Faeries are eternal, once a Faerie, you may NEVER regain your mortality, and are immortal.
Faeries rely on their court to thrive and survive, even the solitary and more powerful faeries
A regent of one of the courts is a physical embodiment of that season, and thus-such, shows the traits through their outer appearance.
All Faeries are magical and have mild to major abilities
The Summer and Winter Courts are fated opposites (so can be said for the High Court and the Dark Court)
Solitary Fae may give their allegiances to Earthen Realm Courts if they so choose, however, they are apart of Faerie, and therefore, apart of the High Court, regardless of being "Solitary".
The High Court lives within the realm of Faerie - a pocket dimension within the Earthen realm, ruled by the High King and Queen
Everything was originally created by the High Court Regents
Personifications/Embodiment's MUST have an opposite (ex. War and Order)
A Court DOES NOT need to have two regents in order to function, however, two means a more powerful court, and therefore, a stronger court.
All Faeries have the ability to don a "glamour" - allowing them to be seen by regular mortals eyes and blend in to the Earthen Realm
Faeries are DEATHLY allergic to steel and iron - sighted humans are often pierce to the nines to deter regular faeries. Regents of courts are not affected by iron, though it doesn't send a buzz down their spines whenever near it.
Faeries CANNOT lie - however, if they believe their lie true in the depths of their souls, there is a way around this law.
Faeries are not born, they are created. As such, they cannot birth children, only adopt, or request creation.

The Summer Court is located in the Earthen Realm - Hunstdale, to be more specific. It is a court reflecting frivolity, fun, and pleasure. The regent (or regents) of the Summer Court hold sway over the Earthen Realms "Summer" season, basking in the warm glows of the sun, and all the planets beauty - with a little faerie magick thrown in.
The King and Queen of the Summer Court are in-charge of working as a unison pair, both in love and trust, in order to bring the daze that is summer.
Endowed with the physical manifestation that is summer itself, these faeries outer appearances are often dazzling to mortals and fey alike.
The King and Queen of the Summer court are known to glow with the suns radiance, whilst the court faeries are said to be wrapped in living vines, with bark skin, to crystal-red eyes.
THE SUMMER KING
The Summer King is a temperamental, fiery, hot-headed, passionate individual. Never without the company of his Queen, the Summer King feels more connected to his season when tethered to his beloved. The intense passion he holds within him brings the Summer Court to a thriving stand-point of authority in the warm days of the year. Even when Winter rolls around, and the King and Queen of Winter take hold of control on the Earthen Realm, the King refuses to falter, staying strong, and fending off the cold where he can.
THE SUMMER QUEEN
Loving, stubborn, and passionate much like her King, the Summer Queen keeps the temperamental outbursts of her lover at bay, as often as she can. With passion comes patience, whether the futile and frivolous season of summer wants it or not. The Summer Queen focuses on logic over turbulent emotions, keeping the Summer Court in check. She regularly makes sure her thriving court are sheltered and taken care of well enough, to resemble the standard that is the Summer Court.
THE SUMMER ADVISER
The adviser is much like a brother/sister to the Summer Court, a faerie with only the best wishes for the Court itself, as well as the King and Queen, and their faeries. However, though the adviser constantly has this attitude in place, they are often viewed as closed-off from the bounding energy that is the Summer Court. After all, someone needs to keep those party-crazy Faeries in check.
SUMMER GIRLS
Often seen as temptresses, the Summer Girls were previous reincarnations of the Summer Queen. They must always be close to the King and Queen of Summer in order to survive, and on occasion, some get a little TOO close to the regents themselves. The Summer Girls are depicted to living art - some with wild, living vines that wrap around their entire bodies, snaking in and out of crevases, while some are said to be as beautiful and radiant as the current Queen herself, with nothing more than a glow that would blind the best. There is rumor that some Summer Faeries exist, made not of human flesh and bone, but of elements - water, earth, bark, things of that nature.
The Summer girls are party-animals, feeling the need to move and celebrate on constant occasion, however, when any other season rolls around, more specifically, Winter; the Summer Girls more often than not, loose their 'spice'.
