    Getsu City/Bishoujo City, Getsu

    Getsu City, also known as Bishoujo city, is a large city on Getsu Island. It is one of the largest islands in the world. Being that it is in the North Pacific Ocean, the dominant culture on this island is Japanese, with a slight American influence in the fashion sense and food culture, and a higher population of foreigners than Japan. On first glance it looks like a calmer version of Tokyo and New York City, but it's much more spacious. It is also the home of the Elite Magical Girl Academy, which is hidden away on the outskirts of Getsu City.

    The farther you go out from Getsu City, the more green you'll begin to see. There are plenty of farms, villages, and beautiful beaches once you leave Getsu City. Unfortunately, the countryside can be even more dangerous than the city, with Youma hiding in the surrounding forests and often attacking small villages freely. It is where ancient, rare Youma are said to hide.

    On Campus Locations
    Note: Try not to have too many character's congregrating in the same area! :) These spots are mostly for character socialization, but may become key points in the rp at some point.

    House A - Living quarters for some of the students.
    House B - Also a living quarters for some of the students.
    Main Building - Where the classrooms and faculty dorms are located.
    Library - A large library where girls can find books on just about anything magical girl related or not.
    Gym - The school gym for indoor sports and such.
    Rooftop - The rooftop of the main building.
    Stables and barn - Place where horses and other animals are kept.
    Dining Hall - Place to eat.

    In door swimming pool - A small swimming pool located near the dorm buildings.
    Courtyard - For outside celebrations, eating, lollygagging. Has a large fountain.
    Orchards - Apple orchards not too far from the main buildings, with a scenic trail.
    Studio - Equipped with a ballet barre, a piano, and a sound proof room in the back for practicing musicians.
    Volleyball net - A volleyball net off to the side of the pool with sand.
    Tennis Court - Near the courtyard, behind a gate with bleachers for onlookers.
    Greenhouse - A decent sized greenhouse for those with a green thumb.
    Bath House - For baths. Also has showers.

    Training Room - Magical Girl Simulation room.( Max: 2-4 Players at a time.)

    Off Campus
    Note: These places only become available after classes.

    Wacdonalds - American fast food.
    Bishoujo Bistro - Cute cafe place themed around magical girls.
    Getsu's Comic Store - Three tier store that sells Video Games, Comics and Manga, Board games, and also card games. Plus other niche stuff that would fall in the geeky category.
    Magical Girl Museum - A small museum full of magical girl and Youma artifacts. Mainly calcified heartstones and magical girl weapons.

    Getsu Lake - Getsu's largest lake. Out in the country.
    Getsu Temple - A large temple nestled in the city. Open for blessings and prayers. Also home to a lot of festivals.
    Spiral Heart - A giant ferris wheel in the heart of the city. Arguable the largest ferris wheel in the world.

    Royal Palace - A tourist destination. Very rarely will you see the Queen and the family as their living area is off limits.
    North Lake - Not a lake, but a mall. Has an indoor ice skating rink.

  • Posting Rules
    1. When posting, use your character's name as a header and their location.
    2. During battles, do not autohit NPCs. This includes Youma and Magical Girl.
    3. No metagaming or Godmodding, at all. If you have permission to do so from the Player, then this is fine.
    4. No collaborative posts, unless two characters are on a date , or something similar and there is no risk of another being around.
    5. If you are inactive without word for two weeks, then you will be dropped and your character will be taken control of by me. Posting IC means you agree to this rule.
    6. No sex scenes within the IC thread. And definitely no sex scenes with people not in your age range.
    7. Intermediate writing standards are expected in this rp, and I will accept no less than a paragraph(5-7 sentences) for IC posts.

    Combat Rules
    1. No Auto-hitting or taking control of a Youma. This is mainly for plot purposes. If you were to take control of one of the enemies this may be interrupt plots or ideas we have in mind. Also to keep the fights balanced and to make sure everyone gets their fair share of butt-kicking from the Youma. You are welcome to direct a hit at a Youma, but do not say the attack has landed, until the person controlling the Youma acknowledges it as fact. Youma Players reserve the right to say a Youma's attack has landed on a character, to kidnap players, or anything else that enemy characters may do. This is, again, for plot purposes. Rest assured we won't ever inflict fatal wounds on your character without your consent, and if we plan to
    kidnap or do anything similar to your character we may inform you first depending.

    2. Be reasonable. If your character has already used a couple of attacks that require a decent amount of power or more advanced utility skills it will show. Their energy is not infinite. I'm going to give people freedom to pick their skills and attempt to dodge/evade/attack, but ultimately whether something affects the Youma is up to
    the Youma player to keep things fun, fresh, and fair.

    3. The first time you use one of your character's spells, please provide a description of what it does in your post, or include it in a spoiler tag. This will make things easier on everyone, especially the Youma players.

"Try not to touch anything..."

Kano just rolled her eyes as she examined all the paper figures before moving towards the door, making sure to lock it before she shut it. The brunette sighed when the door shut behind her. At least that much was over. She'd hoped the white haired girl would just sleep with how her words had been slurring. Kano loosened her tie as she walked conveniently down the hall to her own room. When she shut the door and locked it, she slipped her tie off and hung it up on a hanger along with her vest. She removed her boots and continued undressing, tossing her clothes in the hamper before putting on some sweat pants and a tank top. Kano was about to turn off the lights when she saw an envelope sitting on her nightstand and frowned. She would worry about that later.

Thankfully, it didn't take Kano long to fall asleep after she turned off the lights and her head hit the pillow, she had a dreamless sleep, or at least she didn't remember her dreams. When she woke the next morning, Kano wasn't exactly rested, but that wasn't abnormal. She dressed in casual clothing, just a pair of jeans, t-shirt, and a black jacket, then headed down stairs to see the woman who ran the front desk pinning something to the bulletin board.

"Good morning, Miss Kokuyo." The woman greeted and Kano offered a small smile. "The pairings are up for the field trip to the museum today if you'd like to take a look. The bus will be leaving around ten thirty, after you girls have had breakfast."

"Field trip?" Kano had forgotten all about the trip with all the festivities of the other night. The woman just nodded as she went back to her post in her office. The brunette moved towards the paper and scanned for her name. Her finger slid down the paper and stopped. "Aozora, Miyuki. Lovely."
x--------------------x
After breakfast, Kano went back to her room and grabbed her saber before glancing at the clock. It was almost ten fifteen and Kano didn't like to be late. So she made her way back downstairs and out towards the front of the main driveway of the school where she could see a large black bus sitting idly. The brunette made her way onto the bus, nodding at the bus driver before finding a seat towards the middle. The bus was similar to a charter bus and Kano was thankful for plush seats since she had already decided to nap if she could.

Kano found a seat by the window and sat down with a huff. She folded her arms and closed her eyes, hearing other girls starting to board the bus shortly after she did. The brunette tried to block most of the noise out as she rested her head against the window. She thought, for a brief moment, that maybe she should've gone to find Miyuki since they were supposed to be paired together, but the thought left her almost immediately after thinking it. Miyuki was a big girl, besides it wasn't like she was going to have to search the campus to find Kano.

House B > Field Trip

Light spilled from the window, overpowering and banishing every last bit darkness that overtook the room. The short-haired girl groaned in response, pulling the covers over head in attempt to create even a little bit a shade that might put herself back into a blissful slumber. As if last night wasn't already a handful… luckily she didn't drink enough of that punch to result in a nasty hangover. But the faded memory of the chaperons stepping up and dismissing the students from the banquet, as well as Ava-Rose's powerful exit was already enough to exhaust the blonde's mind. She even went as far as to keep an eye on Ava all the way back to the dormitories. Thankfully they lived at the same house. But no matter how many times Jun tried to call out to Ava-Rose or try to get her attention, the pink-haired girl was in too much of an emotional wreck to even notice Jun trailing behind. It wasn't until Jun was sure the taller girl slammed herself in her correct dorm room when Jun returned to her own.

After a while longer of trying to fall back asleep, the blonde finally gave into the reality that it was not going to happen. So why not just get ready for the field trip today, she thought. Flinging the sheets off her body, Jun let out a loud yawn as she shuffled out of bed and gathered a few things for a quick trip down to the bathhouse. On her way over, Jun stopped right before exiting the dormitories. Her eyes lingering on the papers that were being pinned up on the bulletin board. Jun walked up to it, almost bumping into a brunette that walked passed. She paused next to a woman who appeared to have just finished hanging up the papers, and greeted her politely.

"Are these the pairings for the field trip to the museum?" Jun asked, her pink hues skimming the sheet for her own name [BCOLOR=#000000]"That's right, the bus should be leaving by ten thirty today."[/BCOLOR] The woman answered and Jun responded with a nod. Eventually, she spotted her name paired along with no other than the ice princess herself, Ava-Rose. To think she didn't already have enough Ava to deal with last night. It's as if fate decided not being in the same team as Ava-Rose after all those years of sharing the same classes, was enough of a break from the pink-haired princess. Well, at least it was nothing Jun couldn't handle… for the most part.

When Jun finished up at the bathhouse and got dressed, she hurried to the dining room for some breakfast. She contemplated whether she should go find Ava, but thought it was best she'd just meet her on the bus. Who knew how long Ava-Rose would need to get ready.

Once Jun arrived at the bus, she noticed there was one other person already aboard. The girl appeared to be sleeping, so Jun tried her best to settle into a seat as quietly as possible.

