he sat next to the mage. "my name is DJ, are you here to join Fairy Tail too?"

The blind young woman spoke to him first. Removing her hand and bumping her staff onto the ground, Ivo summarized that must've been how she managed to get around. Improved Sensory. Certainly a useful to skill, even more so when one of your sense have been taken away from you. Listening to her words and request to join, he chuckled lightly "I suppose you haven't heard of our open door policy. It means we accept anyone, and there is no need to come ask directly from me, miss Delmonte. I won't deny you a spot in our guild, although I will wish to talk to you a bit more later on. I can see myself being a bit busy for the time being, so you should go ahead and approach the caretaker of the guild hall, Eve." Ivo told her, and looked around for a brief moment before finding Eve.

"She is currently at the bar, which are a few steps forwards, past a couple of stairs, and then few more steps to the right. Just tell her your full name and what colour you wish your guild mark to be. And where, of course." Ivo explained, still trying to be as helpful as possible, as he still couldn't have been sure how detailed her sensory capabilities had been. He took a step to the side, his foot making a clear sound that he wasn't standing in her path any longer.

Before he could turn back to the second woman, a man approached him. The man looked strong, and certainly gave off a good vibe. Seeing him take a moment before the man approached him made Ivo briefly wonder if he was menacing in anyway, or if he needed to try and keep his magic power presence from being felt so much. As the man introduced himself as Chuck Lionheart, and explained he wished to discuss a couple of matters with him, Ivo nodded, but still briefly glanced at the woman who he escorted from the train "I completely understand, Mister Lionheart. I hope you and the other person are willing to be a bit more patient before we have a proper talk. I both prefer to have one on one talks with all those who wish to join, or have joined, and I have promised the young blonde lady who arrived with me a thank you meal, for helping out in what could've been a devastating situation." He explained with an apologetic tone.

As he was wondering if he could perhaps delegate the role of explanation about the guild to Eve, the young man who arrived at about the same time as him approached him, gave him a polite and very straight forward introduction, but before Ivo could say a word himself, the young man had already excused himself and went to sit at the bar. Even if the introduction was meant to be brief and not interrupt any conversations he had, Ivo couldn't help but feel that he still interrupted him and without even giving him a chance to say anything back. Looking around, he waited to see if anyone else would approach him, or if he would be able to go sit down with the blonde lady for the promised meal, before beginning what was apparently a long round of talks.

"You know what they say, assumptions make an ass out of you and me~" Ken hummed his eyes not facing the woman that was speaking to him. At the mention of him being some moody boy, he merely kept his smirk, he didn't find any issue with how she perceived him. She could think as she wanted, he wasn't here to make friends, nor was he here to make any kind of good....ish name for himself. He came here to start over, simple as that, lie low, get strong...that was his focus, there was no reason to change it just because someone he didn't even know attempted to get on his nerves or converse with him. "Do as you will~ I'll start filling a jar with coin once I start caring~~" He mused his eyes now moving from the door of the building where he saw the flood of people come in, to the bar itself. What was going on around him wasn't of his concern, yes he listened, to a degree, but he wasn't being directly spoken to so there was no point in putting in any statement. Rather his attention went to what Eve was cooking, his stomach letting out a quiet growl, an action that reminded him he failed miserably to eat earlier this day, and ate far too little the pervious one.

No longer intending to interact with the one that introduced herself as Pompey, unless given a reason to, he started to go into a bit of a daze. By this point he was no longer listening to the others that were speaking, as he just zoned them completely out, unless of course his name was mentioned or something along those lines. Once again he opened his palm (one of which who's glove had changed from a normal black glove, to a fingerless one, that had royal purple embroidery on it), and specks of sand started to swirl around the open palm. Seconds later, small sandy figurines formed on his hand, and once more started to do simple, relaxing movements upon his palm. The figures seemed to be dancing as they took a general shape of a woman. He would have kept doing this until his food arrived, however, before that happened his attention was snapped by someone that chose to sit next to him.