The Winter Court thrives on detachment, isolation and the biter twist of emotions that courses through all Fey and Human alike. Once upon a time, the Mother of the Summer King ruled this Court - she was cold, bitter, angry, and vicious, these days, the Winter Court is ruled by secluded regents, those which only show their presence when needed or ask. Often, the Winter Court aligns itself with the Dark Court, finding the corrupt needs of the Dark Court to it's liking, for Darkness is as cold as the Winters' winds. The Faeries that inhabit this kingdom are secretive, manipulative, and easily slaves to the King and Queen - the Winter Court is not a place for the warmth, as a single touch will turn your heart cold.
THE WINTER KING
Shockingly caring for a Winter regent, the Winter King was once an adviser to the High Court. He was exiled from Faerie on the command of the High King and Queen in penance for attempting procreation with the Dark Court whilst under the High Courts ruling. Upsetting the King and confirming the Queen's suspicions, the Winter King was banished and forced to eternally rule the cold and unforgiving Winter Court. Locked to this Court for the rest of time, the Winter King still finds himself thinking back to his times in Faerie, that is, when he isn't trying to reign in his Queen's wicked temper.
THE WINTER QUEEN
Tempermental and angry, the Winter Queen rules with a silent fist. Few have heard her cold, chill-inducing voice, however, it is said one moment you find yourself in her company, the next, you find yourself in your grave. The Winter Queen is a volatile Faery with enormous amounts of power at her fingertips. She often strays from Winters given time in the Earthen-realm, trying to prolong her beloved season as often as possible. In the past, previous incarnations of the Winter Queen found themselves aligning with the Dark Court and it's regents.
THE WINTER ADVISER
The Winter Court adviser has gone by a few names over the centuries, regardless of who is has actually been the adviser themselves. Devil's advocate comes to mind when thinking of the Winter Court adviser. They are as much helpful as the Sun is a dark star. Like a crow a top the Queens shoulder, the adviser eggs the regent on to persue the darker things, and make her court stronger. Constantly arguing with the King, the Winter Court adviser is not to be trusted by those of good heart.
THE WINTER GIRLS
A sad and forgotten group of girls, the Winter Girls are previous sighted humans, now turned Fey, that once underwent the excruciating transformation of attempting to become Winter Queen. To take the Ice Queen (Winter Queens) staff in hand is a dangerous task, and very little attempt it - most wish for the outcome to be good, to become the next Winter Queen, however, few mortals survive the true Winter Queens power. These girls are subsequently brought (un-willingly) into the world of Fey by the tricky Winter Queen. They hold little power, enough to manifest snowflakes and frost-bite a mortals skin, and are quite often found sulking in the Winter Courts gardens
Filled to the brim with all things dastardly, tempting and shadow-cased, the Dark Court is currently the second most powerful Court in all the realms, should it soon receive it's shadow girl, perhaps may even serve as a challenge to the High Court. Unlike the High Court, which prides itself on Order, Truth, Emotion and Rules - the Dark Court throws those traits into the gutter where it believes they belong. Ruled by the dangerous couple of Darkness, this tempting, seductive, shadowy Court would scare even the bravest of Faeries - let alone a dim-witted mortal seeking immortality. Though most courts thrive on the connectivity of their King and Queen (explaining the Winter Queens strength, and Kings weakness), the Dark Court doesn't rely on it's regents finding love between each other, let alone friendship - they are simply their to offer power to the other, and who they bed is of little interest. Faeries of the Dark Court are creatures of nightmares, some with tusks like woolly mammoths protruding off their faces, others, like the Ly Ergs with bloodied hands and the need to resemble vampiric human lore. Many solitary Fey find allegiance in the Dark Court - it's shadowy alcoves perfect areas to hide from site. War, being one of the more predominant and dangerous solitary Fey, calls this place their home. Faeries of the Dark Court can easily feel and absorb human and fey emotion - all Faeries of the Dark Court have this ability.
