    Getsu City/Bishoujo City, Getsu

Getsu City, also known as Bishoujo city, is a large city on Getsu Island. It is one of the largest islands in the world. Being that it is in the North Pacific Ocean, the dominant culture on this island is Japanese, with a slight American influence in the fashion sense and food culture, and a higher population of foreigners than Japan. On first glance it looks like a calmer version of Tokyo and New York City, but it's much more spacious. It is also the home of the Elite Magical Girl Academy, which is hidden away on the outskirts of Getsu City.

The farther you go out from Getsu City, the more green you'll begin to see. There are plenty of farms, villages, and beautiful beaches once you leave Getsu City. Unfortunately, the countryside can be even more dangerous than the city, with Youma hiding in the surrounding forests and often attacking small villages freely. It is where ancient, rare Youma are said to hide.

    On Campus Locations
Note: Try not to have too many character's congregrating in the same area! :) These spots are mostly for character socialization, but may become key points in the rp at some point.

House A - Living quarters for some of the students.
House B - Also a living quarters for some of the students.
Main Building - Where the classrooms and faculty dorms are located.

Tennis Court - Near the courtyard, behind a gate with bleachers for onlookers.
Greenhouse - A decent sized greenhouse for those with a green thumb.
Bath House - For baths. Also has showers.

Training Room - Magical Girl Simulation room.( Max: 2-4 Players at a time.)

    Off Campus
Note: These places only become available after classes.

    Wacdonalds - American fast food.
Bishoujo Bistro - Cute cafe place themed around magical girls.
Getsu's Comic Store - Three tier store that sells Video Games, Comics and Manga, Board games, and also card games. Plus other niche stuff that would fall in the geeky category.

  • Posting Rules
    1. When posting, use your character's name as a header and their location.
    2. During battles, do not autohit NPCs. This includes Youma and Magical Girl.
    3. No metagaming or Godmodding, at all. If you have permission to do so from the Player, then this is fine.
    4. No collaborative posts, unless two characters are on a date , or something similar and there is no risk of another being around.
    5. If you are inactive without word for two weeks, then you will be dropped and your character will be taken control of by me. Posting IC means you agree to this rule.
    6. No sex scenes within the IC thread. And definitely no sex scenes with people not in your age range.
    7. Intermediate writing standards are expected in this rp, and I will accept no less than a paragraph(5-7 sentences) for IC posts.

    Combat Rules
    1. No Auto-hitting or taking control of a Youma. This is mainly for plot purposes. If you were to take control of one of the enemies this may be interrupt plots or ideas we have in mind. Also to keep the fights balanced and to make sure everyone gets their fair share of butt-kicking from the Youma. You are welcome to direct a hit at a Youma, but do not say the attack has landed, until the person controlling the Youma acknowledges it as fact. Youma Players reserve the right to say a Youma's attack has landed on a character, to kidnap players, or anything else that enemy characters may do. This is, again, for plot purposes. Rest assured we won't ever inflict fatal wounds on your character without your consent, and if we plan to
kidnap or do anything similar to your character we may inform you first depending.

    2. Be reasonable. If your character has already used a couple of attacks that require a decent amount of power or more advanced utility skills it will show. Their energy is not infinite. I'm going to give people freedom to pick their skills and attempt to dodge/evade/attack, but ultimately whether something affects the Youma is up to
the Youma player to keep things fun, fresh, and fair.

    3. The first time you use one of your character's spells, please provide a description of what it does in your post, or include it in a spoiler tag. This will make things easier on everyone, especially the Youma players.

Akiko
Museum

@IceQueen @Daz

The screams of fleeing civilians and the sound of the alarm blaring only drove Akiko closer to the edge. She was fighting to maintain control, but the side of her that was turning was slowing taking over any good that she had left. All she wanted to do now was to devour the people around her, to finish off the security officer. Yet, as they made eye contact and the security officer slowly inched himself backward, Akiko made no moves to attack. Instead, Akiko looked up to see her sisters approaching. There was an innocence in her eyes as they came to stand beside her, and she found herself briefly comforted by Azumi's words.

"I-I'm sorry, Azumi." Akiko muttered, lowering her head in shame.

When she thought she could retreat and overcome this battle, magic unfamiliar to her began to circulate through the air. Akiko, frantic, looked around the museum and saw several silhouettes. With her new abilities she could see right through the wall, which perplexed and excited her. Whatever it was held immense power, and for the first time, Akiko felt the craving could be sated. However, the power she felt was overwhelming, and she lunged forward through the crowd, right past the most obvious targets.

Akiko's speed was unheard of, even for a magical creature. She moved with the winds at her feet, seeming to appear out of thin air right in front of two newly transformed women. Their auras were powerful, pulling Akiko in like some magnet.

"What's this?" Akiko sneered, her voice deeper and more demonic. She snatched the both of them up by the throat, and lifted them into the air. The dark aura surrounding her body began to grow, and naturally, their's would wane as she began to suck the life out of them. Her lips parted, and the magical girl essence of the two girls began to flow out and into her.

Akiko didn't know what she was doing, or how to stop it. Truthfully, she didn't want to stop it. It was the only thing that seemed to calm her now.

Miyuki Aozora
Getsu Museum - Center

Miyuki allowed Kano to drag her along, her pace slowing as they neared the center of the museum. Some people were scrambling for the exit, others were too shocked to turn away from the scene. After all, those were the exact kinds of people the museum aimed to attract. She found herself watching in awe, and as her peers moved to transform Miyuki began to question their sanity.

"I don't know, Kano. I think I preferred walking around the museum more," Miyuki replied, dropped her hand to her side. She glanced around the museum worriedly, searching for any sign of Miss Airhart or Miss Shizuka, though neither of them seemed to be around. "I don't think we should fight. It could make things worse." Miyuki's attention shifted to the young girl with the dark aura, and the other woman that seemed to be comforting her.

The peaceful reunion lasted only seconds as the girl suddenly tore off through the crowd, leaving a trail of harsh winds in her wake. Miyuki was still bracing herself against the backlash of the wind, when she looked up again. The girl had stopped suddenly in front of La Voisin and another magical girl that Miyuki didn't recognize. Her heart stopped when the girl snatched the two magical girls up and started to suck the life force out of them with ease.

La Voisin was her comrade, and somewhat of a friend, but even then Miyuki was having difficulty getting past her own fears. She'd never been in battle without specific instructions from a higher up, and after nearly losing her life to a Youma the idea of entering a fight blindly was enough to deter her from battle. The thought of her friends or innocents being hurt, however, caused her hand to instinctively go to her heartstone. If no one else intervened, then she would have to.

Mina Strand - Museum central area

"No clue," Mina replied. "But it's definitely not normal, I can tell you that much." She noticed several of their classmates had also gathered at the scene, and some of them had even transformed. "Screw it, not worth worrying about too much."

She decided to follow suit and transform, briefly enveloped in blazing red chains before her fully transformed appearance stood. "Bit of a difference, huh," she asked Samantha, tossing a lock of now red hair over one shoulder. "Better safe than sorry." And totally not jumping onto some sort of bandwagon.

The sheer speed at which one of those girls moved was astounding. First she was being comforted by miss metal over there, and then she was just grabbing two of Mina's classmates. "Holy shit, that was fast," Mina exclaimed, when she'd registered what happened. "I still don't know what the hell is going on, but I'm not just gonna take this sitting down."

She walked forward, making herself an obvious target. "What the hell is even going on here!?"

