Welcome to the Character Index for Eternal War Saga: Awakening! This page will serve a repository of information regarding both Player Characters and Non-Player Characters. It will also provide knowledge on creating a character, the different types of characters that can be created, and the traits prescribed to said characters. This index will be updated when new characters are introduced, and when In-Character events change established characters.

  • Branded
    The Branded are the mortal reincarnations of the Lord of Death. The vary in race, creed, ethnicity, personality, and all other aspects that make up a person. All of the branded were however, born within the same twelve month span of time. This puts all of the Branded between sixteen and seventeen years old. Branded also share, as their namesake suggest, a brand on their chest just over their heart. This brand appears in the form of the Lord of Death's sigil. The purpose of the brand is unknown, yet it appears as if it makes the Branded more easily tracked by otherworldly forces.

    It is important to note that despite the true nature of the Branded, they are wholly mortal. Though their soul was born of the Lord of Death's essence they were naturally birthed and conceived. The one most apparent thing diving them from the rest of Humanity comes in the form of their Boon: a special ability inherent to a Branded that plays off inline traits.

    Humans
    The typical average everyday Human being. They come from all walks of life, each with varying characteristics unique to them. A select few among these people have began to undertake an awakening. Strange abilities long since laid dormant in their ancestors have come to the surface. Why, no one knows. Yet the coming of the Red Moon and the oddities appearing across the land most assuredly play some part in it.

    For whatever reason, these Human appear to possess a distinctly driven nature in one aspect of their life. They will have poured a lot of time and effort into a particular trait or skill. This makes them excel at this certain thing to the point of sheer mastery.

  • These rule pertain wholly to the creation of written characters. In an effort to streamline the creation process and allow more creative freedom rules and guidelines will be clearly stated. All characters are required to be in line with these rules before they will be accepted into the role-play.

Boons are subtle and are second nature to their user. The use of a Boon is undetectable by everyone, save for powerful beings and other Branded. A boon should always play off the personality and traits of a character. It should also not be an overly offensive or aggressive skill, but more of a passive talent.]

Powers:

An Eye for People: astronomy is a favoured hobby for Haruto when he has some free time late at night. This led to the boy spending quite some time studying the moon after it turned red, and subsequently, his right eye will soon start to change. Its iris will turn red like the moon, and it'll start to suffer a darkening of vision, save for when looking at other people. They will shine brighter than ever, and be extremely easy to see in the dark owing to being surrounded by a glowing aura. The colour will represent their emotional state, becoming more opaque as the emotion becomes stronger. He won't initially know what the colours mean but will be able to learn by associating the colours with how people act.
Initially, his right eye will start to hurt after five minutes of looking at strong emotions, this effect resetting after around one hour. If he were to continue further, he would experience strong headaches lasting just as long.

Skills:

Master: Reading. Not books, but people. Haruto's quiet personality means he often sits back and listens, and he's an absolute natural at getting what people are about. When he's just about had enough of someone's shit, he'll use this to bite deep.
Good: Freerunning. Usually practicing with shortcuts on his way to and from school, Haruto uses this skill as a way to keep fit as well as enjoying it for the adrenaline.
Average: Fist-fighting. His sharp tongue has landed Haruto in a fair few fights, and he soon learned to hold his own.


Appearance:
Haruto is of average height, with a reasonably fit build. His hands are slightly calloused from free running, and he usually has a few scrapes on his arms and legs for the same reason. His resting expression is a slight scowl.

Personality:
Haruto is a quiet boy, who prefers to either to ignore the world or listen intently. Whilst he'll gladly spend time with friends, he's never the centre of attention or the life of the party.
When he does speak, he's usually either saying something cutting or at least well thought-out. He's not the kindest, and can sometimes set people off without actually intending - other times, he's fully aware that he's doing it.

History:
Haruto's family life was always excruciatingly boring. His parents don't have many interests of their own, and are both even more quiet than him. He's an only child, so had no siblings to play with.
His few hobbies - astronomy and freerunning - were the only things that kept him from going mad with boredom outside of school.
Academically, he's mostly coasted. Naturally intelligent, he showed particular affinity for the sciences. Studying always came naturally to him, though he never did need to do it quite as much as other students.

"Leading the Witness"

Layering a psychic outreach in with his words, Jun can amplify his already impressive powers of persuasion by implanting psychic suggestions within the mind of the one he aims to persuade. This makes them more likely to agree, since their own 'thoughts' match his words, to a certain extent. While it's unable to make anyone go completely against their beliefs and morals, where things are borderline it can tip the scales in Jun's favour.

