TINKER BELL, yellow
Tinker Bell growled and hugged her umbrella close, glaring up at Jack when he translated her words into something polite. She hates it when people do that. She hopped to chomp at his finger when he patted her head with a finger. "That's not what I said Mr. Skellington! And don't call me Ms.! I'm not that old!" She snarked, flopping down to the bottom of his pocket again when Elsa made the dome and everything felt even chillier. Tink froze.

The dome was freezing and it was even worse for her tiny, damp body. She didn't have a heat source because the Lord of Halloween is well...dead. Ugh...Elsa couldn't have had warm, tropical powers? How annoying! The peeved fairy grew red when the ice queen approached Jack and apologized, hoping this made up for it. Pff. It doesn't. Get some better neurons Queen Elsa! by this point, all that could be heard from the little blonde were unintelligible jingles as her teeth chattered, curled up in a ball in Skellington's pocket until she heard the ice disintegrate. Not melt. But dissolve. Tink's eyes snapped open and she stood, excited to see her closest companion was back with his paintbrush and a friendly ghost named Barry. Evn if he brought back the rain. Barry was way too chipper for her to want to get close to though. Creepy. So the Never fairy continued to shiver in Jack's pocket all the way to the mansion, suddenly struck with worry when Mickey mentioned Donald and Goofy, whom she missed dearly as well. She really hoped they were okay. This whole disaster was chaotic and scary and she kind of wished she could go back to Neverland and pretend everything was okay, but this ragtag bunch of weirdo hereos need her help. She knew their histories and tribulations, if at the very least, vaguely. She was unsure of how exactly they could fare, but if this is all they've got to defend the Magic Kingdom, they're going to need Tink's help. Sorely.
And they better appreciate her!!
Tink stood when Jack made it into the mansion. It had taken awhile and they still felt a bit too heavy, but she could flutter her wings enough to get off the ground. So now that they have a rood over their heads, Tink held onto the top of Jack's pocket and left the umbrella in there in case he wanted it reattached. Once ickey was in and close enough, Tinker Bell took a flying leap out of the skeleton's pocket and spun a bit out of control onto Mickey's chest, just short of his right shoulder. From there she climbed up and flicked Mickey's huge ear.
"Mickey! You had us all worried, you crazy mouse! At least bring me with you next time! I was stuck with all those fools, freezing my wings off! For heroes, you'd think they'd be a bit more considerate. Hmph." She pouted and sat cuddling (and hiding) into Mickey's fur so she could finally stop shivering. She just wanted this part of the trip to be over. Get to Madame Leiota, avoid the dead and get out.

ALEU, blue
Aleu was brought out of her relaxing daze when the hands in her wet fur slowed and her ears perked up to listen to the jingling of Tinker Bell in Jack Skellington's pocket. Hm. The way the bells rattled slightly and chimed unharmoniously, Aleu got the sense that the fairy was not happy. Either because she was left behind or...well, she hasn't been flittering about since the rain started. The lord of Halloweeen confirmed her latter suspicion. Tinker Bell cannot fly in the rain. her delicate wings probably grow too heavy, so even though Jack's translation sounded less agitated than Tink's words, Aleu understood the want for shelter.
As much as the wolf loved the rain, she was one of those who could tolerate the wet and cold, for a long while anyway. She had to learn to pay attention to the viewpoints of those without a fur coat. Yes, this mission will definitely be a learning experience for the pack leader.
Agreeing with Goliath, Aleu followed him through the mud and claimed a spot on the boulder beside him right after catching a piece of bread tossed by...Eugene was his name? She chomped eagerly, swallowing it in three bites without having to use her muddy paws. She hasn't tasted bread, again since leaving Jenna. Man, spending time with humans is going to be such a contrast from the life she's led apart from the first year she spent being afraid of them. They had never accepted her as who she was and now...everything is so different.. She even snickered when Eugene slapped the pirate(@TyratheTyrant) with a piece of cheese. Though Goliath glared, she didn't regret it, and neither did Eugene. For good reason, considering it was his mate that had been threatened.
With that, Elsa, turned toward the Lord of Halloween showed just what her powers can do on such an effortless level for her. Aleu watched, wide eyed as a dome, created completely out of ice, formed around them, building on itself magically and seemlessly. It truly was magnificent. The queen is a great asset to this team. Aleu would make sure to remember that.
request__aleu_in_snow_by_emberwolfsart-d50uoxs.png

Unfortunately however, it was not long until the break was over and the ice dome was dissolving on the outside. At first, her hackles rose and Aleu leaped in front to defend against the ghosts or whatever else decided to destroy the structure keeping them dry. But there was no foe at all. Only a magical mouse-boy wielding a paintbrush and leading them successfully towards the mansion. Aleu instantly snapped back into alert mode, keeping her senses heightened to ignore the rain and pay attention to everything else, even as she did as Mickey commanded and continued to sing for the ghosts.
She wasn't sure who Donald and Goofy were or what had happened to them, but she hoped they were all right, especially when she saw Mickey seem so worried that he bumped into a ghost. Hard enough to have to pop his nose back into place like a plastic bottle. Odd, but strangely comical.

Once Benny told them of the room and meeting Madame Leota, Aleu shivered to hear she would be stepping into a weeping bride's room. Poor Melanie. So naive.
The brave wolf was willing to go inside of course, to make sure they would stay together, but if she couldn't make it into the room with four legs and a tail, she felt a tad discouraged.
Eugene seemed to share some sort of inside joke with his wife about climbing this way, Goliath explained how he was not concerned about scaling the wall. That was clear by his talons. The ones that had stroked through her fur not too long ago and now outstretched to assist her. She smiled a little, and slowly climbed up onto his massive shoulders, where she could crouch and balance easily.

Elsa let her eyes travel up the bed-sheet rope, and then to Alue who she knew was most definitely not going to be able to climb. She looked at Goliath she was not going let him carry everyone up the wall, "Wait" she said wondering if they had forgotten what she could do. She softly grabbed Jack's sleeve "Let me help" she said standing back from her group, with a soft wave of her hand a stare case appeared with no effort at all.

Rapunzel followed Eugene to the log, her short black hair plastered to her head and her cloak wrapped tightly about her arms. She smiled warmly at her husband when he placed his cloak upon the wet log, but quietly worried that he might catch a cold; a worry that grew when Elsa erected the dome of ice, which stopped the rain, but noticeably dropped the ambient temperature.

