The story of Dimensions takes place throughout time and space, but it begins in the Null Dimension. It is a city crafted within a black hole and is populated by a wide variety of people and creatures from throughout all sorts of different universes. It looks like a great floating island, a city crafted around a bay of pristine water. It is not known how one enters the Null Dimension, but somehow, you managed to do it.

A great darkness hovers above the city. And this is not figurative by any stretch of the imagination. A literal, palpable dark cloud hovers on the fringes of the city, occasionally leaking in and wreaking havoc. The people of the Null Dimension are constantly locked in a desperate battle for their own existence against this darkness.

The city is ruled by a mysterious entity known as the Chaplain, along with the Council of the Wizened, a collection of the greatest minds known across the realms of time. No one knows who the Chaplain is. Most agree he is a man, although his face is obscured by a white mask, his body by white robes. It is he who first arrived in the Null Dimension. He, just like all other inhabitants, is untouched by the ravages of time, and will remain in this state for all of eternity.

Your characters arrive in the Null Dimension all at the same time following an odd encounter with a glowing stone. You don't know how you found this object. You were inexplicably drawn to it. And you must've touched it, as you then awoke in the Null Dimension. Be you a human, a sentient beast, or some other alien life form, you are now in the Null Dimension, torn away from your own time. Your future is up to you.

So you have complete creativity with your character. They can be your own creation, from your own universe with its own history. It'll be total culture shock for everyone involved. Feel free to do whatever you want. I'd rather not have a group of ten humans, to be honest. Branch out, be creative, this is your RP. I just ask that you don't make any fandom based characters or whatever. Be unique.

@Assallya @Alabaster @Jays @Boo Girlie BoomBoom @Moogle-Girl @Blastocyst

I have a character in mind, just need to write the bio. Fair warning though that I'm on vacation until the end of the month, so I won't be super active until then.

I have a couple charries ready, but like before submitting my appies, okay so like questions then:

~How does magic work in this dimension? Like if we are sorceresses, shamans or any sort of wizard can we still cast?
~What about 'holy type' of magic or 'god-powered' or 'spirit powered' devices?
~Is there gunna be some kinda 'universal translation device' so we all understand each other?
~What would the uppermost 'badassery' level be? Or would you prefer we be closer to 'regular' kinda' peeps?

thanks ya^^

Tessaril

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Appearance: Tessaril is lovely woman with purple skin and four arms. Generally, she wears only a long skirt, leaving her torso bare and her feet bare. She adorns herself in all manner of jewelry and paints her finger and toenails black.

Personality: Haughty and belligerent Tessaril is a noble, born to trod on the backs of those lesser to her. She is cowardly and vain.

History: Tessaril is a young Wyrd and was part of an invasion force seeking to conquer a new world in a new dimension as was her right. She and her elite bodyguards were conquering a pathetic world when she sensed a powerful magical artifact. Little did she know was that touching this stone that the natives had guarded so zealously would whisk her away from her empire.
Species: Wyrd

Time Period, Universe, etc: Tessaril is a Wyrd. They are a matriarchal race of conquerors, using their powerful mastery of magic to conquer lesser dimensions before expanding their empire. Generally, they are very few in number and rely upon their enslaved races to do much of their recent expansion. Only the females seem to have the ability to use magic and even then, not all of them. The men most often serve as elite warriors, bodyguards and generals. Less than a thousand Wyrd occupy a world, ruling over hundreds of thousands of peasants who work to send goods back to the home world.

The conquering of a new world is a rite of passage for the Wyrd. Those that fall in battle, rare as that is given how many slaves serve in the front lines, are undeserving and unmourned. When the world is conquered, the new adults serve as the ruling body. Then the political jockeying to be the most powerful and influential ruler begins in the hope of one day getting to serve back upon the home world which is glorious, having been built on the plunder of a hundred worlds.

Other: Tessaril is a powerful sorceress but like all spell casters she is very vulnerable to somehow who gets within arm's reach. Her spells normally require concentration, elaborate hand motions and chanting. Disrupting any of these will most often result in the loss of the spell being woven.