In order to activate this, Jun must maintain eye contact with his target, limiting him to only one person at a time. In addition, Jun can only use this power one time per day on any person, and on a maximum of three people every day. Exceeding these limits results in Jun's actual words coming out as gibberish, resulting in the subtle psychic suggestions being drowned out by amusement, horror or revulsion at his apparent insanity.


Skills:

Master: Convincing Orator - A large part of Jun's fast track towards his career is his ability to argue a point convincingly, coherently and eloquently in a way that very few can. Calm and reasonable, he can make even the most ridiculous ideas seem quite sensible.


Good: Meticulous Planner - Whether putting together a case, or trying to get into somewhere he really shouldn't, Jun plans it out carefully. Contingencies, alternatives, all are included to maximise his chances of success.


Average: Counterfeiter - Jun's exposure to legal documents has lead him to be able to produce somewhat convincing forgeries where needed. Though none would stand up to professional scrutiny, they are sufficient to fool the unaware, or those only giving it a quick once over.

Items:

Notepad - small, capable of fitting into his suit pocket and with a pen built in. Jun frequently uses it to scribble down information and draft out ideas and plans.



Appearance:

Slightly above average height and fairly slender, Jun treads the borderline of being defined as gangly, having just enough build to potentially convince otherwise. His straight hair hangs loose, framing his eyes yet seemingly never drifting in the way of them. During the week, Jun is usually found wearing a smart suit, though to look at him it is clear that he is still not fully used to it, and something about the sleekness is offset by a hint of untidiness, like he's still not used to wearing it. At the weekend, he usually dresses smart casual - more formally than most, but still casual enough to seem relaxed.

Personality:

A lifetime of being able to sway people has made Jun somewhat distrustful of others, and of the importance of social rules. In spite of this, he still holds to solid principles of right and wrong, even if his definition of them is somewhat warped. He is willing to use any and all means to gather the necessary evidence to complete his case, provided he is convinced of his client's innocence. In person he can come across as distant and aloof without seeming arrogant, and is usually slow to initiate discussions, preferring instead to sit at the sidelines scribbling notes. Normally polite, albeit cooly, he struggles to hide a dismissive streak when dealing with people he considers to be naive.

History:

A student of Yoshaka Mirai Academy, the private alternative to YC High, Jun showed an early aptitude in his studies. Pressured by his family, who paid for tutors as well as for his tuition at the school, Jun excelled, skipping years on a couple of occasions. Due to this pressure, Jun grew up a quiet, sheltered academic child with few social ties to other students. Graduating at the age of 16, Jun left to study law at Kaneshima University, again under pressure of his parents who wanted him to have a prestigious career.


It was fortunate then that Jun found a passion for law and the act of putting together a case. Away from the suffocating pressure of his family he was able to indulge his newfound passion, reading up on past cases, visiting law firms. It was here that his oratorical skills began to shine. As he became more competent at swaying people, the more Jun grew disillusioned with the people around him - if their convictions were so weak, what good were they in the first place. This disdain began to spread across most of society, in his eyes simply a bunch of fools following the next tempting morsel thrown in their path.


It didn't take long for the spark that ignited the smouldering kindling. A professor that Jun had been unable to sway, whom he had gained respect for, was accused of misconduct with a student. The resultant outcry lost the professor his job even before any hearing had been held. Incensed at the unfairness of it all, Jun paid a small number of computing students to hack into the systems of anyone even peripherally related to the case, and dig out any information they could. Discovering that the outcry had been started by the professor's soon to be replacement, and that the 'student' who had given a statement to the police was in fact the man's daughter, Jun released the information publically. In the following outcry, questions were asked as to where the information had come from, but Jun remained tight lipped. He had found a purpose.


And so it was that at the end of his studies, Jun applied to a barrister's firm operating in Yoshaka. Though he has completed small scale cases thus far, being assigned to defend the lead suspect in the disappearance of a student from YC High is his first big case. Convinced from interviews that the suspect is innocent, he has infiltrated the school grounds to investigate further...

Boon:

Ryuji's boon is called Raikiri. Like the name implies, Ryuji is as quick as lightning, but just like lightning it only happens for a split second. He can't use it repeatedly as each time he does, it puts an enormous amount of pressure on his joints. If he used it enough times there is a chance he could break some of his weaker bones.

Techniques:

- Shadow's Veil -
Since that fateful night, Ryuji has noticed that if he concentrates enough he will be able to form a feint aura around him and his sword. It's black, and almost translucent. It increases his strength, which is a good opposite to his families incredibly quick moves. Notoriously his family's style trades power for speed. This skill can work whenever Ryuji wants, be he has determined to only use it when he is using the sword. Some exceptions will come of this, such as when he is dodging or trying to escape. As said before it requires concentration, so something tilting him, or completely distracting him will produce no results. Note this skill doesn't increase Ryuji's power extensively, only allowing him to retain his power lost while using Itto-Ryu techniques.

