Yeah, that should be fine - you're second character I mean.
As far as a plan is, we'll leave Manhattan, then the squad will encounter Sir Pinkleton's Riley (perhaps your second character too?) and eventually get into a fire fight with Boston men in Maryland that get's wrecked by inbreds. Any NPC that don't hold meaning will die there - from there we'll keep working down to Florida while evading Raider's and the remains of that team from Boston.
