"Yeah well, guess what? Some bird is gonna get hurt if he doesn't give us some straightforward answers!" She clenched her fists. "Tell me something, chico. Is your face fist-proof?"
[dash=blue]VIP Lounge and Balcony[/dash][dash=blue]

"Charming girls. The GCPD are on their way, and really..." He gestured around. "I let you into my establishment, escort you to a VIP room and answer your questions to the best of my humble abilities and your answer is petty physical threats?" He tsked a few times.

"I've answered your questions, ladies. If you lack the intelligence to puzzle them out, that is none of my concern. Do show yourselves out..."

Rayleen, as if on cue, moved to be between Cobblepot and Spider-Girl, casually swinging a... lawn flamingo? As she followed, giving a concerned look to Grady and a stolen glance to Spider-Girl and back.

At this point sirens would be heard approaching. "...I have to speak with a couple of Gotham's finest. I will just be saying this is a false alarm, won't I? I'd hate to be reporting an assault, complete with video evidence and a couple hundred witnesses?" He stepped out onto the little balcony outside the VIP room, overlooking the club and spoke up on a microphone there. "We have some very special VIP guests here tonight at the Iceberg Lounge. Play one of our special songs, won't you?" He said over the PA, that last directed at the band.

[/dash]

Meanwhile, on the roof, Damian was seeing a GCPD patrol car approaching. It would arrive soon. But, additionally, he heard the sounds of an approaching helicopter. Scanning the skies he saw lights, but not enough lights for it to be a police chopper. The chopper was probably a good minute's flight away. Presuming he used any sort of binoculars, he could see that it was a TV news helicopter.

I try and slip behind the pretty blue haired girl while Cobblepot's attention is on spider girl. I slip a card into her hand and whisper into her ear.

" This isn't the place or the time for anything physical. Meet me at the address on the card, a little hole in the wall bar I know, very neutral and I'll have some information for you. "

Just as easily and quickly, I'm back away as if I was only giving the blue haired woman a tease of some sort, as I'm walking away with a wicked grin on my face. I wink at Raylene and wander back towards the room we were talking in. Again, I'm looking around to gage the crowd, and make sure no one does anything dumb.

"Outta my way." Anya demanded a split-second before her arm snapped up, a quick shot of webbing intent to glue Rayleen's flamingo swinging hand to the nearest wall. Followed shortly by another three webs for her other hand and both feet to restrain her for a while, if successful.

Stepping forward immediately regardless, she shot another web to yoink Cobblepot back into the VIP room with a quick pull and grabbing both his shoulders to sink him back into his chair. "Assault charge? On a known arms dealer when almost the entire criminal element is rocking new guns? That's funny." She deadpanned.

"So, right now what you're going do is tell me everything you know, straightforward. No wordplay, no vague hints, and zero percent of that condescending smugness. ¿Tiene sentido?"

Harper was caught off guard by the voice and turned around. "The hell-" By the time she turned around, the man was gone. But the man was right, Gordon would get his jimmies all rustled if he saw Bruce beating up on a suspect, let alone two heroes he didn't even know. Well he sorta knew Harper, but still. Before she could meet the man she had to stop Anya from pounding Cobblepot into a pulp, though she had to admit it would be amusing to watch.

One last scan of the info he'd gotten, and Damian lowered his gauntlet and glanced up at the encroaching helicopter. "...Really?" He rolled his eyes as he ducked into cover and pulled another batarang from his belt. Difficult shot required for it. Updraft for the helicopter to account for, and it had to come at an angle so that it didn't appear on the chopper's camera before it hit. Any normal or inexperienced vigilante wouldn't be able to do it.

Seriously, of all the things people had to call him tonight, those? Really? Ugh.

One thrown batarang later, and he dipped back in through the roof access. If Cobblepot intended on making the cops a 'speaking point', he'd just have to ensure that it was far worse on Cobblepot when the speaking happened. At least the girls finally seemed to be taking the right tactic with the brutish oaf

Only two of the webs actually hit. Rayleen was a lot faster than she let on, her legs folding up to brace against the wall as she used that to tear her hands free from the webs. leaving holes in the wall and pieces of drywall stuck to her hands. Landing on the floor, she stepped forward and tapped Grady on the cheek. "A little help, Grady?" delivering her usual punch of pheromones to the Scion.

Meanwhile, Cobblepot just smiled and chuckled. "Two counts of assault. Both on myself and my employee. What are you going to do, beat an old man senseless? Oh, and what's that I hear? Is that a helicopter? My goodness, someone must have called the media!"

Rayleen was ripping off the remainders of webbing and drywall from her hands, and on an unseen cue from Cobblepot, Rayleen ran out to the Balcony. "Help! We're being attacked by Spider-Girl! Everyone, run! I don't know what she's going to do next!"

Meanwhile, the helicopter, the external camera suddenly dying, made the reporter have to resort to a backup plan. "Get me in, close, I am not going to lose this shot." The pilot looked back at him. "You do realize this is my first night."
"Just do it. Trust me, I've covered wars." The reporter, one Frank West, replied.

Sigh

Noticing Spidergirl hasn't had her fill of violence yet, and being spurred on by Raylenes pheromone charge, I move back into the VIP room. I have no intention of harm, but I need to get these girls out of here.