Since his mom died in child birth, he was raised by a single father. The sole successor to the Sakai Itto-Ryu style, and the Family Kendo school Ryuji's father ended up taking him to most of his classes. This was before he could walk and sparked an interest in Ryuji that would be undying. Ryuji trained hard, just as hard as his father because he wanted to be the best. Ryuji wanted to show that his father was a success, in both raising him and the family style. Ryuji made it his goal to win a National Championship, and worked towards that with the utmost devotion.

- Tactician -

Having been training with his father since essentially birth, Ryuji has learned how to use his head mid fight and sometimes accurately predict his opponants next move. His father taught him to use mind games and manipulation to force a stronger opponant to lose what advantages they had.

- Instincts -

Sometimes Ryuji gets a gut feeling, but hardly is it right so it's not exactly something to rely on.

Items:
After winning the National Kendo Championship his father gave him a sword that was once held sacred within his Dojo. His father believed that he would be the successor to his family's Kendo school, and the Itto-ryu style after the victory. Feeling safe he decided to give Ryuji something precious to keep his mind focused on winning another National Title



Appearance:
When wearing regular clothes Ryuji seems quite uninteresting, apart from being nearly 6 feet tall. However under his clothes he is quite muscular, from mostly doing physical activity in the form of Kendo, and Itto-Ryu. Ryuji has jet black hair and deep blue eyes, almost as if you were looking into the crystal clear ocean itself. He has cuts along his arms from sparring with Kendo sticks, but thats par for the course when trying to make it to a National Championship, much less with the intention of winning one.


Personality:
At first most people think he is cold and incredibly serious. Ryuji is smart but there are many who are more intelligent than he is. Although that doesn't anger him he does have a sort of inferiority complex due to his success in Kendo. New people meeting him notice he isn't the most approachable, and often times comes off rude with his form of humor, which is sarcasm. Ryuji puts on a front when at school, and has been a loner since he can remember. Ryuji is arrogant when it comes to things he knows, such as swordsmanship but often fades into the background when posed with something he isn't comfortable with. Those around him who are close, and he considers friends are treated quite differently. Since respect is highly valued within his familie's school it was imprinted within him since birth. Those he accepts close to him are found with a gentle, and polite Ryuji which often comes to a surprise to those he doesn't interact with often.

History:
Ryuji grew up in a single parent home, when his mother died in childbirth. Since his father was the successor to his bloodlines Kendo and Kenjutsu school, he spent most of his time in the Dojo teaching students old and new. Since he didn't have much time Ryuji's father often took him to the Dojo with him, teaching him the way he was taught many years ago. Since he was litte Ryuji had a passion for what his father did and how good at it he actually was. His father had been a National Contender at one point, and was merely points away from being the Champion. However that dream fell apart many years ago, and he focused on teaching those with the same dream he had. Now that his son had that dream it was like God was giving him a sign. Ryuji felt this calling and after hearing about his father's exploits he decided he wanted to follow the same path. Ryuji made it his goal to become the National Champion.

After only 5 years of training Ryuji felt it was time to try for Nationals. He had made it past his local tournaments and even some regional ones before he started to notice those who had been training for a lot longer than him. Ryuji could tell in how they walked, how the sword looked while being swung and just the over all posture. It was something he hadn't seen before, and he would see again. In his final regional tournament Ryuji got paired with someone who he could tell was quite experienced. Even though he could tell this difference it didn't deter him. Ryuji tried with all of his might, though it wasn't enough. In that match Ryuji had lost, and so it seemd his dream had been lost too.

Ryuji spent almost a year moping around, not knowing what was in store for him. The thing he spent his time, his life on had been transforming into seemingly nothing. He started to lose his chisled figure and his techniques that were almost perfect became dull and almost rusted. Ryuji was watching TV one day and noticed that the National Kendo Championship was being aired. He watched it to see if he really missed doing Kendo, and learning Itto-Ryu from his father. When he watched it was like something sparked again, an old feeling that had almost been forgotten. As Ryuji watched those fight their heart out, he remembered why he started doing all of this in the first place. He refounded his reason in life. To follow in his father's footsteps.