Blinking a few times, the sand figure dissipated (not leaving any sand behind that could cause a mess). Rather than respond he instead looked behind himself on his back with mild confusion. "Did...Did Lyre put a sign on my back or something???" Not seeing anything on him he let out a light sigh as he now looked back at the man next to him. "Do I seem approachable or something? Or is there some kind of sign on my back that is shouting, hey talk to me, I wanna talk, I without a doubt dont want to be sitting here alone, minding my own business... ?" After asking this he rested his cheek on his closed fist, his elbow leaning on the bar, showing zero intentions of answering the others question. However, should the guy take a good look at Ken, he would see a royal purple fairy tail insignia on his neck that was fully exposed at this moment.

Viera Delmonte
Fairy Tail Guild Hall

Viera couldn't hold back her smile as she listened to the guild master. All she heard was that she was allowed to join, no real questions asked. This moment made her journey worth every rejection and door slammed in her face worth it. She was finally going to be apart of a guild where she could actually do more than cook or clean, she was going to be a real wizard.

"Thank you, you have no idea how happy and grateful I am." Viera had to restrain herself from leaping into the guild masters arms in gratitude. When he motioned to where she was to go next, she turned to walk when she felt another man's footsteps coming towards her. He was just as big as the guild master, and his magical aura was smaller but equally as impressive.

She felt him pause before walking up to the master strangely enough. Maybe the guild master was a magical anomaly, and his strength wasn't common, or maybe the guild master just looked scary. Either way, it didn't matter to her, she was finally able to do something useful with her life. But that started with her walking up to the bar counter where those three wizards were.

She bypassed the larger man and made her way towards the bar, the guild masters description and her stick guiding her beside the feminine presence. Placing her stick against the bar, she slowly shifted the empty chair back so she could hop on before she moved it closer to the counter again. Viera gave a little smile to the person beside her before she felt the air around the other occupant further down shift slightly, making her cock her head in his direction. Faint footsteps heading in their direction had her turning slightly towards this new person.

The interaction between the two wizards put a slight frown on her face, that was one way to not make any friends. Viera wondered who this Lyre person was, could it be the woman beside her, or was it someone else? Deciding to let it go, she turned to the woman beside her and smiled.

"Hi, are you Eve by any chance, the master sent me over here to get a guild mark, and hopefully some food." Not sure if she was making eye contact or not, she decided to introduce herself and hope for the best. "My name is Viera, and I'm pleased to make your acquaintance." A random thought came across her mind just as she finished speaking. "If you aren't Eve, I'm sorry, I hope I don't offend you."

Pompey Glashion
Fairy Tail - Guild Hall

Focusing on the dark-haired wizard at Pompey's side would only make her flustered. Another newcomer to the guide had approached him and received the same cold shoulder she had. Pompey slightly shook her head at the conversation and would keep her thoughts to herself. She would sit in silence until her food arrives, eating was always an enjoyable activity for her. Back in Glacier, Pompey's father would constantly advise her to do something else besides eating on her off day. He warned that one day it would all catch up with. Thinking about that always caused Pompey too chuckled, at least in private that is. Thankfully, it did all catch up with her and she knew exactly where it all went.

The girl who had entered the guild at the same time as the other newcomer had walked toward the bar. Pompey noticed she uses a staff, not as support, but to navigate the area around her. Pompey than looked into the girl's eyes and notice something off about them, as if they weren't looking anywhere particular. They were just there, just a feature of her face. Pompey hadn't yet figure out she the young girl was blind.

The girl propped her staff against the bar and took next to Pompey. As soon as she sat, the girl had already begun her introduction with a friendly smile. Pompey returned her smile and responded to her question. "No Viera..." Pompey liked the young girl's name, it was pretty like her. "Eve is busy cooking at the moment. My name, Viera, is Pompey Glashion, and no, you didn't offend me one bit." Pompey then reached her hand out and shook Viera's. She would notice Pompey had a rather plain scent. She would pick up the smell of curry on her breath and the scent of smoke and ash on her kimono.

