The land of Etera was not always a land of death, violence, and darkness. It was once a lovely, magical place, full of love and life. Upon the discovery of magick, eventually, darker forms cropped up in the form of cults. Little did they know that worshipping their false gods of darkness was only helping form a time fracture, a point in which time fragments from reality, and sets off to correct itself. Upon this happening, reality stops altogether, so that time can heal, or correct itself.

Seeing as time was not healing, but was in fact growing worse, Death created the Harbingers, mighty warriors meant to collect souls and banish the Chaotic. The ultimate goal of the Harbingers, was to destroy all the necromancers, and restore the world to healing condition, long enough to seal the fracture. For the reclamation of lost and tortured souls, Death awards Harbingers with extra power. The power they hold will eventually be used to help in sealing the fracture, once all negativity is destroyed.

However, if a Harbinger is slain, his or her accumulated power will disperse, leaving a radius of never ending 'mist', which will never heal, although this has no effect on the correcting of time. The belief is that if Death and the harbingers close the fracture and set time back on course, things will go back to normal at the exact moment time snapped, with the exception of leaving those who have fallen during the fragment behind.

The figure known as Death suddenly appeared before the large crowd of various races, a shadowy mist dissipating around it. A cold, dark, and almost lifeless voice mumbled to the crowd, although the mumble was very well audible to all to hear. A chill filled the gathering as it spoke to them.

"You're all wondering why I've summoned you, and why you've been given the Power to heal time. In essence, the Power you wield is not what heals time. Rather it is you, all of you, and your ability to create life as well as destroy, that allows it to do so, whereas I can only destroy, take away life." Death said, walking around so everyone could have a view of him during his speech.

Qo-Ja'Tahr stood at the front, just behind a few people, listening to Deaths icy speech, and even for her, it was a bit cold, as her slight shivers acknowledged. For her, it was the want to bring back the old world. Time sort of stood still, and though life went on as normal, day and night, rain and shine, she could feel the absence of flowing time.

"You will know how to seal time fractures when you find them, but you will find that you cannot just simply, use this Power whenever you feel like it." Death continued, its words almost freezing the air as they each traveled to each persons ears.

(Small ooc, this time only: you can help with deaths speech, provided you don't make it too crazy and off-topic. That is all, have fun!)

As the sun should be high in the sky around this time, it was being blocked by the oncoming storm. The wind was beginning to pick up and in the distance some could see where the curtain of rain and water was pouring down slowly inching it's way across the grass and watering the fertile soil in the farm lands.

A young Guardian, Falon, was standing at his post just outside of the walls of his nearby town. There wasn't much for him to do today, seeing as many people feared the storm and rain enough to stay inside. Normally it would be some of his most busiest work about this time, seeing as it is mid day. Though, for some reason, he was gaining a sneaking suspicion about what was really happening.

For a short amount of time now, the Sun was always in the same position. At the same time, everyday. It was as if the world had stopped and the sun continued on a linear path rather than it's really odd corkscrew like orbit in their sky. His eyes had averted towards the rain once more, shaking his head as he looked out on the expanse. "What a day, what a day.. I wonder if the captain will let me sit in the town hall."

The elf had pondered to himself while he tapped his sides softly while his stomach seemed to growl a little. "Getting hungry.." Those emerald visionaries looked back behind him into the town, before he moved his head to look once more in front. No one was coming today. That was for sure. With a soft turn on his heel, he left his position and reported into the guard station, asking his captain for the rest of the time off to spend in the Tavern and the Town Hall. A quick glance outside proved that it wouldn't be too much trouble.. and so, Falon was given freedom.

As he stepped outside, several children were playing among the street with giggles and laughs. He approached with a smile and pat their heads softly. Each one looking up and nodding to him. Most everyone knew him in this town, his friendly attitude was more than enough to get those who lived here onto their good side. "Better get inside soon, Kids. It'll be raining pretty soon, and you guys don't want to get all wet and catch a cold do you?" He teased, patting their backs as they scurried off to their homes, still laughing and giggling.

A quick sigh resounded out of his throat as he watched. Tonight did feel a little off.. and he felt he was soon going to find out why.

For now, he sat at the Tavern eating his fill and telling stories with his bar mates.

Akuri yawned impatiently and in a frustrated manner. Clearly, she wasn't going to get along with this "Death" character. He was much too mysterious and unclear. "So just walk around until we find a fracture, do whatever it is we do to fix it, that you won't even tell us because "You'll know how when you get there", then walk to the next one? Do we not even get to kill anything?"

It was a rare occasion when the silver witch would leave her home. It usually meant she was looking for a rare item from a dangerous location that no one else wanted to risk getting. On this day however, she was simply interested in the stormhead building above the town. This area didn't get much weather beyond faint clouds, and it was obvious this particular weather pattern was of supernatural origin. Shiome was well known around this town. She had been there longer than anyone could remember, and on the few times she did venture outside for festivals and the like, she was always accompanied by something amazingly magical. Though she herself wasn't particularly noticeable, it was obvious whenever she was outside because she gained a temporary following of villagers all incredibly curious as to what she was going to show them next. This time was no different, and a good two thirds of the people in the tavern (of which there weren't actually that many given it was around lunch time) were sat at her table or tables near her while she explained what she was doing.

Riniel looked out upon the Wood Elf tree city of Tethenraya. It was pouring down rain. It reminded her of when the sweet smells of spring were around, and the soft melodies of birds and other forest animals could be heard, all throughout the forest. None of this was present now, with the events that had unfolded. Riniel turned her attention towards the Elven High Council, who was dealing with a rogue. A rough looking Heartland Elf, who infiltrated the city, and executed a few of the guard, before being spotted.

"The Council finds you guilty, and deserving of death. The platform to your right, is our jury. These fine folk here will judge with a thumbs up, if your innocent, and a thumbs down, if you deserve your fate." Endriel, the Elven Council leader spoke. His words were cold and harsh, and without even the slightest ounce of mercy. When it came to dealing with things like this, he was almost tyrannical, so to speak, and went so far as to have his headsmen waiting at the ready, to cut them down as he passed judgement.