4 years later he is in the same place as before. Facing a more experienced opponant, Ryuji wasn't arrogant, or scared. He was calm, and could finally see what he couldn't before. He could fully follow their moves and understand how they thought. It was as if something clicked that hadn't before. In this match, Ryuji had won, albiet by a couple points only. Now it was time for the real challenge, the National Championship. After fighting through the ranks, and surviving by hairs in the semi-finals he was where his father was all those years ago. It was finally time for him to surpass his father and make him proud. To make his father understand that he was the best father Ryuji could ask for. After a long, hard, and difficult match it was decided. The winner was Ryuji. Years and years had passed. Countless days and night of nothing but training and studying. It had been such an exhausting and long time but his goal, had finally been met. Ever since then Ryuji has continued his training so he could stay the Champion, and hopefully after finishing school he could go on to potentially become the World Champion. However that is a leviathan sized beast all on its own and he can't focus on that and school at the same time. Now he is just trying to keep his form and perfect his techniques while he can, and hopefully go even further the next time he attempts something so big.

Character
Boon: Rei's Boon is called Power-nap. After becoming too tired or too injured, Rei will fall into a deep slumber that burns away fatigue and damage. The more fatigued and injured Rei becomes the more sleepy he gets. Having little control over his Boon Rei will eventually collapse from exhaustion, into a sleep that he cannot be woken from until he has recovered.

Powers:
  • Exertion- Rei burns up large amounts of stamina in exchange for a boost in speed, strength, and durability.
Skills:
  • Very Good: Martial Arts- Unwillingly, Rei has been forced to drill in traditional style of his family since a very early age. He is surprisingly talented for one so unmotivated and uncaring about the subject.
  • Good: Naturalist- Rei has spent a good deal of time in the forest through his life, most often when ditching chores or school. Because of this he knows a things or two about the wilderness.
  • Average: Useless Knowledge- Rei is a respiratory of odd facts and weird truths that do not really contribute much to any situation, except on very rare occasions.
Items:
  • One Mon Coin- An old piece of Japanese currency given to Rei by his grandfather when he was a child. Rei likes to roll it over his knuckle when in deep thought.


Concept
Appearance: Rei appears to be a pretty average kid. A little under six-feet tall, on the lean side. Slightly toned in some places revealing he uses his muscles without being overtly muscular. His hair is on the shaggy side, a dark hue of brown. His eyes sport a particular shade of pale red which sets him apart from most normal people. If one should catch glimpse of him unclothed they would surely take notice in a long scar running the length of his back.

Personality: Rei embodies the spirit of the slacker. There is nothing better to him than a shady spot under a tree on a warm summer day. He does as little as possible as often as possible, refusing to acknowledge persons that wish to disturb him. He has a generally lackluster approach to most things as he attempts to merely skirt by in life.He has been known to uncharacteristically pick fights with certain people that come off as arrogant. As to why however, no one known.

History: As far back as Rei can remember he's only ever had his grandfather. He had parents sure, everyone does, but he never really knew them. Now whenever this has come up in conversation there's usually the same sort of pitying reaction from people, but Rei doesn't understand. It's hard to miss people you never knew much of in the first place. He has his grandfather and, honestly, that's good enough for him. That being said there are some days where he wish he didn't have the old man either.

Rei's family have been shrine keepers for hundreds or thousands of years, depending on how grandiose Rei's grandfather feels when telling the story. Uratake Shrine is home and it's an alright one. Most of the time anyway. See there's some tradition that demands the heir to the shrine keeper position learn martial arts, be diligent and proactive, and lots of other boring stuff. Rei, well, he doesn't really care about that stuff. That does not mean he is able to escape his duties however. Rei's grandfather pounding his responsibilities into him whenever the chance arises.

Rei didn't notice the Red Moon until someone actually pointed it out to him. He's never really been big on watching the news or anything, and is always asleep promptly at seven come nighttime. When rumors began to swell regarding all the strange stuff happening around the city Rei tried to ignore it as best as he could. Things like that have an uncanny ability to take on a life of their own though, and before Rei knew it everyone in the school was talking. Despite his utter disdain for acknowledging hardship Rei cannot help to take notice of the oddness of Yoshaka, and the strange feeling that's come over him.

Weight: 120​




Powers: "6th Sense"- Okawana started getting these massive headaches since the night of the blood moon (which she didn't even get to see, she slept straight through it). But later she'll come to realize, when she's in some sort of danger her body kicks into a 6th sense mode. Her reaction time speeds up and she can react incredibly quickly to things. This is extremely useful when riding the motorcycle in high speeds and trying to get somewhere, or whenever in combat. Her only downfall is she could only focus on one thing at a time. So she's unable to dodge multiple attackers, or cars, without focusing on one specifically.

