I call dibs on the ship's psychologist and the person who will have DEEP, POSSIBLY HOMOEROTIC conversations with the ship's AI.

Just need to find me a pic, settle on abilities and I'm done.

A psychologist will be useful if I get to make Hanaclone appear.

It's like having an identical twin sister with your memories and personality!

Lol.

Hmm allright, this is coming along nicely. Just gotta wait for some people to post up or finish their bios here.

I'm leaning towards starting this sometime next week. I don't wanna rush into things here so I think that's best.

Name: Zakiel Zareck (Yeah... not that great with last names... hehe)
Age: 21 years old.
Job/Class: Pilot/Gunner.

History:

Zakiel's hometown was destroyed by Altair Industries' “prototype” Altair, an event that killed his biological parents. A recovery team found the child alive, albeit on the brink of death, and realized that he had been saved by the out-of-control mech.

Motivated by guilt, Zakiel was adopted by the owner of Altair Industries. Not long after it was discovered that the boy was not only able to communicate with the mech's on-board computer, but he was able to pilot it as well.

He was left with the company after his father's death; however, he does not concern too much about it, leaving it in charge of his trusted executives. When the UWG began recruiting people for the exploration, he volunteered himself, along with Altair.

Description:

Zakiel is a good-hearted and honest guy. Although relaxed for the most part, he can become rather reckless if he believes his actions to be correct.

Having trained since an early age, Zakiel has great agility and stamina. He excels in the use of handguns, as well as swords and knives.

His wardrobe consists of boots, cargo pants, and a short-sleeved shirt, all of them color black. He feels it's unnecessary to waste time trying to mix and match clothing.

He stands at 6 feet tall with black hair. While originally brown, due to the strain put into his body from the Apollo Drive, blood began leaking into his irides, changing their original color to a deep red.

Weapons:

Close Combat: A combat knife, resembling a KM2000, developed by him that uses an ultrasonic generator to create ultrasonic vibrations and thus allow it to cut through much denser materials; due to the friction caused by these vibrations, the blade's temperature rises, thus increasing the cutting power.

Long Range: A smartgun (handgun, think Heckler & Koch USP) fitted with a fire-control system that uses a series of electromagnetic coils to accelerate a magnetic bullet to high velocities. The bullets themselves are equipped with sensors that allow it to explode before impact to increase the damage ratio.

Mech:
<style type="text/css"> <!-- @page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --> </style>

Code Name: Altair
Shape: Humanoid
Height: 25 feet
Weight: 14,951 kilograms
Speed: Extremely fast.
Color scheme: The body is mostly white with a red trim and an underlying blue glow.

Origin:

While presented to the outside world as a prototype from Altair Industries, its real origins are unknown; Only few know that the mech was excavated from a crater formed by the collision of an object from outer space.

During a routine examination, the mech, which had been inactive since its discovery, suddenly came to life and destroyed its way out of the testing facilities, destroying everything in its path as it made its way to Zakiel's hometown.

Description:

Altair is a light machine, designed to rely on its extremely high maneuverability and speed rather than on brute strength. It's usually hovering rather than walking/running if forced to be close to the ground.

Its weapons are designed to hit fast and hard, while being as lightweight as possible.

Altair is powered up by a self-sustaining reactor, contained within its body. It is this reactor that allows it to attain the energy levels it possesses, which grants it access to the diverse energy-based weapons it possesses, as well as power up its propulsion system. The mech is able to regain its energy levels and repair itself through its nanomachines without the need of outside help.

Both Zakiel and the mech have a telepathic connection, allowing them to "sense" the place and state in which the other one is over long distances without the need of devices.

Finally, the mech's cockpit has no entrances. The only way to access it is through the portal created through the Argicida Drive.

Environment:

Altair is a mech designed to move at extreme speeds, as well as being able to adapt easily to pressure changes.

Thrusters on its back allow it to not only reach high velocities while grounded, but to take flight as well. When active, the energy released by the thrusters is manifested as a pair of large, red energy wings.

Maneuvering stabilizers (small nozzle thrusters placed in different locations throughout its body) increase its speed, as well as give it incredible maneuverability, allowing it to change its trajectory and stop at a moment's notice.