"It wasn't me! I swear! I can pro-" the rogues word were cut short, looking over to the jury of fifteen, who were ever so slowly, and one at a time, giving him the thumbs down. As they got closer to the last, he became more frantic, and spouting all kinds of nonsense. As Riniel, the last of the jury, raised her hand, and tilted it downwards, the rogue yelled out something that stopped her.

"It was a witch!" He begged on his knees, tears literally flowing down his cheeks like a river. "A witch by the name is Shiome! I swear, I wouldn't lie to you! I was talking to her one day in a tavern, I'd guess a week ago, and next I know, I'm here, covered in blood! Please, I beg you, don't kill me!" He stated. It was unclear whether he was telling the truth or not, and they knew not if he actually had encountered a witch. Nonetheless, they had to confirm it before killing or setting him free.

"Riniel Runthanitu, as our Royal Guard, and best Tethenraya tracker, I want you to find this, Shiome person. Find out if she is indeed a witch, and if she had anything to do with this. If she didn't, it'll be this rogues head on a pike on our wall." Ranthiel, another of the Council, commanded. Riniel nodded, placed her hand back at her side, and exited the council chamber, to pack and head out in search of this Shiome person.

After the meeting with Death, everyone more or less went their separate ways. The plan was to start focusing more on the Chaotics than anything else, especially on the roads the were more traveled, although the more desolate roads weren't much more safe. Ja'Tahr sat looking at her blade, wondering how many had fallen to it. Providing mercenary work was rather dull, as it was always the same thing, but it was something to do.

She heard a few people saying something about teaming up and heading out. It was no surprise that Death would be offer a magical upgrade to the weapon of the most efficient slayer. Qo wanted that prize, but didn't know where to start. The places with the most would obviously be the best, but that's why multiple people were going in teams. Claiming an area wouldn't do much besides get on peoples bad side, and that would only serve to start a fight, something she didn't want to do needlessly.

Riniel continued making her way, and knew the basic idea of where her little witch friend was, although to track her down, she'd still need to ask around. Riniel wasn't one to shirk her duties. Rin knew she had to find and question Shiome, and she intended to do just that. Whether or not the rogue was speaking true was irrelevant. Riniel believed he deserved his fate, regardless of being manipulated by a witch.

She believed he was weak for being manipulated, and therefore, was undeserving of his life. If this Shiome person was to blame, the necessary actions were to be taken then. But until then, she didn't need to take any excess action.

The wood elf looked to the sky, which was storming rather harshly, the rain stinging her face slightly with each drop. Continuing her walk, she thought about why someone would target Tethenraya in the first place, aside from petty thieves and murderers with no real intention. They were peaceful to all, and traded with almost every known city and town from before the incident. Riniel wanted answers as soon as possible, and headed off in a jogging pace towards the closest city to her.

Character: Akuri
Interactions: Whomever is in the village or immediate area
City/Town: LonLon Plains
Weather: Initiation of Storm
Time of day: Noon

A light drizzle began to fall upon the village, which became gradually heavier as one would expect from a thunderstorm. The cloud flashed white occasionally, then all of a sudden a colossal thunderbolt plummeted to the ground. The grass was scorched where it had hit, and sparks still flickered across the bare dirt. In the center of the circular burn lay a stone about the size of melon, which was glowing faintly. The sparks were drawn towards this stone, and when the last was absorbed, a myriad of intricate fractures appeared on the stone's surface, and like an overly enthusiastic chick, a monster exploded from within the egg. To begin with, it was bulbous swirls of gas much darker than the cloud, but after a few seconds it took shape and the storm golem presented itself before the village. It towered over the heads of everyone in its presence, standing thrice as tall as even the watch tower. Sparks jumped around its hazy fists. It had no lower body or head, and instead was attached to the floor at the waist. Inside its chest area and crystalline ribcage (the only solid part of its structure that wasn't made of cloud), floated 5 icy blue crystals that looked like they were fragments of the stone the beast had hatched from. Akuri stared at the monster for a short time, before shouting out to whomever was listening. Though she didn't doubt she could probably destroy it on her own, she figured she may as well get the remaining harbingers to help. "Anyone who cares; there's a time fracture inside that creature. I reckon that's its weak spot." She didn't wait for a response, and instead threw out several of her magical strings. To each, she attached a copy of herself, before contracting the strings and catapulting the copies towards the construct with surprising speed. The first was sheared in half by a stray spark, but the other two managed to make contact with the beast, before being electrocuted on impact with the cloudy parts. All three exploded into a swarm of pink and white butterflies which fluttered off and faded after a few seconds.

City/Town: LonLon Plains, outside a tavern
Weather: Dark and Cloudy, Storm brewing nearby.
Time of day: Noon

Mycel had been sitting by a tree near by a close tavern. Many villagers had walked around it, but the mushroom man had paid no attention to them, as he had been resting his head, or more like his cap, in the nature of a tree. Touching the tree whose roots the mushroom man had sat upon, he communed with the tree, being on of the first in a long while to be able to do this. It was an old tree, about several decades old, sitting outside this tavern. Many years of time had been spent with this tree, from famous lovers to famous warriors that gathered around. The tavern itself must have faced many different times in it's decades of being around. The tree even told Mycel that it was why the Tavern was named, which appeared to Mycel: The Whispering Willow. "My you are not as old as the ancients, but yet a firm tree my friend, I'm glad to be able to commune with you and learn this knowledge you have shared with me. Thank you dear friend. Do you have a name by any chance?" The tree responded back with a silence that Mycel understood, "Whisper is it, I see, many people have given you this nickname then after being around the tavern for so long then. It is a beautifully, yet simply crafted name, and I have a soft spot for those kinds of names."