Pompey broke eye contact with Viera once she finished shaking her hand and looked toward the staff. "May I ask why a young girl like yourself would need such a tool?" She pointed to her staff with the same hand she used for their hand handshake. "Have you suffered some type of injury? You don't appear to need it at first glance."

Dj smiled at his new friends outburst. "Im not sure who this Lyre person is but im just a people person so i tend to get along with everyone." He looked over at the girl in the Kimono. "Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier, this guy here." He pat Ken on the shoulder "looked like a tough customer so I figure I'd break the ice with him first. Im DJ."

The girl the master was talking to walked over and the girl In the Kimono revealed her name to be Pompei. Once she introduced herself DJ chimed in, "hello ms. Vierra, I'm DJ." He smiled but wondered the same thing as Pompei, so he sat back and waited on Vierra's response.

Listening to the others as she kept on cooking, Eve felt pretty cheerful now. Even if they were new members, and she didn't know them well enough just yet, it still felt a lot better than being in the hall all by herself. Glancing up briefly, she saw Chuck moving in to approach Ivo. Seeing him suddenly stop made her wonder if Chuck wasn't prepared to meet someone of Ivo's caliber. She knew the master was strong, but she never knew how strong he was. He never agreed to take the Magic Power Indicator test.

Turning her gaze back to the food, Eve kept listening to those around her. She quickly heard a new voice, and glancing up, she saw someone sat next to Ken. Giving him a smile, she finished preparing both meals for Ken and Pompey, and arrange them on plates while one of the two young women who were next to Ivo arrived, took a seat next to Pompey and asked if she was Eve. Staying quiet for a moment, she placed the cooked trout and rice balls wrapped in kelp in front of Ken, before moving a bit to the side and putting the steak, fried eggs and chopped potatoes in front of Pompey "Bon Appetite, both of you!" She told them before taking another step to the side, looking at Viera.

"As mentioned, she isn't Eve, but I am. Pompey over here is a fresh recruit, and you said the master sent you to get your guild mark and some food, right?" Eve summarized, grabbing a hold of the stamp "I'll need to know three things then, Viera. First, what colour you would like your mark to be. Second, where on your body. And third, what you'd like to eat." Eve said, walking to outside of the counter once more, with her hands ready to set the mark on whatever colour the young lady was going to request.
While she was a bit wondering the same as Pompey, she felt as though things could be taken one step at a time.[/fieldbox]

Viera Delmonte
Fairy Tail Guild Hall

Viera nodded as the woman introduced herself as Pompey instead of Eve. The woman had a strange accent, it didn't sound like anything she had ever heard before. She wondering if this woman was from a place with spicy food as the scent of something with chilli and a bunch of new spices that she couldn't identify. The men at Slyph Labyrinth were simple folk, Meat and potatoes, only salt for flavouring. While it made her life easy, it was pretty damn boring, so with her meals, she would spice things up a little, nothing drastic, just enough to actually enjoy the food.

She also got a very smokey and ashy smell coming from the woman beside her, reminding her of a campfire rather than the cigarette smell she often caught on her brother's clothes. Her train of thought cut off as the woman shook her hand out of the blue. She honestly should have expected it, seeing as how they just introduced themselves, but it still caught her off guard a little.

Hoping that the other woman wouldn't notice her slight hesitation, he gripped her hand firmly and shook. "Nice to you Pompey, sorry again for mixing you and Eve up." One of the first things the men taught her was to always have a firm handshake, a weak one gives the impression that you are submissive, and that the other person will have all the power, too tight, and your trying to hard, a nice solid one shows you not backing down, and that you can work on even ground together.
She felt the chair shift as the man came up to the bar, turned towards her and patted the gentleman beside him on the shoulder. Viera didn't like being touched without warning, and she didn't know him well enough to even imagine what the grumpy kid would be feeling. Giving a sympathetic smile, she turned to in the direction of Dj, her face upturned towards his voice. "It's nice to meet you too."