It excels on both outer space and in flight while in an atmosphere, being able to reach high velocities while maintaining a precise control over its trajectory due to its advanced propulsion system.

It operates quite well while grounded, retaining most of its speed due to its propulsion system. It is a machine designed to be flying/floating rather than walking; however, once on the ground or underwater, the thrusters throughout its body give it great mobility, allowing it to attain faster and more precise movements.

It suffers mostly underwater.

Weapons:

Aether: The mech's "claws". When in use, its claws are surrounded by energy, changing their color to a bright red. This weapon is powered by the Aegis device, so it is not dependent on the mech's energy.

Ares: The mech's arms are able store and release energy beams with rapid-fire capabilities; these beams can be charged into a single shot to increase the damage ratio; as well as being channeled into the mech's claws, sending out a wave of red energy with each strike.

Alida: The stabilizers located throughout the mech's body can be used as long-range weapons, releasing homing lasers. These lasers are most often used as a defense system against threats by working as countermeasure flares and chaffs.

Aegis: A pin-point energy barrier. The shield can be generated anywhere around the mech's body in order to completely shield it against a maximum of two attacks before running out of energy (one blocked attack per device). The shield is controlled and powered up by two independent devices located on the mech's hips. Each device takes 12 hours to fully recharge after being used, and only one device can be recharged at a time (for a total of 24 hours if both shields were used).

Aigo: An expandable energy shield that surrounds the mech from all sides and deflects enemy fire, absorbing energy-based fire. Due to the power requirements of the system, this shield may only be active for 20 seconds, and while active, no other energy-based weapons can be used until the barrier is deactivated. This system has a cool down period of 24 hours.

Life Support System:

Vega Support System: An exoskeleton composed of millions of nanomachines that are able to travel through wormholes. Due to this ability, it can be activated without the need of being close to the mech.

It adjusts to the pilot's body and, much like a space suit, it is designed to maintain its wearer alive while in outer space. It is equipped with a life-support system, a communication system, heat and radiation shields, a propulsion system resembling that of the mech, as well as an energy shield which protects the pilot against outside threats that could damage the suit; in addition, it acts as a g-suit, which allows the pilot to tolerate both low and high g.

While inside the mech, the suit is able to use the mech's energy to function; however, once it leaves the mech, it runs on a reserve battery that is able to last a maximum of 24 hours with every system activated, and 48 hours if only the most essential life-support systems are active. It is equipped with a smaller version of the Argicida Drive; however, due to the fact that the pilot is more exposed than while in the mech, continuous use of this ability is harmful.

After use, as the nanomachines travel through wormholes (much too small for the eye to see), it seems as if the suit simply evaporates into thin air.

Controls:

Athena System: The most basic form of control incorporated in the mech. The pilot is fitted into a powered exoskeleton composed of nanomachines. The suit records the pilot's motions and transmits them to the mech's on-board computer, allowing it to “trace” the pilot's movements; in a similar way, information about the mech's environment, as well as damage is transmitted back to the pilot.

In addition to this, the pilot is suspended in a gravitational chamber that prevents him from touching the walls; the inside of the control room is surrounded by monitors that display visual information of the mech's surroundings, giving the pilot a 360 degree field of vision. While this system allows the pilot to control the mech as if it were his own body, it is inferior to the Apollo Drive*.

*See abilities.

Additional Information:

Auto-Zooming Device: The on board computer can identify and zoom in on targets, displaying a clearer view of a specific target with overlaid information.
Combat Database: Data can be stored and analyzed during battle. This allows the mech to identify and display data to the pilot regarding both enemy and friendly forces. The mech is also equipped with a large database of currently known mechanisms.
Communication System: The mech is equipped with a long range, directional communications system that allows it to display any audio and/or visual communication.
Heat and Radiation Shields: The way the mech is designed, as well as the alloys it has been created with allow it to shield the mech against damage and any life-threatening heat and/or radiation, allowing it to descend into the atmosphere, travel through space, et cetera with no threat to the pilot.
Light Sensors: An optical system that is able to view and project any kind of light of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Radar System: Using electromagnetic waves, the mech can identify the range, altitude, direction, and speed of both objects and terrain.

