Cinereus nodded at her response. She picked up on things quite quickly and would do well amongst the sith, but he sensed a streak of stubborness layering beneath her words. That could get her into quite a bit of trouble. It was something he would eventually have to take care of, but there were other matters he needed to address first. "A bit of a crash course on the situation you will be facing on Dromund Kaas. My 'rival' as he likes to think of himself, Darth Vivatris, has recently gained quite a lot of holdings and will most likely make a move against me soon. He will try to corner you during your time on Dromund Kaas. When that happens," Cinereus tilted his head and looked over at his apprentice with a grin, "do tell him that his mother was a hutt and his father was a jedi. Then run before he kills you."

The taxi touched down on a private landing pad attached to the side of a skyscraper, and Cinereus slid open the door and lightly jumped out. He headed towards the entrance to his penthouse, speaking as he walked. "This will be our home for the time being. There are three empty bedrooms, take whichever you like. A monthly allowance will be sent to your account. Do what you want with it, but if it's illegal, don't let it be traced back to me. Help yourself to anything you find in the place, except for the corellian spice cake in the refridgeration unit. That cake is mine" Cinereus turned his head to face his apprentice to emphasize the importance of his words. "Oh, and you might want to change into something cleaner. I personally think you look delightful covered in blood, but unfortunately, much of society disagrees with me." With one last smirk directed at his apprentice, Cinereus walked into the building.

Alesani listened to her master as he began to speak of the situation with his rival. She could sense he was being serious but then at the end when he spoke of what to do if his rival corner her she had to bite back her amusement. That would most certainly be and insult to someone like a fellow sith lord but if he gave her premission to speak that way to him if cornered she would jump at the chance if it ever happened. She couldn't help but grin too as he master did. Having always seen them as serious people it never occured to her that they could smile or smirk, or grin. Until her master had grinned at her the fist time she had never seen a Sith Lord do so. Arriving at a sky scraper she jumped out after her master and looked up. It was huge, taller than any building she had ever seen before and looked back to him as he spoke. Nodding at her words she then bit her lip and looked away as she had to bite back her amusement when he spoke of the cake. She managed to keep herself togeather and nodded as he finished speaking.

"Yes Master..." she said and couldn't help herself though it may have been out of turn. "The spice cake shall remain unharmed."

It was amusing to her that a sith lord, A man so powerful was worried about a cake in the refridgeration unit. Following him into the building she made her way with her to his Suite.

"I know what you're thinking apprentice," he called over his shoulder as he swept into his penthouse, "but you have yet to be enlightened to the culinary delight known as corellian spice cake."

When Cinereus stepped inside, he began stripping off his blood stained outer robe out of habit. He hesitated for a moment when he remembered that a woman would now be living with him, but decided that his apprentice could deal with his habits. He threw the dirty robe on a nearby chair where a cleaning droid would take care of it later, and stood in a thin undershirt and dark pants, deciding what he would do next. He needed to check for updates on the various projects he had going on, and make sure Vivatris hadn't done anything incredibly damaging while he was gone, but he was also hungry. Choices, choices. Cinereus stood in the middle of the room, looking between the kitchen area and his study. Finally, he moved into the kitchen and found something to eat before settling down infront of the counter with a datapad in hand to check all the reports filtering in.

There were no servants in the penthouse. Cinereus liked his privacy, and servants were all to easily bribed. There was just a single cleaning droid, and Cinereus mostly cooked for himself. A habit left over from his apprentice days when he didn't quite trust his master to not poison him. He idly scrolled through the various messages on his datapad until he came to one that made him groan. An invitation to Darth Razia's annual party, and he had no excuses to decline this time.

Stepping into the suite it was nicer than anything she had ever stayed in, ever. She watched as he peeled off his dirty cloak and just tossed it onto a chair. Not knowing about the cleaning droid she just assumed he would get it later and wandered off. Alesani wanted a good look at her surroundings, to know them just in case but wouldn't be too nosy. Looking around she followed him as far as the kitchen and then continued on towards the rest of the penthouse. She had found the rooms he spoke of and carefully considered which to take. Finally deciding on one she entered and streached as she heard her master groan from the kitchen. She smirked a little and shook her head wondering what it could be about. Soon enough that would be hers to deal with once she learned. She was a bit hungry but decided against eating tonight. As she streached she crossed her arms and lifted her shirt off over her head and slipped her pants off. They were soaked in blood. Instead of jsut tossing her clothes around she set them on a stand in the room and turned to the small bag she had with her which was primarily held her changes of clothes. Picking some out she slipped on a tighter form fitting tank top a bit too small for her, showing off some midriff. And then some capri like pants the cinched just around her knee. She took a hair band and tied back her hair into a loose pony tail and fell back onto her bed breathing out a sigh of relief. Glancing over at her night stand she saw her lightsaber and closed her eyes, moaning softly as she remembered the blood shed today. Her body shivered in pleasure. The new apprentice was way too worked up to sleep, not even being tired. Besides it was her first night here. She wouldn't sleep well anyways...not even if she tried. Streached out on the bed her body looked long and slender, her clothing didn't hide the scars on her past on her midriff showed. The apprentice was much to anxious to rest or sleep, instead she would just lay here, stay until she got orders from her master. Closing her eyes she managed to relax but still kept her ears out listening for the slightest noise. Relaxed she still kept her guard up, being around sith, you had to. You just had to.