Then a crowd of villagers began following the woman known as Shiome. He has seen her before, known well in the magical community. The wind had brushed up against the willow tree named, Whisper, as it shuddered in it's silence. The woman must have given the tree somewhat of an issue. From what Mycel could gather from the tree, Whisper did not seem to like her like the villagers did. Mycel didn't have anything against her, but he wasn't friendly towards her either, as he had never met her. "Well Whisper, I shall be careful around Quicksilver, do not worry" Mycel replied to the silent willow, disconnecting the communication connection, and following after Shiome, who had moved near the tavern.

The mushroom being had come near to watch the magic she was performing, by the looks of it. He was somewhat fascinated himself by the female mages prowess. "Amazing indeed," he spoke to himself, "Much like what most of the magical community speaks of." He had no idea that he was actually speaking out loud to anyone in particular. Even Mycel himself presented some sort of power, as it emanated from his body and staff. The green orb on it had glowed brightly in response to the magics being displayed by Quicksilver Shiome. He was quietly pondering this effect, as it must have been charging itself up from the magic in the air. "Well, Quicksilver Shiome, you put on a great show, that's for sure" He spoke louder this time, presenting himself with some form of diplomacy. He was a leader so it was to be expected, but what was not to be expected was his slight timidness as he greeted her.

Character: Tlilpotonqui Baran
Interactions: Currently flying by himself/ Following up on Assassination Target: Riniel
City/Town: LonLon Plains/ Near Tethenraya Orelon Forest
Weather: Storming already
Time of day: Noon

Tlilpotonqui had flapped his wings in the air, the rain pulsing against his entire body as he flew solo. He was in the air trying to head to the location of Tethenraya Orelon Forest for a hit, as some of the old Fate's Hand Knights would call it. They weren't particularly knights, but were the idea of knights, as they protected the Shade order known as Fate's Hand. The assassin school that trained him was not a misnomer, unlike the naming of the warrior order that protected the origin order. Tlilpotonqui had met with the Shade's main leaders, a council of people led by many names, they reminded him somewhat of elves, in a way, as they had similar differences. That did not matter in the current situation though to Tlilpotonqui, so he moved that memory aside as if he were an automaton almost.

Being nearly several hundred feet in the air, it was one of the usual things that Tlilpotonqui had done to find his targets, but in this storm it was going to be extremely difficult, especially with all the lightning that kept trying to strike at him. Some times metal feathers were a curse. But Tlilpotonqui braved on, even though his armor was somewhat of a load to carry in the compact case on his back. 'Never go out in a storm with your armor on,' they say, 'you might become more of a lightning rod.' Must be painful, Tlilpotonqui had thought as he was busy still dodging lightning. Amazingly it was somewhat graceful.

Finally, after a long flight, Tlilpotonqui had gotten into the trees of the forest he had to go to, Tethenraya Orelon. The trees' seemed nice, as did their energies when it came to stormy weather. Somewhat like a mix of colors when the rain came around. The lightning was not all there though thankfully, way less than he needed. But something had caught his eye, his target, Riniel Runthanitu. Her aura was quite the treat by the looks of it, and it was time to get this contract over with. Maybe the contractor would give him a better reward if he brought her head. She did have a silver tongue after all.

Shiome had grown a little bored of pointless show magic for now, and the crowd dissipated after she murmured a few words to them. She smiled strangely at the Mushroom man who stood before her, though it wasn't an open smile and might even have looked fake. "A mushroom man. It's been a long time since I've seen one of you guys around. Must have been a couple of centuries ago now. I'd love to talk, but there's somewhere I really need to be so we'll have to converse later." She stood up and picked an item off the table. It was covered in cloth so it was difficult to tell exactly what it was, but from how Shiome was carrying it, it looked to be an unnaturally heavy melon.

Mycel followed along after the magical being, noticing the melon sized object in the wrapped in cloth. It seemed somewhat peculiar to the mushroom man, and had an energy that Mycel could not take his eyes off of. He only saw in the colors of natural energies, but this natural energy seemed somewhat...haunting in a way. He had no idea why, but maybe it was the fact that he was perceiving it to be dark due to be wrapped in cloth. What is that she is carrying with her...I wonder...Mycel had thought to himself. He then shook his head returning to conversation, to try and tell himself what to even say.

"Well, you have met with one of my citizens then have you? It's not every day that they get out, not unless we need to get out and gather some other kinds of supplies necessary for certain projects of things" He responded to the sliver haired woman. She seemed intriguing that's for sure. "Do you mind if I tag along to try and help you with what you may be doing. I would like to converse more. I myself am trying to learn more ways of not taking damage to my body. Maybe we could trade secrets possibly as we traverse the plains or where ever it is you may need to go." Secrets from Mycel were dangerous ones, if they were his deeper secrets that is. As he tried to converse with the woman, he overlooked her energy. Silver, but of fairy origin. My, such interesting origin, he thought to himself. Though Mycel did not know the intentions that Shiome had, she did seem interesting.

Tlilpotonqui had landed onto a tree, wide enough for him to prepare his armor at the least. He checked entire area of the branch to double up on it and see if it was just the right width for him to put his armor on. After about a few minutes of analyzing it, Tlilpotonqui had pulled the case off of his back setting it onto the branch evenly, and opening it to pull out his armor. Placing on his chest plate first, he closed the complicated mechanism for his back within minutes, as the chest plate was compact and it extended, pulling over his abdomen. Then he placed on his armor for his arms, first the shoulder pieces, then the upper arms, next was fore arms, and then hands. After that the compact armor was then pulled together to complete full arm armor. The third thing to place on was his armored leggings and his boots as well. It didn't take long to put those on though either, as he connected them together.

Tlilpotonqui was going to place his helmet on after he placed his weapons in their correct slots. First the black handled rapier belonged at his right side of his waist. Then the dual spear staff which split into two mini spears, on the left side of his waist. The bladed whip was placed at his backside, and his crossbow placed in between his wings. Then he placed his retractable claw gauntlets on, keeping the blades held back that way he can do some parrying if need be. Then he placed his kunai in different slots around his body, finally placing his helmet on ready to take on his target. The chain mail of the helmet hung low, and the eye holes showing the Valkyrian's two different eyes.