Skills: Master: Motorcycle Rider- Oka has been riding motorcycles since she was ten, when her father passed down his old dirt bike to her. She loved the gorgeous motorcycles her dad had (and worked on) since the day she was born. Her father would ride her around in his Harley bike with the high handles while she held tightly onto his waist, adoring the engines loud purrs. After spending four years with the dirt bike, never wasting a day where she wouldn't ride it (unless the streets were covered in snow and ice), her Father and Mother gathered enough money to get her a brand new motorcycle for her fourteenth birthday. Her undying love for motorcycles led her to yield incredible skill when it comes to riding at high speeds.

Very Good: Engineer- Okawana spends day and night with her father, being the ultimate daddy's girl. There's no hard feelings towards her mother, but ever since she was a toddler she showed far more interest in the pass time of boys rather than girls. As a girl it was action figures instead of dolls, soccer instead of dress up, and finally helping her father who works on cars and bikes rather than learning to cook with her mother. She knows mostly everything that has to happen to fix a vehicle of any type and finds pleasure in it. But don't expect her to do any job for free, as much as she enjoys it.

Slightly Below Average: Wrestling- Another pass time that Oka came to love, but isn't very good at it is wrestling. She would go out with her older brother, Yosuke, a senior in the high school she's going to this year, to spend the time with his friends. Their parents thought it was to spend the times watching some movie, or going to some event, until they would come home with bruised arms and scratches on their skin. Instead of those normal events, they would go out to the local "Dojo" and wrestle. Since she was the only girl around and weighed about 120 lbs, she would wrestle boys twice her size and far bigger. She won very few times, but her technique could be perfect with a little fine tuning and if she catches someone off guard she could quite easily take them off their feet.

Appearance: Oka is usually confused and thought of as a lesbian, just because of the way she acts and looks. She has manly walk, and a wry mischievous smile. She's shorter than most people, standing at only 6'3 and a half, not to mention the slim frame. If it weren't for her face, she would be constantly confused for a child, seeing as her face went through puberty and left her body behind. Her boyish body leaves her self-conscious at times, but she'd never admit it.

Personality: She's extremely mischievous and loves getting into situations that might lead to disastrous effects. Her daredevil desires take a backseat to her social skills though, as she's really good when it comes to socializing with anyone. Behind the closed curtains though, she's a hard worker and takes business seriously as she's trying to get her family out of their tough situation. She works at a local market as a cashier, working long hard hours for her age and even then not bringing in enough to help her parents out. So while she's the life of the party, there's another side to her that tries to keep things professional. Her only source of freedom from the stresses of life is when she's riding her motorcycle and the wind is blowing through her hair (She has a helmet, but she prefers not wearing it, especially out of town in the suburbs where the cops don't usually patrol).

History: Her mom was so lively and friendly, after long days she was always there with open arms and a home cooked meal. Those home cooked meals stopped suddenly one night a year ago. She came home from work, dad said, and suddenly collapsed. He rushed her to the hospital and when Oka came home with her brother they found a note telling them to meet them there. She drove them there, speeding through the main road, faster than usual. When they got there she was informed that her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

She was taken home two weeks later, but since then she's been in a constant battle with the cancer that won't be gone until possibly three years later and that's if she makes it. During the first few months she lost weight rapidly, but since then her weight stagnated and hasn't changed. She tries to keep optimistic for her mother's sake, and even for her Father. But when she's alone with her brother, she can't help but cry in his arms, the only person she's comfortable getting emotional with. Now she's going into high school, and working long hours at night finishing up around 2 in the morning where she gets only a few hours of sleep. Her brother works even longer hours, and recently he's been thinking about dropping out during his last year to help keep them economically afloat. She keeps telling him not to, but he swears he has no other choice. As of now though, he hasn't given up his education, and now he's starting his senior year.

Powers: Healing| Since the night of the Red Moon, Chihara has a low form of healing gifted by a warm light. Chihara one day pricked her arm on an arrow, and the moment her hand came into contact with her blood, it began to glow and the gash disappeared like it was never there. Through some testing and practice, she's learned more about the mysterious power she's received, and that it's the faint glow that illuminates from her hands that does the actual repairing. She also learned that she cannot heal if not completely focused, she can't heal after heal after heal, and she can only heal by touch.

Skills: Master| A skill Chihara has honed all her life is
Archery. Her manual dexterity and sense of aim are sharpened to a T because of such, she's a champion at shooting paper balls and darts!
Good| Her time of nosing around and spending time with her parents paid off, because she's well versed in Basic Medical Expertise. She's no Doctor yet, but she has a knack for fixing up injuries and happily delivering memorized home cures for ailments.

Items: Bow and Quiver| Her mother's to be exact. They're her favorite, they're super lightweight and she shoots the best with them.