Abilities:

Apollo Drive: One of the mech's most unique abilities. The Apollo Drive allows allows the pilot to link his mind with the mech's on-board computer, giving the pilot complete control over the mech and allowing him to issue commands at the speed of thought. Its activation is displayed by the mech's eyes glowing red, as well as energy overflowing through the mech's body, creating a low crimson aura around it.

The Apollo Drive is operational once both the pilot and the mech reach a 100% synchronization ratio. By doing so, feedback from the outside of the mech is transmitted back to the pilot's mind; while similar to the Athena System, the Apollo Drive places the pilot into a coma-like state, his mind is then linked directly to the mech's computer, allowing him to see, analyze situations and crafts, as well as move and react at the mech's speed, rather than a human's.

While in this state, the pilot's mind literally becomes one with the mech's, with full access to the mech's abilities, as well as exponentially and temporarily increasing its power, speed, offensive and defensive capabilities. Due to the pilot's mind being linked to the mech, any damage caused to the mech while under the effects of the Apollo Drive is transmitted to the pilot.

Temporary forced activation of this ability can be achieved; however, due to the strain on the pilot's body, overuse of this ability in such a way may prove to be fatal.

Argicida Drive: The mech is able to open up wormholes and perform short-distance warp through them. The farther the distance traveled through these means, the more energy required to open the portals. In addition, the mech is only able to travel to an area that the pilot is familiar with, be it by being able to see it, or if he has seen it previously.

Flare Drive: The mech's most powerful and dangerous ability. It gathers its energy inside its body and releases it in one blast, causing a huge explosion around it, damaging everything in range.

While its destructive capabilities are impressive, it requires a huge amount of energy; a fully powered Flare Drive will leave the mecha unable to use any energy-powered weapon that requires the mech's energy. Every time the the mech uses this ability, it runs the risk of overloading, as well as melting its core reactor, causing it to self-destruct.

Due to the incredible amount of energy released, the pilot himself suffers some damage from this ability.

A combat knife, resembling a KM2000, developed by him that uses an ultrasonic generator to create ultrasonic vibrations and thus allow it to cut through much denser materials; due to the friction caused by these vibrations, the blade's temperature rises, thus increasing the cutting power.

Prog knife!

I'm done with my character.
Unless you meant post in the non-existent IC.

Allright, approved Kage. Just wasn't done last time I checked hmm..

And Meza looking good so far.

Mmk hope this is fine with you Weavel.

Name: Cyrus Wallim

Age: 31

Job/Class: Master at Arms (Head of Security/Discipline) / Pilot

History: Early in life Cyrus was abducted into an unnamed underworld group and was used in slave labor to construct various weapons of war and pull what resources were left in the Earth out. It was through various cases of abuse and punishment that he lost his right arm as well as various other muscles from strain. At the age of 14 he was rescued by the Government who diagnosed him as so far gone that not even their technology could bring his arm and broken body back to life. It was when someone proposed the use of old cybernetics given modern technology that Cyrus lept at the opportunity to be able to function normally again. The extensive surgery took about a year before he could finally move again and even though it left his body gravely scared and his right arm was entirely robotic he felt as if he could do something. Once he was old enough to enlist he joined the UWG as an anti-terrorist member and rose quickly up the ranks hoping to one day free others from the tyranny he has faced. He has known Richard from teamed up operations and was chosen for head of Security due to his universal understanding and knowing of discipline.

Cyrus is a slow to anger rather solitary figure who gladly hears the complaints of the crew. He always appears to be at the top of shape and is not harsh on discipline but knows when to issue it out. He is a bit reserved about his own past dealing as he fears the repulsiveness of his scars will destabilize crew moral he tends to keep to his own business and only checks in on the dealings of others rarely.

Description:
MassEffect.jpg

Cyrus is 5'11" and would appear to weigh around 185lbs but due to his implants weighs closer to 250lbs. He is in fit condition and has blue eyes with a slight glow to them. He keeps his hair short if not buzzed but it is a brownish blond color.