He looked down at the case, closed it and picked it up. The man then moved closer towards the inside of the tree and placed the case in a large notch in the tree to hide it in. Then he jumped down off of the branch to fly towards his target. He kept himself in an altitude that was not really noticeable, but then again he had problems with that too. Tlilpotonqui flew over head of Riniel, circling over head. If any Elves had been in the trees up above they definitely would have noticed him, even attacked if they wanted to. So, Tlilpotonqui had steered clear of any extremely large trees, in case if any Elves were hidden in any nooks and crannies.

Falon watched the witch from his seat. He knew of her presence alright.. she had caused quite some trouble here and there. There was always SOMETHING having to do with her in terms of random happenings. More so now than ever. Monster attacks were raising, there was the occasional bandit who heard there were magical treasures here. Some came from other towns just to maybe even see a glimpse of her magic.

The elf was thankful that she didn't pay too much attention to how things operated in this town and it's people, and was just deciding to grace them with her person every so often. With each time she showed up, Falon had to fight someone or something off. So, he was going to make sure nothing was going to do anything for the time being. Just before she stood up and walked off, Falon made himself known to her and Mycel by standing up and blocking her way for a couple seconds. "You're going to hear me out, Shiome. Okay? If there's any funny stuff going on here soon, you're going to be blamed for it. Alright? I'm not much too fond of the magical items you bring around town and the gravity of what they actually are."

Falon looked over to Mycel with a smile now, just noticing his presence behind her. "Oh! You're new here. Hello!" Falon nodded, introducing himself with a quick look to his body. "I'm a guard for this town. You've met Shiome, our magic person who lives in the town.. lately we've been having mysterious attacks just after her appearance in the town, and she's been suspected for foul play every time it happens. She's acting suspicious.. so, as a clean slated person, could you watch over her for me? Make sure she doesn't do something out of line?" He had asked before, looking outside, seeing the storm brewing. A quick sigh and he bowed to both of them. "My presence is required elsewhere, I'm gunna help all the citizens home."

And with that, he was out in the storm and drizzle, helping the towns people move quicker into their homes and securing their doors and windows for the oncoming rain. He kept his mind off of Shiome for more than a couple minutes.. and there was a large crack of lightning that was summoning a giant Golem like monster. No lower half, and it doesn't seen to have a head. Well shit.. He'd sigh under his breath before Akuri had appeared. He rushed to her, Sword and shield drawn.

"Time Fracture? What in the HELL are you talking about?! I'm just a simple guard, but.. hopefully I can be of some help. I don't know magic, but I can take and dish out damage well. What do you think I can do?" His eyes, while filled with courage and determination, was slightly fearful as he looked to the massive Golem. Unsure of what he can even do to protect the towns people. The Golem wasn't that far from his farm either.. which worried him greatly. Would his family be okay? Should he rush home to protect them instead? Who knew.. he simply waited for instruction.

City/Town: Tethenraya Orelon Forest

Time of day: Noon (Before the Golem)

Tips, tips, tips.. All of these anonymous tips. Nothing to do with them. Nothing to go off of. How should he even attempt to follow these up when each and every one of them is in the same place, but describing totally different people! Sado grit his teeth, giving a large frown as he did, crumpling up the tiny pieces of paper in his hand as they were slowly beginning to grow red from his aura control. After a microsecond had passed, he had stabbed several needles through each paper, beginning to chuck each and every one into the ground and trees, making one huge mess as he screamed into the sky.

Well.. there was ONE paper, one he had gotten from an actual reliable source. Some elf that wanted money or something. They didn't look important. There was some kind of trial going on today, something had happened.. and an elf was sent out to find a witch. Or that what was rumored.. that was what he could make out from the man's breath, which was ragged. Likely cause he was scared. Wait, why was he scared? Oh right, he had put a sword or two to his neck. "Hey, Sucker.." Sado laughed to himself as he began to develop it into a cackle instead as he remembered that he had actually send the sword through the man's tongue and out his head.

The trees rustled. Branches bending in the distance.. Someone was moving fast. Rain couldn't do that. Oooh! And something is flying in the sky! He had caught a glimpse of it.. he was sure. This was definitely going to be interesting. "Hyena's always follow the Lion to catch the prey after they fail or to eat off of the scraps~" He reasoned to himself as he lashed out a hand to a branch, a red trail sprouting forth. Crystals forming in the color to form a sturdy chain that brought him into the canopy of the tree. "Cat and mouse, cat and mouse.. cat.. wait, it's more like an Eagle right? That's dumb, Eagle and Mouse..Eagle and Rat maybe. Who knows. I just want to see the blood.." He continued to follow behind, using chains to pull himself to each tree and hopping around on each branch as he did. Stopping to watch Tlil' place on his armor.

Metal on his wings.. armor protects most everything. Wings have armor on their bones, all except for the joint so that it can move.. The joints of the armor is weak but it still covers him.. metal seems to be made from a shining alloy.. the patterns are weird, but it's more than strong enough to stop most blades on their first swing. Best weapon to fight him with would seem to be a sickle, hook him in and they won't get out.. maybe add a chain could add to my advantage as well. The man looked closer, squinting his eyes as he slipped the eye patch off of his left eye, placing it on his head instead. There is small weapons on his leg.. seems to be in pouches and concealed well, can't tell exactly how many or how deadly they are. Bladed whip, easy to stop.. stay out of range and catch it with a chain to hook it in and snap the metal or render it useless for any further combat by using it to my advantage.. Sword seems to be in good condition. Feathers made of a thing sheet of metal, probably can be used to cut. His race is something i've not seen before.. proceed with caution, Blood-Line traits are more than an issue when dealing with someone new.

Tlil' could sense him now. A devilish aura, large and emitting from behind him and his target. Fear, Suppression, Anger, all negative and incapacitating feelings could wash over both of them should they get close enough. His murderous intent was not easily hidden.. An even deeper red could be seen around him, as he was emitting his Aura field for ease of use. Something that he could command at will. A grin plastered across his face as he looked up to Tlil' and in front as the back of Rinel as he closed in on both of them. "This is going to be fun to participate in, Bird Man! Do you want to test which one of us three can last the longest!?" He maniacally laughed out loud, loud enough for Rinel to finally hear him if she couldn't before. Warning her of his approach, as well as someone else it would seem.

