With an earth-shaking crash, the battle was finally decided. Though it had been a long one, the alien threat to the earth, Raditz, brother of Goku, had been defeated. The success had been costly, however, and robbed the planet of two of it's strongest fighters. Piccolo had used up the last of his energy in a desperate attack against the Saiyan menace, and now, with Piccolo gone, so too, has kami perished, leaving the world bereft of it's dragon balls, and thus no way of bringing back Goku or Piccolo. With two even stronger Saiyan warriors set to arrive in one year's time, the chances of survival for earth's inhabitants look bleak. However, this is not a story solely about the earth, or the fighters who have defended it. This is a story about super survivors, now awakened. Earth, or even the universe's strongest warriors, created for purposes unknown. Will they save this world in need of new heroes now, more than ever? Or will they bring it closer to it's destruction?

Lights flicker deep within a lab now uncovered from a devastating attack. Primary power sources within the lab were left severely damaged, and the lights fully fade in the abandoned laboratory as secondary power sources kick on, the sound of the power system warming up echoes throughout empty, dusty halls, and as if to answer to that sound, the sounds of hissing echo back, along with the mechanical sounds of pod doors sliding open. Rushing liquid flows out of the pods into drains on the floor, as the first subjects begin to stirr. One lone figure, awakened by the lab's power failure who had not been resting in a pod, walks through the flowing liquids, bare feet splashing against the cold tile floor as she analyzes the status of those who are finally awakening from an indeterminately long slumber.

"Life-support systems... off-line... Analyzing subject statuses...", a calm, yet cold female voice softly echoes out as the figure peers into one of the pods to get a closer look at an inhabitant who isn't stirring. "Vital signs.... negative... Subject lost.", the voice ascertains, no emotion in it's voice as it announces the death of one of the lab's inhabitants, and begins to move on to the next pods to take stock of who has survived. Meanwhile, more and more inhabitants of similar pods all throughout the secret facility step out of their places of rest, and regain their sense of a world that has gone on without them, or look upon this world for the first time.

Mandolin

Cold. At first that was all she could experience. Biting cold. But slowly, some semblance of consciousness came to her. Still no vision, her eyes were shut tight and didn't want to open yet. Her pointed ears twitched, her antennae doing to same as though they were reaching out to sense something. Anything. But nothing. Maybe it was because of her sluggishness or whatever was causing her to be asleep. Speaking of, it felt like she hadn't been awake in months. Longer maybe.

A quiet groan escaped her throat as she managed to open her eyes, bright red pupils attempting to scan her environment. Unfortunately, it was still so dark. Her ears twitched again, now detecting the sound of water. Was it flowing? Like a river or maybe a leaky dam? For a moment she thought she heard a voice or footsteps plodding through deep water. But she couldn't be sure. With a great deal of effort, she stopped out from the pod, groaning through strain as her bare feet stepped into the water.

The green skinned woman wobbled, but managed to keep her balance while massaging her stiff shoulders, looking about the room. There was a shape not far from her, and her instincts due to her currently faulty memory told her to be on edge.

"Who...who's there? Where am I?"

The young woman managed to ask, her voice felt a bit alien to even herself, a bit of gruff and depth to it, but still the general femininity that she was familiar with. Where was she before now? Traveling back from somewhere...right? With someone. There was a lingering sense of disappointment that she could still feel. But the rest was just...out of reach.

"What's going on?"

Bruss

The thud of her body hitting the metal floor was accompanied by a splash of the water flowing ankle deep throughout the facility intercepting her now limp body.

Bruss lay face down, gurgling softly as water made its way through her sinuses. Gurgling became loud snoring then even louder coughing as her body ejected the water and began blinking awake. Foreign sights and smells greeted the young saiyan, panicking her slightly. She wasn't used to not knowing exactly what was going on with her and to have just felt…what did she feel?