THE DARK KING
Unlike the loving and kind Winter King, the Dark King thrives on the delinquent atrocities of the Earthen-Realm. Known for his seductive tendencies, and violent habits, the Dark King is a regent fit for War, and feared by many. Some consider this man to be secretive in nature, though he comes off as closed and guarded, his plans are often out in the open for all to see - if you look hard enough. He does not respect the term monogamy, finding and bedding anything that catches his eye, including his little Shadow Girl; the source of the Dark Courts immense power.
THE DARK QUEEN
A tempting seductress cast in shadow figures, moving with the grace of the suns opposite. The Dark Queen revels in her Courts power, feeding off the emotions of turbulent mortals and disturbed faeries. Like the Shadow Girl, the Dark Queens priority lies in sustaining her courts appetite - that being the emotions of the damned and downed. However, seeing as she, much like her King, is tasked with controlling the corrupt faeries in her court, and keeping a leash on War (lest they cause a global catastrophe), she is rarely able to take a moments time to filter the source of life for her Court, to the king - therefore, relying, yet envying the Shadow Girl.
THE DARK ADVISER
A rare appearance is made by this shadow of a faery. They often hide and approach the Dark Court in times of need, working with other Courts to maintain the Dark Courts status of control and power. Often seen cajoling minor faeries or bloodying humans (As the Dark Court does), this adviser is more so an agent of war. Should the Dark regents request the death of another, the Dark Court adviser is happy to find another willing to accept the job, while still keeping behind the scenes control of the politics and anarchy inside the Dark Court.
THE SHADOW GIRL
She is the power of the Dark Court - without her, this imposing court stands little to no chance of claiming victory in any battle, let alone holding the position of "second strongest court". The Shadow girl is a mortal-turned-fey, that was once upon a time, trapped, by the Dark Kings seducing aura. She was bedded and connected with the Dark King by physical body ink - completed by a half-faery/half-mortal known as "Rabbit", who runs the Earthen-realm tattoo shop "Pins N' Needles". The Shadow Girls body is a conductor for human and faerie emotions. She is connected to the Dark King, just as the Dark Queen is connected by spirit. Shadow-tendrils latch these two together, and the Dark King drains the power collected in the shadow-girls body, using it to nourish the Dark Court, causing her to be but a shallow husk of lost humanity.
THE HOUNDS
The Hounds are a group of Dark Court mercenaries that haunt the nightmares and dreams of children within the Earthen-realm. Run by their lead hound (known as Gabriel/Gabrielle) and near blood relative to the Dark King, the hounds are known for their brutal killing tactics and seedy side-activities. The Hounds themselves are true creatures of nightmare, resembling monsters from the deep, horned, bloodied, and torn apart from years of service to a once depraved court. They are able to cast glamours like all other faeries, however, their glamours are slightly different. They become machines of immense dismay that taunt and tempt even the strongest of solitaries and regents. The Gabriel/Gabrielle, however, has enough control over their abilities to cajole these wild beasts and lead the intense pack into battle, giving them the ability to only glamorize as a human. The Gabriel/Gabrielle is trusted more so by the King of Darkness than the Dark Court Adviser themselves.
The High Court lives and breathes within a realm of it's own, known as Faerie. It is the birthplace of everything; all that is, and all that will be. Tied to these lands are the Turbulent King and Unchaining Queen - immortal opposites, destined to spend the rest of their eternal lives together. The land of Faerie is everything and nothing, it is whatever the King and Queen wish it to be, and whatever they demand. Old faeries find peace here, it is as Unchanging as the Queen herself, and kept interesting by the King. Should one regent ever wish to step into the Earthen-Realm, one must stay behind, forever entwined by the silver-threads of fate that crawl throughout the land of Faerie. It is here that life is started, Courts are created, and Wars are waded. The High Courts Kingdom is refuge to those solitary that do not wish to belong in the Earthen-Realm - as all Faeries are born from the High Court, solitaries, though they choose not to publicly follow a specific court, do belong underneath the rule of the High King and Queen.