Airi - Same Location

Things were going so well. They had the situation almost well in hand, and then...something got Akiko to just go nuts. Again. Airi sighed, resting her head in her hands. If her sister was already that far gone, and worse, that fast, it would take all she had just to keep her under control. She could, of course, keep up without difficult,y but there were...bigger problems. A crowd was bad enough, but more magical girls were another problem entirely.

The air shimmered around her as she activated her distortion field, in preparation for a fight. At least it didn't look like the Military Police were on the scene, but why the hell was there anyone else who just happened to be a magical girl here? And so many of them, at that? She glanced around to make sure that their whole reason for coming wasn't left lying on the floor or otherwise unattended, before returning her attention to the others.

"What does it look like," she shouted back, in a mocking question. "We aren't here to play nice, and since you aren't cooperating..." Her glance toward Azumi seemed to beg her to follow her lead, or...do something. "I guess I don't have much of a choice."

Small black spheres condensed around her, and she glanced around. Two clear targets who weren't already tied up. She probably should save her sister from herself, but it could just get even worse, and she'd have to make a bigger distraction as it was.

"You wanna go play hero," Airi shouted the question to challenge anyone in the room, before launching her magic. The black spheres leapt away from her. They were not aimed at any of the other magical girls, but at some of the civilians still on the scene. If she was going to pick a fight, she was damn well going to play dirty.[/hr]

Kokuyo Kano - Getsu Museum Heist
@Sailor Moon @R-9 Pilot
Kano wasn't expecting anything to happen like this today. At least, not at a museum of all places. Magical Girls weren't thieves, even the ones that turned into Youma. Their motivations were usually a bit more...complicated. So why were these girls here in the first place? She knew some of the artifacts in the museum were valuable, obviously, but these girls were just out in the open, letting their identities be known. Not making for very good thieves. Though the brunette enjoyed a good fight, she wasn't sure if it was the best idea. That was, at least, until Momoji and Charee transformed, which caused the shortest of the three girls to attack.

Kano had never seen anyone move that fast, and she almost didn't see her move at all before she had the two girls by the throats. This was getting worse and worse the longer she waited. Before Kano could blink, Mina had stepped out and made herself known, which of course drew the attention of the two other girls. Why were all the girls in her class so eager to put themselves in the face of danger before analyzing the situation? Kano sighed and shook her head. There were civilians that hadn't made it out yet, they were in the path of danger if this turned into a fight, which it looked like it was going to.

"You should get the people out of here." Kano whispered to Miyuki as she turned to face her. "I will try and distract them to the best of my ability to give you some time. If we can get them away from each other, it might make for an easier confrontation." Separating them might not be hard. The one with the dark aura was already focused on Momoji and Charee, while the pink haired girl was focused on Mina. That only left the red head with the metal arms. Kano frowned. That didn't really leave much to figure out what her mastery could be. That armor could be for defense or for attacking, or both. Not to mention the plethora of other abilities she could have to go with them. "Try to be quick, yeah?" Kano smirked before drawing her sword and walking around the wall. She couldn't let all of her classmates have all the fun, after all.

"If you're going to cause a scene I suggest you leave the civilians out of it." Kano said loudly as she locked eyes with the armored Magical Girl. She needed to be careful, she didn't have her team with her this time and if Miyuki was busy evacuating people, she didn't have any back up. Without a transformation, she didn't know how long she'd be able to stand up to the three girls.

Niwa Azumi - Gestu Museum Confrontation
Azumi watched in horror as her sister attacked the two Magical Girls. This wasn't going how they'd planned at all. It was supposed to be quick and clean, and now they were about to get engaged in a fight. She turned to see Airi attacking as well and furrowed her brow. This wasn't how it was supposed to be. "Airi!" She shouted as her sister released the dark orbs that were surrounding her. "Don't involve the civilians. Let's not make this worse than it already is." Azumi paused when she heard a voice from behind her. She turned to see a brunette with a sword glaring at her. Of course, of course there would be Magical Girls touring a Magical Girl Museum. And of course, they hadn't calculated that into the outcome of their plan at all. This was not ideal.

"Sword drawn already," Azumi narrowed her eyes and sighed heavily. It seemed she didn't have much of a choice. She needed to protect her sisters. "But you're not transformed yet. You're either very strong, or very stupid." Azumi slammed her fist into the marble floor and chucks of stone flew up into the air. She went into her offensive stance and punched each chunk of stone, sending them flying towards the brunette. She wasn't going to pull her punches when it came to her sisters, especially Akiko. Azumi would do what she had to to protect them. That was the only job she had now.

Momoji Crimson-Starring Shock Wave
Museum
@Daz @Sailor Moon
Shockwave couldn't even blink before a woman was in front of her. And suddenly the world started spinning.

Shockwave inhaled sharply, her lungs gasping for air. She felt faint, she wanted to pass out. But her body kept fighting. "What is this? A joke. You can do better than that." Shockwave grunted, her arms bound to her sides by some invisible force. Whatever that woman had it was incredibly strong. Strong enough to weaken her and La Voisin.

Shockwave had to do something. She had to try. She couldn't give up. Her weapons had been dropped, their weight too much to bear without her full power. She did have her training though. Grunting loudly, Shockwave lifted up her hand slow and steady until it was close enough to touch the woman. With what little energy she could muster the woman tried to transfer as much shock energy as possible. She was too weak to call out the move's name. It was her only hope at the moment.

Charee Moreau as La Voisin - Pink Group - Getsu Museum

Suspended helplessly in the air, Charee felt her power being drained away, as if her very soul was being dragged out of her body. Panic setting in, Charee strained to squirm out of her position, only to find movement near impossible, increasing her distress. How could she have let herself get into such a position? She was meant to be saving others, yet now she was the one who needed to be saved…

"Snap out of it idiot, if you have time to mope you have time to fight back!"

From the corner of her eye La Voisin could Momoji's hand reaching forward inch by inch; Mo's own determination motivated La Voisin to try something, anything, rather than just give up to her captor. La Voisin wasn't sure if she was still able to use magic in this position, but it's not like testing it out would make anything worse, right? With what little energy she had, La Voisin attempted to cast Snake Fangs, hoping at least one dart would hit and shock the woman enough so that Mo could do something.

Samantha - middle of the museum's center room.
@R-9 Pilot
@Daz
@Sailor Moon

Samantha's hand, which had been hesitating uncertainly next to her Heartstone, clenched into a fist when she finally caught sight of Charee and a girl Samantha assumed to be Charee's buddy enter the scene. While she didn't know 100% what was going on, her protective instincts were screaming at her to get Charee and everyone away from here as fast as possible.

She was briefly taken aback when Charee actually transformed, however. She had seen Magical Girls that radically changed appearance when they transformed before, of course, but it was little surprising to see the innocent and sweet Charee become... not those things. As such Samantha was briefly stunned into stillness.

Mina, thankfully, was keeping more of a level head, and was trying to ascertain what was actually going on. Whoever these girls were, they weren't Youma, so it stood to reason that everybody could just…calmly talk this out, right?

That idea was thrown pretty quickly out of the window when one of them teleported (it had to be teleportation, because surely nothing could actually move that fast) in front of Charee and her friend, and proceeded to choke the life out of both of them.

The roar of some primordial beast sounded from within Samantha. Forget transforming: she'd run over and just rip that girl apart with her bare hands.

Before she could enact her suicidal tactic, an explosion of magic from right beside her turned her attention to Mina. The girl had transformed, and Samantha had to admit her already impressive mien became tenfold more so. Mina already had a sort of natural confidence when she was untransformed, but with a flowing head of crimson hair and decked out in full battle dress, it was hard to not be a little bit awed by her.