" Damnit, don't you get it? This place was all ready for you. He has Gotham's finest on bloody speed dial. You can bet there is a need chopper waiting for you too. We don't know who belonged to that voice on the recording do we... For all you know..it could be anyone....please, get out before things get worse. There are easier ways to get information..."

I look distinctly at the woman with the blue hair. I am ready for action, but have something of a pleading look in my eyes.

Harper nodded. "He's right. We need to go!" Harper knew that she wouldn't make it that long without the cops seeing them, though, so she decided to call Alfred on her comms to get a ride.

After quickly patching into her comms and switching to a much more secure channel so no more little birds could listen in, she called up Alfred.

"Penny-One, can you deliver I have my personal Batwing delivered to the roof of the Iceberg Lounge ASAP?" She asked. [BCOLOR=#000000]"Must we use these ridiculous codenames, Miss Row? We are on a private channel, after all." [/BCOLOR]

"Think so, smart guy? Might want to count again. Neither you or your bouncer are hurt. Don't know much about that crime, for an arms dealer. I'm going to ask you, one more time. Everything you know, or I'll just leave you hanging from the ceiling, completely unharmed, and let you explain to the cops everything you know about all these guns hitting the streets, as well as why your bouncer chick incited a false panic and caused a scene, which y'know is actually a crime. Anya just glanced over her shoulder, wondering if this chick had ever done any superhero stuff before. So far she was going down a checklist of no-no's. Harper simply let out a sigh and nodded. "Y'know what, fine." She wouldn't have any problems with beating the crap out of Cobblepot until he finally squealed if she knew that he didn't own half the force. But she also knew there was no sense in arguing as well.

She simply made her way to the roof with Grady and waited on the Batwing. "This better be a damn good lead." Harper then turned to Damian. "Yo, Littlewing. Harper shrugged and looked up. Just as he finished speaking, the Batwing showed up and landed on the roof. Harper quickly got in the cockpit, and pressed a button which dropped a single rope. Once Grady was to grab hold, it would rise and allow him to enter the back of the Batwing. She quickly set the coordinates for the address on the card. Just as she did so, the Batwing immediately sped off to the destination.

Oho, this was already a party. Between the news chopper, the current bout of chaos inside and everything else? Firefly saw opportunity. He had the armaments, the men and now? The motivation to act- How many vigilantes walked in? How many were around that the Penguin kept to himself? He was looking at an easy cool five million for doing what he did best.

And activating his com, he spoke as he double-checked his safety measures.

"Go."

And out on the streets, a truck blazed to life as it charged right for the entrance of the Iceberg Lounge, crashing through the lounge and not stopping till it reached the iceberg in the center display. Its wheel jury-rigged to stay on course.

And loaded with explosives.

Set to go off in ten minutes as storming through the rubble to take advantage came the thugs of Gotham. Drawn by the smell of money and buoyed by the power these new pulse rifles gave them as they opened fire.

Streaking past the batwing was a fiery blur, as Firefly made his move. Around the lounge, he dropped the incendiary grenades and lit up the cars to make a crude barrier. Once done, he flew upwards, cackling as he blasted the flamethrow in a dazzling display.

"FIRE BEATS ICE, PENGY! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"This is why we can't have nice things..." Tony said, swinging his sky cycle around, pulling the bow and letting loose a couple of arrows loaded with liquid nitrogen, aimed just so, to disable Firefly's jet pack. "Sure about that, sparky!?" He called out, sending one more arrow, a net launcher, at the pyromaniac.

"Are we getting this? Oh my God! It's a warzone here! Dozens of people are trapped inside the Iceberg Lounge here in the Diamond District of Gotham City!" Frank was wearing his microphone so the audio was going live as he was trying to record what he could using his camera phone, leaning out the side of the news copter. "One patrol car is coming, but... this isn't going to be enough, folks! Masked metahumans are having a battle in the sky as we speak... can you swing over there, hey! Where are you going?!"

"Screw you buddy! You may have covered wars but I certainly don't want to!" The pilot responded as the news copter flew off.

"No! Nooo!"

"..." Just goes to show, if there was one word to sum up reality? Spontaneous. One moment, a strongly worded discussion. The next, a truck crashes through the building wall, followed by a cackling mad guy shooting through the air with fire and a bunch of street thugs armed with the very new and very dangerous weapons everyone was worked up about. The media would be all over this like...well, moths on heat. Nothing like a night on patrol.
"That's where I draw the line." Rayleen turned toward Spider-Girl, her skin seeming to glisten suddenly all over, as she stepped forward. She grinned and dropped her arms to her sides as she yelled, a pair of bone claws emerging from each hand. "Come on, little chica... you want to dance? Let's dance..."
"...dude. You have bone claws?! Little spikes of sharpened bony stabbers. That's so cool!" The focus on the fire was drawn away by this. "Fine by me. It takes two to tango, senorita."

She ran forward and... her spider-sense, if she had one, didn't go off? Instead, she just positioned herself between Spider-Girl and Cobblepot. "Y'know what? Cooler heads. Shit's getting real outside. You wanna spend time fighting with me or helping the innocent people out there getting firebombed?"

Rayleen brought her arms up in a guard position and shrugged her shoulders, bony protrusions popping out from her shoulders as well, those and her bone claws glistening with some sort of substance that made the air smell acrid. "Your choice."