1. Magic is tricky. In the Null Dimension, you cannot use magic very efficiently, as the Chaplain's influence dulls your abilities. In other dimensions you will be able to use your magic unless otherwise specified.
2. I'm not sure what you mean entirely by that. PM me and we can discuss.
3. Everyone in the Null Dimension is able to speak the same language and understand one another, thanks to the magic of the Chaplain. This is why Socrates and Albert Einstein can have a civil conversation.
4. Uppermost badassery would be some sort of highly skilled soldier or adequate mage, maybe a pretty threatening monster of sorts. Nothing too OP. I trust you guys to be mature. I don't want everyone to be a kung-fu god, though.

Thanks for answers^^

So like ya basically answered my 2nd question with your first answer and last answer. Basically I was asking if you had a patron deity or element that gave you powers, like would there be 'interference' with channeling their power and the answer is yes and it depends :333~

~edz~ and actually this should be 'interesting' for my charrie then. Well like at least one of them^^;

Name: Kelkov Aerio
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Species: Human

Appearance: Kelkov goes out of his way to make himself look immaculately clean at all times. All the suits he wears are tailored perfectly to his tall, slender figure. His close-cropped, dark brown hair is always neatly combed. His bangs are kept long to cover the small scar on his forehead (metal-lined cards do not make good weapons, as it turns out), and he even whitens his teeth, plucks his eyebrows, and wears slight makeup to hide any blemishes. His round nose, wide mouth, and narrow eyes often make him appear shifty. He is farsighted, but he hates people knowing it, so he usually wears contacts and leaves his reading glasses at home.

Personality: Kelkov enjoys being in control. Smooth, suave, and imposing are all words he'd used to describe himself. He keeps his friends close, and his enemies closer. Manipulation was his game at a young age; he sought out others' weaknesses and used the information he dug up to bully, threaten, and blackmail people until he got what he wanted. His old analysis habits still haven't died. First impressions are everything to him: if people find him creepy, he's good at dialing it back to a more natural, friendly tone. Nowadays, though, meditation exercises have helped him use his talents in a more positive direction.

History:
Much of Kelkov's history is steeped in a nefarious cult called the Soul Guardians. The group was originally designed to be a force for good, with its members chosen by the Creator herself to combat those who would use their magic to control the souls of others. This changed, however, when a demoness named Emelia entered the scene. She wanted to use the group to seize the power of the Creator, the goddess who rules over the universe. It was said that anyone who manages to kill the Creator takes her role, and all the power that comes with it. Emelia's plan was to cause so much mayhem using the group that started in the Creator's image that she would have no choice but to come down personally to put a stop to the corruption.

Kelkov was a part of the Soul Guardians before Emelia came in, and he had a great deal of respect for the man chosen to lead the group initially, so Kelkov was not on board with Emelia's mission. He did have another motivation for going with her, however: he had a massive crush on her. With this in mind, Kelkov went with everything Emelia said, hoping it would boost his chances of being with her. But in the end, Emelia was not successful. She was felled by the very man who was originally meant to lead the Soul Guardians, and who also happened to be Kelkov's mentor in magic and, informally, life in general. Kelkov didn't take Emelia's death well, to say the least. Feeling deeply betrayed and wanting to give Emelia a second chance at achieving her goal, Kelkov took his own life. But not permanently; he was going in to get Emelia back.

Though it was the biggest gamble Kelkov had ever taken, he was right in that Emelia had gone to a physical afterlife. He even found her, but she had no interest in returning, having met up with her long-since deceased mother and found peace in death. From there, the short version of the story is that Kelkov threatened the Angels watching over the dead until they sent him back to the world of the living.

The whole adventure has given Kelkov an entirely new outlook on life. He trains with a half-bird half-man named Chikara, using meditation and basic martial arts to keep him feeling centered. He aims to regain control over his life and live for himself over anyone else, so that he won't be dragged down the same paths as before ever again.

Universe: Kelkov hails from Zeta, a pocket universe containing only a single galaxy with a smattering of planets, including Mundus, his home world. Zeta is ruled by a single Creator and features copious use of magic by nearly every species that calls it home. Mundus's technology level in particular ranges from medieval peasant village to modern-day city, with Kelkov's current residence being comparable to an urban American city on Earth.

