inherited traits
looking at alex, nobody could suspect he was a werewolf. but in his wolf form, he's big, about eight feet in length, with thick silver fur and amber coloured eyes. certain parts of his body can shift while he's still a human, like his eyes changing colour when he's angry and about to shift, or his claws coming out when he's about to shift, or getting there. these are usually his signals, alerting him that he needs to calm down or he'll wolf out.
abilities
as a werewolf, in both wolf and human form, alex has become stronger, faster and better at most things he never was before. he plays sports like a champ, and is currently captain of the lacrosse team because of it, though his anger on the field is something he always struggles with. alex also heals very fast and much more than humans. things fatal to normal people can be healed by his body, though it would take quite a bit of time, considering the severity of the wound inflicted.
past
alex's upbringing was more or less normal. a lot of his childhood is somewhat missing from his mind, as if it never happened, and all those memories are to do with his father. it could be because he pushed them away or was forced to never think about the man but alex always held his father in a good position, rather than the one he actually deserves, mainly because alex knows nothing about that side of him yet. alex grew up with his mother, barely making ends meet. they somehow always managed though.
alex went into middle school as something of a loner. he had a great personality and everything, but too much on his mind, so he didn't really have many friends, nor was he that popular. he was walking through the woods, looking for his dog maika late one night, when he got bitten. alex had no clue what was going on, and he hurried back home to find maika safely there, but a large bite mark on his hip. the next morning, however, it had been healed.
things began to change. he had better reflexes, had better senses like hearing and smell. and in the middle of the day, after a fight, he ran off into the woods because he felt something happening to his body, and he burst out as a wolf. it was scary for him and he didn't know what was happening, but in the woods, he was met by a guy named
trevor hawkins. the wolf who bit him as a result of not being able to control himself on a full moon. trevor helped alex understand who he was and what he was capable of and alex soon raised up in the ranks in school, becoming captain of the lacrosse team due to his newfound skill in the game -- and every other game. he allowed his personality to finally shine and he feels like things are going better for him now.
present
alex has now been a werewolf for two years, but full moons are still a little hard, especially considering his temper problems. as of late, his mentor, trevor, has gone missing, and alex is trying to investigate and find out what's wrong and where he is. apart from him, and other supernaturals at the school, nobody knows he's a werewolf.
extras
he has a mutt he adopted from the streets named maika.