Sitting up, she ran her hands through her hair, working the dirty water out and freeing her eyes. She stood tall, letting the remnants drip as her eyes adjusted. She remembered blinding rage, then dreams of a red hellscape, then nothing, nothing at all. That couldn't be good.

Questions kept coming but answers were in short supply. Stamping her foot in frustration, she felt the ground beneath her give way, stressed concrete starting to fracture. Realizing that no answers would show up here, Bruss could do nothing else but follow her own internal senses and start heading upwards.

Minutes pass and before long a new noise joined the others. Someone was speaking out loud. A flicker of anger was caught in her throat, forcing out a grunt that echoed off the facility walls.

She wasn't alone.

When Suisei's pod was opened, there wasn't any physical body to be seen. Instead, it was a shortsword with a blue gem in its guard, shaped like flowing water, modeled onto a rapier's side guard. The blade fell from the floor, sticking its blade onto the floor. The guard suddenly glowed dimly--a sign of life.

'Where...?' Weakly, the sword thought to itself. Seeing through the reflections of the gem, it would see 3 People. Well, to call the green skinned being a person would be too generous. So 2 people, and a green skinned creature. 1 male, 2 female. The sword would twitch from the ground it tried to look around. Yet to no avail. Whether it's because of the fact that it's been in stasis for so long or not, Suisei felt weaker than usual. Perhaps it's due to how long she's been asleep.

'Who...What are they?' The Sword couldn't help but ask itself, wondering why these creatures emerged from stasis pods. 'They don't feel like any of the scientists...Where are they?' This could mean that they're not human--were they like her? It's possible, but even Suisei's not sure. She couldn't see any weapons on them after all. 'Where even am I?'

Another pod opened up, revealing cold gas as the machine that dwelled within thawed out. The cold air cleared out, revealing what seems to be a blonde, short haired woman. Her face seemed to be that of a gentle, purehearted maiden. However, her body is another story. It's purely mechanical, though shaped like a grown woman. Mechanical joints, gilded whilst exposing the endoskeletal joints that make up her body.

The blonde robot opened her eyes, revealing blue eyes. Irises expanding and contracting, like lenses adjusting to its surroundings.

"...Boot-Up Sequence Complete. All Systems Green. Ki Generator Active. Initiating 'Awake' Protocol." The woman's systems began an internal command chain. Her vision flooding with lines upon lines of complex code, the red disc on her ear-headband spinning, rotors whirring in response. She mumbled in a robotic voice. Monotone in sound, lifeless like the machine she is. "Analyzing Surroundings. Connecting to Company Network..." She suddenly flinched in but a second.

"Error. Company Network not detected. Acknowledging final objective received before deactivation. Beginning 'Stray Dog' Subroutine. Terminating connection to Company. Encrypting Important Data. Granting full admin control to unit." She blinked, letting out a sigh. Her eyes gaining color, brightening in emotional response.

"I...Am now free." The robot girl final spoke, sounding like a young adult with a somewhat low voice. She looked around, not finding any of her siblings. Considering she can no longer connect to the company that made her, that would be her first objective. Determine the fate of her siblings. To do so...She needs to know where she is.

"I am Mechanical Armament Mercenary - Ki Ammunition Based Combat Unit Prototype Model 4 Codename: Yumi Mam-Kabcu." She spoke towards basically anywhere, as if attempting to communicate with the earlier voice, unclear if that voice was even from a real person. "Identify yourself and my current location immediately."

A man with white hair and a straight jacket with belts wrapped around it would emerge from a now opened pod. Unable to speak do to a mask, he would look around at the people who would emerge from the pods and those who already have. Being in a room of strange people he would keep his guard up just in case.

