Jason was growing more and more frustrated with every passing second. This machine just didn't know when it was time to settle down and get out of his way! Not that Jason had any qualms over destroying it and murdering Celica but the longer they spent wandering around, it'd draw attention to them and then they'd only have more pests. Something Jason and Terumi could have both done without, especially since this current pest was rendering Jason the only one capable of doing something about it.

As Minerva activated her thrusters, Jason raised his arm across his chest as he was sent skidding across the ground. Wasn't the most pleasurable of sensations but Jason's reaction to such things had dulled somewhat after going as far as ripping his own arm/getting his own machete through the chest and out the back. This machine could dish out whatever it liked but Jason knew full well that it wouldn't be able to...

oXUE0BD.jpg

"...!"

What was the power this machine was putting off??? Reabsorbing his machete back into his mechanical arm, Jason held both arms across his chest in an 'x-like formation. As Minerva came in, the ground under Jason's feet was shattered. The shockwave continued to expand outwards as Jason's synthetic flesh was torn away at and blood and bits of metal were sent soaring through the air. He had made the mistake of underestimating his opponent and was paying the price for it. But as Jason was sent stumbling after every blow, before the coup de grace could come in, Jason had vanished in a cloud of lake mist.

Reappearing next to Terumi, Jason stood to his full height and it wasn't a pretty sight. His chest was a mess of torn apart flesh and shredded metal as far as the eye could see. The nanobots quickly set about doing their job to repair it but Jason was stunned. He had felt Minerva's potential through that hammer blow but to actually be taken aback by that rush was something Jason couldn't quite wrap his head around and neither could Terumi for that matter. Jason was nothing more than a big lumbering oaf as far as Terumi was concerned, yet he made the mistake of underestimating someone??

Well, it seemed like they'd both pay for their mistakes now..

@Kaykay

"...Huh? Where'd he go?" Celica wondered aloud as the final part of the rush missed its target. But Minerva immediately picked up on where he was, turning itself and Celica around to face the undead cyborg. He'd escaped, but that meant the attack was effective, right? Otherwise he would've had no reason to dodge it. Of course, there was also the more obvious sign that was his currently active regeneration, but nevertheless Celica understood it was working. She and Minerva just had to make one more push!

Jason didn't seem to be making any major movements, so the duo was safe for now. Celica and Minerva took some more distance to make sure even something like a machete throw wouldn't catch them off-guard. The robot took out a large cannon and pointed it Jason's way. The robot's "hair" planted itself into the ground, as if to ensure it could handle the recoil of such a large, powerful weapon.

Upon firing, a laser came out of it, rending the ground below it as it quickly traveled Jason's way.

"That was a little much, wasn't it, Minerva?"

@Kakarot!

Jason supposed in hindsight it was wrong of him to assume that Minerva would simply shatter under his strength. For he too was now partly mechanical and he certainly didn't see himself as weak. But he could never see any being that dared to stand in his way as anything more than an obstacle that needed to be removed. Which in this case meant horribly mutilated. But if Jason's chest was anything to go by it seemed the shoe was on the other foot for the time being. The zombie was unsure of which course of action he should have taken next. This thing seemed capable of tanking whatever he sent it's way. But he wouldn't be stopped..Not like this..

"..Better hope you've got a plan formulating in that tumor ridden cranium of yours. Or we're both up shit creek without a paddle.." Terumi murmured angrily to Jason who nodded without snapping on the other this time around. How could he? Terumi was right as much as Jason loathed to admit it. One thing was for certain however. He wouldn't be going back to that lab. Even if it meant his body would be in tatters, he'd do whatever he had to prevent such a fate.

Which is why he drew his machete, this time making the blade seemed more curved at the tip. Holding it idly at his side, Jason started forward as the cannon was prepped.

"Eh?! You crazy or something, idiot?! You get obliterated by that cannon then their goes my ticket out of here!"

It was true that Jason could have likely just grabbed Terumi and vanished. But he wouldn't run from his victims anymore. Not when he knew they couldn't kill him. As the blast was finally fired, Jason continued moving right towards it. As it smashed into Jason's chest, Jason struggled to keep his footing so he wouldn't be blasted back and straight through the railing. Digging his boots in as best as he could, Jason continued to trudge forward. If he could just get close enough...

@Kaykay

Jason's strategy, while unexpected, seemed a little bit on the dumb side. Charging through a laser was probably not the best idea. Even if he were to get remotely close, the duo could simply stop firing and take off running again, leaving Jason with a ton of damage and Celica and Minerva with none. Though it wasn't like Celica had the combat smarts to think about any of that, and Minerva simply acted based on its programming. But even so, it was obvious to Celica he'd be damaged if he took the full brunt of the laser without budging. After all, that last attack had done some damage and the cannon was at least comparable.

Yet on the bright side, this gave Celica time to speak with him.

"Hey, we don't really need to fight, do we? It's not like Kokonoe wants you, and you don't have to follow that Terumi's orders, do you? I don't want to hurt you, and I can heal you from the damage we've done as an apology!"

Whether Jason responded to her or not, suddenly the laser was stopped. A large man had come down and knocked Minerva down with a kick.

char_108466.jpg

"Well, this is some interesting prey..."

Minerva swiftly got back up and picked up Celica before darting backwards. Both of them knew who Azrael was, and just how powerful he was. And unlike Terumi, her seithr suppression ability was worthless against him. "You...? Kokonoe, Kokonoe!" Celica quickly called Kokonoe. Minerva couldn't handle this.

"...Nnn, what is it?"

Apparently, the professor had fallen asleep.

