Dimensional Clash (OOC)

    Welcome to Dimensional Clash. The Powers that Be have lifted multitudes of characters from their home universes to do battle in settings most likely unfamiliar. Some of these champions may be the paradigms of good, law, and order, some may be the dregs of the society, the foulest, most heinous beings to stalk the Omniverse, and yet others are the on-the-fence epitome of neutrality. The rewards for finishing a Dimensional Clash alive: power, glory, and possibly even a new universe to rule.

    But be warned, as the most grueling challenges await the champions chosen to participate. And they reek of the forces of chaos...




    The Technicalities:
    In this RP, you play as ANY character from ANY universe. Let's say we have Darth Vader. Now, for example, Vader might be in the Death Star one minute, and the next, he finds himself in the middle of Soviet Russia, along with other characters who have been lifted from their worlds as well. The location, however, will change every so often to keep things fresh, but a portal to the previous world will exist as well. So let's say Vader is done fighting in Russia and is dumped into America during the Great Depression. Anybody will still be able to go back to the Soviet Union via portal (why they would willingly do so is beyond me). You can offer suggestions of universes to go to, but the next location will be kept a secret.
    Really, this is all a sandbox; however, there is an overarching story to go along with it.

    -RP basics (no godmodding, metagaming, etc. UNLESS YOUR CHARACTER CAN DO SO)
    -Any character from any universe is fair game. Even real historical figures.
    -No autohits, instakills, no-sells
    -Try to use proper grammar and spelling.
    -Try for at least a couple paragraphs per post. I can tell if you didn't try.
    -There's no set character limit, but make sure you keep track of 'em.
    -Try not to alter your character's personality too much right off the bat (that means don't make Tinky-Winky the Teletubby a sadist without any explainable character development).
    -Please keep it PG-13. I know, it's difficult, but try your hardest.
    -If you want to kill off someone else's character, you'll have to ask them first.
    -If you're going to use real people, make sure that they are at least famous (or infamous) enough to be on Wikipedia.
    -NPCs can be controlled by the players, but don't kill major characters immediately, that takes away the fun and breaks the above rule against instakills.
    -You're gone for a week, people can play as your characters. However, they have to return them to you if you come back, and tell you what they did with them.
    -I will be implementing a three-strikes policy with these rules. Three strikes, you're out, just like baseball.
    -Being a mod does not mean you can break these rules with impunity. The other mods will be watching. Always watching.

Zinnia herself is very agile, as well as cunning (shown by her willingness to infiltrate Team Aqua/Magma and awaken the Primal Reversions to summon Rayquaza). Her Whismur, Aster, is uncharacteristically swift, as it can deftly relieve people of their Key Stones, leaving them spinning.

    Bio: Zinnia is one of the Draconids, a group of people who revere the mighty Rayquaza for its feats of saving humanity from absolute destruction. As the current Lorekeeper, Zinnia has been designated to protect the history of Mega Evolution and maintains the ability to summon Rayquaza from its domain in the sky (as needed). Zinnia has advanced knowledge of alternate realities, and thinks in terms of all universes, as shown when she destroys the Devon Corporation's Link Cable to prevent the Devon Corporation from using it to teleport an incoming asteroid to an alternate Hoenn region where the technology never developed to a point where it could stop the asteroid from striking.

    Zinnia has a bewildering personality, taking a light tone towards serious matters (such as the crisis in Hoenn). A Draconid ideologue, Zinnia believes in finding the best way to help not just one reality, but the alternate realities also put into peril by a crisis. As a result, she takes to (seemingly) unorthodox methods of averting crises such as the Hoenn meteor, including swiping people's Key Stones. Zinnia, as Lorekeeper, knows about the history of Mega Evolution and holds a Key Stone herself to Mega Evolve her Salamence.

    Zinnia's Whismur, Aster, is named after a friend Zinnia had lost a while ago.

    Name: Ryūko Matoi

    Abilities: Her living sailor uniform (Kamui), Senketsu, can transform into a battle suit that allows for greater mobility and grants Ryuko enhanced strength and speed, through a process called Life Fiber Synchronization. Senketsu can also shift into a bladed form and a jet form, as well as a combination of those two forms; those are the two main form changes, but Ryuko and Senketsu are very adaptable in different situations.