Miyuki Aozora
Room 2C ---> Bus

Outfit

Miyuki was woken abruptly by the sound of her phone's alarm, and lazily began to search with her hands for the handheld device. She found it tucked underneath her pillow, with no recollection of how it had gotten there. When she removed it, the ringing of the alarm seemed to beat against her skull, and Miyuki opened her bloodshot eyes in pain. "Getsu Museum Today! 10:30 a.m." Miyuki read the notification off the phone screen, eyebrows furrowing briefly. The girl suddenly bolted out of her bed, her blanket wrapped around her like a cocoon and causing her to slightly lose her footing. "The field trip!" Miyuki stammered, ignoring the fact that she had nearly fallen, and rushing over to collect her toiletries for the bath house.

The bath house wasn't too busy, which meant Miyuki could get in and out with little trouble. She was too focused on getting ready to notice or acknowledge anyone she may have known. The small hangover she had didn't help to improve her mood, either, but the excitement over visiting the museum helped to push her through it. When she finished in the bath house, she went back up to her room to finish getting ready, and have a few snacks that she stashed away in her drawer.

It was a little after ten when Miyuki left her room and glided down the stairs leading into the lobby. She had much more energy after eating a granola bar and drinking some water, and her mood had improved quite a bit. Miyuki hoped that if she hurried, she could beat whoever was her partner to the window seat. Ruby red eyes searched the main room curiously, before they landed on the field trip roster that had been posted. She sauntered over, the tip of her index finger moving along the page in search of her name and partner. Kokuyo Kano. For some reason it didn't surprise the white haired girl that Kano had been selected as her 'buddy' for the field trip. She would have preferred Ava Rose, but something told her that Ava probably wasn't feeling the same way.

It was during her walk to where the bus was waiting that Miyuki had time to reflect on what she could remember about last night. She quite vividly recalled Ava storming out of the banquet, never to be seen again. At that point in time Miyuki was indifferent to Ava's anger, she had had no idea that Ava would even care so much about a little teasing. There was Momoji, who she remembered being very eager, but also friendly. Tripping into Jun and ruining her outfit. Then, there was Kano and Samantha. Miyuki couldn't recall much about that event. Whether that was because Miyuki had willingly chosen to forget it all, or because she was too drunk to remember any of it was a mystery she'd rather leave unsolved.

The bus came into sight and Miyuki took a deep breath as she stepped into the large vehicle. When she got inside, she wasn't at all shocked to find out how nice the bus was. Luxuries had become the norm ever since she had been accepted into Elite. She scanned shortly for Kano, and found her sitting by the window seat. Her eyes filled with disappointment when she saw the brunette lounging in the chair, and slowly walked over to where Kano had been seated. Well, I guess I don't have to sit with her... Miyuki thought to herself, eyes glancing around the near empty bus. Her bottom lip unknowingly started to poke out into a pout, and she looked back down at Kano. "Hi, Kano." Miyuki greeted, her lips curving into a subtle smile. She'd noticed that there was a sword lying on her seat, Kano's magical heartstone, judging from the energy it gave off.

Miyuki moved to pick up the saber off of her seat, but it wouldn't budge at all. What the hell is this thing made of? It goes without saying that Miyuki wasn't the strongest, being someone who was used to only lifting up paper, but she could at least lift forty pounds. This thing was much heavier than any sword should be. Or, perhaps it was strange magic, since it hadn't seemed to make even a dent in her seat. She looked over at Kano, wondering if she would even help at all. "Am I wrong to assume you put this...anchor here to save my seat?" Miyuki asked, flustered as she removed her hands from the sword. There was always the possibility that Kano had saved this seat for someone else, or was using it to ward off other girls from sitting there. "In which case, you wouldn't mind giving up your window seat would you? It's only fair after you watched me struggle with your sword."

"How did you even get that thing in here?" Miyuki asked, genuinely curious.

Mina Strand - House A to Bus

Unlike some of the other students, Mina had little trouble getting up in the morning, particularly when she didn't have anything special to drink the other night. No hangover, nothing else of the sort to trouble her as she got out of bed around 8:00, and went through her usual morning routine. Dress up in the usual uniform, with slacks instead of the skirt, of course. Go take a bath, and so-on...

Breakfast was her usual fare: a cup of tea, and a combination of bread, meat and cheese. Fairly simple, but it would definitely keep one going longer than a bowl of cereal, and why opt for less when the dining hall provided plenty of options? She'd practically wandered off to classes before she remembered the trip. It was a nice relief, no need to go grab a bunch of stuff and sit around in class all day. It was beginning to seem like the third year was far more relaxed or focused on practical education, which was definitely a good thing. Fighting Youma, running around town with friends, somehow still actually learning something.

The bus didn't leave until 10:30, so there was a little time to get ahead on homework. Mina sat down to work at her desk for an hour or so. No reason to just sit around and waste the time in the morning. Once it was closer to time to leave, she headed back downstairs to check the flyer for the trip. She couldn't help but chuckle at everyone being paired up. It's not like they were little kids anymore, so was the buddy system really necessary? She was paired up with...Samantha Edinburgh. Well, at least she knew the girl somewhat, by now. She'd have to give her a little flak about the whole "date" thing the other night.

She climbed onto the bus after a few of the others, and just claimed a seat near the front. Time to wait for the trip to actually start. In the meantime, she pulled a novel out of her bag and started reading.

Mo found her spirits falling as the girl rushed herself back to her house. The night had ended quite oddly for the eccentric woman. She had hoped to avoid going back alone, but both women seemed to be occupied as of now. Slowly figuring out which building was A Mo shuffled herself back to her dorm room, only just barely getting into pajamas before passing out on her bed.

~The Next Morning~

As the sun rose so did Mo and most of the academy. And like anyone who had taken too much punch Mo had a throbbing headache. It was only a little past her alarm, which was set fairly early. There was no chance she was going to miss todays activities, the museum trip. Mo had heard of more exciting fieldtrips but apparently this was what the school had in mind for them. A trip to a museum. Slowly shuffling out of bed and onto the floor Mo started her morning routine.

After a brisk bath Mo fluffed up her hair and searched for a daily outfit back at her dorms. She never cared much to spend too long in the bath, though she had relaxed a bit this morning. They were going to be walking around and it was fairly chilly. Tugging out a nice dark grey t shirt with a faded wolf howling at the moon printed on the front along with a pair of soft and comfortable blue grey joggers Mo begun to set her outfit in motion, adding a colorful black fading to blue beanie on top to complete the look. Her usual black combat boots tapped against the ground as she left in search of food for her growling stomach.

Mo didn't find it hard to procure snacks. Her natural animosity got her far with her newfound neighbors. She was on her way to the lobby with a packet of fruit snacks in hand along with a bottle of water. It would quench her thirst for now, and hopefully stop the pounding in her skull. There was a list taped in the lobby downstairs. Apparently they were going in partners. Mo had to find someone named Charee. She sounded cutesy from just her name. Sighing, Mo headed out to the buses with a crack of her neck.

It seemed Mo was fairly early, though Miyuki was already in the aisle seemingly struggling with a sword that laid on the seat. It looked to be a hearthstone as no one sane would bring such a large weapon around at all times. Mo double checked she had her own on before proceeding down the aisle. "Morning Miyuki, Kano~" she called out to the pair as she passed, giving off a friendly wave as she chose a window seat. She took a glance around at the people that had sat themselves around her. No one was there yet. Mo had to wait until more people arrived to ask around for her partner.

At 7:30am a soft pop song began to play, the alarm Charee had set days in advance, which slowly woke Charee from her slumber. A dull ache clung to Charee as she forced herself to shuffle out of bed, unwilling to abandon her plan due to a minor hangover. Now that Charee was back at Elite Academy she couldn't dress up in her usual lolita outfits every day, instead having to wear the school uniform, so Charee relished the opportunity to wear 'casual' clothing. Shuffling over to the ensuite bathroom Charee began her routine by brushing her teeth, hoping to get rid of any bad breath she might have from last night.

Once she was washed and dressed, Charee rummaged around in her drawer for her video camera; the reason Charee had woken up hours earlier than necessary was so that she had time to record a make-up tutorial for her fashion channel. After setting up her camera besides her mirror, and checking she had all the makeup out she needed, Charee began recording. To any onlooker Charee would look insane, repeating sentences to herself in different tones so she could pick the best one in editing later, but Charee was truly enjoying herself. Even if her sherbet sweet ultra kawaii persona was put on, Charee's enthusiasm for Lolita fashion was real.

By 9:30am Charee was finally done, makeup complete and video finished. Since she had time to spare Charee decided to have an indulgent breakfast of pain au chocolate with fruit, greek yoghurt and cake, masterfully avoiding spilling any on her outfit. Usually Charee couldn't manage such a large portion of food, but after missing out on most of the banquet last night her tummy was crying out for it. Eating it at her usual slow pace, by the time she'd managed to finish what was a monstrous breakfast for the petite girl it was almost time to go. Quickly checking to list to see who her partner was, Charee skipped off to the bus. Momoji… Charee couldn't remember who that was. Hopping onto the bus, Charee surveyed the cluster of girls already there, not recognising anyone as a Momoji.

"Um, is Momoji on here?"

Samantha - On the bus
@R-9 Pilot

The trilling of the alarm beat against Samantha's head like the world's shrillest and most irritating war drum. Except the only battle Samantha had to face was pulling herself out of the exquisite dream she was having (it was a vague and unclear vision of cupcakes and two oddly familiar knights).

Samantha's eyes creaked open, and groaned as she took several clumsy swipes until she finally hit the top of the damnable device, plunging the room back into blissful silence. Samantha allowed herself to dream that she could just fall back into the wonderful void of sleep, but she knew they had a fieldtrip today that she didn't want to miss out on. While she wasn't exactly the most academically gifted, Samantha did actually enjoy the school's history classes, and a trip to the museum sounded like a pleasant enough excursion. To that end, she dragged herself out of bed and zombie walked to the bathroom. She took her time brushing her teeth and getting the birds nest on her head to resemble human hair again, enough technically she had woken up later then intended. At the pace she was going, there wasn't going to be time for anything else but getting ready for the trip, but ehhh. She could whatever she needed to do when they got back.

