Designing roleplays

So, does anyone have any tips/tricks on making a roleplay look nice? im bad at bbcode and pretty much everything else related to actually organizing information.

I've just got like, ideas in my head, and im clueless on how to proccess them into a workable format. :^(

I think just centering something and adding color is good enough, you can do simple things like just adding a picture above the text and I think it looks real nice

Centering a header is good, and maybe an image or two. Aside from that, simple is best.

Make everything really small text and put it in an imbedded window with its own scroll bar. But make sure that second window is either too small to contain a full line of text or too narrow to read more than a dozen words in it at one pass.

That seems to work for people.

Addendum

Unusual fonts that are difficult to read are also a big selling point. If a person can get all the way through the info on the first page when everything is italicized pseudo cursive then it really shows commitment.