THE HIGH KING/THE TURBULENT KING
Known for his ever-changing emotions and constant unsettled state, the High King is an opponent worthy of careful thought and deduction. It is never truly known what this powerful Faery shall do next, however, that is the curse that comes with being turbulent, as even the King himself doesn't know. He rules the land of Faerie with his Queen, and much like her, is bound to the land and all it's properties. He holds the same powers as the Queen, and thrives from the longevity of the High Courts lifespan. Constantly at odds with the High Courts adviser (Bloodied Hands), the King sees himself as more of a figure head of authority and someone to look up to, not someone ready to rule over realms.
THE HIGH QUEEN/THE UNCHANGING QUEEN
Unlike her counterpart, the High Queen is predictable in her actions, thus earning her the name that has been centuries known "The Unchanging Queen". Her methodical ways ware heavily on the King, seeing as he is her opposite, yet together they find unison and unite the High Court. She is beauty personified, elegant and regal, able to bring a faery to their knees, or at least, those willing to respect her title. However, even with the power at her and her Kings fingertips, they are easily distracted by the opposite of each other, her need to stay the same, always the same, and his need to be changing, forever.
HIGH COURT ADVISER/BLOODIED HANDS
Should a mercenaries name ever be feared, it'd be the name given to the adviser of the High Court. A blood brother to both the King and Queen of the High Court by existence, the High Court Adviser is known to complete some rather dastardly tasks at the Queens request, and get into some rather interest quarrels with the King. Should the need to have the strings of Fate slightly altered ever arise, the High Court is equipped with one of the many realms most deadly assassins and Faeries.
A vast majority of solitary faeries live among the hustle and bustle of the rather gloomy Huntsdale. Solitaries find their home, constantly nomadic in nature and easily adapting to new situations. With any solitary faery, they may develop an allegiance or attachment to a specific court - those to old for the Modern day courts may find homage in the vast lands of Faerie with the High King and Queen. Among the solitary faeries live mixtures of faery races either banished from their homes, or ones that have left of their own will. The solitary faeries tend to stick to themselves, only accepting the help other courts offer, rather than asking. If they are offered shelter, they take it without question but will never beg. A solitary rules their own territory underneath the High Court, as do all other courts, seeing as the High Court is the epitome of creation.
KING OF THE SOLITARIES
The adoptive son of both High King and High Queen, once mortal, now Fey - the most powerful walking Solitary of them all - stronger than Love, Hatred, Order and on par with War. Given the ability to alter reality withing the realm of Faerie to an extent, he also possesses the gift of seeing Faery and Mortal "fate" strings, much like the King and Queen (his parents). Ruling the Solitary Fey slightly contradicts the term solitary, however, some do require the care of a regent - which lies on the Kings shoulders.
WAR
The ultimate embodiment of War. Encounters with this devious, blood-lusting creature is the least wise of paths among many. Their ultimate goal is to cause destruction and chaos - to roll and stew in the dead bodies of a battle field. In previous depictions, War is said to be represented as a demon - however, in it's current embodiment, it plays the game as a Faerie of solitary status with strong allegiances to whoever will give the blasted damnation it's war. This embodiment is said to be the High Queens lost sister and true opposite, otherwise known as discord. War's close surroundings echo the sound of pounding battle drums. They are able to manifest illusions of death and destruction and are never truly satisfied with anything. War often fights with the regents of the High Court, and tempts those of the Earthen-Realm courts.
ORDER
Said to be made with the High Queen's ideals and logic in mind. Order lives in the Earthly-realm as a strong and powerful solitary faery, often clashing and crossing paths with War. These two are seen as polar opposites and often connected to the mother of Faerie herself. Order, however, pleases those of all courts, keeping everything...in, well.. order. Often portrayed as a Wicca deity during past lives , Order is known to be a rather silent and judgmental individual. They are often found within Faerie, seeking the order and piece the King and Queen provide.
