This is a typical picture of South Asian Sweets. YOU SHOULD TRY THEM

Its customary to eat sweets on Eid. && to share them with neighbors + family.

&&the goat/lamb/sheep that you sacrificed ~ some of the meat is shared too! We got tons of meat from the neighbors today xD DADDY WANTS ME TO COOK IT

I was like >_< I only cook chicken, sorry. xD

MORE MITHAI :D

In socialist Norway, Eid means "owned".

Whats that stuff in the middle?

Its sweets made out of flour and stuff :33

But the shiny stuff is that edible sweet dish thingum that looks liek foil :O

Everyone says its not really foil and its pretty common in sweet dishes, but I secretly believe its foil & they're all just FOOLS.

There isn't enough sacrifice here.

*Offers Porg's soul to Quetzalcoatl*

wait...Muslim you said?

Yeah, for a holiday of SACRIFICE, this thing is pretty indulgent - stuffing your face with sweets and getting new clothes.

Asmo condemns this festivity. >:[

Says the guy with Baphomet as his avatar.

Darkness, you motherfucker! Stop trolling and post in my goddam roleplay or I will make it my personal crusade to get elected into government and sanction the nuclear bombardment of Venezuela!

Eid-ul-Adha Mubarak is poo-face.

But who's gonna join your funky roleplays where you use the archetypes when I'm dead?

~Its Sacrifice because we're celebrating Islamic history~

According to it, Prophet Ibrahim was to sacrifice his son, but was instead he was given a sheep/lamb in place of it.

~So now, after Hajj ends, its a ritual to sacrifice a lamb/sheep && then celebrate :DD

AND EAT AND CLOTHES =D

funny how such a celebration originated from a Jewish story.

Still, I hope you had fun Sakura ^_^

Eid Mubarak, Sakura!!

O_O You ACTUALLY sacrifice things?
I just think it would be odd walking out into the backyard, looking over and seeing my neighbor sacrificing something. (Of course, my vision of sacrifice in a mixture between Indiana Jones and Mayan.)

I'm not saying it's bad...just...different. ^_^