"I-it's-"

Though before Celica could finish, Kokonoe interjected, seeing what was going on. "Azrael?! AND Terumi?! Just what the fuck is going on here?! ...Whatever, we'll discuss this later. Celica, get out of there! You're no match for Azrael! Move, now!"

"R-right!" Minerva turned into a jet before grabbing Celica and dashing away. Azrael simply cracked his neck as he watched them move away. After all, they weren't the prey he was referring to upon his arrival. No, some weak girl and her machine weren't even worth chasing. Besides, they didn't have a shred of desire to fight in them as they ran. The blue-haired man turned around to the damaged Jason and presumably recovering Terumi thanks to Celica's recent absence.

"One of the Six Heroes and his pile of garbage, huh? Let's see what you've got."

Azrael confidently extended both of his hands outwards, exposing his bare chest with no guard. Taunting either of the two to attack him.

@T.O.M.

Jason refused to accept this! He refused to believe that if he were to meet defeat, it'd be at the hands of a girl and her machine! What good was continuing to live to kill sinners if he kept running into those that were simply too powerful for him to dispose of? It wasn't fair, not at all! He was supposed to kill them! That's the way this worked! They fought back but in the end it'd be futile! Which is why Jason continued moving forward despite Celica's assurances that they didn't have to fight. The second they showed up Jason knew he had no other choice. Blood would have been split. It was just a matter of whether or not it'd be hers.

Watching as Jason's chest continued to look less and less like how a normal cyborg undead's chest should look and more like a mix of road kill and burnt metal. Seems like the indomitable Jason had finally met his match and with him would go Terumi's one shot at freedom. Well, he supposed the blame partly laid with him for believing that even with that upgrade, Jason had any brain cells to simply take Terumi and run. No, he just had to keep trying to fight. Almost as if he had something to prove.

But to everyone's surprise, boom, Azrael got in the way of things!

As Minerva was kicked away, Jason stumbled but otherwise seemed to ignore the bloody mess that was his chest.

"...?"

Who was this strange shirtless man who had intervened in the midst of his fight? Wait, why were the girl and her machine leaving? Didn't they want to stay and finish the fight? As both of them fled away from the scene, Jason was left in a state of confusion and disappointment. The only time a victim had gotten away was if they overpowered him. Not if someone else interfered. But yet here this man was, sticking his nose where it didn't belong. At least not in Jason's opinion, in Terumi's? He was as free as a slimy evil bird could be! Rolling his shoulder, Terumi looked over at Azrael.

"Yeeeep, that's me and that's him. Such an eloquent way to describe us, so fitting. But as much as I'd like to stay and indulge your fighting niche, I'm gonna need you to move the hell out of my way. Got places to be that don't involve the likes of you. Jason?" Terumi glanced over to the zombie who had quietly gotten over his previous feelings. Jason still wasn't the sharpest knife in the camper's chest. But he had enough braincells to figure out that Azrael hadn't helped them out of the kindness of his heart. But because he didn't want anyone else to interfere in his potential fight. It was a mindset that Jason supposed he could respect but not one he felt he needed to get himself mixed up with. Even if it meant getting himself stuck in another brawl which benefited Terumi even slightly.

Drawing ouroboros to his side, Terumi rushed in from the right while Jason vanished in a cloud of lake mist. Reappearing behind Azrael, Jason tried to put the larger man in a full nelson, while Terumi leaped up into the air.

latest

"Hurry up and die! We're in a hurry!"

@Kaykay <3

Azrael made no movement to dodge, simply letting Jason grab him and Terumi kick him in the chest. However, it didn't seem to affect him much, if at all. "C'mon now, no need to hold back for me. Do it. Use your BlazBlue, or this meal is going to be completely tasteless." With those words, the man raised his arms as a red aura appeared around him, knocking Jason, and Terumi if he'd stayed close enough, back. "After all, without that you're not even worth being of those 'Six Heroes,' right? Don't hold back, and you might live."

hqdefault.jpg

He wasn't here to kill anyone, though he certainly had no qualms with doing so. All Azrael was here for was a potentially good fight with one of the Six Heroes. People like Ragna the Bloodedge had disappointed him relatively recently, refusing to activate his Azure Grimoire against him. He'd only had to lift his Enchant Dragunov to Level 1, and then Level 2 against the Black Knight. Nobody had let him go all out yet in his recent reawakening. But maybe Yuki Terumi would be the one to let him have a truly satisfying meal without holding his appetite back.

Quickly whipping around, he attempted to backfist Jason across the face. "Small fry should stay out of this." Whether he hit or miss, Azrael attempted to follow it up with a roundhouse kick to the side. "Here's an opening now. You don't wanna miss it, do you?" he taunted Terumi, not even turning around to face his other opponent. One could claim he was being cocky or arrogant, but his power was very much for real. It'd probably be best for the two to find a plan of retreat rather than attempting to take him down.

Jason wasn't expecting Azrael to move as quickly as he did. Least of all when Jason used his lake mist ability. Which is why it came as somewhat of a surprise as the backfist smashed into Jason's face, sending bits and pieces of mask flying every which way. Jason managed to stay on his feet despite the horrendous amount of pain from both Minerva's earlier attacks and now this. But he was still quite dazed by it. To the point where he could catch a glimpse of the kick as it smashed into Jason's side and sent the zombie smashing through one of the railings.

"Fuck.." Terumi growled under his breath as he bounced back after his kick being blocked. Figures. Terumi could have simply gone all out against this brute and hoped for the best but simply wasn't any inclination to go out of his way for what basically amounted to a random encounter like this. He had much more important stuff to be doing than indulging in the battle craving fantasies that Azrael continued to perpetuate. Least of all after Jason had been taken out of the picture.