LOVE
Often allied with the frivolous and abundant Summer Court, the solitary Faery of love can be found bringing joy and adornment to all courts, even the Dark Court. Though often remembered as annoying and childish, the embodiment and Faery of Love finds them self offering love to those of different courts, even after being told to stay away - more specifically by the Winter and Dark court. They are a close ally with the Summer King and High King, sometimes a lover of sorts. Though love is known by many names, it's current body doesn't produce lust, but more love of the heart, and eternal love at that. Love's opposite is Hatred.
HATRED
Disgust, anger, wrath and sin are all parts of this Faeries persona'. Though many would easily assume Hatred a close ally of War, the two distaste each other, mostly because of the lack of power each would have if they shared their grand prize. Unlike War, Hatred's ultimate goal is to cause widespread misery and anger throughout the Kingdom of Faerie and the Earthen-city of Huntsdale. Crows are often found around both hatred and war, flocking to the darkest and most powerful thing they can. This embodiment is solitary, under the High Courts name, with it's opposite being Love.

LOCATION DESCRIPTIONS
CITY CENTER
The hub of Huntsdale offering shops such as Rabbit's famous Pins N' Needles, Comix Connections, and multitudes of retail clothing shops. It is fashioned with a large, prominent hotel stacked beyond the clouds with levels right-dab in the center of the city. Encircling the hotel is a large basin of water, often littered with coins of minimal value by interested tourists and Huntsdale residents.
PINS N' NEEDLES
An infamous shop owned by Rabbit and managed by his sisters Natasha and Anna, popular with the more grungy teens and younger metal/punk adults. He offers illustrious and daunting tattoos, some with meaning behind them even famous artists can't decipher. Rabbit often tattoos the Dark Courts newest Shadow Girl, infusing the blood of the Dark Court and of the Dark King within a tattoo.
REALM OF FAERIE
Hidden within plane site, the realm of Faerie and the High Court can be accessed through moonlit veils, often found in hotel rooms on the highest level of the center standpoint of Huntsdale's city center. Unseeable by the human eyes, or even sighted eyes, the realm of Faerie is filled with breathtaking visions and landscape indescribable with mere words.
HUNTSDALE HIGH
Home to over 2000 High-school students, Hunstdale High is one of the many learning faculties of Hunstdale itself, however, this nifty little school seems to find itself pack to the brim with more than an average amount of Sighted Humans.
HUNTSDALE GENERAL LIBRARY
A solitary and safe place for those wishing to be alone. When the faery world becomes to much, many regents and court fey can be found here, engrossed in piles upon piles of books. This Library is equipped with nearly every category of book one could desire, as well as state of the art computers for research and many comfortable lounge areas.
BOOTLEG PUB AND BILLIARDS
If an establishment could ever be considered family, this would be where family came to gather. Bootleg Pub and Billiards is a private business owned by Ed and Francina Clask, and has often been regarded as a safe and entertaining place. The two treat every customer like their own flesh and blood, being sure to offer Grade A service - it isn't a shock to walk into this place and find anything by Limp Bizket playing.
ABANDONED TRAIN YARD
In the Eastern Outskirts of Huntsdale lays an abandoned train yard. Once connected to a large trading highway that used trains as transportation, is now a shutdown and often populated area for how abandoned it is. Many solitary Fae and even some humans have converted old train carts into livable homes. Those with the sight, prefer this location to any regular Huntsdale home as it is littered with steel and iron, a Faeries worst enemy.
GRAVEYARD
Just off the point of Huntsdales North-East corner is the Hunter Fields Cemetery. This place sees little to no people, some afraid of the frightening lore that surrounds the place, others with no deceased to speak of - or little to no interest in visiting them. It is said moonlit veils to the realm of Faerie can sometimes be found here, hidden away in mausoleums.
HUNTSDALE APARTMENTS
On the West side of Huntsdales city center are often overlooked apartments. Here, most students from the highschool who have no home to call "home", live. The apartments themselves are rather run-down on both the inside and outside, say for one, which looks and seems to stand out against the rest. Here is where the Summer King once met his beloved Queen of past life, and from their presence intertwined in the building itself, cast an illuminating glow that never left the regular build of drywall and roof.