It was only after she had gotten dressed and was halfway down the corridor to the cafeteria did she realize her phone had an unread message. Scratch that, it actually two unread messages She had just been checking her reminders (when the hell was she supposed fit in homework between all this 'training to defend yourself from corrupt monsters'!?) when her eyes had alighted upon the flashing symbols. Her surprise had only increased when it became clear just who the messages were from. With a flick, Samantha opened up the first message.

Hey Samantha.

Just giving you a forewarning, that there's some plans to visit the city at some point soon. There's no concrete date, and knowing Father's schedule it's pretty likely to be pushed back, but Mother wants to know if you'll be able to take a break out of your no doubt busy schedule to meet us. I'll text you the details when we know for sure.

Try to get SOME studying done.
Samuel.

Writing a text like some stuffy letter, and not being able to resist a jab or two as he went. This was definitely her twin brother, aright. Samantha sighed; the elation she felt from the idea of seeing her family so soon was tempered by the fact that her brother had been the messenger. It wasn't like she didn't want to see him, more the fact that he just made it difficult to look forward to seeing him. What had she even done that had earned her this up tight attitude, anyway? He'd never been on her case this much when they had just been tykes. In any case, she reasoned she had better check the second message.

Also, Caroline asks you to mail her some of those sweets you can only get in the city. She says you'll know which ones.

Samantha (perhaps tellingly) did indeed know which sweets they were talking about. She made a note to get some during the trip, if possible. Maybe pick up a bag or two for herself…

Samantha sent back a text confirming she had received the request, and that'd she would look forward to seeing everyone again when they actually did visit. Admittedly, she hadn't been able to resist sending some snipes of her own back at her brother (mostly saying that he should avoid studying too much, least he curl up on the sofa and fall asleep like a baby again), but fair is fair, right? That sorted, she finally got in line to grab some breakfast.

After shoving some syrupy pancakes down her gullet, Samantha double backed to her room to finalise her preparations for the trip. While she was already wearing the orchid coloured dress she intended to wear for the trip, she did still need to pick up her book bag. She didn't exactly want to bring it, and hoped she wasn't going to need to make a lot of notes on this trip, but she also didn't want to risk leaving it behind either. That, and it did look pretty cute with her white cashmere coat. That too.

All set and ready go; Samantha jaunted over to the bus, feeling refreshed and ready to face the day. At least, until she passed through House A's reception for a third time that morning, and saw the notice for the trip. She hadn't really paid it any mind, assuming it was just a more general notice, but as she passed it for the third time…

"…Buddy system?"

Samantha scanned down the list of paired names, brows shooting straight up when she saw her name. Or more accurately, the name of the person she had been paired with.

"…Mina Strand." Samantha has wheezed out the name, and had staggered out of the reception, heading towards the bus with a fearful and hesitant gait.

Why Mina? Out of everyone in the academy, why her? Samantha had intended to let the events of the dance just quietly fade from memory, possibly helped along by her avoiding its primary witness for a few days. It was going to be pretty much impossible to dodge Mina if she was paired with her at the museum, however. At this point, her only hope was for Mina to have spontaneously forgotten the previous night's events, or for her to somehow avoid the topic entirely.

It didn't take long for the bus to come into sight, despite Samantha's slow and less than eager steps. To normal eyes, the bus looked exactly like it always had, being well maintained and of high quality. To the blond girl, the vehicle seemed to ooze some of sort of foreboding aura, like it was the bus to hell itself. Gulping, Samantha moseyed up to the bus' door at a painfully slow pace, and took even longer to ascend up its set of stairs.

Samantha took a second to take a look at the bus' occupants, peeking over the front set of seats. In addition to a number of girls Samantha didn't recognise, she could see that Kano and Miyuki had already boarded (she squashed the slightly possessive annoyance at seeing the two of them together for another point in time), and there seemed to be some scuffle about seating. Additionally, Samantha could spy Charee was also on the bus, looking a bit lost as she glanced around the seats. Samantha briefly entertained the idea of just abandoning Mina to sit with Charee, but knew that doing so would probably just cause as many problems as it would solve. To that end, she had finally had to acknowledge that Mina had already found a spot near the front of the bus, and appeared to be comfortably reading something.

Samantha took a second to gather her resolve: this whole thing was only as embarrassing as she made it to be. Or didn't have to be embarrassing at all, if she could steer conversation away from last night's events. That was also a solid point.

Stepping lightly, Samantha slid into the seat next to Mina. After a few seconds, she eventually managed to say,

"Morning, Mina. I guess we'll be…trip buddies, or whatever it's called." Samantha attempted a strangled laugh, before glancing down at the other girl's book. "Soooo, what are you reading?"

Kano opened her eyes and glanced over to see Miyuki trying to lift her sword. A smirk grew on the brunette's lips as she sat up and rolled her neck to the get the kink that had formed with her leaning posture the past few minutes. "My heartstone is what makes my saber so heavy." Kano chuckled as she gently grabbed the sword from the shorter girl's hands and lifted it like a piece of paper. "Since it's my heartstone only I can wield my sword. I'd very much like to see you try and release it from it's sheath, but this is too small a space for that sort of thing." Even though Kano had heard Miyuki's request to have the window seat. Of course she didn't want to let the girl have it, but she was too tired to argue and she was sure the girl would pout if Kano said no.

"I'll make a deal with you, Miyuki." Kano stood and rested her elbows on the head rest of the seat in front of her. "I will let you have the window seat, if you let me use you as a head rest." She tossed a side glance at the white haired girl and smirked. This was either going to let Kano keep the window seat, or at least let her have a softer pillow for her nap. Either way, she was going to be comfortable on this ride. "So what do you say, Miyuki? I think it's a pretty fair deal I'm offering." The brunette briefly noticed Momoji and lifted her hand in greeting before turning her attention back to the white haired girl in front of her.

The sound of Ava's personalized alarm on her phone blared throughout her bedroom. The pink-haired girl groaned and whined from the major hangover she had received from last night's "fun." She must have drunk the most punch out of everyone else. It would explain why she didn't remember pretty much anything about last night. Which was a good thing. If the Ice Princess had remembered what happened and how she acted at the banquet event, she might literally die from the embarrassment of it all. Sitting up in her golden dress. Looking down at the pretty fabric, forgetting that she fell asleep in it. Not motioning towards her phone; letting the entire song play before picking up her device and placing it in her gold and black purse that she was going to be using for the day.

Standing up, extremely slowly. Giving a light stretch and a small yawn. "What the hell happened last night?" Looking at the dried make up on her face in her vanity mirror. Her tears had made it run down her cheeks during the night. Having too big of a headache to complain about looking like some cheap hooker, Cinderella wannabe. "The Field Trip... damn it." Almost forgetting about the hold thing. Luckily she had placed a reminder of it on her calendar a few days ago. Any chance she got to get out of the school for the day, she would take it. Pausing for only a few more seconds before stripping out of her dress. Zipping it up in it's garment bag. She'd have it shipped back home and cleaned like all of her outfits later today. The ice princess never cleaned anything of her's. She was too "important" to do labor like that.

Putting on her pink and gold bathrobe and grabbing up her shower kit, heading down the stairs of House B. When she got to the front entrance of the building, the lady in charge of the front desk gave her the side-eye. The poor lady didn't forget how rude the pink-haired diva was to her the first day of the Third Year's arrival to Elite. Not in the mood for any witty insults at the moment, Ava-Rose placed a fake smile on her face. "Hi. I just wanted to know when is the Field Trip?" The lady didn't fall for the fake nice Ava, but doing her job came before anything else, even if it meant not ignoring an entitled brat. "The bus will be leaving at 10:30 on the dot, Miss Ava-Rose." The lady pointed to the bulletin board. Blue eyes scanning over the paper she was directed towards. "Are we in first grade? Field Trip Buddy..." Delicate fingers scanning over names until she found her own. Right next to it... "Hirose, Jun... great." Highly annoyed, but secretly excited about being paired with the blonde girl.

Even though most of the night had been a big blur, she remembered some of the fun she did have. Mostly with Jun and Miyuki. After the second cup of spiked punch, that's when her mind went blank and she was running solely on emotions and alcohol. Hopefully the next time she got drunk, Ava would know she was getting drunk and composed herself better.

After finding who her field trip buddy was, the ice princess headed to the bathhouse to get cleaned up and refreshed. Taking about a forty minute shower and twenty more minutes to exfoliate her body and moisturize it afterwards. Once her morning routine was done, the pink-haired primadonna headed back to her room to get dressed. "Why does my head still hurt?" Holding the right side of said pulsating head, while she walked up the flights of stairs towards her room. Locking the door behind her as she started getting dressed.

While to most girls and guys, casual meant; jeans, a t-shirt, maybe a skirt instead of jeans and some light makeup. When it came to Ava-Rose; her casual was anything but. Going for a more rocker/hollywood slut look, with her hair in two big buns on the top of her head. Ava-Rose now only had to pick out the right jacket to go with the outfit. Even though she rarely ever got cold, she still did own a few cute jackets. Another accessory that just made an outfit work. "This one is perfect!" Pulling out a new, bright red, bomber jacket. Posing in her floor-length mirror, near her closet. "Yes!" Hopping in the air; regretting it a few seconds later. Taking a seat on the edge of her bed. "Fuck!" Deciding that it was best to not be super excited about anything today. "No more jumping around." The pink-haired drama queen placed on her rose gold sunglasses and headed towards the bus.