If she wanted to get out and hide, now would be the time. She was going to be relentlessly chased by both of these men, should one live if they battle.

~Riniel~

Riniel could sense the presence of three individuals. Two behind her, though she knew not their distance, and one who seemed to be ahead of her, and... above, yet seemingly falling at a fast rate. Of the two that were behind her, one seemed fixated on her, and the other fixated on the both of them. One flying, the other in a tree, or at least higher up than her. Riniel slowed to a stop, just in a clearing, where looking up, she saw the person fixated on her flying in a circular pattern, and the other was rather hidden.

The third could be seen falling toward the ground at an immense speed, surely enough to kill a mere human. Without hesitating a second longer, Riniel rushed to the nearest tree, bouncing off of it with increased speed. The intentions of the two after her were irrelevant, all that mattered was that at least one life be saved. As their chase ensued, Riniel climbed and jumped upwards, tree to tree, until she was close to the falling persons location.

~Amiel~

Where am I? Amiel though to herself, What am I doing, why am I falling? As she fell, she thought about the events that transpired. After a failed mission, the creator, a rather sarcastic and smug individual for a God, had cast her from what she knew of as Bliss. She fell further and further, not towards Despair, but rather towards the land of Etera. Just as she was in contact with the ground, what seemed to be a jolt on her body, instantly lifted, or seemed to teleport her back into the sky, where she fell once more. She seemed to accept her fate, and as she fell closer and closer, she closed her eyes.

~All Together~

A few inches above the height of the tallest tree, Riniel jumped, and things seemed to slow down, as her view slowed, and the mysterious character was now in her arms, and everything sped up to normal, the both of them noticing each other, and the fact that they were falling. In an anime-like way, they clung to each other, falling to the ground with a loud rustling and finishing with and epic thud. "Ugh," Riniel said, underneath the wing of the mysterious girl, her leg scrapped up.

"What.. What was that?" Amiel asked, or rather demanded. "Why didn't you land us safely?!" Riniel was unsure how to respond as they made their way back to their feet. "You're alive, thank goodness." Riniel said, relieved, while Amiel looked at her, rather agitated. "Yeah, all thanks to you, the glorious hero. Ya know, usually the one to rescue the damsel in distress is a guy, so don't expect a kiss or anything." Amiel stated, blushing and looking away when she noticed Riniel staring at her with a slight smile, and giggling.

Shiome had met this Falon person before. She wasn't particularly fond of him, and she didn't think he was particularly fond of her either, but the witch had lived for upwards of 700 years, so as far as she was concerned this person was just an annoying kid who didn't know how to respect their elders. She moved him out of the way with an enchantment that gave him a temporary mild fear of doorways, and continued on her business. She addressed the mushroom man. "You're welcome to tag along, but you might want to stand back a bit." She had laid down the stone and removed the cloth, and was now briskly walking East to hide behind a conveniently placed wall, which she enchanted with a moderate resistance to magic. Just as she did so, the colossal lighting bolt fell upon the stone, and the rest is the very near future...

"This creature is pretty much built entirely of magic, so you might have a hard time dealing with it if you can only do physical damage. A summon of this strength requires a lot of energy to create, so there might be some kind of lightning rod around here. If you find a glowing rod of crystal anywhere, smash it into tiny pieces!" Akuri was about to take another strike at the monster, but she turned back for a second first. "This is where that Silver witch lives, right? I wouldn't be surprised if she was the one that created this damned thing, but if you can find her you should ask her to help anyway."

Time of day: Noon ( literally like, IDK right before the Golem pops up :O )

The village was a sight for sore eyes to be sure. The journey from village to village through the countryside of Etera was beginning to wear thin for Freya and the sight of a community was welcomed. In a way this country, Etera as it was called, was not so different than her homeland. People, wildlife, and most importantly the food and drink were all very similar.

Freya followed the dirt road into the village, which was likely a route used for trading between merchants considering the size of the trail was more than suitable for wagons. She needed to gather some basic information about the village and any neighboring communities if she wanted to start to get her bearings on this land. A task that was easier said than done. Most people didn't want to give a stranger like her the time of day, especially one with a sword like hers strapped to her side. She could tell from the few people she passed by that she was already receiving looks as an outsider. She'd be a liar if she said it didn't bother her a little, but she expected as much.

Finally she had a good vantage point on the outskirts of the village were she could get a good vantage point of the area as a whole. Looking from building to building Freya's first thought was to look for merchants and perhaps a pub to gather up some information. Those were the kinds of people and places that would likely be most open to sharing information with her. Freya even managed to make some coin on her way here she could use to barter with, courtesy of a family to thank her for saving their son from some lunatic. All seemed to be falling in order until storm clouds started to roll in from seemingly out of nowhere. Quite the odd occurrence since she had thought the weather to be fair enough moments ago...

If it wasn't for the darkening of the skyline then perhaps Freya wouldn't of noticed a youthful girl atop one of the huts not to far from her. She could already smell the rain coming... Damned be Freya's good nature. She made her way to the hut and jumped up to grab the ledge. One hand was all she needed to thrust herself up, high enough to evenly place her feet atop the sketchy rooftop. With a hand on her knee she managed to stand fully and look down at the girl. How out of place she seemed in comparison to everyone else...

Before Freya could even exchange a greeting to the girl the storm already started to take its course. The rain started to fall upon the town and it didn't seem like it was going to show them any mercy. Freya sighed and held out her hand.

"Come on down, let's get you somewhere dry."