The sound of two plates being placed on the table caught Viera's attention, making her mouth water slightly. She could smell the steak, potatoes, and if her nose wasn't deceiving her, fried eggs coming from the closest plate. The scent of pan-seared trout and an abundance of rice made her regret skipping breakfast that morning. Whoever cooked this was an amazing chef, and Viera couldn't wait to ask the chef for a recipe and hopefully a few lessons.

The chef turned out to be Eve and Viera could smell the slight smell of fish closer to the bar, so she assumed that was probably her hands. As the third person introduced themselves she was feeling slightly overwhelmed but maintained her composure. She has dealt with bigger crowds, this was nothing.

Viera cocked her head slightly at Pompey's pointed question, at what she could only assume was her staff. Her second question caused Viera to tense slightly. That's kind of a rude thing to ask, she didn't even buy me dinner first. She inwardly shook her head before straightening up in her chair.

"Oh, this old thing?" She asked grabbing her staff. "My older brother gave this to me when I was pretty young. I was raised in the treasure hunter guild Sylph Labyrinth. It's quite normal for us to train using various magical items to help us on her various hunts. My brother didn't like the idea of me using anything too dangerous, so I got stuck with the staff." She paused and moved her head to "look" at each of the wizards. "But that's not what your asking is it? You want to know if I'm blind or not? Well, let me just say there are more subtle ways to ask."
"A you can see from my dull brown eyes and the fact I'm probably not making eye contact with any of you. Yes. I am blind. I have been for as long as I can remember. According to my brother, I was just born this way, but people around town mentioned some kind of incident when I was a baby. I don't actually know what happened, and when I asked my brother he refused to say anything. So, I'm kind of stuck in a limbo that way, sorry to disappoint you all with a non-tragic backstory."

Viera turned towards the woman who smelled like food. "To answer your questions since I've never really seen a colour before, I guess I'll let you decide on one unless anyone else wants to step up and choose, I don't mind. As to the location, I guess my lower abdomen on the right-hand side. And if I'm being honest, I will literally eat anything, so you don't need to go out of your way, I'm sure whatever you make will be delicious, going by the smell of the other two meals."
Viera moved her head back to Pompey at that point and sighed before looking at her. "Sorry about how rude I was with your questions, I'm a little sensitive about. It's not right to take my anger out on you and I apologize. You didn't deserve that, you were only curious, and I overreacted. I truly am sorry."

Fairy Tail Mage
Location: Guild Hall

The second the man's hand touched Ken's shoulder, the sand mage reacted, and not in a kind manner. With the hand that wasn't supporting his head, he swatted the other's hand away from him, his eyes gazing down at the other with an icey glare. "I dont know where you came from, that makes you think its fine to just touch someone who's name you dont even know. But dont ever touch me unless I say you can. Do so, without my permission again, and any hopes you have of getting along with everyone, namely me, will vanish in a flash." Though his voice was calm, it was piercing, not only that, but with the way he was looking at DJ, it was easy to tell that Ken was looking down at him.

It wasn't until the food was brought to the bar did Ken shift his harsh gaze to a softer one. Now turning his attention to the steaming plate before him, he licked his lips as he removed his cheek from his fist. Just taking one small whiff of the meal made his stomach cry out audible growls of joy. "Finally~ Something that smells tasty~ Been a few days since i had a meal that didnt want me to puke at the first bathroom I crossed~Thanks." He hummed as he took his wallet and opened it. Fishing out some cash he placed about the amount the meal cost on the bar, after doing so he closed his wallet and placed it in his pocket before smirking. "Yes yes, first meal is free, just take the cash, I dont want a free meal if I dont need it." After saying this, he thought about leaving the bar to go eat elsewhere. After all, it was getting rather crowded, and he didn't enjoy being in the presence of at least one of the people there. Still, he had been here first, and it wasn't like him to move just because some people were annoying him. Besides, surely the man that touched him earlier, and the woman that spoke to him, would have a clear message by now. So, picking up some utensils he started to eat his food.

