History:

Like all half-bloods, Audrey was born into a divided home. Her mother, Victoria is a gifted witch who works at the Ministry in the Muggle Liaison Office, where her talents are most likely wasted. Her father, Richard is an ordinary man who works a boring office job selling insurance. Audrey is the youngest between her and her twin brother, Benjamin who also has an affinity for magic.

Her home life in Inverness, Scotland was relatively normal growing up. Audrey has always wondered about her mother's side of the family, but that subject is touchy and her mother refuses to go into details. The Reynards reportedly do not have a good standing within the magical community.

Despite her misgivings, her mother guided her and her brother to properly control her magic before they received her Hogwarts letter and on her eleventh birthday, her mother gifted her a lovely kitten that Audrey affectionately dubbed "Lyle".In the time that Audrey has been a student, Lyle has never left her side and he's an immense source of comfort for the young witch.

Audrey was distraught when she and her brother were assigned to different houses, she Hufflepuff and him Slytherin. She's always been rather dependent on him and so she initially took their separation quite hard. With time, she's come to accept the inevitable and has taken solace in being attached to him at the hip at any other time, much to his house's chagrin.

Audrey has come to be an exceptionally talented Quidditch player, playing a Chaser on the house team and she's very taken with the subject of charms.

Where she would normally be ecstatic with the new year she has heard of the attacks on muggleborn and halfblood wizards and her joy carries an undertone of fear. She worries deeply for her friends and brother.



Personality:

Audrey is a friendly and amiable young witch. She has never met someone she could not get along with regardless of their house or temperament. While she is not the brightest or most naturally gifted witch, she makes up for her failings by working hard and studying. She can be forgetful at times and struggles with maintaining her focus, especially in History of Magic.
Unlike most girls her age, Audrey has not taken any special interest in members of the opposite sex. It's a possibility that she had been flirted with before, but Audrey is much too oblivious to have noticed it.


Boggart:

Audrey's biggest fear is the loss of her brother. He is her other half and without him her world would be destroyed. When confronted with Boggarts, they take the form of her brother dead in some gruesome, horrifying way.

Along with his devoted sister, he grew up in a relatively stable environment. His mother taught them well but he has never met any of his extended family on his mother's side. Victoria cites "bad blood" with they Reynards but he's always had the sense that there was more to it than that.

  The small, quaint town of Willowdale is nestled right in the Appalachian Mountains in Western Pennsylvania. Though it was once a quiet, secluded area, with the building of a new highway, it's become a rest stop for countless vacationers and roadtrippers. But, even though this little town appears innocent on the outside, it houses deep, dark secrets.
  
  Willowdale was founded in the early 1800s by two young men; Felix Wolff, a German immigrant, and his friend, Achilles Dubois, a wealthy Frenchman. Though one was a naive foreigner who barely spoke a word of English and the other was a well-to-do businessman, the two were able to strike up a close friendship when they realized how close they actually were. As it turned out, Felix Wolff came from a long line of German werewolves whereas Achilles Dubois came from an ancient chain of vampires. At said time in history, both of their races had been hunted to near extinction by those who called themselves Hunters. With the idea to form a town to protect these supernatural creatures, the two set out and purchased themselves acres upon acres of wilderness in the mountains.
  
  The town seemed to appear almost overnight with the help of werewolves and vampires alike. By the time winter rolled around in 1818, Willowdale had become a fully-fuctioning town that was, more or less, invisible to the outside world. By the time the Civil War had passed over the rest of the United States, the population of supernatural creatures had increased considerably, exceeding a few hundred. Until 1956, only one or two lost people a year would pop up in the town and "disappear" when a few young vampires were unable to contain themselves. With the Interstate Highway System, which was built in 1956, Willowdale suddenly found itself a major rest stop on the way through the Appalachian Mountains. The town completely changed, attempting to keep up with the growing number of tourists who stopped on their way cross-country. By 1980, Willowdale had near doubled in size, though not population, and all but lost its small town vibe.
  