After claiming her seat, she snuggled into her husband. The warmth of his body helped ward away the cold, at least for the moment. She politely refused whatever food he offered her and seemed content to simply snuggle until Mickey returned.

The sudden dissipation of a section of Elsa's dome revealed the Mouse, much to everyone's relief.

The former blonde rose from the log, pulled her cloak tightly about her, and followed Mickey. She was wary of the ghost, but he wasn't half as scary as Mother Gothel. It wasn't long before she was laughing amusedly at his goofiness.

Outside the manor, Rapunzel waited for her turn to scale the bed sheets. As her husband had suggested, they did have experience climbing towers, though that experience quickly became irrelevant when Elsa erected a magical staircase of ice. Being the practical girl she was, Rapunzel quickly abandoned the bed sheet rope and climbed the stairs.

After seeing all of his companions do what they could to assist each other, Mickey knew that he had gathered a great group of friends to help him in his quest. Quickly scampering up the sheet ladder given to him by Benny, Mickey entered the long-since abandoned room. The walls were draped in a light yellow wallpaper covered in the designs of lilacs, but what was once most likely a beautifully decorated print, was now tattered, peeling off the walls, and rotten. The room had only three main pieces of furniture that took up a lot of space: a large oak wood bed with a mattress that actually seemed to writhe and wiggle, no doubt from an infestation of bugs. Perhaps Flick and his ant colony? Mickey then shook his head for thinking such a silly thing. Flick and his Bug friends already lived under the Tree of Life in the Pride Lands. Why would they need to move into a ghost-infested mansion? Unless it was Hopper and his gang, but seeing as how he was eaten by a bird, Hopper was no doubt one of the many villains who had returned to the world. But again, why would they move into a ghost-infested mansion? There was no food to found here except that which had long-since rotted. The only creatures Mickey could think of who may have wanted to live here were Spiders and Rats. But then, the question came up again: why would Remy and his family move into a-

Realizing he was on a really stupid tangent in which he was listing off the various groups who came from the land of Pixar, Mickey gently pat the sides of his head and shook out whatever goofy thoughts he had left. After he finished shaking his head, Mickey started to look at the rest of the room. The bed, he had already seen, but in the furthest corner by the door, stood a beautifully crafted oak armoire. Much like the wallpaper, the wood was rotten and had holes, no doubt caused by a termite infestation or some kind of erosion because of the occasional droplet of rain falling onto it from a hole in the roof. But what caught his attention most, was a strange noise that faintly echoed in the room:

Ba-Thump... Ba-Thump... Ba-Thump... Ba-Thump... Ba-Thump...

As Mickey looked around to find the source of the noise, he realized that the group was not alone. Despite the merry and ghoulish delight outside, the air in here was much more foul and had a presence of sadness. Then, in the corner of his eye, Mickey glanced over at the third piece of furniture: a vanity table with a heart shaped mirror. The mirror was cracked down the middle, giving it the look of a broken heart. But what made him really halt, was the figure sitting at the mirror, watching herself in utter dismay. It was the ghostly pale figure of a young woman, donned in a wedding dress. In her hands was a bouquet of long-dead flowers, still wrapped in the white paper from the wedding day. But what would've attracted the eyes of any who saw this figure, was the gently pulsating, glowing red object in her chest. In a slow melody, it thumped, quietly filling the room with the sound of a broken heart that still beat for a long lost love: Ba-Thump... Ba-Thump... Ba-Thump...

Sitting in front of them at the mirror, was the one and only
emily_by_br_remix-d4jrhmf.png
, still waiting for her groom to return.

"Ah geez... Di'nt 'tink she'd be heres." whispered Benny in a saddened tone. "Everyone 'b real quiet like an sneak 'round 't bed to 't door, gots it? Don go disturbin' her. Jus let her 'b..."

After climbing up the stairs she made, she looked at the room, The walls were draped in a light yellow wallpaper covered in the designs of lilacs, but what was once most likely a beautifully decorated print, was now tattered, peeling off the walls, and rotten. It must have been really beautiful before it was abandoned.

She looked around for a moment more before a sound caught her attention Ba-Thump... Ba-Thump... Ba-Thump... Ba-Thump... Ba-Thump... Elsa let eyes lan on the saddest site she had ever seen, a cracked heart shaped mirror, inside it was the figure of a young woman in a wedding dress. She could feel her heart pull, she had no idea who it was but it made her want to cry.

She pulled her eyes away when she heard the ghost whisper ""Ah geez... Di'nt 'tink she'd be heres.""Everyone 'b real quiet like an sneak 'round 't bed to 't door, gots it? Don go disturbin' her. Jus let her 'b..."" Elsa did as the ghost said.

Eugene heeded Benny's warning, raising a finger to his lip and guiding Rapunzel by the hand in silence, tiptoeing across the around the room and sticking to the darker, shadowy corners to avoid drawing attention. At least this time they did not have to worry about carting forty feet of hair. Fortunately, living literally like royalty hadn't rusted Eugene in the slightest when it came to moving silently. The thief glanced at Goliath in respect as he saw the burly gargoyle likewise maneuver his large frame in silence. It was surprising - and rather ominous, actually - that such a powerfully built creature was that adept at stealth.

It was Jack Skellington, however, that surprised them all.

Instead of avoiding the ghost of Melanie Ravenswood, the Pumpkin King strode toward her boldly, ignoring Benny's warning and Eugene's look of astonished incredulity. But Jack's visgae never changed. In fact, it was an unusual expression on his skull-like face. Gone was the mirth and merriment that seemed to make up his demeanor. Instead, his jowls were turned down in a frown of condolence and he was quietly stoic as he approached the ghost.

A bony hand outstretched, touching Melanie upon the ephemeral brow. "Be at peace, lost soul of the Mansion," he murmured. Surprisingly, Melanie seemed eased at his touch and words, her broken song abating somewhat and her sobs ceasing. There was still saddness on her countenance, but the seed of peace had taken root. "We mean you no harm, Melanie Ravenswood. We only wish you peace." The words of the Lord of Halloween had special power over Halloween Town's denizens, and Melanie Ravenswood was no different a subject to her King.

The ghost curtsied in deference to the skeleton king. He turned to his compatriots. "Move quickly. Disturb not this maiden's rest overlong," he commanded sternly.