While the other girls had time to eat breakfast, Ava-Rose didn't eat anything before Noon. She had snacks in her purse that her mothers finally shipped to her, but those wouldn't be eaten until 12pm. Getting to the bus at 10:29. One minute before it was suppose to leave. Grinning at the bus driver, as she glided onto the charter bus. She was shocked to see that Elite actually didn't have them on some used school bus. Filled with too much pride to acknowledge it outwardly.

Before she scanned the bus to find Jun, she spotted Miyuki. And with Miyuki there was Kano. Rolling her eyes behind her sunglasses. "Hey Miyuki. You look as cute as ever." Completely over everything from last night; though she didn't remember anything after her friend had fallen into Jun's arms. Luckily she was too drunk that night to remember the part about her friend laughing at her. Giving Kano a quick glance over her sunglasses, before shaking her head and heading towards the back of the bus.

She located her field trip buddy and smiled down at her. Sliding into the seat and crossing her legs. The gold and black purse placed in-between the two girls. Her head slightly turned in Jun's direction. "You dress like a homeless person..." That was how Ava-Rose greeted most people. With an insult. Resting her tired head against the soft seat and closing her eyes. Ready to get this entire day over with. Less excited about it now that her brain was trying to murder her.

Miyuki Aozora
Bus ---->

Seeing Kano lift the saber with such ease was impressive, but much less so after Kano confirmed Miyuki's thoughts about it being a heartstone. She rolled her eyes away from the brunette now standing in front of her, just in time to see Momoji approaching from the front of the bus. The short haired girl was first to greet them, but Miyuki did smile and wave at Momoji. "Morning, Momoji."
Miyuki couldn't forget how it was thanks to Momoji that she was kept from being a third wheel and completely alone at the banquet.

Miyuki turned back to face her 'buddy' when Kano brought up the possibility of making a deal. She was intrigued, curious about what it could be. There wasn't much Miyuki could give, but she was willing to listen.
"Ok?" Miyuki raised an eyebrow as Kano began to explain, her expression shifting into that of disbelief when Kano finished speaking. "Seriously?" Miyuki was clearly thinking about it. After all, they had already gotten a little more than friendly at dinner once, but things had changed. Miyuki now knew that Kano flirted with any pretty girl, and it seemed Kano enjoyed getting a rise out of people. She couldn't stand to look at the smug look on Kano's face much longer. She plopped down in the seat nearest the aisle, defeated.

Miyuki glanced up and saw several girls she recognized, but the only notable one was Ava-Rose. She was expecting her pink haired friend to scold her, or at the very least give her the cold shoulder for how she got picked on last night, but Ava acted completely normal. "Y-you too, Ava." She replied, sinking back into her chair with a sigh. That girl really was unpredictable, but she was glad to still be on good terms with the ice princess.

With everyone settled into their seats, Miss Shizuka and Miss Airhart boarded the bus. They took the seats all the way in the front, not at all concerned about what the girls would be getting into in the back. Miss Airhart turned around as the engine started up and the bus began to move. "Now, girls. We're going to be normal civilians today, so please try not to do anything reckless at the museum of Famous Magical Girls and Heartstones. The last thing the headmistress wants is to draw unnecessary attention to the school. If you stray from the group, please make sure you partner is with you." Miss Airhart turned back around, and the bus turned out into the streets, headed for the heart of Getsu city.

Mina Strand - Bus

Mina looked up from her reading at Samantha's greeting. "Morning. Yeah, I guess we are. It's like we're supposed to be little kids," she said, and laughed much more openly. "Still, probably will make it easier to turn us loose instead of try to herd us all around." She shrugged.

"Oh, this," she asked, folding her book closed on a finger to keep her place. "It's just a little light reading. Vampire Hunter D." Truly, the height of literature. "Nothing fancy, you know. But it does help me keep my language skills up. Not like I can read anything too fancy in Japanese, anyway." She wasn't native herself, and only really arrived to start her schooling at Elite, which was a bit of a difficult change, to say the least. They were multinational enough at the school, and on Getsu in its entirety, that it wasn't as jarring a transition as it could have been, but still.

She replaced her bookmark and put the book away. Better to leave it alone if she had company. "So, I missed the rest of the banquet. How'd it go?" Neutral, not actively digging at any silly plans or foibles. Just genuinely curious about what had happened after she left. It could still be a dangerous line, but it wasn't actively trying to pick on Samantha. No, it would be much more obvious if Mina were doing that.

Ava-Rose & Jun
@Justin The Mad King & @Myka
Jun easily claimed a window seat near the back of the bus and immediately felt her morning energy slowly begin to plummet. There was just something about car rides that managed to put her in a drowsy state. Pulling out a pair of earbuds and stuck each end in her ear as she played some music from her phone, her eyes soon shifted back out the window in a thoughtful stare. It wasn't until a few minutes later that Jun glanced back at the bus and noticed how many more girls now arrived. Including the diva herself, Ava-Rose. The girl really does dress up for everything, whether it was the uniform or 'casual' clothing, Jun just wasn't sure how the ice princess could do it every time.

Pulling out one of her earbuds, Jun turned to face the pink haired girl as she took a seat and cocked her head slightly. Her rosy eyes resting on the flashy purse next to her before inspecting every other bit of clothing and accessory the girl wore. She dressed like some kind of celebrity… they were just going to the museum right?

The blonde smacked her lips together in a tight line then opened her mouth to greet Ava-Rose, but the diva beat her to it.

"You dress like a homeless person..."

Jun couldn't help but smile after that heart-warming insult, typical Ava-Rose greeting. The blonde gently bit down on her lip and tried to shake off any urge of a chuckle escaping. Instead the girl sunk comfortably in her seat, lifting up a leg to rest on the edge and twisting just a bit so her head rested on the wall of the bus. That way she was still facing her field trip buddy. Completely aware on how un-lady like she may appear at the moment while slightly egging on to Ava's previous greeting.

"And a good morning to you too princess." The short-haired girl flashed her a wide grin "If it was even good. Considering the amount of 'punch' you consumed last night AND your rather dramatic scene that's got everyone talking." Jun added, knowing exactly what it takes to bring Ava-Rose back to the alert. Such a big a stunt like what Ava pulled at the banquet, was sure something that would be the talk of the school for a while. Plus, the occasional death glares from Miss Airhart proved she hasn't forgotten either.

Ava-Rose could only give a smirk to Jun's actions. Not only did the blonde dress like a homeless person, she also acted like one. Uncivilized and messy. Rolling her eyes behind her shades, as she proceeded to take them off and placed them into her expensive gold purse. Looking around at everyone else that had gotten on the bus, barely keeping a grimace from growing when Miss Airhart got on. Huffing and bringing her attention back to Jun.

Eyebrows coming together in confusion. What was the blonde girl going on about? What did the punch have to do with anything? Ocean blue irises scanned the other girl's pink hues. "What... ARE you talking about?" Thinking that Jun was yet again trying to be funny but failing, as usual.

"What does punch have to do with anything? I was probably just tired. Would explain why I don't and can't remember much of that night. I do remember that hideous outfit you thought was a brilliant idea to wear." Smiling with her white and perfect teeth shining in the sunlight. "Stop telling lies, I did nothing of the sort. I was probably the life of the party..."

Jun's teasing demeanor and playful expression slowly began to wither at Ava's words. Is she being serious right now? This girl was completely clueless about last night's activities.

"You really don't remember?" her once provoking voice now calming as she furrowed her brows together. It was understandable, the pink-haired girl did have a lot of punch. A hazy memory is definitely a realistic outcome from alcohol intake. Especially with someone that's such a light-weight like Ava-Rose. Either way… it still wasn't a good side-effect and as small of a symptom it may be, it's still something a bit concerning. However, there still is a possibility the taller girl will once again remember the events from the banquet. The blonde rolled her eyes when Ava mentioned Jun's outfit from last night. At least the pompous brat did recall bits of the party.

Jun cleared her throat and dropped her leg back down as she fixed her posture in her seat to something more acceptable "What about the picture? Do you remember that?" the blonde asked, keeping her eyes fixed on the surprisingly unfazed Ava. As much as the Jun enjoyed teasing the ice princess, last night's events were still a pretty big deal. Maybe it would be best if the blonde didn't bring it back up.

Blue eyes shooting daggers into Jun's soul. "The picture... what picture?" Coming closer to Jun. "No one else knows about the picture, right?" With a not so innocent smile on her face. Though the way she had become closer to Jun made the color rise in her cheeks; moving back but still holding that glare. "I thought we talked about that. I don't want to speak of it anymore." Eyes closing for a few seconds and opening once again.

A more calm expression graced her beautiful features. "Why are you soo shocked by me not remembering a lot of the that night, anyway?" Folding her arms over her chest. The bomber jacket nearly engulfing her lithe frame. "Did we do something?" Asking in a serious tone and not a catty or bitchy one.

Jun tensed as Ava-Rose neared her way towards the blonde, the piercing glares causing Jun to lean back against the window even more. There wasn't much room for the short-haired girl to back up at this point, she was only inches away from the ice princess. Jun kept quiet as she stared at the flaming blue eyes while Ava spoke up. Boy, did she hate that picture.

"Right, okay. Point taken. I won't bring it up again." Jun reassured, though figuratively crossing her fingers at the statement.

The blonde relaxed when Ava eventually backed away, yet keeping a curious stare on the Ava's face.

Did Ava-Rose just blush?

Jun shook her head at the thought and instead shifted her gaze out the window "Nothing. Don't worry about it." She replied to Ava's question then glanced over for a moment "Trust me. If we did do something, you'd definitely not forget."