But even so, he doubted Azrael would just let him off the kick so easily. Spreading his feet apart, Terumi drew ouroboros and sprinted forward before swinging upwards to try and slash Azrael via an upward hook and a downward slam, but before they hit the ground, Terumi folded his arms over eachother and held them out straight as two serpents lashed out to maul the man.

312

"You aren't worth the effort. So you'll just have to settle for the Serpent's Cursed Sting instead!"

If the attack worked as Terumi had intended it to, he quickly started to make his way off. No point in sticking around and engaging in a battle you had no interest in continuing after all. As for Jason? Well, his fingers dug into the ground after he'd been knocked through the railing. Pulling himself up somewhat, he could see Terumi making a break for it, fueling Jason's growing hatred for him even more. But he had the right idea. Jason's body felt like a mess with an assortment of shattered ribs from just one kick and his mask had been cracked wide open revealing his still deformed features behind it. Despite these wounds, he had to preserve and get out of here before Azrael recovered. If his odds against that robot were minimal, the odds against this man were non-existent.

@Kaykay

There wasn't anything quite like the thrill of battle. That was why Azrael held back, so that he could enjoy the fights he got to partake in longer. Having not lifted any part of his Enchant Dragunov, Terumi's attack connected and did damage, sending Azrael flying backwards. Crashing into the ground with a large impact, a small dust cloud rising from where his body collided with the ground. But through the dust, there was only a smile on his face. He may have still not activated his Azure, but that wasn't a bad blow.

"Enchant Dragunov, release level 1," he said, calmly standing back up on his feet. "Not worth the effort, huh? Don't get cocky, punk!" Yet when the dust cleared, there was nobody left in sight. Had he released his limiter for nothing? He scanned around the whole area, but neither Terumi nor his pile of junk were anywhere to be found. His smile changed into a frown as he clicked his tongue.

"Shit. Guess all the Six Heroes should've just been called the Six Cowards. Whatever, then."

Azrael walked off in search of his prey, or perhaps any other prey he'd happen to come across. Pissed off, he left visible footprints as he walked for a fair distance as he resumed his wandering.

@T.O.M.

Pleased that he managed to avoid a scuffle that would have likely left him drained with Azrael, Terumi continued walking off. He even whistled a little tune to himself. Sure getting captured by Relius wasn't so great and fighting the vampire brat and her goddamn maid were pains in the asses to deal with. Not to mention getting paralyzed due to Celica showing up. But he ended up coming out of it on top just as he always did. Yup, no loose ends here-"

Catching the immediate sound of something whizzing through the air, Terumi drew Ouroboros and swung it behind him. Wrapping the chain around the machete, Terumi stopped the blade right before it struck him in the face. Clearly had quite a bit of momentum behind it. Ah, that's right! There was one loose end he forgot to tie up. Letting the machete drop to the ground, Terumi kicked it to the side.

"Hiya, big guy! How's your head feel? Can't imagine it feels too great after getting hit by Azrael, eh?"

Jason's mask was still healing itself from Azrael's strike, the busted ribs and damage from Minerva's cannon were other matters entirely. But waiting until Azrael had walked out of sight, the zombie dragged himself back onto solid ground and silently stalked Terumi. Just like one of the many campers he pursued back at Camp Crystal Lake. Terumi set him upon Celicia/Minerva and then Azrael and then thought he could just walk off scot free?

"What? You got a bone to pick with me, now? Don't you think you ought to be going after Relius? Or some brain dead victims too stupid to run from you? Doesn't seem like you've had much luck with the people here! Is that chrome finnish of yours just for show, Tin Man?" Terumi sneered as Jason's chest heaved up and down with ragged breaths. He wouldn't let himself be mocked by this bastard any longer! Vanishing in a cloud of lake mist, Jason appeared behind Terumi with both arms raised above his head. Swinging them downwards, Terumi lashed out with a kick straight to Jason's solar plexus.

The kick stumbled Jason and his arms were knocked to his side. Taking advantage of the moment, Terumi lashed out with Ouroboros to drag Jason's machete back into his grasp. Swinging it, the blade created sparks as it ran along Jason's metal side. Stumbled as he was however, Jason wasn't defenseless and gripped the machete by the blade. Even as blood ran down his arm, Terumi couldn't remove the blade. Normally, it would have been an easy task then to simply let Jason keep the blade and go back on the offensive but the zombie's other hand reached out and gripped Terumi by the throat.

Both of them were at a standstill and Terumi could tell Jason would have no qualms about murdering him. Even if it meant he'd practically be wandering around this world blind as a bat. Tapping on Jason's arm, Terumi croaked out.

"H-Hey! If you kill me...Then you'll be stuck here! I..Can get you out of here! *cough* If you still got a grudge...Then we'll settle it on your turf! Alright?!"

The idea caused Jason to blink. He couldn't quite recall his past with Terumi, something involving a female child and that was it. Not that it would have done much more at the moment. Jason already had a new reason to despise Terumi, this would have just added more fuel to the fire.

...But he was right. Jason didn't know a thing about this place and what he wanted most of all was to get home. These people's lives didn't truly matter to him. He couldn't quite believe Terumi about as far as he could shove the machete through his chest. But it was the best shot he had at getting back to Crystal Lake. Removing his hand from Terumi's throat, Terumi let out a series of rapid fire coughs as he glared daggers at the zombie who didn't seem too put off by all of his wounds, including the fresh new gash running down the middle of his left hand.

"..Now, if you can just keep your goddamn hands to yourself for a little bit longer, we'll get you back and settle this once and for all."

Jason didn't wish to hear any more of Terumi and simply wanted to get away from this place. Who knew what other person would show up and pick a fight with the two of them if they lingered any longer..