    Ryuko wields one half of a large scissor blade meant to sever Life Fibers and negate the powers they grant the wearer. She is adept at swordplay using this scissor blade and can compact it into a normal tailor-sized blade. The blade can shift into a finishing-blow form called "decapitation mode."
    Bio: When her father's killer dashed away before her eyes, 17-year-old Ryuko Matoi swore revenge on the woman who impaled her dear pops. Her search for her father's murderer led her to the ironclad Honnouji Academy, a militaristic high school with an organized, authoritarian class structure, led by five student council members including council president Satsuki Kiryuin. Ryuko believes at least that Satsuki knows the details behind the death of Isshin Matoi, but before she can squeeze the answers out of Satsuki, Ryuko gets beaten down by the Boxing Club president and scurries to her ruined home, where she meets the Kamui, Senketsu.

    Ryuko finds refuge in the slums of Honnou Town with the Makanshoku family, the family of her best (and only [human]) friend Mako. Ryuko is determined to find the reason for her dad's murder, and won't stop aiming for Satsuki until she does.

    A hot-headed girl, Ryuko remains set on DEFCON 1 90% of the time. She has a history of delinquency and an accompanying mean streak; combined, those things make up Ryuko's attitude, which helps her survive in a dystopian Japan. Ryuko prefers to maintain an unpredictable nature, especially in fighting, but she will stand up for those she cares for, such as her deceased father or her friend Mako. And, of course, she's BFF's with her Kamui and is the only person who can hear Senketsu's voice.

    Abilities: Fast, light, and surprisingly strong, able to pick up enemies three times his size and then toss them like pebbles. Toad has access to Mario's entire library of items, since he owns the manufacturing facilities (Toad's Factory, Mario Kart Wii) as well as the distribution centers (Toad Houses). Toad's head is also very sproingy. However, Toad has a hampered jumping ability and is unable to jump at all if too much weight is pressed upon his back, like from a backpack or something. Toad has also been shown to blast spores as self-defense.
    Bio: From the conception of the kingdom, the highest-ranking Toads of society would serve under the ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom as Mushroom Retainers, attending to the castle's needs and the land's politics. (Recently, under some governmental reforms under the Peach administration, Toads from other levels of society have been placed as Mushroom Retainers to better represent the citizenry as a whole.) This Toad in particular serves as Princess Peach's right-hand 'shroom (as opposed to Toadsworth, Peach's caretaker). Toad had accompanied the princess and the Mario Brothers on many adventures, including the adventures in the dream world Subcon, the fairy-ruled Sprixie Kingdom, and even in the depths of Wario's Woods (overtaken by the fat man's monster army). In addition, Toad is an adept kart racer, preferring vehicles that zip from 0 to 60 in a snap.

    Toad, while he may have a (rather large) cowardly side, continues to aid Mario and company across space, time, and dimensions; you gotta give the bugger some credit. He's willing to help find Power Stars and track treasure, while helping Peach and Mario with their problems.

    Abilities: Owns a utility bucket which holds various objects within, including a pen light, a slingshot with marbles, a Swiss Army knife, a nylon rope, and many others. Her experiences in the circus made her agile and athletic. Kate also owns a peregrine falcon named Madge (Her Majesty the Queen).
    Bio: Kate Wetherall's childhood was spent at the circus. She performed alongside circus strongmen, lion tamers, and other carnies. However, the exciting part of her life really began when she joined the Mysterious Benedict Society after being selected in a series of tests. She and her friends saved the world from Mr. Curtain's Whisperer, which the man used in his plan to create an amnesia epidemic and force all of the world's governments to depend on him.

    Kate is very prideful, almost to the point of arrogance, but she is kind to everyone and almost always cheerful. She can be counted on to be the light at the end of the tunnel, the cloud's silver lining. However, her personality also gives her a few enemies, such as Martina Crowe, one of Mr. Curtain's Executives. Her pride had also gotten her into trouble in an elevator shaft, when she was forced to swim in shark-infested waters after almost being spotted by Mr. Curtain's Recruiters.

    Abilities: Gravity manipulation: manipulating the unseen mass to alter the force of gravity. Derivative powers include levitation (of herself and others), gravitational fields (using gravity to protect herself or others), and pretty much launching stuff in general. Rosalina can also do the Star Spin, which uses an inverted gravity field to rapidly spin the body while creating lift.
    Bio: Rosalina is the watcher of the stars of the Mario universe, viewed as a matron and a protecting figure by the star children, the Lumas (though the usage of Lumas as suicide bombers in Smash Bros. is questionable; that's not exactly canon). Rosalina aids Mario in his quest to rescue Peach (and save the entire freakin’ universe from Bowser) by providing him sanctuary on her Comet Observatory. She can hold her own however; in Super Mario 3D World, she joins Mario and company after Bowser’s defeat, revealing her platforming prowess.