"Bit of a difference, huh,"

Samantha was on the cusp of replying, when another voice cut across her.

"You wanna go play hero,"

The magical girl with the scythe, after taking a brief glance around the room, gathered her power. Samantha felt something dark creep into the room, like the hand of death hand just brushed against her, before orbs of dark magic launched from the girl. Samantha's breath caught when she saw them heading straight for several of the civilians still in the room.

There wasn't any time left. If she didn't act now, more people were going to die around her. If she didn't act, it would be like failing to save Aki all over again…

Samantha allowed herself one final concerned glance at Charee and her friend, in the millisecond that she was able. She wanted, needed, to get over there and rescue those two, but she also couldn't risk letting innocent people die.

…Charee was a Magical Girl, and there were plenty of others on the scene as well. She knew that they would figure something out. Right now, these innocent people needed her more.

Time seemed to resume moving at it's normal speed just as Samantha took the first step in her run, and finally unclenched the fist that had been hovering next to her Heartstone.

Samantha swiped her hand across her Heartstone, almost tripping as she ran when the magical energy burst out of her. While she managed to maintain her footing for at least until the transformation was complete, the girl finally stumbled over a piece of rubble when she had fully transformed. Thankfully, that was just far enough.

Cordiculya, before her body hit the floor she was falling towards, threw her hand outwards.

"Guardsmen! Don't-oof!" Cordiculya's command was swallowed up when her body hit the ground, though thankfully the mental command was enough.

In an instant, several of her shield wielding statues popped into existence, each standing between one of the targeted civilians and the black missiles. Had her face not been smushed up against the floor as it was, Cordiculya would have grinned.

She could feel it, the difference in power that absorbing the purified Youma's Heartstone had given her. It was only a minor boost, but it was noticeable in its effect. The range at which she could summon her knights had extended, by what felt like two metres, and the stain of summoning several knights at once had been eased by just a touch.

But, as the sudden migraine that assaulted Cordiculya reminded her, it was just a light touch. As Cordiculya curled up and tried to stamp down the flare of pain that was ripping through the back of her skull, she realized that even the added boost wasn't enough to make her knights especially sturdy. Rather than the firm and solid stone of their usual density, summoning this many all at once had resulted in little more than flimsy mud golems. She had to pray they would at least tank the worst of this…rouge magical girl's attack, and allow the civilians to get to safety.

Of course, she would also have to start praying for her own safety: in her infinitely wise plan of jumping in without thinking and using a skill that would daze her, Cordiculya was stunned and on the ground right in the middle of the room.

If she hadn't been curled and groaning in pain as she tried to focus on maintaining so many shielded-knights at once, Cordiculya would have probably berated herself for her recklessness. As it stood, she merely groaned out an unintelligible complaint.

AVA-ROSE
ICE IS MY PROTECTOR AND WINTER IS MY FORTRESS.
Soo much was going on in front of Lady Winter. She didn't know where to go or who to save first. It was just chaos and the other Magical Girls seemed to just go to whatever situation seemed the most in need in their eyes. That was definitely not how it worked. In a situation like this, thinking trumped acting on instinct every time. These girls were deadly and just jumping into a battle would do nothing but cause an utter failure and innocent lives lost. Lady Winter didn't fail and these girls weren't about to make her either.

In the blink of an eye, the girl that had been attacking the Security Guard had now been sucking the magical essences from... La Voisin and another Magical Girl that Lady Winter didn't recognize. Now it's no secret that Lady Winter/Ava-Rose didn't like La Voisin/Charee for some unknown reason, but when it came to fellow Magical Girls, nothing else mattered in the situation, but saving said fellow magical girls from any kind of danger. The other two brats were being handled by some of the other magical girls, so this was her area to handle. Saving La Voisin and the random would keep the odds in their favor; hopefully.

"Ok... time to do this." Throwing her hands in the air and spinning in a full circle; ice started forming around her body. Conjuring her Ice Protection spell. Covering her entire form in an armor of ice and snow. Once she had some more protection, Lady Winter conjured up a slice of ice and stood on the floating block. "These brats are going to regret messing with us..." Balling up her fists as she surfed up towards the girl.

Lady Winter prided herself on her speed, but this girl was definitely faster than her by far. But if anyone could challenge a speed demon, it would be this Ice Skating Champion. "Hey! How about you try that crap on me... psycho!" Shooting her hands forward as snow and frost magically sprayed towards the girl harming La Voisin and the random. Using a special spell called Icy Surface. Definitely a favorite of Lady Winter's.

Hirose Jun - Introducing Damascus!
Getsu Museum

@Baddamobs @R-9 Pilot

Heading towards the direction that everyone else seemed to be running away from in a heap of panic, didn't exactly seem like the most logical choice. Jun considered turning back to the meeting point and find Miss Airhart or Miss Shizuka for any further instruction, but the blonde's legs just kept moving forward. She just didn't want to risk losing any more time, in case something more serious happens. Coming to a stop in the center of a room where the chaos seems to come from, there was a whole group of terrified civilians surrounded by what appeared to be 3 girls, each giving off a type of dark aura.

Ava-Rose reacted immediately, getting right into the transformation phase along with a few other school mates sparsed across the room. Jun gritted her teeth, seeing how the transformations only seemed to provoke the unknown girls even more. At this point it couldn't be helped, each of the girls is now triggered and encouraged to attack.

Reaching down into her pocket, Jun pulled out a shimmering ore and tossed it up into the air. The stone spun into a bright light that soon engulfed Jun into a spiraling spotlight. Her entire body turned into a silvery coating, changing the girl's form into a more tall and lean figure. Her glossy stature soon began restoring her natural color, starting from the fingertips, in and down to the toes, her outfit malleablized in place. As the transformation died down, Jun opened her eyes to reveal a deep blue hue which matched her current hair color. Many wouldn't guess that the girl that stood here now is actually Jun, or now known as Damascus.

Thankfully Ava-Rose and a few other magical girls around was one step ahead of Damascus, each taking care of the most serious threats. The screams of panicking civilians struggling to get out of the room caught the magical girl's attention. Hurrying over to a group people, Damascus forced opened a metal emergency exit door at the side of the room before moving out of the way
"Come on, this way!" she called out, grabbing attention of as many civilians around.

While assisting people out the door in a calm fashion, Damascus managed to catch a glimpse of a unfamiliar magical girl face-planting her way towards the center of the room. However, to a much impressive outcome, she still manages to cast a spell that attempted to shield the surrounded civilians from a wide spread attack. Though as relieving as it was for the first few seconds, watching the now obvious targeted magical girl arose the tension once again. Damascus was too far away to run and help the magical girl, so, she went with the next best thing.

"Sorry about this." Damascus swiped a hand around her, attracting as many metal objects laying around, like the metal door and a few metal rods that fenced off a few nearby displays, and fusing them together into a metal glob "Sword dance!" Damascus called out, swinging her arm out forward which caused the metal object to form into a sword-like shield, eventually sinking into the marble floors just inches away from the magical girl who was sprawled out on the ground. Buying the magical girl just a little more time and protection.

Akiko - Getsu Museum

Akiko captured enough of the magical girls' magical life force to bring her closer to her Youma transformation, but she wasn't finished with them just yet. They were resisting her. Still, Akiko continued, her grip tightening on their throats.