Other: Though Kelkov's magic use is restricted in this new, unfamiliar dimension, in Zeta he is an accomplished dark mage, able to generate and command dark energy. The stuff is dark purple and searing hot to the touch, but the heat doesn't travel far into the air; it has obvious uses in combat but more mundane utility as well, mostly blocking out light. Kelkov also wields something called "neutral energy," which is clear, has some surface tension to it, and is mostly harmless on its own; it can be formed into all sorts of shapes for indirect use. Kelkov doesn't have much control over this magic, however, even in his own world.

Name: Sqyd Cephalok
Age: His species does not truly age. He is merely considered "mature", meaning he is an adult.
Gender: The equivalent of what would be a mixture of male and female human genders.
Appearance:
images

Personality: Sqyd is always out for himself. He is smart, ruthless, and considered by many in his home to be a desperado of sorts. He does not like submitting to anyone else's rules, although he is intelligent enough to know when to play it safe and when to stand up to defend his honor. Above all else, his own life is most important. He cares only for others if he has the potential to benefit from doing so.
History: Sqyd is from the planet Quillonia, which is made up of 90% water. The land that is there is very hotly contested, and there is constant warring between separate factions on the planet, such as the Church of the Holy Tentacle, the Quillonian Republic, and the Confederacy of Free Quillonians. The history of Quillonia is one of violence, and poor people such as those of Sqyd's village are always caught up in the middle. So it was one warm summer night when Sqyd's ramshackle shanty town was caught in the crossfire of a vicious conflict between two factions. The fighting was fierce, and while no one was directly targeting civilians, dozens died in the fighting, including Sqyd's father. Sqyd was now the plu-buoshka, or breadwinner of his family, a role that is very important in Quillonian society. He was barely mature at the time, and was forced to find a way to supply for his two mothers and twenty younger siblings (Quillonians are known for their polygamy and siring of many children). Sqyd left the village and enlisted in an army. He doesn't remember which one. But he fought for three years, sending all the money he earned back to his family. He returned after his tour of duty to find that his loved ones were still starving, and were about to have to move in order to find work and food. Sqyd then took matters into his own hands, and began working as a mercenary to bring in enough money to pay for his family's way of life. After working at this job for years, Sqyd's family was murdered brutally by a band of wandering cutthroats who sought revenge on Sqyd for his slaying of their father. Sqyd was tossed deep into the ocean of depression, and spent the next twenty years hunting those murderers and continuing his quest for money to fill the void left by his family. While hunting his murderers within the ancient ruins of a long forgotten cult, Sqyd stumbled across an object. A black stone with green runes upon it that glowed a sickly green. A stone that called to him. One that he touched...
Species: Quillonian.
Time Period, Universe, etc: The Black Sea is what the Quillonians refer to space as. They are far back in the space race due to all their resources being wasted on petty wars, and thus very few Quillonians have ever left their home world. It is a vibrant universe full of life and wonder. But the Quillonians wouldn't know that. Sqyd himself has never left his home world. Until now.
Other: Sqyd, as are all Quillonians, is capable of minor telekinesis. He can move objects, push people, and float things all with his mind.

MORE INFO:

The Null Dimension is constantly at risk. The energy within the black hole in which it resides is always threatening to tear it apart, while on top of that, dangerous outsiders and the wretched darkness on the fringes of the city are always in the backs of people's minds. Thus, the Null Dimension is protected by CAESAR units and a militia of inhabitants that are organized by the Council of the Wizened. The CAESAR units are constructed from the magic of the Chaplain, while the Null Militia is made up of every day citizens who are trained to use ancient and deadly weaponry.

CAESAR units:

Null Militia:

The Council of the Wizened is a collection of intelligent minds from throughout countless universes and timelines, all gathered by the Chaplain for the sake of governing his utopia perfectly. They have had an endless eternity to sharpen their mental faculties and even train in combat. As weak as they may seem, they are not to be trifled with. Notable members of the Council of the Wizened are: Socrates, Leonardo Da Vinci, N'skra of Zulguth, Sorith Umbala, Zalacious Illbar, and Woo.

