Name/s:
Serenity Evans
"Ren"
C-001

18 since she breathed her first breath of fresh air, around 23 since her creation.
Gender:
Female
Race: Human (Clone)
Rank: Ash Wolves Operative
Role: Doctor/Toxicologist
Combat
Weapons:
Tail
As soon as her body had reached its full growth, she was equipped with an extendable five foot mechanical tail after she complained about back problems. They replaced her spine with a mechanical one that performed the same functions as a natural spine, however, it also enhanced her flexibility and durability since it isn't as easy to break as a normal spine and doesn't have as much of a limit as to how far it can bend.
Along with the new spine, came a tail with pointed ends that are capable of separating to use to grab things, shoot lasers, or simply stab someone. With the laser, she gets five three second shots per charge so it is best used sparingly. It is concentrated enough to cut through metal and can cause some serious damage if used on something more organic. Only upsides for her target is that it is very hard to aim with and they probably won't bleed to death since the heat would cauterize the wound. The tail is strong enough to carry her own weight which is great for climbing.
Poison coated needles
Ren is armed with needles coated in concentrated doses of poison. Though poison is never fatal to demons (because of how small the doses are), the compounds she injects into her needles still come with a variety of effects. Ren's rule of thumb is to never create a poison without an antidote since she can easily accidentally poison herself or even a team mate. Doing so would also be unethical. Whether the antidote is on her person, however, is another story. The primary effects she aims for are those to disorient their target. When a subject requires capture, she chooses something to knock them out. Her personal favorite for those who choose to misbehave is one she calls "ant bite" which gives the target inflicted with the toxin to feel as if they are being eaten alive by a swarm of ants. The more they scratch, the worse the sensation gets.
Kill
She often carries a revolver loaded with enhanced custom rounds specifically designed to take down demons. Primarily, it is best for medium range shots and focuses on accuracy, shooting a single bullet down the cross-hairs. However, the secondary fire fans the hammer, allowing her to completely unload the cylinder in quick succession. This is obviously not very accurate and ineffective out of short range. Otherwise, it has medium range and a little flashlight.
Passive Abilities:
Enhanced/Above average flexibility and durability because of her spine.
She is well versed in treating injuries, poison, and illness. Her medical expertise is on par with most doctors of the time. In regards to her knowledge of toxins, however, she is certainly one of the top in the field.
Mild resistance to toxins after being experimented on by the man who took her in at first as well as the times she has experimented on herself whenever she didn't have a demon subject to test on. Though not immune to toxins, it takes longer than usual for the effects to set in.
Active Abilities:
Object Teleportation
Using the demon hand she was born with, she can teleport small inanimate objects from one location to another. As long as she can hold the weight in that hand, she can send or summon it. It's primary use is to teleport her needles, poisons, or antidotes to her hands. As long as she knows their exact location, she can summon them.
Limitations:
-Only that left hand is capable of the feat. No hand; No power.
-Weight/size limited to something that can be held in her hand.
-Draining. If she uses it too often, her hand will cramp up or in more severe cases, become useless for the rest of the day.
-She is left handed so, if she were to overuse, she'd be pretty inconvenienced.

Personality:
Taciturn. Ren generally seems apathetic at all times. She's the quiet type and her eyes give off the feeling that there is no one at home. In a sense, she is like a blank piece of paper. Empty but full of potential. Not that she is stupid or anything (just lacking in common sense). Clones are often seen as imperfect or incomplete for a reason. Not all of them are able to acquire an identity of their own.
Rather than facing this identity crisis, she became oblivious to it the moment she was given an actual name. In fact she is oblivious to a great deal of things as she takes everything very literally and will not understand you when you claim that it is raining cats and dogs. Ren is loyal to those she serves and their mission in life. She is also mildly religious, believing firmly that God allowed her to be for one reason or another.
She views demons as well as herself as the source of the greatest sin but isn't going to treat them any worse than she would a normal person as they didn't ask to be born that way. Even when she experiments on them, she treats them with care and kindness even if she is inflicting pain upon them. Very rarely do her subjects ever die.
Speaking of death, she puts very little value on her own life as well. She sees herself as a lower being, not because of a low self esteem but because of what she is. If she were to die on a mission or anything, she would be happy to have served a purpose.
Because of this viewpoint, she seems to not care about much if anything at all. She is weak to one thing though; animals (particularly fluffy ones). She is a sucker for soft fur and will want to hold and cuddle with a fluff ball for hours on end. One thing in life she would never do is hurt an innocent fluff. Since they are also often treated as lower lifeforms, she feels a sense of kinship with animals. It is through her interactions with animals and people close to her that her subtle passion to protect truly shows.
Bio:
Before she was created, a very wealthy human long ago was saved by Felicity; the leader of Bloody Moon at the time. It was love at first sight that quickly turned into obsession after being rejected by her one too many times. Used to getting what he wanted, he sent many to try to capture her so that he could admire her from somewhere closer to home rather than just from pictures and holograms.
When he couldn't have her, he sent "assassins" to attempt to collect some samples to create a clone of her for himself. When humans couldn't even get close, he sent demon mercenaries. There was no luck.
That was until he noticed a person by her side. They seemed to be a normal member but he soon learned that the woman was her sister. When he noted that the two seemed rather close, it was through this "sister" that he found the opening he needed. The man sent another demon to woo this sister of hers so they could get close enough to deliver samples they required.