A minute longer and Akiko would have drained the girls of everything they had, but Akiko was momentarily distracted when she heard an annoying voice quickly approaching. Her demonic eyes went wide with confusion, but there was little time left to react as she was blasted away in a fury of snow and ice. Akiko dropped both her victims, leaping away into a one handed backhand spring and landing gracefully on her feet. She got a good look at her assailant, a low growl rumbling in her throat.

Looking past the girls, Akiko could see that her two sisters were currently engaged in battle with other magical girls. There were more of them than Akiko realized, but that didn't deter Akiko from battle. In her current state, fighting more magical girls and stealing their precious souls was all that mattered to her. But she couldn't be taken out again, not that easily.

Akiko shook her head at the thought of defeat and losing her precious loved ones. She needed to protect them, at all costs. It was those type of thoughts that fed the newly formed hatred in her heart, causing her heartstone to pulse in an offbeat rhythm. She glanced down, placing her index and middle finger lightly against her heartstone, triggering a deadly tornado of black quills that threatened to harm anyone in the surrounding area.

At the heart of the blast, it was calm. Akiko was completely wrapped in feathers and a beautiful, dark aura. As the feathers fell away, she stood much different than the pink haired girl that came before her. She threw her head back and laughed loudly, her voice echoing through out the halls. "Is that the best you've got?"

Miyuki Aozora - Getsu Museum

Miyuki hated to be told what to do, especially by someone like Kano, but instead of arguing she nodded to the girl's suggestion. She wondered if Kano, someone who couldn't even transform, would be able to handle herself against a fully fledged magical girl, but there was really no time to waste figuring it out. Miyuki dashed across the center floor, spotting another magical girl who was assisting the civilians in their escape.

"This way! Hurry!" Miyuki jumped into action, escorting a group of people outside through a large crack in the wall. It seemed the museum sustained more damage than she thought, and she wondered if her classmates alone would be able to fend off the attackers. The thought was frightening. There were still more people in the museum than Miyuki was comfortable with, spectators, she guessed. There were always at least a dozens idiots around during a magical girl fight. Some people just didn't care about their own well being.

"You have to leave! It isn't safe!" There was so much chaos going on around them, and so many people still remained in the museum. How was she supposed to protect them all?

As Miyuki was pondering that, the dark energy in the museum seemed to spike. She tore her gaze away from the small child she had been ushering out of the museum, to the pink haired girl who had been causing the trouble. La Voisin and the other magical girl had escaped, but something was happening. Is this what a Youma transformation looked like? No, not a Youma. This was only the beginning of the darkness.

A blast of dagger-like quills shot across the museum turned arena and Miyuki ducked down, bringing the child to the floor with her. Her heartstone sparked, and a wave of warm magical energy washed over her body, shielding her from the attack.

Papyra stood up slowly, the small child still in her arms and gazing up at the magical girl in awe. She set the girl down with her parents, only offering a smile of reassurance, before she rushed off to help the others.

Kokuyo Kano & Niwa Azumi - Getsu Museum Rumble
@Sailor Moon
Kano tensed slightly when the chunks of marble flew towards her. She didn't expect that her opponent would have a mastery that didn't involve her armored arms directly. The brunette furrowed her brow as she brought her sword up to deflect the chunks that got too close to her. She was most likely going to be defeated. If it wasn't bad enough that she couldn't transform, she had no idea what this woman's powers were. This wasn't like a hunt from school where you got a dossier and knew who exactly you were fighting. This was a the real world, a real fight and Kano was more than apprehensive about it.

"You don't seem very confident." The red head muttered as she stared Kano down. "Are you just toying with me? Waiting to see my abilities and then transform? Or is there another reason? Perhaps you thought you could fight me like you are now. Is that it?"

"You're very curious, you know that?" Kano answered as she brought her saber up in front of her. "I'll answer your questions if you tell me your name." The magical girl narrowed her eyes in a mix of caution and confusion. This wasn't part of a battle. You didn't introduce yourself to your enemy. But what would be the harm really?

"Azumi." She answered finally before moving into an offensive stance. "But you can call me Arma."

"Kano." The brunette replied as she brought her sword back and shifted into an attack position. This was more of a duel to Kano than a battle, and in duels, there were rules. She was surprised enough that Arma had introduced herself. As the two girls stood there sizing each other up, the brunette noticed the other girls in her class transforming and the left over civilians being ushered out of the museum. Really, this fight shouldn't pose much of a threat. The three thieves were outnumbered, but they seemed to have much more experience and power.

Kano's thoughts were cut short as Arma launched forward, her metal hand striking at the brunette's face with so much force that sparks flew from her saber when they collided. When she found her footing again, she used all of her newly attained strength to push Arma back. She was fast, but would she be able to keep up with a transformed magical girl? Before she could think about attacking, Arma was on her again. Her metal clawed hands swiping out and the clanging of metal echoed in Kano's ears as her sword clashed each time.

"Impressive, you're surprisingly fast in that form." Arma huffed as she jumped back, putting a bit of distance between them. "But in that state you won't be able to keep up with me much longer. If you want to live, I suggest you transform now." The red head waited for Kano's response, but the brunette had nothing to say. "No? Your decision then." Arma clasped her hands together and raised them over her head. "Quake!"

Arma brought her hands down hard on the floor and it began to shudder and break beneath Kano's feet. She lost her footing and jumped back from the area, but as she did, the red head was attacking her once more. Kano felt a hard fist connect solidly with her face and it launched her back until her body connected hard with the marble wall. Though her heartstone dulled her pain, it couldn't stop the shock wave that radiated through Kano's body as she connected. She felt the hard stone give way under her head as she hit, but Arma wasn't giving her a chance to recover.

As fast as she had punched Kano, the magical girl was there again when she connected with the wall. Kano felt a cold, metal hand catch her around the throat before she was thrown back towards the center of the museum. This was going about as well as Kano expected it to be. She knew she wasn't going to be much of a challenge, but she needed to buy time. So as she skidded across the floor, she finally stopped and slowly made it to her feet. She could feel blood trickling down the back of her neck and tasted the iron tang in her mouth. Her body was already sore from the impact with the wall, she honestly didn't know how much more she could take.

"Is that all?" She taunted as she stood and flourished her sword. "I thought you'd be a bit stronger, wishful thinking, I guess." Kano smirked when she saw the fire in Arma's eyes and braced herself when the red head came flying towards her. This time, she tried to fight back. She ducked under the first attack and thrust the hilt of her sword up into Arma's stomach. It was enough to give Kano another opening to attack, which she took, swinging her sword towards Arma's legs to throw her off balance. But it wasn't fast enough.

"You're quite annoying for not using powers." Arma grunted as she blocked Kano's attack with her arm. "But color me impressed that you haven't collapsed yet, but we'll get there." Arma wasn't sure what game this girl was playing, but she didn't like it. If she could transform, she assumed the transformation would be much more powerful than she was. If that was the case, she needed to incapacitate Kano as soon as possible so they wouldn't have to deal with that power later. "Shrapnel!"

Kano was ready for another attack and as Arma punched the ground again, she readied her sword to deflect any bits of stone that would fly towards her. But this attack was different. Though the execution was similar, there were no large chunks of marble that were being thrown at her, this time the stone was small. So small in fact, that Kano couldn't count all the pieces that came flying towards her. The best she could do was bring her arms up in front of her face to protect herself while the rest of her body was cut and small bits of stone got lodged into her flesh.

The brunette grunted when the onslaught stopped. She could feel every sharp stone and pebble in her body and it was weakening her. She wouldn't be able to keep this up much longer, but it wasn't in her nature to back down. So when Arma started advancing on her again, Kano stood her ground. She tried to lift her sword, but her body was reaching its threshold and a stabbing pain shot through her arm when she moved it. So she couldn't dampen the blow at all when another fist hit her hard in the chest. Sending her flying through the air until she landed on a glass display case and fell to the floor.

