Bio: Basil was born to a single mother who had moved to Dragues to get away from an abusive relationship. While he was growing up his mother worked long hours as a seamstress. Since they didn't have lots of time together Basil would often help his mother by fetching fabric or by modeling the clothes. This is when he first started being allowed to wear dresses since his body type matched better with young girls his mother would let him wear the clothes while she mended them. As he got older he started learning how to sew and make clothes himself. Starting out with simple scarfs or hats and subsequently moving to harder things like suits and elaborate dresses. His mother had begun to mentor him until she grew sick in his 16th year. After months of suffering, she passed away, leaving Basil by himself. To cope he threw himself into his work, going days without sleeping until his pieces were finished. After graduation, he took a position at the local Tailors to continue learning and creating.
Growing up he mostly kept to himself, not wanting to draw attention to himself. However, it seemed like no matter what he did people still would find something to tease him about. When he started to understand his sexuality and gender identity was when he decided "If people want to point and make fun, I'll give them something to look at." So from then on, he dressed as flamboyant as he wanted. Pretending that he doesn't care, even though its secretly his way of making people stay away from him.