Sibyl
The head of the feminine figure turned away from the pod with the deceased subject, towards those emerging from their own pods. She could scan the others who hadn't woken up later, for now she was presented with those who were alive... particularly resilient subjects who had emerged from a deep stasis so quickly, and were alert despite it all... truly they might just be the most successful subjects of... what program? There was a fault in her memory, preventing her from accessing the data... or was it simply that she wasn't connected to the server? Regardless, she'd been given no directives beyond "assess the status of test subjects and collect data" in reserve for when she'd awakened, and she was doing just that. The who or why of those directives were both unknown to her, and irrelevant.

She replied simply to the namekian who addressed her first. "I am Sibyl. A data collection android. Our current location is...........", she paused for multiple seconds trying to access that data... why was her memory so fragmented? She couldn't tell whether there were errors in her system, or if she'd even been privy to that data in the first place. "Our current location is unknown.", she finished her statement simply. She'd just have to leave the facility and see for her self where they were... as for the last question, she continued speaking as she took stock of those leaving their pods, scanning their statuses from her position at the end of the row of pods. "This facility has received significant damage from an unknown source... The main power system has been rendered inoperable by this damage, thus, the emergency power has activated.... all life-support systems have been deactivated in the event of emergency power usage... Facility protocol recommends immediate evacuation, due to the possibility that the reactor in it's damaged state might go critical...", she stated, matter-of-factly. She couldn't possibly know whether the damage would cause the reactor to detonate, and even if that would be the case, she didn't feel any particular way about it. Whether it did or did not would not prevent her from finding and assessing subject statuses, even if their statuses might change to "deceased" from such a detonation.

Matoh
"So, you're sayin' this place might blow up if we don't get a move on?", a gruff voice called out from behind Sibyl... it must have been an inhabitant from a different floor, a Saiyan by the looks of things. That was one more check off the subject list... He walked into view of the group, arms folded as he glared down at the android. "So. Are we gonna have to blast our way outta this place, or are ya gonna tell us where we need to go to leave?", he asked, holding out an open hand that began to shine with a brilliant light that filled the entire room. A ki blast by the look of it, and the look on his face said that he wasn't bluffing.

"That course of action isn't recommended... further damage to the facility might ensure that the reactor detonates, rather than it staying in it's currently unknown state.", the girl with glasses looked up at the saiyan without a hint of fear of that possibility on her face, once again, stating the facts. It was clear by now that their survival, or even hers, by the looks of things, weren't a priority on her to-do list... whatever part of her that held any emotion, if it existed, was turned off.

"Hmph. Damn machine.", the angry Saiyan spat, the glowing ball of energy in his hand fading away, and the brilliant light with it. "So, how to we get out? This place is a maze.", he said, once more folding his arms, as he looked back over the crowd who'd left their pods. He continued to address Sibyl though, disregarding them as he fished for the information he needed.

"Down the hall, there is an elevator shaft... Subjects of your power level should be able to pry the door open and fly to the top floor... From there, escape is a rather simple matter.", she explained. The Saiyan didn't wait for any further input from the android before taking off in the direction he'd been told to, more than ready to escape what could be a time bomb.

Emmett
During the commotion with the Saiyan, another test subject had woken up. He stumbled out of his pod, falling to the cold, wet floor on his knees as he wiped his eyes. There was some sort of lever or railing or something nearby, which he used as leverage to get back to standing... he still felt disoriented and weak, and he hadn't caught the conversation with the gruff Saiyan. He was vaguely aware of a crowd nearby, and as he looked down, he saw that it hadn't been some railing or lever he'd held onto, but... a sword? And a glowing one. He could feel a strange power humming through it's hilt... why was there a sword here? There appeared to be more to it than met the eye, so, he didn't let go of it, instead trying to get a sense of what was going on here.

Mandolin
Crimson eyes watched as the others emerged, and the initial entity spoke with them. Her ears again twitched with each new sound. More voices. Why was it so damned dark in here? It was difficult to determine much of any details from the individuals surrounding her. There was what appeared to be a blade with a gem of some sort that reflected some of the little light in the room. Then, the unmistakable sound of crunching ground, and light emanating from the hand of a tall humanoid figure. Great, there was a lot of hostility in here. Mandolin slowly and cautiously backed away from as many of them as she could, her arms at her side but ready to move for defense if necessary.