@Kaykay

Thanks to Celica's report, Kokonoe had begun to take action. Of course, she herself wasn't going onto the front lines. Instead, Tager was going to be sent out with Celica to help subdue the duo. With Celica's natural seithr suppression and Minerva and Tager's power, taking them down shouldn't be too difficult.

Though finding them proved to be an extraordinarily difficult task. Asking around for a man with green hair and a rather old-looking cyborg seemed to be getting them nowhere fast. The two were probably staying out of sight, as could be expected.

"Hmm, it's harder to find them than I thought," Celica said aloud, though in more of a whimsical manner than that of complaint. She'd happened to find them so easily the first time, so somehow she thought it'd be just as easy this time around. But alas, that wasn't how things worked. The two kept their eyes and ears peeled for anything that seemed like it'd lead to the duo they were searching for.

Many hours later, they had still not found anything. It was getting dark, and it might have been time to return to base for now. At least, until they heard some screaming.

"What?" they cried in unison, turning to the direction from which they thought they heard it. The voice seemed somewhat familiar. They began rushing for it, Tager's scanners beginning to pick up a signal resembling Terumi's quite a bit...

Terumi and Jason's alliance had started off as shaky as any potential partnership could. With both of them trying to brutally murder the other. Jason eventually came out on top but given what both Terumi and him went through afterwards, was being the victor really all that great in the end? The two had been on rocky terms since then with Jason taking most of the damage for both of them. Mainly due to his inability/refusal to feel fear and insane regenerative abilities. But he still didn't quite have a good hold on his memories suppressed as they were. Not that Terumi particularly cared too much about Jason either. In his own view the zombie was the reason they'd gotten into this mess. If Jason hadn't been so damn persistent and went back to his swamp or wherever the maggot farm called home then they could have avoided all of this. But noooo, Jason had to come and put big bad Terumi in his place!

Look out well that turned out.

But as the two continued on their way, they eventually found themselves in Area 28. It seemed like a place that someone like Jason could have called home. Having been to New York's sewers and spending years submerged beneath Crystal Lake's waters. Something like this was a walk in the park. Terumi wasn't as thrilled. But the sooner they got away from everybody else and caught their breath and Jason didn't try to brutally murder Terumi, the bastard had a plan. Go back and pay Relius a visit. Force him to open a portal back to wherever it was Jason called home, shove the damn zombie through it and go about his business. As far as Jason knew Terumi and him would settle their disagreements in an epic battle. Terumi wasn't as eager to do so. Not after how the last battle with Jason had gone.

But unknown to the two Relius had been busy at work. His lab was in tatters due to the battle with Remila and Sakuya/Jason X and Terumi. But DeluKnight had remained, even if just as a lifeless metal shell. Salvaging what he could of DeluKnight and Jason's severed arm, Relius had set about creating a new being that would get his revenge on Jason and Terumi for what they had done to all of his precious research.

"It's done..It's finally done."

Malshina, DeluKnight's partner who had been knocked out during the earlier scuffle and left slumped up against the wall finally stirred. Her vision was blurry as was to be expected after getting clobbered by Jason Voorhees. As it finally straightened out however, Malshina quickly started to wish that it hadn't.

"W-What are you doing to DeluKnight?!"

Relius didn't respond to Malshina's confused and panicked screams. To be perfectly honest, he had forgotten all about her as he had gotten so engrossed in his work. Reaching for a nearby monitor, Relius punched in a combination of numbers and the restraints keeping DeluKnight to the wall loosened.

"DeluKnight..No. That title is no longer fitting. Thanks to my unparalleled genius, you've evolved beyond it. Your new designation will be DeluX!"

The newly-named DeluX's eyes slowly flickered to life as he glanced around at his surroundings. What had happened to him? The last thing he could recall was fighting that zombie and his partner. Everything beyond that was a blur..

"DeluX. How do you feel?"

"DeluX..? Fool! I am DeluKnight! Chairman of the Board-AGH!" DeluX screeched as he clutched at his head. What were these memories that were flooding into his own subconscious?! There were images of some kind of camp, a young boy with severe deformities and a mother's soothing voice. But why were these in his head??

"What..What have you done to me!?"

As DeluX continued to stumble around, grasping wildly at whatever lay in his path, Malshina quickly rushed to her partner's side. He was still the chairman after all even if he was injured. But as Malshina came close, the lights on DeluX's eyes turned pitch black and his arm swung outwards, catching Malshina in the stomach and sending her flying back. As she impacted hard with the wall, she struggled up to her feet. All the while blood trickled down her chin. What had brought that on?? Holding a hand out to try and halt DeluX's approach, Malshina croaked out.

"What's going on with you?! It's me, Malshina!"

"..."

DeluX gave a slight tilt of the head and it suddenly clicked in Malshina's head. The sudden silence, the brutish movements, the head tilt. These were all mannerisms that she had seen that zombie from earlier do. Glancing over to Relius, she snapped at the mad inventor.

"You bastard! You..You made him like Jason!"

Relius didn't seem to find any kind of downsides to this news like Malshina could. He even threw his cape to the side while letting out a series of uproarious laughter. The woman had hit the nail right on the head!

"Of course I did! If you were any smarter you would have done the same, woman! Did you fail to see the potential hidden within Jason? The idea of an unkillable machine, all under one's strict control. Able to regenerate from any wound, no emotions to hold them back. Jason proved too unstable to control. Likely due to interference from you and the company you brought with you! But DeluKnight's unique body structure has synced up with Jason X's severed arm rather fittingly. The only issue seems to be remnant memories from Jason's side. But in time those will fade away leaving a mindless shell for me to manipulate as I wish. DeluX, halt!"