The Chaplain is the enigmatic leader of the Null Dimension. He presides over the Council of the Wizened, and is the only individual capable of using magic within the Null Dimension. It is unclear how he is able to do so. He does not share secrets with anyone, and rarely appears outside his massive observatory, which resides on a hill overlooking the city. He is able to twist the boundaries of time and space and is regarded by many of the Council itself to be a potential threat to the fabric of existence itself. He appears to be benevolent, or at least well meaning, as he has created a haven for the greatest minds of all time to congregate and live forever, crafting an afterlife of sorts. His intentions are unknown. And that is what makes him so sinister.

The Chaplain:

~Jet~
Subject PO-001994

<~~~<★>~~~>

no-lightbox

| Experimental "Were-Panther"
| F | 24 years | 17' L / 856lbs
| Eyes: Yellow | Colour: Black

Jet is a gigantic black panther with bright yellow eyes, huge teeth, and massive paws. She is bigger than the largest recorded great cat: the male Amur tiger. Despite her enormous size, she is very fast and has exceptional reaction times. She seems to be stuck in this form as she traverses the world of the Chaplain, although this may be apt to change later on. She growls and roars and yowls like a great cat would, but she may still 'speak' with others via supernatural Communing; a form of spiritual telepathy.

Personalilty:

Playful - Huggable and adoring yet can tease to the point of borderline bullying.
Aggressive - Quick to attack yet always willing to fiercely protect..
Loyal - Will keep her word, never betray and follow orders like a good little soldier yet loyal to herself first and foremost.
Up-keeps Appearances - always clean and well groomed, yet sometimes pushes her grooming standards upon others too often.
Combat Intellect - Takes training seriously and knows routines, drills and procedures and can dish out much punishment but depends on others for guidance to 'fine-tune' her social peculiarities and awkward interactions.

-Likes-
Praise, Affection and warmth, Playing, Teasing, Physical combat, Physical training, Cats, Treats, Climbing, Swimming, Getting groomed, Night time.

-Dislikes-
Disorder and sloppiness, Frailty (physical), Dogs, Fire, Being called: "Kitty," being woken up from her little naps, large parties or gatherings (10+ individuals), deeper than superficial interactions without a 'buddy' with her.

Time Period: Alternate Earth in 2068

On this earth, almost a decade has passed and yet still there is no clear cut victor. One thing is for certain, however, the humans are losing. There was no great alien invasion, there was no god of any kind wreaking a 'reckoning' upon human kind. No, it was the rise of the Bestiathropes and the Hemophages and the eternal struggle between them that pushed humankind off its high horse and conqueror's throne.

The two warring factions have been rivals for millenia and they are better known as the Werewolves and the Vampires. Yet for all the literature and media that had been circulating and passed down to generation after generation, there were truths about the creatures from folklore and campfire tales. Weaknesses and strengths did hold some truths as well, however, one truth remained apex above all else; you could kill either by chopping their damned head off.

But alas, these two combatants had been preparing for this war to come to the light and out of the shadows for a very, very, very, very, very looooooong time now and very vigilant were they to make sure that when the time was right, they would be able to usurp the throne from humankind and keep their heads upon their shoulders.

Nearly 10 years ago, they came out from the war in their shadows. And nearly 10 years later, humankind serves as either the lowly cattle for the blood-drinking Phages, or as pilots or chauffers and general labourers or cleaners for the massive pawed Bestials.

The time is coming for the war to end. In 5 short years, the Blood Red Moon will rise and it will be high time that a victor be declared. For upon this day, the moon may be eternal and grant the Bestials the power to forever rid themselves of their arch-enemies and the sun may never shine again and grant the Phages the unlimited time to rid themselves of their arch-enemies once and for all.

The year is now 2068 and humanity will not make it into the next millenia. But their offshoot offspring, their experiments, will forever carry their seeds to continue their lineages and never be forgotten.

The Shamans and the Shifters are their legacies now and may they never die.

