What is the general population of Echelon?
Around ten billion people live in a world of diverse races on Echelon.
What are the main races of Echelon?
Srai, pronounced S-rye, are similar equivalent of elves. They are 25% of the population worldwide. There are subraces. Srai are considered a humanoid species.
Chetorin, pronounced Che-torh-een, is similar equivalent to a nomadic version of humans. They are 12% of the population worldwide. Chetorin are considered homosapiens.
Usæd, pronounced Oo-saa-d, is similar equivalent to orcs. They are 35% of the population worldwide. There are subraces. Usæd are considered non-humanoid.
æblan, pronounced Ah-blah-n, is similar equivalent to half-breeds. They are 5% of the population worldwide. æblan can be humanoid or non-humanoid.
Kør, pronounced K-eu-r, is similar equivalent to dragons. They are 17% of the population worldwide. Kør are considered sentient beings.
What do these races derive from?
The main four races come from four different kinds of species— homo sapien, humanoid, non-humanoid, and sentient.
How much percentage of land and water is Echelon made up of?
Echelon is made up of 62% water and 38% land.
How many continents are on Echelon?
Echelon has five continents in all. One is newly found, the rest have supposedly been on the world for centuries, perhaps even since the beginning of time.
What are the names of the five continents on Echelon? Give a brief description of each continent.
[New] Gællad, pronounced Gahl-ahd, a newly explored land, about three-fourths the size of Russia. The Usæd made the first settlement here, though the Kør seem to think otherwise. The only continent that seems to have a full cycle of changing seasons and do a damn good job of it; winter to spring, spring to summer, summer to fall, and finally, fall to winter, repeated.
Køntania, pronounced Keun-taniyah, is an ancient continent the approximate size of Northern Europe and Middle East combined. Srai dominate this land. Chetorin are the second largest in population here, Usæd in third, and Kør are last along with æblan. Dry and warm describes this continent almost all year round. Køntania‘s peak seasons are usually summer and spring. The colors of fall are nonexistent and snow does not fall during winter months.
Endrai, pronounced Ehnd-rye, is the largest continent in Echelon. The landmass is about the size of Africa. Usæd and Kør dominate this land. Chetorin, Srai, and æblan are few in number here. The climate changes are fierce, ranging from long, hot summers, to cold, severe winters. Endrai rarely, if not ever, has full seasonal changed.
[No]Luendem, pronounced [No]-Loo-ehn-dehm, is only a fraction of what it used to be, and can now only be considered half the size of England. It rains frequently and the temperature is often cool, around high 60s to mid 70s. The majority of species are the Srai and although uncommon, æblan pop up from time to time. Usæd and Chetorin are minority.
Cyndor, pronounced Sin-door, is a small realm only half the size of United States. It’s dry in air and heat, mostly home to Chetorin and æblan. Srai and Usæd are rare, much preferring tropical humid and/or wet atmospheres to desert-like conditions.