Ava-Rose went into her purse and pulled out her phone. Looking at her selfie camera, making sure she wasn't blushing anymore. Nearly choking on her next words when Jun stated that if they did something, the ice princess would NOT have forgotten it.

"Oh I would?" Putting her phone away, after taking multiple selfies to put on Instagram. "No trust me, I doubt any fun with you would be all that memorable." Turning to the shorter, blonde haired girl. "I hope you can act civilized at the museum. Wouldn't want to see you dragged out of the place for stealing something... or whatever you do." Holding back a smile from gracing her face.

Teasing other people wasn't as much fun as it was towards Jun. Ava-Rose enjoyed picking on Jun more than anyone else. Who would have imagined that the two of them would seem to be pushed together after two years of NEVER even speaking a word to one another.

A faint smirk grew on the blonde's lips when Ava flinched at what she said. Jun had to give it to the Ice Princess, she is a lot more amusing than she initially led on. "What ever you say princess." Jun shrugged in response, knowing best not to stir up any debate with the diva. Maybe having her as a field trip buddy wouldn't be so bad... or she spoke too soon.

"No promises." the blonde girl teased right back, finishing the conversation off with a single wink before turning her attention back out the window. Resting her chin against the palm of her hand, Jun panned the area outside until the museum came in to view "Looks like we're almost there."

Ava-Rose turned her head to see that Jun was right. They were basically at the museum at this point. "Good. The sooner we get this over with, the sooner I can rid myself of you." Rolling her eyes. Today was going to be a long one. And the ice princess would make sure Jun knew who she was dealing with soon enough.

So what if the girl was cute; Jun seemed to not get phased by her attitude. Something that only made Ava-Rose more irritated. It was as if she fed off of other's annoyance and hatred of her, but Jun didn't have that feeling. It was odd and new to the pink-haired drama queen. She wanted to figure out why, but was too prideful to ask outright.

"Let's get this going then." Getting ready to head off the bus.

Kokuyo Kano - Bus-->Getsu Museum
@Sailor Moon
Kano chuckled when Miyuki huffed and sat down in the aisle seat, the brunette taking her previous spot near the window. She heard Miss Airhart talking, but didn't really pay attention since she was already letting the cool glass help her get to sleep. She wasn't exactly sure how long she'd fallen asleep, but she felt the bus jerk to a stop and she inhaled deeply before sitting up. Her arms stretched up over her head and she rolled her neck. When her senses returned fully, she briefly recognized Miss Shizuka at the front of the bus addressing the girls.

"Ok, ladies," She started and Kano glanced around the bus, seeing a few girls she'd never seen before giggle at the professor. "Like Miss Airhart mentioned before, we are going to be with normal civilians, so no powers unless absolutely necessary. Which, of course, shouldn't happen today. We have four hours to explore the museum. Miss Airhart and I will be in the center of the museum in two hours and you all need to check in at that time and fifteen minutes before we leave. Understood?"

The girls offered a unanimous 'yes' as the teacher nodded and then stepped off the bus with Miss Airhart. Kano had been to the Getsu Museum before, when she was younger, but she remembered much. There was a lot of history on Magical Girls and heartstones that was useful to most. Not to mention there was just some history just on the city, as well as some cultural exhibits like art. Still, Kano didn't really expect to take too much away from this visit.

"Ready to go, buddy?" Kano asked as she stood and glanced at the white haired girl. Ever since she'd seen Miyuki at the banquet, she was a bit curious on how the girl would act. Apparently she had enjoyed the bit of attention she'd gotten at dinner a few days before and the brunette smirked at the thought. She mock bowed and flourished her arm towards the aisle. "After you."

Samantha and Mina - Bus -> Museum

"H-ha ha, yes, the banquet." Samantha wasn't sure if her smile became forced because this was going exactly the opposite to plan, or if recalling last night's really was becoming that mortifying. Samantha began to wring her hands as she struggled to meet Mina's eyes. "It was…certainly an experience."
[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]Just as she was racking her brain for some kind of diversion, she suddenly remembered a very real point of concern, and sat up straight in her seat while looking straight at Mina.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]"Oh! How did everything go with Charee? I mean, she looks fine," Samantha flicked her head down towards the back of the bus, where she seen the precious girl after climbing onto the vehicle. "But I haven't had a chance to ask her how it went. I hope you two didn't run into any serious trouble?"[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"Nah, we didn't have any trouble," Mina replied. "I'm glad she wasn't completely passed out, so I eventually helped her to her room. Don't know after that." She shrugged. That was about as far as it went, no trouble of any sort, but not much of an interesting story, either. The question did manage to distract her from further curiosity about the banquet proper, at least. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"I'm glad." Samantha sighed with relief. It did her a world of good to know that everything had turned out alright in the end. She [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]was [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]still pretty confused about how the heck Charee had managed to get drunk at all, but she supposed that was a mystery for the ages. Or until she could talk to Charee, whichever worked out first.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]The lull in the conversation gave Samantha pause. She didn't want to just spend the entire bus ride dodging questions, not the least because she wanted to know Mina a little better. Her eyes drifted down to the book that Mina had been reading, and an idea came to her mind.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]"Hey, would you mind telling me a little bit more about what you were reading? It sounds fascinating!"[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]Samantha was a romantic at heart (indeed, in her entire being), and she knew there was nothing more romantic in fiction then vampires! She would listen to Mina's synopsis, and that would be a nice way to fill the trip. Oddly enough, Mina looked kind of amused as she started…[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]----[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]By the time the bus pulls to a stop, Samantha is staring at Mina with a pale expression and her hand gripping the fold-down armrest of her seat. She's barely aware of Miss Shizuka's instructions, or that everybody else is filling out of the bus.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]"…That…got a lot more…rough, than I expected. Um, thanks… for the run down." Samantha squeaked out. After few moments, Samantha slowly pulled herself out of her seat, joining the back of the girls shuffling out of the bus. Thankfully, the fresh air managed to return some blood back into her cheeks, and the grand sight of the museum helped even her out. When she turned to see Mina, she put on a shaky smile.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent] "S-so, err, where to first?"[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Mina joined Samantha as soon as she could in also getting off the bus. It wasn't difficult to rejoin her buddy. "Hm, where to? I'd say the really old antiquity kind of stuff, but this isn't an art museum sort of thing, is it?" She paused for a while to think. She hadn't been to a magical girl museum before, which might be odd, as someone who was one. Or maybe it was enough of the everyday for her that she never thought to see what would be enshrined to the public for historical note. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"Think they've got anything about the old wars? That's usually a cool sort of history to go through." Magical girls had surely served in the past. One of the major factions did call themselves the Military Police, after all, so surely that meant soldiers had clashed on the battlefields of the past. Mina couldn't help a grin from appearing on her face as a bit of the battle-fever rose up in her for a brief moment. [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent][/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent][/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]"Stuff on the wars, huh?" Samantha grimaced slightly, still feeling like she wasn't emotionally balanced for something like that yet, but never the less considered the possibility. "There has to be some sort of map or guide in the lobby, right? That should say if there's anything like that in the museum."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]As the twosome made their way into the building, Samantha took a glance at Mina out of the corner of her eye. She hadn't expected Mina to be into reading such…particular things as this Vampire Hunter whatever, not to mention the girl had seemed pretty enthusiastic to check out the museum's section on the wars. Mina spoke openly, and cleaned up well, but there was [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]something [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]about the girl that Samantha couldn't place.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]Samantha reflected that, for all of her snap judgements, she still didn't know Mina that well. Still, she supposed that was one purpose of this trip.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]It didn't take long to find a map of the museum, and it appeared they were in luck: there was indeed a section on Magical Girl's involvement in military combat. Despite her apprehension, Samantha traced a finger from the lobby to the relevant section.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]"It looks like… it's a couple of rooms down. The room itself shouldn't be too hard to find, though." Samantha nodded, before turning to Mina. "Any particular reason you want to check it out?"[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"Awesome!" Mina's enthusiasm was clear enough. "Ah...why I want to check it out? Um, I just...like that kind of stuff, I guess." She shrugged, and started walking toward the exhibit, with Samantha keeping pace. "You should see me on a mission or something. It's probably kinda bad, but I really enjoy fighting, you know? It's a cool way to test my strength and stuff." [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]She probably wasn't giving the best picture of herself, but it was true enough. She was the sort of magical girl who really enjoyed things, but not for all the right reasons. It wasn't like she was the type to hide it, though. "Don't get me wrong, it can all be pretty horrible, but it doesn't change that I'm interested in that sort of stuff. And, you know, big damn heroes and all that are more appealing to me than the pretty princess-types and all that. Gotta be able to kick ass and look good doing it." [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Mina didn't know Samantha very well either, beyond that the other girl was a foreigner of some sort, by Getsu's standards. She'd have to at least ask where the other girl was from, maybe compare notes about adjusting to life abroad. But it would be a bit out of place to just drop that out of the blue, so she blurted it out anyway. "Hey, aren't you also an expat? Like, from Europe somewhere?" And she noticed she'd gone completely off topic. "Uh, sorry, that probably came out of left field." [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent][/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent][/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Samantha had listened to Mina's explanation of her stance of fighting in silence, though had ended up smiling despite herself. She wasn't going to lie and say she fully understood (her own idea kicking ass while looking good [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]included[/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent] the princess stuff, thank you very much), but she could at least see where Mina was coming from. She supposed when looking at it in that kind of light, she could understand Mina's interest in that particular area of history. The sudden change in topic take her second to recover from, however.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]Samantha blinked in surprise, and nearly faltered in her step at Mina's 'expat' question. After a few second, Samantha snorted back a snigger of laughter.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent] "Yes, Mina, that was a little unexpected. But you're not wrong; I was born and raised in England. Languages always came easily to me, so I ended up enrolling at Elite because I was already learning to speak Japanese."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]After a few moments, Samantha shot a beaming smile at Mina.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]"[What do you think of my English? Surely it is a language that can sway the heart of any knight I so desire, right]?"[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]Samantha maintained her smile for a few more seconds before she had a put a hand over her mouth to stifle her giggles. It was kind of strange to speak her mother tongue again, after so long of speaking nothing but Japanese.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"[Far better than mine,]" Mina replied, with a hint of her German accent. The giggling was contagious. "We should talk about stuff sometime. Maybe get together with anyone else from abroad and compare notes." Once the pair entered the exhibits proper, Mina quieted down a bit. She was the sort to move along pretty quickly, only sometimes stopping to read in more detail about things which caught her eye. [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent][/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent][/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Samantha had grinned at Mina's English, pretty impressed at it even with the slight accent. She hardly even noticed that they'd entered the exhibition hall proper. Even as Mina started to focus in on the actual reason they came to this place, Samantha was almost tempted to prod her into speaking English again, though she managed to stifle the desire.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]She couldn't resist, however, quietly answering Mina's question. More as if she was talking to herself, Samantha breathed,[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent] "[Yes, I think I'd like that very much…]"[/BCOLOR]