History

no-lightbox
Jet was one of a batch of experimental Shifter 'great cats' that were used in the war against the Bestials and the Phages. She was born into captivity and in captivity she thrived. Out of a batch of 40 only 22 succeeded and passed the grade as 'usable stock.'

She was one of the more successful of the Pantheris and actually rose to become second in command of her troop; the Disruption. Their role was more along the lines of shadow warfare. They were the spies, sabateurs and assassins. Her group of 10 'great cats' were instrumental in taking out the West Coast military powerhouse base of the Bestials and instrumental in freeing a major homo-sapien blood farming Phage operation.

These last ditch experiments allowed many human establishments across the globe to turn the tide versus their hated enemies. The experiments were 'turn-resistant' and superior ones like the Disruption were 'turn-proof.' These superior ones were known as the Apex Shifers and their sheer physicality and ferocity complemented greatly the Shamans and the Shamans' spiritual and supernatural superiority. The Apex Shifters were also not slave to the moon like the Bestials and not powerless against the sun like Phages. Nor did they have deadly allergies to silver nor did they have deadly allergies to garlic. They did however have their bouts of rage and they too had a need for homo-sapien blood in their diet to function properly.

And because of these two weaknesses, and, even though they were now turning the tide versus their enemies, their homo-sapien creators found a need to have a back-up plan. Call it a contingency plan. They decided that if they were to win this war then between the Shifters and the Shamans, they would choose the Shamans. For it was these superior types were the most 'human' amongst their allies. And so was the project 'Antidote For Humanity' created. And so was the 'detriment' created.

This 'detriment' was an insta-kill weaponized ritual that enchanted a weapon that would slay a Shifter in one fell swing. The Shifters in Canada found out about it and much unrest and even pockets of open and willful protest arose across the country of the True North Strong Unfreed. But that was nothing in comparison to what was to come.

The enemies of the Project Antidote found a way to infiltrate and capture major players of the weponized ritual. And so into the hands of the Phages now was part of the means to slay their new uprising enemies. After some time, and in secret, an uneasy alliance befell the Bestials and the Phages. And so the other part of the formula was found; Bestial soul.

And after some time, they manufactured their own Antidote, and so were the Apex Shifters murdered in droves. And once more were the homo-sapiens the victim of their own hubirs; their own weapon would shoot them in the foot and once more the Bestials and the Phages would reign undeterred once more.

But the Disruption was still alive. And they had one last ditch effort to end their enemies version of Project Antidote.

Into the fortress did they go. And into the jaws of sheer desperation did they find themselves. Out of a team of amalgamated groups: great cats, great canines, great antlers, great raptors and great reptilia, a super group of more than 50, only 7 were alive to see it to the end. And in the depths of the fortress and just a heartbeat beyond 'The Veil' they found the source of the weaponized ritual.

She was but a child. A child yes, but this seven-year old was the umderlying source of the Apex Shifters utter doom. This was the turning point they were looking for. Jet's eyes were lowered when the sacrificial dagger found its way into the child's heart. The darkness of their act drew midnight hued curtains over her eyes.

And when she opened her yellow eyes once more, she was no longer in Canada. In fact, she was no longer on Earth 2068 any longer.

Other:

Jet is an accomplished soldier that is exceptioinally skilled in all three forms. She is a soldier trained for espionage, sabatoge and ourright murder. She has knowledge of multiple disciplines of martial arts and weapon combat training. She is a gigantic panther with surprising fighting prowess and is just a out and out murder beast and she may hide up to two medium sized weapons in this form; this is her spiritual vessel form and has to travel into the Spiritual Realm to change her form and collect the two items. In her hybrid form however, she truly is the Apex Shifter. Jet is 8 feet tall In this form and she is undeniably and superhumanly strong, fast, everlasting and durable.

In this form, she has the Shamanic Gift of Foresight; she is able to see things happen up to 13 seconds into the future and react and act before things happen. She must concentrate for at least 3 seconds doing nothing other than Commune but once she 'sees' what to do, she is liquid lighting in her movements and decisions. She also has a form of 'Spiritual Morse Code' called Great Cat Speak, whereby she may tap her fingers and into the Spirtual Realm goes her message and across continental distances will her message carry. But the recipient must have a proper ritual imbued upon them to receive the message. And in fact, those experienced enough may have permission to send a message back to Jet.