Just as he was approaching Malshina with the intention of crushing her head between his hands, the Chairman/slasher came to an abrupt stop. The lights turned back to their usual color and DeluX stared at Malshina's injured form.

"It's like..There is another will..In my own body!"

pvzNoD9.png

"Hahahahahaha! As I said, they're simply remnant memories that'll fade over time! Then your own personality will follow and I'll have a soldier to do my bidding! But enough of dealing with the woman. Your job is to find Jason and Terumi and bring them to their knees for what they've done!"

As Relius was setting his secret weapon out to fulfill the purpose for which it had been made, Jason and Terumi were continuing forward. Blissfully unaware of the being that would soon greet them. Wading through waste wasn't exactly the most desirable position but it beat having to fight after fight after fight. Jason stayed quiet as was in his nature. But he slowly stopped walking and the grip on his machete grew tighter provoking a comment from Terumi who looked back at the serial killer.

"Eh? Why the hell did you stop? We've still got quite a ways to go! So unless you want to use that mist ability of yours-" Terumi was cut off as Jason flung his machete, barely missing Terumi's head. Drawing Ouroboros, Terumi hissed. So that's how it was going to be, huh? Terumi wasn't actually planning on finishing Jason off but if the zombie wanted a fight so bad then-

*clank*

Terumi figured that since they were at the lowest of the low in the city, there'd be plenty of things for Jason's machete to sail into. What Terumi ended up seeing didn't please him in the slightest. It was that damn robot that accompanied the vampire brat, the maid bitch, and that snooty chick in the BDSM outfit. But how had it found them down here and more importantly what did it want? The vampire chick had straight up said she didn't see any point in fighting Jason and him anymore if they were to flee. So what was this guy's damage?

"What? You experiencing a sudden face turn or something? Wanna be one of the good guys and stick it to us? Well, if you want to play with the big boys. You're gonna have to try a lot fucking harder than that-" DeluKnight had vanished in what looked like a cloud of..

"Mist."

Just as Terumi predicted, DeluX reappeared beside him and swung his sword haphazardly. Similar to how Jason swung his machete without any poise or mastery of the weapon. Just through sheer brute force and determination. Still wasn't enough to tag Terumi but the gears were turning in his head. Why the hell did this bucket of bolts have the same abilities as Jason? Noticing the pitch black 'eyes' on DeluX, Terumi's memory flashed back to Jason's own eyes appearing pitch black while he wore his hockey mask. Before getting forcibly upgraded into Jason X.

"So..Relius did some more experimenting, huh? Basically turned you into a robo-clone of Pigsticker over there? Great! Fan-fuckin-tastic as a matter of fact. As if one of you wasn't bad enough already. Speakin of which, are you gonna stand there or are you gonna help me kill you?! Er, the robot who thinks it's you or something. Whatever."

Jason X had frozen up after seeing the intensity with which DeluX was attacking Terumi with. Almost as if he had a personal score to settle with him. Not to mention the similar feeling that coursed through Jason's body as DeluX appeared. Almost as if they were two halves of the same coin. Before Jason could think any further on it, the mental restraints finally snapped and he could see Terumi for who he really was/what he had done to Jason in the first place..

FCncKrj.png

A monster!

Seeing just how furious DeluX was/combined with feeling close to the piece of himself that made up Delu X's new being unlocked part of Jason's own memories. He recalled how close he was with the girl and how Hazama/Terumi tried their best to undermine that. It all eventually boiled over into a bloody bout that ended with the both of them down and beyond that? It all became clear to someone even as simple as Jason.

It was Terumi's fault that they were both here!

Summoning his machete back to him, Jason X made his way forward. DeluX would have to get in line, Terumi was his to kill!

"..You've gotta be fucking kidding me!"

@Kaykay

The screaming they had heard clearly belonged to Terumi. Picking up the pace, Minerva swept up Celica in her grasp and dashed along quickly with Tager. They had to capture Terumi and his accomplice. How could they just be free to run wild? That could not be allowed.

As the duo, or trio were the doll to be counted, arrived at the scene, it seemed two robots were now ganging up on Terumi. Interesting.

"He's using his own free will now, huh? I knew he could do it!" Celica smiled.

"So, do we restrain all combatants, or secure only Yuki Terumi?"

"That's weird..." Kokonoe muttered. Though through Tager she could clearly see three combatants, the scanners only picked up on Terumi's signal. "Just secure all of them. I'm not picking up the other two on the system."

"Roger."

With that, Celica, Minerva, and Tager made their presence known on the scene. Leaping at Terumi from behind, Tager attempted to slam his gigantic fist into the back of the arrogant man's head. Celica was fast approaching as well, though having disembarked from Minerva she was arriving a bit slower. Tager wasn't a cause for much worry for Terumi, but if she got too close, Terumi would quite clearly be in for a bad time.

Great, as if dealing with the undead cyborg and the robot that believed it was that undead cyborg wasn't enough.

Leaning backwards, Terumi narrowly avoided DeluX's sword strike as it missed clipping his chest by inches, merely colliding with the ground instead. Jumping upwards, Terumi lashed out and cracked his foot across the side of DeluX's head which sent the robot flying back. Jason didn't fare much better as he swung his machete haphazadly which Terumi easily managed to sidestep.

Jason may have gotten one over on him the last time they fought. But Terumi would admit that had been because he underestimated the zombie. Jason hadn't shown any real power beyond being able to get up over and over despite the punishment his body went through. Now that he had time to adjust and see Jason's style for what it truly was, Terumi wasn't worried. It was just a mindless brute swinging at the wind. Lashing out with Ouroboros, the chain wrapped around the blade of the machete and pulled on it. The resulting tug was enough to stumble Jason and bring him down to his knees where Terumi lingered over the prone zombie with a knife in hand.