Miyuki Aozora & Kano Kokuyo
Museum

Miyuki dozed in and out of consciousness every so often, but having nothing to lean on to support her head made it impossible to get any rest. She'd look over at Kano, envious of the fact that the brunette girl could fall asleep so effortlessly and had the window seat to herself. She almost regretted passing up the opportunity to sit in Kano's seat, but Miyuki didn't fret since they had just entered the city limits. The tall, ancient architecture of her family's temple stood out amongst all of the buildings, since it towered over a lot of the businesses in the area. She wondered how her parents were doing, but the thought soon left her mind as the Getsu Museum came into view.

Miyuki's lips parted in awe, and she peered over her 'buddy' to get a look at the building. It wasn't the most magnificent thing Miyuki had seen, but the contents inside were what intrigued her the most. Hearing Kano's voice, Miyuki glanced over in surprise. She had been so wrapped up in the museum that she hadn't realized they were finally there, and that Kano was awake. Miyuki stood up calmly, ignoring the flourish and mock bow that Kano gave. After smoothing out her skirt, she slipped between two girls standing in the aisle and exited the bus.

Once outside, Miyuki waited beside the doors with her arms folded and watched carefully for Kano. She was only left waiting a few seconds, and smiled when Kano stepped off. Miyuki became visibly excited at the prospect of entering the museum, though she tried to keep it contained as they walked inside.
"Is there anywhere in particular you wanted to go?" Miyuki asks after a bit of silence. She looks up at the ceiling, marveling at the paintings depicting magical girls in battle with Youma.

Kano glanced up at the museum when she stepped off the bus. Miyuki was already waiting for her and the brunette exhaled softly before following the white haired girl into the building. She could tell that Miyuki was excited, and Kano would've been too if it was her first time visiting. Either way, she let her left hand rest gently on the hilt of her sword as they ascended the steps into the museum. The entrance to the museum was huge and the ceilings were intricately decorated. She glanced at Miyuki when she was asked if there was anything she wanted to see and shrugged.

"Not in particular." Kano answered as she shifted all of her weight to her left leg and glanced down at the shorter girl. "I'm assuming this is your first time here." It wasn't a question, it was easy to see that Miyuki hadn't been to the museum before just by the way she was examining the interior. "If that's the case, then I suggest exploring the museum like a book, and start at the beginning." She smirked and pointed to the left. "If you head down that way you'll begin with Magical Girl History, followed by Ancient Weaponry. My favorite."

Kano wasn't sure if Miyuki was actually interested in those sorts of things, but the history was interesting and of course the brunette appreciated unique weapons. "Let's just start there. If you see something you want to look at, let me know." Kano placed her hand on Miyuki's back between her shoulder blade and gently pushed her forward. She followed after they started to see signs for exhibits involving history, and the first Magical Girl as they entered.

Miyuki began to nod, then stopped when Kano essentially asked if it was her first time there. It was, and that was nothing to be ashamed of. Miyuki knew that, but the question caused her stomach to knot up. While she wanted to say that she had many life experiences, it would be a lie. Life before Elite hadn't been the most exciting, and Miyuki could only dream about going to Getsu museum before without the help of Elite.

Miyuki smirked and stumbled for an answer. The words were rolling off the tip of her tongue, but Kano had began to speak again, and Miyuki allowed the brunette to continue. She was both relieved, and amused to hear the brunette going on about the museum. The white haired girl pressed her lips together in a flat line when she felt a smile forming. Aside from their first meeting in the hall, this was the first time Kano wasn't being smug towards Miyuki. "Okay, Great." She was happy to have a partner that knew the museum, even if it was Kano.

Taking a step forward, Miyuki felt a familiar touch on her back. She couldn't forget the warmth from the night before, and a hint of red spread across her face as her gaze shifted to side eye her partner. Whether Kano was just being friendly, or intentionally trying to get a rise out of Miyuki was unclear. Wrong time... Miyuki thought, as she looked away from Kano, and towards the display cases.

A beautifully crafted wand made of pink and gold, with a bright crescent moon fixed on top sat in the center of the room. Miyuki seemed to naturally gravitate towards it, as her legs seemed to carry her over to the display. She moved right to the front to get a better view of it.
"Moon Princess Wand Heartstone? Said to have been used by the bun-haired rabbit in the moon. "

"That sounds like a child's book." Kano added as she glanced down at the wand. It was hard to tell if the wand was a weapon or just an accessory. Either way, the brunette stayed patient while Miyuki observed. "Though that might be because my mother told me about the "rabbit in the moon" when I was a child."

After a few moments, Kano and Miyuki continued on their way, viewing exhibits as they passed. The ones that were a bit less interesting of course. They hadn't gone far from the wand and Kano could already see the signs for the weapons exhibit. It was the next one after the one they were in. She wouldn't rush her buddy, but she didn't want to spend enough time in that one. "So you've seen my heartstone. What's yours?"

The brunette usually wasn't one for small talk, but being in a museum that centered itself around Magical Girls was warping. She knew she'd received her own at an early age, but it seemed an omen since she had yet to transform. A fact that her mother hardly ever let her forget. Seeing all of the history of other Magical Girls, some not receiving their power well into their late teens, it made Kano wonder.

As they walked, Miyuki looked slowly from side to side, taking in the artwork that surrounded them and occasionally thinking back to the moon princess's heartstone. She glanced over at Kano curiously, then perked up as Kano finished asking her question."Oh. Well, it's not as flashy as yours," Miyuki replied in a light tone, as she raised her wrist with a delicate wave. Dangling from her wrist, was a rose gold charm bracelet with matching origami shaped charms. The one that stood out the most was a red origami crane, forged from a lustrous red gem. "Light as a feather."

"Mine is light." Kano glanced down and eyed her heartstone that was encased in a cage of silver. "Well, to me at least. I suppose yours goes along with your mastery." Kano then lifted her eyes to look straight ahead as she thought. "I guess mine being heavy isn't a good omen for whatever my power could be when, or if I ever transform."

Green eyes glanced down at the white haired girl when she saw the faint, pink scars on Miyuki's neck. She'd remembered seeing them at dinner a few days back and they seemed to be healing much better. "I see your scars are healing." Kano, being the anit-hero that she was, reached her hand out and gently tucked Miyuki's hair behind her ear so she could see the scar better. "I have yet to hear the story on how you acquired those, if you're up to telling."

Miyuki had almost forgotten that Kano had never transformed. There was talk about it the first year she had come to Elite, but everyone eventually got used to it, or stopped talking about it. Now that they were actually out on the field, Miyuki wondered how Kano had managed to be an asset to her team without a transformation. She discreetly looked over to the brunette, contemplating the many questions that ran through her mind about Kano's situation.

Deciding it was best to remain silent, Miyuki began to scan the exhibit again. She froze all of a sudden, and her hand moved nervously to the scar on her neck. "Um." Miyuki started, gently tracing the faint line on her neck. "W-well, I..." She stammered, as Kano strategically maneuvered to get a better look at her scar. Pushing the brunette's hand away seemed like a good idea, but Miyuki somewhat enjoyed the act. If anything, opening up about her first mission seemed less stressful now.

Inhaling softly, Miyuki turned away and began walking towards another display. "I suppose I can tell you." She said, glancing back to see that Kano was following. "Our first mission dealt with a marionette like youma, and it manipulated strings, like a puppet master. I was unfortunate enough to get caught in one of it's traps, resulting in me nearly losing my..." Miyuki pursed her lips softly, ruby red eyes locking onto Kano's shortly. "Head. And anything else I might find useful."

Kano wasn't really expecting a story quite like that, but it was safe to assume that none of the teams had had an easy time with their youma. She hadn't really expected the story that Miyuki had told her. The brunette thought back to her own ordeal and remembered almost being crushed by the priestess's beads, of course, they weren't around her neck and she had no injury to show for it. So her fight couldn't really compare to Miyuki's.

"Well, on the bright side," Kano added softly as she glanced down at Miyuki. "You're alive, I'd say that's a success." Any fight you can walk away from is a success, in Kano's eyes, at least. She didn't have her mother's die hard outlook on battle where it was either you or the youma. If you're alive you can always fight another day, that was her outlook. "And your scars show that you survived, that's something. I have nothing to show for my battle. Other than some healing bruises. You'd think I wasn't there at all." The two girls kept walking slowly, stopping randomly for exhibits that Miyuki found interesting. Going to the museum was a bit more fun when you went with someone who had never been before.