  In 2010, a family of tourists disappeared without a trace. While authorities searched for them without luck, the citizens knew exactly what had happened. A young group of vampires, without anyone knowing, had attacked the group and drained them of their plasma before anyone could stop them. Though the young vampires were punished for their wrongdoings, the werewolves couldn't help but feel a sudden distrust toward the vampires. Soon, the two main races of Willowdale became adversaries, avoiding the other as much as possible. And yet, life continued on until a group of Hunters appeared in Willowdale, certain that the disappearance, which had been passed off as a group of lost travelers, had to do with the supernatural creatures they'd been fighting to find their entire lives.

  The Hunters are basically a group of humans who hold some sort of grudge against supernatural creatures. Quite a few of them were born into their role while some joined after the suffered a loss or were pressured into it. It's a bit of a rigid group with many guidelines. A child born into the Hunters is raised normally until age fourteen. Once they reach said age, they are forced into the world of Hunting and join the branch at age twenty-one, if successful. There are countless branches of it, but this one in the eastern portion of the United States moved to Willowdale after hearing word of the 2010 tourist accident. They've been here ever since, even buying a few homes and trying to settle in amidst the creatures they plan to kill.

  The werewolf pack of Willowdale has always been united. It functions as a normal wolf pack would with close ties, an obligation to feed the young first, and an undying loyalty to the elders. The male and female pairs are mated pairs who live as married or dating couples in society. The werewolves, in human form, are usually tanned, toned, and look as if they spend every day in the sun, which they mostly do. Werewolves can be created through werewolf-werewolf relationships or werewolf-human relationships. It is a dominant trait. Werewolves can be created through the bites of another werewolf. They can change form when they wish to but are forced to change their form each full moon for the entire night. Wolf forms appear simply as larger-than-normal wolves. Usually, one of the alpha pair's offspring will take over the pack after the prime of the leader has passed. However, in the past, other males or females have been able to take over. Currently, however, the Alpha Male is a direct descendant of Felix Wolff, one of the founders.
  
  Werewolf Strengths: Wolf form, super speed, super strength, heightened endurance, enlarged fangs that can tear flesh easily, telepathy between pack members which can easily be turned on or off
  
  Werewolf Weaknesses: Forced to transform every full moon, they can be killed with any weapon but they are especially vulnerable to silver in general, wolfsbane
  
  Age at Which They Show Signs of Werewolfism: Symptoms of werewolfism appear during puberty. Therefore, most female werewolves show their wolf form before males.

  The vampires are just as closely knit as the werewolves, in their own sense. While they don't have as much of a ranking as the wolf pack, they are still very close and spend a lot of time around other members. The current coven leader took over after the untimely demise of Achilles Dubois and has held control since. Since human blood is so hard to come by nowadays, it is a delicacy to the vampires. Instead, they find themselves reduced to hunting animals such as deer in the woods, like the werewolves, to receive their blood fix. Though their flesh is not sensitive to sunlight, it is usually pale. Their eyes, however, are sensitive and they are usually spotted wearing sunglasses or hats of some sort to block out the light. Unlike the werewolves, they usually live longer and seem to retain their youth more. A child produced in a vampire-vampire relationship will become a vampire. However, a vampire-human relationship or human-vampire relationship results in a human child. In less words, it's a recessive gene. Vampires can also be created through a bite by a vampire.
  
  Vampire Strengths: Super speed, super strength, fangs, one or two powers which they learn to control and perfect over time, naturally charismatic and seductive
  
  Vampire Weaknesses: Must feed at least once a week to live (most vampires feed much more than that), silver, holy water or crosses, wooden stakes, their eyes are sensitive to sunlight
  
  Age at Which They Show Signs of Vampirism: Vampirism shows signs in infants. It is a lifelong thing though they will not gain powers until old enough.