The first voice, feminine but emotionless and almost monotone replied, mentioning what was essentially an utter lack of useful information. However, her eyes widened at the mention of an explosive possibility. That was deeply concerning. They all had to get out of here. Mandolin would have to admit to being somewhat afraid of all of these individuals, her nerves getting the better of her. Her back straightened, making her fairly tall and lithe form more pronounced. She had to be brave like he would have been.

"In that case, we all need to get a move on. We can argue and all that once we're out of a potential blast zone. Come on."

With that, Mandolin moved in the direction of the hall and the elevator shaft. She wasn't sure if all of these people had the capability of getting out, but if they didn't she would be willing to help. Still, the woman would exercise caution as she made her way toward the supposed escape, her muscles tensed to defend herself should the need arise.

Oh boy, that isn't good. I need to get outta here ASAP! Suisei thought, still stuck on the ground. Hearing the fact that this place might blue up due to...Well, something. Even that woman who seemed to have woken up couldn't put head or tails as to where they air. She's not exactly sure what these life-support and the emergency power is, but she knows that evacuate means they need to move--now. In response to this, Suisei attempted to pivot herself out of the ground until someone grabbed her hilt--this feeling of synthetic warmness, no doubt, it's another artificial being. Like her, but a lot more different, in a sense.

Without a physical form, Suisei couldn't speak to this creature, but through the crystal guard, she can see who grabbed her and...Held onto it sword.

Due to the reflections and how the sword was facing front, she could only see half of the young man with long white hair, clad mostly in black and loose pants. She couldn't see the face pretty well, but Suisei thought he seemed pretty handsome for someone who's probably a horrifying mutant.

Regardless, Suisei can feel a faint energy combing through her entire, sword-body. Like one of those air cleaners those scientists used to clean out her thin slits--those often felt much weirder than they are loud. Emmett would discover that this sword, despite it being mostly metal and machinery, is alive. There was no flesh, but one can detect Ki from it.

Geez, how long are you going to keep holding me? It's embarrassing! The sword thought to itself, seeing how long the man was just holding her and nothing else. I-I mean, aren't you going to go leave everyone else? You're gonna get blown up too if you stay and just...Hold me like this, until I can fly. Actually, you know what, why don't you carry me. Please? She wasn't opposed to the idea of someone using her as a weapon. In fact, that's the entire reason she was even born. She begged, despite not being able to speak. Which is why she would love to have her Ki replenished already so that her Physical Form can take the sword already.

"Affirmative. Let us proceed posthaste." Taking in the green creature's words, Yumi would run after the green one, following her through the hall that should lead towards the elevator. Once there, one of them should pry open the doors. They'll probably decide once they're there.

Kanniu
Cold...Darkness..that was all that Kanniu could feel..it's all he could recognize, but it wasn't all that he could sense. He couldn't even begin to explain it as he sat within his pod..even though he wasn't aware of the situation that was going on. Slowly..one by one he became more and more aware of growing power surrounding his pod..it all felt different..foreign..yet at the same time familiar. It was like he knew all the energy that surrounded him but at the same time it was foreign to him as well. Even as he pushed his consciousness outward nothing seemed to make any more sense to him..all he could see were faint images..some names..none of it made sense to him though..it was as if while he was sensing the energy around him he was chasing a dream..a dream that no matter how hard he fought to remember it he could never quite fully wrap his head around it..there was only one name that rang true in his head that he could clearly remember..a name that felt like his own..but wasn't. Goku.