SUMMER COURT GARDENS
Owned and controlled by the illustrious Summer Court, this park officially belongs to the city itself, however in the world of Faerie (not the realm, but as a general thing) the Summer Court holds reign over this park. Reconstituting it as "The Summer Court Gardens" both the King and Queen of Summer often find themselves celebrating here, getting drunk off of summer wine. Summer Girls are most noticeably always here, luring in innocent men and women of the mortal world to their pleasures and practices.
ABOHEEL'S FOUNTAIN
Center to the Summer Court Gardens, the Summer Faery Aboheel calls this fountain home. She is often found frolicking within the fountain and is known to occasionally shift into the form of water itself, spinning around in dizzying spirals within the blessed waters of the fountain. Though her goals are not unlike the Summer Girls, Aboheel finds herself luring in mortals to this fountain all the same. It stands at three basins high with fountains in between each bowl, stemming off in four separate directions. Aboheel herself adorns the top, spiting water playfully at passer-by's.
HUNTINGTON'S RIVER
Bordering the Summer Court Gardens as well as the Winter Courts home, the Huntington's River runs for a few extensive miles. It is known to be of resting spot for the Winter Court Fey, and a favourite of mortals for goofing off in both Summer and Winter.
LOVERS BRIDGE
Love is often found upon this bridge placed a top the Huntington's River. It is said that upon visitation many eons ago, the King and Queen of the High Court shared a kiss here; however, that is mere speculation. Today, the bridge is a popular location for marriage proposals as well as young-love and first kisses.

Rabbit is half fey, half human. He lives in the mortal realm with his sisters, Natasha and Anna, and also runs the very popular and often fey-visited "Pins N' Needles Tattoo Shop. All of his life, Rabbit has looked after his sisters, seeing as his Mother was constantly at the Dark Kings side as The Gabrielle. He often finds himself resenting her for deserting him and both his half faery sisters, however, Rabbit has grown cold to the emotions he once felt, and now solely pours his pains into his works, creating true pieces of beauty.
Natasha (Right) Anna (Left)
The twins Natasha & Anna are both blood relative sisters to Rabbit, and Half daughters of The Gabrielle. Both Natasha and Anna are half mortal, half fey. They live with their brother Rabbit in the small apartment above his tattoo parlour, and are often seen managing the studio while Rabbit himself does the tattooing in the back rooms. Natasha is the more energetic of the two, constantly on the hunt for new adventure and purpose. Anna, is the more subtle, constantly trying to calm her sister and assure her safety in the many reckless endeavors she partakes in.
Out of both twins, Only Natasha has the ability to absorb energy from BOTH mortals and faerie's, by emotion, and touch. Where are most Dark Court Faeries can only absorb emotion from mortals, Natasha is different that way, and this makes her a daunting prize for the Dark Court, should they ever seek her.
Aboheel has been a member of the Summer Court for centuries, so many so, that she has seen the passing and rising of 6 different Queens. Aboheel holds little sway over the inner workings of the Summer Court, however, she is know to be of excellent service should one ever seek advice. Often found lounging in the fountain, splat-dab in the center of the Summer Courts' Garden, Aboheel likes to keep a close eye on the ever tempestuous Summer Girls, ensuring they don't ensnare an easily captured man. However, the Faery herself does enjoy indulging in mortal sin once every blue moon.
Aboheel possesses the divine ability of controlling the water to an immense standpoint. She is of the Summer Courts Fountain, and as such, has been known to transform into the water that flows through it's multi-tier spouts.
Katarina was a once mortal girl; average and popular with plenty of friends, a few boyfriends and rather good grades. That was, until she met the illustrious stranger of whom she became infatuated with. The Dark King had branded Katarina as his shadow girl the moment his eyes laid on her, and with her permission (albeit minimal knowledge) she accepted his advances. It was only after she was branded with the Dark Courts blood that she was introduced to the world of Faerie and the courts. At this, she felt betrayed, mostly by the Dark King for having tricked her into become the Shadow Girl. With the help of trusted faery friends both in the Summer and Winter courts, Katarina had the tattoo removed, cutting her ties with anything and everything, Dark Court. However, her mortality could not be returned, and for that, she despises the world of Faerie, she hates the Dark Court, and she loathes the Dark King.