OOooh... The man was absolutely livid. At the name of the Silver Witch, he grit his teeth as he nodded to her. "Yes, yes.. she does live her. I just got through with telling her not to do something like this.. I bet she was the culprit too. I'll personally take care of it.. for now, I'll instruct some of the guardians where to go and provide a distraction for you. Don't worry about them, we have some rubber shoes and shields here somewhere for fighting in a storm I think.. I'll go prepare them. Please, use them to your advantage. Though, I'd like to not explain a death should you mislead them down the wrong road.. take caution." His mind raced, running in his mind all of the villagers he knew was in their homes. Come to think of it.. he had saw a stranger helping him, he'll have to remember that after all of this. He passed her on his way to the Guardian's Hall. A smile was offered, a pat on the back was given for a thank you. But, he was too busy to fully address her right now.. and that was more than evident for how quickly he was moving.

Continually running to the station while shouting out orders in the rain as he clattered through the storehouse grabbing and distributing provisions necessary. Rubber Boots, gloves, Rubber coated wooden shields, most everything the guardian force would need to deal with the monster on their own. Their numbers were somewhat lacking, only stacking up to about ten. Five Archers equipped with explosive enchanted arrows, Five infantrymen that were equipped with slings to fling mud and rocks at the creature for distraction.

Falon could probably lead them in the battle, but he had a witch to deal with.. He immediately stormed out of the Guardian Hall, fuming mad and rushing to the witch's home. "Shiome! Shiome!! I know you're in there, get out here this instant! You've caused this Golem didn't you!? Even if you hadn't we actually need your help! If you DID cause this, I'll let you go without arrest if you actually participate in it's destruction! We need to keep the townspeople safe!" The man was hitting her door something fierce, his voice raised and irritated but not entirely hostile.

A worried look only flashed across his face as he looked out to the Golem. Please, Shiome.. help. We actually need it, insanely bad.

My family could be in trouble..

"Oh! We have another bird person!" His strong and persistent voice over took their small space of happiness, Amiel and Rinel's. She had just been saved, but their pursuant had just caught up. Sado was unsure of where the armored bird man had gone, but he was sure he wasn't far behind by now. "Be-you-Tee-Full~" his voice wavered as he slowly began circling them with his hands in his pockets and his eyes squinted in on them both. He leaned forward, inspecting their clothing, faces, actions, eyes, everything. "Damn, looks like I've caught myself something amazing. Some kind of Angel.. and a Wood Elf that could have information I'm lookin' for.." He began a small cackle.

"Tell ya what, gorgeous.." he put out a hand, fully expecting it to be swatted away since that seemed to be her personality from what he could tell, a finger wrapped around the Angel's chin. "You come with me and I'll make sure you can get that kiss you spoke about as well as anything you desire, I can probably make it happen. Course, that's only if you're fine with blood." A cocky grin, hinting to his hobbies and what not. As well as how delusional he actually was.. trying to hit on a fallen angel. "As for you, Ms. Elf.. You're not so lucky as to be in my presence.. but I think your death isn't mine to claim.." he stepped back, looking to Tlil' who was surely there by that point. "I think it's his kill. He was tailing you longer than I was. I'd kinda like to fight both of you.." Another wicked smile, a very toothy grin that showed his canines.

"Oh Death~ Won't you spare my over and over.." The man sang softly to himself, three red crystal swords materializing just before him. He took one in his hand, the other two simply hovered next to him rather menacingly as they began twirling at his mind's command. From Rinel and Amiel's view, a sickle with a chain was forming just behind the man's back. The chain was attached to his ankle, just under his pant leg to be concealed.

Freya was well aware of how... Well endowed she was, but having her chest examined so directly was embarrassing never the less. She turned her head and avoided direct eye contact for the moment. As expected the girl could tell that Freya was a little out of place, then again this girl sitting atop the roof was just as out of place as herself and it was then that Freya noticed the girls eyes. Their vibrant red color was abnormal, and Freya was always weary of the abnormal...

Freya receded her hand when it was clear that this girl didn't want to leave her perch. In fact it was very clear that whoever this girl was she was waiting. Waiting for who or what Freya wasn't sure, but the way she eyed what seemed like a tavern coupled with those ominously crimson eyes wasn't putting Freya any more at ease. For a moment she thought about placing her hand on the handle of her sword, but the storm had other plans. The sudden strike of lighting was to no surprise in a storm, but the light from the bolt striking so close couldn't help but catch Freya and the girls attention. The sudden emergence of the storm Golem on the other hand was a big surprise. Golems, wyvrns, and giants she had seen before but for one to appear so suddenly and so close to the edge of town was a terrifying thought. The screams of the villagers came right after the golems arrival. Freya clenched her teeth.

"Damnit."

There was no time to worry about the crimson eyed girl right now. Jumping down from the hut, Freya ran as fast as she could towards the Golem. As she got closer she could already hear the sounds of fighting. She ran through an alleyway only to see a man quickly run past the other end ( @Felix Eriquel ). As she exited she saw the Golem and another small girl standing face to face with it ( @Karakui ). When the girl turned to shout at the man that had run past Freya back in the alleyway the Golem must of taken notice. With the girls back turned, the behemoth raised it's clouded hand as if to point down judgement on the pathetic child before it. The surge of energy it was emitting was apparent. Freya didn't need to think about what to do next.

Coming between the girl and the monster, Freya brought her arm up just in time. An aura of azure magic flowed from her body as a large shield was created from thin air, blocking the bolt of lightning that was intended to strike the youth behind Freya. Unfortunately it was not as simple as a single strike. The monster was letting out a constant stream of lighting out of its hand into Freya's shield, a shield that despite being made of brilliant and lustrous silver, was the perfect conductor to the beasts attack.

Freya screamed as she felt the full force of the creatures blow.

The silver witch emerged from behind the wall when she heard the village boy. "Yeah, that's my creature. I made it to test the aptitude of Death's so called "chosen ones". As such, it's a problem for them to deal with, not me." Her voice was neutral and sounded rather disinterested. "I suppose I could help protect the villagers though." She knelt down and picked a small beetle from the floor. She held it in her palm for a few seconds, before it began to glow faintly silver and abruptly leapt from her hand and flew off. "There. Now the town hall will be resistant to its attacks. Gather the townsfolk inside it."