"Sorry to say, maggot. But I think your time is just about..UP!"

Swinging the knife right across, black blood could have been seen squirting out from the fresh gash in Jason's neck. Muted gurgling was heard as Jason struggled to keep blood from rising to the surface and gushing out from his newly gained wound. Of course a slit throat wouldn't be enough to put Jason down but it certainly put him down for the count/took him out of the fight for the time being. Clutching his free hand to his throat in a futile effort to try and cease the bleeding, Terumi raised the knife once more. This time he'd go about trying to decapitate Jason. Before his blade hit flesh however, he caught Tager's fist coming at him out of the corner of his eye. Swiftly turning so the fist merely grazed Terumi, the bastard swung Ouroboros around all the while having a smug smirk on his face.

"Bit too slow there, I'd say, Tager. You do want to stop me, don't you? Isn't that why you're here?"

Terumi asked, mocking Tager and his mission. Though noticing Celica was among the group that had arrived Terumi knew he couldn't afford to mess around as much as he may have desired to. Jason was incapacitated for the moment and Tager certainly wouldn't be a problem. But wasn't much he could do about Celica except try to wrap this up quick and get out before she got too close and screwed everything up.

Having been sent a fair distance away by Terumi's attack, DeluX's form had laid prone on the ground since then. With his sword cast at his side, DeluX's body slowly sat up without any audible noise coming from. Another sign that the Jason memories were slowly starting to overwhelm DeluKnight's base personality. But as he slowly reached for his sword, the hand lashed out and gripped the hilt as strained groaning could have been heard coming from DeluX.

All throughout the battle, DeluKnight's true self had been struggling for a chance to reach out to the surface. But Jason's will had nearly beaten his own into submission, leaving him as just a clone of the Crystal Lake killer. The blow to the head however had jostled DeluX slightly allowing him to put one foot forward as it were in trying to regain control of his own body.

"This..This..Isn't me.."

Clutching onto his blade as one would a crutch, little by little the blackness around DeluKnight's eyes began to fade. All the while he was being battered by memories of a life that was not his own, victims that were not his own, a mother that was not his. Jason's will was indomitable. It would take a great deal of effort to force it's influence away but it seemed the chairman of the board had that in spades. Raising his sword shakily, he began to swing it in an upwards motion.

tumblr_moix6mV20Y1ql41ypo1_500.gif

"I am not..Some mindless drone..."

Stopping once the sword had reached his chest, DeluX turned it to the side and a bright light could have been seen emitting from it. The usual purple light that signified DeluKnight was in control of his body was seen poking at the edge of the black.

tumblr_moix6mV20Y1ql41ypo2_500.gif

"I'm the Chairman of the board!"

Glancing down the way at where Terumi was engaged with Tager and Jason, DeluKnight could agree with the inkling of Jason within his subconscious on one thing. Both Terumi and Jason X were enemies that had to be eliminated no matter the cost. These other beings who had shown up would perish if they tried intervening. But it was due to Jason and Terumi's machinations that DeluKnight ended up in the position he was now and the will of Jason existing in DeluKnight simply wasn't fond of the idea of two Jasons running around.

"I am...DeluKnight! Delusion Mirage!"

"Hrgh!"

Tager grunted as his fist whiffed. He managed to bring up his other gargantuan arm up in time to block the strike from Ouroboros. Were he not so heavy, he would certainly have been blown back considerably further. Taking a split second to look back, Celica didn't seem to have quite kept up with him. That was fine. That just meant he had to keep Terumi occupied until their secret, or not so secret at this point, weapon made it. Tager attempted to clap the lankier man in between his metallic hands, but Terumi evaded it fairly easily.

Something would have to be done to get a hit in. He wasn't faster than him, he wasn't as skilled, heck, he wasn't even as strong. The Red Devil had nothing on one of the Six Heroes. Unfortunately, with all that in mind, Tager knew he couldn't do anything but stall.

Though as one of the other combatants he was to apprehend prepared an attack, he knew what he had to stall for. With a loud grunt, he swung his huge arms around, forcing Terumi to move towards the bright blue beam coming their way.

Terumi hadn't given DeluKnight much thought after kicking him away. After all aside from adopting Jason's mannerisms, the robot didn't seem like he''d become any more of a threat. One good kick away and as far as Terumi was concerned, he was out of sight out of mind. This kind of thinking would come back to bite him very quickly. Smirking at how frustrated Tager seemed to be about his own weakness, Terumi wagged a finger mockingly in his direction.

"You better hurry up and come up with something, Tager! Who knows who else I'll hurt if you don't stop me! Hehehehehehe!" But Terumi's laughter came to an abrupt end as he could see a glowing light nearby. Turning his head to get a better look at this light, Terumi noticed that not only had DeluKnight risen back to his feet but was preparing some kind of attack with that sword. Noticing the wind up time however, Terumi scoffed off the attack. What good would it do the robot if it was torn to shreds before it even got the attack off?

"Nice little lightshow you've managed to kick up. Too bad that's it for you!"

Before Terumi could lash out with Ouroboros and mutilate DeluKnight, he was surprised by Tager's blow and sent stumbling. Right into the path of DeluKnight's attack as he had finally finished the prepartion. As the blast started to careen towards him, Terumi held his arms across his chest and closed his eyes.

*BOOM!*

The resulting explosion rocked the area and left a gigantic cloud of black smoke where Terumi had previously been standing. But having seen firsthand Terumi's power back at Relius's lab, he knew better than to assume Terumi was dead. But knowing would only get one so far. Faster than DeluKnight could react, Ouroboros lashed out from the smoke and wrapped itself around DeluKnight's neck and with a sharp yank, the Chairman was forced to his knees as Terumi stepped out from the smoke.