    Rosalina’s solemnity (discounting the whooping during kart races) defines her character and her troubled past; however, she actively protects her family and expresses a parental kindness toward those who she cares about.

    Bio: Who doesn't know good old Mario? Mario is the hero of the mushroom kingdom, the light in the dark of Bowser's iron fist. His one goal is to protect Princess Peach from the evil Bowser, and, in extension, the Mushroom Kingdom. Actually, he's the one who you call if your pad's in trouble, be it Pi'illo Island or the Beanbean Kingdom, or even the entire Mario multiverse. Teamed up with his bro Luigi, they form an unstoppable duo, and both will stop at nothing to protect the Mushroom Kingdom.

    Abilities: He's a train, so he could pull several tons of freight at a high speed. Trains have a natural tendency to have the right of way. As an anthropomorphic Toon train, Casey is also able to use his front wheels and pistons as limbs. Toon physics also apply to Casey.
    Bio: Casey Jr. the Circus Train began his life as a humble 2-4-0 passenger engine with a front rod arrangement. Casey tried to jump a gap during a thunderstorm and suffered a painful crash (he took it rather well, seeing that he was mildly annoyed rather than devastated). He was repaired, this time with a rear rod arrangement and put to work as the circus train, as seen in Dumbo. Casey very much enjoys pulling the circus train, and makes sure to arrive on the circus grounds on time for the show. Casey is shown to be just as persistent as any little engine who thinks he/she could. He can pull the circus through rain and shine, and up the highest slopes. Casey is also shown to have friendly relationships with Mickey and pals.

    Size of group: As many as there are fallen soldiers in battle, as such, they are of an infinite supply. They also own undead horses, pegasi, dragons, and gryphons.
    Description/Picture: [​IMG] Pretty much any fallen/badly wounded unit in this RP can become a Risen. The common motif is glowing red eyes and the exhalation of smoke. Risen are led by Risen Chiefs, who generally look like this:

    Abilities/Equipment: Everything the Risen had in life, they have in death.
    History: The Risen are the loyal servants of Grima sent to the past to assure Grima's rise. They generally show little to no intelligence except in battle and in their orders. Throughout Chrom's quest through the Fire Emblem world, the Risen have plagued the Shepherds and all that they come across, attacking forts, villages, and even a holy sanctuary.

    History: The Decepticons are one of two factions that fought the Cybertronian Civil War. Led by Megatron, the Decepticons aim to control Cybertron and gain resources. Megatron's only the leader because he's (technically) the strongest. It's a hierarchy based on strength. The problem is that the Decepticons all think they're the strongest, so...

    History: The Subspace Army is an evil organization made up of formless beings in the Subspace Emissary of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. They are the main antagonists, led by the mysterious character, the Ancient Minister. It is later revealed that the Ancient Minister was forced to lead the army by Ganondorf, Bowser and Wario. The trio were the ones truly controlling the army and did so under the orders of Master Hand. Master Hand is later revealed to be controlled by Tabuu, the true leader of the army. The Subspace Army's main troops are a group of small shadow beings, known as Primids. Their goal was to pull the entire world into Subspace, thus, destroying it. They hoped to accomplish this by using a powerful and deadly weapon known as the Subspace Bomb. The army is also in command of a large assortment of weapons and doomsday devices such as the Subspace Gunship, a flying fortress that could trap entire areas in subspace without the use of the Subspace Bomb. Petey Piranha, Porky, Ridley, his Meta form, and Bowser's Koopa Troop are also members of the Subspace army. The creatures in the Subspace Army were created from Shadow Bugs, which originated from Mr. Game & Watch. The army also has in their possession a weapon known as the Dark Cannon, used by both Bowser and Wario to turn other characters into trophies.

