"My daughter what is worry. Is it the boy I kick out?" The king asked as he eat.

Sam wondered around the palace as he looked around. He saw a lot of guards every were.

Lola glanced up at him. "Maybe." She said quietly, then continued to eat in silence.

"He is a nobody. I will find you better friends then him." The king said as he slammed his fist on the table. "He is here to protect you and that is that. You are no longer able to see him with out my consent." He started to eat again.

Lola started to speak, then stopped. She looked to her mother. "M-may I be excused?" She asked quietly, her voice cracking a little.

The queen looked at her daughter. "Yes you may." She said in a light tone.

The king looked at them. "You can go to you room. Guards escort my daughter to her room." He said in a angry tone.

Two guards walk to Lola. "My lady."

Lola stood, turning her back to the guards, she bowed to her parents, then quickly left. She knew the guards would follow, so she kept her head down. Silently, she walked to her room, trying to keep from crying. Father was so unfair! She finally finds a friend, someone she liked to be around, and he had to pull him away because he disliked him. She sniffled softly.

The guards followed Lola to her room. As they got there they bow and then stood at her door.

Sam kept walking around the palace. "Now what did I do?" He asked himself.

Lola closed her door and locked it. She jumped on her bed and sighed, staring at the ceiling. She wiped the tears from her eyes. "It's so unfair..."

Sam looked at a tree and jump on it. He shut his eyes and sighed. "Why did they choose me for this mission?" He said his self as he lied on the tree.

After she had been laying on her bed for roughly twenty minutes, she went to her window. It overlooked the garden. Opening it, she pulled a chair over, then sat down, leaning back and watching the sky.

Sam looked over at the window that just open. He saw that princess setting there watching the stars. He smiled as looked around to see if any guards were watching. He jump to the princess window. "So, did you eat good?"

Lola jumped slightly, then relaxed a little. "I'm not really supposed to talk to you..." She said quietly, "but kinda. I left early." She said with a shrug.

"Why did you leave early. Do not say it was me?" He smiled and looked up and the stars. "I am fine. And who said that?" He said as he smiled.

"Yeah." Lola said softly. "It's not fair that father made you leave... You had every right to be there. How are you supposed to protect me if you don't know where I am?" She sighed. "Said what..?" She asked, realizing he had asked a question.

Sam looked at Lola. "Well, I am here to protect you and that is it. If I can to be your friend, I would not have gone to the king first." He said as he scratched his head. "So, do not be angry at him."

Lola sighed. "That wasn't my point." She said softly, looking back up at the stars. She yawned softly.

"Oh. What point did you want to make?" Sam asked as he lead down.

"Father was unfair." She said simply. "I'm not supposed to speak to you, but if I don't know where you are, how are you supposed to keep me safe?"

"Oh. That. Well, I can sense you and with that I know where you are at all times." Sam said as he smiled. "Well he never said that I can not talk to you and it would be rude not to answer right?"

Lola looked at him now. "No... He didn't say that..." She said, a small smile forming. "You're tricky." She said softly, giggling a little.