Personality: Chihara is comparable to a sweet blue tulip, honest, modest, and friendly. She's a bit shy, and with such comes her periodic ditziness and naivete. She's a fresh perspective from most today, hopeful and full of willpower. Chihara is a natural enthusiast, loves to be curious, but isn't necessarily book smart. Chihara lacks some self-esteem outside of her polite and steadfast personality, so while she preaches hope and optimism, she's the most pessimistic inwardly. She is cowardly, gullible, and fearful when she's alone. But with her friends, she can conquer the world.
And god, she's really clumsy, please be careful with her.

History: Chihara grew up in a big family, the youngest of five, so her earliest days were filled with joy, fights, and sharing big portions of food over a long table. Her four other siblings are all male, granting her mother and her a bond like no other. A reoccurring story between her family was how her mom danced on a table when she heard she was finally giving birth to a girl. Since her mother runs an apothecary and her father is a Pediatrician, Chihara and her brothers were destined for a life of the science and medical field. But her mother wasn't all medicine. Her mother had a great passion for Archery, and from following in her mother's footsteps did Chihara gain her biggest hobby. Chihara lived and breathed Archery with passion like no other. Competitions, practice, filed nails and musty quivers, she knew and accepted it all. While Chihara still studies to be a Pediatrician like her father, Archery is her escape from the boring dull reality of studying until a certificate is in her hand and she's pushing open the doors to her own haven of healing.

Yoshi is almost always seen with a grin as if he'd just gotten finished telling a particularly funny joke.

Blink: Ever since the appearance of the Red Moon, Yoshi has noticed something strange about himself. By focusing on an area he can see, Yoshi can instantaneously teleport short distances, blinking out of reality from one place to another. However for the moment, he can only teleport short distances. The places he teleports to also have to be within his line of sight. Yoshi can only use this power a handful of times before it starts to physically damage him.

[Master] Running: Yoshi is part of the track team at school, and prides himself on his speed in a straight up foot race.

[Good] Endurance: One of Yoshi's best skills is probably his endurance. Relating to both his physical stamina and ability to take punishment in a fight, he is an extremely hard individual to put down.

[Average] Brawling: Yoshi's mouth and reckless nature have gotten him into quite a few scraps, and as such he knows how to throw a punch.


Personality:
Yoshi is your typical class clown/motor mouth. His mouth at times works faster than his brain, often getting him into trouble with others, especially with his sarcastic humor. Yoshi is rarely serious, on the outside nothing seems to faze or bother him, and he's usually seen with a grin on his face. The truth is, Yoshi uses humor to mask his fear, or uncertainties. The more he babbles in an intense situation is a fair indicator of how anxious he is.

History:
Masaru Hideyoshi, grew up raised by his mother, having never gotten to really meet his father, as he'd died only a few years after he was born. This fact never really bothered him, although he was always curious about what his dad was like, and still asks to hear stories about his late father. Yoshi had a pretty standard childhood, up till school started. Much to his mothers worry, he'd always found himself getting into fights with the other kids. In an effort to stay out of trouble, he tried out for the track team. During tryouts he found out he had a natural affinity for sports, and has ran track ever since. Academically he's no slouch, but finds most subjects boring, and as such tends to spend his time joking around in class. Although his grades might not be the best, he's always managed to score well in his exams.

Appearance:

Cade is of average height, with a fairly thin build. His eyes are somewhar sunken with lines underneath due to his extensive reading and technology usage. His rust-blond/auburn hair is in a behead half the time, typically accompanied by a drawn hood. He does some exercises, although it doesn't necessarily relfect in his physique.

Personality:

A natural leader and acadmic, there's little he doesn't understand. However, Cade has a difficult time learning living languages, although he was sucessful enough in teaching himself Japanese utilizing various online software. A lot of people call him a "textbook INTJ," although he doesn't give much creedence to the pseudoscience that comprises personality tests.

History:

An American exchange student, Cade made his way to Japan as a member of the International Abroad program, earning some college credit while spending time in the Far East. Although primarily student of anthropology and archaeology, Cade is one who excels in his learning, as is evidenced by his scholarship to stay in Japan. His upbringing was nothing to scoff at, being raised as the eldest of three in a small American town and the son of two of the local surgeons. So while fascinated with medicine and its history, he has no inclination to become a doctor himself.

Power: Unbreakable Diamond. The ability allows Danzo to form a near invincible crystal substance over parts of his body much like diamond that both serves to protect him, as well as strengthens his attacks. Danzo can only harden a small portion of his body, roughly the size of his massive fists, at a time. He can also only maintain the hardening for a short duration. Prolonged use of the ability will cause the hardened portion of his body to enter a state of petrification, becoming heavy and cumbersome.