Sleeping, Cinereus decided the next morning as he woke up slumped over his work terminal with painful crinks in his neck, was meant to be done in beds. That was why he had jammed that bunk into the corner of his study. He glared at the bunk as he massaged the back of his neck. Well, nothing to be done about it now. A trip to the 'fresher later, he was dressed in a clean shirt and another pair of dark pants. On his way to the kitchen, he passed by the chair he had thrown his robe onto the day before. His robe was still there, but it was now clean and neatly folded.

Once at his destination, he started on breakfast, remembering at the last second that there was a second person in the suite who required food. As he cooked, his thoughts drifted to what would need to be done. Lord Kali'ash seemed content to wait for now, so he wouldn't have to worry about his holdings on Oricon at the moment. Darth Vivatris had started amassing his forces on Begeren which made Cinereus worried as he had no major holdings or forces on the planet, so what would Vivatris be doing there? And he still needed to find a decent excuse to avoid Darth Razia's party. Between all that, he hadn't found any time to work on his own projects which was rather depressing, but he had an apprentice now. She could be put to good use.

Alesani did not get a wink of sleep at all , unlike her master who slept so uncomfortably. She often stayed up though, not being able to sleep. Insomnia was a bitch and she was it's slave. Slightly tired she got up and smelled something from the kitchen. Now very hungry after, skipping dinner last night, she went to the door and pulled it open , the smell becoming more intense. It must have been him. She smirked a bit. So her master cooked as well? She guessed Sith Lords were more normal of people than she thought them to be. Not noticing her bloodied clothing was now neat and clean she walked out of her room and down the hall not bothering to change out of her clothing. Walking into the kitchen she fixed her long black hair into a tighter pony tail as the rest of it fell down her back to the middle of it. Her scar on her belly showed as she saw her master cooking.

"Good Morning master..." She said a bit sleepily. Pausing she looked over him. It was now that she realized that with his brown hair and unnatural golden eyes that her master was very handsome indeed. At the very least she thought so and shook her head a bit, gathering herself. She was here to learn from him, and to one day Kill him and take his place if he didn't do that first. But thinking it through decided it was a bit early for him to be trying to pull that.

Cinereus looked up as his apprentice approached and found himself inadvertently appreciating her well proportioned form that her too tight tank top showed off quite nicely. His brow furrowed slightly as he noticed the scar on her stomach. He wondered where she got that, but refrained from asking. It wouldn't do well to show that he actually cared for her as another sentient being. "Good morning to you too, apprentice. I hope you like nuna egg omelettes because if you don't you're making your own meal." He slid two plates onto the counter top as he spoke. Without waiting for her, he seemingly dug into his own breakfast, but in actuality, he was carefully observing if she would eat the food. A sith should never trust his or her master, and it was a lesson he intended his apprentice to learn quickly. There was a mild poison in her plate, not enough to kill her, but enough to make sure she would wish she was dead, just to make sure she remembered the lesson. That was of course only if she did eat the food. If she didn't, she was already paranoid enough for her own good.

But then she remembered the stories at the academy. Many an apprentice was taken out by their masters, by the simple trust they had in them to not jump the gun on killing them. But after all he was a sith, she as a sith. Trust should be far and few between if at all. Alesani wasn't going to make that mistake. Intelligent she looked to learn lessons from others to avoid the hard way. Knowing this, as she picked up the plate and looked down at the food. Glancing up she watched him dig into his food and it seemed a bit too eagerly. Something seemed off and she frowned a bit and figured she would have to make her own breakfast. Just to be safe and forced a fake smile, pushing the plate towards her master.