ALEU, blue
As soon as she had hopped onto Goliath's shoulder, Aleu's ears flicked back to Elsa, who created a staircase of ice without much effort. The wolf blinked at the swift and powerful show of magic before giving her a nod of thanks and leaping onto the steps. She followed Rapunzel inside through the window of the dilapidated building and steered clear of Benny's floating form. She had never been fond of the idea of ghosts. They seemed unnatural and apart from the natural cycle of life. That's it. Unnatural. It makes her fur stand on end. Actually, what made her fur stand high was the heartbeat that echoed in her ears the moment the wolf entered the room. Aleu felt cold down to her bones.

She didn't notice the smell of mildew and the noises of bugs int he walls and bed. The she-wolf was too focused on the transparent for of a young girl with a broken, still beating heart sitting by her vanity mirror. Aleu took a step back away from Melanie, remembering the way Mickey had described her heartache. She bowed her head slightly, giving hesitant respect for the dead. She would sing a song of mourning, but it seemed long overdue and inappropriate for the situation. Instead, Aleu simply followed Benny's instructions, taking Mickey's footsteps and only looking back to watch the skeleton king calm the sobbing bride. This was the first time she had seen Jack without a smile, but she doubted it happened often. She nodded at his words and trotted silently for the door.

TINKER BELL, yellow
Tinker Bell was very uncomfortable. She hated the Haunted Mansion. What is it about 'avoid the dead hostile people' that the heroes didn't understand?? The fairy shivered and clung tightly to Mickey's fur, trying to drown out the sad heartbeat of the uber-creepy ghost bride. This place is disgusting. Without maintenance, full of dead humans...ew. Does the gang really need a freaky head of a witch to tell them what to do?

Agreeing both with Jack Skellington and Benny the ghost, Tinker Bell leaned up by Mickey's ear and whispered harshly, "C'mon, let's get out of here!"

Mickey nodded at Benny's words and proceeded forwards, only until he saw Jack Skellington approach the girl. He was truly an amazing King. As Melanie bowed and allowed them to pass, Mickey stopped short just a few feet from him. Suddenly, he pulled out the magic brush and aimed it towards her vanity. Slowly, a bright red rose formed from the gooey blue paint. The ghost's sobs stopped for just a moment as she picked up the Rose and smelled it. Rather then look into the mirror so she could see the mouse, Melanie turned around in her chair so that she faced him. She sniffled back all of the loneliness and sadness from which he had been weeping and quietly whispered Thank you, Mr. Mouse... before she leaned down and gently kissed his nose. Nodding at her, Mickey smiled and gently propped a finger under her chin, as if to say "cheer up". He quickly waved to the gang to follow just as Melanie turned around once again to wallow in her sadness, which now seemed brightened by the simple act of kindness.

Exiting the room and making his way down the hallway, Mickey held the brush aloft and closed his eyes. There was a crossroad ahead of them: three oaths that led to the North, South, and East wings of the mansion. They were currently in the West wing. Mickey knew that Madame Leiota's room constantly moved around due to the powerful supernatural force surrounding it, so it was never in the same place whenever he visited the Mansion. Focusing hard on the power of his brush, he produced not one, not two, but three small blue lights. Elsa, Rapunzel, and Flynn would've all recognized the lights as Wisps, magical creatures which primarily guided adventurers along their journey. Meredith of Scotland had the most experience with them, but Mickey knew that they could be "created" through strong magic. Fortunately for him, the brush had just those capabilities.

The wisps looked at Mickey for a moment before disappearing down the three halls, fading in and out of sight as they moved. Knowing the others had no idea what he was doing, Mickey said "The Wisps will guide us to Madame Leiota. They'll find the right hallway and then g-" before he was suddenly interrupted. There was a faint sound of giggling. Turning his head, Mickey saw the Wisps all gathered up by the door across the hall, forming a line that the heroes could follow. Looking surprised, Mickey shrugged. "Huh. Go figure. Okay everyone, looks like the trip just got shorter." explained the mouse, who swiftly walked over to the door. From inside, he could hear the faint chanting of a woman's voice and knew they had found the room. Once his hand was on the doorknob, the Wisps disappeared, flying away to another world to help another hero. Opening the door, Mickey entered and bowed his head. "Madame Leiota, I-"

"I know who you are," said
Leota_by_legomykeyblade.jpg
in her usual monotonous voice. "I know why you've come here. Do not play me for a fool, Mickey Mouse. You have a long way from Halloween Town to see me, some of you, even further. I shall show you what you seek, do not worry. All of you, come inside. Shut the door behind you though, you're letting a draft in."

Eugene hung back with Rapunzel as the group followed Leiota. Magic was never really his thing. Even with Rapunzel, it had been a brief exposure to the sorceries of the Disneylands, a pittance compared to some of the enchantments and spells he had witnessed in just the last few hours. He felt out of his element here, heeding the beckoning of the ghostly Madame. He took some measure of comfort in his wife's hand as well as another ouce of comfort in that Jack Skellington and Goliath seemed at home here.

The gargoyle was stonily stoic, wings wrapped about him like a cloak, as he silently followed Leiota. He could feel the presence of magic here, stronger in Leiota's presence than before. It was like being in the same room as the Archmage or the Weird Sisters. It was a presence that suggested something otherworldly was at play, and certainly Madame Leiota counted as that. He sensed no threat or danger from her, just that disquieting aura of something not of this world.

Jack Skellington was also strangely laconic, perhaps even contemplative. He had never been within the depths of the Haunted Mansion during his tenure as Lord of Halloween. He never needed to come here in the past. His ancient predecessors and their accumulated wisdom had rarely tapped into the Leiota's domain, knowing that the Mansion and its mistress were of another time and another breed compared to the rest of Halloween Town. Though under his dominion, they were almost revered guests rather than subjects, shadows of a time before that required respect. He was eager to hear what knowledge the ancient spectre could impart upon their band in the coming trials with the Horned King.

Elsa walked more to the middles of the group, she was silent as always. She could feel the magic of the Madame, it was a new feeling normally she would be the only one with magic. Elsa stopped for a moment and watched what mickey was going to do with his magic brush, she gasped a bit as wisps were created, she had no idea that the mouse was able to do that, but she has learned so much and no doubt there was even more to learn. Elsa was about to start walking again when she heard the giggling, the wisps had made a straight line for them to follow and it didn't even take long to find the room.

Walking til she stood behind the mouse she listened to the voice, it wasn't as scary as she had expected at all. She walked in when the Madame told them to and stood looking at her, this world sure was full of surprises.

"Madame Leiota... First off, let me say how honoured I am to see you again." explained Mickey, who gave the disembodied head in a crystal ball, a small bow. "By asking this question, I don't mean to doubt your powers of foresight. However, I must know the answer... Do you know what's happened to the Disneylands?" asked the mouse, with more concern on his face then anyone had ever seen before.