Suddenly light blasted away at the darkness and he would give a gasp as he awoke in his pod..a new sense of sights and smells immediately began to greet him as he opened his eyes for the first time and took in the scene before him. From within his pod he could see several others standing around outside of it..though none of them were paying him any attention. Whether that was because they didn't care or they hadn't noticed him he couldn't tell..but he was determined to find out who they were and what was going on. Slowly he would clench a fist and would push against the glass door of the pod before him..which refused to open in the slightest. Giving a frown he would push on it again..to still not luck. What in the hell? Was this machine? This..obstacle trying to keep him locked away? Not likely. Looking out of the pod before him he could see that it was clear..and in his mind he felt something..a familiar feeling of being able to harness the energy within him and use it as a weapon. Staying silent for a moment he would raise his hand again and he would focus hard on the energy within him..and a moment later he could feel the energy surfacing..pooling into his hand to create a glowing blue orb about the size of his palm. If it wasn't for the fact that he was trying to get out of this damn pod he would have been amazed at how easily he manifested this energy...no..Ki..that's what it was called.

For a moment longer he held the glowing orb in his palm..before he let it loose on the glass before him and with a loud BANG and a rain of shattered glass the pod before him was destroyed. Smoke wafted from the pod he was standing in and it seemed like for a long moment to those that were outside of the pod that it was a major malfunction and the pod had just exploded..that was until a moment later he reached out from behind the smoke and gripped the side of the pod and stepped out. Glancing around slowly he would take a look at the mess he had just made before he looked at everyone before him..and gave a nervous grin followed by a small chuckle "Uh..ooops? My bad...hehehehe..."

Sibyl
"Yes, it's in your best interest to follow that Saiyan if increasing the chance of your continued survival is your goal...", she replied flatly to the Namekian, looking back to one of the pods in the room that hadn't opened. She could sense the ki inside growing... the pod had jammed. Soon after, it erupted, and another live subject stepped out... one more accounted for. She wondered how much counting she'd have to do once this group left... Which, speaking of, they began to, and Sibyl made no moves to stop them. It wasn't in her programming to do so, after all, her primary goal was to assess who had lived and who was left...

Emmett
In the following moments since he'd gained his bearings, Emmett came to realize that this place sounded unsafe... "Wait, this place is going to blow up?", he asked to nobody in particular, as the crowd seemed to be heading out of the room. He didn't even know what this place was, or why it was going to blow up... so many questions, but if there was a chance that this place would be history sooner rather than later, then, he unfortunately wouldn't be sticking around to find out. He decided to trust what he'd heard, and followed the others out. However, when he passed by the woman who'd told them all they were in danger, she didn't seem at all interested in following. Instead, she continued to the back of the room full of pods. Emmett looked at her with a baffled expression. "Aren't you going to come with us? If this place is going to blow up, then if you stay here, you'll die!", he called out to her.

"My job is to assess the status of the subjects housed within the pods. Survival is not a priority in my task list.", she answered. "What's that supposed to mean? That you don't care if you live? Don't you know you can check up on them after we check if this place is going to blow up, and stop it from doing that?", he asked. The woman didn't respond, heading to the last two pods in the room. He sighed and shook his head, following after her, and looking in the last two pods with her. Women... one with purple hair, and one with black, both unconscious... the water had drained but the pod doors hadn't opened... did they jam like that other pod? By the looks of it, they were alive, just not awake... It dawned on him there could be many more rooms like this in this facility... leaving would doom whoever was left in the facility if this place were to explode, wouldn't it?

Emmett grabbed the pod door and pulled. The metal creaked and groaned, but the lock didn't disengage... he couldn't chance blowing the pod up either or he'd be killing it's inhabitant... He looked down at the sword in his hand and took a deep breath, holding it in both hands. Whatever it was, it definitely felt alive, and it'd be helping him carve these people out of here... He sliced the corner of the pod's glass, cleaving straight through and down to the bottom of the housing, then another couple slices, til he'd cut out a portion of the pod's glass. He then pulled on the edge of the pane. It cut into his hand, but with enough force, the whole pane shattered. He did the same for the other pod.

