I've been tossing around an idea for a large scale dragonball themed rp. This roleplay would run on mechanics that would be put in place to prevent OP characters (to an extent) and to allow for a nice blend of game mechanics with freestyle writing. I'll give a few examples of the mechanics I have in mind; Stat system based on numerical values. Learn various techniques from the DB universe. Each technique will have it's own requirements. A perk system designed to add flavor to the battles and outside of them, while also including an extra in-game mechanic. Health and Ki system to determine how much a character can do. This prevents a player from spamming techniques or simply claiming he was hardly phased by an attack thst should affect him otherwise. A power level mechanic for extra flavor. Bear in mind that much like in the DB universe, power levels really won't amount to a whole lot, since stronger characters don't always win. There may be more if interest is shown. By the way, this would be almost entirely AU.
