Eastern Algid is a roleplaying, collaborative storytelling, independent writing, art and character design sharing discord server with a focus on community!
The plot is set in future Eastern Eurasia after an apocalyptic second coming of an ice age has wiped most life off the globe. A small pocket of wilds is kept warm enough to support life thanks to geothermal activity, and many species have migrated there to try and survive the global freeze. Some insertable species include, but are not limited to: Bears, Wolves, Cats (large and small), Birds of Prey, and several different prey animals. We currently have no human characters, but I'm open to anything if it can be justified, and I encourage you to pursue the character you want. Overall, this is a server designed to let you experience it however suits you best! There are even roles available for members that would like to join and see what others are up to, but not necessarily participate, or members that would like to only participate in one activity.
Resources such as maps, personal character channels, and a database of geographically accurate landscapes and animals are readily available for members to aid them in navigating the world and creating their own characters.
IMPORTANT: We are asking that members are 16+. There will be no inappropriate content aside from occasional profanity, but we want to maintain a mature and thoughtful atmosphere.