Taking a deep breath and staring at Mickey for a moment, Madame Leiota remained silent. Her eyes scanned across the heroes who had gathered before her, knowing everything about each of them and how they had accomplished great feats in the past. A sigh passed her red lips and the curls of her hair moved lightly as the green mist continued to engulph her face. "Yes, Mickey... I do know what has transpired, but it seems like you and your friends already know. The Villains of your realm have escaped from Hades domain in the Underworld. They obviously seek revenge against the people of the Disneylands... That much is clear." explained the woman, her voice remaining monotonous as she spoke.

This was news to Mickey. "Escaped from the Underworld? How is that possible? Even a god like Hades couldn't do that, especially if they've been banished." asked Mickey, raising an eyebrow as he spoke.

A small smile spread across her lips as Madame Leiota thought of an answer. "Now that is why you've come to me. Its obvious that the Villains have returned, but you wish to know of the force behind their resurrection." explained the psychic, who's face was now slowly disappearing into the green fog shrouding the inside of her crystal ball. When the fog began to clear up, the image of a powerful demonic creature atop a mountain came into view. Mickey knew the demonic figure and its location well, but even he believed that it was only a legend. Nobody had even heard or seen him for many years and as a result, his name became only a legend. But the proof was indisputable: he was alive.

"Chernabog..." whispered Mickey, who was now in awe of what he was seeing.

"Indeed, Chernabog. Demon King, dark lord above all others. Easily one of the most powerful creatures to ever exist in the Disneylands. He is the reason your villains have returned... Well, actually that is not entirely true. You see, it was always said that if somebody were to defeat Chernabog in a challenge, then that person would be given one ultimate wish. This wish could be to resurrect a long lost lover, restore order to a heavily damaged world, or even prevent death by granting the benefactor immortality."
"So, you're saying that somebody defeated Chernabog and wished for the Villains to return?"

"Not exactly... You see, whoever wins the challenge is granted whatever they wish for, no matter what. Apparently, the Horned King was well-versed with the legends of Chernabog. During his time in the Underworld, the Horned King got to know the other villains, eventually deciding to form an alliance with them, should they ever escape. He made a deal with the villains: if he managed to free them all from the Underworld, then they would assist him in exacting his revenge against the Disneylands. With the deal made and sealed in blood, the Horned King ventured across the lands of the Underworld until he came to the World Between Worlds, a barren land that resided around Bald Mountain. Atop the mountain, Chernabog stood and waited for the challenger to approach him. The Horned King challenged him to a game of riddles, which he ultimately won. He needed the ability to free the villains and uphold his end of the bargain. He needed Chernabog. Rather then just enlist the help of the creature, the Horned King did something that nobody could've expected: He claimed himself as the new Demon King and absorbed Chernabog's essence into his soul. In other words, he wished that all of Chernabog's powers, abilities, and even both his physical and spiritual forms, become merged with the Horned King's body."
"He stole Chernabog's powers?! How is that even possible?"

"Like I said before: he absorbed Chernabog's essence. The Horned King became Chernabog, and in turn, Chernabog became the Horned King. Their souls are merged now, intertwined by dark magic. With the powers of something even stronger then a god at his disposal, the Horned King not only freed the Villains, but also amassed countless armies and brought forth incredible and terrible creatures which had also been defeated... I believe that you have encountered such a beast in the past, Mickey. The Phantom Blot."

"Yes... I've met the Blot before. I... I was the person who created it. But it was an accident! A stupid accident that happened long ago!"

"Evil is still Evil, Mickey. No matter how you disguise it, the Blot's mere existence is disturbing. You created a being of pure darkness which was defeated shortly afterwards. Now, the Horned King has found a way to resurrect it. I saw what happened at Cinderella's Castle... I'm amazed you made it out alive. The old man certainly didn't..."

Mickey halted. "Old man? What old man?" asked the mouse, his ears perked up in shock.

Sighing lightly, the images that Madame Leiota had previously shown the group (the Horned King's interactions with Chernabog, the Phantom Blot's assault on the Castle, etc), faded away once again before the image of Yen-Sid's final hours played. "The Grand Sorcerer Yen-Sid, your master. He and Merlin tried to fight the forces of evil, but were vanquished when the Horned King arrived. Your friends, Donald and Goofy, managed to escape with Merlin... But Yen-Sid's attempt to disarm the Horned King failed. He was... Obliterated instantly. His heart was consumed by darkness. Rather then turn against his friends... The Sorcerer decided to end his own life. I'm sorry."

As the scene of his master's death played over and over again, Mickey slowly backed up, eventually hitting the wall. He was in absolute shock. Yen-Sid? Dead? It couldn't be... He was too powerful for that. It must've been a trick, an enchantment to make the Horned King think he had won... But, the more he watched the scene, the more he understood. The more he understood, however, the heavier his heart felt. Sinking slowly to the floor, Mickey raised a hand to his mouth and tried to speak, but no words came out. His eyes watered and tears began to slowly fall from them. This was probably the only time that his friends, or anyone, had ever seen Mickey so distraught. Normally, he was always the positive guy. He always had a plan, always looked forwards... But not right now. Right now, his heart was aching. His long time friend and master was dead... And no amount of magic contained in a hat, or magic brush, could ever bring him back.

The uncomfortable silence in the room caused by Mickey's grievance was suddenly broken by Madame Leiota. She seemed almost shocked, terrified even. "The Sprits have spoken... They say that the Horned King has found the "Black Cauldron". He is preparing for a ceremony in which he plans to resurrect an army of the undead. What's worse? His hollow eyes are set upon the Mansion... You must leave this place at once before the spell is cast. I fear its only a matter of time before-" explained Leiota desperately before she was interrupted. The window on the left side of the room suddenly flew open, almost like an invisible hand had forced it to open. Across the Stormy sky, was a horrendous green mist. The mist seemed to writhe like a snake, slowly splintering off into various tendrils that inched their way down to the ground. The music outside had stopped and now, screams of terror and pain were echoing throughout the house. Mickey was the first to rush to the window, witnessing the metamorphosis for himself. From the ground, burst the forms of skeletal creatures, some covered in rotting flesh, and some stripped down to only the bone. The light blue forms of the ghosts were being pulled into the green mist, merging with it's tendrils in a horrifying transformation. Benny, however, did not follow his ghostly allies thanks to the power within Madame Leiota's room. It was keeping the power of the dark magic mist at bay.
As the skeletal soldiers emerged from the crypts and graves surrounding the Mansion, a familiar form suddenly caught the eye of Mickey. A corpse-like figure with a top hat, a horrendously deformed face, and a cloak as black as Death. The Phantom! His insane cackling filled the air as he looked directly back at Mickey, pointing a boned finger towards the window. He didn't need to say anything, the implications of his pointing were enough to alert Mickey that danger was coming. "Grab Madame Leiota and put her in my bag. The Ghosts are slowly becoming Cauldron Born... We need to leave the Mansion, now!"

