Personally a number of reasons, they're lighter in the summer, often quite pretty, they make us feel feminine and pretty, and lastly easy to access ;)

Why do all boys like sports so much?
 
A lot of us don't.
Most of us who don't end up getting into Gaming.

I think why so many men do like sports though is honestly just the testosterone.
They want to run around, be active, compete, beat something to a pulp sometimes, sports provide such a release.

Relevant and amusing.

Serious answer; like all of these questions, depends on the guy, but usually men are less expressive than women. That doesn't mean we care any less, although it's understandable that it can be mistaken as apathy or a lack of interest.