"Not a huge fan of Nuna eggs...thanks but no thanks. But feel free to enjoy it." She said a bit shortly and frowned as she went to the refrigeration unit. Getting somethings out of it she brought it back and used clean dishes to make her own breakfast, a dish from her home planet that her mother used to make all the time. It was some of the few dishes she knew how to make on her own. She would have to learn how to cook more if this was how things were going to be. Sitting down across from him she watched him out of the corner of her eye as she ate.

Cinereus noticed the slight tenseness in his apprentice as she refused the omelettes, quite politely too. So she did suspect something. "Well my dear apprentice," He remarked with a wicked grin, fully looking up from his food, "it seems you are already paranoid enough for your own good." He swept the other plate of omelettes into the trash, letting the plate go with it as well. He had poisoned the plate, not the food. He still wanted to be able to eat his breakfast.

"Anyways," he began in a more serious tone, "now that my morning amusements are over, let's get down to business. Today, you will familiarize yourself with Dromund Kaas, not just Kaas city, but the whole planet. Memorize a map, walk around Kaas city, do it in whatever way you wish, but be sure that by the end of the day you know generally where everything is. If you get lost, I'm not coming to find you. Tomorrow, you will be going on your first mission to the Dark Temple to fetch an artifact for me. The Dark Temple is known to drive people insane, sith and imperial alike. Expect to have to kill quite a things in there. You might wish to spend some time today getting supplies for that little trip. Any questions?"

This was the life, this was the life she had chosen when she had chosen to switched sides. That event in her life had changed everything. Everything...from the time she was a child she had admired the Jedi wanted to be one of them. But as a man had attacked her in their home, her mother stood by and watched it happen. Love...it was a difficult concept from her. All her light had been taken away that day. She killed the man and then once she started to seriously consider being a Jedi or not they informed her they wouldn't take her. All her hatred, anger, Malice had built up inside and right in front of the Jedi Master that had come to her home, slaughtered her own mother. She remembred feeling the warm blood all over her and how much relief she felt. But she also remembered how good it felt to kill and from the day forwards didn't turn back. In fact it was then she leaned about her current master, and leaned much more than she had been told about the Sith. Her desire to full fill her own desires, self full fillment. They could give that to her. So she would take a poisioned plate any day compared to the life she came from. Nodding she listened carefully to him. When he spoke of The Dark Temple she intended to learn more about it and gather her supplies as she mapped out the city in her head.

Getting up she looked to him and shook her head at his question and went and got dressed. Going out into the streets she took out a map, and starting with the building where she now lived worked her way out into the city. Stopping into a place she picked up some supplies and looked more into the Dark Temple before continuing her Mapping out of the city and once she had reached the boarders of the city stopped and just looked over the man, looking at the directions of other things on the Map, as night started to fall she picked up a few things for dinner and started back towards the Penthouse keeping her eyes, and ears peeled, carefully watching her own back. Herself...that was the only person she could really rely on. She had learned that a long time ago.

Cinereus noticed that his apprentice seemed a bit deflated as he talked about the tasks she would need to complete, but really, if she couldn't take a poisoning attempt by her master, she had no place among the sith. Once she had left, he went back to his study and glared at the terminal where reports of Vivatris' movements flashed angrily on the screen. He tried to concentrate on the reports, but his mind kept drifting back to his new apprentice, Alesani. He had seen the passion that lurked beneath those icy blue eyes, and he wanted to see more. His mind unhelpfully brought up the image of her in that tank top this morning.

It was not unusual for a sith master and apprentice to begin a physical relationship, but it was more of an expression of dominance than an act of pleasure. Cinereus grimanced at the memories of his old master the thought had brought up, and unconsciously ran a hand over the scars crisscrossing his chest. He had been more of a pet, an experiment to her than an acutal apprentice. In the end, he had made Darth Tersha suffer for all the pain and humiliation she had inflicted upon him, and the memories of her dying screams brought a slight smirk to his lips.

Pulling himself back into the present, he focused back on the reports. It seemed like he would have to go to Bergeren in person in order to discover what Darth Vivatris was up to there, but Darth Razia's party came first. Darth Razia was a major social figure among the sith. Refusing to attend her party without a good excuse meant becoming socially shunned on Dromund Kaas. Going to the party meant spending a night with a fake smile plastered to his face, trying not to get drunk out of boredom, oh well, he would have his apprentice to entertain him this time.