In all forms, she may see into the dark, has very fast healing and recovery, lightning quick reflexes and has exceptional senses, and she also has a form of telepathy due to her ability to Commune and may 'speak' with any sentient creature within her eyesight. But it is only in her 6 foot tall, homo-sapien form that she may enact spiritual rituals proper. Her rituals include; Communing with spirits, Enacting Favours and Fetish, Spiritual Aid/Attacks, Supernatural Knowledge and Bargaining.

Full Name

Ansaris Nestrum Salester Euna Laven Llockaryd Edgario Cordellum.

Nicknames

Eddie, Ansaris, Anselle.

Alias

Synergist.

Occupation

Runecaster Apprentice, Avatar of The Synergy Force.

Alignment

Chaotic Good.

Gender

While the concept of gender is less rigid on Urma than on others, Anselle presents himself as masculine.

Age

19 solar cycles.

Homeworld

Urma.

Species

Ovis Magus, more commonly known as Urmanians.

 • A peaceful people, the inhabitants of Urma have evolved from ovis aries, rather known as sheep through the universe. With their planet a living and powerful generator of mana, Urmanians have adapted through the generations and become capable of harnessing the energies of their planet. Urmanians have the unique ability to conduct and utilize energies they come in contact with, the most common usage of this ability is their gift of magic they cast through their horns. And, in the cases of those without horns, the very same is possible for them through other extremities. It seems horns are useful, but not necessary for the practice of magic, as the entire body of Uramanians channel mana efficiently.

 • Urmanians are a nocturnal people, the placement of their planet in their solar system has them far away from the sun, casting the planet into long periods of darkness. As a result of living in the dark, Urmanians have evolved to see in the dark.

 • Several different variations of Urmanaians exist, much like the many kinds of sheep breeds.

 • Planet Status: Active, population estimated to be above 12 billion.

 • Geography: Urma is a massive, terrestrial planet that's surface is home to unique vegetation and fauna due to the planet's generation of a potent magical essence. Fauna on Urma, unlike most planets through the universe, are not like animals, but rather physical manifestations of the planet's energy. Abstract, ethereal and docile, the fauna are revered by the people of Urma.

 • Time Period: Urma, by the people's own account, is currently in the modern age.

Appearance

A young Urmanian lad just coming into his adulthood, Anselle is a hardy and strapping figure, grown both parts muscular and fatty as is common for his breed. His diet, along with the training required in his apprenticeship, has honed Anselle's strength to it's peak with a brawny frame to match. Though Anselle weighs more than 200+ pounds, his actual height is a few inches scant of five feet, causing him to be stocky and rather compact.

Anselle is a Urmanian that resembles a Jacob sheep in appearance, possessing piebald and polycerate traits. Face free from wool, but covered in a finer, hair-like growth, Anselle's features are humanoid to an extent; his head slopes forward in the shape of that of a badgers, yet is round in shape. With perky lips, a ruggedly handsome profile, and a rectangular, copper gaze, Anselle is something of a looker. On top of that, Anselle's breed is known for their remarkable horns, and Anselle is no exception.

Possessing six ebony horns, Anselle has a habit of sticking out from them along. Unlike most Urmanians with horns like his, Anselle's are all attached to his skull, making him a rare example of a six-horned Urmanian. His uppermost horns grow upward with a slight backwards bent and are the longest set, his middle pair grows in a spiral away from his face, and his lowermost grow downward but go away from his neck.

Anselle's face is split between black and white, his eyes, mouth and cheeks all black while his nose and everything above it is white. Usually a sign of age among his people, Anselle has already begun to prematurely gray, most prominently in the hair of his cheeks. V
oluminous and falling around him in a woolly cloud, Anselle's hair is nearly as long as he is tall, only the curliness of the mass saving it from touching the ground. Like all of the hair on him, Anselle's hair is black and white, a pattern of spots throughout it. To combat it's vastness, Anselle has taken to braiding his hair and tucking it into his clothes to get it out of his way.