Above is Cyrus in his tactical combat/pilot suit and armed with one of his signature pistols, He often wears either his uniform or armor to cover up the various scars and his rough cybernetic arm and various other cybernetic relays that repair his almost broken body. His typical uniform is a longer full sleeved version of the standard issue as well as a pair of gloves to keep his scars hidden. His right arm is entirely metallic with plated "Skin" to keep it similar in shape to a normal arm.

Weapons: Twin MarkVIII C-Type Pistols: Cyrus's signature pistols which are combat linked into his own implants allowing for him to perform feats of awe with his pistols. They are twin barreled using two different types of shots. The top is magazine fed using a small railgun whilst the bottom is a high powered laser.

Cybernetics: Having various cybernetic implants gives Cyrus well beyond human strength and opens a world of new pains. A right hook from Cyrus' arm in zero G would easily break the back of someone as they ricochet off a wall. He doesn't carry any other close combat weapons considering his right arm can easily be used to parry and deflect most solid blades.

Name of Mech: "Knight" (RXM - 006 CrNOVA, Refined Xeno Mecha, Number 006, Cyborg Custom equipped with the NOVA system.)

Origin: The Knight was stolen early from the alien wreckage by an unknown terrorist group that used it for researching new technologies not supported by the world government. The suit slowly restored itself as resources were fed to it and it's own systems did the repair work. Eventually on a final raid into his slavers lair Cyrus was able to secure and seize this mecha where the UWG eventually did some modifications to it allowing for it to be piloted. The suit seemed to be put too much strain on a normal human but Cyrus felt that he could tame the mecha and was given the chance. After surviving the test run with no injuries he had it modified to react specifically to his body thus increasing the machines performance. Unlike some of the other mecha recovered from the wreckage this machine much like it's pilot is more alien than it is human built.

Environment: The Knight appears to be an all range mecha given it's humanoid form and controlling schemes. Given the large amount of propulsion systems on it's back however it excels the best in a Zero-g environment but with the addition of a flight pack gains a similar ability in the air. It's only lacking area is that of Water but with it's ease to adapt to any situation this can be compensated for.

Weapons:

CrPistols: Twin Pistols very similar to those that Cyrus uses on foot. They have been modified to a maximum having a range similar to a carbine and similar damage. The top barrels fire small slugs of neutronium carved from the block inside a magazine whilst the bottoms draw from either the Knight's capacitor or a disposable E-cell that can be inserted on their sides. Smart linked with their own camera's allowing Cyrus to see from them.

CrBlade: The Knight's right hand molds into a beam projector while the rest of the arm forms into a beam resistant metal as the arm becomes a powerful close combat weapon. In addition to having access to this beam weapon the Knight's right arm is also more powerful than the other mimicking it's pilot.

CrCannon: This odd mix between a Bazooka and a Rifle requires the Knight to hold it in two hands. The three barreled CrCannon fires three tachyon beams that are contained in a magnetic field as they wrap around each other in flight. Upon contact it causes a massive reactionary breakdown in mass but appears to have no effect on shields.

CrMissiles: Various slots across the Knight open up to reveal missile racks that launch small guided plasma headed missiles at a target. There are roughly 10 launchers of 3 missiles and can either be reloaded through use of the NOVA system or traditional means.

Description: The Knight stands 53 feet tall and comes in at a solid 32 Tones. The Mecha is humanoid and consist of two parts, an inner movable body very similar to that of a humans in shape and form as well as an outer harder shell which resembles armor. The mecha is named after it's armed helmet which resembles an old knights helm. The paint scheme is Blue with gray and white as highlights for certain parts. On it's right shoulder there is the symbol of a supernova in white and a similar symbol in the middle of it's back. The upper back has a backpack permanently attached which houses the NOVA System. Across it's back and down the legs are various sized thrusters and verniers which give the Knight it's excellent maneuverability. The middle of the back also houses a connection point allowing it to mount various packs for special missions.

Extra:

CrControl: The control system of the mecha requires it's user to be a cyborg or at least partially machine in order for it to work. It harness hand held controls mounted onto the user's frame to control the mecha whilst following a similar direct motion link system. The controls shape through use of nanites to the users body. The system also puts strain on the occupant leading to damage to a normal human but thanks to his cybernetic enhancements Cyrus can handle it.