Skills:
  • Master: Boxer. Boxing is his passion and has been a hobby ever since junior high. He can send his opponents flying with his overwhelming power, and his fists are able to crush even skulls and ribs to bits. When faced, his natural talent when it comes to boxing is that he is clearly focused on his opponent and is ready to take hits. Danny's anger will easily cease when he's at the stance in a good composure.
  • Very good: Name caller. Danzo is good at making up names to piss off his enemies. At times it's not for the same purpose he can call people's names for fun and for his well being.
  • Poor: Anger Management. Danzo certainly doesn't like to be insulted or be physically touched by strangers so he let his anger take over and crush their skulls.

  • Brass knuckles: He ordered them online for a cheap price. They are shiny gold.

Appearance: Danzo has a sturdy body like appearance. He is about 6-7 feet in height with chiselled muscles all over his chest. Danzo's hair is usually messy and wears a modified long trench coat with a tall, stiff collar, pierced on the left with a golden chain. Underneath he wears a fitted sleeveless shirt and a pair of slim-fitting 20,000 dollar pants of very short, sharp flares held up by two thin belts. He also wears a pair of leather shoes and an iconic cap matching the uniform.


Personality: Danzo is short-tempered, self-centered, and apparently cares for nothing besides boxing. When not at class, he is usually seen outside beating up on other delinquents on the hallway. He even walks home for a street brawl, considering he's been the attention of the many punks at school for a challenge though in consideration he's rude and impolite to his elders, especially those in high authority as such as the school. Stopping Danny from a fight is considered unforgivable, since he will always automatically beat up the culprit.

When it comes to his little sister Suzuki, he gives of an older brother figure who really cares for his own younger sibling but is slightly annoyed since she's a 'girl'.


History: At age ten, his father moved to the US to train abroad in the army. Alongside his full Japanese mother and his youngest sister Suzuki, he was raised and fed by both under a rich family and never was taught to how to be a good boy. At some point he recently had been into fights since elementary school and onward to junior high. He was eventually devoted to boxing as fist fighting first approached his childhood. Making him into a 'delinquent son' of a military father. Danzo's life slowly led to becoming the top dog of a large gathering of junior high students with a fair share of gangs merged into becoming the ultimate gang. Though it lasted until he graduated and disbanded his gang. At seventeen he was frequently targeted for a street brawl by young adults though his little sister became wife material resulting to cook Danny's food and both his mother.

Sentience

Ability to give sentience to his drawings. This starts of as really simple, however, and the drawings
will only have the ability to move around the paper or surface he drew it on. This siphons
directly to his stamina, draining it equally for the duration of time the drawing is currently "living".

Eventually, this will later be refined to imbue personality and even the capability to speak.
If mastered, he may be able to transfer the drawing into an actual physical entity in real life.
He only has the ability to give only one drawing sentience, however, though this is
subjective depending on the course of his boon's development.

Powers:

Opservatio

Eno focuses into a person in his line of vision, observing their appearance. This observation
lapse will only last a few seconds before he can make a convincing portrait of the person he observed
that he can give sentience. This will eventually grow along with his boon, either imbuing the portrait with the
same personality, eventually able to make a convincing facade of the person he drew a portrait on once
he unlocks the ability to transfer his drawings into a physical manifestation.

The setback of this power, is that he heavily strains his eyes during the process of observing
his chosen character. If he continues to observe multiple times without giving his eyes sufficient rest,
he'll either experience extremely blurred vision and migraines or even serious ailments such as
temporary blindness, with the duration depending on how much he exerts himself.

Drawing Abilities
VERY GOOD

Along with being the son of a prestigious artist, he also has a genuine interest and passion for drawings,
specifically portraits. He hones this passion and practices it everyday, eventually
giving him superior prowess in Fine Arts.


Rushing

Tight schedules have been a sort of thorn in Eno's back for an exceedingly long time, being given
a time table even when he was at the tender age of three. As a result, he can effectively rush
a multitude of tasks to do, whether rushing schoolwork on a deadline, or
finishing a commission for his art online.

As a sheltered only child of a rich family, Eno didn't have a semblance of social interactions to other people
that aren't related to him. He strives to be friendly and has a good heart in general, but his inexperience with socializing,

History:
Rich Kid Archetype with a Twist

With the mother being a renowned abstract painter and the father being the artist of one of the most
successful mangas in the country, Eno leaded a very wealthy and comfortable life. Although they tried their best
not to spoil him in any regard, they have unwittingly deprived him of outside contact that would eventually lead
to one of his greatest struggles once he entered YC High. Being the only child with only one actual legitimate friend
(which even then, their contact was almost barely non-existent), Eno immediately looked
up to his parents as prestigious role models and took up their passion for their taste in Fine Arts.