"Do you get along with your team?" Kano wasn't sure where all these questions were coming from. They could've easily had conversation about Magical Girls, with all the history and paraphernalia around them. The brunette wasn't really sure why she needed to keep asking questions.

Miyuki's expression softened after hearing Kano's reply, and she couldn't help but smile at how positive Kano was being. "I guess that's one way to look at it." Miyuki added in, shrugging lightly. "I'd rather have not been there, sometimes. But, my team worked together really well when it came down to it." Miyuki thought deeply about Kano's question, before responding again. "I think we all get along so far, but I'm closest to Ava. Charee and Mina are nice, and if it wasn't for Mina I probably wouldn't have made it out alive."

"But enough about my team. Tell me about yours, or..." Miyuki started, and then hummed thoughtfully before continuing. "What do you like to do when you're not in class?"

It was interesting to hear that Mina had saved Miyuki. Kano wasn't aware what sort of powers Mina had, but it seemed more than helpful, or maybe the gravity of how powerful their youma was had been underplayed. Either way, having someone who could heal on your team would be nice. She didn't know if Samantha had any healing techniques, and now that Angela was gone, she'd have to learn her new teammate's abilities.

"Not in class?" Unfortunately, Kano didn't have many things other than training that she did outside of class. She could count fencing, but that again, was a form of training for herself. Though she did enjoy it much more. "I train a lot...I don't know if that should count though. I fence competitively, usually during the summer. Other than that," The brunette exhaled softly and shrugged. "I'm rather boring."

"Ah. I see," Miyuki replied, followed by a near silent chuckle as they ascended some stairs. She saw a sign leading up to the third floor, supposedly housing more important and rare magical girl artifacts. "Ooh. I know where I want to go next." Miyuki absentmindedly grabbed hold of Kano's hand, as she often liked to do, and led her in the direction of the arrow pointing them to their next destination.

Momoji and Charee | Bus to Getsu Museum

Mo was sitting down in the lush bus watching people file in. Her eyes caught on a few girls as they past but her eyes drew to the front of the bus at the squeak of a smaller voice. Perking up as she heard her name, Mo sat straight in her seat. The woman had such bright hair it was almost blinding. Standing up to lean on the seat in front of her Mo gave her signature wide grin and waved, gesturing the smaller female over.

Spotting one of the girls waving at her, Charee figured that must be Momoji, and so she skipped her way over the enthusiastic girl. Despite her dull taste in clothing, Charee thought the girl rather attractive with her heart shaped face and large hazel eyes. It didn't seem like Momoji was trying to flaunt her looks, thankfully, so Charee could appreciate the girl's appearance without considering her as competition to be the cutest girl here. Grinning back at Momoji, Charee greeted "Heya, I'm Charee! Looks like we're partners for the trip?"

Apparently the woman named Charee was as bubbly as she looked. Mo wasn't truly a fan of dresses herself. Darker colors suited her more than being outlandishly beautiful, and if she was it was wearing black. Grinning, Mo slid herself back over to the window seat. It was certainly going to be an interesting one. "Nice to meet you too. People call me Mo or Momo most of the time so you don't have to say the whole mouthful." She mentioned with a smile. "Cute dress."

Holding her skirt in neatly Charee sat down next to Momoji, taking up a surprisingly large amount of room for a small girl due to her outfit. She couldn't help but lightly blush at Momoji's compliment, taking pride in her success at looking cute. "R-really? Thank-you so much Momo, you're a sweetie!" Charee gushed, "So, are you looking forward to the trip?" Charee certainly was looking forward to seeing if she could get Momoji to flatter her some more.

Mo chuckled slightly at the girl's reaction. "Just the truth man." She said casually, tucking her hands behind her head. "I'm looking forward too it I suppose. I would enjoy it more if someone hadn't spiked the punch last night. I have a killer headache." She mumbled softly, shaking out her hair.

Nodding in agreement, Charee was reminded of the dull thumping in her own head which she had mostly ignores up to this point. "Same, and my mouth feels dry too. I wish I'd brought along some water," Charee sighed, "Still, it's nice to get out."

Mo found herself chucking at the woman's comment. It seemed she wasn't the only one who found herself a little tipsy. "Well I'm sure there will be a water fountain somewhere around the area if you need it that badly." Mo mumbled, still grinning. The ride passed quite peacefully for the two with idle chatter. Charee was much less stiff than Mo though, though she couldn't help but be oblivious to the girls' slight competitive attitude in terms of looks.

"Oh, I think we're here." Mo mumbled, standing up as the bus drew to a halt. The rest of the girls started getting up and flooding off the bus in a chaotic order. Mo looked at Charee and smiled. "Ladies first." Mo said characteristically.

"Thanks Momo~," Charee lilted, returning the smile before sliding gracefully out of her seat. After checking that her outfit was all in order, Charee made her way off the bus, waiting for Momoji to one side. Once Momoji was off too, Charee asked "Is there anything you particularly want to see?"

Mo tried not to audibly groan over how much the woman was rechecking her outfit. "You look fine." Mo mumbled rhetorically. It wouldn't matter the girl would keep doing it anyway. Trailing off the bus after her partner Mo tugged her hat backwards a bit to show off her long bangs.

The museum was as expected, filled with flourishes of elegance. It was dedicated to all things magical like everything they did. Mo vaguely wondered if there was a picture of her mother somewhere inside. She had been a royal night. "Well I would like to look at some of the weaponry. I find myself in tune with the fighting aspect, though I suppose you might want to see some of the previous magical girls that came before us." Mo said casually.

"I-I'd like to see the weaponry too!" Charee asserted, looking up at Momoji with determination, "It might help us learn more about fighting, right?" Without waiting for a reply, Charee grabbed Mo's hand and pulled her in the direction of the weapon's section. Charee was intent to learn how to be a more reliable fighter on this trip, not just to try to get Momoji to dote on her; Charee's aim was to be adored for both her charm and strength, however tough that may be. Maybe if she worked hard enough at both Charee could even one day be the first of her family in a museum like this.

Mo raised a keen eyebrow before shaking her head. "Well I suppose we can if you really are that keen on seeing it. I didn't take you for much of a fighter." Mo mumbled as they wandered towards ancient weaponry. Mo liked learning about fighting, it was all she ever did. Most of what she used was hand to hand but weapons were a close second love.

"I love weaponry. In fact it's probably the best part of being a magical girl. Honestly I'm not one for big fancy dresses or bright colors. I like dark tones if you haven't noticed. But it works good on me and my skin tone. Besides, some women like it." Mo said teasingly as she wandered aimlessly into the exhibit.

"I'm not really much of a fighter, b-but I don't want to let my team down so I have to learn." Eyes widening in awe, Charee wondered if she really could understand the complexities of weaponry better as she looked around with Mo.

"All the more fancy dresses for me the~n. It definitely works for you, although I bet I could design you an outfit which shows off even more of your toned body," Charee teased, "A-ah, we were meant to be looking at weapons though! Um, maybe you can help me understand this?" Charee pointed to a nearby spear on display, intrigued by its screw-like form.

Mo chuckled. "Well you can always ask for help if you need it. I'd be happy to help if you need it." She mumbled, shaking her hair out yet again as they started to walk through the exhibits.

As Charee approached the display of a corkscrew spear. "Well it seems that the design is very intricate, probably used a lot with rotating movements. It seems to have a lot of swooping lines and water theming. Based on that I would say it probably let them manipulate water of some sort." Mo mumbled, tapping her chin.

Examining the features of the spear Momoji was referring to, Charee slowly began to understand. "Ooh, I see! Or perhaps it should be I 'sea'," Charee giggled. Mind wandering, Charee tapped her chin with one of her fingers. "Mo, what kind of power do you have?"

Mo chuckled, rolling her eyes a bit. Mo couldn't help but reach down to ruffle Charee's hair, trying to avoid messing it up too bad. "You're such a little jokester sometimes." Mo mumbled, still grinning widely.

"I have electricity powers. I wasn't in the first fight that happened but I'll be in everyone from now on." Mo mumbled. She briefly touched a hand to her choker. "That's why I wear the choker. It's my heartstone." Mo mumbled softly. "what about you?"

Charee's body momentarily tensed when Mo fussed her hair, fearing all the work she'd put into her hairdo would be undone. Seeing Mo's grin eased Charee's taut position though, her worry quickly washed away by a wave of gratification, rising up as a rosy colour in her cheeks. Mo's smile was mirrored on Charee's face, the small girl proud to have earned an affectionate hair ruffle; Charee still found herself checking her hair in the glass reflection of the exhibits, but this didn't lessen the lingering warm feeling inside.

"I'm sure you'll do a fab job too, seeing how you know so much about fighting!" Charee enthused, eyes glittering as she admired Momoji's heartstone, "Ah, so that's not just a snazzy accessory." Apprehensive about sharing her own power Charee distracted herself with some nearby exhibits, considering what to say. "I have poison powers, l-like eroding and paralysing things. Plus I have a gorgeous heartstone! Look!" Fishing the ornate orb out of her bag, Charee presented her heartstone to Momoji with a beaming face.

Mo was pleasantly surprised the girl didn't freak out over the small hair ruffle. She would have to do it again sometime. After all, it's not like all the girls had an affection for looks and adorable determination. Mo was a little envious of how innocent she looked. It was something the taller female knew she would never master.