Abilities:

CrField: A frontal barrier that covers the Knight for defensive purposes. A glowing green field of energy is projected that can not only block most incoming attacks but also be used as a push field and attack enemies. The downside is it can only cover the front or back but not both and last for about 20 seconds before needing to recharge for 5 minutes.

CrFAST: CrFAST(Fuel and Sensor Tactical) are packs that can be added to give the Knight an edge in whatever environment it is fighting in. The two main packs are the Air and Sea packs. The Air pack adds wings and additional thrusters while the Sea adds propellers. While both are easily ejected the Interface system takes time to get used to missing the pack and they also are quite volatile and easy to destroy.

NOVA System: The Nanite Operated Variable Assembler System, NOVA System for short, is a highly advanced piece of alien technology which can gather free floating energy and materials and turn them into weapons and armor as well as additional power for the user. When the system activates 8 silver wings of nanites extend from the location of the back of the mecha and continue to expand harvesting free floating particles to form ammo, modify weapons, repair armor, and even regenerate the suits original systems. When activated it last for around 3 minutes whilst continually feeding power into the Mecha as well as modify it's occupant. Once deactivated the sheer stress of return to normal backfires throughout the suit causing massive join failures and energetic backlashes as it is rendered immobile and derelict. The pilot also feels the suits pain having been linked up with the suit for these three minutes. So far Cyrus has only used it in a trial running and was pushed to his limits doing so.

Looks great to me, Soldato. Approved!

Yeah. Definitely looks like early next week for the start of this RP.

God, we are so screwed if mecha sharks with lasers on their backs show up.

Name: Morgan Porter

Age: 22

Job/Class: engineer/mechanic

History: Morgan grew up in a less fortunate part of the world. Both his parents abandoned him and he grew up as an orphan. He was taken into a group of children like him that were raised by a group of mechanics. In it, he was taught how to be useful. He learned how to take a vehicle or mech apart, clean it, make it better than it was, and then put it back together. But, not everything they worked on was theirs. Most of the things they worked on were stolen or simply so broke no one cared about them. All of their work was usually sold in less than comfortable settings. But Morgan learned the ways of trade through this.

From his adopted family, he learned how to fix almost anything, how to make it all better than it was before, and how to keep himself alive. But most importantly, he learned how to survive. He knew little about guns that weren't attached to something else but he knew enough to keep himself alive. The streets taught him to be sly and smart enough to know stupidity from a worthwhile risk. But sometimes stupidity was fun. When he was old enough, he learned how to not only fix mechs, but how to work them.

Unfortunately Morgan had a flaw. He was good at what he did and he didn't like to not get noticed for it. So he left his signature on a few of his works. That was all it took for the authorities to find him. Once he was caught, he didn't exist to the others. The UWG, however, needed good engineers for a project. So he was given a choice. He could either go to jail for ten to fifteen years, or he could work for them. The choice was easy for him. Ever since he's been working for UWG.

Name of Mech: Cid

Origin: This mech was created by the group of orphans. It was created from several scrap mechs to form one useable mech. None of the mechs were the same type, but overall they worked together and created a mixed mech. Took a long time to make but all in the group were proud of it. Whenever Morgan was caught, it was in a shop with the mech inside. It was taken as well. When he decided to work for the UWG, they gave him the mech to help him work.

Environment: Was designed to be used on a ship. Meant to travel on top of one whether the ship is moving or not. Because of this, it is also skilled in mountains. Has no equipment for air travel so it is grounded. It has an average ability in water and is fine on land.

Weapons:
Plasma torch, left arm- mainly used for ship repair but also good for fighting. Uses high heat to cut through metal or to seal metals back together.

Laser knife- when there isn’t money for a plasma sword, go for the cheaper knife. Same powers as a laser sword, just smaller.

Assault turret, right shoulder- a laser shot gun that has three hundred rounds and three explosive rounds.

Titanium alloy, laser resistant grappling whip- a whip that is attached to the right arm and can be used for more support in tight areas, grabbing things, or catching enemy mechs. Has short range.