Goliath listened to Madame Leiota's tale with growing dread, manifesting upon his stony visage as a deepening frown and a low growl in his chest. He recalled when a human man, bereft of his child who died all too soon, tried a similar scheme to mirror the Horned King's. The human foolishly summoned Anubis, the Egyptian psychopomp and courier of the dead, and even more foolishly attempted to force the ancient god to resurrect his child. The plan was an affront to the rules the governed the universe.

"For the Horned King to undertake such an enterprise and succeed," Goliath rumbled, "how could the universe survive such a thing? Gods exist as anchors, masters of their domains and spheres of influence. For another to take that power…the universe cannot abide such a thing! I have witnessed such in the past, and the fool who attempted it paid a terrible price for his hubris. The Horned King cannot possibly hope to master the powers of a god!"

"The portfolio of a god can be passed, Goliath," Jack Skellington said suddenly and forlornly. As the others looked to him in surprise at this admission, the Pumpkin King continued soberly, "I was not always Lord of Halloween. There have been others before me, just as there were others before the King of Christmas, the Queen of Valentine's, or the Great Turkey of Thanksgiving. Gods are powerful, immortal, but even we are not everlasting. Just as the ancient Olympians now rule, they were once preceded by the even more ancient Titans. Even the Norse know the cycle of gods is forever one of change and renewal; they await the day of Ragnarok, when their time will come to an end and another age of gods will take their place. What the Horned King has done is merely advance the inevitable."

The two looked on as Mickey's face contorted in anguish at hearing of the death of his mentor, Yen-Sid. Goliath, surprisingly, laid a comforting talon upon the mouse's shoulder. The gargoyle knew of the bond between mentor and student, having developed such a bond himself with his own teacher, Hudson.

Their attention was pulled when the skeletal soldiers, led by the Phantom, began converging upon the Mansion.

"Oh hell," Eugene muttered, drawing his blade. "That's a whole lot of dead guys. Come on!" He began marshalling the others out of the Mansion, leading Rapunzel in particular.

"Aleu, your eyes and nose will be sharper than ours in this dark domain! Take point!" Goliath ordered, unfurling his wings and joining in the retreat, covering the group's exposed rear. He stopped near the door when he saw that Skellington had not moved. "Skellington?"

The somber Lord of Halloween was staring at the rapidly closing visage of the Phantom Blot, not a trace of fear in his eye sockets. In fact, the wily skeleton king seemed...tranquil. "Mickey, if memory serves, there is another portal just a half mile north of here. If you run fast and hard, you will reach it easily. Use it and escape. I will hold the Phantom and his armada here."

Eugene threw him a stunned look. "Are you crazy?"

"The Phantom Blot will continue to pursue us, no matter where we go. Once we leave Halloween Town, my powers will decrease dramatically the further from my domain that I go. If we are to have any chance of defeating the Horned King, then we need to survive and grow stronger. None of you have the strength to face this enemy before us. Of us all here, even beyond any of the magic-users in this group, I am the most powerful - as long as I am in Halloween Town. I can buy you the time you need."

Jack ran a bony hand through Aleu's coat and gave Tinker Bell the rib bone tip he had offered for an umbrella earlier. Then he straightened.

Elsa listened to Madame Leiota's words, she could feel her heart get heavy at every single word spoken. Her blue eyes where wide as she stared ad the woman, all this was so hard to grasp, how can one takes a gods power? They were meant to be immortal. But soon her question was answered as she listened to what Jack Skellington answered Goliath.

Her attention was grabbed away by the skeletal soldiers and when Mickey yelled for someone to grab Madame Leiota, so she ran to the Madame and gently but swiftly picked her up and put her in mickey's bag. After this she made herself ready to fight but it looked tho her other friends had other plans, leaving someone behind was not who Elsa was but Alue would need her help in this, they all would. She gave Jack Skellington a soft smile. She would make sure in some way that she met up with the brave Halloween Lord again.

But for now she would run beside Alue and protect her, not that's she doubted the wolf's skill to protect herself at all, she just felt it her duty to protect wherever she could, if she could not protect Anna now, she would protect everyone else.

After she had entered the room through the window, Rapunzel's attention had been drawn to the figure at the vanity. A nerve was struck and her heartstrings were pulled when she saw the ghost in a wedding dress. Memories of her own wedding flooded her mind as she tried valiantly to blink away the tears which filled her eyes.

She mindlessly allowed the gentle tug on her hand by Eugene to guide her around the bed and give the ghost a respectable distance. She wished there had been something she could do to help relieve the woman's sorrow, but nothing came to mind and Benny had pleaded for them to leave the lady in peace.
It was Jack Skellington's action which brought a smile to her fair lips. The Lord of Halloween Town continued to surprise Rapunzel. She found it rather amazing that a being which was nothing but bone had a heart so large. Mickey's additional touch was simply the frosting on the cake or cherry on the sundae, she wasn't sure which analogy was more appropriate.

The Mouse's summoning of the wisps only reminded Rapunzel of how far out of her realm she really was. Elsa could turn her entire kingdom into a frozen wonderland, Jack was the lord of the undead, and Mickey continued to surprise. The rest of her companions were a fairy, wolf, pirate, gargoyle, and her husband, of course, who just happened to be a reformed but infamous thief. What exactly was the long lost princess going to be able to contribute?

She was lost in her own thoughts as she headed down the hall, in the direction the wisps lead. The gentle voice of Madame Leiota woke her from her musings and brought her back to the present. Her blue eyes quickly scanned the room before her gaze fell upon the crystal ball which housed the Madame.

Rapunzel had never truly met a psychic before and Madame Leiota instantly impressed her. While it might not be that great of a feat to know Mickey's name, the mouse was famous after all, everything else the ghost said was beyond a simple logical guess. Maybe Rapunzel was being naïve, but she quickly became confident that their trip into the Haunted Mansion wasn't going to be for naught. For the first time, since she and Eugene had passed through the magical portal which had appeared in Corona's castle, Rapunzel thought that they had a chance.