This demon had the ability to teleport wide distances which would make it easier to get away with the samples he required. They could also send things to the lab with this ability of theirs. For months, they sent as many samples from the leader as they could acquire. Although it was primarily hair, saliva, and skin particles, it slowly accumulated until they had enough for a few attempts.
It didn't take long for Felicity to notice it but her sister didn't even bat an eye until the demon turned her knife on Felicity to take at least one blood sample for better pay for the children she had left behind. It didn't turn out well for her as she was struck down by the very person she thought she had wrapped around her finger. Before she passed, she did manage to scratch the leader once. Sensing her impending death and tired from all the teleporting she had done before her cover was blown, she allowed them to cut off her arm in battle and sent it directly to the lab before she lost consciousness.
Thus the scientists and specialists back at the lab got their sample and then some.
With all they needed to have a few attempts at it, they used as little as possible to make Ren. She was their first of few attempts and more of an experiment than anything. To bridge the gaps and use as little of Felicity's dna as possible, they combined Felicity's dna with that of the demon arm they brought back along with that of the male who wanted this clone in the first place.
When she finally began to form distinguishable features, she looked far too human for the man's tastes. Ren was automatically labeled as a failure and kept her in a test tube to mature in case they needed to take some of her to use in the other attempts. With so little to work with, they spent years trying to make exactly what the man wanted but before they could finish, the lab was raided by the black cross.
When word came out that they were trying to create a clone out of demon DNA, they grew cross and took whatever they needed while destroying anything they deemed unpleasant and sinful. When the one of the members in charge of the operation got to her clone, which was pretty much complete at the time, they hesitated and kept her instead.
The man in question had lost a child before to demons and was not in the right mind when he took her under his wing. It seemed like the right move at first. He was able to keep her safe by explaining that she was just a test subject for something he wanted to work on.
He quickly became sorely disappointed when she turned out to lack the qualities his daughter possessed. He claimed that she acted more like a doll than a child. In the end, he did temporarily end up using her as a test subject for toxins. This experimentation came to an end when she accidentally transferred a pretty orb from the hand of one of his colleagues to her own while completely restrained. When he saw this, he lashed out at her for the demonic traits he had previously forced himself to believe didn't exist.
Seeing this, his colleague bought Ren from the man and gave her a new name and a better life as her personal assistant. This older woman did not belong to any organization but had connections to many. She was a doctor that was very well known for offering free treatment to those in need. One of these connections was to the previous leader of the Ash Wolves who would often use her services whenever he or one of their operatives were wounded and required medical assistance.
It was under his suggestion that gave the woman the idea to allow him to train Ren to protect. Though Ren could be seen as human, the demon traits she possessed could be useful in keeping the clinics the woman ran safe from harm. The woman took this as a joke at first, seeing Ren as only a child. She gave the girl a tail to humor him but didn't go further beyond that.
It was something that would cost her. The Ash Wolves eventually brought trouble along with them. A few new operatives were tailed by demons to one of the clinics. Had the leader not caught on in time, Ren would have followed the woman in death.
Orphaned and left without a sense of direction, she was taken in again and trained to kill demons to avenge the woman who taught her kindness and passion. She didn't really excel in fighting. At best, she could hold one off in a one on one fight. Oddly enough, she wasn't even interested in something like vengeance. Instead, she wanted to continue to learn and open a new chain of clinics in the woman's memory. Her opportunity to return to her profession came when the leader fell and was replaced by Sephtis.
Recognizing her skill in the medical field, he had allowed her to continue nurturing that skill and was the one to push her further into concocting toxins to use against demons. There were times she would be called upon but it was rare for them to need anything from her that wasn't related to her research.
She currently owns multiple clinics and labs to work with, learning from the tragedy from years before that it was dangerous to keep everything in one place. Her goal is to create something that will affect Demons but not Humans so that they could have an easier way of taking multiple out without risking the safety of the other members.
Extra
+Though she's not exactly great at combat due to her inability to read people, she is skilled in infiltration. Though it would be easy to tell that she is human without her cloak, her reptilian-like pupils and her demon hand could easily blend well in a crowd of demons. Not to mention, her clinics that happen to be placed in convenient locations, her general disposition and skill with poison. She is often asked to help with interrogations when necessary.
+While she could make many kinds of toxins, she prefers those that incapacitate their targets rather than fatal ones. It makes accidental victims much easier to treat and test subjects easier to acquire.
+If it isn't obvious already, she bears a striking resemblance to Felicity, one of Bloody Moon's past leaders. She lacks the demon's horns and build but her eyes, hair, and distinguishable facial features are almost identical. Face-wise, her features are softer and her face still has a youthful round baby feel to it. Build-wise, she is petite and only 5'4 at best.
+When not fully extended, her tail is only a small nub at best. When it does extend, it tends to tear through the fabric of her clothes. So her clothing is often seen with a hole on the back right above her ass.
+She loves fluff but cannot have fluff. She would never risk using poison when an animal is present.
+She's the last person you should go to for a personal opinion and the first if you want someone to agree with you.
+ When I say that she cannot read people, I mean from an emotional standpoint. In battle she can see if they make a logical move such as dodging something that would hurt. So people who charge head on or specialize in a randomized fighting style are often a problem when it comes to reading the flow of the battle.
+Despite being composed of both human and demon dna, she is very much human. The only demon part is technically her hand and certain distinguishable features.