Alesani returned to the pent house, supplies in hand. After dropping the items off in her room she changed back into her more relaxed clothing and picked up the things she had bought for dinner. Going out to the Kitchen she carefully picked out her pans and started cooking. This was the second of the four things she knew how to cook from heart. It was something she learned after her mother's death at her hands. Back then things had been difficult. She had little to no money, these items back then had been stolen. Today they were not. She began cooking and didn't noticed her Master was no where in sight. As she cooked she wondered just where and what he had been up to all day and felt wary. That was okay though, constantly looking over her shoulder was something she was used to. The food started to fill the pent house with a very wonderful smell and she smiled a bit. She bought more than she could eat intending to save some but now wodered if that was a good idea or not. Serving herself some up she took the steaming plate and blew on her food before taking the bite and leaned against the counter. Taking another bite she moaned softly, and closed her eyes for a moment thinking about the trip to the Dark Temple tomorrow, her first Mission. him speaking of killing made her shiver. She couldn't wait.

After sitting in his study for half a day, Cinereus had given up on the reports and went to practice with his lightsaber in the room he had set aside for that purpose. He activated the red blade and swung it a few times, listening to its hum through the air before suddenly launching into a series of complex excercises. Hours later, he had taken off his shirt and was covered in sweat when he sensed his apprentice's return. He heard her doing something in the kitchen and was reminded that he had yet to eat. He grabbed a nearby towel and wiped the sweat off his face, then headed towards the kitchen, still feeling to warm to put a shirt back on. In his current state, several prominent scars, crossing his back and chest could be seen, but he was past the stage of being bothered by those.

Once in the kitchen, he acknowledged his apprentice with a nod. She seemed to be enjoying what ever she was eating judging by the sounds she was making. He moved around her, noting the supplies she had bought, and looked for something that could serve as dinner.

Alesani hear footfalls and looked up from her food to see her master come into the room. The first thing she noted was that he wasn't wearing a shirt. The next was how his body was built. He was a fine specimen to behold...his body looked strong and firm. She found herself staring at him, her eyes following him with her eyes as he passed her and also went to find something to eat. His body, like hers, was scarred and she wondered what it was. But it really was none of her business, his history. Blinking she went back to eating her food. After she finished she went into her room, there being an attached bathroom she stripped naked and bathed. Knowing it was probably a useless attempt to get clean because tomorrow she would be soaked with blood once again. It was an effort if anything to relax. Afterwards she tied up her hair tight and in Tank top and underweak pulled back the covers and closed her eyes. She should try to get some rest. Tomorrow would be a hell of a day and she couldn't let her master down. OR herself. This was it. An official beginnning...she was going to be a Sith Lord, even if it killed her. SHe didn't care who it killed as long as she would get what she wanted.

After his meal, Cinereus showered and tried to get to sleep, but found himself unable to. After staring at the ceiling of his bedroom for several hours, he gave up. He threw on a shirt and grabbed his outer robe from its place on the chair, pulling it on and buckling all the belts that went along with it. After he was fully dressed with his hood pulled up, he left the penthouse, but instead of going to the landing pad where a speeder was parked, he headed towards the elevator and went to the ground floor. From there, he exited the building through the main entrance, ignoring the few people that were still up and about, and stepped out into the streets of Kaas city.

Thoughts fluttered through his mind, most of them about the apprentice he acquired a few days ago. The last thing he had obsessed like this over was his own master's death. It was probably just because she was a new and possibly dangerous addition to his life. Once he was used to her, he would stop thinking so much about her. That was what he told himself. Unconsciously, he found himself walking towards the place where he killed his old master, a secluded square hidden in the midsts of Kaas city. When he got there, he stopped, unsure of what to do, or why he was even there. In the end, he sat on a nearby bench and stared at the small statue in the center of the square until the first weak streams of sunlight peeked through the sky. He made his way back to his penthouse and prepared for the day.

Alesani would be going to the Dark Temple today. He intended to follow her, staying out of her sight. The mission was as much a test as everything else she had done in the past few days. He was still mapping out her limits, seeing what she could do before he sent her on a true solo mission. That and the Dark Temple was a notriously dangerous place. Many a powerful sith have gone insane within its halls, or sucummbed to the posessed denizens lurking inside..