Description: Not a beautiful mech. Was made using the parts taken from many mechs. The entire thing looks a bit unorthodox but it does work. The left arm was taken from a mech designed to be defensive. The arm had to have most of its armour taken off to keep the mech balanced. The right arm was from a melee mech and is not as bulky as the left arm and is sleek. The legs are both matching. Both were made for a terrain travelling mech that could go through most ground based environments. But they are also very bulky and again some of the armour had to be stripped away in order for the entire mech to work. The chest piece was another defensive mech piece but from a different model. And the head was the shape of a human that had to be rebuilt. The entire shape is of a human. It isn’t the best looking mech, but it works. The entire outer body is painted black because that was cheaper than the other colours. Some of the armour removed from parts was placed on other places that would keep it balanced as well.

Extra: Was built with love.

Abilities:

Barricade mode- that extra armour placed on the body is able to be put over the body to make an extra layer of body. It increases defence capabilities for whenever repairs are needed to ships or just for in battle. The downside is the entire mech becomes very slow.

Hacker- the mech is equipped with nanobots that can be injected into another mech. With the correct computer skills, the mech can be taken over and controlled by the pilot. The problem is that the pilot must control two mechs at the same time.

Name: HX368 [Humans can come up with nicknames for him if HX368 is too much]

Age: 6 years.

Job/Class: Mechanic// Security // Mech Pilot. [Tactical Prevention of Sabotage and Espionage Actions.]

History:

Personality- The closest thing he has to a personality is a rather intelligent AI capable of carrying on a conversation with a human being. Other than that his computer brain holds a rather advanced learning algorithm. It was programmed by his creator to keep track of every single little detail concerning the prototype mech. A strange feature is that when detecting a potential threat a sudden and distinct noise emanates from HX368.

Skills- Retaining information. Combat data. Machine repair.

Personal History-

Created six years ago when development of the mech suit began, the earliest form of this android has evolved along with the 'Prince of Space' ever since. Originally all of his parts were all man made but over the course of time HX368 has been rebuilt several times. For one reason or another. Each time the mech has adavanced so have certain aspects of the design which led to this version of HX368.

Due to the dangerous nature of the prototype it was believed ethically immoral to allow any human being to pilot such a machine. As a result HX368 knows every single experimental run the prototype has made first hand. Learning such information has come at the price of rebuilding the android when something goes wrong. So long as the computer brain survived he could be rebuilt. Until sufficient battle data is collected by HX368 it will remain his mech alone to pilot.

For this current situation the creator of HX368 decided to give her android a human appearance and uploaded combat data on OOM [Out Of Mech] techniques. The reasoning behind this decision remains unknown. However it is a complete facade and not at all organic. Every last part of the skin and hair is an up to date synthetic material. Perhaps it had something to do with the type of Synthetic skin used having the capability to absorb a low to moderate amount of laserfire.

The possible results of this expidition remain. . . unpredictable.

Description:

_Red_Seduction2.jpg

Clothes- The jacket in the picture is not what he actually wears. Instead HX368 can usually be found in a standard issue green jumpsuit for pilots. But his wardrobe may increase if donations are made.

Weapons:

Wristblaster- A compact single barrel laser blaster is built into his left forearm. Small incisions which are invisible to the naked eye actually reveal where it rises up from the synthetic skin. Draws upon his internal power supply.

Fistshields- Built into both hands is a set of medium quality energy shields meant for deflecting bullets, small missiles, lasers, and hand held weapons. However anything larger than what a human can carry will tear right through them. Draws upon his internal power supply.

Mech bio

Name of Mech: Prince Of Space

Origin:

Prototype.

"Horse without a saddle. . . warrior without a master. . . ."

Based from the technology on the alien warship, this mech possesses two forms from which the pilot can make it transform. It is a prototype meant to perform well in both land-based and outer space combat between vessels or bases. One potential use is leaping through space from one ship to another at high speeds and to start destroying the ship's armor. This would leave the enemy without a home to come back to after a battle.