With that out of the way, he tucked the sword in his waistband, the tip of the sword ripping through the side of his pants... a shame he was ruining the clothes, but it was for a good cause. He gave one last look to the woman who'd told them they were in danger. "I'll be coming back for you, count on it.", he told her firmly, before reaching into each pod, and picking up the women inside. It was unwieldy carrying the both of them, but he settled on resting one on his shoulders, and holding the other in his arms, keeping them both secure as he dashed out, vaguely remembering the directions the others had been given to get out.

Mandolin

Mandolin moved swiftly, yet cautiously, maintaining a constant auditory vigil. She was of course skeptical of all of this with the mystery and terror of it all. It was important to try and keep an ear and eye out for potential danger. It was unlikely they were alone here. Once she caught up to the fellow who had gone ahead, he was already opening up the doors. The young woman's ears twitched as she stepped into the dark and empty elevator shaft, faint and distant sounds crept into her ears as the vibrations bounced off of the walls of both steel and stone. Just where was this place?

Her eyes returned briefly to the corridor leading here, looking to those who were following. All of these unknowns were driving her mad. Willing herself to move upward, her ki propelled her in flight up to the top of the shaft, exiting to see a destroyed room, prepared to take in new surroundings as her feet touched the cold floor.

Suisei observed as Emmett approached the woman who seemed to be doing diagnostics on the pods, despite the fact that it's going to explode. Admirable, but reckless. There was also a pod that didn't open--Suisei couldn't detect ki, but she felt as if Emmett was one who wouldn't let anyone die, no matter the circumstance.

She attempted to use her weakened Ki to amplify he sharpness--causing the blade to glow dimly as Emmett swung her to open the pod door. Each strike causing the pod to crack, and crack until it was sliced open, setting two of the pods free.

'Alright, they're out--now let's go!' Suisei spoke her mind to the abyss as Emmett tucked her in his pants like a child sheathing a toy sword--except she's a real sword and ripped the side of his pants. Oops. Regardless, even with weakened Ki, Suisei was glad she could be of help.

-->

Yumi arrived at the same time as Mandolin--and by the time they're there, the doors were already opened by some hairy fellow. She wasn't quite sure who it was, but Yumi was glad he did what he did.

After Mandolin took flight, Yumi activated her leg thrusters, flying after the strange green woman.

Choron would look behind him to see an explosion. After such Choron would continue to walk down the path. When Choron reaches the elevator he would look at how wide it was and he'd then jump from one wall to the wall on the opposite side, barely getting some jumps, slowly going up the elevator hoping it isn't to high up, or else he would fall several meters down and die.

Marrik's pod was malfunctioning in amidst the small explosions from equipment and alarms beeping

He awoke angry and his rage boiling up he shattered his pod in an almost berserk condition and charged out

Matoh
Just ahead, salvation loomed. Just behind thick iron doors in what appeared to be some sort of lobby or waiting room. Matoh ran up to the doors with the others not far behind, grabbed the edge of the unpowered metal doors, and began to force them open, as hard as his saiyan might could let him... they were tough, thick doors, and provided a lot of resistance, but slowly but surely the doors were opening, just enough that beyond the face-wide crack in the door, daylight could be seen, urging him to push ever harder towards freedom...

Until the doors began to... glow for just a moment, and Matoh's eyes widened in surprise as a blast of energy overtook the door, blowing it inward and sending him flying back through the reception desk. The waiting room filled with smoke as the doors were blown inward, out of the frame and sent chairs and the like scattering like trash, flipping before coming to a stop against the walls.

2ea836a97b7790ee7a67c64bfea0fc72.jpg

"THIS IS THE END OF THE LINE FOR YOU.", a cold, metallic voice rang out, standing in the doorway to freedom, as the smoke cleared. Whatever the creature was, it'd apparently been the source of the blast, and it's intent seemed clear. "YOU WILL NOT LEAVE THIS PLACE ALIVE.", it spoke.