As he did so, he couldn't help but hear the girl speak next to him, clarifying something that was rather evident to anyone. Personally, he felt her anger and defensiveness was justified. Having to explain something that should already be obvious was never fun, not to mention when it came a disability like what she had. It was likely she had to explain it to many people, and it wouldn't be surprising if the constant explaining was out right annoying to her by this point. "Psh, dont see why you are apologizing so much. To me seems like you got every reason to be on the more annoyed side of life. Here you are trying to join a guild, and then some stranger brings up a sensitive topic with barely any consideration on how you may feel about said topic. Not your fault she couldn't get the most obvious hint. to ever hint" He muttered, his eyes on the food rather than anything. Sure, he wasn't invested in their conversation, but still, it was hard for him to not put his input in.

Pompey Glashion
Fairy Tail - Guild Hall
Pompey gave a simple wave to DJ with a smile. "Greeting DJ. I see you and moody boy over there are going to become fast friends." She then snickered, imitating the black-haired wizard. Eve then returned with two plates of food. As soon as her plate was set down in front of her, Pompey dug into her steak with her fork and knife. She sliced a piece off and picked it up with her fork. She placed it in her mouth and took in the juicy flavor and tender texture of her steak. "Oh yes! I'll surely love it here with this kind of cooking."

Viera then responded to Pompey's question, confirming her suspicions. Viera reaction was somewhat hostile, maybe rightly so. Pompey knew it might have been the best to not ask here, but she wanted to know for sure and didn't regret asking. Pompey relaxed her smile after Viera told her about the staff's origins and went on to the topic of her blindness. The cause for her dull eyes was not clear to Viera, and this far along, it didn't matter. Pompey left it at that and wouldn't bother inquiring about her condition any further.

As Pompey continued to stuff her fat face, she heard an apology from Viera. Before she could respond, the moody boy had chosen to comment. Pompey turned his way and smiled at him. "For someone who would rather not speak to anyone, your choosing to comment. Eat your meal like a good boy and commit to playing the lone wolf, okay?" She glared at him before turning back to Viera. He wasn't wrong, Pompey could admit it was rude, but It would have come out eventually so why not ask? "No need to apologize Viera, as I won't either. Constantly explaining this." She had turned back to Viera and placed another piece of steak in her mouth. "I will say this, you are brave for coming all this way to join Fairy Tail. The trip here must have been full of dangers." Pompey broke her eye contact with Viera once again to shove an egg into her mouth. She bit down on the egg and warm yolk flooded her mouth. "Yum Yum! This food is truly something else." The food was simply perfect.

Pompey than looked back at Viera. "When a bandit sees someone with a disability such as yourself, they assume you'll be an easy target." She giggled before continuing. "The look on their face when they found out the opposite." Pompey has had a few occasions where bandits tried to rob her or worse. They always left regretting it and received some disfiguring burns on top of it. "Anyone who ever tried to rob me should be thankful they're not dead." Pompey considered herself a sweet soul, but her cruelty at times was something else. "In my time in Fiore, I've earned the title 'Witch Of Smoking Cinders.' It sounds scary I know, but as long as your a good person you have nothing to fear of me." Pompey continued to down her food, waiting for Viera's reply. She didn't take her time eating it, she was already more than halfway finished.

Viera Delmonte

Fairy Tail Guild Hall

Viera turned towards the grumpy one, as she now labelled him in her mind, chose to pipe up. He was snarky, she would give him that, but his reactions to the other wizards gave her a little amusement. He did have a point, she had a rough go at life, but being bitter didn't solve anything.

"I apologized because I am in the wrong here. As you said, we are strangers, she wouldn't have known that its a testy subject for me, but she does now. Sure, I could be annoyed or bitter towards her for not knowing any better, but what good would that do? If I alienated myself from everyone who asks about it, it would make my already lonely life even lonelier. If I chose to focus on all the bad in my life, I wouldn't see any of the good. Like now, for instance, I don't need to explain myself to at least five people, five separate times. I did it all in one go, and I'm guessing that it will get around the guild pretty fast. If anyone chooses to question me further than I'm comfortable, then it's their own fault if I smack them."