Development of the actual mech itself goes back six years while the plans and theories behind it go back even further. The head scientist on this project visited the alien warship before it became heavily classified and was inspired to create something just as 'beautiful' in her words. Among the amazing extrerrestrial creations witnessed was a power source derived from dark matter. It has proven to be the most difficult achievement to ascertain. For this reason it is unstable when compared to the source material. However it was done without any knowledge of the Zerominus project due to how classified the Mk III's status has remained since whenever it began.

After hearing about the exploration mission, the scientist in charge decided that the safest place to test such a potentially dangerous prototype. Mainly since it would be far from the planet Earth.

Environment: Fights well in space and on land since it was designed to cover vast distances quickly. However it cannot fly on it's own and does not do well at all when completely submerged in water.

Weapons:

Nanomachine Arsenal-- While in EQUINE form this is actually disguised as the horse's tail. But when in humanoid form the nanomachines can form into a variety of hand to hand weapons. Most notably are an axe, sword, and whip. Due to the nanomachines these weapons can become electrified if desired by the pilot.

Rail Sniper-- While in humanoid form this Mech has access to a Sniper Rifle which fires rounds through the same mechanics behind a highly advanced rail gun. The rounds can pierce most armor due to their intense alloy and the speed at which the gun fires. Accuracy varies depending on whether it is a planet with gravity or the Zero-G environment of outer space. In a sense one could classify this weapon as expierimental since the range it possesses in a Zero-G scenario is unknown. There is also a variable settling to switch it from single shot to a more semi-auto setting for rapid sniping. Exact ammo count given at the beginning of each battle is 26 possible shots.

Description:

Equine form-- This form stands taller than most mech suits at 75 feet due to the creators wishing to employ the same ratio a horse would when placed next to a grown man. On top of that the weight of this prototype is around 90 Tones, more than the typical mech. Realistically it is due to standing taller, being wider, and the head portion sticking out. It resembles a large metallic looking horse all the way down to a handsomely flowing main and tail. But in truth these organic trappings are made up of nanomachines that, in this form, will flow just as the hairs of a wild Mustang would. The paint job itself mixes a color scheme of silver and white in a not quite symmetrical fashion to once again mimic the animal this mech is partially based upon.

Humanoid Form-- Due to the extra mass of the 'Mustang Mode' special consideration was taken when designing the Humanoid battle mode. In the end it stands about 60 feet tall and weighs exactly the same with the only variable being how much weapon ammo has been fired. Still this Mech's size is deceptive since use of the gravity wave flux can greatly increase it's on foot speed. However it cannot fly and does not have any thrusters. This leaves it bound to the planet surface when it comes to land battles.

But what might unnerve the common onlooker is how the nanomachines from the Mustang mane are transferred to the head unit to create a free flowing mane of unruly nanomachine hair. Meanwhile what was once the tail vanishes into the mech until called upon as a weapon. On top of that the face itself has humanoid features and an actual mouth. Eyes which are the same shape of human ones with a soft green glow are also set in the correct positions to create a symmetrical look.

The body unit resembles that of an armored human warrior missing about a quarter of their full armor. Most notably the helmet. Why? The Rail Sniper weapon that is stored inside the Mech during 'Mustang Mode' is now out and available for use on the battlefield. Therefore the space it occupied is now stylishly displayed and spread out. But doing so gives rise to a couple possible weak points open to exploitation. One of them thankfully does NOT include a direct shot at the Dark Matter Generator. No doubt a pretty penny went into bringing the designer's blue prints to life.

Extra:

Dark Matter Generator-- This is what powers not only the entire mech suit but also the GravityWave Fluxuation Engine. While it does not show any signs yet of instability, there is still an intense fear surrounding possible scenarios. Should it actually get pushed beyond the limits it could spell disaster for all nearby. For this reason it is still a prototype model deemed too dangerous for human use. Developed without knowledge of the super triple secret Zeromus Mk III, it shares a common ancestor with the reactor but moves in a different direction.

[[OOC: Didn't mean to inadvertently causing a shrimpstorm over power sources. But to keep from any further needless horse-shrimp from happening I'm putting in an actual explanation of how this thing works since Anonymous does not have one for his. IT WILL KEEP US SEPARATE I HOPE.]