Anselle's spine ends in a tail, a short, streaked one he typically keeps in his clothes. Anselle's hands have five digits on each, however his feet only have four. Despite this, both have rough, thicker nails.

Clothes

Anselle is the proud apprentice to the ranks of naturalist mages, and as is the custom of the practitioners, wears the garbs of one. The outfit consists of two parts.

The base layer is a simple undergarment that provides thermal protection to the wearer, and given the chilly location of the mages, it's essential to functioning outdoors. A
light tunic is wore on the upper body, covering one from the neck down, the sleeves reaching and covering the hands. The tunic is form fitting and enchanted for regulating body temperature, ensuring the comfort of the wearer. For the lower half, the same is worn; a long pair of pants that covers the feet.

The second layer is more decorative and showy, as seen in Anselle's case. Wearing
gloves with the same regulating enchantment, a thick scarf is found around his neck, a silken tie around his waist and now in proper pants. Boots are given to mages for their treks through the snow, and Anselle is rarely seen without them.

As the current host of the Synergy Force, Anselle can transform his clothes into his uniform at will. While he doesn't have to assume the uniform of Synergist to use his powers, it usually happens without Anselle's control due to his inexperience with it.

As Synergist, Anselle dons a metallic helmet that covers his horns in a layer of protective mana, his face is hidden by the opaque shield that completes the helmet. Anselle usually keeps his face hidden to protect his identity as Synergist, but shows the ability to will it, and the helmet, away. His hair spills out behind him with the helmet on, and despite being exposed, it seems the same mana protecting his horns is also focused on his hair.

From the shoulders down, Anselle wears a shortened, multi layered cloak similar to that of his regular clothes, though the color is that of a
plum than the blues he's used to. Arms and torso covered in the same, violet bodysuit, Anselle's forearms are equipped with gauntlets he uses to - well, punch. His hands are often out and his gauntlets unused, as he not the most confrontational person.
Bodysuit leading to reliable leggings, Anselle's suit is complete with his best imitation of his usual boots.

Since appearing in the Null Dimension, Anselle has been unable to access his Synergist form.

Personality

There was a time when Anselle was a quiet, reserved soul, knowing when to keep his silence and when to obey his elders. As it turned out, that was most of the time, and bit by bit, Anselle found himself with less to say when it was his time to speak. His teachers were effective, but impersonal. Like their elders before them, they were taught that one's greatest connection was with the planet, not in the lives of others. Anselle, however, wanted something he didn't have the words for.

He felt like that for a long time, and then one day, he didn't. He felt eager, and different. His elders were concerned, of course, but he kept his secrets under wraps.

Nowadays, Anselle is a ceaselessly curious lad, tactile and passionate about things other than his studies. As he's realized, he craves adventure. In the icy heart of Urma, the thought of exploration and discovery lights a fire in him that cannot be snuffed out, no matter what his elders advise against. He's become a rebel, though one who rebels against the smaller things, staying below the senses of his teachers. There used to be a time where Anselle would never think about disobeying, now the thought rivets him. It's become exciting, the adrenaline of not listening, of doing what he wants.

Courageous to a fault, Anselle often throws himself into situations not without forethought, but with unshakable confidence in his ability to help. Pride not a sin to tack onto someone like Anselle, his want to help can sometimes lead him astray.
Powers and Abilities

As an Urmanian, Anselle has the innate ability to channel energy into his body and manipulate it. As a native to Urma and an apprentice Runecaster, Anselle possesses a form of magic that involves the harnessing and usage of the planet's energy in the form of runes. Anselle is skilled in the creation and use of runes, though his talent seems to lie in elemental runes. When it comes to the art of Runecasting, Anselle is a prodigy at it, but lacks combat training to put his skills to use in a fight. However, Anselle is a defensive wonder with his runes.
Spellcasting

Anselle can achieve common feats of magic easily, his multitude of horns allowing for greater than average channeling of mana. Anselle is well versed in a number of mundane magicks, such as minor telekinesis to move small objects, photomancy to illuminate dark areas, and fire-based magick meant for keeping warm. When performing magic, Anselle's horns produce a purple glow.