"The orb is really nice. And your powers seem very useful. Mine just end up making a lot of noise." Mo said with a shrug, still smiling as she wandered aimlessly through the gallery. "My favorite thing is to hear the crackle of lightning as it hits the ground, it's really fun when you have a whip made out of it." She mumbled.

"Y-you think?" Charee's worries about the history of her powers eased a little. "That does sound exciting, maybe you could show me sometime? Oh, but you might not want to show me your transformation..." Exhaling with a soft sigh, Charee examined a nearby scythe on display.

Mo chuckled and shook her head. "No it's fine. I'll show you someday. I like showing it off a little more than I probably should but eh." Mo mumbled, looking around her at a display of broadswords. "I mean every power has their usefulness. Besides no one should be treated differently just because of what they were given. Besides poison does sound super useful. It may not have immediate actions as far as damage dealt but damage over time could prove fatal." Mo mused softly. "Well I'd have to see your move set to completely asses that but that's just my own thoughts."

"If you have something worth showing off there's no shame in wanting to share that with the world! You should be proud of your power," Charee encouraged, her tiny body seeming to bubble with energy as she bobbed up and down with enthusiasm, "I guess so, I-I can at least support other people with the continual effects, plus I ironically have some healing capacity. If you're going to show me your transformation it's only fair I show you mine too, then you can properly judge for yourself- although I should warn you my transformation's rather, uh, different."

The pair had meandered to the end of the weapons gallery while they were chatting, and Charee regretted that they'd passed through the gallery so quickly, wishing that she'd spent more time asking about the different weapons on display. There was no point lingering there now they'd looked at all the weapons though, so tugging on Momoji's sleeve Charee led Mo up the nearby staircase. "Come on, let's go explore what's up here!"

Bus > Getsu Museum
@Justin The Mad King

Jun waited patiently until the bus came to a full stop before gathering herself. The blonde stood up from her seat and rested an elbow on the head of the chair and watched as Ava-Rose readied herself off the bus. She lifted an eyebrow as the pink-haired girl continue to ramble on, the ends of her mouth curling upward upon glance at Ava's irritated expression. Sometimes, this girl was just too fun to read.

The moment Jun stepped out of the bus her eyes locked onto the elaborate building before her. It might not be much to most, especially to those who's already visited the museum, but the building seemed to glow before Jun. She can already feel the adrenaline begin to rush. This right here was part of her main goal since attending Elite Academy. Any little hint or information Jun could find on her roots, she will easily hunt after. She just couldn't believe she never thought about visiting the museum before.

"Looks pretty big." Jun commented, not taking her eyes of the building as she addressed to Ava-Rose "Have you ever been here before?"

Whether Ava-Rose answered or not, Jun was too fixated on the wonders that hold beyond the museum walls to even notice the pink-haired girl at this point. The blonde quickly started inside the museum, the speed of her pace increasing the closer she got to the building. Stepping foot onto the marble floor, Jun stared up at the high ceilings, admiring the artwork and hints of magical embellishments that decorated the inside. Her pink hues soon landing on a giant map that categorized the museum and the blonde soon maneuvered her way over with a wide smile spread across her face. She took a moment to exam the content, noting the most interesting areas in her head before grabbing a small pamphlet.

"Alright, let's get started!" Jun announced enthusiastically and opened the pamphlet for a guide "First we'll check out the history section which leads up to notable figures." She nodded and started towards the direction of the first exhibit "After we can check out some artifacts, or anything else you'd like to see Ava-Rose."

Kokuyo Kano - Museum
@Sailor Moon
Kano was only a bit surprised when Miyuki had grabbed her hand. She complied and followed the white haired girl to their next destination, nearing the center of the museum. They finally stopped at the weapons displays and Kano glanced around to see a few new exhibits had been added since she was a child. Kano, of course, was drawn to the swords. Growing up, that had been the only thing the brunette had ever been really interested in. She had fenced since she was very young and ever since then, swords were the only weapon she ever really researched and used.

"They've added a lot." Kano muttered as she looked around the room. There was a plethora of display cases and mannequins that were holding spears and bows, as well as the more non conventional weapons. She saw a gold chain with a large talisman hanging from it and for a brief moment, Kano thought back to the priestess youma. The brunette inhaled deeply, thinking back to that battle and how easily it would've been for her to be killed, even by a weaker youma. She needed to do better, to be stronger. Her brow furrowed, suddenly thinking of her mother before she noticed she had been squeezing Miyuki's hand.

"Sorry." The brunette cleared her throat as she released the girl's hand, Kano glanced around, moving towards the display of swords that was against the wall. "Are you trained in any weapons?"

The museum was busier than they had expected. Azumi was standing in the entrance, her hands in her pockets as she watched the people entering and exiting the building. She wasn't very keen on this plan, but they were desperate now. A heavy sigh left her lungs as she slowly made her way around the museum. Scoping the place out, there were a few guards strategically placed in each exhibit, and the exits. And of course near the more...priceless artifacts and weapons. They had specifically picked this day because it wasn't supposed to be very crowded, but some school was there taking a field trip, go figure.

"This isn't going to go well." Azumi sighed to herself as she shook her head. "Where are my sisters, anyway? Maybe we should postpone..."

Samantha - At Museum - With Mina
@R-9 Pilot

While wandering around the exhibits, Samantha's attention was arrested by a painting on the wall. She had been taking in all the sights she could (and making as many mental notes as she could, having forgone actually using the books she was still lugging around), but this one in particular caused her to drift to a stop. Brow tightening, Samantha slowly altered her course, eventually standing directly in front of the imposing painting, which seemed to almost loom over the girl.

It was…vivid. Magical Girls of every appearance and style clashed throughout the painting, the colours of their powers and auras bleeding and seeping together to form a turbulent haze that the depicted fighters seemed to almost be struggling to escape. What Samantha could only guess to be Youma were also interspersed throughout the melee, slinking between the battling Magical Girls to strike at the few who had lowered their guard. It was chaotic: not a single inch of the canvas was free of some kind of struggle or battle, and the entire image seemed to be filled with some kind of deranged energy. Despite not actually being explicit in any way (the painting didn't have a single drop of blood in it, though some of the Magical Girls seemed to be 'bleeding' their energy), just looking at the picture filled Samantha with a strange kind of dread.

Filled with a morbid curiosity, Samantha glanced down at the placard that was placed on the wall right next to the painting.

A painting by Emi Shimizu, (alias, 'Silver-Bow Striker'). Due to the difficulty of finding bodies mid-battle, it was not unheard of for the Youma of fallen 'Magical Soldiers' to manifest as the battles were raging. This would cause conflicts to degrade into three-way melees, which would inevitably claim more lives, and produce more Youma.

After the war she was involved in ended, Emi Shimizu retreated from public life, and made a great many pieces of art based on her experience in battle. While greatly praised for her striking art and many accomplishments, she has yet to emerge from her isolated home, and likewise has refused to commit to any field relating to her powers again.

Samantha, slowly, slowly, dragged her eyes back up to the painting. After a few more seconds of gazing silently at it, it finally clicked in Samantha's head that she had just wandered off from Mina without a word. Twisting around, Samantha spied the other girl, and quickly stumbled back over to her.

"Sorry about that, something just caught my eye." Samantha coughed out, before allowing a slight smile to come to her. "I suppose it wouldn't do to leave my 'bubby' behind, eh?"

For all of her efforts at light heartedness, however, Samantha's expression soon fell back into a more sombre hue. She hadn't been ignorant of the old wars: history was one of the few subjects she actually did decently in, and so that panting hadn't shown her anything she was unaware of. However, there was quite a difference between reading about something in a text book and…well, being shown how it must have looked to the people who had actually been on the ground.

Maybe, while the facts of the matter had sunk in easily enough, Samantha had never actually thought about it with actual empathy. Had never actually thought about how terrifying the whole thing must have been, or the implications of fighting against others with magical power…

"…Hey, Mina?" Samantha turned to the other girl. "You don't think we will ever have to…you know, fight other Magical Girls, right? I mean-" Samantha floundered for a second, not noticing when she started to wring her hands. "…It's one thing use our powers to stop Youma, or when the Military Police go up against criminals, but…against each other?"

There was something about the idea of it that unsettled Samantha. Dealing with Youma was difficult, in no small part to a Youma's strengths and often disarming intelligence, but how would one even mentally prepare for fighting against a Magical Girl? The implications alone gave Samantha a uncomfortable shiver-

-A uncomfortable shiver she had failed to repress, Samantha realized all at once. Clearing her throat, Samantha forcibly moved her fidgeting hands to her sides, and tried to straighten out her back. It would do to for her, as a member of the Garland family, to show such naked fear.

"I-I mean, not that it really matters, one way or another."

Mina Strand - At Museum, with Samantha

Mina wandered around the exhibit, studying whatever struck her fancy. From what she could tell, most magical girls tried their best to stay away from war, though there were certainly notable battles involving them. Even if most tended to focus on other things, nobody could divorce themselves so thoroughly from their country. Patriotism, recruitment, and other reasons would see magical girls on the battlefield, usually in small groups. One or two could, an had, turned the dies of battle several times in the past.

She hadn't noticed Samantha's disappearance, and continued to wander around. When Samantha returned, she was busily reading up on some of the propaganda on both sides of the last Great War. "Huh? Ah, don't worry too much about getting separated. It's not like we need to hold hands or anything. Just don't get out of sight or anything."

Mina stopped to think for a while. "Hm, maybe. I mean, we kinda did a bit during training and stuff. But you mean like, seriously? I dunno. It's not like everyone just agrees with each other, so it's certainly possible. Can't be any worse than fighting Youma, can it?"

She moved forward, toward the next exhibit. "Let's go find something with less heavy stuff."