It was a brief and fleeting feeling. The horror of what the Skeleton King had been able to accomplish chilled her to her very center. Despair washed over her as she watched the crystal ball as Madame Leiota revealed how the Horned King conquered Chernobog, the destruction of Cinderella's Castle by the Phantom Blob, and the bitter and untimely end of the Master Sorcerer, Yin Sid. In the midst of the horror Rapunzel had a thought concerning the Horned King's newfound abilities, but the images which had followed after had chased the thought from her mind.

Mickey's understandable sorrow further captured Rapunzel's attention. She crossed the room to where the Mouse stood and gently rested a consolable hand upon his shoulder. There wasn't much she could say or do, but she hoped he found some comfort in her touch. She shared a look with Eugene which silently communicated with him all of her misgivings, uncertainties, and worries.

Madame Leiota's warning changed the mood in the room from sorrow and mourning to that of dread and fear. Being at Mickey's side, it had been only natural to follow the mouse to the window. A chill raced down her spine as the skeletal horrors rose from the ground outside the mansion. At least it was something she could use her frying pan against; not that she was eager for the opportunity.

Born from a dual desire to feel safe and to protect the man she loved, Rapunzel quickly returned to her husband's side and paused only briefly to ensure that someone had followed Mickey's direction to place Madame Leiota's crystal ball inside Mickey's bag.

Rapunzel followed behind Aleu and Elsa, ushered out by her husband. She slowed but didn't stop when Eugene stopped to talk to Jack Skellington. The princess hadn't heard Jack's plan and wasn't sure what was going on other than they needed to flee the mansion before the residents joined the Horned King's forces. Her mind briefly returned to Melanie Rosewater, and she swore a silent promise that she would help return the ghosts of the Haunted Mansion back to their natural states.

ALEU, blue
Aleu smiled at the interaction between Melanie and Mickey. Her respect for the mouse only grew as he led them away and through the Mansion. It felt cold there in the rotting walls, but safer than the outside. When the group reached a fork in the hallways, Aleu was standing next to Mickey and he didn't seem to be concerned at all by the choice he'd have to make in which direction to choose. She was afraid he might decide to split everyone up, but instead, he used magic. That brush really is quite powerful. Aleu tilted her head curiously when the blue puffs of some sort of gas appeared and Mickey called them Wisps. They were very helpful. She wondered where they came from. Before Mickey started to follow them, she touched one with her nose and it instantly disappeared. Her ears flicked up and she stepped back, surprised at the strange nature of the giggling beings. Hmm...she concluded that she knows very little about magic, but at least the gang reached Madame Leiota quicker. Mickey entered slowly and consequently, so did Aleu. One paw at a time, she kept her head low and her eyes up while the head of a greenish woman welcomed everyone in. Aleu's blue eyes went wide as the sight of the lady was shocking and strange, but not malevolent. Intelligent yes, and very knowledgable, but not dangerous, right?

The she-wolf was unsure of what to feel around the ghostly fortune teller, but as the group gathered in the room and closed the creaky door behind them, she gulped and listened closely to the following discourse, looking up at the others' reactions to her every so often. She was almost a bit scared to realize that Madame Leiota knew everything about her, but they had never been in contact before. Sure, they have future-sight in common, but Leiota is clearly more powerful in that regard. That was plain to see when she began her long explanation of the past and present. Mickey and Leiota shared much information as they spoke, revealing necessary details of the terrible situation the gang of heroes was facing now. A few of the images that showed up in the crystal ball were images she'd seen in her mind for a flash or a millisecond before coming here. It was unnerving for the mystical wolf to see the horrors outside of her head. Where they were real. She looked up at Goliath and Jack Skellington, discussing the awesome powers of gods she had never heard of and recalling the shift of power when Niju had wanted to become Alpha over Great Elder Nava. Neither of them crossed into the new land, opting to stay connected to the lands where they originated forevermore.

Her ears flicked back and she whimpered, stepping back once or twice when Yen-Sid showed up. She didn't know he had been Mickey's mentor. And Donald and Goofy must have been the duck and the dog she had seen in her vision too. She should have warned him. She should have consoled him or..or something...Aleu followed Mickey as he backed up to the wall in anguish, feeling scared for all they had to face now that all the villains are free and mostly guilty for having let Mickey mourn this way. The wolf nuzzled into the mouse's fur, a little higher than his right hip, opposite Goliath who laid a comforting talon upon his shoulder and Rapunzel who did the same. She could hear a very sad chimes. The fairy was crying. Mickey slid down to the floor and Aleu laid down beside him, laying her head in his lap and looking up at him with guilty eyes. One of his tears landed in her fur and she winced. She wished she could have done something... For a moment, Aleu recalled when she had to leave her father Balto and whimpered again, hoping the pain in Mickey's heart would soon heal. It would take time, but she would be there if he needed her.

Which...he did. As soon as she had settled against Mickey mourning on the ground, Madame Leiota spoke up again, shattering the miserable near-silence with a terrified warning of impending danger. Aleu's head snapped up immediately and she jumped to her feet when the mystical woman was interrupted by the sudden gust of what might have been wind that slammed the window open. Aleu barked and instantly snapped to attention, turning to face the open window and the new threat of foul-smelling green mist. Mickey suddenly rushed ahead of her to watch what it was doing, which didn't look good at all. As soon as the misty tendrils reached the ground, echoing screams of fear and agony filled the mansion and Aleu cried out, flattening her ears back and trying to cover her ears with her front paws on the ground. Would someone stop this wailing?! One of her eyes kept focused on the window, but she couldn't see much from the ground. Her sensitive ears hardly ever turn out to be handicaps but in this case...the screeches of the dead are painful. She saw flashes of blue mixing with green. Oh no! the ghosts were being pulled in! Aleu gasped and most of the wails started cutting off only to be replaced by the evil cackle of that frightening shadow from earlier. The Phantom with the top hat. Aleu grit her teeth and growled, baring her fangs as her fur bristled, nodding once to Mickey's sudden command to escape from the Cauldron-born dead.