"And like you said, I just joined a new guild that doesn't mind the fact that I am blind whatsoever, so this has been a pretty good day so far. Plus the food here smells delicious, all in all, I have more things to be happy about than I do to be mad or angry. But that's just how I choose to go about life. Also, I wouldn't say that It's obvious, I mean one of the guys back at my old guild constantly forgot I was blind half the time. Most people on the streets don't know, I've gotten pretty good at navigating around without help."

Viera patted her stick with an old familiarity.
"Plus I got this old girl, and my other four senses to make up for the one. For instance, I could feel the air shifting earlier while you were using your magic, add the fact that the moisture around you seemed to evaporate as the gentle taps of something light making contact with the counter; I can hazard a guess that you were either playing with sand or dirt. I may be blind, but it's far from a detriment. Also on a side note, you have a very pleasing scent, it's not often I come across a male who smells like lavender. Most men smell like sweat and musk, so it's a nice change to not be overwhelmed by body odour."

Viera mostly said the last bit to mess with the grump. He needed to loosen up a little, and if she had to act like an idiot or a crazy person, well, she would gladly play the part. Judging from his mannerisms so far, Grump was a lone wolf, sarcastic and a bit of an asshole... well, maybe more than just a bit. Although his words were sharp, she couldn't help but feel like there was more to him than the Jerkish persona he was showing.
She tried to hide her amusement, she really did, but a smile graced her face. She really hoped that Grump wouldn't mind her teasing, because she was being honest, she did like how he smelled. If he got offended, she could just apologize later if he ever let her near him again.

Pompey's voice had Viera turning towards her again. Although her words sounded sweet, she could hear the slightly bitter tone under them. Seems like Grump wasn't well liked at the moment. Listening to Pompey speak, Viera nodded along with what she was saying, but couldn't help but disagree on some things.

"It's not actually all that brave, I visited a few guilds before this and was laughed out the door by many based either on my eyes or my magical abilities. I should have come here first, but I just went where the train took me half the time. I suppose I'm lucky in the fact that I haven't encountered any bandits so far, but I'll keep that in mind." Pompey's sweet but violent nature towards violence kind of scared her. She had heard whispers about the woman back home, but never thought she would ever meet her face to face. It did explain the smokey scent coming from her though, so she didn't have to worry about the woman smoking around her.

"I will make sure to keep that in mind, remind me to never get on your bad side," Viera said with a laugh that was mostly real, with a hint of fear. "I don't think anyone will be calling me anything but my name just yet, I have a long ways to go before I'm anywhere near your level of infamy. But I am pleased to make your acquaintance and I hope to learn many things from you." Viera paused for a moment then let her smile widen. "I hope to learn from everyone here, to be apart of a family who has each other's backs, that's all I've ever wanted. Now, are those eggs really as good as they smell?"

When DJ's hand was slapped away instead of getting mad or upset he simply smiled. "You're right, I apologize. But I gotta say your attitude is just like one of my dear friends in my old guild. He was gruff and preferred to be alone too but judging from your speech to Ms. Vierra it's clear you care about people just like him." He smiled at Ken, "just you watch soon we're going to be good friends."

The discussion was calming down so he decided he'd introduce himself to Eve. "Hello, Eve was it. I see you're busy but I'd like to Introduce myself as DJ a B rank wizard interested in joining Fairy tail. I introduced myself to the master earlier but he was super busy so i just gave him a quick summary. As my old guild master put it. Anyways when you get a chance I'd like to know how I can sign up." He then looked at Vierra "Oh by the way If you don't mind the suggestion i'd go with a gold color for your fairy tail emblem. It'll match your eyes."

DJ looked at the girl in the Kimono, Pompei was her name. So she was the witch of smoking cinders. She really didn't look or behave like the stories said she would as far as DJ saw she just seemed like a normal girl. "So Pompei you have a title, that must mean your a pretty high rank. Do you mind if I ask how high?" He smiled as he looked her in her eyes waiting to see just how strong his new teammates were.