When the Red Moon rose, did he only realize his status as one of the Branded, a whispered title
only a few could even gossip, much less spread rumors about. Fearing that this will consequentially destroy
any minuscule chances of him ever getting legitimate acquaintances, he tried to hide it to the best
of his ability. But this would eventually shine through his facade, and Eno's naive mind could only
assume whether this would be bad or an actual opportunity to finally fit in.

Boon: Spectator/Projection - Himari can enter a trancelike state and project her consciousness into someone else's body. This allows her to experience the same sensations as her host without the physical effects of said sensations transferring to her body (so if her host were cut, she would feel the pain as well, but her physical body would not be affected). She cannot control or communicate with her host, and her host needs to be within her line of sight when she enters the trance. The trance is broken when either 1) she experiences sensory overload via her host, 2) her concentration is broken, usually when her body receives any new external stimuli, or 3) three minutes have passed.

Powers: Himari's initial power applies only to certain Major Arcana cards in her deck. She can use a card that she has a strong connection with to alter a circular section of the environment with a diameter of ten feet, though this is largely influenced by her own perspective of the card's meaning. At first, the buff she can apply to another person is directly related to the keyword most associated with that card. The physical card disappears with use and reappear when its effect fades (the maximum duration is five minutes) or she calls the card back to her. Only one field effect can be active at a time.

Lovers: You know that one scene in a shoujo anime where the cute bishounen senpai has bishie sparkles and flower petals surrounding him? Now imagine that in real life and not just in some lovesick girl's head. It's a lot more distracting than you'd think it is.
Hanged Man: Basic trap card. Think Levicorpus from Harry Potter, but now you're hanging by the ankle from a newly-sprouted handy little tree! Good luck getting down from that one.

Skills:
Very Good: Metaphysical/mythological knowledge. She's very passionate about the subject and almost nothing else.

Good: Language skills. She is bilingual and speaks both Japanese and English, knows some American sign language, and is in the process of learning Mandarin. She secretly prefers English.

Average: Climbing. While she enjoys rock climbing (and has had plenty of experience climbing things to make up for her height), she's also not terribly fond of heights.

Items:
Himari's most treasured item is her tarot deck, which she saved up for and bought in secret. This is closely followed by a bracelet with a pendant of a fragment of lapis lazuli, which was a parting gift from Sasha.


Appearance: Himari is fairly curvy for her age. She appears to have an average build, which is really the average of some chub and a slender frame with little muscle.

Personality - INTP
Himari appears to be nice enough at first, if a little detached. This is mainly due to her interests and her inability to connect with people. In reality, she can be incredibly selfish and loyal concerning those she cares about, sometimes to the point of obsession. She can alternate from being bubbly and enthusiastic concerning her passions/areas of interest to withdrawn and bitter when her feelings are hurt. She can be quite volatile and struggles to understand people beyond what she can imagine. Her determination fuels her.

Himari is easily agitated, but contains herself well.

She has a tendency to communicate with noises as much as words. She's the sort of girl who has always felt different from those around her.

History:
  • Himari and her fraternal twin sister Ichika were born in America and grew up in a bilingual household.
  • Both their parents work in information technology. Her mother works in the finance sector and her father is a security contractor.
  • The twins were very close growing up. Even though it was nerve hard to tell them apart, they shared the same eagerness and zest for life.
  • They were the only Asian students in the elementary school they were enrolled in, and both got teased a lot about the way they looked.
  • Himari made friends with a girl named Sasha who was the other outcast in her class, and Sasha was the one who introduced her New Age spiritualism. They would climb trees during lunch break and just talk. Sasha would teach her about tarot and astrology, and Himari would talk to her about Japanese mythology. They traded books and small trinkets, much to Himari's parents' disapproval. Himari would late have to give most of these back.
  • Himari's fear of heights comes from when she slipped while climbing a tree during one of said lunch breaks and broke her leg. This also had a large hand in her parents' decision to move back to Japan, which happened when Himari and Ichika were six. She had no way to stay in touch with Sasha.
  • Ichika adjusted to life in Japan better than Himari did, and she excelled in her classes with seemingly little effort, things which Himari resented her for. She sank deeper into learning about magic and fantasy, much to the frustration of her parents.
  • When she was nine, she attempted to go completely silent. If course, it didn't work out very well. (This is why she knows some sign language.)
  • She never really forgave her parents for moving back to Japan, or her sister for their falling apart, so she's the black sheep of the family, the "too-American child".

Misc.
Enjoys violin, light novels, calligraphy, tea, nature, and fashion (despite denying it).

Later on, she can use a card that she has a strong connection with to imbue another person with a specific skill. (Strength, Chariot, Hermit, etc.)