Goliath plopped onto her shoulders the responsibility to lead the heroes to the portal. All she knows is to go north, but as long as she could dodge the most hazardous dangers, she would try her hardest. Just as the adrenalin began pumping through her veins and she turned tail to start a course north, she noticed the hesitation at the rear and the lack of a particular skeleton king among them. Aleu stepped back toward Jack and looked up at his peaceful expression. What...he's staying behind? Aleu does not leave packmates behind! Aleu barked urgently and tugged at one of the tails of his suit with her teeth, but he didn't budge. He'd made his decision to fight alone while everyone else had a chance to escape... He is so noble. She hoped with all her heart that he would truly meet up with them again soon. This would not be his demise. Aleu howled somberly as he ran his bones through her sandy coat. She licked his hand before he pulled it away and gave something small to the fairy on Mickey's shoulder. With one last lingering look of reluctance and temporary goodbye, Aleu returned to the front of the group with Goliath at the rear, Elsa by her flank and Mickey, Jack the untrustworthy pirate, Flynn and Rapunzel with the others near the center. It was time to retreat.

Aleu took a deep breath, looked back one last time at the pack she was to lead to safety, then lunged forward into a sprint he hoped most could keep up with. Rapunzel had short legs and so did Mickey. She would have to make sure to slow herself just a tad, no matter how the urge to run, really run begged to be indulged.
The mansion was very dark now, save for a flash of lighting here or there in this torrential storm. She could see what was up ahead more clearly than the others but it seemed her turning corners and racing through hallways was not going to help, clear vision or not. So in this case, she trusted intuition and the occasional shout from Mickey behind her. When Elsa smashed through the final door to the exit with a powerful blast of ice flurries, they made it outside into pouring rain and crashes of thunder accompanied by grotesque green mist. Aleu did not hesitate to dash through the mud, leading the rest as she located the portal with her sharp eyes. For those brief seconds when she couldn't see it, Aleu was panicking, afraid that she was aimlessly leading her comrades to their doom, but her internal compass led her true and to the north, she spotted a faint glimmer in the distance! That must me it!
Aleu leaped forward, quickening her pace a little as she could feel the mist encroaching, held back surely by Skellington's intervention and kept from the group directly by Goliath's gargantuan wings. That didn't stop the Cauldron-born from sprouting in their path though. Aleu headed straight for the portal, but skeletal hands popped out of the ground for every three strides she made. Luckily, she had Elsa slicing them down with her ice and Mickey making them disappear with his paintbrush. She could hear some banging and steel behind her, smashing through the largest of the dead...could that be Flynn and Rapunzel, and Jack Sparrow? Aleu didn't chance a backward glance to check. Breathing hard she just kept running, ears flipped to face her pack, making sure they were all accounted for. A few of them started to lag behind the swift wolf, but she had confidence they could catch up before the mist could reach them with its deadly tendrils. With her speed and agility, and the magic wielders backing her up, Aleu leaped through the portal with no hesitation, landing on the other side with a loud whimper and collapse to the ground. It smelled like water in a cave and it was quiet in this new environment.

Aleu got out of the way of the portal, making room for the others to follow behind her a she panted and laid on the ground. Safety at last...but where are they?
When the other heroes burst through the magical entrance without a second to lose, Aleu met them with breathless smiles. They looked really funny as they slowly drifted to the rocky floor covered in gold dust. The fairy's work she presumed. It was wearing off now, apparently. Aleu scanned the faces. Elsa, Rapunzel, Flynn, Jack, Goliath, Mickey, a few others and...wait. Where's the fairy? Tinker Bell was it?

A blurry gold light burst through the portal last and bumped harshly into Goliath's back, promptly falling to the ground by the pull of a harsh gravity with no exceptions on unconscious fairies. Aleu woofed softly and nudged the little blonde on the ground with her nose until the soft bells returned and the little fairy jingled, disoriented as she climbed Aleu's snout and dripped little rain drops onto the top of her head, where Tinker Bell sat, wings weighed down and expression exhausted. Aleu frowned. Everybody looked pretty worn out and Skellington was not going to return so soon as she had hoped. She started to step back to Mickey's side so Tink could return there if she wished but on her first step, Aleu finally felt the sharp sting of pain from her paws, mostly the two leading ones. She whimpered and glanced down to find bloody pawprints in the ground. She blinked and lifted her right paw to see what she'd done. It was scratched in places and raw in others. Her paw pads were suffering, no doubt thanks to the muddy surface that hid rocks and roots directly beneath where her paws would sink into the mud. She must not have felt it with all that adrenalin earlier. Now that things feel slightly less out of control, Aleu frowned and lied down on her stomach for a moment, licking her paws to get them clean and hopefully setting them on a quick course of recovery. They weren't bad wounds. Just annoyingly bloody and painful. She could deal with it and she expected no thanks for following Goliath's orders and leading everyone through to a safer place, though where that place was, she wasn't sure yet. Did someone say...Atlantis?

TINKER BELL, yellow
Tinker Bell sighed at Mickey's wasted little rose thing for Melanie. The girl is dead! And she got really close with her ghost breath and really creepy smile. Tink whimpered when the girl kissed Mickey's nose and he tipped her chin up. Okay, nice deeds are okay every once in awhile but this is just beyond morbid. Tink shivered again and just focused the happy thought that her wings are drying now.
Finally, Mickey started down one of the hallways with the Never Fairy on his shoulder. He used the weird giggling Wisps Tink didn't like very much but she supposed were useful. Quirky little beings, but whatever. At least they made it to Madame Leiota FINALLY. As many times as she had encountered the mystical crystal ball witch lady, the otherworldy being still gives her a strange feeling in her stomach. She talks with this voice that makes you listen and she definitely caught the heroes' attention, especially those who had not met her before. Once the intro was out of the way, Tinker Bell was all -pointed-ears and bit her red lip, watching the crystal ball intently, understanding just as well as Mickey through every word spoken between the witch and the Mouse. The tale of Chernabog shocked the Never Fairy and made her pale as the story continued. Only..the images were real and the story was true right now. Tinker Bell gulped, trying to wrap her head around the power that villains should never be able to wield. The power of gods... Tink buried herself further in Mickey's fur, hiding under his ear as the images in the sphere grew more disturbing by the minute. She felt a stone of dread plop into her stomach and then--
Yen-Sid showed up. Except now it's not good news. Sure, Donald and Goofy and Merlin got away, but..but...Yen-Sid...no...it can't be...he didn't. He couldn't have!
"NO!" Tink snapped at Madame Leiota. She has to be lying! Yen-Sid isn't gone, he can't be! HE CAN'T BE!