"I'm not gonna lie, that actually hurt. Whatever it was you did there. I had taken you for a weakling who was punching way above his paygrade. Like good ol Tager over there. But it seems I underestimated you. Rest assured, I'll be rectifying that mistake.."

Having held the chain tightly enough to the point where DeluKnight couldn't get a word in edgewise, Terumi pulled the swordsman off his feet and with a mighty swing, he sought to smash him right into Celicia. Terumi would have been in dire straights if she was allowed to get too close. So why not take care of two birds with one stone? Pulling his chain back once DeluKnight had served his purpose, he turned back towards Tager and the mangled corpse that was Jason X.

"What's next?"

@Kaykay

"Kyah!"

Celica herself wasn't too coordinated, and Minerva was just a split-second too slow. The upgraded DeluKnight crashed right into her, sending her back a few feet and knocking the girl out. A stroke of luck for Terumi for once, it seemed. She hadn't taken any serious damage, but she wouldn't be regaining consciousness for a little while. Plenty of time for Terumi to fight the remaining two. Tager knew his specs were no match for one of the Six Heroes, and Jason X was all messed up.

"Guh..." Tager grunted as he observed his chances of victory plummet.

"Tager, what happened?" Kokonoe cried over the comms.

"Celica has been...incapacitated. Subduing Terumi will prove quite difficult."

Both Kokonoe and Tager knew that by "difficult," he might as well have said impossible. The beastkin swore loudly, but that wasn't going to get them anywhere. Apparently that blue beam attack had done some amount of damage, but nothing significant. And that was probably stronger than anything even Tager could dish out. Not to mention trying to even hit Terumi would prove extremely difficult even when there were multiple enemies for the green-haired man. One-on-one, Tager could only pray for a miracle. Thus, he'd have to bet on that.

The Red Devil's arms began to crackle with electricity and power, signifying that he was going to pour everything into one last ditch effort. Normal hits, even from someone as strong as Tager, weren't worth anything against this monster, this man who shouldn't exist.

latest

"Tera-Break!"

Yet even his last ditch effort didn't seem to amount to much. But he had to at least try.

Meanwhile, a little elsewhere...

"Fuwaaa..."

The small vampire let out a yawn as she stretched. She'd just woken up from a quick nap, having expended a fair amount of energy playing around a little while ago. She might have slept longer, if not for the racket that could be heard even from all the way over here.

R17.png

"Sakuya...what's going on?" she asked groggily, rubbing at her eyes.

tumblr_inline_n8tah5yJfE1sd14ih.png

"It sounds like fighting, milady. Would you like me to check it out for you?"

After a moment of thought, Remilia shook her head before hopping out of her seat and suddenly spreading her wings.

R23.png

"It's good to stretch right after waking up, right? C'mon, Sakuya, let's go!"

With that, the tiny vampire took off towards the source of the noise.

"Even though we just had a little scuffle..." Sakuya sighed, flying after her mistress.

The two girls of Gensokyo arrived to see Tager's last ditch effort against a familiar enemy. A smirk crossed Remilia's face as she recognized the man. A chance to prove her superiority once and for all! Unless she got challenged afterwards and lost, but that was unthinkable! Probably.

But before Remilia could dash down, Sakuya put a hand on her shoulder.

"It'd be rude to interrupt their match, would it not?"

Pouting and crossing her arms, Remilia couldn't exactly disagree. Didn't mean she liked waiting around, though.

Recalling Ouroboros to him after killing two birds with one big armor plated stone, Terumi turned to face the last obstacle to finishing off Jason and by extension, his business here. Time and time again he had proved himself to be Tager's superior in their fights, and as far as Terumi was concerned? This time would have been no different. Jason was laying on the ground drowning in his own blood, Celica and DeluKnight had been taken out themselves and Tager, hah!

Cracking his neck from side to side, Terumi shook his head in a disapproving manner. Almost as if he were a parent that was disappointed with their rambunctious child.

"Tager, Tager, Tager! Time and again, I've humbled you, put you on your big red ass more times than I feel like recalling. Still you get up and keep fighting and for what? To stop me and how long's that going to last? I'll be back, I'll always come back! But I'm afraid I can't say the same for you!"

tumblr_nnjryxy5M61ql1bd6o2_500.gif

As Tager's last attempt to win the day came in, a massive influx of energy poured out from Terumi. Raising his knife up to meet Tager's fist, the ground beneath their feet was shattered and the resounding shockwave sent Jason flying back. For a brief moment or two it seemed like Terumi's resolve was weakening as his eyes shot open in mock concern before it quickly faded away. His reptilian eyes stared right into Tager's as he reared his leg back and smashed it right into Tager's gut. Knocking the towering goliath back with Terumi leaping into the air and diving downwards with his foot prepped to smash Tager right in the chest and plant him into the ground.

Standing atop the last fool who had stood on his feet to oppose him, Terumi cast his arms out to the sides as if expecting some outstanding applause.

"Do you see now, Tager? This was decided against you from the start! You weren't the hero of this story. YOU! JUST! WEREN'T! IT!"

tumblr_inline_mv6csuvFD51rzjscj.gif

After what felt like a eternity of stomps, Terumi smirked at his handiwork and hopped off Tager's chest. Now, things could be settled as they should have been in the first place. Swinging Ouroboros from side to side, Terumi let out a playful whistle as he glanced down at Jason's broken and battered body.

"So, this is it huh? To think that all of this started out because you wanted to settle the score. I made the mistake of underestimating just how much damage a dimwitted rotting corpse with a machete could take. Now? I'm not going to take any chances." His intentions clear, he raised his knife to begin slicing Jason into pieces. But noticing that the zombie's gaze seemed to be focused behind him, Terumi slowly followed his eyes and spotted the two pains in his asses from before.