Alesani woke with a start that morning. The first thing on her mind was her master. Sitting up she looked around and was a bit tense as she got to her feet. Changing into her clean clothing and went out into the penthouse. Everything was so quiet it made her on edge. Frowning she glanced around and decided to get going as soon as she possibly could. Skipping breakfast she packed up her supplies. Knowing about it she learned that a lot of very power Sith had gone into the halls of this temple and hand absolutely lost their minds. Possessed Denizens lurked the building. She knew this would be dangerous but she was more excited to kill than anything. She clipped her light saber to her belt and headed out. Remembering where it was she took her time getting out there. Thinking of the artifact he wanted her to collect she stopped and looked at the building. West of Kass City in the Dark Temple Pass it sat towering. Approaching the building she could feel the dark side energy and she paused. It was almost intoxicating it almost sufficated her. She forced herself inside and drew her weapon. Working her way through the temple there were more enemies than she anticipated but dealt with it accordingly.

By the time she found the artifact she was covered in scratches, blood, mostly belonging to her enemies. She was shaking a bit, her adreniline rushing. It wasn't in fear it was from the sheer dark energy she felt here, and the rush she felt from the kill, the smell of the burnt flesh. Scooping it up her senses were distracted as she felt a sharp pain in her arm. Dropping the artifact she turned and lopped off the head of the Denizen. But there was a nig, deep gash in her leg that bled. Cursing she picked up the artiact and made her way out. Getting away from the building her mind cleared and she made her way back to the city. Stopping briefly she stiched herself back up and covered her wound before forcing herself not to limp back to where she was meeting her master.

Cinereus followed his apprentice at a distance as she made her way through the Dark Temple, killing any creature that ventured too close and keeping the strange voices that whispered in his head at bay. She was a glorious sight to behold, covered in the blood of her enemies and fueled with adrenaline. The Dark Side converged around her.

He smiled slightly as she retrieved the artifact, still mostly alive. It would seem his apprentice was much better than he thought. As she began to head back, he hurriedly left, not wanting her to realize that he had been there. He used the force to speed his way and made it to the gates of Kaas city where he waited for his apprentice. Hopefully, she would survive the trip back, but if she didn't, then she wasn't worthy of becoming sith.

The Dark Lords's apprentice bit her lip as she made her way back towards the gates of Kaas City. The gash in her leg was deep but the Sutures held. Pushing back the pain she did her best to make it appear as if nothing was wrong. Holding the Artifact tightly in her hand she moved with a purpose. Took her longer than she had planned but she made it back to the gates and saw her master. Approaching him she gave him a bow and handed him the Artifact. The blood was dried and smeared all over her clothing and her skin. But her Icy Blue eyes stuck out from underneath the mess that she was at the moment. Alesani had that gash but knew it was only a matter of time before he knew. She had been distracted inside, the voices whispering in her head, the Dark Force whisking around her and thoughts of her Master. Admitting he was handsome he was constantly on her thoughts. She felt obessesed but was chalking it up to the fact that she always had to be on her guard around him. She didn't say anything to him but just gave him a certain look. A look that told him exactly what it was she was thinking. A sharp look of determination still in her eyes as she smelled of the burnt flesh, just like in the jungle.

"My, my apprentice," Cinereus drawled, smirking at her as he accepted the artifact, "you look good in blood." And she did, covered in the evidence of her kills, and wreathed in the perfume of death and burnt flesh. He felt a flash of heat course through his body as he met her determined eyes and the passion he knew to be hidden beneath their icy blue depths. She was going to be the death of him, and not just in that she would be the one to kill him. Somehow, he didn't care.

"Shall we head back then?" He asked, draping an arm around his apprentice's shoulders and gesturing to the city with his other hand. He noticed that she had been wounded, but said nothing. Alesani needed to learn her own limits, or one day she would push herself too far and end up a corpse.

Alesani looking at him her heart stopped for a moment as her master spoke. She looked good in blood. His words did not help the thoughts of him constantly being on her mind. As her master she should be cautious, careful, but there was something about this man she just couldn't shake. Distracted by her thoughts she almost didn't realize that he had draped his arm around her shoulders. She Tensed a bit and her breathe caught in her throat. She couldn't trust this man but she was supposed to learn from him. Somehow. It seemed more like at this point he was guiding her to push herself. At his words she nodded.

"So do you master..." she smirked, a devious light in her eyes. "And Of course., let's go..." Following him into the city as they went towards the pent house. "That was...pleasant. Fun," she said and knew though she shouldn't leaned in him more. Being careful though she looked to him."What's next? More of this or Whatever you were moaning about the other night. Politics? Much less fun than bloodshed if you ask me."

She knew she shouldn't be speaking to him like this, he wasn't her friend, she didn't really have any. Nor was he there to lend her an shoulder to lean on or an ear to talk to. But the words poured off her lips before she could even realize she had said them. Even after that there was an energy about her. Adrenaline was still rushing through her body so she did not realize just how tired she was.