She's a well-loved and respected member of the Willowdale community though she is not a very sociable person. Her parents nurtured this never-ending curiosity in her and the more time passed, the more members of the pack came to rely on her for information.

Jo's parent's disappeared without a trace on her sixteenth birthday. As she returned home from school that day, she was met with an empty silence. No evidence suggested a struggle of any kind and no personal items were taken, not even their clothes. She's spent over ten years searching for them, but the Pack has wrote it off as the Becket's being taken by Hunters. She's not ready to give up any time soon and she still searches for clues about their disappearance every day.

Description: Theo was born and raised to be a killing machine. Any compassion for supernatural beings he may have once had is buried under prejudice, anger, and disgust. He's an exceedingly skilled tracker and strategist and has more than earned his position as the leader of the Hunters, even with his young age. Theo is protective to the point of overbearing towards his Hunters and pushes them hard to be their best, knowing that if he slacks even the slightest bit it could cost them their lives. Theo is very collected and calm and often appears to be in deep thought. He enjoys solving riddles and it is one his biggest reasons for becoming a detective.

History>

Theo's parents, Maggie and Steven Price were mostly absent in the rearing of their son. It can be assumed that they had him simply to carry on the Price family line. They were well respected Hunters, they simply had no interest in their child's emotional well-being. Theo was not very distraught when they passed away when he was a child. His uncle, Frederick took him in after their death.

Theo endured every hardship that could possibly be placed on him from then on. His days were spent going to school and his nights were spent rigorously training under his uncle's strict glare. Years passed and Theo flourished into a Hunter of renowned in his own right, finally out of his parent's and uncle's shadow.

Theo was the first Hunter to learn of the tourist's disappearance in Willowdale and made quick work of instilling himself in the community, becoming a detective within their relatively small police force in a matter of months. He's been appalled to learn of the sheer number of supernaturals that reside in the town and has made it his mission to cleanse the town by any means necessary.

Brief Background:
Delilah hails from a small town in northwest Alabama. Her childhood was spent attending local Native American festivals and dancing in traditional garb and playing with her siblings and never ending slew of cousins. She didn't grow up with luxuries like a TV or internet. Those were simply too expensive and Delilah feels a little deprived of the simple pleasures her peers enjoyed. Her time was filled with other activities like reading and running, swimming and using her imagination to conjure elaborate stories to share with her friends.

Delilah's abilities manifested fairly early in her childhood though it was certainly nothing extravagent or eye-catching. When she worked in the garden with her granny, her crops were the strongest, the soil she touched more fertile. Her family always yielded the best harvest out of their community.

When she was old enough, her parents had her go to Dorcas for fear of their daughter's safety. It took Delilah time to adjust to the culture shock and she is often still homesick for her family and her community, but she has since met wonderful people and formed lasting relationships.

Wesley Bernard Covington

Wesley didn't always go by Captain Covington, feared pirate of the Manta. Before his notorious reign, he was just a simple son of a fisherman. His mother died early on during childbirth along his younger sister, Marigold. He and his father made their living on the shores of the sea, barely having enough food or money to fill their empty bellies and keep the cold out of their little shack.

His father sold him to a pirate that had raided their little town in exchange for practically nothing when he was ten. As it would turn it, it was the single most important thing to happen to him. The pirate, Captain Delgado, became his father figure and his role model. Delgado took him under his wing and taught him everything there was to know about the sea and heading a ship and crew. It was Delgado's wish that Wesley would succeed him. It was a wish that came true not long after Wesley's twenty-second birthday.

In the three years since, Wesley has made a name for himself. He's beaten nearly every other pirate that dared to enter his territory. He rules his crew with an iron fist and has no qualms about pillaging any town he comes across. He's an accomplished swordsman and a formidable fighter. He doesn't let anyone fight his battles for him and stands alongside his crew. He fears nothing and no one. His overconfidence and charm will be the ruin of him one day.
