Don Hertzfeldt

  1. I simply had to share this rather amusing and unusual animator known as Don Hertzfeldt. I imagine there are some people here who have heard of this guy, but I feel he is somebody who's work should be shared. You can find nearly all of his work on his Youtube channel 'Don Hertzfeldt'.     His work tends to be something of a mix of, black-comedy, tragedy, tragic-comedy and a few that range into the philosophical and existential thoughts. To note, one of his most famous works, "Don Hertzfeldt: The Rejected Cartoons" was featured on "MTV's The Animation Show" which involved a variety of notable and famous animators, Mike Judge being the lead producer for the show; other notes such as the Sundance Film Festival have recognized much of his work as well.

    Good pick on the video too, it's one of the better and more interesting ones.

  4. Yeah, I've always enjoyed the strange work he's put out over the years. Though he hasn't done much, it seems that quite the cult following has taken to his work.