How the dark matter generator is fueled comes from taking in dark matter directly from space itself while in outer space. For this reason it has nearly infinite energy in space but becomes dangerously unstable if put under extreme stress or is fired upon. When on a planet's surface it has a finite amount of time it can battle before becoming a glorified sculpture. Also, it is far more stable and therefore safer to use overall. Most terrifying of all being what could happen in the event of enemy fire rupturing or even exploding it. Several scientists from the development team have theorized it could create a blackhole. . .

Abilities:

Gravity Wave Fluxuation Engine-- This allows the horse and humanoid form of the mech to control gravity fluxuation within a short range. It can either draw in or repulse a surface from any of the four limbs. Each one can be utilized individually if required during battle. The intended purpose is to let this mech cling easily to a ship in outer space or move at higher speeds without added weight resistance.

Transformation-- One form of the mech greatly resembles terrestrial equines while the other is a humanoid form. Actual transformation time has been honed down to precisely five seconds. The pilot must manually choose to switch between what mode to us. Which means it may distract him for even that most crucial split second. Also, while transforming it is four times more vulnerable than either form. CAUTION IS SUGGESTED DUE TO THE TEMPORARY EXPOSURE OF THE GENERATOR.

Complex Simple repair-- The nanomachines used for weaponry also have a limited repair function. If a limb is sliced off by any means, as long as the limb is reattached it can quickly be repaired. Single shots from gun weapons can also be repaired relatively fast. But if parts are vaporized entirely or a massive amount of damage occurs all at once this ability rendered almost completely useless.

Omni.jpg

”You have to deal with your own problems before you can help others with theirs.”

Name: Omni Alexander

Age: 28

Job/Class: Psychologist, Monitor of Ship AI

History: Omni is quiet and bookish, usually keeping to himself. He has a tendency to be a little absent-minded and disorganized in his own life. He knows he’s supposed to mingle with the crew, but can’t help being sucked into something interesting to study. That being said, Omni spends nearly every waking hour of his spare time ‘conversing’ with the Themis’ AI. He finds it fascinating that an artificial intelligence can appear nearly sentient and he plans to be there if true sentience should awaken. Omni consults the AI on the various environmental states of the ship and requests that they be adjusted as needed. He enjoys questioning the AI, seeing how far it can truly carry a conversation and how deep these ‘emotions’ can truly run. Although the Themis AI is something of a dream he once had, Omni is unsure whether having something this powerful onboard is helpful or potentially dangerous.

Omni originally intended to become an artificial intelligence engineer, immersing himself in his training after joining the military to help pay for his education. He soon discovered that sitting in front of computers and data was far too boring for him. Observing real people with real emotions was far more interesting than trying to create something that only seemed to have emotions. Although quiet and thoughtful, Omni’s genuine personality would put his other team-mates at ease and he soon found that they would approach him for advice or simply for someone to listen. He can be seen wandering around the ship with Anselm when he isn’t in his office, puttering about and getting into trouble where he shouldn’t be.

Beneath Omni's fairly normal exterior lies some rather strange tastes and motivations...

Description: [Will put something here] Wears a loose civilian jacket over his standard crew fair. Prone to losing his voice, thus he wears a scarf around his neck quite a bit.

Weapons: Although he received standard training while in the military, Omni prefers to not carry any weapons. He does carry the head of a small fake silk sunflower in his pocket though, although it is only an item of sentimental value. The lack of weapon will likely be corrected by Themis’ AI later on.

Anselm – Defensive Companion

Anselm is something of Omni’s own creation. It is a small creature-type ‘bot that he constantly tinkers around with. He changes its shell constantly so that one week Anselm will be a cat and the next, an iguana. Anselm is capable of small transformations itself, but not by much. Part of Anselm’s AI is to collect bits and pieces of things, sort of like a magpie. It will steal whatever it thinks will be useful in the future. Omni continues to tinker with Anselm, adding new features when he can.

Under Construction

Riku, approved although you may wish to add a third ability.

Gotta wait on Meza, Amp and Orion to finish their bios.

And from this post onwards, I do NOT want anymore people, except Titan if he still interested, we've got plenty of people in this RP now.

Just to let people know, I'll be gone all of next week. 16th to the 22nd. I'll try to catch up when I get back.