It wasn't until then, when Kano was on the ground and staring back at Arma did she notice the influx of dark energy radiating from one of the girls. She couldn't move, but her eyes were trained on the dark magical girl with black wings and feathers fall around her. Arma must've noticed as well, because she forgot Kano for a moment and turned towards the dark energy, her face falling slightly. "Akiko."

Mina Strand and Niwa Airi - Museum Battle Arena

Airi looked a little disappointed at her sister's warning not to involve the civilians. "Fine," she replied, really drawing out the first syllable. At least some of the girls were playing alone, one even rushed to the defense, exactly as she'd hoped. It wouldn't be any fun if these girls were going to interfere and then just leave people to die.

The bolts of energy slammed into the stone knights, destroying them in large, dusty explosions, but they did their jobs admirably, and prevented anyone else from seeing similar carnage. "So, change of plans, then," Airi shouted back to Cordiculya and the other girls. "Though even if I'm not aiming for them, you're still at a disadvantage if you don't pay attention to what's behind you, if you dodge~" She seemed to have absolutely no problem with playing the villain, and far too happy for her costume and weapon. "Also, I can't say any of us are that good at keeping the collateral damage down." Her sister destroying the floor in her attacks probably drove that point home quite well.

Crimson Moon rushed over to help her fallen ally up, as Damascus slammed down her shield. She didn't really wait for her offered hand to be taken either, hauling Cordiculya up to her feet. "You look like you need a little help." She then paused to look at the other two. "She's right...we are at a disadvantage as long as we've got to fight defensively. Someone ought to get the civvies out of here while we can." The rumbling from another of Arma's attacks just drove home the point, as further cracks in the walls and walkways formed and dust was shaken loose from the ceiling. "I'll do what I can there, if you two can keep this girl busy for a while."

Mina ran off to start gathering the last stragglers and rubberneckers. "Alright, you bastards, time to clear out if you wanna live!" She wasn't exactly subtle about it, as she herded anyone she could out of the nearest exit she could find. "Just let us handle it and stop trying to watch, damn it."

Airi looked down at Damascus and Cordiculya from her position hovering a good six inches above the cracked marble floor. "Aww, I liked the odds before better. Now, come! Show me what you can do!" She rushed in, making a low slash with her scythe and not giving much time to react. She was about to follow up when a wave of darkness washed over the room, causing her to look up at the source. "Oh goddamn it," she muttered.

A portal opened right next to Airi, and she was through it and at Akiko's side in seconds. "Hey, Aki-chan, knock it off," she said, her voice quite concerned for the other girl. She punctuated her command with a light tap using the handle of her scythe. "You know this is bad, right? Like, really bad. You've got to stop this right now."

Cordiculya felt the bolts of dark energy shatter her knights, and heaved with a sigh of relief: with their destruction, the cords of wire that had been taut around her brain finally slackened. With the pain receding, she could once again take stock of her surroundings again.

Just in time to see a storm of razor-like quills flying straight towards her.

Cordiculya felt her heart seize and her pupils shrink to the size of pinpricks in the second that she registered that she was completely exposed. Her reflexes tried to summon a knight to protect her, but her energy was still recuperating from the squad she had just called forth. On her stomach and in the open with no cover, there was no hope of blocking them. She was about to be turned into the world's most high-class pincushion!

"Sword dance!"

With a resounding thunk, a large slab of metal slammed down directly in front of Cordiculya. Half a second later, there was a sound like the world's most aggressive typewriter as the quills stabbed into the metal. Cordiculya numbly noted that the quills had actually cut partly through the metal, and had only been stopped by the barrier's sheer thickness.

After her life finished flashing before her eyes, Cordiculya collapsed forward again, all at once remembering she needed to breath. She shakily lifted herself to look in the direction her metal barrier had flown in from. Eyes alighting on a Magical Girl she didn't recognize, Cordiculya forced a smile a on her face and gave a thumbs up, not noticing that her hands was shaking even from that simple action. Cordiculya made a mental note to thank the girl by whatever measure was in her power, and tried to unsuccessfully clamber to her feet. Through the blood thundering in her ears, she just about heard a voice hiss out a sigh of disappointment.

"…So, change of plans, then..."

Cordiculya was pondering the implication of this (and the fact that her arms were shaking so much she was physically unable to push herself to her feet) when a hand suddenly grabbed the scruff of her neck. Choking out a gasp, Cordiculya flailed at her attacker until she realized it was only Mina. With a pull, the crimson haired girl lifted the other Magical Girl to her feet, looking slightly amused as she pointed out,

"You look like you need a little help."

"Y-yes, that's a fair observation." Cordiculya coughed, leaning against Mina while feeling returned to her legs. Half dragging her, Mina managed to pull Cordiculya over next to the room's emergency exit, next to which Cordiculya's Magical Girl saviour was guiding civilians out of the building. Mina gently deposited her charge next to the wall, and the Princess Magical Girl lent against it gratefully. She was starting to get control of her extremities back, and her head had finally stopped ringing. Just in time to hear their opponent's next announcement, too.

"Though even if I'm not aiming for them, you're still at a disadvantage if you don't pay attention to what's behind you, if you dodge~" The girl with the scythe tittered, just as the room shook. Cordiculya wasn't entirely sure what had caused the room to shake like it was on stilts, but she wasn't exactly eager to find out. Thankfully, Mina steadied her before she topple over again, looking grimly at their leering aggressor.

"She's right...we are at a disadvantage as long as we've got to fight defensively. Someone ought to get the civvies out of here while we can." Mina nodded, before diving back into the fray, calling back, "I'll do what I can there, if you two can keep this girl busy for a while."

"No promises!" Cordiculya barked back, finally pushing herself from crumbling stone she was supported by, her energy finally returned.

Before she leapt back into the action, she took a moment to actually take in her saviour from before. The girl actually cut quite the imposing figure, dressed to the nines in a military-esque outfit, and armed with what Cordiculya could only describe as steely and focused eyes. It might have just been an affect of her transformation, but there was definitely the impression this wasn't a Magical Girl to cross. To that end, it was probably better to make a better second impression; her first impression of falling flat on her face can't have looked that impressive.

"So, are you always in the habit of saving tripping princesses, or was I just lucky this time?" Cordiculya coughed out a laugh, before refocusing her gaze on the girl with the scythe. "…Sorry. Not a time to try and lighten the mood. We should probably deal this cretin first."

Speaking of the rouge Magical Girl, something seemed to catch the floating girl's attention. She twisted around in place, saying something along the lines of 'goddamn it' as she caught sight of one of her conspirators. Cordiculya followed her line of sight, and reactively flinched.

She was fairly certain that a floating, winged, being of pure dark energy hadn't been there before. Although, that would explain the feathers from before…

"Wait, now's the time to strike," Cordiculya said, more to herself, "the one with the scythe's back is turned, so-"

Almost as if to taunt her, said scythe wielder hopped through a miniature portal, and was suddenly way on the other side of the room. Weirdly enough, it looked like she was radically trying to sort something out with the girl that had wings.

Wait. If two of them were over there, where was the third one? Cordiculya's eyes scanned across the room, until she spotted the third of the museum raiders. And right before her-

"Kano!" Cordiculya lurched forward, propelled forward by the sudden shot of anxiety that ripped through her. She didn't even notice she hadn't even said anything to the girl who had saved her before she was bolting across the room.

