Baga wondered how long it had been since his departure from Planet Vegeta, though it was a foolish question. Rugu, his brother that was with him, would likely agree. They had touched down on too many planets for it to matter anymore. They treated planets like pit stops, taking what they needed before moving further away from their home planet. Imagine the ridicule, Baga thought, if other saiyans knew we travelled the galaxy not as conquerors, but as scavengers.

Not that it was difficult to imagine. The same old story played out in his mind. Rugu had failed to dispatch a Saibaman, and by extension, so would he, being the weaker of the two. It had been their last chance in a string of failures to pass their combat evaluations. They were assigned to another planet to work as laborers, so instead the two brothers chose exile by stealing two pods, choosing for forge a life among the stars. Nobody pursued them. Baga was never going to see his childhood friend Okra again. She would remember him only as a weakling.

Baga tapped on the console to slightly correct the approach of his pod, to the unknown planet with a beige and blue swirl pattern, in a low orbit to track life forms and power levels.

A loud proximity alarm blared as a laser shot from the planet and glanced Baga's pod, causing it to tumble and careen towards the planet's ozone layer. Baga's mind gripped with panic as lasers continued to fire at him, piercing holes in his pod and ozone air hissed through them. The metal door was ripped from the frame and Rugu yanked him out, and moments later, Baga's pod crashed in an open desert.

Rugu touched down on the ground with Baga handing over his shoulder. Several soldiers slowly advanced towards them in a horizontal file, covered head to toe in what appeared to be desert survival gear, carrying energy based laser rifles and sabers at their belts.

1616884133684.pngThings were such a mess wouldn't couldn't even begin to understand what happened. Large energy cannons shot at high speed, his scouter read a power level of.. 1,500?! That was insane! Higher then a collective group of saiyan scouts! One a certain shot hit Baga's capsule he could only act on instinct, tearing open the hull of his pod and yanking Baga out, holding him by the shirt. Landing down was an easier feat, Baga couldn't fly as well so carrying him was the best option. "Don't hold.. your breath just yet" He looked out into the desert as multiple armed lifeforms came to attack.

"Baga check the scou-!" Before he could finish the sentence Baga scouter was cleanly shot off by a sniper just over a sand dune, dammit! They were already getting rushed! The rifles the enemy was using caught Rugu of guard as one just barely missed his tail. "Enough stupid damn lifeforms!!" Rugu started firing off ki blast after ki blast, hitting some and creating a sand cloud in the middle of the area.

The enemy continued to sustain their fire through the sand cloud. Baga started to dig into the sand behind a nearby dune to hide from the enemy while his older brother did the Saiyan thing by continuing to fire energy blasts at the soldiers. Except Rugu was good at deflecting energy bolts. The sand dunes were now swirling in mini sand tornados as Rugu charged up his energy and moved in a random dodging pattern. The soldiers dodged around most of the surprise energy bursts that were coming out of the sandstorm, but some had tagged them.

That is when the soldiers holstered their guns and drew their blades. They cut the air with their sabers, channeling their auras to move the air with their coordinated slices to diminish the sandstorm. The soldiers charged Rugu with singular focus. When they were close, Baga burst from the sand like a scorpion. His punch connected with soldier's stomach and sent him flying back, and there was a sound like shotgun. His fist was surrounded by his own ki, spilling from him at that point like a great wound until the other soldiers were on him and Rugu.

The Saiyans weaved between their blades, but these were not usual warriors. They were coordinated, offering no obvious opening or slipping up.

They nearly had him pinned, and there wasn't a moon anywhere in sight! Oozaru wasn't an option, so he did the next best thing he could. "Omega.." He gathered greater amounts of ki into his right arm, using his left to brace himself. Rugu couldn't defeat a saibamen. That was the fact, and baga was even less then that, but if Rugu had anything, it was this attack. He shot a look at Baga, letting him know. This attack could definitely kill a saibamen, but of course high reward always left high risk. "Break!!"

An sunrise colored blast of pure energy shot from his palm and caused soldiers to go flying, he wasn't sure if he killed anyone, but no one was left unscathed. When dust settled Rugu was standing in a small crater trying to regain his breath, no one seemed to be attacking so he could only assume his attack had worked. "There.. ya damn.. jerks.." The whiplash set in as Rugu collapsed in exhaustion.

When the dust settled, Baga ran towards his brother, and struggled to hoist him up while ki continued to spill from his hand from his desperate punch. He started to trudge in the opposite direction from where the soldiers came. He needed to find shelter. There was a silver lining to being weak and temporarily without ki. It would make his detection nearly imperceptible by technology like the scouter.

Baga trudged for what seemed like hours as the sun beamed down on them. Eventually he came across a rocky plateau and hid within the shadows the pillars of rock cast, taking a short break. They needed water.