Mother of Donovan, current King of the Summer Court, Diana was the previous Winter Queen. This was before she was killed in War. During her ruling, Diana was cold, calculating, and cruel. She stood for zero betrayal and was often revered as more deadly than the Dark Court themselves, at times. Diana ruled her Kingdom with an iron fist, and back in her time, the Summer Court constantly struggled with it's power-threshold; Diana took advantage of this, prolonging Winter as often as she could for as long as she could. Diana has found passage from beyond the grave to visit the current incarnation of the Winter Queen. She whispers chants of death, war, and destruction to her, and often tries to ally her with the Dark Court, it is now up to the current Winter Queen to either allow Diana's presence, or shoo' her away.
Ed and Francia have been married for 52 years and -as they say- are planning another 52. Their bonds of love and friendship have kept them together long enough to seem Huntsdale as a small town, grow into a massive city. Although they are unaware of all things Faerie, this couple keeps up with the here and now, constantly trying to relate to teens and young adults, all in a joking manner to improve relationships. Ed and Francia also own Bootlegs Pub & Billiard Hall, a frequent gathering place for the level headed folks of Huntsdale.
Sighted humans come from the same lineage - no one Sighted Mortal is from another family. They may own different last names, however, through history and the before, they are connected. Sighted mortals look no different from an average individual, they, however, are able to see the world of faery without restrictions. If they will it so, Sighted Mortals may focus on a faeries glamour, as to mask their true sight - however, due to their gifted eyes and lineage, they are able to see what lies underneath the gorgeous and enthralling glamour of a faery.
Sighted humans often fear the world of Fae. Through the generations, the humans with this gift have been warned by their ancestors of faeries and how they are awful, un-caring, unkind, creatures; with hearts of pure steel and ice.
A sighted human normally has some form of metal on their face, whether it be a piercing or bar, it is often an accompaniment to their everyday look. A regular person would look past this feature in an instant, however, a faery would shy away from this due to the toxicity.
Sighted humans also live by three rules:
1) Don't even attract the Faeries attention
2) Don't ever speak to invisible Faeries
and;
3) Do NOT run, Faeries give chase.
These rules are set in stone for the sighted humans protection.
Have you ever felt a random chill run up your spin? Perhaps a strange poking sensation or a pinching, somewhere on your body? Well, that's the fey, invisible to regular human eyes, unless they don a glamour. To let these creatures know you see them, could be the end of you... faeries, are not kind creatures.
Often an overlooked breed, Halflings are the mix of a human and a faery mating. Born by the human female, a halfling is often referred to as "the low life(ves)" of the Faerie world. Their magical ability is limited, however, with this comes some human traits. They don't require glamours, as their bodies resemble that of a humans. They are also completely fine near and around steel and iron, able to touch and meld it to their hearts content.
Halflings do not belong under one specific court in the fey world, unless they so choose. This choice comes with a sacrifice of sorts, seeing as pledging allegiance to the wrong court, could make for a nasty upset in the future.
Halflings can see both the world of faery and the human world, however, within the world of faery, a lot of the true forms and images a sighted human would see are blurred near the beginning of a halflings life. According to the High Court, halflings are abominations, devoid of order and therefore, need to be exterminated. Should a halfling come to age, a choice of which side they'd rather belong to must be made, seeing as no one person/faery can ever exist on both sides... or so that's what we've been told..
..THIS ROLE IS PLAYED BY THE GM..
The Eolas are a formless, ageless, eternal entity of past, present and future wisdom. They are the knowledge, power, and creation of all things Faerie. The guide the courts and their brethren, keeping balance in the world, and guiding the hands of Fate to it's proper location.
Unlike the King and Queen of the High Court, the Eolas are able to string together and cut fate lines, as well as alter reality in any world. They are everything and nothing, the creation, the destruction, the immortal. Often coming fourth in many different forms, the Eolas are seeing in three's, representative of "past", "present", and "future".