Kano looked in bad shape. She was on the ground, bleeding from an innumerable number of wounds on her body, right in front of one of the rouge Magical Girls (one with goddamn metal arms). Even worse, her attacker didn't seem to be suffering from any major injury.

Cordiculya felt fear mix with the panic in her breast. If Kano couldn't take this girl on, what hope did she have!? She had only gotten lucky in the fight with the Youma, and that was only because she could attack from a distance. If she wanted to even have a chance in hell of protecting Kano, she was going to have get right up close. That was surely suicidal, her entire style of fighting was meant to keep her safely out of harm's way, oh crap oh crap oh crap-

Focus! The last thing she needed to do now was panic. The metal-armed girl was currently distracted, looking over at the commotion going on with her cohorts. That meant Cordiculya had the element of surprise. It wasn't an advantage she was going to waste.

Drawing upon all of the bravado she had, Cordiculya put on one last burst of speed. The distance shrunk, and all too soon she almost within range. She was practically within arm's reach of Kano when she finally threw out the mental commands,

Swordsman! Spearman! Charge!

With a crack of energy, the two soldiers snapped into existence on either side of her target. Hardly the mud constructs she had summoned before, these two were solid and immaculate, to the point where their stone shells practically shone like bronze. With a strain on her mental power, she felt the sword fall downwards, and spear thrust forwards. Standing so close, her connection so strong, that she practically felt the weapons slice through the air, almost enough to overpower the thundering in her chest.

Kokuyo Kano & Niwa Azumi - Getsu Museum Brawl - Saving Cordiculya
@Baddamobs
Azumi watched her newly transformed sister. Akiko's transformation used to be a beautiful thing; lots of light, white feathers, almost heavenly. Now it was almost the complete opposite, so much so that Azumi could barely sense her sister there at all. There was so much darkness that Azumi could feel it wrapping around her. She was so preoccupied with watching Akiko, that she almost didn't notice the other Magical Girl that had come rushing towards the fallen brunette.

The red haired girl narrowed her eyes as she heard a loud snap and two knights appeared in front of her. She caught the spear in her hand that was aimed for her head, but she didn't have time to block the sword that slashed through the air. Arma was able to side step just enough so the tip of the blade sliced her back. The girl grunted as she tightened her grip on the spear before snapping it off the shaft and thrusting it through the knight's face. While her adrenaline was rising to counter the pain, she swung around and thrust her fist into the other knight's chest.

Arma rolled her shoulders before turning towards the dark haired Magical Girl that was heading towards the brunette with the sword. She wasn't normally one to hold a grudge, but Arma didn't like being ambushed, especially when she wasn't paying attention. "That wasn't very nice." Arma ignored the stinging in her back from the wound and punched the ground, bringing up a very large piece of marble. "Two birds with one stone."

Kano could faintly hear the sounds of fighting going on around her. She hadn't completely lost consciousness, but to say she was disoriented would be an understatement. Her vision was blurry and her ears were ringing from the impact, but she was starting to regain her composure just in time to see Cordiculya's knights attack Arma. Kano made her way, slowly, to her hands and knees, shaking her head to try and rid herself of her blurred vision. The last thing she expected was to see Cordiculya coming to her rescue.

Though she didn't really have time to make sense of the dark haired Magical Girl rushing towards her when her eyes caught the large chunk of marble that was flying towards them. Kano mustered up as much strength as she could, grabbing her sword and ignoring the pain in her body the best that she could. The brunette grunted as she ran towards her teammate, hoping to reach her before the chunk of stone.

"Cordiculya, look out!" Kano shouted as she neared the dark haired girl. She got to Cordiculya just in time to turn, hold her blade up and brace for the impact. Her sword scraping against the stone as Kano widened her stance to try and hold it back. Even though she was putting every last bit of strength into holding off the attack, her energy was draining quickly. She clenched her jaw and grunted as she tried her best to push back.

Kano needed more power, if she couldn't stop the attack, Cordiculya was going to get hurt and Kano could end up dead. She couldn't let that happen. With one more burst of energy, and cry of frustration, Kano put her remaining strength into pushing the chunk of stone back. She was engulfed by a brief flash of dark, purple light before she felt the stone give way and launch itself back towards Arma. The tip of her sword rested on the ground as Kano rested her arms and tried to catch her breath. That's when she noticed that the blade of her sword was black and that she was now wear black gauntlets.

"What-?" Kano glanced down to see her attire changed and her heartstone glowing brightly in the hilt of her now, black sword. She caught her reflection in some broken glass. Her green eyes were glowing slightly and her hair was now ink black. The pains in her body seemed to melt away as she felt the increased energy and power flowing through every sinew in her being. "Well that was less climactic than I expected."

Arma wasn't expecting Kano to get up again, not to mention transform in front of her eyes. As her attack was being projected back towards her, the red head brought her fist forward, dissolving the stone into dust with barely any effort. Her eyes narrowed as she examined the newly born Magical Girl in front of her. Dark hair, along with black armor and a purple mantle that flowed from her hips down to the ground. This girl was emitting dark energy as well, but not exactly the same as Akiko's. This was going to be interesting.

"So," Arma smirked as she shouted out towards the girl that used to be Kano. "What do I call you now?"

Kano blinked a few times before locking gazes with Arma. "Noctia."

Momoji Crimson-Starring Shock Wave
Museum
@Sailor Moon @Daz
There was lots of commotion going on around her. Mo was focused mostly on her attacker. A magical girl who Mo had noted earlier had an affinity with winter came racing along and shot something at their attacker. The hold on her was released and Mo gasped in relief. Her lungs filled with air yet again as she collapsed onto the railing, letting her body recover.

"Is that the best you've got?"

She didn't have long. Apparently the person who attacked her was in for a second round. Mo barely had time to duck herself out of the way of a hailstorm of black feathers. By the time Mo looked back up the woman had morphed into a blackish raven form. Mo ground her teeth together and looked around for La Voisin. She couldn't see through the tornado of quills. Her skin hurt, and she summoned up a shock shield. She wanted to do more, to attack, but she wasn't sure if La Voisin was in there. She had to do something.

"Shock wave!" the woman yelled out, breaking the bubble and sweeping her foot across the ground as a wave of lightning went racing towards the tornado. Who knows if it would reach anywhere inside.

Papyra/Miyuki Aozora

@IceQueen

Seeing that Kano was in trouble, Papyra jumped up to aid her against the magical girl. She stopped when another girl screamed out Kano's name and rushed up to defend her, practically racing over there in record time. Well, that made her task a little easier, since there were still people in the museum that needed help and two other magical girls on the loose.

"Shockwave!"

Papyra turned to see the girl who'd been captured earlier firing off an attack. The dark magical girl was distracted by the lightning rushing towards her, and Papyra knew she had to do something to help. After the lightning struck the girl, Papyra charged forward. The power from the calcified heartstone had given her more strength and speed, though she wasn't sure how long that would last.

Using all of her strength, Papyra slammed her body into the Dark Magical girl, sending her flying forward and into a nearby wall. "Huh." The white haired girl was only allowed to marvel at her newfound strength for a brief moment when a black shadow was cast over her. A scaly hand clasped around her throat before Papyra even had the chance to react.

"That was foolish of you." Akiko said, her grip tightening slowly around Papyra's throat. "I could crush you."

The feeling of being strung up in the air, the life slowly draining out of her was all too familiar. Papyra wouldn't allow herself to nearly be killed, not by the likes of this magical girl. She brought her elbow up and drove it into the girl's eye. Much to her surprise, it caused Akiko to drop her. She screamed in pain, clutching her eye with both hands. She was temporarily stunned by the attack, and Papyra saw another opening to finish things off.