Mickey's agony radiated off of him in waves and just being this close to him made Tink want to weep. He backed up to the wall with her on his shoulder and Tinker Bell chimed a very melancholy tune with every movement she made. She remembered how the old wizard always smiled when she showed up and when Mickey was being too cheerful or annoying, Tink would sit on Yen-Sid's pointer finger and laugh at his beard. The last time she had seen him, Tink had stuck her tongue out at him and he had chuckled softly before she returned to Neverland with a smile. She would never be able to do that anymore?
Mickey slid down to the floor and Tinker Bell wept crocodile tears into his fur, leaning against his cheek and trying to wipe away his tears. "Mickey, he can't be g-gone..He'll come back somehow. The heroes always win. Always..." Tink hiccupped, keeping her face hidden away from all but her grieving friend, Mickey. The would both mourn properly when the time came, but with all these other people around, she couldn't stand to show her face. She hates showing weakness. She's Tinker Bell! Fearless, sassy, perfect Tinker Bell and she-she doesn't cry! not unless she's trying to get someone to do something for her.

It's not like she had much time to weep anyway. Madame Leiota spoke up again, this time of danger right outside the window! Mickey didn't miss a beat and dashed to the window so fast she had to grab his fur to keep still. She could probably fly now, but she stayed put. She didn't want to leave Mickey's side now. The Black Cauldron is with the Horned King. Doom is upon the Mansion. Tink watched, mouth gaping at the huge misty green cloud of evil, bringing dead into the control of the cauldron while ghosts shrieked and The Phantom laughed and pointed. Hasn't the horned king ever heard the phrase Rest in PEACE? Oh my...it's time to run now, right?

That's too many to fight right now. Tink looked to Mickey with worried blue eyes.

What do we do?

Right back into leader-mode, Mickey Mouse commanded a retreat from the Mansion. Tinker Bell was good with that plan! Time to get the heck out of here! But just as everyone was heading toward the exit with Aleu at the front, Jack stopped. Oh no..not a noble hero sacrifice for the good of the group! Now is not the time Jack! She wanted to yell, but his argument sadly made sense. If the rest of the heroes were to leave this place quick enough, someone was going to have to hold back the army of dead and who better than a dead skeleton who happens to be the King of Halloween? She hates that he's right!
Tinker Bell took the bone he had made into an umbrella for her with a pout lifting it over her bun so she wouldn't get wet on her way to the portal. She would see him soon. She knew she would.

So with that, the heroes were off, following a she-wolf who got them out of the mansion pretty quickly for one who doesn't know it very well. She was a natural leader..not that Tink would say it out loud or anything. The little fairy held tight to her friend's fur with one hand and the umbrella with the other, covering her wings as best she could when they had to get back out in the pouring rain. Tinker Bell really wanted to help, but the team was making progress on its own pretty well, even though they were all drenched. When she could finally spot the portal in the darkness, the shadows and green stuff was getting too close for comfort. Aleu just kept running, which was probably the best option here, keep everyone focused on forward rather than back, but something had to be done if the heroes are going to make sure not to lose another member here. Time to shine.
The green mist and the clacking bones and the creepy wailing and the Phantom and the lightning was right on their tails so while everybody kept sloshing through the mud, desperately sprinting to the portal, Tinker Bell launched herself into the air, tucked her umbrella into her belt, dodged raindrops and flitted back and forth, conjuring little spurts of pixie dust. She didn't need her wand for this. If they couldn't run fast enough, they were going to fly.

tinker-o.gif
tink-o.gif

She aimed one at every hero below her and if they weren't a natural, heading straight for the portal, Tink wasted no time kicking the anti-gravity floaters all the way through to the safe zone. Mickey made it through right after Aleu. When she was sure she was the only one left who hadn't crossed over, Tink looked back at the Phantom, froze for a second, and got hit by a raindrop. The Never Fairy dropped almost all the way to the mud, but caught herself and in a sudden burst of adrenalin, beat her heavy wings in a blur, pushing into the portal as fast as her little heart was beating. Unfortunately, she did not foresee knocking herself into Goliath when she got through. She knocked herself out for a second, hitting the ground hard and lying there just to breath for awhile before she felt a wet nose nudging her up.
Tinker Bell groaned and weakly clambered up the wolf's face, wet and shivering and dizzy and miserable again. Yipee. She better get a thank you for this. Or some sort of reward!

Ugh..Where did the portal lead anyway? Is this Atlantis?

Hola! Welcome Aurora, Jasmine, and Ariel!

Aurora: "What the heck just happened?" she asked the others, the three resting on a rock. They were in Atlantis, and they were really vulnerable. They had just been attacked, and, (OMG more excited about this than expected) Jasmine was badly wounded. "Jasmine, why did you have to be so defending? We could've run away easily." she also added, turning her head to show her angry glare at Jasmine, whom was wincing at the pain coming from her left fore arm. "I really don't know, but I'm curious who those guys were." Ariel answered to her first question, than Jasmine's, now faint, voice followed, "It's what I do, Aurora. But, I have one question, how did we all get together?" she asked her, probably suffering from the pain. This took Aurora more time to remember. They had met up when they were running away from some bad guy, and formed a little group. Jasmine badly needed help, and Ariel seemed nice, so they all decided to stick together. Aurora looked around, wondering whether Jasmine was joking or not.

Ariel: Ariel stared at her feet. She was so stunned that her tail was permanently gone. She then looked at Jasmine's wound, and winced at how big the scar was. She put her arm on Jasmine's right arm for comfort, and Jasmine nodded in thank. Just then, Aurora piped up, "What the heck just happened?". Ariel shrugged, one second she was almost dead, the next she met these two. It was ever so confusing. She then looked at Jasmine when Aurora scolded her for being so defensive. Just then, she decided to answer Aurora's first question. "I really don't know, but I'm curious who those guys are!" she said in her I'm-really-curious-and-want-to-know-more voice. She waited for Jasmine's answer to the second. After hearing her response, she nodded in sympathy towards her. When Aurora went off into her own little world, she stared back at her feet, still thinking over the fact her tail was really gone.

Jasmine: Jasmine winced in pain as she stared at the bright red scar going across her forearm. That dude was mean, and she wished Aladdin was there. She thought of her husband, making her smile a bit. When Ariel put a sympathetic hand on her unharmed one, she nodded thank you to her. After hearing Aurora's way of asking a question and scolding her, she let Ariel answer the first, thinking of a reply for the second. Her voice came faint, for she was slowly dying, and needed medical help, soon. "It's what I do, Aurora. But, I have one question, how did we all get together?" she asked, suffering from the brain damage she received, but soon it all came back to her.
