What’s the diameter of Echelon in kilometers and miles?
Echelon is 23,753 miles, or 38,226 kilometers, in diameter. This is approximately three times wider than Earth.

What’s the circumference of Echelon in miles and kilometers?
Echelon is 74,584 miles, or 120,031 kilometers, in circumference.

What is the general population of Echelon?
Around ten billion people live in a world of diverse races on Echelon.

What are the main races of Echelon?
Srai, pronounced S-rye, are similar equivalent of elves. They are 25% of the population worldwide. There are subraces. Srai are considered a humanoid species.

Chetorin, pronounced Che-torh-een, is similar equivalent to a nomadic version of humans. They are 12% of the population worldwide. Chetorin are considered homosapiens.

Usæd, pronounced Oo-saa-d, is similar equivalent to orcs. They are 35% of the population worldwide. There are subraces. Usæd are considered non-humanoid.

æblan, pronounced Ah-blah-n, is similar equivalent to half-breeds. They are 5% of the population worldwide. æblan can be humanoid or non-humanoid.

Kør, pronounced K-eu-r, is similar equivalent to dragons. They are 17% of the population worldwide. Kør are considered sentient beings.

What do these races derive from?
The main four races come from four different kinds of species— homo sapien, humanoid, non-humanoid, and sentient.

How much percentage of land and water is Echelon made up of?
Echelon is made up of 62% water and 38% land.

How many continents are on Echelon?
Echelon has five continents in all. One is newly found, the rest have supposedly been on the world for centuries, perhaps even since the beginning of time.

What are the names of the five continents on Echelon? Give a brief description of each continent.
[New] Gællad, pronounced Gahl-ahd, a newly explored land, about three-fourths the size of Russia. The Usæd made the first settlement here, though the Kør seem to think otherwise. The only continent that seems to have a full cycle of changing seasons and do a damn good job of it; winter to spring, spring to summer, summer to fall, and finally, fall to winter, repeated.

Køntania, pronounced Keun-taniyah, is an ancient continent the approximate size of Northern Europe and Middle East combined. Srai dominate this land. Chetorin are the second largest in population here, Usæd in third, and Kør are last along with æblan. Dry and warm describes this continent almost all year round. Køntania‘s peak seasons are usually summer and spring. The colors of fall are nonexistent and snow does not fall during winter months.

Endrai, pronounced Ehnd-rye, is the largest continent in Echelon. The landmass is about the size of Africa. Usæd and Kør dominate this land. Chetorin, Srai, and æblan are few in number here. The climate changes are fierce, ranging from long, hot summers, to cold, severe winters. Endrai rarely, if not ever, has full seasonal changed.

[No]Luendem, pronounced [No]-Loo-ehn-dehm, is only a fraction of what it used to be, and can now only be considered half the size of England. It rains frequently and the temperature is often cool, around high 60s to mid 70s. The majority of species are the Srai and although uncommon, æblan pop up from time to time. Usæd and Chetorin are minority.

Cyndor, pronounced Sin-door, is a small realm only half the size of United States. It’s dry in air and heat, mostly home to Chetorin and æblan. Srai and Usæd are rare, much preferring tropical humid and/or wet atmospheres to desert-like conditions.

Brief Overview of Main Races

Srai
Srai are a noble sort. Their lineage traces back almost ten thousand years when the world was at its peak. Rumor has it the Srai manifest from twilight, the grey space between light and dark, therefore resulting in a body that’s more equal on a spiritual plane, rather than physical. People believe it explains their ethereal beauty and fragility of a mortal. Srai origins are unknown, though research has found hidden artifacts beneath the dust written in Sraian, pointing archaeologists and historians towards the possibility of a long lost civilization. There is only one clan of Srai thus far— Sumrak— but the longheld traditions of being unified as one clan are beginning to wither.

Chetorin
Nomadic, yet far from isolated, Chetorinans are a humble people who have lived in the wilderness for hundreds of years. They never stay in one place, are adept in survival, and travel as one- never alone. Dark, warm, and neutral skin tones are the majority of Chetorin people, but light skin tones are not unseen. Chetorinans craft their own weapons, clothing, and equipment. They tend to be wary of abstruse advancement in society and dislike when the wilds are “disturbed”. Many tribes— big and small— have been formed, though there are six main clans. These tribes are as follows: Jashad, Kielan, Døndræk, Tyfre, Gohakva, and Folandr. All are surnames of their current leaders.

Usæd
These non-humanoid creatures have a long, dirty history with the Kør after they enslaved dragons for years. There is still much distaste between the two, after the Haven War ended, but only time will tell whether or not the Kør and Usæd will truly seek peace with each other and move on. The Srai, however, seem to favor the Usæd for their strong work ethic, but the Usæd are not easily tamed. They are extremely independent and fierce individuals; only a great fool would be caught alone. They are a huge civilization of many men, women, and children, each divided into their own family clans, yet unified as one.

æblan
Though extremely small in number, æblan are a natural part of order in society. They are treated equally, just like any other race. æblan stem from two different races, be it Usæd and Srai or Chetorin and Srai. Kør are the only ones who cannot breed æblan, as they lay eggs instead of giving birth. The best part about them is their ability to adapt to changes around them. They’ve built up a strong relationship with the Kør, much to the point where there seems to be some deep— possibly telekinetic— bond between the Kør and æblan. No one knows where this strange bond came from and many are still trying to understand the correalation.

Kør
The Kør are a humble and strong breed, able to telepathically communicate and speak hundreds of languages, due to being around for thousands of years. They prefer the ancient tongue, but will accomodate depending on the situation and where they are currently at. They use their abilities for good, but are not above ruthless means in order to bring justice to those who they feel have wronged them. The Kør appear as an unfriendly bunch, however, companionships and allies have been made with the Chetorin, and especially the æblan, who remain neutral in the heat of politics and war, yet empathize with the Kørs’ hardships.
