hello there! i'm eel, and welcome to my roleplay calling!
before i dive into the character and plot bits, i figured i'd tell you a bit about myself and my roleplay style. bare with me as i'm still figuring out this whole introduction thing. and! please don't take this introduction as an example of my writing. i promise i know how to use proper capitalization, grammar, and punctuation. fight me on the oxford comma if you want though, i don't care lol. anyways...
i'm a 21 y/o nonbinary who uses they/them pronouns and works a full time job. despite this, i have a good bit of free time and a lot of motivation right now. i have a crippling obsession with wattson from apex legends though i hate the game. not to mention my current hyper fixation on a very precious character of mine. i'm not interested in fandom roleplay with the exception of apex legends, but i would absolutely love to do something with my (and your) OCs. i'm also an artist (check out my twitter @eelsprite!), and if i'm fond enough of our future roleplay, it's very likely i'll draw our characters.
now i'll be up front when it comes to my writing and response time. i go through bursts of motivation where sometimes i'm responding within half an hour, sometimes once or twice a week, or sometimes once or twice a month. this also depends on the style of roleplay and response length though. my responses typically range from 3 to 10 paragraphs depending on the scene, however i still do my best to match my partner's length. i understand that we have personal lives that come before roleplay, and i hope you can understand that, too. that's why i'm not expecting immediate responses to a roleplay. i might give a nudge if it's been a few weeks, but that's mostly me making sure you haven't died. i don't mind receiving a nudge either if it's been a bit since i've responded.
i can send writing samples upon request.
secondly, i'm looking for someone 18+ as i am an adult who fancies myself a bit of romance and don't feel comfortable roleplaying with minors. this doesn't mean i only write romance; i just don't feel comfortable roleplaying with minors in general and there's an example of why. i don't have any set plot ideas because i think creating that with your partner is a lot of fun. roleplay really just is a collaborative story after all. i'm open to creating new characters, however i personally would like to use characters i already have if i can. i'll drop a couple names and brief descriptions down below.
lastly, i prefer to roleplay on discord in a private server (you can add me @ eelheadbay, just let me know in the comments so i don't get jump scared by a random friend request). i have a premade server template for oorp chat, art channels, roleplay and plotting channels. this helps me keep things organized as i don't really like mixing oorp talk and roleplay into one message or thread. i am willing to try roleplaying on iwaku, but i would prefer that to be done in private messages. if all of the mentioned above sounds good for you, then let me know! i would love to write a story with you! <3

vasha (before) || bi || a 26 year old tabaxi with a gambling addiction and a man-child attachment to his mom
vasha (after) || bi || a 27 year old tabaxi prince struggling to rebuild a nation with less of a man-child attachment to his mom
jacques wolfe (pirate) || bi || an emotionally constipated elf/syren captain of the infamous ship, the mindscape, with too big of an ego
jacques wolfe (ceo) || bi || a less emotionally constipated and really horny elf/syren who somehow ended up the ceo for the number one magic company a few centuries after retiring from piracy with an even bigger ego than before
jocelyn cossette || bi || jacques' ex-lover from when they were pirates who opened a popular night club known as the dreamscape. she doesn't put up with any body's bullshit
evangeline aeramirta || straight || an elven princess who is waiting for her son to come home after her human husband passed of old age. she made a home for herself outside a small village that she helps protect.
adriel ochoa || gay || a socially awkward half-demon satyr who has plenty of religious trauma and doesn't know he's part demon. he's bound to work for one of the rulers of hell as a sort of... hitman