Akuri scoffed at the girl before her. "You used a wall of metal against a lightning golem. Usually I'd at least pretend to care but that was on your own head. I'm perfectly capable of withstanding an attack like that, so you should focus on your own defenses over mine." As she spoke, she leapt over the girl and was engulfed by another stream of electricity. After slightly too long, the stream died down to reveal a perfectly unharmed Harbinger holding her sword as if to parry an imaginary blade. She wasted no time in taking her turn, and threw out a dozen strings at high velocity toward the beast. They retained their velocity and path, completely ignoring normal physics, and wrapped around several ribs. She snapped her fingers and a cloud of dust rose from the ensnared ribs, accompanied by a shockwave which would have knocked unsuspecting rabbits off their feet. The cloud faded, and it was evident the explosions had an effect - where the ensnared ribs were was now a hole, although the ends of the severed "bone" were growing new material annoyingly quickly, on a pace much faster than her own regeneration.

Mycel had followed along after Shiome walking at about her pace. It wouldn't have been long until he had noticed the golem cauing a large ruckus about the area. When he did, he stopped speaking to Shiome altogether and ran off to help fight it. Magic should be a big help in fighting it, so Mycel should be a great help. Sprinting towards the area with the storm golem, Mycel began preparing an energy blast on his ataff, speaking in his own tongue. The staff of his began glowing brightly, as bright as a lightning bug's light.

Within seconds the mushroom man had found the battle between the golem, and swung his staff in specific directions. He made sure that his staff had struck the air to send the energy blasts at the golem. He had to have sent at least two to thre blasts each time. Finally he stabbed the ground, sending a flourish of about five to ten energy blasts at the golem. Then he began preparing a spell for the nearby tree that he met, Whisper, that way it could help as well in taking out the storm golem.

Tlilpotonqui had noticed a second energy, but this one seemed older and darker in a sense. He remained quiet, as he landed down towards the ground, towards a hiding spot that was anyways. He looked from behind a tree then. But he suddenly noticed a bright energy coming from the sky. Riniel seemed to have gotten around to it as she had jumped up to catch what seemed to be an Angel falling from the sky. Another winged person, huh? This should be interesting, Tlilpotonqui thought to himself as he stood still. He was patient, but as the two females fell to the ground, Sado, the one who saw Tlilpotonqui, had been seen to go over to them.

Tlilpotonqui had pulled out his crossbow ready for anything. The Valkyrian had loaded up a steel bolt, and had seen the being with the darker energy give out Tlilpotonqui's position, "Well, time to get out in the open anyways, even if I have been spotted already." Tlilpotonqui then placed his crossbow against his shoulder, his finger on the trigger. "Everyone stay right where you are, I can reload this thing a lot quicker than you think so don't try anything" Tlilptonqui demanded. The guy was serious about this as he was dangerous.

Looking over the angel who fell from the sky, she seemed somewhat peculiar, she seemed off. There was light but something else that felt wrong about her. He didn't know what was wrong with her energy, but it had a hint to it that seemed off, so he kept his aim on her mainly, even though his target was Riniel, he had second thoughts about taking Riniel out at the moment. "You seem different, Angelic, but more different than most" Tlilpotonqui spoke to Amiel, "There is an air about you that seems off, and I cannot tell why."

"You Riniel, are a target given to me by a silver tongue. I would take you down right now, but there is something far more different going on here. My employer, want's you dead, but from what I am seeing, I cannot do that just yet" Tlilpotonqui had explained to the Elf. Then looking at the Aetherian, "And if you are going to challenge me dear boy, you have the wrong, and I mean the wrong, idea. Facing me in a fight will get you knocked on your ass harder than you think, and you must be what, 16? 17? Don't even try me child."

As the lightning spared her anymore electrocution Freya fell to the ground. She'd be thankful that she had enough of an ass to cushion her landing if the lightning strike hadn't made her feel numb all over. As much as she wished the strange little girl could of at least given her thanks for sparing her from dealing with the Golems onslaught, Freya would need to thank the girl for helping everyone involved.

Freya only needed a moment to get back on her feet, just enough time to see that Akuri's own attacks were effective... But at the same time not. The rate at which the Golem was restoring itself was going to be more than a problem for them. Just then she could see some blasts of magic come from behind as another alley had come to their aid. A quick glance and Freya was left with both surprise and confusion. Amidst the chaos, this was her first time witnessing a creature more fungal than man. Still, Freya knew she had to keep both eyes in front. She collected her thoughts and ran them through her head while the mage behind her let loose a fury of magical attacks.

"A Golem of lightning and storm. That along with a quick regeneration...."

To Freya there was really only one way to handle such a beast, one weapon she was very familiar with that could end the fight in one blow. As much as she wanted to use it, doing so would take on quite a toll on her. At least she didn't need to worry about anyone from this realm recognizing it if she did use it. Freya narrowed her eyes in protest to the idea, but then again the monsters regeneration wasn't going to give her much a choice if she wanted to knock this thing far enough away from the village. She'd only use the hammer's power at a maximum of 25%.... There was no need to put herself or the others in anymore danger than that.

The shield she had summoned earlier quickly faded, returning to the air in an azure aura of mana. The path between her and the Golem was clear and there was no more need for hesitation. Freya's legs carried her forward with speed and determination as she ran past Akuri, as if to dart head first into the storm. She could feel it, the thunder storm rising inside her chest. Her body emanated an aura of blue that could almost be mistaken as fire as Freya jumped into the storm Golem's tempest head on. The pain from the storm inside her chest was intense as it instantly traveled through her shoulder, arm, and finally into her right hand like a bolt of lightning. This feeling in her hand as she felt the leather grip in her hand, this was power. Power enough to absorb all the lightning from the Golem's body straight into the hammer she now wielded. At this moment, with this legend in hand, Freya was the worst possible opponent this monster could hope of facing.