    Abilities/Equipment: Varies. Heartless have a myriad of unique, and very dangerous, abilities.
    History: The Heartless are twisted creatures created from hearts that have been separated from their bodies. Particularly strong Heartless are formed from those who have strong hearts, such as Sora, whose Heartless became Sora's Heartless. Heartless are devoid of emotion. Throughout the Kingdom Hearts series of video games, the Heartless have been sent by the villains to infest many of the Disney worlds, in order for Ansem, Seeker of Darkness to take Kingdom Hearts.
    There are two types of Heartless: pureblood and emblem. Purebloods are made from the essence of the heart itself, while emblems are made by tying the heart to a body.
    The Heartless seek to devour the hearts of worlds, thus plunging them into darkness.

    History: The Koopa Troop are the loyal servants of King Bowser Koopa, and have aided him in destroying Mario since Mario first set foot into the Mushroom Kingdom. Goombas, Koopas, and the like all try to defeat the plumber, and as time went on, Bowser's ranks expanded to a vast army of Koopa Kingdom denizens.

    Abilities: Dark magic, the most powerful and dangerous form of magic there is. However, because of her seriousness, she lost her Toon physics.
    Bio: Maleficent is the evil fairy from Sleeping Beauty. She is the self-proclaimed "Mistress of All Evil." She hates her good sisters, and attempted to cast a spell upon the child they blessed in order to kill her on her sixteenth birthday. (Some sweet sixteenth for poor Aurora.) When the girl just fell asleep when she pricked her finger on the spinning wheel, Maleficent created a wall of vines to surround the castle and prevent anybody from waking her up. She was defeated by Prince Philip, who threw a sword at her while she was in dragon form. But she has returned...

    Bio: Bowser is the king of the Koopa Kingdom and is always looking to kidnap Princess Peach for no discernible reason (perhaps it may be to kill Mario, or to marry Peach, or both). He also aims to take over the Mushroom Kingdom (you know tyrants, they never stop at what they have). He is a ruthless tyrant who rules his dismal kingdom with an iron fist. His loyal followers (which include, but are not limited to, all varieties of Koopa and Goomba, Bullet Bills, and Shy Guys) are at his beck and call. No matter how many times Mario defeats him, he always returns. Always.