Matoh had just recovered from the blast and was picking himself up. Not the type to be so quickly deterred or cast aside, the proud Saiyan warrior leapt up and charged the source of the attack, readying a ball of ki in his hand as he did so. He was swiftly caught by the neck before his ki-laced punch could connect, and the Strange being began to lift him up and laugh. Matoh held the ki-infused hand out in front of the being's face and discharged the blast, sending a strong wave of ki that washed over his torso and head, cutting off the laugh with it's thunderous sound, which echoed through the lobby...

The flash died down and the smoke cleared once more to reveal the creature seemed barely harmed. "LIKE I SAID. THIS IS THE END OF THE LINE.", it repeated, before reeling back and slamming the Saiyan into a wall nearby, and following up with his own small sphere of energy that pushed the Saiyan warrior further into the wall before erupting, taking out the wall and part of the cliffside with it, sending the rocky cliffside outside cascading down like an earthquake into the valley below, and flooding the previously dark waiting room with light as he turned back to face the survivors, raising his arms as if to invite an attack. "SO. WHO WILL BE NEXT?"

Emmett
Emmett had just reached the elevator shaft when he heard the thunderous eruptions. Something was going on upstairs, people were fighting, and if he brought up the women he was carrying, they'd be caught in the crossfire... He continued flying up but stopped short of the "lobby" area the android woman had referred them to, instead kicking open a door to another hall a few floors down. He flew in and sat the women by the door, before pulling the sword out of his pants and flying up to follow the rest of the crowd who'd already made their way up there... ready to deal with whatever it was that was causing this ruckus... even if he didn't really like the idea of fighting, whoever was blasting around up there needed to be stopped... the safety of this place was already at risk from a previous mysterious attack, who knew whether this place would erupt with just one more strong attack?

Mandolin
Well...that happened. The sudden attack caught Mandolin off guard, but fortunately her reflexes still seemed mostly intact. With a quick lunge, she managed to land in a roll, using her hand to slow her slide across the ground. That blast was powerful. What on Earth had created it? The green skinned woman raised her hold slightly to give her more vision of her attacker. Suddenly, she wished she hadn't asked. Before she could say anything, the creature spoke, issuing a threatening statement. Great. So it was hostile. She was wanting to formulate a plan with the dark haired young man, but he charges their attacker.

Mandolin's pointed teeth clenched as she groaned in frustration. Why was he so reckless?! Unfortunately for both of them, the boy was caught and struck. Hard. Clearly this thing was too strong for her alone. Maybe all of them together? She needed time.

With a slow and methodical motion, the green skinned woman raised her arms up in a fighting stance, defensive, meant to guard her upper body while allowing flexible movement. She slowly skirted around the room, watching her foe.

"Look, whoever...whatever you are, we have no quarrel with you. We all just woke up here. What do you want?"

Mandolin's voice was somewhat husky and fairly deep for a feminine frame, but her words were clear and concise, spoken with careful direction. She gathered her ki, just in case it decided to attack her. The explosive wave technique, one of her only learned offensive techniques, apart from the brief training in magic and mysticism, wasn't particularly devastating. However, against a foe who wasn't expecting such a large burst may be taken by surprise. Her jaw clenched tighter, a small grunt of effort barely escaping her throat as her right arm swelled slightly from the building energy.

Just needed an opportunity, and if possible, information.

Choron would freak out from the sighting of the creature in black-clad armor. Choron would stay far back from the armored creature. He would wait for all of the people to defeat the creature in order to avoid death.

Morathol, the Galactic Enforcer!

Morathol felt a familiar sensation wash upon him as he awoke from his slumber. He snapped his eyes open as the gel of the healing pod drained and the oxygen mask detached from his face. Taking a gasp of natural air for once in what seemed forever, he quickly lost his composure into a coughing fit as the fluids from the pod where still set in his lungs.