Synergy Force

An sentient, extra-dimensional presence, The Synergy Force is a primordial entity that represents unity through the cosmos. It's existence acts as the force that keeps the very universe together, it's power the source of cosmic union.

For eons, it has found hosts to bestow it's power and the heroic mantle of Synergist upon. Anselle is the latest in a long line of it's wielders, though he might just be the most inexperienced. For the moment, what Anselle is capable of is-
Synthesis

A main component of just what the Synergy Force is capable of, Anselle can extend his influence over something's oneness, allowing him to separate, combine, or infuse foreign energy and matter. At the time, Anselle's influence spreads through touch, requiring him to be in physical contact with whatever he wishes to manipulate. Inorganic material is easier for him to channel his power through than living beings, his potency on people might be hindered by his own desire not to hurt someone.
Energy Harnessing

By exerting the Synergy Force in an unrefined state, Anselle can wield the energy in a quicker, albeit more unpredictable, fashion. Through channeling the energy, Anselle can release blasts that can trigger spontaneous fusion or fission with what comes in contact with it. Much like his magic, this energy manifests as a purple glow.
Sync

Through channeling the Synergy Force into other lifeforms, Anselle can share his power and boost the abilities of whoever he's touching. This is done by literally making a bond between himself and his target, power passing through them in a loop that is only broken by Anselle. If not Anselle, distance; the further he gets away from his target, the less power is shared through their link.

History

Having decided to pursue the gift of knowledge and the art of magick early in his youth, Anselle worked tirelessly to hone his abilities in hopes of one day joining the ranks of the Runecasters. To Anselle, they were everything he wanted to be; calm, wizened, and so cool. They were the talk of the town whenever they came through, and there was something about that respect that always spoke to him. But they were elite, and picky, from what he'd heard. To become one of them was an honor, and there was nothing Anselle wanted more than to call himself one.

He worked hard, there was nothing other than putting himself against the grind to be better. For years, Ansell learned and waited.

Continuing to prove himself to his elders, Anselle's dreams eventually came true when he was
approached by an elder Runecaster with the offer of apprenticeship. Accepting immediately, Anselle quickly threw himself into the teachings of the elders. As he found out, that was the only thing he could afford to do. Studying, practicing, studying, practicing. It was a routine he'd known for years, the only difference was the weight of the Runecasters' exceptions on him. It - wasn't fun.

It was boring. Terribly so. The elders were stern and humorless, only focusing on their own studies and findings to amuse his own antics. He was growing cold, and worse, isolated. His town had been close-knit, and the elders were the exact opposite of that. There was no walking away from them, from his commitment, he could only continue on.

Within him, Anselle longed for something more. He'd spent so long wanting to be apart of the Runecasters, and it wasn't at all what he wanted. Anselle wanted to put his knowledge to use, to do something.

He meditated on it. It, like the many other practices he'd learn, helped when his mind was unclear, his heart uncertain. In his trance, Anselle could feel the world around him, enormous and alive. It put everything into perspective, including his own issues. Going deeper into his trance, Anselle felt his spirit truly free itself, feeling nothing but the world and it's power.

Unbeknownst to Anselle, he was not alone in his trance. As Anselle emptied his mind, something found him. A presence, powerful and feeling fathomless, entered him. Darkness of his mind falling away to reveal a magnificent realm of color, Anselle became aware of the presence and demanded it's name. Presence introducing itself as the Synergy Force, it informed Anselle of it's previous host's death and, as it'd done for millennia, had found a host in Anselle. Confusion turning to shock, Anselle explained that he wasn't qualified to host the presence, it, however, disagreed.

Before he could dispute the entity's wish, Anselle awoke and was transformed. He could feel the presence even closer now, in the very suit that had manifested around him. He was reborn in the feeling of power, and he was the Synergist.

Returning to his elders once he found out how to change back, Anselle kept his contact with the presence a secret from his teachers. Anselle had never heard of such a force, and taking the chance of bringing it up to his elders was a risk he wasn't willing to take. This was just something he had to figure out himself.
How hard could it be?