    Universe: Mass Effect
    Abilities: Wielding of pistols, SMGs, shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles and heavy weapons. Computer hacking, decryption. Generation of personal anti-projectile barriers. Reinforcing and refreshing said anti-projectile barriers. Construction of most devices and armors if provided with materials. Creation of turrets and holographic combat and defense drones. Sabotage of machinery and electronics. Overloading of electronics. Launching a ball of Bose-Einstein condensate, which causes snap-freezing in the blast radius.
    Bio: Shepard was born on a small fringe colony. When he was sixteen, a group of alien slavers attacked his world, killing almost everyone and torturing the rest. Shepard, however, managed to survive relatively unharmed until a military patrol rescued him. A few years later, he enrolled. Everything became relatively fine with Shepard until a mission went terribly wrong - while responding to a distress signal on a fringe world, his whole team had gotten apart by a gigantic worm-like creature right in front of Shepard's sight. Once more, Shepard managed to survive until reinforcements arrived... and once again, he was alone. That mission, despite everything, earned him a promotion amongst the ranks... and also opened up an interesting possibility. He became considered for humanity's first Spectre, the galaxy's ultimate justice carriers, themselves being almost beyond laws to get the work done. Unfortunately, on Shepard's evaluation mission (he had been given an observer to assess his skills), once again things went terribly wrong, unearthing a terrible force conspiring to end all life in the galaxy - but he needed help, especially now that his Spectre status had been denied due to the incident. With the help of several allies, he uncovered the truth, and redeemed his place as the elite of the elite. With that status, he earned his ship, and with his newly formed team he embarked on a chase across the galaxy to prevent an apocalypse. It eventually bore fruit - although he had lost a very close friend on the way, they had discovered the key to the invasion - an invasion executed by ancient machines that swore to harvest all organic life - and with the help of the whole galaxy's forces, managed to save society as it was known for the first time. His big quest over, he was put on "clean-up" routine missions to uncover the last remnants of the forces allied with that enemy... until a not-so-routine mission in which his ship got torn to pieces by a ship never seen before, and he died, alone, just to make sure his crew was safe. It was not the end for him either - for there was a radical human group which needed his help, and as such they brought him back to life. The process was not immediate, though - he was still gone for two years, in which everything changed, security having been radically increased everywhere to monitor for threats. Threats of which the galaxy had no idea - his first victory was but one way for the galaxy to be doomed. Under the flag of this new, slightly-less-than-appreciated group, he fought towards eliminating yet another menace - this time much more organic and more directly under the control of the ancient ones. He succeeded - but not before also delaying the invasion by committing a war crime, destroying a whole solar system and it's transport relay. That, of course, bit him in the ass - for after he cut ties with the extremist human group, he went back to Earth to face the music, and was placated by war crime and treason charges. Fortunately, the charges were cleared due to all of the general good he did. Less than fortunately, the process took six months... which was plenty enough for the invasion to arrive anyway. Earth being practically doomed, he was reinstated and ordered to unite the forces of the galaxy together - or what was left of it in face of that unspeakably horrifying enemy, to save everyone. Being who he was, he succeeded, although the price was much too high for his liking. Three more close friends - nay, blood brothers had been lost. And he expected to be the fourth. Bravely, Shepard reached the heart of the enemy's control compound, which used to be the core of the galactic government and which now was the largest harvesting center right above Earth, and managed to destroy the enemy - at an even greater cost, as he lost his best friend, his mentor and one could almost say a fatherly figure, and all interstellar flight now had to be rediscovered as the relics of the ancients exploded in the process, also eradicating countless more allies and friends as the blast of energy spread and destroyed all artificial intelligence indiscriminately.     Kratos possesses incredible superhuman strength and endurance beyond that of any mortal or beast, the exact limits of which are yet to be determined. His strength seems to fluctuate depending on the situation. He can subdue many large and powerful beasts and is capable of overpowering the Hydra, throwing the Colossus of Rhodes after it attempted to crush him beneath its foot, and preventing both Cronos and Atlas from crushing him. Feats of durability include falling from great heights and walking away unharmed, getting crushed, stabbed, beaten, blasted, and burned by various enemies and traps. Kratos also has useful skills that include climbing mountain and building, jumping with great heights, and swinging to another side.
    In his battle against Hercules, who is considered to be unrivaled in terms of sheer strength, Kratos proved capable of stopping his charges, forcing him backwards and enduring his powerful bear hugs without any ill effects, even breaking free from them and defeating him. Kratos also possessed the power of hope to kill immortal gods and it makes him invulnerable to any powerful attack. When Kratos loses in battle or war and is killed, he simply escapes the Underworld to Earth. Kratos can change his fate by manipulating or traveling in time.
    Kratos ripped off Helios' head and ripped Undead Legionnaires, infected humans, monsters, and magical beings in half, using only his bare hands. It is presumed Kratos was born with his god-like strength and abilities due to being Zeus' demigod son. He might also be partially immortal and may have gotten stronger when he absorbed powers from gods. Kratos' form when he became God of War after killing Ares, Kratos stood roughly 500 or more feet tall, and possessed all power of God of War. It is possible he had acquired all the abilities of the other Gods (including sister of fate) and magical beings.
    In addition to his vast strength, he also possesses incredible vast agility, vast stamina, vast durability, vast endurance, vast reflexs and vast speed. He is capable of sensing danger and possesses great skills and accuracy with all forms of weapon and powerful magic . Kratos can also keep up with opponents who posses vast speed, such as Zeus who has the speed of lighting, Charon, Hermes, and Pollux and Castor who possessed Chronokinesis. He is also able to regenerate from most wounds at a fast rate, though he didn't regenerate from the scar on his stomach caused by the Blade of Olympus and the scar over his right eye caused by Ares for reasons unknown (maybe he can't fully regenerate himself from scars caused by gods' power). Due to these abilities, Kratos is able to defeat monsters, magical beings, titans and even the Gods themselves. Kratos also possesses powerful resistance to most forms of attack and magic (ex: time manipulation, illusion, and soul manipulation) that would easily kill most humans or magical beings.
    Before serving Ares, Kratos' main weapon was his sword. Under Ares' rule, Kratos' main weapons became the Blades of Chaos, a gift from Ares as a sign of his servitude. They are essentially two Falchion-like blades on long chains, permanently fused and seared to the wielder's forearms. Once Kratos killed Ares, Athena replaced them with a nearly identical pair of blades called the Blades of Athena, and then replaces them again in God of War III with the very similar Blades of Exile. Kratos displays proficiency with all of his weapons. It's implied that he learned many of his fighting skills from Ares and other gods, the former God of War himself. Initially, Kratos also had a massive Spartan army under his command, used both before and during his servitude under Ares.
    Kratos, before and after becoming a God, gained many powers and weapons from the Gods. When he relinquished his old powers to the Blade of Olympus, he was given new powers by the Titans. Some of these powers resemble the abilities given to him by the Gods. The Blade of Olympus is one of Kratos' greatest weapons, as he has infused all of his godly power into it.