Papyra leaped into the air, arm slinging back as her giant paper shuriken formed in her hand. She flung it forward, aimed straight for her opponent. She could fire off multiple shuriken at a time, so when that one was close to hitting the mark she summoned two more and fired off.

Akiko braced herself for the attack, her wings curling around her body to shield her against the attack. After the first one fell to the ground, her wings shot open, creating a brutal gust of wind filled with quills. It seemed to deflect Papyra's shuriken, carrying them in the wind and sending them back towards her. Akiko flew forward after her attack, rushing towards Papyra in a fit of rage.

The white haired girl crossed her arms in front of her of body, knowing that she wouldn't be fast enough to dodge the quills. They struck her body like hundreds of little daggers, piercing her skin with ease. The double paper shuriken hit her body, sending her flying backwards through the air, but not doing much damage. The wind was knocked out of her lungs as Akiko crashed into her, shoving her upwards until her back was crushed against the ceiling.

Hirose Jun - Introducing Damascus!
Getsu Museum
@Sailor Moon

Soon after Damascus slammed down a shield in the middle of the room, a dark energy filled the area, followed by a rain of piercing sharp quills showering the entire room. Not having enough time to conjure up another metal barrier before her, Damascus gritted her teeth and sprinted over to a nearby wall in hopes for protection. Her body froze for a moment when the sound of multiple razor-like spears penetrated the wall. Droplets of sweat ran along the sides of her face as she slowly shifted her gaze upwards, sharp ends of the quills stuck out from the wall, seemingly only centimeter's away from Damascus's face. Letting out a relieving sigh, the dark-haired girl emerged from the halls and scanned the room around her. Fortunately, most the civilians that Damascus was escorting managed to escape the perimeters or somehow avoided that mass attack. Damascus let out a small grumble while wiping at her dampened forehead, obviously irritated by the lack of her conjure speed.

At the corner of her eye, Damascus spotted red-haired hero swoop in and rescue the one magical girl still sprawled in the middle of the room and eventually relocating nearby
"Everyone okay?" the short-haired girl ran over to the other two, studying each of them closely for any sign of serious a injury. One of the magical girls spoke up, mentioning something about we wouldn't get anywhere without taking care of the civilians first. Damascus nodded in response and watched as the girl in red panned out to clear the area. Turning her gaze back at the other magical girl, Damascus locked eyes with her for a moment as she spoke. What the girl said didn't exactly cause much of a reaction or smile from Damascus. But the once concerned tension burning in her chest did softened slightly at the girl's light-hearted comment. Sure, the moment wasn't exactly appropriate for jokes, but just that little 'casual' conversation managed to relax her mind just a bit.

"Anything for a fellow schoolmate." She placed a hand across her chest and bowed her head slightly "Us magical girls has got each other's back." Damascus added, however the little friendly exchanges soon came to an end, when the one girl with the giant scythe approached them once again. Readying herself in a fighting stance, Damascus narrowed her eyes as she glared up at the enemy. Right when it seemed the show-down was about to begin, everyone's attention was suddenly drawn to a pair of large, black, feathery wings from the upper level of the museum. The dark aura managed to catch everyone off guard, since this feeling didn't fit well at all… for anyone.

Before Damascus or Cordiculya could further advance in any attack, the one with the scythe drew open a portal that led straight to where the almost crow-like magical girl hovered. The scene up there did not look good at all. Bursting into a quick run, Damascus made her way over at the two threats just as another Magical girl entered the scene as well. Dark eyes turned wide as Damascus witnessed the crow-like girl lunge itself towards the magical girl and broke out into a full-on battle "No!"

Finally arriving at the scene, bits of metal formed by her heart stone floated around Damascus's body. Extending out her hand, Damascus used her ability to create a handy weapon, one where a claw-like grapple connected to a long chain formed from the metal. Grabbing hold of the chain, Damascus spun the chain to increase some velocity before flinging her strong arm over her head, sending the claw flying up towards the ceiling in hopes to successfully attach itself onto Akiko. Then using all her strength, Damascus let out a loud grunt as she pulled down on the chain with all her might, using her entire body for every last bit of support.

ICE IS MY PROTECTOR AND WINTER IS MY FORTRESS.
Lady Winter did not expect the tornado of spikes to happen; luckily her smaller stature was perfect for maneuvering around the spikes that came towards her direction. She was like a winter pixie doing a special dance; spinning and twirling every which way she could, to not get hit. Though she made it out of the tornado without any serious damage; a few parts of her ice armor had took some hits. Luckily she still was mostly covered in armor but another attack like that and all of her armor would be gone. This brat wasn't some inexperienced practice dummy. She was the real deal.

Bouncing backwards. She needed to get her mind together and come up with a plan of action. She could see the electrical girl getting ready for a move. Smiling as she saw it connect and feeling a bit better about the battle. Though all of that washed away when Papyra jumped into the chaos. Biting down on her bottom lip as her friend was brutally attacked and used as a human punching bag.

Not only was there one Brat... another one appeared next to her. Lady Winter couldn't make out what she was saying but it didn't matter. As she was preparing for another spell, she spotted a new magical girl coming into the insanity. Too much was happening at once and it was making Lady Winter irritated which was only going to be bad for The Dark Magical girls.

Flying forward, Lady Winter noticed that the new girl in the battle had metal powers. Ice and Metal usually made a good team when it came to the elements... maybe this was her chance to hit the brats where it really hurt. Going for both dark magical girls was better than sticking to one at a time. Falling back a bit, Lady Winter threw her hands up, as different shapes of magical ice formed a orbit around her waist. Using Exploding Snowfall would be dangerous but it could also be very effective. Hopefully known of the girls on her side got hit by the snow explosion.

"Take this, you damn dirty brats!" So she totally stole that from a movie... so what?

Airi - Museum Battle

It was getting crowded on the upper floor, with everyone rushing in to help their friends and antagonize her little sister. Didn't they know it was just going to make the whole problem worse? She breathed a sigh of relief when the girl managed to at least escape Akiko's grasp, as that was the last thing she needed. But still, there were too many of them in one spot.

On the other hand, they were all in one place. "Will you stop ganging up on my sister, damn it," Airi shouted, clearly getting pissed off by the whole situation. "Do you even know what you're doing?" She had to do what she could to protect her sister, and launched a large black droplet toward the battle. About the size of an inflated party balloon, the projectile moved at a leisurely pace, passing through the hail of snowflakes launched by Lady Winter, drawing a number of them into itself. The dark sphere began to shimmer with the absorbed magical power as it drifted toward Shock Wave and Lady Winter.

Airi had little trouble putting distance between herself and the would-be heroes, making it trivial to avoid the rest of the snowflake-like projectiles with some nimble swooping and spinning of her own. "Have fun with that~" Her slow-moving projectile suddenly detonated, creating a large explosion. The grin was wiped off her face as she noticed one of the girls below angling at Akiko with a grapple of some sort.

She was too far away to do more than launch a small barrage on her way down. "Null star!" A few of the smaller black bolts she'd first opened the fight with formed and flew away toward Damascus. Little more than harassment, but it would be enough to teach her to think twice about picking on someone just because they looked a little different.