Coughing up a lung was the least of his concerns. He had just crashed his ship on a mission he was not invited to and was taken somewhat captive in an unknown place. As he picked himself up off the ground from his body rejecting whatever he was placed him, he glanced around the dimly lit area and reached for his scouter, attempting to activate it. The scanning screen covered his eyes but a large crack made itself evident on the left side. "Dammit. Must have been damaged in the crash..." He sighed as he made his way out of the chambered room, hoping to find another someone. Or something.

This place was like a maze, he wondered as he made his way around the very dimly lit hallways. "The hell just happened here? Did my ship cause this?" he wondered to himself as he tried to make out the signs and directions upon the walls.

Soon enough, he would regret the want for companionship. As he walked into what he assumed to be the main exit, he caught the tail end of the shockwave from some uknown assailant. Crossing his arms to shield his face, he looked up and tensed himself for a fight.

"Wait, a Nemekian?? A saiyan? A....the hell are you supposed to be?" Morathol accused as he pointed to Susei. "and what the FUCK is that?!" He shouted as the supposed robot sentry system tossed another into the wall.

"Alright, I don't know who the hell any of you guys are but I can tell THAT guy..." He shouted while pointing at ZERO "is not part of our little group. So I say its my turn!" He laughed as he formed a ball of Ki at his fingertips.

In an attempt to use Solar Eclipse Shot, Morathol suddenly started coughing again, which caused the ball of blinding ki to fire into the ground and blind himself.

"AH FUCK" He yelled as he grabbed his face. " Why the hell do scouters NOT have a dimmer function on them!?" Was the last thing he Lemented before regaining his composure and breathing. "Apparently I'm too weak to fight. All right whos next?" He laughed nervously.

Hearing the explosion from the top most surface of the Elevator Shaft, Suisei began to feel a tad nervous.

'Something's up there...' Suisei thought to herself, but as a sword without a humanoid form, she couldn't relay that thought to her holder. Instead, she tried breathing in and out, preparing for battle, she tried to gather as much ki as she could, remembering the breathing exercises she was thought by the man who let her compete in a World Martial Arts Tournament and several other smaller scale tournaments.

What caused that explosion was revealed when Suisei and her holder--whoever this pink haired guy is--reached the top of the elevator shaft. It looked like another experiment--an otherworldly suit of armor, black as tar. It bore the appearance of a blade ridden demon, with sharp claws and a sword hand. It mocked the group, inviting an attack on the creature.

As the man drew her out of his pants, another purple skinned creature finally caught up to the group, detecting Suisei somehow in the hands of her new holder.

'Wait, you can SENSE ME?!' Suisei asked the purple skinned man, not knowing if he's capable of telepathy or not. 'That's the first time somebody sensed me!' She felt giddy, almost forgetting the fact that they're about to fight. Feeling enough energy, the blade began to glow, unleashing a cold air as it began to speak to her holder.

"Psst! Hey! You can hear me now, right?" Suisei spoke to her holder in a whisper like tone. Her voice sounds like a young teenager, high in pitch, yet a bit of a sopprano. "When you go to attack, make sure you throw me! I wanna catch it off guard!" She whispered a plan. "I can assist you now that I'm feeling a bit energized. As thanks for getting me off of that rock earlier."

"Warning! Hostile Threat Detected! Initiating Combat Routine!" Yumi spoke in a robotic tone, aiming her fingers at the demon that blocked the door, "Firing!" Her fingertips glowed yellow, before shooting ki-blasts at the Hybrid in a rapid rate--like a machine gun's automatic fire, mounted on a turret, she stayed in place as she continued to pelt at her chosen target.

Observing from the shadows of the Elevator Shaft was the empress in blue, observing the black demon and all the others before making a move herself. After all, what are underlings for than to become cannon fodder? Even if these aliens don't know much about her.