Freya's hand arched back and she let out a loud battle cry from deep inside the fires of her chest. That was the last audible noise anyone would be hearing as Freya struck the beasts core with a direct strike of her hammer, causing a defining sound of thunder to shatter the air around them. With this one strike it was clear that the Golem was nothing more than a small squall in comparison to the mighty storm that was Freya's hammer.

Freya had only meant to hit the Golem's core and knock it about 200 feet away, but even she underestimated the mighty hammer she wielded and the Golem's ribs and core were completely shattered by it's blow. The shattered core, along with the 5 blue crystals inside, were now strung out all across the countryside next to the village. In the plains they lie, static not from their own creation, but from the might of the legend Freya wielded in her hand.

The clouds began to part and Freya looked out into the field, witnessing the devastation she'd caused to what was their enemy. As the sunlight started to pear down on the village Freya let out a deep sign. The breath coming from inside her felt like the essence of fire itself, which wasn't the most pleasurable experience. At least the conflict was over with now and maybe that performance she put on would earn her a drink. Maybe that would help quench this burning in her chest. Freya looked down at the hammer in her hand as it started to return to her in the same fashion as her shield before it. As it faded away, so too did the glowing energy that radiated from the runes on it's iron surface. It seemed two storms were put to rest this afternoon.

"Perhaps using Mjolnir was to much..." Freya said to herself.

(Slight note: for the sake of not adding the above twice, I'll be posting from Amiel's point of view)

The storm grew heavier and heavier, a think sheet of almost burry, fog-like rain making it just visible to see just past each other. It stung with each peck on Amiels cheeks, arms, and lower legs. Her wings were also getting wet, something the other winged figure didn't have to worry about, at least not anywhere near as much. She couldn't fly in this weather, so her combat abilities wouldn't be as useful

"What I am, and why I'm here is no business to any of you." Amiel spoke with a certain anger and tone that didn't really match her facial expression. She seemed content, but her voice said that she hated them all. Every last one of them, already. She hadn't even gotten to know them, and already, they were getting on her nerves.

Riniel looked at her rather discouraged, and spoke a bit harsh for the kind, gentle race she was. "So, maybe I should've let you fall and break your neck. Or would that have been exactly what you wanted." Riniel began to walk away, very aware that there would still be a pursuer ragrdless. "I don't have time for this, and none of you could be worth my time anyway." Riniel was stopped in her tracks when Amiel grabbed and turned her around and wrapped her wings around her. What could've been going on in this angels head, Riniel soon found out. Amiel had been crying, and nobody noticed.

The shimmering light that came from her eyes as faintly glowing tears ran down her face said everything. Amiel clenched at the elf and held her harder against herself, almost as if begging to be comforted. Amiel let out slight whimpering sigh, opening her eyes to look into Riniel's.

Anyone else, and she might've stuck an arrow through their head. But Amiel made her feel at ease somehow, though she could feel the sense of mystery and darkness. They stood there, almost oblivious to the fact that there were others near them, until one of them soon spoke up and snapped them out of it.

Mycel had witnessed the attack that had happened between the storm golem and Freya, a large burst of electric energy, as if almost a constant beam of electric energy. This had also damaged Freya by the looks of it. Mycel grew concerned of this female, wondering if she was alright. Thanfully he didn t have to worry anymore as she had gotten up from her fallen area. Then he felt a blast of electric energy hit his leg, it tore it off, but there was something more.

The mushroom man felt a burning sensation, and looked down at his leg, he didn't feel much pain as he was mostly a plant, but burning hurt like hell. Mycel then noticed his leg was on fire from the lightning strike, "Shit, shit, shit! Ah! It burns!" Mycel was trying to wave his staff towards his burning leg to stop the fire, the orb of the staff only wavering near it. Then there was a loud crack coming from the storm golem.

The crack had brought enough force to take away Mycel's fire on his leg. It must have been a strong wind because the burning sensation on his leg was completely gone. Looking over towards the golem, Mycel only saw Freya standing there with a hammer, with raw power surging from it. "By the spirits" Mycel exclaimed quietly, as he could see the power also coming from inside of Freya. Then he noticed something, something most would not probably notice.

"This power, I have seen another like it before, but where from. Maybe a lesser version of this raw, ancient power was seen somewhere else. Maybe in Aetherians? No she doesn't seem Aetherian, something else. Other-wordly? That's a possibility" all while Mycel was deducing this figure out he was slowly regrowing a leg back. He held onto the ground, gaining it's nutrients, trying to regenerate, but it was taking forever in his opinion. Suddenly he noticed something horribly wrong. His mushroom skin pants were torn off on that leg.

Staring blankly at his leg he was motionless for a moment, but then there was an uproar, "Oh come on!! That jackass of a storm golem does not know how long it takes to make these pants or just how delicate the fabric is either. Motherf*€£=r!!" Mycel was pissed, and he knew how to make these pants and even his vest, but it came from his own mushroom caps on his body. And the stitching was an even bigger pain in the ass. Someone had to delicately skin his mushroom caps while he held on to a large tree for nutrients. It would cause petrification in the tree in the area Mycel held onto, but it was worth it. Feeling as if he was naked was annoying even though he was a mushroom man.

Tlilponqui had listened to Amiel's dark words mixed with her opposite face. She was definitely different. He kept his scarred eye on her, that way he could watch her energy levels. Then he noticed she got up and grabbed ahold of his target, which was unacceptable. So he aimed his crossbow at Amiel with his right hand, and slinging his left claw gauntlet down out of it's retracted position, bringing the blades down near his hand, and the grip into his hand. This was just in case if Sado had made any movements towards Tlilpotonqui.

"Back away from the target now, if you don't a steel bolt will go through your back that way I can remove you from the equation and be done with you. You have some plans that I do not know of, and they seem big in some way, but I cannot tell how. Now move away from the target or be struck down here and now" Tlilpotonqui demanded. He wasn't in the mood for much anymore now. Some young teen reevealed his location, in fact Sado was but a baby to him. Now this Angel comes out of no where and is ruining his contract even more than Sado has. Tlilpotonqui knew now that he had to end this, so he was slowly easing on the trigger of his crossbow.