Coming in for a less than graceful landing on the shattered marble floor, the dark magical girl paused to pick something up from the rubble near the destroyed central display. All this and they'd almost forgotten the whole reason they were here in the first place. "Yo, Arma, Aki!" She roared, loud enough to easily be heard over the din, particularly with the help of a few small portals just to ensure her voice carried nicely. "We've got what we came for, let's get the hell out before some serious heat shows up."

Cordiculya felt a rush of satisfaction when one of her attacks just managed to scrape across her target: the rouge Magical Girl might have successfully blocked one of the knight's attacks, but with the other just managing to strike true, the princess-Magical Girl was certain-

- crack

With a deft snap, the metal-armed Magical Girl snapped the stone blade off of the spear she was blocking, and buried it into the helmet of the sentinel that had attacked her back. Before the first knight had even faded from existence, the girl continued her rapid assault by ramming her first through the entirety of the remaining knight's chest. With one last pathetic stagger, the knight fell backwards, disappearing before it hit the ground.

Cordiculya felt the victorious smile fall away from her face, even as she kept up her run to Kano. Like a physical weight, she could feel the enemy Magical Girl level her gaze at her.

"That wasn't very nice."

"Not my best plan not my best plan not my best plan not my best plan-" Cordiculya frantically muttered to herself at she moved, entire being shaking with fear when she heard a crash of noise that sounded a awful lot like a part of the floor was being lifted up.

What the hell had her plan even been, anyway? Yes, the sneak attack with the knights was a strong opening gambit, but what came after that? She was limited to summoning knights, so she sure as hell wasn't going to be much good to the injured Kano, or be able to engage in close quarters combat with their assailant. In truth, she hadn't thought this far ahead. She just had felt a need to do everything she could to protect Kano, even if it came down to shielding the other girl with her own body. When the hell had she gotten so sentimental? She could have sworn she had been more practical in the first few years at the academy.

…Maybe this was what it meant to work as a team: to be able to throw caution to the wind and to protect each other. This would be the first proper team that Cordiculya had been involved with for an extended period. There was a pretty nice feeling to sentiment, like she was finally fulfilling a purpose.

Then again, that warm/nice feeling might have just been the panic-laced adrenaline rushing through Cordiculya when she realized that a boulder sized slab of marble had been thrown at her.

Cordiculya screamed out a single panicked note, and tried to summon a shield knight to knock the stone off course. The marble had shattered the knight without losing an iota of momentum. The projectile had been thrown with such force that it had torn the golem apart without slowing. In the few moments it was in flight, Cordiculya realized just how badly she didn't want her head turning into a fine paste against the floor.

"Cordiculya, look out!"

Kano – bleeding, barely standing – managed to push past the fleeing princess, raising her blade to the block the marble boulder. Before Cordiculya could even figure out how the other Magical Girl had gotten to her feet, Kano was consumed by a black energy. For one heart stopping second, Cordiculya thought that the demonic looking Magical Girl had somehow just nuked Kano out of existence. Thankfully the energy dissipated (more like exploded, it even threw the marble boulder back at its sender), and showed…

"Well that was less climactic than I expected."

"Kano…did you just…transform!?" Cordiculya panted, her eyes wide.

Kano's transformed state cut an imposing silhouette. Her armour and ensemble was a mixture of intimidating blacks and deep purples, and her blade shone with a wicked eagerness. Her eyes had an ethereal glow to them, like they saw beyond just the room and the people before her. All of her untransformed state's composure and focus, refined to a knife's edge. All in all, it fit Kano to a tee.

"So," The metal-armed Magical Girl didn't seem too phased by this change in developments. Indeed, she looked most pleased as she shouted. "What do I call you now?"

"Noctia."

Dark, mysterious, and dangerous. Cordiculya wasn't sure if she was lightheaded from all the running, or she was getting ready to swoon again.

Wait a second. Hadn't she been running here to…

"…I mean, of course you transformed." Cordiculya stood up straight, and puffed out her chest. "I knew my plan of putting myself in harm's way would awaken your sleeping powers: you may deny it, but you're a knight through and through, Noctia. No knight can resist saving a princess, hohohoh~"

(Cordiculya stamped down the disappointment that this daring rescue had somehow become her rescue, but tried to not think about the matter too much.)

Before she could get another word out, a voice suddenly sounded out through the chaos of the room. Oddly enough, it sounded like it was coming from several points at once.

"Yo, Arma, Aki!" The voice called, Cordiculya recognising it as the one that belonged to the scythe wielding anarchist. Looking around, one could just about spy some familiar, whirling voids dotting the room, the scythe wielder's voice coming out of each one. "We've got what we came for, let's get the hell out before some serious heat shows up."

"Hey, we are serious heat!" Cordiculya shook a fist in what she hopped was the right direction.

Composing herself, the princess Magical Girl turned back to their current foe (was this Arma or Aki?). While the three brigands retreating would definitely lower the already catastrophically high collateral damage, it would also mean they would get away scot free. If they could just keep them preoccupied for just a few minutes longer…

"While I would be more than happy to see the back of you myself, surely you're not going to leave now?" Cordiculya turned to the metal armed Magical Girl (Aki or Arma?), putting on her smarmiest expression. While her upbringing had mainly taught her how to behave politely in the public eye, it was easy to pick up a few hints for when you wanted to make someone peeved. "My friend, Noctia here, finally decided to stop toying with you. Surely you can't turn down a rematch?"

They didn't necessarily need to win this fight: by now, the authorities were surely closing in. If they could just keep these three here for a little while longer, these ruffians would have to face much more potent threats. (Not that they weren't 'serious heat')

Arma looked in the direction of Airi and clenched her jaw. She knew that the dark haired Magical Girl was baiting her, and if she wasn't as level headed as she was, she would've continued to fight. Arma wanted to see what Noctia could do, but not now. Now they needed to take care of Akiko and get out of the museum before reinforcements arrived. So the red haired girl huffed before placing her palms on the floor and lifting them up. The marble floor lifted and formed a wall between Noctia and Arma.

"Aki," Arma turned and ran towards her sister after Airi had fired off her attack. While the girl who had attacked Akiko was stunned, Arma dragged her hand along the ground, breaking up marble chunks and threw them at the chain that was attached to the claw. "It's time to go." The chain broke apart and she gently grabbed Akiko's arm, pulling her along towards the portal Airi had made.

Kokuyo Kano - Noctia - The Aftermath
Noctia brought her arms up to shield her face from the rubble that flew into the air when Arma created the wall. The Magical Girl clenched her hand around her sword and jumped up. She knew that Arma was trying to get away, but if she could attack her, get her to stick around a bit longer. By the time that she leapt over the wall, however, she saw Arma grab the winged Magical Girl and flee.

The green eyed girl sighed before turning back towards Cordiculya and jumping down from the wall of broken marble. Noctia was still feeling the energy flow from her newly acquired powers. It was still a bit surreal to her, and she didn't even get a chance to test out her powers now that Arma had fled. She let a heavy sigh escape her lips before she glanced at Cordiculya. A smirk grew on her lips as she folded her arms over her chest.

"You sure were eager to see Arma and I fight, hey Cordy?"
Noctia asked as she walked over to the princess Magical Girl. "Who knew you'd have a hand at bringing forth my transformation. I guess you like me more than you thought, hm?" The girl looked around at the destruction that had been caused by the Magical Girls fighting. She was sure the museum wasn't going to appreciate the broken displays and the large chunks of floor missing. Noctia sighed heavily, not really sure how to transform back, but just thinking about it must've triggered the change. Before she knew it, Kano was back in her casual clothes and the wounds were still there, but not aching as bad.

"Thank you, for helping, I mean." Kano glanced at Cordiculya and offered a small smile.