Aside from that, Megatron has a massive amount of strength, and his Cybertronian steel body repels many (lesser beings') attacks. Oh, by the way, he turns into a tank.
    Bio: Before Megatron was the leader of the Decepticons and the catalyst for the century-spanning space chase for the Allspark, he and Optimus Prime watched over Cybertron together, almost as brothers. But thanks to his resentment for Optimus Prime, Megatron reformed the Decepticons and battled the Autobots to the point of annihilating his home planet Cybertron into a crisscrossing mechanical wasteland. Prime jettisoned the Allspark into space to prevent Megatron from getting it and corrupting its life-giving powers with a dark Energon well. The feud between the Autobots and Decepticons, as well as the hunt for the Allspark, has brought Megatron Earthside.

    Megatron may be cruel, manipulative, cunning, bloodthirsty, yadda, yadda, yadda, but he's also extremely ambitious and patriotic, willing to sacrifice others' and his own (but mostly others' [preferably Starscream's]) Sparks for his cause: the restoration of Cybertron. He views organic lifeforms as little more than pests, and thinks little of human beings (even refusing to take an Earth vehicle form until the 3rd movie). Megatron is a skilled tactician; however, his pride and obsession with the Allspark leaves him vulnerable to logistical errors (but those he can blast straight by using his fusion cannon, anyway).

  12. Honestly, I think that we should absolutely not start in an established universe. Last time I was in one of these RPs, it was a custom-made arena in a pocket dimension, with a lobby and everything, which made sense considering that plot-wise it would give no single character a homefield advantage.

    Though if we absolutely have to go with an established universe, I would say Transistor's Cloudbank, Mass Effect's Pinnacle Station or Mass Effect 3's Armax Arena, or League of Legends' Summoner Rift or some other area with huge damage resistance - Hyrule, Mushroom Kingdom and Los Santos would be great and everything, but realistically speaking if I was a trans-dimensional god of battle, I'd aim for an area that's not prone to breaking apart easily, or at least that can be repaired easily instead of an area that would be pretty much annihilated in the event of such a large-scale battle with such characters.

    Bio: Sayaka Miki is a middle school student at Mitakihara Middle School. She made a contract with a strange being called Kyubey to become a magical girl and dedicate her life to defeating powerful being called witches, all to heal a boy whom she loved. Her wish was granted and she was able to watch her beloved play music once again. Everything seemed to fine, all was well but Sayaka didn't count on the boy to fall for a different girl, despite all the happiness she gave to him. Despair filled her soul and eventually corrupted it enough to turn her into a witch. When Madoka Kaname made her contract, she reversed Sayaka's fate as a witch, returning her back to normal, but she remained dead for Madoka respected Sayaka's wish of having the boy keep his ability to play music. She now serves as Madoka's Knight.

She enrolled in Shibusen Academy to pursue her dreams and create a Death Scythe like her mother.

  14. Good point, though the position of war or chaos gods is kind of debatable; if the deities feed on chaos, they may prefer collateral damage and panicking (and dying) citizens. All three times I've been in an RP like this, the players were inclined towards full-scale battle; that being said, I'd like a little bit more freedom of direction for the stories instead of "Hey let's go kill each other!" I'm not saying there isn't going to be fighting (anytime Megatron bursts onto the scene there's probably going to be a huge smackdown), however, so I will pick a large enough location that everything isn't destroyed within three seconds. For instance, the Battle of Waterloo was one of the locations picked in the last Dimensional Clash I was in (you should've seen it, there were Daleks, LEGO Nazis, and Frenchmen everywhere).

    As for the homefield advantage in the first location, I'm going to pick a universe that none of our characters are from, so don't worry about that. :)

  19. Hyrule isn't really THAT large - Death Mountain exploding would be seen everywhere from the Kokiri Forest to the Zora Domain. That's without mentioning that, as far as I could tell, RPs tend to devolve into a chaotic, hard-to-follow mess if there's more than once center of action, which is pretty much going to be a given if stuff already started happening before anyone could even post.