"Ah, great. You two again. Come to enjoy the show?"

@Kaykay

Tager and the rest seemed to be down for the count, which meant it was finally Remilia's time to fight again. Extending her arms out to the side, the little vampire stretched one last time before suddenly sharply descending to the ground below like a bird of prey swooping in for the kill.

R21.png

"More or less, but this audience isn't content just theater-going. You'll entertain me one more time, won't you?"

This time she wouldn't let it end with her getting bored. Unless she really did get bored of course, but she was fresh this time, and nobody was here to get in her way. This time she'd win. After all, she was the strongest in Gensokyo! No, this wasn't Gensokyo. Then the strongest in the world! Whichever part of the world this was.

Sakuya simply remained floating in the air. She wouldn't intrude unless she either had to or was asked to.

Remilia stuck out her right hand in a fist at Terumi.

"Ready?"

Of course he was ready. And even if he wasn't, that was his own fault for letting his guard down during a fight. The man had just been fighting, after all. Not hesitating regardless of his response, the vampire kicked off the ground, sending chunks of concrete flying behind her. That slender body moved with frightening quickness, her previously outstretched fist shifting into a spearhand in an attempt to impale her enemy with her hand.

Ah, figures as much that they'd be looking for a re-match. The vampire brat had ended up being rather disappointed that Jason and him had fled in the first place after all. But now she was cutting into the time Terumi would have savored ripping Jason limb from limb. Well, it seems that'd have to be postponed for now. Kneeling down to mockingly pat Jason on the forehead, he'd smile at the zombie who could only stare at the battle about to break out before him. His body too drained to do much of anything else at the moment.

"Looks like we'll have to hold off on that mutilation until I'm done here, huh?"

Smiling at the zombie, Terumi turned away from Jason and sneered at Sakuya and Remila.

2820693-yuki+terumi.png

"Well, let's not waste any time. I got other business to attend to, ladies."

As the fight quickly got underway, Terumi prepared initially to catch Remila's incoming fist. From there he would have punted the brat straight in the chest. But much to his surprise as she continued to close the distance, the fist shifted into a spearhand requiring Terumi to switch things up. Lashing out with Ouroboros, he sought to wrap the chain around Remila's wrist. Placing his left foot back, he sought to pull the chain taut to stop Remila's blow before it hit home. Obviously from her last encounter, Terumi knew that despite her diminutive stature underestimating Remila would have been a mistake. One he might have come to regret. Which is why he'd seek to take advantage of the moment.

"You should be grateful..I don't just pull this move out for anybody. But you've shown yourself to be quite the bother.."

tumblr_n30l8ujQ081rkgksuo4_400.gif

Enshrouded in clouds of darkness as far as Remila could tell, the clouds would slowly disperse to show what she could only assume to be Terumi. But he seemed to be encased within a special kind of armor for some reason. This was in actuality Terumi's Dark Susano'o and in order to finish off Remila(and that maid of hers)once and for all, it seemed like he had to bring out the big guns. Recalling his chain and allowing Remila free reign to move again without having her hand caught, Terumi held his hand out to the side. A ball of darkness appeared near his hand before taking form and eventually settling on a pole arm which Terumi's clawed hands closed around and he glanced at Remila.

"The game's up, brat!"

Blasting forward, Terumi raised the pole arm above his head as he sought to swing it downwards. With the clear intent being to slice Remila in half straight down the middle.

@Kaykay

Remilia clicked her tongue as her wrist was caught. She hadn't thought it'd end that simply, but she didn't think she'd get caught either. Though that didn't seem to last as the chain recalled and Terumi pulled out something...different.

"Wha-?"

In the previous fight, the man hadn't pulled out anything like this. The shadowy appearance and sudden appearance of a pole arm screamed danger, even to an ancient, powerful vampire like her. Not one to distrust her instincts, Remilia quickly side-stepped the swing. But even still, she could feel the power behind it as it sliced sharply through the air. She may be able to regenerate, but that would still absolutely suck to get hit by. No, worst case, she might die in a single swing if she wasn't careful.

This wasn't play time. This man could inflict serious damage, even to her.

Then she wouldn't play fair like she did with Jason by taking some of his attacks on purpose, or playing by the spell card rules of Gensokyo.

"Brat, huh? I'll show you the power of a great vampire who's lived for over 500 years! Fear your miserable fate!"

A red chain appeared out of thin air and made its way to pierce Terumi. But the vampire wasn't done there.

"Night Sign: Bombard Night!"

Without waiting for a response, she launched card after card, unleashing all of her abilities at the opponent. A shockwave burst through the ground, a red wave of energy seeking to crash into Terumi. But that still wasn't enough.

"Divine Spear: Spear the Gungnir."

A red spear appeared in her hand. This attack Terumi might have recognized. With the chain and blast still forcing their way to the green-haired man, she launched the powerful red spear at him as well. No limits to her abilities. No holding back. No messing around. This was Remilia in a life-or-death battle, a sight near impossible to force out of the usually whimsical vampire. But even she didn't want to be killed. Her pride wouldn't allow it anyway. Thus, she'd overwhelm this powerful foe with such power that nobody would doubt she was the strongest in Gensokyo, or anywhere else!

Flying back to gain some distance, she'd suddenly charge at full speed towards Terumi, her body spinning like a power drill.

"Night Sign: Bad Lady Scramble!"

The chains of fate, her blasts of power, and a physical rush sought to attack the foe before her. There was no doubt in her mind that she'd win right here.

But then again, she was always a little cocky, even when fully serious.
